Was always a big fan of wings and fries from here. I swore on them and made so many people fans of them. But lately the foods just been mediocre. Tonight I ordered two orders of wings and an order of seasoned fries. One order of wings only had 5 in the box, the fries had barely any seasoning on them, and it was very clear that everything had been cooked, got cold, and was then microwaved before I got it. I was so disappointed cuz I used to order Happys nearly once a week. Never again until they fix their problems

We ordered 3 subs, 2 of which were pretty good but 1 was disappointing. We got a steak sub, and it looked basically like a Steakum. Not much meat for the price. We usually get pretty good product, but this was an exception.

A note to the owners, delivery drivers are often customers ourselves. While we realize that this is not the most glamorous way of bringing in income, it is still how we make our money to support our families.One thing that we do not like is to be treated as second-class citizens. While we are delivering we are representatives of your customers, and should be treated the same as a customer. In fact, if we fine we like the restaurant, we often become customers ourselves.When a driver has a simple request to use your restroom, I really do not think that it is a huge ask of us to do so. This is what I did tonight. I was told that I was not allowed. So, I will be sure to let other drivers in the community know that they will likely also be treated as second-class citizens at your establishment.We are all just trying to make a living here, and as humans We also need to pay. I will be sure to tell all of my fellow drivers to not visit your establishment.
The food is OK but the inside of the cooking area is filthy. If they mess up your food or never deliver it and give you a credit you cant actually use the credit unless you Pay full price. If I placed an order with a coupon and it never shows up and I get credit for it I cannot get that same order for free the next time because they wont let you use the coupon with the credit even tho There would have never been a problem had they just delivered the pizza within 2 and a 1/2 hours HORRIBLE management... I will never get happys again in Lorain.
The owner/manager here always has an attitude to customers. Never is welcoming. Will not be wasting anymore money here.
Happys food has great flavor and service. I order from them all the time. I really love the rib tips and the macaroni and cheese. The food is very good quality. The delivery people are very friendly with prompt service.
Place is ok. Some of the rib tips I order here were hard to chew, not very tender. Shrimp is breaded, kinda dry. Chicken is ok. Steak Calzones are good. Sometimes you call and they put you on hold like forever. They should have more people answering taking orders. So far I think they have just one person working up front. And when is weekend it gets crazy. Owner should not slave that poor girl.

Absolutely love this place! We dont even live in the same city but we will drive out to Lorain just for Happys Pizza literally our only reason to go out there is to go to Happys! Not only the food but the customer service is always above and beyond! Not to mention that the owner is always available and he is always making sure the food,the service and the experience was/is A1! Awesome business owner & if he feels like it couldve been better (even without complaint) he goes out of the way to make sure the customer is ALWAYS truly satisfied far above expectation!

This place has me livid. This is my second time going there day 1 was great, day two wasn’t so great. I ordered a salad,and got hair in two different spots in my salad. Oh yeah it was black shivered up hair,and was up under the lettuce after I started eating halfway through it is when I realized it.. Apparently no one wears hair nets at this place.. order was offered to be replaced but the manager acted as if he didn’t know how it got there..f (WEAR A HAIRNET PEOPLE)😡😡😡
We are not happy with our Happy’s Pizza order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, salad, and breadsticks with extra pizza sauce and extra salad dressing (which you pay extra for)on their online service (I had not received my extra sauce the last two times I had ordered so I noted this in the comments). We waited well over the sixty minutes our order said it would take. Our food came not only cold but wrong. I received a half bacon half sausage pizza, burnt breadsticks and no pizza sauce whatsoever. The salad looked good and I did get my extra dressing for that. I immediately called Happy’s and told them my order was wrong and wanted My order replaced. I was told because it was an online order all they could do is offer my $5 off my pizza and they would send out the sauces. They said my breadsticks were a little brown (which they knew and sent out anyway) they looked like ribs.. After speaking with two different managers (the second one didn’t even want to come to the phone). We told them they lost a good customer. We will not be returning to this Happy’s. This is how they treat their customers.

If I could take negative stars, I would. Ordered food 2 1/2 hours ago and nothing. A simple pizza couldnt be made and delivered. Never going to give this place any more business. And all my social media followers will be informed and discouraged to give this establishment any business. #PoorCustomerService #PizzaHut

They don’t even deserve 1 star. Owners have 0 respect for there workers as well as being discriminatory. Also you better hope there coolers are properly temped which they are not more then half the time so you will be eating sickening meat, cheese and sauce, let’s not forget the moldy rib tips and the on going nasty sewage issues and mice.

