Hilton Garden Inn ColumbusDublin in Dublin
Positive: Everything is AMAZING! It is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is welcoming with its ample room and fireplace. The staff goes above and beyond for each guest. The rooms are lovely, clean and so comfortable. The area is safe and near delicious restaurants. Negative: I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. I wish I could live there!
The staff was friendly at checkout. The main entryway and lobby has a new concept design that is open and welcoming. The outside parking area was clean. The hallways are old with faded carpet, could use a good deep clean. The room was clean and had what was needed for a one night stay. The beds were some what comfortable nothing to write about but the pillows were something from hell. 2 floppy pillows were made into one and still no comfort. The pool area was nice, small but the kids couldnβt be heard from outside the room. Check in and checkout was simple and effortless. The hotel is clean just some things you can tell are outdated or repurposed such as furniture. I would stay here again. Itβs hard to pick a hotel when itβs right in the middle of 5-6 hotels right in the same complex. Downside was breakfast was $12 for an adult,,, outrageous in my opinion when other hotel chains offer free simple breakfast.
I had the pleasure of staying here while my Friend was getting married. Overall my stay had no issues and the price was quite reasonable. The REALLY treat for me however was the breakfast and let me tell you I did not expect it to be as good as it was! I love potatoes and whoever was in the kitchen deserves a raise because they were perfect! The staff and everything was nice too.Anyway thank you for making my stay as easy as it was!
The folks that maintain this property have done a great job in keeping it looking pretty much new. Great friendly staff and cheerfully decorated lobby for the holidays. Wish bar would have been open Friday and Saturday night, but luckily I come prepared. Downtown Dublin is just minutes away with loads of shops and restaurants. Enjoyed my stay, so did my Aunt.
+ Staff was very friendly and for a night with our family of four it was fine.- We stayed one night on Christmas Eve (2021) and were in the room for less than 13 hours, mostly sleeping. We checked out around 9am on the morning of the 25th and were told the cleaning crew would be off until the 26th. Apparently a strong smoke odor was discovered on the 26th and we were billed the $250 smoking fee for the room. We did in no way smoke in the room. We were not notified of this charge until we were paying on our credit card four days later. We called to address this with the manager and were told there would be no avenues to address this grievance on their end and we would need to take it up with our bank.We are now trying to discern the next step as this charge is high enough not to overlook. Very frustrating.
We stay here once a year for Big10 football games. Without notice or notification they filled in their hot tub- signage in hotel still advertises hot tub. You have to pay $25+ for a decent breakfast. Toilet was broken in room, one large bath towel provided for a room of 4 confirmed guests, found uncleanliness in rooms showers, floors and counters. No do not disturb sign offered to hang on the door. Noise complaint at 10pm. For the price you pay to stay at the Hilton and other Hilton quality places we have stayed in- this location it isnβt worth your money.
Ive been dreading doing a review on thee Hilton Garden Inn..in Dublin Ohio....my company paid for 1 whole week...but i was locked out of my paid room... the receptionist said ..did you check out... a paid in advance week- room....wow... also out of over 100 tv in this place... you guessed it... my TV didnt work..cable cords was jacked up.. had to fix it myself...besides all the strange looks from the front desk people... thinking... someone wants to steal there snacks from there little shopping area...so they charge your credit card... just for stepping in this over rated place... even if you go to the grocery store and buy your own snacks... they still charge your card..$25.. its nothing like it used to be... nice and clean isnt in their vocabulary... over rated dump... I told my company to book me at the quality inn.... never again... they missed out on big money....I just felt very uncomfortable like I was being watched and I didnt sleep well there.. I sleep like a baby at the quality inn... friendlier people..now I have five more coworkers here with me at the quality inn in obetz oh..sorry about your luck Hilton...oh and we will be in obetz until January for work..
Iβve stayed here several times. This stay was horrible. Management failed to honor the rates listed on the Hilton website. She claimed they were unaware of the special. She took pictures of my phone - with the confirmation email and texted it to another manager. I stood waiting while they tried to figure out what to do. Then they overcharged me and could not figure out how to adjust the balance correctly. I was at the desk for a total of 2 hours and still walked away with wrong charges to my account. There is a much nicer hotel around the corner!!! Save your time and avoid the anxiety.
Hotel website states that the restaurant is opened from 5 to 10pm. When I arrived at 6pm on a Thursday the restaurant was closed. I could have eaten at the airport prior to arriving if I had known.I was not told nor does the website at the time of booking state that the rooms are not cleaned daily. I returned back to the room the first night smelling my delivered pizza remains.I had to get my own toiletires, i.e. shampoo that had run out from the front desk.On my last night I brought in Chinese and was seated in the area where breakfast was served, but told I couldnt eat there because the bar was open. There was no bartender at the bar. There were no guests at the bar. In fact there was no one in the lobby except front desk staff. It would have been cheaper to stay at an extended stay hotel for the same level of services.
