Strange set up overall. Have a bunch of arcade games would of loved to see working. All of them were shut off/broken. No bar games like pool, darts, corn hole. Bartender was friendly but i ordered a red bull vodka..... She pours a short then proceeds to hand the half red bull im paying for to her friend sitting at bar. Feel like they are just waiting to close with the rest of the mall.
There food is great when you go in but if you call and try to order good luck on some answering the call whats the point in having a number listed if no one answers.
The food was ok but waiting time was horrible and was confused on how the drink cost even though it said refills was free
Normally this is an awesome place to stop and grab food and a couple drinks. But my husband and I stopped in and the 2 works walked outside and sat at a table ignoring the fact that we had just walked in and sat at the bar. It took about 20 minutes for them to approach us to order. My salad was great, his burger just okay but the drinks were on point and the appetizers are phenomenal!! This is not the normal experience at this establishment Id like to add.
We used to love coming to this location for dinner but that was pre-Covid & before Midway Mall completely died. It was a restaurant with a bar then and now its just a bar where you can order food. There were only 3 other tables in there besides us and it still took over an hour for our food and then it was ok but nothing like it used to be. However, if I was going to a bar to drink and wanted some food then it would be better than ok. Kudos to the bartender tho. I watched her make my drink and then look at the glass which must of been dirty because she dumped it out and then made me another drink in a different glass.
The Buff is still the same great underated pub as always. Food is phenomenal as well as the service. The only thing that brings this location down is its location at the Midway mall?. I watched the first college football games of the year here and had a great experience. As always.
Place was clean and the food was very good for standard pub type offerings. Bar tender was pleasant but short with conversation. Was just passing through the area but would recommend to anyone staying at the nearby hotels. Good selection of draft beers too!
Customer service was satisfactory! Food was great! Fish tacos were flavorful and different sauce used for their own flare! The beef bowl was a great Gluten free choice. It was just a little bland! It is in a vacant mall, so we were not sure it was open, but to our delight it was! It started getting busy later, seems like possibly a gathering place for locals!We stumbled upon an Ohio restaurant that has about 7 locations! We would visit it again!

We had not been here for a while. We have always liked their food and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the changes they made. Who I assume was their manager came out to make sure everything was going well and clear some of our plates. The food was delicious and service was great. I highly recommend their classic chicken sandwich. So yummy.
They had only 1 person doing bar and tables. I am handicap. I needed HELP. I would have dined in but I feel my service was important enough.I bought a beer gave the girl a tip. I would not tell my other handicap friends to go. How do you know l was there?
There are so many great things about the Harry Buffalo in Elyria. First and foremost, the WINGS (mild and boom boom) were perfectly cooked…crispy and flavorful and exactly what I was looking for on a rainy Friday night. My husband’s fish and chips was very good, as were the fried cheese curds. The second superstar at this restaurant is the gentleman who appeared to be the manager (I apologize for not getting his name)! He was involved with all of the customers, clearing plates, updating us about our order, refilling drinks…he is truly an asset to the restaurant and made our dinner even more enjoyable. We will be back!

The food was good once we got it ...server waited for 26 minutes to let us know they were out of byson and noone told her, when I asked why that took so long she apparently thought it was a bit of a joke,only it was not cute to me as a customer who hadnt eaten all day....never the less the manager paid for my drink, apologized saying he was trying to get in contact with the prep cook? However, I wouldve much rather had good customer service than a free drink that I didnt even enjoy....the manager did however apologise.... just didnt seem to understand my real issue ....
Bacon bison burger had no bacon taste. Burger was good though. Pretty fast service

I am a regular at Harry Buffalo partly because of the great service I experience every time. Penny the bartender is awesome. She is very attentive and prompt with her service. Her people skills are like no other.This makes for a a very comfortable atmosphere to enjoy yourself. I recommend this location anytime.
Drinks are always good. My wife ordered the Cajun bowl , she was not impressed the rice was cold and very watery. No flavor what so ever. A so so experience. And no guinness on tap for St. Patricks day. SMH.

