I took my girlfriend here for the first time last night, we had originally planned on getting sushi and had to change plans. She doesnt particularly enjoy pizza (and trust me, Im trying to reach compromise with that to keep the relationship healthy), but she was quite impressed with Harvest!Ive been here two times prior to this time, both of which were also excellent experiences. This time I ordered a pepperoni pizza and had the standard cheese changed to goat cheese. The pizza is always extraordinarily good!!We also ate some dessert as well, which we had the strawberry shortcake. It was good, not the most impressive part of the meal by far but it is really hard to match up with that pizza! We actually sat in Curio, the cocktail bar attached to the pizzeria, and the interior of the place was VERY elegant. The only slight downside is the limited parking in this area, but we managed to get a spot right across the street. All in all, I highly recommend this place! These pictures are some Ive accumulated from Harvest and Curio!
Great Pizza and wine! Small place in the German Village area to grab a bite and a sip. Indoor and outdoor seating with curbside parking and a parking lot available across the street. Service was quick and friendly as well as the other patrons at this establishment. Pizza was delicious, served thin crust style with plenty of toppings. We walked here and a table for 2 and a baby was available right away. Definitely will return on our next visit to Columbus.
Got the Meatball Pizza and was very impressed. Just walking into the restaurant and seeing the cooks make the food right behind the counter, you know that the food is going to be good. Very impressed with the service and obviously the food, that crust is amazing! They even have gluten free options which weren’t bad as well. Great place to eat if you are craving pizza!
All of the food is incredibly tasty and consistent, and the time estimates for pickup are always spot on and the food ready when you drive up. Didnt realize how much we missed Harvest between the closing of the other nearby location and the opening of this one and they are back in regular rotation, but the pizzas are expensive for what you get and end up being about 40% crust. Also - bring back the tomato salad!
Excellent. Nice indoors, with booths, tables with chairs, a little private room for a group of 8. Excellent service, excellent food with some things on the menu that are different than what youll find anywhere else. Try the Fingerlings and fried, marinated, artichoke! The wood fired pizza was superb! Well be back.
The place is pretty, and the workers were nice. My food was okay. Kids loved the pizza. My burger was gross. I asked for a well done burger and got complete opposite. Said something about it to the waiter and he didnt return until everyone was done eating, so I didnt eat nothing but the potatoes. Which was really good honestly. But definitely wont go back. Just my opinion.
The fastest service ever. I swear we ordered and 5 minutes later the food was out. I was so excited to try it after hearing everyone rave about Harvest! I am so glad I did! No where else in columbus has crust like this. so good! i cant wait to go back and try the pineapple pizza.
They had me at pesto. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and patient.Foodstuff was soggy. If Google permitted video upload, my experience would be replete with toppings literally falling off of the pizza.I had to fold slices top-to- bottom after shoveling tomatoes and fish back unto the pizza.Flavor was fair. Anchovies seemed uncooked.Upper crust was baked to perfection, well- seasoned, too. I am observing a fast today, and was excited to eat something; regrettably, $30 in- the- hole and Im still hungry.Shame.
Service was on point! The pineapple pizza was delicious. The cocktails were strong and served in q large mason jar. I would definitely come here again. I would recommend the Brussels sprouts but ask that they are extra charred. They werent as charred as I like them to be.
I have been going to Harvest Bar + Kitchen on Front St. for about a year now and I have always enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Front Street is this wonderful little pocket that is far enough from high street where things suddenly feel much more quiet. Harvest is very focused on locally sourced foods and it shows in the quality of their food. Check this place out if you havent already!
This by far is one of the BEST pizza places in Columbus. It’s like a 5 Star pizza place. The pizza is absolutely delicious. The staff is very nice as well. I like how you can watch your pizza being made. I like their variety of unique pizzas they offer. I like that when I left there I felt comfortably full. I feel they give perfect food proportions. The downside... it IS pricey especially for a pizza place but definitely worth every penny. The other is that it’s a very very tiny place and doesn’t have a lot of seating. You should really check this place out though