Positive: Staff was at the desk, available and friendly. Negative: The hotel was expensive and little details were clearly run down. For the price no complimentary breakfast was not up to standard. Was overpriced for the experience. Not much different from an extended stay place except the room was smaller.
Front desk staff extremely patient and helpful..however the pool area has whirlpool/pool sign(only.pool) bar/restaurant not open on a weekend night vending/ice....just ice....the decor could be touched up...the room was NOT clean...makeup on pillow before I even touched the bed....walls in bathroom peeling paint and dirty walls ....no perks...good location close to mall and easy to get around ...overall very dissatisfied with my stay at Hilton and I use Hilton often
Customer service and no modifications/cancellation any time policy is b.s. but the people at the hotel were great. I just suggest you not pre-pay for it or they screw you. But the hotel was very nice, continental breakfast wasnt free so I didnt do it but it seemed pretty normal quality.
Stayed on 8/13/21 and I wasnβt impressed. The room we had was 2 queen beds, but the room itself was tiny and cramped. The edges of the floors and carpet were not detail cleaned. The AC unit was set for 70 but the room temperature fluctuates from 67-74 all evening. The curtains left a large gap when we tried to fully close them and bright lights shined in. Bathroom walls were filthy under the sink, and the toilet hardly flushed. Had to run the faucet for 5 solid minutes to get hot water. Public rest rooms downstairs were very dated, need a deep cleaning and proper stocking of paper products and soap. The in room coffeemaker was a Keurig- but they only offered off-brand strange k-cups and the one I tried didnβt taste very good. The hotel did not advertise that it wasnβt serving food. The manager told me the kitchen was closed because there was a lack of staff. When are places going to give up on this nonsense and start paying decent wages to attract workers? Ppl arenβt going to work for scab wages anymore and I canβt blame them. This doesnβt excuse you from properly staffing your hotel. The charge with taxes was $157 a night. What a rip off!!! Tiny room, hastily cleaned, no food or beverages to speak of except water and snacks. No breakfast except pre packaged high sugar junk. The pillows were far too soft, the linens were showing their age with stains, and I doubt anyone was disinfecting high touch surfaces properly. If you canβt properly staff your hotel and maintain proper sanitary standards you should not be allowed to operate and certainly should not be allowed to charge exorbitant rates for a sub-par room.My advice is to skip this hotel because their are several in the area and nothing to make this one stand out at all. I expect better from the Hilton chain but clearly their standards have dropped.
Positive: Quiet location with easy access to freeway. Great small village with restaurants, ice cream parlors, pizza shops, and regular grocery stores very close by (1/2 mile). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The shower was great: hot with good flow. Negative: Mini fridge needed defrosting. That was minor because the overall experience was excellent.
We had a great experience at this hotel. My boyfriend and I got the jacuzzi suite. It was very relaxing. It had jets, a TV right beside the whirlpool, and a large mirror. Also 2 robes hanging for us when we got out, and nicely folded towels. It was just awesome! We also went down to the indoor pool and enjoyed ourselves for a while. It was fun. Our room was very clean as well. Hotel has a great location with the mall right across the street and nice restaurants everywhere. Only complaint is the pillows were absolutely AWFUL. Didnβt get much sleep when we were there.
Lack luster room -- There was a yellow ring around the tub and the mini fridge smelled like mildew. The curtains were broken so I had to clip them shut with hair clips. I arrived later in the evening with my two small children and just wanted to put them to bed. If we were staying more than two nights, I definitely would have asked to switch rooms, but it just wasnt worth it. We usually stay at the Marriott but decided to give a different hotel a shot. We absolutely will not be staying here again.
Booked through travel site and apparently they do not value these type of customers. Apparently, an adult and a teenager reservation equals a king bed to share. Pool reservations were booked for 24 full hours. Breakfast was pretty weak. Stains on walls in bathroom. Check in pretended to add my Hilton Honors points to my reservation. Safe area gives it an additional star. Would not stay here again!
I loved our stay!Every single staff member has been truly amazing and the kindest people Iβve met! They made us feel comfortable and gave our dog all the lovings! The rooms are spacious, very clean, and felt safe staying during Covid. They had a safe grab and go breakfast!Sad weβre checking out!
Have stayed here several times for family vacations to the Columbus Zoo. The proximity to restaurants and stores is great, its easy to get to, and its a quick drive from here to the zoo. The rooms are always clean and Ive never had bad service. There is an indoor pool that has always been well maintained every time we have stayed. The breakfast is great too.One of the reasons I chose this hotel originally was for the room sizes. I had looked at pictures of rooms online looking for a room I could comfortably place a pack n play in and not have it be in the way. There was plenty of space for that in both the single room we got the first time, and the double room we booked when we came back again with grandma. I hope this is useful for other parents looking to travel to the area.
