Go in for a trade. No one approached me. I had to find a salesman. Then Once they appraised by trade in and gave me what Id be paying for a new vehicle the price was $5,000 over the sticker price on the car. They stated its a sellers market And all vehicles are over priced and everyone is paying the extra money. I said well Im not paying extra its listed for $5k less. We did not work out a deal and I wont ever buy a vehicle from them. When its a buyers market Ill remember who was taking advantage of the people. They also cost them selves around $200,000 worth of extra business because my buddy who runs his own company came with me to see how the service was and he wont be buying his new trucks from them. Good luck treating people like a number. Wont make it long with that attitude.
Have been dealing with Art and the Holman Motors group for years now. Personally have bought two vehicles, have sent two friends there as well for two additional trucks and a travel trailer. The service, inventory and process is hard to match and everyones willingness to treat you as the customer is felt by you as the customer. Art specifically has gone out of his way, not just during the sale but more so after when service begins, questions around accessories, etc. I can honestly say he has helped me with all of these items to include on days off as well as with helping with friends and family. Great guy and I would strongly recommend you reach out to him if going to this dealer!
Its a very large RV dealership for Travel trailers, fifth wheel, new and used Class As...its has a great deal to offer but be prepared to walk around to find that hands-on piece of equipment...research on line to aide in cutting through the fog of the ones you wish to most review in person...take notes and lots of pictures to help you make the best final decision.Ask for Pete Klei
Very good experience with Holman Motors!I have purchased three trucks from Ed and Tom in the last year. It’s difficult to find good customer service these days but I can guarantee you that these folks will take great care of you until the end!Excellent experience, extremely satisfied!
Worst possible place to EVER buy a used vehicle from . Was first sold a vehicle with the check engine light on but told it was only due to it being a turbo car , later to find out there was a horrible oil leak that would’ve been half the cost of the car to replace just 2 days after buying it. We brought the car in to be “Fixed” by them but they would not put in writing that they fixed the issue . Luckily I was able to reverse the deal and gave the car back but I will never return to this place ever again .
The vehicle we went to look at had many issues. The back lift did not open all the way, the air conditioning did not work. The power seats had broken buttons, the seat warmers did not work and the check engine light was on. They said they dont fix vehicles till someone buys them and if it cost too much to fix then they would return on money. I was just amazed. So they run your credit. Setup your loan and then try to fix the issues with it? I cant see how anyone could be ok with that.
Sara Dingledine here. I have had a wonderful experience with the Holman team. My husband and I purchased a truck from you guys and unfortunately we ended up having a major issue happen to the truck. Everyone on the staff that we spoke to was kind and understanding and very willing to help us in any way they could. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were not only comfortable with our purchase but also very happy with the outcome. I know sometimes it feels like you arent making a difference but I guarantee that your efforts have not gone unnoticed! I will definitely recommend your dealership to anyone in the market and will look into purchasing from you again in the future. From the bottom of our hearts thank you and keep up the great work! Sara and Charles Dingledine.
The first day my car sat and was not touched because the necessary technician was not yet available. But then the dealer stepped up, gave me a loaner car and worked hard to make the repair. The car was ready by the end of the next day once the necessary part arrived. I was thrilled!
We looked at two different cars and were kind of un decided, Then e were told a price and we said okay and the finance guy said our finances were not good enough and TJ kept saying it would be ok. It would only be 150.00 dollars morre. My wife kept saying no and TJ kept saying it would only be that for a couple of months and then we could refinance He kept badgering us I wanted to leave but he insists to signMy wife was vrey upset and befor we knew it he had the liscence plates changed and everything. we tried everything to get this changed and they said because it was a lease car it could not be changed. we said but he told us we could refinance in a couple of months and everytime we said that they came back with we signed the paper and would not even talk about a to resolve this. We are very dissatisfied because we got absolutly no help.
I want to say Im writing this reviewing having not bought a car from them but still wanted to say that I had a great experience at the dealership. Seth gave us great customer service and knew I had options to look at and didnt press the issue. He made himself available should we have any questions and I really appreciated that. No hassling, no pressuring. Just being honest and considerate of my time and of his own time. I would buy a car here in the future just based on that one experience and would absolutely recommend anyone to go see Seth.
I thought my service would all be under the warrenty but there was a charge which I was not aware of. I made on line reservations but they said it was not listed. Originally they didnt know if they would be able to get to it before the weekend but they were able to fix it that day which I was very grateful for.
I purchased a new 2500 HD Denali Duramax near the end of 2018 for approximately $70K. With less than 70,000 miles I started having random issues not covered under warranty (no surprise). The first repair cost around $400 to replace a sensor, they had my vehicle for two weeks but provided a courtesy vehicle. While my vehicle was in the shop I requested a tire rotation. When I retrieved my vehicle there was a terrible shake (I now assume rotation does not include alignment or balancing, ETC.), Before I could schedule further maintenance a tire blew out.Not wanting to return to the dealer, I scheduled a new tire, alignment etc. with a shop near my office. Upon review they found one of the rotated tires had been cross threaded so badly that I had to replace the part where lug nuts fasten for another $600.The second issue was a wire harness replacement at the cost of around $700. With the second issue, no courtesy vehicle was available for three weeks. My vehicle was inoperable so I was forced to rent a vehicle for a week at the cost of an additional $700.In a 4 month period, my vehicle has spent around three weeks in the dealers possession, and Ive spent over $2400 on maintenance. To add insult to injury, while complaining about the cost of said repairs not being under warranty and being necessary for a young, lightly used vehicle, the person at the repair desk told me to take that up with GM.My father has the same truck, different year, and his experience with Holman mirrors my own. I would not recommend anyone purchase a diesel GMC, and if you do, find a dealer that will stand by the product they sold you. Last week I purchased a new F550 from Beechmont Ford, hopefully they provide a better customer experience.Holmans unwillingness to act as the middle man between manufacturer and customer is an aversion of accountability and a proverbial slap in the face. Additionally If theyre selling an unreliable product, perhaps they should invest in some courtesy vehicles.
As odd as it sounds, what I really was looking for was a car and a relationship.Of course, wanted a good, safe car.But what I really needed was a relationship. One where I can be taken care of over the long term. As nice as cars are, there is always some level of stress connected with ownership. I appreciate my experience and hope that this relationship will always have me in a safe automobile and watched over by a group of people who will have my back. Thanks
Gary is wonderful and so is John Morgan! Even though I moved and am not close to Holman Motors anymore, I still go back every time something is wrong with my vehicle. Your team is amazing! Car issues intimidate me and I do not understand car lingo lol, but your staff always takes the time to explain everything so that I am comfortable with making decisions.Thank you!
I drive approximately 25 miles from independence Ky to Holman motors but it is a easy drive. I pull in to the enclosed structure, get out of car, go inside, talk to service person, wait in a nice lounge, and in a short time the vehicle is finished. My service was a oil change and tire rotation. The people are friendly, there is coffee, drink, and pastry for your convenience and on top of that your automobile is washed. The management team or owners and worker do a excellent job.😀
Great selection of trucks, I did purchase a NEW truck here, I would have walked away from the sale but it was a good deal and the GMC special ended that day. We had an argument with the salesman during the completion of the paperwork, I expected a manger to intervene but that did not happen. Once the paperwork was completed I expected to receive a walk around of the vehicle explaining the features, electronics, etc. that never happened. Time had passed after the argument and with the completion of the sale I thought that we were good to move on. The car was cleaned by the lot tech and that was it....we returned the next day or two to complete paperwork with the finance department.
