I love the flea market, went with my Mom to help her & my stepdad out, a family member passed & they had all his estate, so they got 2 back spaces & made enough to cover the spaces & then some, & theyve been back a few times since & made out pretty well. Giving 4 stars BC the Porter Potties in the back lots were absolutely gross (meaning almost threw up-needed a shower just opening the door gross) So would recommend you plan on holding it, or have someone their to watch your things while you go to the building to use bathrooms :(
Took mom there on a crowded Saturday. Ive been here a few times, but its been years since. Seems theres alot of repetition of stuff more now than back when & all those collectable card tables out front plus down the right wing really made it claustrophobic and took away from the shopping experience imo. We wanted to get a bite at the Grill, but there were no seats and not even any clean trays to carry your food if we did find a spot. Get rid of all the card tables & put up more tables for the grill! Not to mention the food is expensive, though. $5 for a dried out, tasteless coney dog. (Mom got one on the fly.) I guess this place is OK if youre looking for produce & farmhouse decor. I did get a container of Baklava - four diamond pieces for $20. Pricey, but its delicious. The HMP & FM is still worth a visit if youre in the area. You may enjoy it more than we did, but it really was better a decade or two ago.
Very frustrating! There is a phone number provided but nobody ever answers. I have called a total of 5 times at different times and the recording only gives you hours of operation or the option to leave a message!! Not a solid way to run a business. Their only comprehension of possible options is to leave a message...not choose a person or department or anything else, just when the market is open or leave a message. THAT is the extent of the human experience in their opinion. Jeesh! For-get-it !
Outdoor: Everybody seems to think their old, tired, rusty junk is a Pickers fortune. A lot of people start shutting down around 1:00 on Saturday for some reason.Inside: Rent hikes are showing in prices, and items are the same old, same old. Nothing changes.Reminiscent of Quaker Square now...kinda fun to walk around but not buy anything.
Recently remodeled and looks terrific. More of a commercialized feel in the new section and less flea market like. However lost a lot of old vendors, especially the pepperoni shack. I won’t miss the teeth whitening place or the vendors that sold fake essential oils. Not all of the remodeling is completed and still several vacant spots open but the future looks very promising for the flea market. I just hope the prices can still be affordable.
Love this place! Lots of deals. Owned by an awesome family! They are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday. Outside 6am and 8am under pavillion. Inside opens at 9am. The food is very good here also. Lots of unique items! I would give this place 10 stars, they are my favorite fleamarket!
Love the flea market, but very disappointed to find the one vender/store looking like a dollar general inside. The vender that used to be in that area was full of awesome things. This replacement is full of stuff you can buy anywhere. The rest of the flea market has an old time flair, with lots of interesting finds.
I love the flea market. I understand trends with stuff people have for sale. But it seemed like I was finding the exact same trend items down every single aisle. Like the cheap stuff in all the boxes. I feel they had that stuff set up in like 6 different locations. Not to mention each one of them that sets up takes like 6 spots.
This place is packed on the holidays and in the summer. They always have set ups on Fridays and Saturdays. There are some good deals to be had, but you better have strong legs and willing to walk. The indoor part is open to year around. See the photo. also very close by is the huge hartville hardware, and a restaurant that cant be beat.
This is worth the drive. There is just about everything under the sun to be had. I have a few warnings for you though.1.) The food court in the main building is supremely overpriced. A can of tea thats $0.99 everywhere else on earth is $3.00 there. A tiny club wrap is between $7.00-$9.00. Bring your own lunch if you arent made of money.2.) There is an ocean of vendors. By that I mean hundreds. Be prepared to walk miles to see it all.3.) There will be some vendors that sell literal junk, but in my experience in going to many different flea markets in the past, it might only be about 20% junk which is honestly really really impressive to me.4.) Bring cash. More than you think youll need. You can end up happening upon stuff you forgot you need, so be fully prepared. Cards are accepted in the main building by some vendors though.
Its fun to go anytime. There are all kinds of vendors around the main floor as well as a good selection of regular shops. During the summer months the flea market explodes out onto the parking area. This is a popular place, especially during the summer, so go early to get good parking and bring plenty of cash.
Enjoyed the restaurant, busy.. The food was fresh and delicious. I havent been in an establishment in many years that treated me like a customer should be ! Every member of the staff I encountered was polite and happy ! Yes, they actually enjoyed taking care of customers!!! We need more Hartville in our Country!!!
The market place was nice, and the people were very friendly. The only issue that I had was accessibility. Most of the market was not wheelchair accessible. The shops were so full of stuff that it was hard to walk through, and mostly impossible to navigate with a wheelchair. The flea market was much more wheelchair friendly, the entire area was blacktoped, instead of stone like a lot of places, which made it much easier to get around. I will go back again, all in all is was a nice place.
I have to take pictures next time. They have anything youre looking for. I brought deodorant for 75 cents of course I got 3. It would cost more in the store . ( Name brand) shoes $5.00 a pair. Fruits, vegetables, clothes they have it all. Vendors are in the back lot. Its a nice one day trip.
Love the Shops at Hartville. Excellent selection of gift items, handbags, jewelry, clothing and more. The Bakery is wonderful; I always pick up a treat! The dining room is nice, the service is excellent and the food selection is good. Amish style food. Had a fun time!
It was fairly quiet when we were there last week on Friday. I give a 3 rating because they close at 5. Most people just get off work at 5 so they cannot shop there. The meat and seafood place says seafood, but we did not see any seafood.I asked and it is kept in the freezer. Not much to choose from right now.We liked the antique store upstairs.