This hotel is very close to I-270, which is convenient for travelers. The staffs were friendly. The room (two queen beds) was big enough, and was clean. However, the only table in the room was shaky and barely standing. The air conditioner did not function well. The bathroom sink faucet lever was a bit stiff. We checked in quite late at night, and decided not to bother to ask to change to a different room because we were only there overnight. Tip: before you unpack your luggages, check all major things that might cause troubles for you.
Got a great deal on this hotel through hotwire. Hotel you can tell has recently been redone and is appealing to the eyes. The service was excellent! This may not be the ritz but service is priority here and you can tell. I commend the management and staff on a job well done.
Rented this room because it stood out for having a pool, bar, and breakfast. We were throwing a Bachelorette party and slept here for the night hoping to come back to having those options. I understand the pandemic has changed things but they could take those options off the website or simply let you know when you book that those options arent available. Pool was broken, bar was closed and the breakfast consisted of some fruit and water. Ontop of that 2 of the outlets in our room were non functioning, there were waffle fries smashed on the floor when we walked in, the mini fridge wasnt cold, and our air conditioning unit was non functioning. The bathroom counters and shower was not clean, there was smudges and soap residue, during a pandemic you would hope rooms would be better sanitized. For a $95 room we could have gotten a much bigger suit across the street. I doubt if we will ever be back.
Staff is top notch. Had a rehearsal dinner there in meeting room and stayed in guest rooms. Menu was versatile and very well done by the kitchen staff and service staff. Meeting room used is ideal for events that size. Shelby was outstanding at implementing what my wife had in mind as she planned. And they were flexible so that the we could decorate to make the event special beyond the food and drink service.Guest rooms were immaculate. Best Ive seen in years of Hilton Hampton and Marriott motels. But best is that all the folks working there were great. Truly outstanding. They make everything about the guests. And they clearly take pride in their work!
The rooms are nice. Clean and roomy. Hotel overall is nice. But...As I sit on my bed at 11:32 pm, all I can hear is what appears to be an army of elephants wrestling in the room above me. Not to mention the track meet of kids running up and down the hall on the second floor. When I came up to the room after being out for a late dinner, I noticed no less than a dozen preteen/teen boys running without supervision through the hotel. For such a nice appearing place, youd think they would have a better control on the noise and disruptive guests. But... There were still numerous people hanging out in the lobby with small children while drinking at 11pm.If a good nights sleep is what youre after, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.Signed, Sleepless Night in Columbus.
Everything was fine. But my problem is that everything was closed. Pool, weight room, restaurant, bar, waiting room , yes you were not aloud to sit in the waiting room, you werent even able to sit on either outside patio no furniture. But they made it point to say you werent cant gather out there either no ice in the ice makers cause they shut that off as well. So just a room nothing else but they still want full price. Yes full price but everything an i mean everything is closed. But its still 160 a night. Joke.
We stayed for 2 nights. The room was not thoroughly cleaned before we checked in but it was good enough. The first morning the house keeper was outside of our room. I asked if we could just switch out towels. She did but didnt have any wash clothes. She said she would leave them in our room but never did. When i went to get some later it took the front desk attendance 20 minutes to find some. The pool was FREEZING and the Hot tub was broken. There was obviously tension between the people working breakfast the second morning and we struggled to even get silverware. After getting home I realize we were double charged both mornings for breakfast. I called and left a message for the manager. The error was corrected but he never bothered to call and tell me I had to check my account to see it was fixed.
Beautiful hotel with an warm, inviting lobby and cozy fireplace. My daughter and I stayed there this weekend for a wedding and we were very pleased. The beds were soft, there was plenty of closet space and it was very clean. The only minor issue was a loose tile in the walkway by the door of room #204. It sounded like someone knocking on the door every time we stepped on it.The pool was small, but very warm with a perfect temperature. The hot tub was actually a bit too hot, but great for a few minutes before returning to the pool.
Positive: Not a thing Negative: Some rooms are dated, some loud and ignorant guests, filth. Coffee makers dirty, desk/remote were sticky, GM/front desk employee failed to take responsibility/accountability for their actions. Google review will be updated. I could go on.
The hotel was clean. However, when we booked two rooms and asked for them to be adjoining we were told yes but when we got to the hotel they said they couldnt accommodate us, and we were in separate rooms with the other room down the hall and on the opposite side. Kids were very upset. We ended up speaking to the person on the night shift who booked the rooms initially and he stated they would give us a discount. We are waiting to see if they follow through. Other than that the beds were comfortable and the room we stayed in was spacious. The pool was kind of small but it was warm. Also, even though the website says they have an outdoor pool this hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool.