I bought a used fifth wheel from Holman Motors in October 2020. Prior to the purchase my salesperson was professional and courteous, showing the camper via FaceTime and she even found a tall person to stand in the hallway so I could gauge things with my own height. Once I decided to purchase the camper, I was informed that they wouldn’t budge on their 7 day deposit policy. Due to my work schedule and their firm 7 day deposit policy, the only option was for me to make the 800 mile trip over the weekend (in three days), which they didn’t like, but agreed to since I was keeping to their mandatory 7 day deposit policy. Since I wouldn’t be camping until 2021; I asked that the unit be winterized, and they agreed. That Saturday I arrived to finalize the sale; and the camper appeared to be all the salesperson showed me. While walking through the unit we noted that several lights inside were out. They immediately replaced the bulbs, but left the bad bulbs in the sink. Back home, I opened the camper up to check things over and found the black tanks to be 1/3 full and the fresh tank to be full; so to be safe, I took it to a local dealer to have it re-winterized where they confirmed that the lines hadn’t been fully cleared and would have burst the pipes over the winter. During the re-winterization water was spraying out of the hot water heater and they said the check valve was bad. I called Holman Motors and explained everything and they did reimbursed for the winterization; but said the check valve could have broken on the ride home. Fast forward to Spring 2021, I took the camper to have the check valve replaced; only to find out that it was good, but the hot water heater bypass switch was bad (which if winterized correctly would have been caught). Over the winter, from October ’20-April ’21 the camper was completely covered and locked up. Yet, when I shampooed the carpet after opening the camper in April 21, they were filthy and full fabric fibers (no one was in the bedroom from the time I purchased it in October through April 21). Wiping out cabinets and drawers I found coins and other little bits of trash throughout the camper.Bottom line: overall they do a terrible job of getting the camper cleaned and repaired for resale; even though their schedule was busy they wouldn’t try to work with the customer by budging on their 7 day deposit policy; they didn’t winterize the camper (as they said), which could have been catastrophic had I not checked; and, when they sell them “as is,” that is exactly what you get.
Stopped to view 5th wheel RVs, including Toy Haulers. Good inventory of regular 5th wheelers. Toy Hauler inventory was low - considering the size of the dealership this is likely due to industry supply issues. Very pleasant staff. Large and immaculate showroom and store.
I bought my car here in June 2020. Best car buying experience ever, and I’ve bought a lot of cars. Just went in for my first oil change and tire rotation, just as wonderful. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. As woman that’s important to me. I will never buy a car anywhere else. I live in Kentucky but it’s 100 percent worth the drive. Recommend to anyone. Thank you Holman Buick.
This place has a great inventory and their lot is very impressive. However, I was not impressed with the sales team whatsoever. Granted they were busy, but no one even stopped to be like hey everyone is busy but we will be with you as soon as we can. They just walk past you like you’re a wall. They didn’t seem friendly. After about 45 minutes someone finally asked if I needed help, and he looked the truck up. They most likely will have what you want, so if you can look past the service side of things then go for it. They ended up not having what I wanted because both vehicles sold before I could see them. That’s on me I should’ve called first.
I have bought two campers from Holmans in the past and an new suv. I stopped at the service center to ask a question about our current camper. BTW they are grsupplier. That is why I gave them two stars. As I was leaving I saw a camper that I liked and thought I would stop in to see what they would give me my current camper on trade. The girl that I by the way had to approach seemed aggravated that I was bothering her during her texting. She was not at all very friendly. To be honest I should have walked away then. I didnt though because I wanted to see what they would give me on trade. She didnt want to give nearly what I thought it was worth but wanted me to give them four times what they wanted for a camper that was two years older than mine. This is how you lose repeat customers.
I initially went in for a key fob needing to be programmed but the program to do so was down (not their fault). While there the staff were so nice and helpful. They noticed a bolt in my tire so I had that patched up while there as well. I am coming back in a few days to try for the programming of my key. The waiting area is very clean and nice as well- GREAT JOB!
As always the people at Holmans make the experience very pleasurable. James and Gary are always friendly and professional. Scott is a great person to deal with and has a way of making me feel good about choosing Holman Motors. I now live in Erlanger, KY and still want Holman to work on my vehicles.
Well first of all they dont believe in helping you. I had too find some one then ask for some one that could help me. I liked the Vehicle so I made an offer. he Leaned back in his chair and sed oh no we cant do that We might be able to take 500 maybe a $1000 off. it was priced 5000 over Retail , an just waved me off like he had something better to do. no well see what we can do or lets sit down an talk about price.no customer service at all an way over price. I would not even waste my time driving on there lot
Let me just say GO TO TJ!!!! He’s AMAZING, i called at 4:40 they closed at 6 , i showed up and we were in and out within 1hr and a half. We were so discouraged by other dealers we had been ran through so much, and he was an absolute SAINT. He’s absolutely amazing , so inviting, and just a joy to be around. Thank you so much TJ for everything you did for us, you made our dreams come true!!! Best wishes in your career!!
If you want a camper at a reasonable price, come here. Dont expect any customer service. The employees that are sitting at a monitor keep their eyes on the monitor. No acknowledgement of your existence. We found our truck 300 ft away from the camper that we bought. No one told us anything. No communication at all. We even tried to call from our camper but were told to leave a message.. When my husband asked what was going on he was told to go have a cold water. The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. Bring Tums!
So i didnt get a chance to speak to a manager when i picked up the truck due to it being late in the day but i certainly wanted to have a moment to ask how i was quoted a price of $2900 to replace a heater core and not until i called and asked around for pricing at other GMC dealerships did i realize it should only be about $1650 for the job. I called back to Holman and asked for an explanation. After some deliberation between the service manager and upper mgmt there it was decided the number of hours to perform the job was quoted too high and the quote was adjusted. I have to say thats a really huge miss!!! At the end of the day I was able to get the warranty to cover the cost (there was a dispute as to if it would be covered or not) but thats not the point here. I was facing this as if i had to pay this out of pocket and felt like i was getting the quote required for the work. Not until i called around and asked about it (my own time) did i find i was getting screwed on this quote. I own a company and a services company at that. If i quote a client over by 40% I can lose clients quickly. I am an extremely busy person and very loyal to people who shoot me straight. I dont have time to shop around and check up on things like this for what i feel is a reputable dealer. I was very disappointed to say the least!
All started out well bought a toy hauler bought an extended warranty, bumper to bumper says Mr Stagbauer you wont regret it. Last fall just 2 years in on my big investment floor in the garage area is all soft and spongey, no problem i bought a great warranty. NOT covered they say, bumper to bumper i say, not today youre on your own they say. Camper stored inside both winters and well taken care of. Floor is so bad now i had to lay plywood down to use it till i have time to fix myself. Is it the dealers fault that it leaked wherever, probably not, but they are not interested in going to bat for me against Keystone. Moral of the story is if I had kept my extended warranty money in my pocket I would have enough to repair floor buy lunch and beer for the 2 or 3 days im going to spend doing it and still take a great trip for a couple weeks. I can honestly say having been in business all my life as the son of the owner or the owner (5 businesss) if i sold my customer a new machine and it didnt perform i would be out of business. Just beware the extended warranty is pretty much useless and while they have gifted salesmen, they are NO help after you leave the lot. Bye bye baby and no its not covered.
Jim was my service advisor. I told him that I had noticed one of my mirrors was a different color from the rest of the car and he came out and looked, called the body shop over and they said they would fix it no worries. So far this is the easiest interaction I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I go home after every visit and am incredulous that things are so easy.