Customer service was excellent and the kitchen staff was great. We watched our pizza being made and baked. The flavor profiles were excellent. The only downgrade was the crust. Our crust was soft towards the center of the pizza and was very “wet”. Would have given them a 4.5 but that option isn’t available. Because of the crust, I had to come short of a 5.
Not sure, how the food is yet. However, folks if you have not been here yet, tonight 04/27/2019 will be your last chance to. They are closing forever at the end of business today. So, hurry in before 11pm tonight. I will write my review momentarily after we get served.Edit: We just left here. I have to say it is too bad theyre closing. The staff was very polite. Service was great. The pizza was absolutely perfect. They have their own unique recipes that make it very orginal. The sauce was perfect, seasoned well, and a touch of sweet. The crust was also good. It was slightly thinner towards the middle that made it a little hard to pick up. But, that doesnt matter. Totally worth it. And, they are affordable.Sad we will not be able to return and try different items. I think the owner should seriously consider moving to a different location. Disappointing to see another small, local business closing. Especially that has great food. Not a lot of those around these days.
Very cozy pizza restaurant. Its not a sit for an hour talking type place, because the will be people waiting for a seat. The food was so delicious. There are many unique options for toppings too. There is only 1 size available, so sharing is encouraged. Multiple pizzas can add up quickly.
Amazing pizzeria, the veggie and roasted garlic options were a delight. Especially loved the sunflower sprouts that were added to the veggie pizza. The open kitchen makes it very welcoming and gives the place a nice feel. Would recommend the one at German village if you are looking for a nice pizza place.
This place makes a great pizza with fresh ingredients. Depending on how the pizza is cooked it can be a bit chewy at times, but overall one of the best pizzas I have had in Columbus. As a native New Yorker I hate rating pizza in Columbus, but I felt compelled to give this restaurant a good review for what they have going. The reason I did not give 5 stars is for the size, price, and sometimes chewy pies.
Loved this place! I went here for a pre-interview dinner and it was the perfect set up. We were in an upstairs room at a long table and the server was very attentive. We had the kale and the chopped salad both of which were amazing. I wish I had the recipe for the house chopped salad! We tried a variety of pizzas and my favorite by far was the mushroom pizza, with the almond pesto pizza in a close second. All of the ingredients were fresh and each pizza had its own unique flavor combo. I would highly recommend this place!
Harvest Pizzeria is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is chic, modern, and cozy all at the same time. They have premium unique cocktails along with pizzas, salads, and appetizers whose flavors are out of this world. In addition, there are options for all different types of eaters: vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, and meat lovers. I’d recommend the kale caesar salad and the white pizza. Will definitely be back!
Harvest has some of the best brick oven pizza in Columbus. We got there later on a Friday night and had to wait for a table but the bartender in the front made us amazing drinks while we did. Our waiter was super friendly and made excellent menu suggestions. Seems like this tiny place would be so busy in the summer, with lots of outdoor seating. Would highly recommend.
Great variety of super fresh and local ingredients, as well as vegan friendly. The mushroom pizza is great. Beer and wine selection is one of the best in Columbus. My only issue is that the crust is never crispy enough and I always have to fold my piece of pizza in order to keep the toppings from falling off.
We like to go here at 11 am before the regular lunch crowd fills in. Weve gone twice now with our baby and the staff is very accommodating. The lunch special is a perfect amount of food for the price, although my partner and I tend to order three pizzas between the two of us instead (we love to try as many different pizzas as possible per visit). Today the meatball was our favorite. And their crust is ALWAYS on point.
Was hoping for a great experience but instead was disappointed. The food is okay. Pizza is brick oven style so if you like a that style then you will like this. Not a customer friendly nor a family friendly establishment. Had an office party there and we were told they do not take reservations. Weird! Was also told there system cannot separate checks for individuals and can only spit the bill evenly with 4 credit cards. Would have purchased more food but couldn’t because most people had to pay cash and lets face it, who carries cash nowadays? Probably will be the last time we have any parties there.