Dont bother booking a reservation here. We reserved a room over a month in advance for 2 nights and were told that my room was given away when we showed up the first night. We had called twice that morning to ask about early check in and were told that we would have to wait. No problem, so we told them that we wouldnt be able to check in until around 11 that night due to an event were attending. We were told this was fine and I asked them to write my name down so that they knew I wasnt skipping out on the reservation.Fast forward to 11 pm and Im being told by the night attendant that she had been told nothing about me arriving late and that they dont have a room for us.They recommended us a room at the embassy suite across the street which was nice, but more expensive than the rate we had reserved by far. And on top of that it looks like Hilton Garden charged me a $120 fee for not cancelling my reservation! My best recommendation: get a reservation somewhere that will actually hold up to their end of the bargain and not charge you for their failure. It says specifically in their confirmation email that reservations are guaranteed for late arrivals. Not the case, apparently, even when you go out of your way to update them on when you expect to arrive.
I stayed only for one night but the hotel was charming and wonderful. Every employee I spoke to was exceptionally friendly, the room I stayed in was one of the cleanest Ive seen, and the bed was absolutely phenomenal! I didnt want to get up in the morning, I was so comfortable! Absolutely 10/10.
The breakfast was very pricey for the amount of food. The rooms were ok but basic. The staff was ok and was not trying to find my bathing suit that the housekeeper picked up from my room that was wrapped in a towel on the floor. I left without my bathing suit and they didnt even say sorry. They made it sound like I was lying about my bathing suit even though I have pictures of me in it and in their warm hot tub. The hotel is NOT kid friendly.
Definitely not a bad hotel. Pretty nice location right off of 270. The rooms give you all the necessities and were clean for the most part. There were a few stains on the sheets, but nothing to raise much concern over. The hot tub wasnt functional during my stay and it was always crowded so difficult to enjoy. But thats not the hotels fault at all. In general, the hotel is nice and for the money, I would stay there again.
Clean and friendly hotel. But the bathroom door opens out and the main door opens in where the 2 doors meet and smash into each other which causes a lot of noise. The walls seem to be thin, as I can hear my neighbors. We did pay more for snacks to be added to our room and that was a good choice.Problems: Room service stops at 9pm, while the restaurant and bar end at 10pm. I ordered the cheese plate at 940pm and they were reluctant to serve be BUT they had 20 minutes that they were still open... I got my cheese plate about 18 minutes later and once I got into my room there was NO fig jam or local honey... how disappointing for a $17 meal.
My fiance is a Hilton Honors member, so we do stay at hotels often. We were not happy with the service we were given at check-in. The lady was kind of rude. To make matters worse, the room had several issues. The first thing we noticed was that the wall thermostat had a note saying to control the temp using the window/wall unit. When we entered the room it was very warm (too warm for comfort) so we attempted to turn the air conditioning on to cool the room. The temp control would not go any lower than 76. We ended up having to open the window (which was very odd to be able to do) and I was extremely nervous that my child would fall out the window because there were no screens or any safety guards to prevent an accident (we were on the top floor by the way). Next, the bathtub had a large rust spot where the water would pool. When attempting to give my child a bath, rust particles were floating in the water. So we ended up giving him a bath in our familys room next door (we had 2 rooms). Not to mention, our room was not stocked with the usual complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Lastly, and honestly the most disgusting issue, the single cup Keurig machine in our room was obviously not looked at for a while. When we went to use it, there was old water in the reservoir with a thick layer of mold that was brown/black in color. When brought up to the front desk about these issues, we were only offered a $20 discount off our room. I felt that with all this issues we should have been offered more money off the room or a different room (we had a conjoined room with our family members, so essentially both rooms would have had to be changed though.)
Okay, to be fair, this was not the hotels fault but it is my experience. When we arrived there was no power due to a storm. We decided we did not need lights to sleep and climbed 3 flights of stairs to the room. The bed was firmer than I like but clean and made.At 3:45am the fire alarm went off . We waited outside until the fire department gave the all clear. Hotel staff did bring us coffee while we waited. They were able to silence the klaxons, but not turn off the strobes lights of the fire alarm . Long story short 5 stars to the makers of the strobe lights you cannot sleep through them. The hotel staff tried very hard to make the best of a very bad situation. So 3 stars for effort.
I stayed at this hotel for three nights while on business. With the exception of the maintenance, housekeeping and 1 front desk staff member the management and other front desk staff are unpleasant and not concerned for the customers. Our room was not level and all furniture drawers slid open until we put a wedge underneath the cabinet. The toilet required several flushes to remove waste and overflowed once. I completed the survey they email to after the stay last week and have not heard one thing from management. So much for the Hilton promise. Petty but not even recognized as a gold member.