As a Kentucky resident, I checked every GMC dealership in the state of Kentucky for the GMC Acadia that I wanted. No one in the state beat Holman’s price. They offered the best price, haggle free. It’s good to find a dealer who is honest and you don’t have to worry about getting ripped off. I will be back to Holman for my next vehicle.
I purchased a vehicle and noticed a day later that it had a problem with the air i was told to bring it back( thanks Tom & Matt ) there i was introduced to the service department that worked directly with me while supplying me with a loaner vehicle so I wouldnt be to inconvenience these guys worked day in and day out to get to the bottom of the problem I was having, I just want to Thank Gary and Chris and their Crew for the concern and respect for me as a customer to not let me leave the lot with a faulty vehicle I respect the effort and now Im enjoying my vehicle, Thank Holman Motors
I came in to test drive a vehicle was out on road drove the 2008 Ford f250 then came back to speak with the sales man to find out it was priced incorrectly for the 2nd time and it wasnt even serviced yet so ok you made a mistake that was not the customer fault. You wait till I test drive and I come back waste my day time and gas because someones not doing there job. Then to add insult to injury you cant find anything else or own up to a mistake that not only happend once but twice that is very bad for business.
Bought a truck a few years ago and just bought a new camper this year. They usually have a very good inventory and are pretty good about getting you through all the paperwork in a decent amount of time. The salesman we had (Ryan) for the camper seemed a little distracted but once we got to the finance people it all went pretty smoothly. The gentleman that did our walkthrough could use a bit more training as well. Said he actually had never been camping before. Really? He knew a few things about the camper but not more than the brochure could tell us. He flushed the toilet, that I could see was leaking. Told him it was leaking. He says oh really? while he continued to flush the toilet. I said yeah it is leaking all over my floor. He says Really? once again. Finally stopped flushing after a couple more seconds. Nice guy but seems a little numb. Tech came out and replaced the part. Only took maybe another 45 minutes or so after our walkthrough to get part located and replaced. One of the better RV dealers in the area and they move a lot of units. I am sure I will continue to do business with them in the future.
Still peved about HOLMAN Motors advertising one price and then when I expressed interest in that truck they raised the price of the truck by $1000 even though it was advertised both in the GMC website and their website. Was stated that they could because if I didnt buy it someone else would I thought ADP added dealer profit was banned especially if they were advertising a price without the ADP listed. pretty much BS but I had been looking for this truck for awhile and wanted it vs ordering a customer order truck. pretty much would not recommend anyone to buy from them.On a good note TJ was the best, it wasnt TJ who changed the price it was completely the sales manager. He told TJ that was how it was going to be. take it or they would sell it to someone else. All I can say is short term selling without any regard for the customer will cost you in the long run both in Cincinnati and Columbus where I am from.Best of luck to him on his sales skills and customer satisfaction skills. notAgain, TJ was great this was not on him.
Buyer beware! After we signed on the dotted line, they had no use for us. The day RV was to be delivered to us it was not ready even though they had a week to get it prepared upgrades we pre-purchased were not installed as agreed, it had no functioning breaks, the service adviser blew me off about it and sent me on my way. I made the repairs myself on the way home. We ask for help multiple times with no response, the sales rep was advised of the situation and his reply was the sales staff is not supposed to talk to service staff. Great business plan... We ran into problems with titling the RV and again, no help. We will never go there in the future and will never recommend. Even the RV manufacturers said they had a bad reputation as far as customer service goes.
They really took care of me when I visited for a strange battery issue on a brand new 2500 not purchased from them. They got me into a loaner and ended up keeping my truck for 3 days to ensure the problem was solved correctly. Most other places would have handed the truck back after the first day with the problem not fixed after it tasted good on the initial pass!
The ads from Holman are either false or phishing scam for prospective leads. I had contacted them via online search regarding one specific truck. Then proceeded to communicate with a salesman about a test drive only to discover (upon arrival after a 40 minute drive) they had sold the truck 4-6 HOURS earlier that day. Also when I arrived the salesman was not there. When I asked to see a manager the gentleman I spoke to told me he probably wont come out to talk to you. When he finally did, he greeted me with no regrets or apologies specific to the misleading tactics of his salesman. You wanna see another truck?, he proceeds to ask....No thanks! Youve wasted enough of my time. If you want to find a dealer that sees customers as people not just a lead to a sale, please look elsewhere.
The buying process was easy, pleasant and smooth. Getting the car ready for pickup (detailing) was really quite poor. The first time, the passenger seat had black markings all over it. It cleaned up easily, but should not have been presented to us. After it came back from cleaning and we were going over the vehicle technology, the back seats and floor had coffee or some dried up liquid all over it. There was pieces of the plastic protections in several areas. There was even the paint marking on the windshield(how Holman tags their vehicles). At first, I thought is was bird droppings. Instead of going back to detailing, the sales man took care of the final clean up himself and apologized a thousand times over for the poor presentation.
I had been looking for a newer camper for over a year. Too expensive down here. I found Lauren on the internet at Holmans website and she performed a miracle!! You dont know how much my family has been through the last 2 yrs. So to say Lauren was the the most awesomest person I have ever met met is an understatement!!. I loved my whole experience with Holmans. From beginning to end. You will come highly recommended!!
We had a great sale person TJ Hudak for one. There was no pressure into buying a vehicle which was a big factor. All the questions I had was answered and we felt really comfortable with the dealership. Pricing was good. We loved the vehicle we purchased. The biggest factor into purchasing the vehicle there was not just the price , but our salesperson Tj made us feel comfortable with everything. Everything was relaxed and not pressured and it was the best experience we have ever had at a dealership.
We went here to look for a fifth wheel. We found one that we liked and considered seeing it with the slides out. When I called to request the science be pulled out the salesman, Craig, was very rude and asked me how I knew they werent. When we met him in person I thought maybe he would be nicer but he definitely was not. We were prepared to pay cash for the unit but his attitude made us leave the lot.
Went to purchase a new truck and never disclosed they raised the price $1,000 over MSRP to jam people. Went and bought same truck $3,000 under MSRP They have raised all prices on trucks and SUV’s at the dealership to $1,000 over MSRP. Please look around before buying.
Horrible experience . Bought a 40k truck. Second day I had it starts having transmission issues. Turns out truck was never even inspected before it was sold. Bring it back and wait another week for it to be fixed. Total lack of communication or care for the customer once the sale was done. I had to either keep calling or drive back out there to get updates on the repair. At the end when I picked up truck, not so much as even a couple oil changes or anything was even offered for the inconvenience. Just a hey your truck is done, oh by the way we left it dirty and empty on gas too. Never again will I buy from Holman or recommend them to anyone.
I am frustrated because my car was making a noise that they kept for a week to look at and I ended up paying a few hundred dollars for something and when I got my car back it’s still doing the same thing. I’ve tried to take it back so they can listen to it again but not finding time when the mechanic is available. So I’m very stressed out about my car!!
I love that I bought my car at a dealership that cares about the customer, over and over! I never dread coming in for service because it’s always an easy experience and the workers, especially all the guys up front who take great care of me ( and my kiddos!) every time we are there! Thank you!
Holman motors has always been a place I like to go. I used their service department many times. Most recently I had a serpentine belt replaced and a couple of tires. Even though Im driving a Honda they always service me and do good work. They also will allow me to get a loaner vehicle if the maintenance requires so.I really like the customer service and their staff. I take most of my work their and have even consider purchasing a car their in the future. The only reason I havent is because I prefer Honda or Toyotas. I go to their service department here, because I prefer their customer service.