Hartville Flea Market is a place of treasures and great food. I dont know what sounds better than that, but my family love everything; from the fresh locally farm grown vegetables to amish deserts and hobbies of all kinds, the Hartville Flea market is sure to please all. We come as often as possible and are never disappointed.
Ive been coming here longer than I can remember 20+yrs. Its always filled with friendly, good hearted people (The Hartville Flea Market staff as well as vendors). No matter what your looking for chances are theres a vendor with it or knows the right direction to send you.
Good place to come and see a variety of goods from different vendors. The outdoor flea market has an even better variety of things to choose from. They even have a nice grille to get food from.Unfortunately, I was a passenger and didnt have my wallet, none of the drink machines had contactless payments and the registers at the grille didnt have pinpads for that either.
Got some of the most incredible deals Ive ever made they were practically giving stuff away .Im a old outboard motor enthusiast and camp gear collector .15 bucks for an antique outboard??? 🤯 20 bucks for a 2 burner Colman stove with toaster attachment 🤯🔥army mess kits with original silverware 18.00 who does this stuff ???? Well obviously these vendors Ill be back dang Skippy 🤣
It was soooo crowded at the Memorial Day flea market! They had absolutely everything there... If you can think of it, there was a vendor selling it. Most of the vendors are nice, some dont say anything when you are at their booth, and then there are the religious people who freak me out. Anyhoo, it was well worth the sunburn. Will go back again next year. See ya there! Bring sunscreen.
All sorts of great shops inside! They always have some kind of event going on too! Great for the family! Amazing antiques and decor up stairs, and of course you never know what you’ll find out in the flea market. From the events to the everyday shopping, this place has it all!
The bakery is awesome. The cake decorators are the best. Probably some of the finest artistry I have ever seen . Rachel helped me and she was very professional and knowledgeable. Was willing to take the time to show me all the options I had. I was impressed and I have been going to another bakery for a long time. Prices are also reasonable.
I went on a Monday, so outside vendors were few. I bought a phone case from a very friendly fella in the parking lot. The atmosphere was very down home, despite the size of such an enormous place. The interior shops were immaculate as were the food court tables and bathrooms. I look forward to going back!
We set up and sold items outside today under the Pavillion today. We had two old pocket knives in our items for sale. Sadly they were stolen by one of our customers. Its a real sad day when vendors at a flea market have to fear for stuff being stolen. We have sold things at many flea markets around Central and Northern Ohio and Hartville sadly was the market that broke our hearts. We will never look at our love for flea markets the same ever again. If the disgusting person who stole from us would have asked us for a knife we would have given them a great deal or even given it to them if they had a need for it. We use the flea markets as our bread and butter in addition to hubby working 40 hrs a week. Thank you so much whoever you were. You were very mean to two people who would literally give you the shirt off their hard working backs. So sad.
The Hartville flea is a fun great place to hang outThey have so much to see. They also have GREAT food vendors so go.hungry! Plan on making a day of it. You will have a blast. Make sure you wear good walking shoes as there is a ton of vendors if you go on a nice warm day.
This was a place I use to visit almost every week. They lost a lot of businesses that were my favorites and Ive heard others say the same thing. People came for the Amish meats and cheeses, produce, at great prices. The Christian bookstore. Dumas meats. The pepperoni roll place and others. I come maybe once a month now or less. Just same old stuff now.
Ok I gave it a five at first. But Im going to reject that. I bought a diffuser and got it home and it didnt work. I live almost 35 minutes away. My husband took it back and got another! Which when my husband brought it home low and behold it was broke!! Its not even worth the gas to take it back. So I feel like I just gave away free money for nothing..ripped me off!!!
Absolutely love coming here on weekends. I love walking outside and checking out all the vendors. There are some really nice people and co things here for very cheap. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. It has an indoors and outdoors with antiques as well as fresh produce with restaurants and a bathroom in doors.
I love this place, it has it all! The flea market is great, lots of stands with unique stuff and good bargains!! They have indoor vendors and out door vendors too! The place is huge! I even came out to sell some of my own stuff and it was a total success!! It’s a must to check out the flea market Saturday’s!
It was disappointing. Not enough seating areas to enjoy eating or the music. Too long of lines for the few food trucks that were there. No place to get drinks like lemonade, ice tea , no ice cream or snack choices etc. Was so looking forward to seeing the bands and listening and relaxing .
We were there for dinner with a large group. The servers there are friendly and super efficient. They are accustomed to large groups and we barely waited for our dinner to be served. The food was simple yet delicious. There is a shop in the hallway by the entrance where various foods and snacks are available for purchase. This is a tourist stop so the prices are a little high but not really excessive so.
First time visit for my wife and I. We were very impressed. It was an hour and a half drive for us, but worth it. We spent 3 hours walking around, shopping, snacking, and socializing. The produce by any of the vendors was extremely high quality, and excellent prices, take it from an old farmer. The people were all so nice, friendly, and helpful. Great for kids, even babies, grab a buggy and push them around even outside. The parking is very spacious when you leave eat dinner at the Hartville restaurant just about 100 yards up the road. Great food, and prices. You should plan to spend a few hours there, also many quaint little stores inside. We shall visit again.
One of the best flea markets in Northeast Ohio. Has inside, outside, and pavilion vendors. Lots of stuff to look at under normal conditions. Even in the rain, it’s still half decent thanks to the pavilions. Has some events going on sometimes as well.Helpful hint: Do not go when a car show is in the area. It takes up over half the vendor space, resulting in no people selling stuff. Please stop hosting car shows here.