Well the pizza is pretty good..The pulled pork fries were trash. The fries were ok but the pork was old for sure..didnt taste fresh. The rib tips were trash as well..Very tough and fatty..sauce was good but couldnt even eat the rib tips. The chicken tenders were some of the smallest around and were over cooked. Bottom line if I ever go back its for pizza, rest of the food I just dont trust..wasted over 50 bucks on this trash.
I wish I could give them a zero star rating. When we first started ordering from here, food and service was great. But then they started messing up our orders. The person working the front desk is rude and doesnt like to try and make things right when the orders go wrong. This last time we ordered for delivery, we were told 45 minutes to an hour. Ok. Fine. An hour and a half later, we finally got our food. My sub was cold and they didnt give us our sauce for the mozzarella sticks. They just lost another customer.
The service was fast but i also ordered before their rush. There was sauce on the outside and all over the sides inside. The ribs were wrapped in foil and the fries, garlic bread , and cold slaw all piled together. The fries had sauce all over them so ketsup was not needed. The ribs were tough and barely done. The ribs were also cooked in old grease. This was all in a cardboard box. What a waste of money. Maybe the dogs will enjoy it. I sure didnt.
My meal came extremely late . But they offered me a free pop. The slab of ribs were extremely hard. I should have just got rib tips! Then my macaroni was not fully covered and the foil was inside the macaroni! Very disappointed

The food tasted amazing. But they’re getting three stars because I was quoted a 25 minute delivery time. Finally after an hour and fifteen minutes my pizza boy shows up with cold food and no apologies.
Fried chicken was not cooked thoroughly. Was dry with no flavor. The French fries were burnt. It took over an hour for delivery. I will not order from them again. Too many bad experiences.
Order online charged my bank account right away $76. Online said rain into issue. Check my account and the joe g was gone called the store and no order. They said he a month before the return the money but will take my order over the phone and charge me another $76. Wow
Stop putting your blue cheese inside the wings box, makes your blue cheese hot and its unpleasant. Blue cheese supposed to be cold and creamy not watery. Calm down on the salt on the wings.
Ok so I havent been to this happys in about 5 yrs, bad experience with the food. Decided to go today cuz my son wanted to try something different. Well nothing has changed. I got the rib tips and fries with sausage links, slaw and bread. Tips where tough. Fries are over cooked. Slaw is tasteless. The only think good was the links. Gave it 2 stars because at least the food was hot. Never going back
Had a large order w seafood, pizza, chicken and polish boys. The fries soggy. The pizza missing. Seafood tough. Polish boys looked like they been sitting. Chicken sandwich was tough. Food wa cold. I had to reheat everything. Not to mention delivery took 2+ hours. Would have taken me 15 minutes to get it myself. Soooooo very disappointed.
I just moved to Lorain and I wanted catfish . I placed my order for their 2 piece dinner with supposedly featured bread. The fries came out burnt and no salt. The features bread was just a soggy piece of white bread with tasteless garlic butter . And worst of all was the catfish the breading they used was so burnt and tasteless no seasoning!!!
This is the worst pizza establishment in lorain, ohio! I personally only ordered food three times, and every single time they have messed up or was almost a hour late on the delivery! If I were you and was going to order food from happys pizza in lorain..i would go in and order and check everything before i would leave and make sure they had my food ready in a timely manner!!! ..if if wasnt for they mac n cheese mannnnnnn😍😍 lol
Love it! Their pizza is always super cheesey, even without adding extra cheese. Their ribs and sauce are good and their fries are delicious. They have burgers that are unexpectedly awesome, especially since they are from a pizza place.
We order from Happys often. Good food. Our least favorite item on the menu is their pizza. Our favorite stuff to order is their subs, burgers, ribs and chicken. Only complaint would be that the person answering the phone isnt always the nicest and sometimes there is a long wait on hold. The delivery drivers have all been pleasant and they come in a decent amount of time. Theyll continue to get our business as long as we live in this area.
Im a doordash driver and this place always has orders ready within 1-5 minutes of arriving and the guy working the register tonight was awesome.
I ordered at 6pm and the food didnt arrive until after 8. My order was wrong, but I was still charged for the item I didnt receive. The guy answering the phones was slow and impossible to understand. When I called and asked about my order he told me he would send a free soda but didnt. The delivery woman was friendly, polite, and luckily had a soda in her car. Over priced an terrible service. Never ordering from there again...
I love this pizza place! They offer so much more then pizza. I get the ribs at least once a week and my wife loves the chicken. I have never been disappointed. The employees are friendly and the restuarant is clean.