They wanted me to negotiate a price before test driving a 2002 Ford Thunderbird... who does that? They said because its on the showroom they had to have a commitment, right! I have never had a dealership give me this song and dance ever in my 50 years or driving.. They lost a cash sale if I liked the vehicle, but, now well never know. I will and would advise to avoid dealing with shady dealerships like this.. PERIOD! Now lets wait for there BS response...
My wife and I purchased a 2020 GMC Terrain a few months ago and unfortunately someone hit the back of the vehicle causing alot of damage. Sales did a excellent job and Bob in the body shop did a excellent job getting the car back in service. I have found over the years dealerships dont have a good sales department and body shop but GMC Hollman does. Thank you and I will recommend you guys.
Fantastic dealership! My experience with Holman Motors was wonderful. I had been to a lot of dealerships, and they were by far the best in terms of friendliness and prices. Andrew was a superb salesman, and I would definitely love to work with him again. I recommend to all my friends and family. Purchasing a vehicle can be stressful, and I never once felt pressured or uncomfortable at Holman Motors. It was honestly a lovely experience.
Sales person was nice but I did not feel he gave me any priority or personal experience. The used car I went to see was a mess and I didn’t get good vibes from the dealership. Also I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes and never got greeted. Had to walk on someone’s office to get help. I purchased a car that day from another dealer.
I had my eye on a convertible they posted. I called to make sure it was still available, it was... so the next day (today) my dad and I drove up with full intention on purchasing the vehicle. When we were up there we though, oh this looks big and nice, this should be a good experience... not. No sales person comes out to greet or help. Their used cars, hell all of their cars are spread out and there is no signage.. when I went in to ask for someone, I was then told that the car had a lot of issues and it’s going to auction. Well being that we made the drive, we browsed around and found the convertible I was looking for. Doors were open, keys were in it... so we started it up, out the top down and went on our own test drive. It drove and worked wonderfully! I then called Holman motors to see if I could get more info, and the guy says “we have over 200 used cars, I don’t know”I don’t believe anything that I was told by anyone at this place! I don’t even know if they sell cars because they damn sure weren’t tryin to sell to me while I’m walking around with 8,000 cash. I am very dissatisfied.
Danny was fantastic..salesman. A ten in not pressuring bit supporting my decisiontl go forward. Jared in walk thru woth actual camper. Ten. He now is moving to security. He is a team player. Fantastic. Ron who helped show me hook up on mechanics I assume. 10. The extra mile is his middle name. Zack. Computer tech. 10. Helped with cameras for camper. So so good. Hayden a big fat zero. Was my contact to set uo walk thru at desk. Rude and a dud. Acted like I had done something wrong wjen actually Im easy going and was excited. He almost ruined experience for me. Hes a big fat zero. Rest great.
Had an awesome buying experience with Eddie. From start to finish he was on top of everything from answering questions to providing information for us. We bought our first brand new RV and couldn’t be happier with Holman Motors and the service they provided. Thanks guys and go see Eddie!!
I was involved in an accident that was the other persons fault but got the run around by the small town police department where it happened. After waiting a month for them to review video, it was still ruled no fault. I started a claim with my insurance company but they only paid about half of the actual damages. I contacted the body shop manager with my dilemma and he said No worries, I have it from here. A few days later he contacts me back and says he has my parts and to bring my car in. After telling him that I dont carry rental car and I would have to wait until my second car was done getting some work done; he said I can put you in a loaner. He met me at my work place and exchanged cars. My car was done in half the time expected and it looks PHENOMENAL! I was so frustrated with the whole situation until he took over and completely took over. I am incredibly grateful! Fantastic folks to work with!
This is the 3rd new vehicle I have purchased at Holman Motors. Despite clearly laying out my expectations for the process there were multiple mis-steps and gaps in communications. My sales associate was fine, tried hard and was friendly, but was inexperienced. My experience with the sales manager was poor. His communications with me were sub-standard and I expect the support he provided the sales associate was lacking as well which lowered the quality of my experience even more. Im not sure I will be back for a 4th vehicle.
I just recently inquired about a truck the salesman Craig that got back sent me computer picture of the truck asked him for info on truck took me texting him back if he got the info for me. He sends me a picture of a completely different truck then informs me that they had taking the after market rims and tires off because they were junk, so I decided to call dealership and ask about the truck guy I spoke with informs me that it needs a new transmission so overall Craig is not a good salesman so if you go in and have deal with him I recommend requesting someone else. Because of him I will be taking my business else where!
The dealership is terrible. The employees are very rude and they do not care about the customer once the vehicle leaves their lot. The manager is extremely rude. The financing part was shady and misguiding. They did not explain me the hidden fees from the credit union and when questioned they would just say we cannot do anything. The owner of the dealership would just support his staff even when they have used misleading methods. Overall the customer service was very disappointing and I would advice to stay away from this dealership.
We stopped at this dealership 2 different times with horrible customer service. No one comes out and you have to go inside to get your questions answered. The sales people are put out with your questions and are unfriendly at best. Well purchase someplace else. So unfortunate to not be able to purchase locally.
The service is AWFUL! Paid a lot of money for a Ukonn XL (Brand New), side panels flew off, and they want to charge $600 because of a defect. They don’t stand behind their product and did nothing to get GM involved. Not willing to help at all. After we made our purchase, we were looking forward to buying in the future. We will not recommend this dealer to anyone, as we’d hate to mis-represent ourselves. This is not the first time we’ve dealt with the horrible service department.
If you plan on looking at anything used dont expect to be treated well. Customer service is shotty at best, reps are condescending and cant wait to get you off the phone. And you better be ready to empty your wallet! Cause they aint moving off their market valued sticker price. Ill take my money elsewhere but thanks for waisting my time! ;)
Very shady business practices from an experienced salesman.first off everything went fine we test drove a 2016 Maxima and We were very interested they almost had a guaranteed sale under the condition they would buff a scratch that went all the way down the side of the car, and replace the window tint that was very bubbled and change the oil that hasnt been changed in over a year and they agreed.I asked The reason for not doing maintenance to the vehicle before putting it on the lot The answer I got shocked to me they told me No Maintenance or testing is done until after a deal is made. That is backwards in so many ways. The negotiation and financing was done by the salesman the negotiation was very unfair the best I could get was - $350ish off from $20,650 ish+ other doc fees. was willing to anyway.Going to came down to financing where he then ran my credit,Before I signed off on the credit check I told him and even reiterated it saying run my credit once do not do anymore than that and he responded and acknowledged. after waiting 2 minutes I was notified from my app my credit was ran twice.Once from Holman Motors and again for a GE Credit union. He then came back to me and showed me what he had written down on a folder an offer for GE credit union which was the only thing he said they ran.(He lied or was lied to buy his co-worker he collaborated with in financing)Which was a the highest percentage rate for a customer with excellent credit he could get away.I still wanted the car and wanted to give him a chance.I knew something wasnt right I asked him to show me the offers and he would not let me see any paperwork only the probable financing terms I saw before running my credit. He then went on to tell me my credit score he lied to me and told me It was 50 points lower than it was.I told him I would get mine own financing through my bank that quickly ended the conversation he said he would have the car ready on Monday.I called My bank and then and they assured me my credit score was not what I was told by the salesman.I came back to do the purchase a week laterAnd I was told to come back Monday when the car would be fixed as we agreed. After work I came straight to purchase the vehicle and was very excited because I was going to surprise my wife.Instead I was surprised with only a car wash and no maintenance, none of the extensive scratches buffed out nor did the they touch the window tint done to the vehicle Im pretty sure they didnt touch it the whole weekend.I confirmed they had two keys and on our way to sign the paperwork I told him I noticed they had done nothing to the car and thats when he told me it is as is I then told him he would have to change the sticker price in order for me to fix those issues. He looked pretended to talk to his colleague and said he could not fix those issues and pretended he never agreed. At that point I didnt want to go through anymore this and I told them I could not make the deal unless there was a price change so I could fix the vehicle. He was so close to selling that car. Ive never in my life been so disappointed. They treat their cars like investments but they dont realize they only expenses.Over all Im very disappointed in Holman Motors sale/finance team especially when they say they have 30 years experience. At the same time I dont want want this to happened to me orhappen to any one else. When you Buy a Car you expect excellent Customer service and feel you were treated with respect even if you dont get a deal you were hoping for. Please consider reading all of the reviews negative or even positive ones mostly about oil changes and other departments. Dont make the mistake I did read the reviews.