My room 406 was very clean. I love the beds and all the pillows. The lobby is not only very clean, but beautiful. Every staff member was very kind and friendly. Everyone had smiles. While I didnt get everyones name - I did get 2...At check in - Amber was on shift. Not only was she friendly - she was very helpful. And working the bar both nights I stayed was Allison. She is so much fun and friendly.Breakfest bar - good varietyAll the maids that I passed were nice and helpful too.Thank you for treating the wedding party with love and care. The only thing I can suggest for my room was --- maybe make it easier for heat. It was not horrible. But we put it on before we left for the wedding at 68Β° and came back to it being set at 62Β°.Thank you for everything.
From Cincinnati Ohio Young Prettyboy40 First Time visiting Hilton at this location Wonderful people Clean location Great staff and co workers Beds were very comfortable Great view from the hotel my hotel was very clean Great location for food And family activities I will definitely visit the Hilton again soon I definitely recommend u should visit Be safe everyone 7_5_21
The pool was NOT heated! Absolutely freezing. Even my daughter who swims in anything made it 30 seconds before getting out. Jaccuzi only had 2 jets that barely worked. Whole reason I spent a little more to stay here was pool/jaccuzi. Floor in room in entrance and bathroom was sticky. Asked front desk if they could send someone and I got an attitude and was told no one was there. I passed two housekeepers when I went down there. Told her that so she said Ill try if I get time. It got done but attitude was unnecessary. I didnt spend that much for a floor that made noise every step. Also got upgraded to room w snacks cuz my corner room wasnt ready at 3. I called at noon and they said no problem, room would be ready by then. Wouldve rather had the quiet of corner room then couple bottles of water and small bags of chips.
I will start by saying that this was a completely unplanned trip and that my hotel decision was made for me. One of my friends had already booked here and I decided at the last minute to join her on a weekend getaway.I booked my room online, very easy process. Drove the 1.5 hours to the hotel, and was greeted at 10:30pm with a well lit and lively lobby, and a very upbeat and professional front desk clerk. I was also delighted to see that they serve dinner and have a decent bar.Checking in was incredibly quick and informative, and we made our way up to our room.I was happy to see that our room was spacious, the king bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Our bathroom was also immaculate and very spacious (I believe we had booked an accessible room on accident).Although the hotel was fully booked, the staff was incredibly friendly and very personable. I cannot say enough about that! There was a parade going on and the staff had maps ready for the guests to be able to get around the street closings. They were more than happy to help with any questions. There was a couple on my floor who had clearly had too much to drink and possibly some serious relationship issues. They started yelling and screaming at eachother in the hallway while I was asleep, which woke me up. I called the front desk, and the issue was resolved. On top of that, I also received a discount for my trouble, although I hadnt complained, simply made them aware of the issue.I checked out on a Sunday morning. Spent some time around the city, and was all set to head home. Until I realized I didnt want to end my vacation yet. And it wasnt because of the activities we did out and about, it was because of how comfortable I felt at this hotel! So we actually went back and booked another room to extend our stay :-DTook a dip in the very clean pool and relaxed in the hot tub for far too long. Also, I am a smoker and they have a small smoking area off of the lobby with a heated gazebo. Very nice to not feel tossed in the back lot like a dirty secret haha.Thank you very much for providing us with an exceptional stay and good memories!
Good location for the work I was doing. Service was great and the bed and breakfast package was great. Rooms were great as expected. However, I could hear the floor of the room above me creaking slightly as people came in and out and the tile in my room entry way was a little broken, but aside from that I give it a 4 out of 5
Ahhhhhhhmazing !!!!Staff is so sweet and helpful. Our room was perfection. Beautiful up to date rooms. Nice dinner and breakfast options.Housekeepers are so friendly especially Alisha. She went above and beyond to help me. You guys are amazing. Love love love this place.
The bed was comfortable and the staff was quick and friendly. The shower had a slow drain and left me standing in water by the end of a short shower. The cups and bowlsat breakfast were not clean. All the bowls by the yogurt had chocolate or something still smeared in them. The glass I got for my oj had a long hair in it that I found half way through.
Great place to have corporate visitors in town to stay or to host your local meetings. I have enjoyed this hotel on many occasions and this is the place I typically tell all people traveling to see my businesses to stay at overnight. We held 2 meetings here in the past and the event staff was good, and so was the food catering. Only drawback is a lack of nearby restaurants.
Stayed here for my 21st with some family. I live in Dublin, just down the street, but we wanted to make it special.Affordable rates, clean rooms, very nice hotel. Having breakfast included was a HUGE bonus. They have self serve yogurt/granola, waffles, pastries, and drinks. They also have a little slip you fill out for what you want like eggs, bacon, etc. The breakfast was very good. There is a pool and a bar in the lobby.