Tonight theyve lost faithful customers. We ordered slightly before 10 pm. Its now 11:40 and we still have no delivery. Was clearly told 45 minutes to one hour for delivery. At this point, I dont even want the food.
I waited 2 hours for my food. My shrimp was cold and my fries were cold and hard. Not a good experience at all. I dont know if Ill order from there again. I should get a full refund
The food is always good, hot and fresh. Last night my order took longer to make than it should have. The nice lady at the counter gave me a free 20oz Pepsi so all is well!
Sooooo I ordered a pizza medium pizza last night from this place and noticed that i was charged twice for the same pizza. I didnt get a receipt and when i showed the manager the double charge, instead of giving me a refund he just kept showing me the same receipt. This has happened 3 times already at this place. Dont go here!!! The food is ok but you might get overcharged.
I want to love this place because I love the taste of the food but they keep ripping me off. Story time:The last time I ordered from them was the very first time I ordered from them. I got a 4 piece fish and chips dinner box with a small cheese pizza, light sauce, a Greek salad, and like a box of fries. There was no sauce on the pizza (which was okay) but we only got 3 pieces of fish in the dinner. Its fine. We loved the food anyways.Well tonight I ordered another cheese pizza (regular sauce), garlic butter wedges, a tossed salad with only lettuce and cheese, and a 4 piece fish and chips dinner. But this time I asked I asked if I could add more pieces of fish - to be sure we got enough. I asked how much it would be to add 4 more pieces (so 8 total) and he told me it would be $10 More dollars (the dinner is 4 pieces of fried fish with fries for $10.99). I said okay so what about just 2 more pieces of fish and he told me it would be $5 more dollars... For two pieces of fried fish the size of my palm (and Im a small lady). Its fine though, we like the food so I said okay Ill do 2 more (so 6 pieces total).I picked up the food 30 minutes later at 11:45pm and took it to the house (less than 3 minutes away)so everyone could eat but I then left to pick up some things from Walgreens on Leavitt and would eat when I got back. I got a call from my partner on the way back who told me that the salad was just cheese. He sent me a picture and I passed the house up to try to get to Happys go see if anyone was there.Luckily even though it was 12:10am there was still 2 men inside. I jumped out of my car and told the men that I needed lettuce with the cheese salad and he said there WAS lettuce. I showed him the pictures and I said its pretty much all shredded cheese as you can see. He chuckled and said that he made the salad and he should know and pointed at the picture which was clearly a picture of shredded cheese with some pieces of shredded lettuce here and there. His friend/coworker said nothing but had a little chuckle as well. Ive never felt so unheard and embarrassed in my life. I thought, how could he be looking at this picture and really think this is a salad? It was a clear plastic container of mainly shredded, white cheese. If I can post the pictures I will but I am not seeing a place for that. He then asked for my number and name and said I could come back tomorrow and get a refund of $5.99 for the salad (but I do believe it was only $4.99).I then went to Walmart on Leavitt since it was the only place open at that hour and got a bag of salad. The salad was for my daughter so of course I had to get it somehow, you know? I get home and ask how the food is, everyone likes it. I ask how many pieces of fish were in the box (because my partner and I were to share the 6 pieces) and he told me 5. I tell him that I paid $5 for 2 more pieces so that we could have 6 (3 per person) and at that point were both just so unHappy.
I did an online order, it took over an hour to get my order delivered. Called and they said it should be here any minute now. Still was not here. Cant see how they stay in business with the way they do there service. Just aweful. Dont think Ill be ordering from there again. And its a shame cause I really like the food. Poor customer service. VERY POOR!!! Update: I ordered at 6:32 and did not recieve my order till 8pm. After calling twice. Business was not even trying to compensate me in anyway shape or form. Driver said they were busy but the store said they couldnt locate him. Never again will they get my business.. NEVER
Horrible fatty and tough ribs, the only reason i went there was for the ribs and they werent even mediocre. I ended up taking the meat off the bones and feeding it to my dogs. Another review should be given on how dirty the bathrooms are at this place. If that is any indication of how well kept their kitchen probably is... it would probably make your stomach turn.
Man.. My first time ordering from Happys and I got a cheeseburger and fries, rib tips and banana pudding. I was so impressed with their menu and how stocked it was, I had to! I didnt know they had so many items to choose from. Delivery didnt take as long as website said, which is a huge plus. Also, OMG YOUR FOOD IS SO GOOD!! i just ordered for my 2nd time and got another cheeseburger. These things are amazing. Mmm. Love Happys.
Visiting from out of town. Lived in this “wonderful” city many years ago before Happy’s was here. I don’t like too many restaurants pizza, but I give this place the thumbs up. Yeah, you make a pretty good pizza pie. I would have given 4 stars, but the rest of the honorary Lorainians at the table insisted it was 5 stars. Not skimpy pizza at all-pretty substantial. Nice. The Delivery People are always nice, there are many food choices and the food is always great... My only negative on it... Is when you choose delivery, its always over an hour in wait time, and it normally takes that long... Other than that... I love it here.