This place is ok. Got a decent deal on a car but after the sale felt a little duped. Had a bad tire replaced before I bought it and found out afterwards the rim was bad also. messed up bad enough they had to have noticed. Actually 3 of 4 rims were bad. This however gave me the perfect reason to tell the better half why I needed nice shiny new rims. Dont believe Id go back.
Customer service at best is poor. I requested to be called kept in the loop that did not frequently occur. They had my RV for over two months and I missed three camping trips. Finally got it fixed after I kept pushing for answers… Then the service rep told me they had washed the inside and outside which was a complete lie! I didn’t ask for it to be washed so don’t make up the lie after two months when I come to pick it up… Unfortunately there’s nowhere else around here for RV service that is trustworthy I think this place could use some good competitionI even left a message for the manager Kevin and he never return my call
I don’t usually write a review unless I very satisfied, unfortunately this time I have to put it out there. I bought a used 2017 truck and I everything went good, got the truck right out of clean and I was on my way. I only received 1 key and 1 fob, so I called to see if they for got to give me the second set and they didn’t. I called to price a second one and it was ~ 45 for the key and ~ $95 for the fob ... then “quoted” another $75 for programming. I called to explain my concerns about paying another $200 dollars for a second key and fob that SHOULD be offered or at least disclosed at the time of the sale .... fast forward, Tom, the head of sales was very short with me and basically treated me like a customer that was sold a truck and the deal was done and I was wasting his time. I really feel bad for them and their idea of customer service. I’m sitting here now paying for a second key and fob that any GOOD dealership would offer in the first place. For $200 dollars they lost a customer and I will share this with anyone who ask me where I bought my truck.
Clean beautiful dealership. Staff is friendly but if you come in the cold be prepared to have to approach someone inside instead of them coming outside to you. Looked at a used truck, liked the truck so I went inside and talked to salesman. Ed Sutto was kind and gave me some more information on the truck. The dealer is quite hard to negotiate with but the truck was reasonably priced. Was told the truck needed to go through their inspection still and needed to be serviced which I was all for. Purchased the truck and which Ed was kind enough to come in on his day off make sure I got the truck that day. Was driving the truck home and then it went into a serious case of “death wobble” which if you don’t know what that is, just google the term. Got out, looked underneath the truck everything seemed to be where it should be and in place, no tires flat or anything but I called the salesman and I was really upset because they sold me a truck that had a safety issue that should have been found in their inspection process. During the test drive it was rush hour so I really couldn’t get on the interstate without being at a stand still but death wobble usually isn’t noticeable until above 50mph in most cases. But I called and Ed and asked him why they sold me a truck with said safety issue. I was called the following morning by the sales manager asking what exactly had happened and I explained what had happened with the truck. I had pulled the truck into my shop that morning and went over the front and found the steering stabilizer was bad and the passenger tie rod was bad and more than likely is what was causing the death wobble. The sales manager pretty much told me to either give the truck back and get a refund which I guess was nice enough for them to offer that at least or go $!@& myself as I took it because since I’m a mechanic I should be able to handle it. Which is more than true but those problems should have been found by service. They “serviced” the truck apparently which just means change the oil and oil filter to them for a 1 ton truck. No grease points were touched and fuel filters not replaced. So just beware for other buyers that you shouldn’t trust their definition of a “service “ which sales could have said and paid for just to have the oil and filter changed. As always with a used vehicle just check it out really well before you buy and have your trusted mechanic look at it. I should have noticed the bad tie rod when I first looked at the truck and I will take that blame but service should have found it too. Pretty happy with the truck other than that, replaced tie rod and steering stabilizer today and truck goes in for an alignment on Monday. Ed is a good salesman to work with and is really kind and helpful. Just didn’t have the greatest experience with the dealer overall.
Craig Chabot was our “sales rep” he’s terrible. Seems more concerned with telling stories of his alleged properties that he claims to own. We bought a brand new Denali truck from him and he basically held the showroom door for us after completing the paperwork, pointed to the truck outside in the dark and said there’s your truck. If you have any questions call me. So that part really sucked, but what made it worse was the next morning I looked out the window and the roof was covered in bird poop. Our service after the sale was more like there’s your truck. Now get the hell out. So we won’t be back. But the truck is VERY nice!!! Thank God for google so we can learn all of its features. Chabot, are you in the right career?
Very disappointed with our purchase.Drove 1,600 mile round trip to purchase a truck from this dealership. Before we left I asked the sales rep on the condition of the vehicle and if it has any issues mechanically or with safety.I was told the vehicle had passed inspections and everything was working fine with truck. I own the same truck so I am very familiar with the mechanics of this particular vehicle.I wasn’t going to go through all the trouble of traveling to their location if there were any issues because this was going to be another truck to be used for my business and I didn’t want to have this in a shop being repaired since we need it to pull trailers.Drove to Cincinnati, met with the rep, test drove the truck and everything seemed fine. Good looking truck as well, very clean.Purchased the vehicle for $18,500 and drove home that evening. Arrived home the next day and took it to our diesel repair shop to have the oil changed and have an inspection.Long story short, the truck had two cracked heads and gasket issues. Also on the way home the manual transmission was starting to grind and get difficult to shift gears when we would pull into the station to fuel. When I would reach speeds of 75mph the truck would shake very hard and I thought it was a tire unbalanced but found out it was the ball joints that were about to come apart.I purchased the truck on the 17th of June. I picked it up from the repair shop about a week ago after it needed a new motor for over $15,000 installed. The brakes and rotors were shot as well and I’ve had that replaced also.Still need to take it in for the transmission and the ball joints and tie rod ends. It’s going on August, still can’t use it for work, I’m almost $20,000 in repair cost, almost same amount I’ve paid for the truck. Before I signed the paperwork I asked if we were to have any issues with this truck and how would they resolve this matter. The response was “ WE WILL WORK WITH YOU ON IT”I spoke to the sales manager about what the issues going on and he replied, “ YOU MADE IT HOME, IT IS AS IS, THIS IS THE END OF THIS CONVERSATION” and he hung up on me.I’ve been polite and patient throughout this entire process and I have never written a review to a place of business but felt I needed to share my experience with Holman auto.I understand this was “ AS IS” but also this vehicle was heavily misrepresented in its condition.I’ve ran a construction business since 2008 and could never imagine handling an issue with a client in such a manner.I don’t know what to expect out of this but I’m truly disappointed with this company and I’m still unable to use this truck until all the repairs are completed.Just beware and don’t believe everything you’re told. Some people just want to make a sale. The most valued and respected quality is building a reputation on absolute integrity.