Excellent location to spend a day walking through the many quaint stores! There are a variety of goods available and the prices and quality of items are excellent. After a few hours of browsing through the many stores, I enjoy a snack in the restaurant. Depending on the time of day, breakfast or lunch is available. Before leaving, I usually stop by the meat market to pick up fresh meats, cheeses, and miscellaneous unique sweets/candies!
Stopped here to buy a few things.Quite a collection of,products andantiques ..just about anything youcould think of is there. Fun just tobrowse and buy a few things orjust browse and eat at the HartvilleKitchen.. their food is Deliciouswhatever you order. In my opinion.
Been here twice now, love the whole experience but I do wish it was open on Sunday as well because we come from out of town and when I arrive on Saturday, they are all shutting down about 3pm. I really love the availability of fresh produce but dont like that they have store bought produce items that they resell . Great selection of items in side too, something for everyone!! Nice eateries inside too.
If you havent been here what are you waiting for? This place is awesome to walk around and browse at all of the unique items for sale. They have a really good food court as well with awesome lobster bisque! There is something here for everyone from meats, produce, chocolates, donuts, clothes, antiques, guns, etc.
First time in after the remodel. I love the changes that have been made. Seeing some our favorite places to pop into in actual store fronts was really cool. Between the options in the outdoor Flea market and the consistent shops inside this will be a place I frequent now that I live close by.
We love the Hartville Market! Its huge and full of so many interesting things. The inside got an upgrade recently and looks and feels so nice now. There are some really nice shops. Be sure to check out the donut shop too! The outside has people selling lots of things but it is like a big garage sale out there. Its a fun place for sure.
Fabulous! Love the Farmer Market with fresh fruit and veggies. Food market with THE BEST FRIES! Good hot dog and burger. Got fresh deli meat and fudge. Didnt even see a tiny bit of everything there is to see. I will be a regular out here! I even got a new pair of shoes that I had been needing at a great price! Too much fun♥️
Such a fun place! The weather was very bad today, so there were no outside vendors. Well have to come back in the summer when the weather is better.Inside, we loved all the shops, the bulk foods store, butcher shop, and especially the toy store upstairs. Well definitely be coming back!
I didnt check out the market, so this may not seem like a fair review. But I wanted to talk about the flea market. Whereas I found a couple of things that I purchased, I couldnt find the fleas. I am so sick of going to these places and they dont have what they advertise. I spent the better part of my quarantine building an entire flea city. I figured I could populate it. Now its just an ant farm.
I absolutely love this place and have been coming here for years, but I have to say I did not feel safe at all the last time. Obviously social distancing isn’t possible at a crowded flee market, but I would appreciate it if people had the common decency and respect for their fellow Americans to wear a mask. About half the people their weren’t wearing masks at all. I’ve known too many people who have gotten sick and even passed away from this virus. The cafe is still doing self serve which the FDA banned indefinitely until further notice. I just wish the Hartville administration would do more to ensure our safety here. I will be coming back, just not until this pandemic is over.
The gray hair at Sarahs food stand plays around with his mask and then touches food items and food surfaces with his bare hands and Carries On like nothing happened. Has a food service worker that was pretty cringey and then the kid that made my sandwich gave me it and didnt tell me where I had to go to pay or nothing and Ive never been here before so I just left it on the counter and walked out I never seen a place to pay
Not a bad set up and very nice to get out to the country and get some fresh air. One major issue as I see it is that 75+% of the people didnt get the memo and understand the importance of wearing a mask during a pandemic including a number of the vendors. I spent the entire next week hoping I didnt come down with Covid.
Love the changes and great atmosphere. Plenty of places to sit and people watch near the shops. The Outside market place is always a treasure hunt for something you could not live without. Find the kettle corn, the roasted nut vendor and get some cool henna tattoos! Dont forget to go inside to the grocery store deli for the made to order more than affordable lunch sandwich meal ( including drink+chips) for only $5.00!! They are the best and you will be stuffed.
Not a lot of vendors there, but still was worth the trip with our pups to do some crowd friendly socializing! One is 7 months old and needs to get used to being around others. Still soc.dist. just got to enjoy showing her something different than just being quarantined. Didnt stay long and ended up buying a few goods so it helped a vendor or two!
I always love trips to Hartville Fleamarket! They have the best cheese and meats! Buying fresh vegetables from a local farmer is better than any grocery chain. I had to get some honey sticks and fresh Ohio honey while I was there. Delicious! Homemade mint chocolate peanut butter is something new that I bought and it is surprisingly amazing! Love this place!
Awesome flea market, one of the biggest around. You can find a numerous amount of items. Some unique that you cant find anywhere else. Others of variety that you can search for that can be in good quality for cheap. Also to buy new goods as well. Fruits, vegetables, and baked goods of very good quality. Always attracts tons of people especially on holiday weekends which is the time to go. The inside facility was recently remodeled on one side and is a great market just by itself. One of my favorite things to do on a weekend when its the nice time of the year. I recommend going, youre almost guaranteed to find something you like.
First visit to the flea and new shops in the Marketplace. Many cute shops, meat market, Starbucks, fresh lemonade and popcorn, and a grill that serves breakfast and lunch ( closed about 330 or 4). Chocolate store and Love, peace and small donuts being built. Outside the usual vendors. Nice atmosphere and clean restrooms. Very handicap accessible.
This is a fun little place. The night we were there, they had live entertainment that was actually pretty good. They have a chocolate store, which is in and of itself good enough for me. They have good little show shops and good food. Its a great place to go to find little things you cant typically find anywhere else. Id definitely go back.