Harry Buffalos is an awesome place to have a couple drinks of your choice and unwind after a long day. They also have a menu with a fantastic selection of pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and many appetizers to choose from. On this trip we had the buffalo chicken pizza and a couple of Guinness. The pizza was awesome! Even though the Guinness was not double poured it was still ok. The staff is friendly and accommodating and always available. Prices are reasonable. A great visit overall. Dont let the look of the almost vacant mall its attached to deter you. Its worth the visit.
Stephanie, our bartender was awesome to me and my daughter when we stopped in for a quick drink and friendly chat. She is awesome at what she does, and does it with a great attitude! I hope she is our bartender every time we come to Harry Buffalo!
Got here at 10pm... it’s 11:30 and still haven’t gotten our food. Very slow service. Only about 30 people in here due to COVID. So no reason should be this slow.... update 11:37 got out food. Was very cold and over cooked. 👎

Myself and 2 cousins went there and the waitress was high off of something she was rude slamming and throwing gift card and my credit card. The cooks had on tank tops very unprofessional had gloves on running in and out of the bathroom thats so foul and disgusting the food was horrible no manager to be found... Never will i ho back there..
Came in from out of town for basketball tournament. We like to go to non traditional places when out of town. Why go to a Dennys or Chipotle when we have that at home! Visited Harrys, I got the Fish Tacos....AMAZING! BOOM BOOM sauce was just right. The service was good even with the social distancing. Music was ok, I like a mixture of music would have been nice to hear some old school 70s or 90s mixed in there. Overall nice place. Husband got Classic Chicken sandwich with boom boom sauce..it didnt stand a chance. My daughter got a pizza.. it was huge and great! Nice place !

Wings were eh, I was unimpressed. They get 2 stars for being greedy. I refuse to patronize establishment that charge for ice or mixer in a cocktail. Its pure greed to have a rocks charge or a mixer charge. I wont go back.EDIT: Today I was pleasantly surprised to receive a message from Macey Gonzales the Manager asking about my experience and to apologize and wanted to know more detail.Right there, they earned 4 stars. I can always look past an underwhelming food order maybe it was an off night or too busy I wont kill a place for one experience.As far as my issue with bar pricing that is strictly personal from having worked as a bartender and bar manager I do not feel mixer or ice in a rocks drink should have an additional charge. Personal opinion no reason not to try them out. I disagree with bar pricing so I will try them again I just will not have a cocktail.Macey Gonzales went above and beyond to reach out to me thats something you dont see. My brother was playing in his band the night we came in. Glad we went. It was a beautiful night so we ate outside. I had the fish and chips, my sister had the tacos. The food was great and so was the service. We were there for hours. Im bringing my grandson in today for wings for his birthday. I will keep coming in. Thank you!😋
This place has horrendously bad food. Five years ago we went here all the time. The food was delicious and the staff was curtious and professional. I have only been here a hand full of times the last couple of years because i keep hoping it will be like it used to be but it never is. Dont bother wasting your time and money here.
Called to place a take out order they did not answer the phone until I was almost right there, when I got there the bartender was all I saw to help me and she ignored me even when I walked around the bar where I saw others being helped. It didnt take that long for my order. I see thats the place to go to chill and drink.
Pretty good food, after all it is a sports bar. The service was EXCELLENT, my husband and I grabbed a few drinks, sandwich, and wings with our friends. Our waitress Eva was so attentive and friendly, definitely made us feel welcome. We come back often, even just to see her!