Ive stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dublin 2 times so far and have enjoyed both stays. The rooms have been clean, and quiet and the staff is always friendly and attentive. I also had the breakfast in their lobby during my last stay and the food tasted flavorful and was served promptly along with a smile. Overall Ive been very happy staying here and Id certainly recommend it for other travelers looking for a nice hotel with reasonable prices.
Best hotel Ive ever stayed in. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Newly renovated , our room was very clean. The hotel is very clean. In our room we had a goody bag with snacks and eight coupons for free breakfast for the two mornings we were there. They also provided us with a shuttle to and from the zoo! Very accommodating! I would highly recommend this hotel! I will definitely stay here again when Im in the area!
Hilton, this hotel overall was disappointing. (See previous reviews from others)We stayed for FOUR nights. Only one occasion was our room cleaned properly. We used the pullout couch for our children and their sheets or blanket was never changed. They really could offer complimentary breakfast based on the hard beds, rooms not cleaned when we first check in. Tub has rust. Wanted to go to a bigger room but the front desk declined because I had prepaid for the room. Disappointing when I have been a member for over 10 years.
We are rewards members of 2 major hotel groups and try to always stay at one of their properties. This particular hotel is exceptional in cleanliness, service and amazingly nice people who could not have accommodated our needs any better, anywhere. We will definitely be choosing this property over all the others at which we have stayed in the Canton...
Thank You for a wonderful stay. These folks have some the best customer service you could imagine. My wife and I got a last minute room when on vacation from Indiana. They went up and above what they were required to do. The young lady that checked us in and was wonderful and on her toes when we arrived. We went down for the all you can eat breakfast buffet with custom made omelets. There was a fellow guest that was a little cranky with us and the waitress. Our waitress Anya was the most gracious, humble and caring waitress we have ever had. She kept on apologizing for bad behavior of the fellow guest and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We will be back again if were back in the area of Dublin Ohio.
I came here for a conference. The hotelβs staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager, Amber, in particular helped me out very much with printing because it was currently not working. I mistakenly even left my phone charger at my house and she provided me with one. Aaron at the desk very helpful as well. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone in the Dublin area.
Staff was friendly and rooms clean but the water temp in the shower was all over the place got really hot all of the sudden then back to cold. Fitness center was sad, treadmills have TV on them but have audio which was pointless. Just not what I remember last time I was here.
Once you find it off the highway, there is lots of parking. Check in was easy - common space has lots of outlets. There are 4 floors - we were on the 4th. Clean rooms and comes with toiletries. In the night, we needed an extra blanket. It was delivered in 10 minutes. In the morning, breakfast is unlimited for $10. Good food like build your own omelettes. Complimentary coffee and tea in room with Keurig and in carafes at check out. We asked for extra toothpaste which they offer for free as well. Great stay!
The location of this Hilton Garden Inn is very convenient. Just about anything one would be interested in visiting is within 2 miles. The rooms seem kind of outdated (thus the 3 star rating). I noticed the curtains in my room are stained. The service, however, deserves 5 stars. Each staff member Ive interacted with has been incredibly helpful and nice. I would stay here again.
So I had Stayed on 10-21 I have stayed at a lot of Hiltons this was by far the worst with customer service starting out with the manager Amber she was as rude as someone could of been. She act like I was a inconvenience to her and they had a guy Josh that work there that had no clue what he was talking about the next morning there was no hot water for my family to take a shower there was only cold water the only thing that they had to offer was a free breakfast nobody wants a free breakfast they want a hot shower the bartenders were awesome that night and the rooms were clean thats all I can say good about the hotel if I was you I try to avoid this hotel.
This hotel looks pretty new, but overall I dont like it because:1. When I was checking in, the front desk lady Ms. O asked me to wait for her making her own coffee (actually, she was making an energy drink in front of me on the counter).2. Then, she was trying to sell me whatever energy drink powder she was having.3. I have already online checked in, but It took me forever to get my room key!!4. There was somebodys lunchbox in my rooms Refrigator.Hopefully, this hotel manager will fix the front desk ladys behavior.