Not a very friendly place. I just called and received the worst possible Customer Service ever! Not to mention, I was hung up on two times before I actually had someone answer... The poor Customer Service was enough for me to not even chance ordering from this place! Wow! What a horrible first impression! I will be sure to let my family and friends know!
Doesnt seem very happy inside. Not very reasonably priced either, in my opinion anyways, for the quality and atmosphere. Seems I could have driven right across the street to Apples grocery store and gotten better fried chicken and jojos from their hot food area for less money and nicer service.
When we first started ordering from here early this year it was great.....now I cant say the same sadly because we loved their food.....we ordered today and half of it was terrible.....the fried chicken wasnt cooked fully, the tenders werent crispy they were floppy & soft, I asked for extra crispy fries they came out mushy.....was suppose to get two Cole slaws & two breads, got one of each.....we spend a lot there on every order because we order for leftovers for the next day.....seems to be not worth the money or travel to pick it up now, we live in Elyria so they dont deliver to us.....I dont know if theres new ppl now but not the same and as satisfying as before. When I called to ask a question before ordering the guy answered hello so wasnt sure if I called the right place til I asked if it was Happys Pizza and he says oh yeah, maybe needs better customer service too! Very disappointed! Will hesitate to order from there next time if the poor quality continues!

The first time I ate here it was great but did take a little while for my food to get delivered. Today on the other hand was terrible I waited about 2 hours for my food then when i finally got my food it was cold.
We are from Columbus Oh and we tried Happys for the first time . The food was great but getting the food on time was very poor. They said 15mins and it took 1/2 hour. The manager was not helpful at all.
Change the fry oil every once in awhile u will be amazed with the taste.. God awful taste with the last order.. For what you charge for food change the oil

Every deep dish and stuffed cheese bread is full of raw dough every time I make them replace it every time once they messed it up 3 times in one night they came back with a new one and delivered another raw one 3 times!!!!!!!!!
This was the 2nd time I ordered from here for delivery, when the driver arrived he turned my box sideways, all the cheese went to the side of the box, it was cold not worth the $3.50 they charge for delivery. Goodbye Happys

This place is staffed with inarticulate idiots...who not only cant get an order right if their lives depended on it..but the food will put you in the hospital with food poisoning . Crust is tasteless. To me, when I order a pizza, the crust has to be good but with their pizza, the ingredients are okay but the crust has no taste and that is what makes the pizza.

2022-07-16We ordered an extra large thin crust pizza. It was outstanding. I love the sauce. The service was good. We will be ordering more pizzas in the future. We would highly recommend Happys Pizza to any pizza lover.

2022-06-24I am picky about my pizza, and Happys is on my short list. I especially love their thin crust pizzas. There is always ample cheese and toppings are fresh and tasty. The salads are also very fresh and plentiful.

2022-07-02Ordered 2 subs, the steak and the Italian and paid extra for added bacon, the steak sub tasted dry, the Italian sub was mostly lettuce and 1 piece of bacon. Also ordered mozzarella sticks which had liquid leaking from them and some had no cheese at all. Not worth the price they charge.

2022-05-04First time ordering I was happy before I got my order they are one of the few places that have green olives as a topping then I got my order was satisfied the service was great too hard to find good pizza will definitely be ordering again

2021-08-10Who would have guessed a place that does everything has a solid pizza!!! I was amazingly surprised at the quality and flavor of their deluxe pizza! The toppings where of good quality and the size of the pizza was enough to feed the whole family. Definitely would recommend to eat local vs the chains!

2021-02-17This was our first time ordering and have lived in the area for 14 years. The service was great. The delivery was quick. The pizza had the chance to be really awesome, with a great airy crust. The deal breaker was that the sauce was way too spicy. None of us could get past the first piece. It was really unfortunate. We were looking for a good pizza, that delivered, since others in the area have tanked.