My GF and I stopped here after a 6hr drive from West Virginia. With COVID places are closing earlier and it was 8 o’clock so we where sure they would be closed. I called to inquire business hours and knew from how nice the girl was on the phone that this place was the GOTO! So we went to have dinner and all I can say is perfection, I had a BBQ bacon burger and it didn’t disappoint at all! The fries are also very well seasoned, crispy, and tasty!Our waiter was the coolest guy ever who made a little conversation without overdoing it, and friendly as all get out!I definitely recommend Harry Buffalo over any other restaurant in Elyria. 10/10
I have been to this restaurant multiple times always have had great service until last night Saturday, March 10, 2018. I understand they were busy, but we waited 20 minutes for someone to walk up to even sit us. Which never happened, We took it upon ourselves to sit ourselves after 3 different parties who came in after us sat themselves.After sitting and waiting another 10 minutes a waitress brought us some menus and said shed be back to take our drink order, we are now on 30 minutes normally I would have left by now but it was an hour drive home. We waited another 10 minutes she never came back so we left and went to IHOP.
Came in this past Monday, waited for the server for 10-15 minutes. Was told that every Wednesday there were half priced burgers, and then was told there was a team meeting that was happening.When she got to the table she was super friendly, food was outstanding, bison burger is out of this world. Appreciate the fact this menu has a good amount of gluten free options. But I am here now waiting on the server.....been here 10 minutes, or so. And when this server got to the table she was snotty and stuck up... terrible customer service. When I asked about the half priced burgers that I was told about on Monday, she asked what that server looks like and she told me that that server was new and doesnt know what shes talking about. So at this team meeting that happened what was talked about?
Nice friendly place, had just one barmaid doing it all though, felt bad for her because the place was hopping. She did a great job!!
Went to my brother in laws surprise birthday party with a relatively large group. The staff handled us well and the food didnt take long at all.Over all a very positive experience!
Came to Harry Buffalo for a family get together for a graduation dinner. Shiquan was our server, I have to say he was Great , he was polite , he was funny, he informed us on everything and he was quick on the refills . We definitely will be coming back and hope Shiquan is our server again thank you Shiquan

The buffalo burger was good, the fries too skinny.Wine low quality brand and expensiveToilet needed a deep clean.The smoking area allowed a cold wind into the eating area, if some one had been smoking then the smoke would have blown in.Waitress was attentive and knew her menues.
Went there tonight, what awful service. We frequent the East 4th location and what a let down in Elyria. My review could take forever to read so heres a recap*Slow service on a slow day*Missing food on one order and an entire order for another*Stadium fry appetizer total let down*Waitress abandoned our table*Bar drink forgot*kids drink forgot*watched a table order drinks and then leave due to no service*manager came to help by removing the missing meal and 1.00 (????) Only to remove the wrong (cheaper) meal.*waited 20 plus minutes to revieve a bill*waited another 20 plus minutes to get the bill rectified*waited another 10 minutes to get the bill back.Literally was quicker for the restaurant manager to call us after submitting the letter to corporate then to pay our bill inside the restaurant.Ive had poor service, but this doesnt even come close. Total disappointment for a new location.I DO need to give MAJOR credit to the 2nd waitress who came up (blonde hair) to help when we looked totally confused and brought the missing items asap. And came up AGAIN asking if she could help after waiting for our bill so long.Get it together Elyria!! Yikes.
Nice and relaxed. Decent place for food and conversation. The service was great. Our server was attentive and quite knowledgeable.. We really enjoyed her service. The food was nicely prepared and the taste was on par.I would visit again.
Food is good, servers are always nice. Ive been about a dozen times and never once have we not had at least a few mistakes on our order. Not enough to stop going but wish they were a little tighter in their execution
Was there for a fund raiser. It was NFL Draft day so the place was crowded. But the servers and bartenders were nice and pleasant and kept up with food and drink orders. Look forward to going back and maybe sit outside if weather permits.
Went there to buy a ticket for the Queen of Hearts! What a joke! Stood for over 30 minutes to get a pop! Never got it btw! Got pizza and wings. Pizza had no sauce and the wings were actually chicken nuggets with a sauce on the side! Never again! Waste of my night. To top of off the bartenders were rude and one was more interested dancing for some guys in the corner than she was on serving customers. I get it you were busy! Just make it look like you kinda care! Should have paid attention to other reviews- this place needs some help!
Very nice bar and dining room. I was only at this location 1 time and their food didnt seem to be on par with the one in n. Olmsted. I thought it would be much more busy with all the hotels right by the place but it was pretty dead in there. This location will need help to survive. Just my opinion. Good luck!
Terrible experience never going back there. Management should be fired. Dry overcooked food, spaced out waitress (Drugs?) and got a glimpse of the kitchen gross.