Absolutely thrilled I chose Holman Motors. TJ my sales consultant was outstanding. Couldn’t have been more communicative and helpful with buying a car. Worked very hard to get the financing that I wanted. And always kept going no matter how arduous the quest. Thanks again. Will highly recommend Holman in the future to anyone looking for great sales experience. You will get it!
They actually called me to remind me that I have free service available for my new truck. I thought that maybe I did but didnt remember and got busy and didnt call to check but they took the time to reach out and the timing was perfect. The service is excellent and the truck has been great!
First off I would like to say my experience with Holman motors was excellent. Even with the place being under renovation the place was still clean and organized and kid friendly. Jason Gray was are sales representative and he is one of a kind. Best sales rep I have had in a while. He was kind friendly polite. Did not pressure me on any situation. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a car.
My experience with this dealer has been a complete nightmare. Let me start this story by saying I was planning to buy my first car ever at this dealership and had no prior experience. This horror show started, June 9th when I saw a posting for a $6140 car I was interested in. I called to see if the car was available to test drive. The price after my phone call changed to $6254.Despite this, I gave the dealer the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. I went to test drive the vehicle twice, once on June 17th and once more on the 20th. The first time I went to test drive the vehicle I noticed a huge dent that had not been captured in the photos online. The dealer confirmed the damage had been done on the lot, it was their responsibility and told me the vehicle would go to the body shop that Friday (June 19th). I also noticed the car didnt seem to be maintained at all. Yet, despite this I told him I was interested in buying. The second visit (June 20th), I noticed the car was not fixed and was not in the shop. The dealer told me it would be sent Monday. Monday (June 22nd) I called to see if the vehicle was in the body shop because I was interested in buying it and needed to know its availability to take it for a pre-purchase inspection. The dealer informed me that they wouldnt put any work in to the vehicle until they knew all the maintenance that needed to be done on it.Stupidly instead of walking away, I went that Wednesday (June 24th) to my scheduled pre-purchase inspection. It was the soonest my mechanic could squeeze me in. I went only to find out this vehicle has been sitting on the lot for ages, never was maintained during that time, didnt have a working emergency brake, some of the safety lights were broken and a few other minor issues. I went back to the dealership and shared my mechanics report with them letting them know that the car was not entirely safe to drive. They told me they would have the issues fixed and put it in the body shop.I waited 5 business days for a maintenance report and heard nothing. The dealer originally told me the car would be ready Tuesday(June 30th) or Wednesday(July 1st) which was generously a week after inspection. I cleared my schedule that week to make another trip down to get the car. Wednesday I called to ask about the maintenance because I needed a car before the holiday. They told me it wasnt going to be finished till Friday. When I asked to talk to a manager, the manager rudely told me they had other vehicles in the shop that were priority, they had to order parts and it was my fault the body work wasnt done sooner because I had taken so long to do the pre-purchase inspection. July 3rd, late afternoon before close, I was notified they had finished maintenance. I notified the dealer that due to the holiday, I was not readily available to wrangle a ride down to Cincinnati to get the car inspected again. He seemed to understand.July 7th the dealer called me angry I had not come down to purchase the vehicle. We have done everything youve asked. What will it take for you to buy this car? I communicated to him again, that my availability was limited that week as was my mechanic. He tried to convince me I didnt need another pre-purchase inspection. Shaken and very upset at this point, I turned this idea down.Thursday night (July 9th) I went online to the listing to get the address for the trip down, only to see the price for the vehicle had shot up to $6998, which was several hundred dollars above the Kelly Blue Book fair market price range for the vehicle. During my week and a half waiting for maintenance to get finished, I had shopped around and discovered other dealerships that didnt seem to have an attitude towards me and sold the same car in much better condition for much less. Suffice to say, I did not buy the car. At the end of the day it feels good to know my money (no matter how little it is compared to a larger priority sale) went to a deserving dealer and not Holman Motors. Please learn from my mistakes and dont shop here.
These jerks ran me 30 miles to look at a junk Cadillac they described on the phone as in top condition for an 8 year old car. We waited over 30 minutes in showroom upon arrival as no one could find the car??? Finally found it in RV service garage, took it for test drive (SRX model), bad brakes, steering pulled to the left, and dash board lit up like a Xmas tree!!! Lucky to make it back!!! They claim to have been fixing it when we arrived. Upon closer inspection it was ate up with rust under the plastic body armor. A respectable dealer would send this to auction or junk yard!
Dillon, our sales guy did an excellent job finding us the best loan company to fiance our 2016 GMC Denali, as Dillon put it; Cadillac of trucks we had to go in for service a couple of times..everyone at Holmans is professional, courtesy and they all SMILE, you cant beat that! Also Dillon knew we plan on buying a travel camper in the future he didnt hesitate to show us all the beautiful ones Holmans carrys...we spent over 4 hrs at Holmans that day we purchased our Denali we had fun buying from Holmans! it wasnt stressful like most dealership make it.
My husband and I would like to take a second to praise the staff of Holman RV. We purchased a new 2019 Keystone Hideout from Holman, and could not be more pleased with the entire process. Our salesman, Ryan A., did a phenomenal job of walking us through everything, answering all our questions, and making sure we had everything we needed to make our 4 hour trip to pick up our camper. Ryan was very professional and pleasant throughout the whole process. Before we left, we had a few minor issues which the staff were very quick to fix. Ron, the RV sales manager and Ryan addressed our issues perfectly and professionally. Shoutout to Wendy in finance as well, she was super helpful! Not only was this the best customer service experience I’ve had buying anything, but their prices were hands down the best. We could not be happier that we chose Holman RV! Well worth the trip we made. Thank you!
I purchased a h3 hummer here and the mileage odometer does not work. After I noticed I called back and got the old you bought it as is. Two lessons learned, when taking a vehicle for a test drive make sure the mileage odometer works and do NOT BUY at Holmans they knew about this and should have been up front and honest from the start. My mileage odometer is now the same as what it was on the papers when purchasing.
From Start to Finish; our experience at Holman Motors was an A+. My wife and I were looking for an SUV and we started our process with Ed Sutto on Saturday, March 30th. We were there from 10-5. We had a ton of questions and not much experience in buying an SUV. Sunday we spent some time at other dealerships test driving a few other SUV models. Monday we came back to Holman Motors to continue our research and again work on finding ourselves the perfect SUV. After many hours, again, we made our decision and purchased a 2019 Acadia.During this whole time, Ed was the utmost professional. He was patient, he was honest, he was knowledgeable. He never pushed us to make a decision and he never showed any signs of impatience or loss of interest. We really felt at ease during this very big decision and long process. It was well worth doing the research and it was well worth coming back to Holman Motors. Thanks Holman Motors and Ed Sutto for putting my family in the SUV that we wanted! We will be back, again, in the future!
Originally I was very happy with my experience. It was relatively smooth and quick. Unfortunately, after I got the vehicle off the lot and home, it had issues. Issues I would have no idea of beforehand and of course were not brought to my attention. Additionally, the manufacturers warranty expired just weeks prior so the issue could not be solved this way either. I now feel as though the original experience was smooth and quick because they wanted the vehicle off the lot ASAP. I also emailed the dealership expressing my frustration and was never contacted to discuss the issue. Unfortunate experience.