My wife and I went there for a quick date night. We shared a gluten free pizza that we created ourselves. We added three toppings, one being cheese, go figure and the personal pizza was $18. When it was brought to the table, the cheese was melted but the rest of the pizza was luke warm. We ate half and left the rest. Long story short, you can get a better gluten free pizza at an affordable price at MOD. This place has location being in German Village.
I LOVE this restaurant! This is one of the places I frequent often for a quick but yummy lunch in between showing homes in the village. They have a $9 lunch special which includes a small personal pizza and a freshly prepared salad. GREAT DEAL! Be adventurous and try one of their inventive pizzas of the day..a taste sensation. Lastly, if the sun is shining and the weather is warm you can sit outside in their front courtyard :)
Columbus OH, you have an amazing gem of a pizza place hiding in deep in your German Village, find it and be astounded. As a New Yorker that has almost unlimited access to the best pizza in the US, we know really good pizza-- and this place has it. The only drawback is the space is very small and seating is limited. This place has some unique pizza combos/options, its quick & wood fired, got some good local beers floating around in there. Well done Harvest Pizza, well done.
Delicious pizza. If you go here when they have specials you can get discount gourmet pizza which is superfantastic.Dont expect to get your visit done and over with quickly if you have a large party. If you have 12 people it can take 1.5 hours.Simply the nature of this place and in my opinion completely worth it.Curio is a nice bar inside the restaurant as well with nice decor and cocktails. Give it a try!
Nice and quaint, with intimate dining spacing. This restaurant is prepared for baby and toddler dining, but geared towards them. My baby and toddler were sufficiently accomodated. The menu offers culinary diversity, with pizzas that Iconsidered more gourmet, with fine spins on some favorites. The ingredients are fresh, and smartly used. Our family was delighted with our selections, even the little ones too. Real palate pleasers! It was a delicious dining experience. I recommend this restaurant for diners looking for new and interesting ways to enjoy pizza, that doesnt break the bank. Overall, an A+ experience.
Great place, very efficient use of space, converting a house into a restaurant is a modern solution favoring prior made structures remodeled to accommodate needs, opposed to expensive projects building from scratch to create structures. The pizza is delicious, and there are many selections to satisfy everyones pizza preference. The staff is great as well, all working to assist every customer, not just focused on their table or section.
I got into contact with the team at Harvest just after a last second cancellation by the food vendor that was going to be serving my small wedding. The manager of this location, Cambur, worked with me directly on putting together an order that would work for me and my family on my wedding night. The team at Harvest really saved our night and after it was all said and done, we wished we had planned on eating Harvest from the beginning because it was a HIT. So delicious.
If you like to sit and wait, then this is the place for you. It took 36 minutes to receive a non-refillable canned drink and exactly 1 hour from arrival for a slightly burnt 9 lunch special pineapple pizza to arrive to our table. Dont come here on your lunch break if you plan on being back on time, Dont think youre going to find a close place to park, and absolutely DONT believe the hype, this Pizza is NOT worth the wait. It is good, but not great. Maybe customer service only matters in the south?🤷 Will not be returning to the Harvest Pizzeria at German village anytime soon.
Its the best pizza in the city, hands down.If youre looking for relatively authentic Neapolitan-style pies, this is the place to go. Terrific crust and creative toppings as well. They also have great small plates like warm ricotta profiterooles.Throw in arguably the best cocktail bar in the city next door, Curio, and you have a pretty winning combination.
Service is not friendly and we felt like we were the wrong type of customer. Family with teens visiting the city looking for some good pizza is not wanted. When one of our three pizzas arrived, it had a big hair in it. The servers response? What would you like me to do?Also, sparse toppings and the crust was not very crispy at all. No, I would not return here.
Harvest lives up to the hype. Rotating pizza, wine, and beer selection means something for everyone. This is one of my top five pizzas in the world and Ive had them in quite a few places. Crust is a great consistency with a slight char from the brick oven. Fresh, high-end ingredients and an excellent sauce blend are the key to great pizza and Harvest has both in spades.Spicy Yuma is their most popular pizza but my personal favorite is the Sausage with fresh fennel and fennel pollen.