The nicest bar in the area. Ive been to other Harry buffalos and its pretty much the same thing. The patio was nice. It opened up to the bar and made it feel very open. The bartender was nice. We just had a beer and some wings. I will visit again.
The ambience was excellent and was very much looking for a great meal and experience. Unfortunately, the staff made me feel like I was third wheel compared to the other 12 regulars that were there. Bartender did not smile once and the rest of the staff made no effort at eye contact or conversation. The medium rare steak I ordered was medium well. It had very good flavor, however. At one point, a gentlemen drinking at the bar (either a manager or owner) proceeded to grab popcorn and tell the bartended it needed to be out because patrons will drink more. Although true, when you say it loud enough for all patrons to hear, it defeats the purpose. Making patrons feel comfortable and welcome can easily overshadow a mediocre meal. A smile and asking how things are every now and again go a long way.
I sat here 3 times and it took over 10 minutes for someone to even serve me. Then when I do order something as simple as wings it takes forever. I am still sitting her 40 minutes now and yet beer is empty and no wings. The service absolutely sucks here.
Terrible. We waited hour+ for the appetizer, which was stale, and only then did the server inform us that veggie burgers werent available. The pizza we ordered was burned, the other burger was entirely wrong, and to top it off, our server spent most of the time we were waiting flirting with some dude at the bar. When we went up to the get the check and leave, the two girls up there were too busy chatting to notice us. We didnt even get comped! Unbelievable.
I had a bison burger and my partner had the spicy beef tacos. My burger was quite tasty. However his tacos or neither spicy nor particularly fulfilling. The waffle fries were fine just slightly this side of not fresh. We were visiting the area and so just looking for something to grab a bite. This was fine hence the four stars.
Great place for lunch during work day, fast, good service and very good food. Had the classic chicken sandwich, excellent!! Easy to eat and get back to the office in an hour.
I love the food here! The spicy BBQ wings and the BBQ chicken pizza are a favorite! Love the patio in the summer! I always make it a point to stop by when Im in the area! Great for a lunchtime meeting!
Went in to get Queen of hearts tickets and have dinner . Got my tickets filled them out and no one even spoke to us. Finally someone asked if we were going to eat . Waitress come back with menus but after another 15 - 20 minutes we left . Been here several other times and never had a problem very disappointed.
They used to be really good as I used to frequent with family and friends at least a couple of times a month. Their food, menu has really deteriorated and the food does not taste fresh, or authentic as it should taste. Service has also gone down hill. Not a place I would take my family for a night out.
The food here is pretty good. If you get the fried chicken tacos just be aware they are sweeter than you might expect them to be. Also spicy.
Waited 10 mins to get a menu, the server didnt know what came on the tacos. I ordered a side salad and pretzel sticks. They ran out of iceberg lettuce and there was a hair in my cheese for pretzels. On the bright side my husband enjoyed his bison burger.

Horrible service by the waitress and horrible customer service from the manager. 70$ bill for half a meal and terrible service. After the waitress admitted to us she made a mistake the manger came back and told me we would have to pay again for another meal. Then after agreeing to make another one they came to the table and said it be another 6 to 8 minutes for the food after waiting 20 minutes that was at 845 we Walked out at 905 with no meal needless to say

Nice clean sports bar atmosphere. Food was great. Service was good but not exceptional. Bison burger seemed like a novelty item but was actually very tasty. This place is worth a try.