We bought a Buick Enclave from Holman this past weekend. In the past, I havent had a great experience with buying cars from other dealerships, but all that changed this weekend with TJ at Holman Buick. Not only is the car perfect for my family, but TJ made the buying process as smooth as possible. In the past, Ive always felt like the salesman and dealership were trying to get something past me and screw me over with trade-in, financing, add-ons, etc. With TJ, he took the time to hear me out regarding my thoughts on our trade-in and the price of the new car, while also explaining the dealerships rationale for their offers. In the end, after a short, easy conversation, both of us agreed to a deal that worked for both sides. If you are looking for an honest, easy to work with salesman and dealership, I HIGHLY recommend TJ and Holman Buick. There is no doubt we will definitely go back the next time we are looking for a new car. Thank you TJ and Holman!
Very professional and courteous folks. Seamless drop off and pick up with great communication.Only issue was on my bill. Had the Gold Service then charged for parts and miscellaneous. The offer indicates that this should have been part of service and charge and wasnt noted on the work prelim order sheet.Only $20, but $20 is still $20, right?
We had our current truck totaled in a freak accident and had to get a replacement fairly quickly. After doing extensive research, we had it narrowed down to 2 trucks to check out. The first being at Holman. We arrive at the dealership and was looking at the vehicle awaiting for a salesman to arrive. After waiting several minutes, we called into the dealership to see if anyone was available and was told that if someone is interested, they normally come into thw showroom to get someone. That was Strike 1. We let it slide... We test drove the truck, we liked it. Decided to make an offer. We get into the showroom, find our salesman. On the way to the sales rep, another salesman was walking to him and said that truck is sold. Our salesman then repeated, that truck is sold. What???? Was someone else on the test drive with us??? Strike 2! We left kind of befuddled at what had just occurred. We stewed over it in the car on our way to the other dealership and decided to call and talk to the sales manager just to let them know of our less than pleasant experience and to see if thats their normal business practices. I talked to Tom, the sales manager. To summarize, he never apologized for any of it. He did apologize for the way that I, ME, felt about it. He said that when we were there test driving it, the other customer called in and said he wanted it. STRIKE 3In all my vehicle purchasing experience, I know that if I do not purchase the car when I am looking at it, there is always the chance that, if I do want it, it could be gone by the time I decided. In my opinion, that customer was a little too late. But whatever, they lost a customer. I hope this review is helpful to you as I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from them due their lack of customer service.THEYRE OUT
Went in to look at a truck we saw online. The vehicle looked nice in the pictures but once we got there we found the bed rails to be twisted, the bed out of alignment, dents and scratches all down both sides which were not visible in the pictures and a fairly major oil leak off the front of the motor. Waited 20+ minutes after asking for a sales person and after 30nseconds of talking was told thats the price it takes to buy it no negotiations.Worst part of this is someone who doesnt know better is going to get screwed by these people.
The staff at Holman motors is always helpful and knowledgeable. never have I felt like I was being rushed through a decision or process .I recently took my camper in for service and they were able to remedy all of my issues . They fixed a major issue that they would not have had to. They sold me the unit a year ago and we discovered the issue.I spoke to Mr. Holman and he agreed to split the nearly $2,000 repair. I was so happy and they will continue to get my business and recommendations.
I drove over an hour to look at a used vehicle I spoke to a sales person about the day prior. When I get there the vehicle has a check engine light, more than one external light out, and some other warnings on the dash. I am told it would be at least 3 days until its able to get into the shop and looked at. Then on top of that I got low balled on my trade. It was below blue book trade in value according to KBB, which was almost insulting. Zero negotiation on trade in the value or the used vehicles price. I wouldnt recommend buying used cars from here.
This place is massive and your free to roam, inspect and shop without a salesman bugging you to death. Yet if you need help they are easy to find buzzing around on golf carts. The staff seems friendly and professional and when you say you dont need help they respond with a smile and simple we are around if you need us.
If youre interested in one of their brands, dont waste your time going anywhere else unless you want to confirm you are getting a good deal. Shopping for a camper, I had another dealer laugh at me at the Holman price (ended up not buying a Holman brand) and with a new GMC (bought). No BS dealer.
Sales great Eddie was a great sales guy. However service not so much I dropped my camper off for service it was there for almost three weeks they told me a jack mount couldn’t be bent back when I got there to pick it up I looked at the mount and it still had all the paint on it so I was confused I asked the service manager what they tried to do to bend it back he says they put a porta power on it and pushed against the forklift and moved the forklift I said did you heat it his answer “No you can’t heat that it will heat transfer to the frame and weaken the frame” now I’m a diesel mechanic so I’m thinking about this you can’t cut it off with a torch because you’ll melt everything above and behind the frame and it takes to long. So you would have to cut it off with a plasma cutter that gets 40,000-50,000 degrees and to weld 3/8” steel to a 1/2” Frame your mig welder is going to be 10,000 to 18,000 degrees so a 1,200 degree torch that’s ever going to touch the frame will heat treat it. Ok whatever I’ll fix it myself but when I open it up I have wood all over looked like they accidentally put their boot thru the step come to find out a rodent got in there somehow my guess is from leavingThe underbelly open when they were working on the furnace now I can’t get this thing out of the camper. I recommend their sales department and parts are great but their service department doesn’t even comeClose to my standard.
Chris Ware took great care of us in the purchase and service of our vehicles. None of my vehicles will ever go anywhere else! Great customer service. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Cant say enough about Chris or the dealership as a whole. If youre looking to purchase a new car or RV your search ends here!
I brought my motorhome to Holman for two maintenance items. Despite being very busy with end of season customers, they were able to complete the repairs and get us on the road for our next trip. They also were extremely helpful in dealing with our awful extended warranty company. Thanks to Hayden and everyone at Holman Motors RV. You are awesome.
When we first came to Holman motors my wife and I were greeted by a super friendly person in the RV service department. His name was Chris Ware. Chris gave us all of the information we needed to make our buying experience the best we have ever had. He walked us through from start to finish and I would like to recommend Holman RV and their service department to anyone who is looking for customer satisfaction. Thanks Chris for everything. We will be back.
Worst place ever. I tried to buy a 47k camper and I had it all picked out and customized. The day to come pick it up was ready I was on my way to the bank to pick up my check for the camper and all of a sudden I get a call saying they dropped my camper totalling it. I rush over to the sales site and all I get told that I can ether wait 2 weeks or choose another camper... ya kno when u put that much into customizing your camper and having a dead line to move out you tend not to try to wait.. so I found one on craigslist for 17k and a couple 4 wheelers and a gater all for 22k I get a call the next day they (holmen) wanted me to spend 55k for the upgraded discounted car hauler lol. So instead of getting in a hassle with these folks go for cheaper used I guarantee you will not get a call saying they dropped ur camper
Very disappointed in this dealership! I spent 65k on a Toy Hauler and the sales aspect was very nice and easy, however service is a very different department… I had issues with one of my slides, I took my RV down for service and was told they were about two weeks out (which was not a problem) when I was contacted by service about two weeks later stating I had an issue that was going to cost 4,600.00 (non-warranty item) to fix I was given nothing but a run around. My service writer not only lied bold face to my wife while trying to figure out if they could do any better on the fix price,(stating he had already had conversations with me, that never occurred) he would not communicate as HE promised. We were told we would receive calls confirming pricing, or estimated dates and never received return calls as promised. I admit that we were very ready to just know what the fix was going to cost so we could simply ok the fix and move on thus being slightly impatient, however when we were told we would receive calls and never did I felt like we were begging Holman to take nearly 5k from us. Only after a rather heated conversation with my service writer did he confirm the price is what the price is. At that point I decided I’d spend my money with someone who was more concerned about me as a customer for the future and not a number to the bottom line. I’m very disappointed that we were not able to build a good working relationship with this dealer and can honestly say that service has definitely lost a future sale for this dealership, as well I will avoid them like the plague when it comes to service in the future. I will also make sure when friends and family ask I relay my disappointment in the lack of customer care. Simply put HORRIBLE customer service.Update, (09/27/16) As asked below by Holman I did send off an E-mail, as I figured I have to date heard nothing in return! Again another ball dropped!