Hotel was clean, staff friendly and pleasant. The room was nice, flat screen tv, fridge, keurig coffee maker, sofa and ottoman. Standing at the tv and looking at the room it was nice, paintings on the walls (2). From the bed or sofa looking the other way it looked stark. No paintings or pictures on the wall and the way the desk and dresser along with the fridge area just looked under appealing. The toilet seat was loose, tub was chipped and the sink faucet was dripping. It was clean and had adequate towels and toiletries. The breakfast was ok, better then the Hampton since you can order various breakfast items cooked to order like eggs, omelets, pancakes or French toast along with bacon our sausage. Coffee seemed rather strong, and the eggs were some of the smallest Ive ever seen. You make your own toast, get your own juice, they will serve you coffee in a real China cup our you can get it yourself in paper cups. Waitress was prompt in being us and in serving the food. As far a taste it was just average.Overall it was ok, the young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and made us feel welcome, the lady who checked us out the following morning was also personable. The outside and public areas were very nice and inviting. When we checked in around 5:40pm the complimentary flavored ice water was empty and there were only 3 cookies left. There were four bottles of wine most empty but one had a small amount left by the cookies giving the impression there was complementary wine. There was not and we were informed it was for decoration. In closing it could use some tweaking to for the is and crossing the ts in passing closer close attention to details could make this a more memorable hotel rather then it was ok.
Its a totally adequate Garden Inn, but the front desk clerk lied to us. We asked for a late check-out when we checked in, and were told that the latest she could do was a 30-minute extension because they were full the next day. We wound up extending our stay by a night, which turned out to be no problem, because the hotel is 75% empty!!!
The room at the Hilton Harden Inn in Dublin was clean and quiet, and the furniture was in good shape. The breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant. One note, the cord for the microwave did not reach the outlet!Would defiantly stay here the next time I am in the Columbus area.
Well the staff here were AMAZING and they made you feel like you were a superstar ( I dont know his name but the desk clerk was the best I have ever had to deal with. we were there on 9-14-12 about 9pm ), very clean, nice rooms, Amazing breakfast that you have to pay for but it was well worth it. The waitresses were Great and very helpful. I did have 2 problems. 1 - The bed was very uncomfortable and we tossed and turned all night. It was so bad I called the desk at 3am and requested a roll away bed and it was MUCH better. The beds are the memory foam type and it made our backs hurt. You sink way down in it and it makes you very hot. we had the AC turned all the way down to 62 and we were still hot. 2 - The pool was ICE cold. We decided to find another hotel and we went to Marysville Comfort Inn. They had very comfortable beds, updated rooms, WARM pool, and it was only $79.00 a night. We got up late so we went next door to get breakfast at the Waffle House. I will stay in Marysville any time im in Columbus.
Housekeeping doesnt stop at your room when staying multiple nights! Im staying at the Hilton for a reason if I didnt want housekeeping I would go to the extended stay. To add insult to injury they didnt even mention it at check in. Also they seem to have an ant problem. Keep finding these little ants in room. Maybe from the LACK OF HOUSEKEEPING! Dont give me the Covid bull excuse, all other hotels i stay at suit up and do their job! Wont be back!
For being a Hilton you would think the stay would be nice, i was only there one night for my sisters baby shower and i wanted to relax in the spy area the Hot-tub was VERY hot, to hot the staff agreed they said they couldnt do anything about it that night due to the guy that regulates the hot-tub, so i thought id try out the pool. . . bad idea the pool had WAY to much chlorine my skin got a chlorine rash from it, they didnt even close the spa area after learning this. and then the room services stopped at 3PM? so i couldnt even have any pillows or blankets brought up to my room
We got to our room and one of the complimentary waters was open and 1/2 drank sitting on the bathroom counter. There was pee on the toilet, a used washcloth hanging in the shower and a used bar of soap as well. We informed the front desk and they moved us but it was still a pain.
Requested early check-in. We got there and found out that wasnt going to happen. Check in is 3:00 pm. Still no room. Front desk was uselessly apologetic. We were going to a wedding at 4:00. Planned on taking a shuttle at 3:30. Change that planning. I would not recommend this place.
The Hilton Garden inn is located right off the highway in Dublin and is near plenty of decent restaurants. The hotel itself is very cozy and has a little pricey breakfast buffet however, its all you can eat. The rooms are fairly standard and are what you would expect for a Hilton brand. The front desk is always been helpful for every request Ive had for them.
We booked our wedding block here, May 20- May 22, with Kecia the director of sales. We have email exchanges with her that state that we were to recurve Hilton honors points for all revenue that our hotel block brought in. Around the end of May, we were informed that Kecia no longer works for Hilton garden inn.Since the end of May, we have made a few calls to Hilton garden inn and spoke to 3 different managers. We first were told that our points would be credited in a few weeks. We were then told that it was their policy to only give points for 2 rooms in the reservation, and finally we were told that they are only able to give us points for 13 of the 25 rooms that were reserved through our block. We called Hilton corporate.. They can basically do nothing. I asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold by Sonya for over 15 minutes. We are compiling all of our paperwork and attempting to take this matter wherever it needs to go to get solved. Weve been Hilton honors members for many years and are in disbelief over the lack of communication and disinterest in honoring their word.Needless to say, be careful when reserving this hotel for your wedding Block.