Unfortunately the place seems to be going downhill. There was 1 server and the bartender serving the entire place. We counted 24 minutes straight that both were in the kitchen with no one up front taking care of customers. I ordered wings mild and they came out naked with no sauce...i asked for celery, ranch, and blue cheese and when it came there was no celery. So..why didnt ask for it to be taken care of? See 24 minutes straight comment above.

This is a shame that I have to post a one star but by doing so things may change.Stopped in today, between 5:30-6:00pm. Got a beer and not once was I asked if I wanted a menu. Each time I attempted to ask for a menu the bartenders just walked away to talk to fellow employees or customers friends of employees. Only when I was done with my drink and asked for my check, that I was given a menu. This has happened before with these same two bartenders.I enjoy visiting this Harry Buffalo and I am displeased on this visit.

A couple menu changes werent the greatest and the change for the rather obvious pre frozen beef wasnt a great choice especially since we cant choose how we want our order cooked. However, the Bison burgers, wings and the new fries in place of the waffle fries are all delicious and fantastic as all heck. Id say 5/5 but the few changes kinda hurt me from back when i started eating here. 4/5 is a best for me unless things change back.
A little bit slow, food was just okay, when I was there no hostess just figured Id have to find my own seat, I had to ask for server. North Olmsted was better managed. Food was quite good. Great experience.
My favorite place to come in to get traditional wings! The servers and bartenders are awesome and provide great service. Theres also so many options on the menu, so Im always changing it up and havent been disappointed yet!

Early this week I thinknit was Savannah that helped me. i come in numerous times and hage had poor service at this location. She was awesome and should be commended for it. The change in menu was a bit concerning since they removed all my favorites. ordered chicken strips appetizer. Strips were good but cornbread was half cooked in middle and over cooked on ends.
This has gotten really bad. The Bison Burhwr was so over cooked. Yes I ordered it medium. Super dry. Fries were very greasy. There was no one in the place. They won’t be open much longer.
I will never go to this particular Harry Buffalo ever again!Called in take out for 1. Food was done and waiting at the bar when I got there cause I could see it. Took 8 mins for someone to notice me standing there. I was finally handed my food and the bill. After another 5 or 10 mins of standing there with with my now cold food waiting for someone to notice me to take payment I couldnt wait any longer and left without my food. Cold food. Staff was very rude. Its like they ignored me. I made eye contact several times and yet Noone would take my payment. Left and went to subway.So, I will never go back.
The place was jumping when I visited Saturday. Everyone was friendly in the food was great.

Bar tenders are like 10 and act accordingly. Horrible service stood for 10 mins at the bar then to a seat at the bar with my wife for them to give us attitude say the seat are being saved and not even offer a 1st drink yet we left no words said. NEVER AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE!

Walked in at 4pm, half the tables were full, the other half were full of dishes needing to be cleaned. Yes, half the tables needed bussing. Only employee around was the bartender. With not a single clean table to sit at, we walked right back out. What a disgusting dump.

Went there the first time for Queen of Hearts. Wings took forever and were luke warm. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken egg rolls. Absolutely inedible, tasted like rewarmed chicken from the day before. Following week same lengthy order time. Wings were so salty they were also inedible. Worst Harry Buffalo Ive ever been. Im out.

Didnt know they changed the pulled pork sandwich so I thought it was a completely different dish...the pork wasnt even fully pulled apart and most of was dry and rubbery...fries were soggy...waitresses were taking shots...music was so loud i couldnt hear the waitress. Im very unimpressed with this place today.

Horrible place to be during an event. They have a rule that you need to be eating in order to have a seat, but yet the table next to me is literally playing magic cards. If I would post a picture if I could. Long story short, get here hours early or expect to stand.

