I was fooled by one of the customer representatives (Akeem) and his manager (Fraser). They gave me a car with a strong SMOKE SMELL even though they were vocally aware of that. I then asked for Akeem to insert it as a comment in the car review and he told me that he would. After competing the review, I asked again to make sure he did and he confirmed me me that he did insert the comment.However, when I received the car’s checklist by email I found out that he did NOT. He gave 5 stars to everything in the car, what was definitely not what we discussed when reviewing the car. In summary, whatever you point out as issues in the car prior to receiving it, doesn’t matter. They’ll give 5 stars to everything independent of your comments and concerns.If that wasn’t enough, they gave me the car with a COMPLETELY FLAT TIRE (5 psi). as shown in the picture I took. And the worse: they were aware of that, but told me that that was the only economy car they had for me (although they had many other cars, in other categories.) It was that or nothing.In case they say it’s not true, I have pictures proving it. Also, I only stayed with the car for less than 20 min, as I exchanged it immediately in another Hertz store. I also have the paper work that proves it all.THEY CONSCIOUSLY PUT MY SAFETY INTO RISK.

They are not located here anymore!! The new address is 9820 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45251. Use the first door on the East side of the building when you pull in the driveway.

I received a rental car from here while my car was in the shop. The car came with a strong smoke odor. They were aware of this and still charged me a $400 smoking fee. They didn’t care what I had to say even though I took care of the car the whole time I had it. This company is a joke.

This company literally stole $2000 of my credit card! I was in a car accident and the person at fault insurance was paying. I had to use my card for the credit card hold. The prematurely charged my card the entire amount. Not to say how rude the customer service was and how they have given me the run around about refunding me some of the money back. Like the $600 charges for insurance when I had my own plus the insurance from the other driver! The also added a gas charge and the car was returned on full even though it was given to me with a quarter of the gas driven out!!!! I’m definitely going to file a complaint with Attorney General and Better Business Bureau!!

Horrible experience. Rented a car for a month. Had to return it after 20 days due to personal issues. The Desk Agent/Manager Kristin made me vacuum the car as it was not in the same condition when they rented it. They want it squeaky clean. There is a normal amount of dirt(on the floor, not the seats)as I used the car for 20 days. No pet hair, spilled liquids, gum..nothing like that. They threatened with a $100 charge..If I do not vacuum it. They mentioned that it takes 10 mins for them to vaccum it, so they made me do it or I gotta pay.They made me wait for 3 hrs to process my return. They botched my return and levied an extra $500 charge..since I am returning it early. The manager was of no help at all. I had to call the Hertz 1800 number repeatedly for help. Even then they wouldnt fix the issue. Honestly speaking, this location is managed by a racist. Thats the only logical conclusion that I can come to after looking at the way I was treated.

I was thoroughly disappointed by this facility when picking up the car I reserved. The location is small, so there is limited space to store the rental cars they need. I reserved a PREMIUM vehicle a week prior to our trip, due to the number of passengers and luggage I was transporting on our trip. When I arrived, I was informed that this location did not have ANY PREMIUM cars available and rarely gets them in inventory. WHY DOES THIS LOCATION OFFER PREMIUM CARS WHEN THEY DONT CARRY THEM?? I had to SQUEEZE my passengers and their luggage into a Ford Fusion Hybrid. Hardly any truck space and barely room for 4 adults! I will not rent from this location again, and I will warn everyone I know about their lack of vehicle inventory....The employees ran around trying to call for a vehicle they KNEW they didnt have available. To top it off, with the SUBSTANTIAL DOWNGRADE of this vehicle, it only took 3 dollars off the total price of my rental. 3 DOLLARS??? FOR ALL THE HASSLE I DEALT WITH AT THE LAST MINUTE?? I had no choice but to take the car they had, but it wont happen again!!

Super nice staff, great cars, hooked us up with an upgrade.would be higher but I had problems with Hertz customer care over the phone with them messing up my billing and me having to pay more than expected. Cant get anyone there to talk to me so I have to leave it on here hoping theyll see it. But location is great!

Talk about a nightmare! Received a rental car for an insurance claim in September that ended up with a dead battery (I was told by a rep later that the model has a recall issue) on a weekend. Because the car was part of an insurance claim I was told that I had no access to any sort of roadside assistance or replacement because the local branches are closed on the weekends and the only Hertz rental location open was the airport- the airport does not deal with insurance claims. I was left with nothing to drive and a dead car in my garage all weekend (they still charged my insurance for those days). They sent a AAA truck on a Sunday night to pick up the dead car and assured me that someone will bring a vehicle to my workplace and all will be well on Monday. Im angry and find this to be absolutely ridiculous but fine, Ill deal with it.Fast forward a couple days- I get a phone call dont worry, everything is ok but the car youre driving was missing. They didnt transfer the rental over and went to rent the replacement vehicle I was driving to someone else only to find it wasnt on the lot. I then realize the vehicle isnt registered to me and I have no paperwork about it. I still have the first cars paperwork. Im assured that it is now- finish out my rental time and praise the holy concrete when my actual car is repaired and think this nightmare is over.Wrong. Im now fighting with Hertz about billing. Instead of transferring over the original rental agreement for the replacement they closed it out and opened a new rental agreement under my name without my insurance. Im being billed $174.82 and trying to prove that all of this happened. They seemingly kept no record of any of these calls or issues on their end. Their customer service is not helpful at all. State Farm is asking that I simply get the bill sent to them because THEY WILL PAY IT (I was approved for 20 days) and Hertz is fighting me about transferring the bill to them. The kicker to this is that we when the first car died and they wouldnt give me a replacement- we were going to switch to another rental company out of frustration but didnt because Hertz assured they would make this right. We should have ran... What. A. Nightmare.

Doesnt even deserve one star. Had a reservation for 2 weeks, went to get the car. They did not have the car ordered nor did they try to find one. Had to leave there and was able to get the car from ENTERPRISE. Dont know why I would have tried Hertz, never will again.