The location is nice Bambi checked us in fast and was very friendly. HOWEVER we had serveral problems with the staff that evening while I was in the shower I received a call stating the alarm was going off news to me my room was silent Justin at the front desk insisted he had to check the room because of smoke and the fire department would be coming soon.when several minutes went by I called and prompted them to come quickly because I was confused about what was going on he came to the room to check if anybody was smoking in the room and insinuating a vape could trigger the alarm that wasnβt going off in room but only at the front desk he checked everything was okay and left . I called to ask if there was a matenence issue that needed to be addressed I did not want to sleep in the room with broken smoke detectors he moved us to another room a that happened to be a handicap room like the one we originally checked in. We moved hoping that would fix the problem I got the manager info and attempted to rest the next morning I was awakened by the front desk βchecking on the smoke alarm going of in the front and again no alarm noise in my new room. I explained to the Charles Stewart the general manager this keeps happening and wanted to know the real reason for the disruption he inferred the smoke detectors were tampered with but that wasnβt the case also stating I had devices that were smoking also not true I made sure to let him in to check the room a detectors and he didnβt have a real answer for me i then realized I was being targeted by these individuals because I was black and young they had no reason to assume I was smoking and had no explanation for why the misterious smoke detectors work . I WAS TARGETED NOT ONLY BECAUSE I AM BLACK BUT BECAUSE I PAID A LOWER RATE ON A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE THE ATTEMPTED NUMEROUS TIMES TO FIND A AWAY TO GET ME OUT THE ROOM I PAID FOR I WILL NO LONGER STAY A THE HILTON GARDEN IN BECAUSE OF RACISM!
Horrible customer service. Front desk lady was rude and not expect this kind of customer service. Im Hilton Honors Diamond member ... still I got very bad service. I been staid so-many hiton hotel at different places. This is worst hotel.... Dont recommend this hotel at all. Need to change front desk staff....

2021-12-27Positive: Well appointed lobby (tastefully decorated for the holidays) and room. Convenient & safe location. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Carts and easy access to bring in luggage. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Complimentary morning coffee in the lobby. Negative: Coffee pot not working properly. Since my stay was over Christmas Eve and Day, maintenance staff seemed short. At checkout, I informed the front desk person that it had not been resolved. Since coffee was available in the lobby, there was an easy solution

There was also another nice handsome guy who tried to help but I did not catch his name....I am sorry about that....either way...this place is GREAT....they let me have a late check out and rooms were great.....very nice and clean. π I am high maintenance....so that says a lot. Thank you for the GREAT customer service. π I will be back.....as Arnold would say.....

2022-03-26Positive: My experience was pretty good. I would say, you need more restaurants close by. I know thats not your fault. Just a thought, or perhaps have a restaurant in our hotel. I was only told about breakfast being served in the AM. Negative: No

2022-04-01Positive: Lobby Negative: Doors in room were marked up. Poor design of bathroom door opening into the front door. Air conditioner/heater noisily ran all the time and there was no way to shut it off (wall or unit). No hand sanitizer/soap in the fitness room/fitness room bathroom.

2022-03-28Every request we had made was greeted with a lackadaisical attitude.I am a Hilton diamond member, and I was treated like they thought I was stealing lamps or something.Upon checkout, I was notified that I had a balance of $2.40 due, because they charge like 13 dollars for a.breakfast that you could get for free at the Embassy suites that is only 2 doors down. So they used up my entire incidental fee, and I had no cash on me at the time to cover it, and I didnt have another bank card. So I told them I had no way of paying that. The person at the front desk notified the rest of the staff that I was about to run out on my bill, when they already had over $300 of my money. They treated me like a theif for just under $3.I got my receipt via email, and the receipt stated that they wrote off the $2.40. But lo and behold, they decided to inform the honors fraud department that I still owed that money.I have over 12000 points I cant access because of that. They refuse to accept that my final receipt stated they wrote it off and now they are holding my honors account hostage.the only way I can attempt to get my honors account reinstated is to share my story here on Google hoping Hilton will contact me and reciprocate the situation.I would rather not speak to the manager again. She must hate her life because she had not a single shred of joy emanating from her. Just pure disrespect.Dont stay here. They have a very unprofessional staff and they will squeeze every penny they can from your wallet.I posted my receipt to prove that I am getting robbed by their management of my points.

2022-05-02I had fractured my back and was unable to carry my luggage to my room or back to my vehicle. The staff was kind enough to do this for me. They wouldnβt accept a tip. I will definitely pay it forward! Thanks

2022-06-26Worst experience ever. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional staff. It seems like all the is kind a prepared for upset customers as they all come together and behaving unprofessionally. The manager Jenny attitude was like do whatever you want but get out a here. Beware of rude and unprofessional staff.