So, we have been here several times in different seasons. We do enjoy the seating outside when weather permits. For a cozy (perhaps romantic) evening when weather is cooler, request a booth in the part of the building with a bar. Get there a tad early (6?), and there will be a good chance of seating there. We had the pimento cheese appetizer with pickles most recently--loved it. Salads are a very pleasant beginning--try the Mean Green. For the pizzas, the options are good as they come. As well, adding on or a create your own gets you where you want to go. Consider clams, arugala, hot peppers, fresh corn . . . While I am a low salt guy, I enjoy the pizzas despite the salt level. They will reduce salt and parmesan at your request. And if you enjoy cocktails, you are likely to be pleased with what they do. If nigroni is to your taste, be sure to have one.
Well its the night before the last night, and I am a first timer. Everyone is saying goodbye to their favorite bartenders. Seems as if the locals love the place. I had a few pizzas, salad, and some beers. I couldnt complain. Not a clue what they will do with the place. #hopefullynotachilis
First time at the Harvest(Bexley) ordered take out. I asked for the Buffalo Cauliflower with ranch on side... Got home the buffalo sauce was on the side and ice cold. The cauliflower itself was not bad just plain fried. I said Ill go again and maybe eat in. Well Im here 2 days later order the Cauliflower and it comes out tossed in Buffalo sauce, but the dish itself is cold. The good is very flavorful but there is a miscommunication lapse or something somewhere. The drinks and bar service was great.!.!..However Ill give them a third times a charm chance again. After that Ill just drive past it and wave..
The white pizza was merely okay. I cant put my finger on it, but I remember thinking they had used too little of one of the ingredients, maybe garlic. Also, the crust was a bit soggy and that made cutting it with the knife that was given essentially impossible. And, its a very crowded space. Forget having a private conversation. Servers have trouble walking between the tables even.
My 4 trips to Harvest Pizzeria have me fully persuaded that it is by FAR the best pizza in Columbus. Servers are incredibly friendly. Ingredients are fresh and locally grown.Ive tried Yellow Brick and some of the other places - and nothing seems to nail it quite like Harvest. I have had the Almond Pesto (my girlfriend is vegetarian) and a custom Pepperoni with jalapenos. I typically order the latter for myself - but both are incredible. Theres something particular about a pizza cooked in wood burning, brick oven, and this joint has it down to a science. The salad was okay - I have gotten a regular / chop salad twice, and overall, I recommend skipping the salad and just getting more pizza.Be prepared to wait if you go on Fri / Sat in the evening - I have waited up to 40 minutes for a seat. (The place is the size of a shoebox.) You cant call ahead as they dont take reservations of call ahead seating, but you can put your name in in-person, and they will text you when your table is ready, so you can do other things in the mean time in the local area.Random fact: I get iced tea when I visit, and their sweetener is either Sugar in the Raw or Stevia In the Raw. No regular sugar, Sweet N Low, Splenda, or Equal. Honestly, I think this is responsible for converting me from Sweet N Low to Stevia In the Raw, too. Fabulous place. :)
Well, all I can say is...well, very disappointed! I ordered a carry-out order that cost me a total of $20. The appetizer, Brussel spouts was very tasty and very small for $8...Brussel sprouts...maybe four or five....good..but not that good. And the Green Goddess Salad....$11 for a big bowl of lettuce...a little bit of lentils and if there was anything else...it was lost in lettuce. They gave me a very small container of green goddess dressing that covered half of the salad leaving me with, well, lots of lettuce. I wanted to like the food but it was very little of anything for the value. Perhaps theyd like to rethink the salad and portions. Will never be back. BTW, parking is a bear!
I went here with a friend on Friday. Parking was really difficult to find nearby in German village. We had about an hour and a half wait so we got a drink next door. The pizza was amazinggg, absolutely worth the wait!! I would suggest trying it out on a week night so it isnt so crazy crowded.
Pizza was just o.k. & service was extremely slow. I know if was a friday night but waiting 10min just for someone to come take our order & then not getting checked back on about our food until we were done eating was disappointing. Went to restroom before leaving and its good thing i didnt go first or ib wouldnt have ate there. It was horrible and extremely filthy.
Order: NY sour which was interesting and nice but had too much ice, basically a whiskey sour with red wine. The Sturgill burger: ground beef with Gruyere, roasted truffle aioli, mushrooms and onions topped with BBq for only $6 . Burger was really good and juicy. Fries were extremely salty, hard to eat them
Normally very good. Sometimes it comes out a little mushy...and they will put you on hold and leave you there. Try to call back and its busy because she puts the phone on hold and forgets about it. One hour later still busy, imagine how much business they lose!! During lunch hours too!! smh

