Very old cemetery. Well kept. This village of Homer has lots of history as well as this unknown cemetery. I think there is more people buried here than there were ever residents. The cemetary was a land marker in the late 1800s to help tourists locate the Burial mound of the giant people found there across the street. The cemetary is located between the burial mound to the south and what was believed to be a worship temple to the north overlooking the Licking River. It is a forgotten or buried (no pun intended) piece of history.