Even though this place is crazy with the Queen of Hearts event Macey my waitress was very nice and got me in and out quickly. The food again was very good.
I understand what you are saying but your employees asked for a cover charge as I entered the establishment...I wasnt given bad information.. I was id and asked for a 10 dollar cover charge when the guy seen my wallet packed full of money

So I guess if you wear a Pink Shirt and go there, you might just get into with a regular who makes fun of your attire, its considered as causing a fight. The food here is not bad, but I would much rather get wings at BW3. I cant say that they were horrible or even bad, but I can say that they could be better. All in all I wouldnt visit here again, but if someone wanted to go here I wouldnt be opposed.
Awful food! The wings were so tiny that I thought it was a joke. The waffle fries were soggy and cold. Never again. This place is a joke! Buyers beware!!!

Service was good, DO NOT GET THE PRIME RIB. It came out overcooked, sent it back and it came back in 2 minutes cooked correctly, but cold. I guess they didnt microwave it long enough.

The seats were very uncomfortable. The chairs were to tall and they wobbled. The table also was to small and it wobbled too. They need more normal tables and chairs.

2022-03-18Ordered from Uber Eats and food came out over 15 minutes after I was told the order was ready. First thing I asked for was a side of ranch, they forgot that and it took another 4 minutes to get. Bar was not stocked. Server was nice though, bless her heart.

2022-02-06After reading the recent reviews we did not want to go but they were the only ones able to accommodate our large party. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was great. The server was nice and helpful. We were treated well and I would go back. We had fun and they seemed grateful for our business.

2022-01-15We drove 60 miles one way to go to this restaurant. It WAS a family favorite. We got there at 11:15 am. And could not find anyone working. A woman came out finally and said she did not have a cook there and did not know when she would have one. Are you kidding? I should have known. We were there in August and had to come back an hour later because the cook was coming in late. We will never go there again. Anyone intending on going there - go to the Texas Roadhouse. The food and service was excellent. And they had cooks. We will not be back.

2022-03-06Because of the pandemic its been a few years since weve been there. Our last visit, pre-pandemic was awesome. Corn hole out side and lots of beers on tap and the foid was hot and served quickly. How times have changed. I felt bad for the server because she was doing her best. No craft beer on tap. Food took forever and there were only 5 tables in the building with 2 servers on the floor. Mixed drinks were fantastic. Kudos tonthe bartender. In short, it looked like as if they were going out of business. It was a Bummer. Hopefully it improves.

2022-02-24We really loved the location in Strongsville, but decided to try the Elyria location because it was closer. The servers were quick to greet us and bring menus. Food was ordered and came to the table quickly. Ordered a custom bison burger, which came out terrible. Was very well done and dry, onion straws were soggy, and the mushrooms were very burnt. However, the manager came to the table quickly after we spoke with our server, he spoke to us like he really cared about our experience and the food then had the kitchen remake our meal for us. The 2nd time everything was perfect. It was a burger fit for advertising. I would go back again simply because the GM was so nice.

2022-04-03Went for lunch and it feels like this place is dying. We needed a low table so we could use a high chair. There were only two tables like that and they were under burnt out lights in the corner next to a row of broken arcade machines. We couldnt see anything. They had one server working. Only one other group of patrons. A few other people eating alone. The food was actually pretty good, but the atmosphere was really depressing.

2022-06-05The food here is good. The restaurant is not in good shape, the booths are ripped and torn...everything is kind of run down. The staff was very friendly and were working very hard, but you could tell they are extremely understaffed.

2022-04-09Ordered pretzel sticks as an appetizer and ended up with 5 pretzel halves, so 2.5 whole pretzels. They also managed to dry out a bison burger and got fried shrimp over a salad bowl filled with cabbage.

2022-02-16Ordered through Doordash. Boneless wings are chunks of chicken breast which is great, but they are not wet so if you love your bites saucy, order more sauce. Red onions they use in salad are very strong! No salad dressing was included, even though I ordered it. But I ordered celery with Bleu cheese, so at least I had the Bleu cheese dressing. Fries were soggy; not sure if that is their thing but the taste was good. Bag was tied tight, so Im sure the dasher didnt check the order.

2020-08-20Delicious food, excellent service, good prices. This is a favorite when we travel from Lake Erie. The Bison Burgers and Fries are some of our favorites!