I would like to give them five stars however after one hiccup in the road I bumped it to four stars. We drove from Seattle Washington to Ohio to purchase our new RV because they offered the best price and the best customer service prior to arriving. Lauren who walked us through purchasing the RV is very knowledgeable pleasant and kind to deal with . Service was awesome Chris in service was great. We drove our new RV five hours back toward Seattle parked for the first night and the AC would not come on. We tried to get it serviced in town and we tried to get a mobile tech out and did not get a lot of help from service at Holman. They told us you just keep calling around . Lauren directed our concerns to the owner who called us back and promised us priority if we brought the unit back to them to be repaired . After 2 nights in (that we didnt get reimbursed for) hotel we turned around and drove back five hours dropped off the unit and Chris In service brought it right in for repair it was done and we were back on the road in about two hours . Other than this it was a smooth experience and Lauren had exceptional customer service.
We are back in Florida after purchasing our second travel trailer from Holman Motors. The only difference with our experience this time was that we werent surprised at how pleasant it was. The $6,000 savings alone would justify the trip to Ohio, but the pleasure of dealing with real professionals is the best part. Our salesman, Eddie Holmberg, had already taken pains to make sure we knew what we were getting and what it would cost. We knew from our previous purchase what a great detail guy he is. Eddie got us coordinated with the Service Manager, Chris Ware, to schedule our walk-through. Finally, Ron, in finance, made sure that the transaction went through smoothly and effortlessly. The attention to detail from the entire Holman team exceeds anything we have ever witnessed elsewhere. These folks truly feel like family! Its obvious they enjoy their work and want your RV buying experience to be a pleasant one. Of course, the real acid test is how youre treated AFTER the sale. Im happy to report that those experiences have been equally pleasant for us.Their amazing prices are what bring folks to their door from all over the country, but their equally amazing customer service is what keeps folks coming back.If youre in the market for an RV, check these folks out before you buy!
Ive been to many dealers and this is definitely not my first car purchase. From the entrance no greeting from anyone in the sales dept. Other dealers offer you a seat, drink or ask who you are looking for, which I had to flag a salesman down myself to ask. Rusty the salesman was rude and escalated his voice really quick when I asked if he could do the sale price out the door cant do that! So I said thank you and if you guys change your decision give me a call, then replied That wont happen! With an attitude. Not willing to even negotiate and just completely shut down a very likely sale, even waited 2hrs from the test drive to finance approval. I dont recommend this dealership! And definitely Rusty does not know how to be a professional salesman!
Unwilling to help or work with as far as which product I needed and estimate labor fee - Could not get a person to walk out to my trailer and help me on which product I needed and labor cost - Went to another company small family owned - Owner came out looked at my trailer, went back inside and wrote up a quote - That easy - They got my business because he was willing to work with me and help me as far as what I needed - One person was willing to write up everything I needed - At Holman you have to go to the parts desk and get a price and then to the service desk to get a general pricing on their labor rates per hour but couldnt tell me how long it would take because they were unwilling to come out to the trailer to look at what I had - Sad sad sad
Recently purchased new Truck and Fifth Wheel from Holman. Outstanding customer service thru whole process. This company knows and makes every effort to provide outstanding customer service. The entire staff was great!Special Thanks to our Salesperson Ryan Cooper. His efforts and support is a benchmark for others.
They just dont come any better as an auto dealership, especially in service. I cant say enough praise about Gary, but the whole crew is great. I have some health issues and I do a lot of diagnostic in Feb. to see how that stands. If positive, we plan on buying in March.
I drove four hours and the transmission in this truck was no good they wanted me to pay almost 9000 and buy a warranty for a issue I brought to their attention from the test drive, salesman was perfect , very nice and professional ,experience was terrible broke my daughter ❤ I felt terrible , 4 hours in the rain didnt get back home til 11pm , their vehicle suck and on top of that I was told the truck road great dont advise anyone to buy a vehicle from here
If I could leave a no star rating for this dealership I would. They sold us the biggest, most dangerous lemon of a vehicle out there. A month after we bought the vehicle we had to replace the hemi engine because it blew up. When we called Holman they didn’t care and assumed no responsibility. We replaced the engine for almost as much as we paid for the vehicle. $$$ Then throughout our ownership we have spent thousands of dollars in repairs for large items. Finally we decided to trade it in (because we can’t afford to keep fixing it) knowing we are out a ton of money from repairs and upside down on what we owe...only to find out during trade-that the vehicle was involved in a massive head on collision leaving structural damage to the frame. Holman never disclosed this very serious piece of information and it is a miracle we were not involved in a serious accident. It scares me to think of what would have happened to my family in this vehicle. I have no other words than they are a pathetic, dishonest dealership. We are out a ton of money, but hopefully this prevents the same thing from happening to others.

2022-01-27Great experience at Holman. Stopped in at 530pm on a Friday night and was out by 830pm driving my truck home.I had messaged them earlier in the morning and received an email from Eddie Holmburg that the vehicle I was interested in was still available and that we could stop in around 530pm when we were off work to test drive it.Eddie was nice and knowledgeable. Hes a Steelers fan - so you gotta look past that, because he was great to work with and we did keep him and the finance guy there a little late that evening since they close at 7.Their service guys stayed a little late too and cleaned the truck up for us and had it ready for us by the time the paper work was done.Amazing people all around. Now that we have our truck we need to start looking at RVs. Thankfully Holman sells those too.

2022-08-05Jim, the service rep, was great. He explained the repairs and costs, he made suggestions and has a good sense of humor. He made the experience very pleasant. The work was done as quickly as could be expected. He actually quoted a price for the service that was lower than the actual cost and honored the original quote. Much appreciated. Thanks Jim. And thanks Holman Motors.

2022-05-05Everything was great, the vehicle was ready when we arrived and all the paperwork had been staged for a smooth seamless buying process. If I ever decide to trade in the Chevy truck a GMC will most definitely be taking its place

2022-07-29I drove 1 hour to look at a truck and no one seemed interested in my business. Took forever to talk to a sales person. Dont waste your time if driving long distance.

2022-08-04They sold me a car and lied about what was wrong with it as well as lying about them fixing the brakes before we bought it. had a serious issue and they told me it was “normal.” now i’m trying to get it fixed and it’s very expensive. don’t buy a car here at ALL. especially from rob.

2021-12-26I appreciate the Service department! The professionalism while still giving that home town feeling is awesome! They call the customers by name. I have never seen a disgruntled employee. I have had my RV serviced as well as my Traverse and everyone is typically smiling and friendly. The car wash at the end of the requested service is so appreciated.I have had my vehicles serviced at various other shops over the years and by far Holman Motors deserves my business!

2022-02-28Had turbo and exhaust manifold replaced under warranty. Turbo was fine they misdiagnosed it. Put new turbo on anyway. New turbo blows going down highway 6 months latter. They don’t want to cover it because I was out of warranty. Had to fight with them over that. Finally ended up paying them $400 dollars to cover something I already paid for. Few months later I hear my exhaust leaking by the turbo. No way I will take it back to them. I pull the tire off and find one turbo bolt backed out, one backed out hitting a oil line, and then some other bolt that looks like they found on the ground impacted into the manifold. Long story short, whoever worked on my truck should be fired for being dishonest and ignorant.