2022-01-15I wasnt impressed with the overall place. Maybe because I visited on a Friday, or the fact that its winter. Very few shops were open, not a lot of stuff to do. Although there was a fabulous crystal seller there that was super friendly and helpful, she knows her stuff! I did enjoy the upstairs area of shopping. Lots of fun finds that I wish that I had brought home with me. Overall I dont want to say..eh pass.. but Ill have to update once the warmer months come around. It seemed like they had a pretty decent food area and the bathrooms were very clean. Ill update once Ive visited in the summer. Until then, youre not really missing out if you dont go. They have plenty of parking and multiple entrances. I think its worth another shot...in warmer weather.

2022-06-09One of the best places that has a huge flea market with just about anything there. There are vendors both inside and outside, so plenty of good things to check out!

2022-05-07Marketplace was clean and had a good selection. Outdoor Flea Market, it just depends on the day and the weather. Thursday in early May was completely dead at the outdoor flea market. Saturday was better but I wouldnt drive too far to see it. A big summer or fall weekend may be better.

2021-09-09My daughter & I went, had a great time. You should take cash with you though, their ATMs are not the greatest...took forever to load etc, after waiting in line for what seemed like forever..that was probably where we spent half our time lol.

2022-05-15Love visiting the flea on Saturday mornings. So many people and stands, great food and even better finds. Be sure to come a bit earlier, around 9 or 10. Hitting it at 11 or 12 will make you end up with a farther parking spot and a longer walk. They start to pack up between 1-2.

2022-06-23A fun time for thrifting and searching for antiques. If you manage to go on a day when they are also doing the outside flea market, its incredible! Had a fun few hours here and will definitely be going again.

2022-05-15Over priced indoor flea market, I thoroughly support small business but some of the prices were ridiculous. The people are pleasant but like a lot of places short staff in the food area. We ordered food but had to carry our food and drinks to the Coffee Mill/Starbucks to cash out which is very inconvenient, no tray to carry your item to the register.Outside flea market area did not have many vendors but we did visit on a Thursday so that may have contributed to the reason of minimal vendors.