2022-05-26I went there just for pizza.Very soft and light pizza. Crust is very good and easy to eat. It has some oil/grease on top that it’s not the best for my taste, but overall it is a solid pizza.

2022-05-20Just had an excellent dinner at Harvest Bar + Kitchen. Katie, our server, provided good recommendations, gave us just the right level of attention and she actually seemed to care that we were there which we havent experienced in a little while. Thanks, Katie! All the best to you! Brussels sprouts starter was hot and cheesy. Pepperoni pizza has pepperoncini to give it a little more kick and was a well-constructed, tasty pie to be sure. But the best part (an opinion seconded by my wife) was probably the Yardbird chicken sandwich, hot from the fryer with kale side salad topped with hazelnuts. Really nice ensemble, that sandwich! Hot to the last bite! Finished with Budino dessert which is just the right size for a light, post-dinner treat featuring salted caramel, butterscotch, creme fraiche topped with hazelnuts in the cutest little cast iron pot (I love toasted hazelnuts so it was a bonus to have them show up in a couple of the courses). Oh, and the restaurant was squeaky clean and well maintained, which I appreciate. We are out-of-towners but hope to be back before we depart. Highly recommend. Place was getting busy at 6pm so looks like a popular option in the neighborhood.

2021-11-30The location was nice! Ive never had a quality concern at Harvest. This was the first time we tired their lunch pizzas (I think theyre 9 inches) because my husband and I couldnt agree on what large pizza to share (🤣🙄). Not disappointed in the least! Easy to customize. Perfectly cooked. The waitress seemed a little tired, but were all human and she was friendly! I never considered sitting in for a regular lunch here since Ive always viewed it as a great place for dinner, but its totally a lunch rotation for me on fun occasions!

2021-11-10Thought the pizza was good, the crust is great, so soft and good hints of char. We got the garlic pizza minus arugula. The dining room is really nice, it was a nice quiet night when went midweek. Service was excellent. We definitely want to come back and try more pies and some of the other things on the menu.

2022-05-03Open and friendly to our big boisterous party. We had drinks, appetizers, meals and a couple of pizzas. Overall, food was tasty. The appetizers were good, but my party really liked the cauliflower best. Sandwiches are generous and salads are very good, especially the kale salad. Pizza is very good too, but does not stand out among strong rivals in the city.

2022-06-12Very intrigued and impressed from the start of seeing yelp photos of Harvest, good reviews on this place, calling ahead for a table, walking in with ease, quality service from Zac, top notch food from everything that was ordered. It did not disappoint at all! So grateful that we have a place like this! Love love love the freshness of the food. Everything is so authentic and fresh. I have never eaten pizza and felt like I was falling in love. Lol coming here always now! Also love the branding! It’s consistent throughout the pizzeria. Great work

2021-04-13The food here was excellent! I have never had Brussel sprouts with cheese on them, but the flavors were great. The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly, and the aioli compliments the chicken perfectly. My girlfriend said that her burger is the best she has ever had, and the roasted Potatoes were cooked perfectly.

2022-03-15Very happy we took a chance on this place as we were driving across Ohio. Easy on and easy off I-70, even during rush hour. We see why it has a high rating!! Nice variety of HAPPY HOUR offerings - we had the polenta topped with 3 delish meatballs, house wines and pints of craft beers each only $5. Also had the kale salad with chicken which had a luscious lemon dressing topped with toasted hazelnuts. Finished it off with the best brownie smore dessert I ever had!! Pet friendly outdoor seating also!! Wow!
