Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in other cities:
I booked a prenatal massage for August 8th and the tech licensed to do prenatal massages called in “sick” rescheduled my appointment for today, August 15th and the same tech is a no call no show… all I wanted was a relaxing day and being 36 weeks pregnant, I deserve one. This is unacceptable behavior and that tech should be let go! If they can’t trust her to show up for appointments then how can you trust her to work for your company. You just lost mine and others business. The receptionist was very sweet and tried to accommodate with another appointment. This girl has to work and can’t time off before maternity leave for a massage. It has to be nights or weekends. Oh well…
I went in for a massage. I had been there twice in 7 days with the same therapist. Because I did not tip him as much the first time which was well beyond.... The office manager called to question me about why. Quite frankly I was appalled by her questions and told her so. Don’t count my money period. I have a membership but will not be supporting this location. It would seem to me if this is a common practice then this is why the therapist does not have repeat customers as he stated in our session he has had a hard time keeping regular customers at this location. Way to go office manager on alienating clients during a whole pandemic. I see why you have a high turn over rate in that office.
I scheduled a massage with James at the Dublin Hand & Stone Facisl and Massage Spa. He help me by removing tension in my back and neck that built up from working at a computer and sitting a lot. James is also a very nice person and cares about making a person feel comfortable!
I booked an hour Swedish Massage and several add on (foot, hands, head), thinking it would be an hour back Massage (what I needed/wanted), +10 minutes extra each for the add on, so roughly 1.5 hours. Did not realize you only book for 1 hour, and they do said add ons in that hour. So the treatments were nice, and my Massage therapist was great, but I never actually got the Swedish Massage I came in for. After the ad ons were done, she worked on my neck and shoulders a bit, but then I was done, and sent out to pay. Never actually got the Swedish Massage I originally booked for my back pain. I wish their site explained this more. I was so caught off guard by this, I asked at the front desk a few times about But, what about the Swedish Massage?, and they let me know you just book for the hour. So I paid for the ad on, and the Swedish Massage I never got, and went to my car, and sat in the parking lot, still with back pain, crying out of frustration for paying so much for a service I feel like I didnt actually get.
Hand and Stone is extremely professional. The staff at the front desk were so polite, accommodating, and informative. They left such a good impression on me, it made it easy to sign up for their membership program. I really like that the membership program allows you to invite guests at your discounted rate and you can cancel at any time.At my first visit, I decided to upgrade my massage to the hot stone massage. I told the gentleman doing the massage my problem areas but I think he was so concerned with giving me the full effect of the hot stones that he did not focus on the problem areas we had discussed. So, on my next visit I am trying a different masseuse.
Hands down the best massages I’ve ever received. I’m a dental hygienist, and need massages frequently due to the stress I put on my body on a daily basis. The entire staff from the front desk to therapists are professional, helpful and very friendly. I loved them so much I purchased a membership.I recently had my first prenatal massage by Clinton, and he was nothing short incredible. His knowledge regarding pregnancy was comforting and impressive.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their services. My massage was great. It helped me get more range of motion a couple of days after I had a bad fall on some ice. Latrisha recommended me to add 2 things to my massage before we got started and both thing definitely help me relax more and feel even better. I will definitely be going back!
Hand and Stone is very professional and made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. The way they carry themselves as a business made it easy for me to sign up for the membership program. The massage was great, the therapist was able to relieve all of the target areas that had been bothering me and I left feeling very loose! Will definitely continue to use the membership going forward!
The Spa is nice and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I was very disappointed in my facial service. I’ve had 100 facials in my life and never had a facial where my face actually wasn’t massaged, or my arms, or hands. Her touch was so incredibly light I could barely feel her hands. If management or the lead hasn’t had a facial by this staff member then you need too! You’re definitely not going to retain a clientele with services like this. I actually contemplated ending the service early because it just wasn’t good. I completely wasted my time & money on this facial.
Awesome location, services, staff, and overall atmosphere. I enjoyed it so much my first visit that I signed up for the monthly program, which I think is worth it if you want to work massage into your regular schedule. They offer everything from facials, massages, hair removal, etc. They also have a small menu of enhancements you can select from for every service type, which I think is a great way to boost your visit in a different way every time.I havent had a massage/facial I didnt like, nor met a staff member who was anything less than pleasant and informative. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area, or just passing through. Im a regular, and look forward to every appointment I make.
I continue to be impressed with the ownership and front desk staff at Hand and Stone in Dublin. Their unfailing politeness and efforts to accommodate are second to none. Their therapist, Clinton, seems to have an innate sense of my specific needs and manages each session with professionalism and integrity. I would recommend the family at Hand and Stone to my own family any day.
First of all, the massage was only 45-50 min. I have been going to a different massage therapist monthly for three years and she always privided an entire 60 minute massage. Second of all, I asked for my neck, shoulders, back and arms to be focused on with medium intensity pressure. I carry around a 10 month old and crochet frequently so they were areas of most discomfort. The therapist only did my shoulders and back. No arms and no neck. Then she all of a sudden began using hot stones on my back which I didnt ask for. It was super uncomfortable. She never even asked if its something I would like, she just did it. Very unprofessional. Other than that, the massage itself was mediocre. After seeing the same MT for three years straight I was used to a certain kind of pressure and this lady was just not providing it. I was hoping to find a great replacement for my monthly massages since moving to Marysville from Hilliard but it looks like Ill be making the drive to see Candace at Waters of Atlantis in Hilliard.
I (finally) found a spa company that offers an exceptional monthly program that isnt going to break my wallet and that gives me the personal relaxation care that I need for my well-being. I look forward to my me time every month with either a relaxing massage to eliminate my neck, shoulder and back tension or a facial to achieve a healthy glow. I love the fact that you can add a friend/family member for an additional 10% off and they get your member pricing for 2 sessions in the first 6 months regardless. Great monthly program!
Absolutely terrible management and ownership. I worked at here for a short period of time and was scheduled to work 90 hours in a 14 day period. Guests complained about the turnover rate in their service providers but I don’t blame the service providers for leaving. Everything the employees say is scripted and it all feels like a pyramid scheme to join their membership. My paycheck was withheld from me past payday, a federal offense, because I hadn’t yet returned my 2 uniform shirts and name tag. Highly don’t recommend this spa, support your local business and not a chain establishment :)
UPDATE:(5 stars again)Ive been coming to Hand & Stone in Dublin for over two years and its the best decision I ever made. The owners are so warm and kind, while managing a team of talented staff and many complex scheduling jigsaw puzzles! No matter who I see, I am pleased with my experience. Abbe and Leanna are excellent massage therapists. Im thankful Brent and Colleen (the owners) suggested I see them. Theyve learned the types of massage I enjoy and successfully matched me with therapists who can meet my needs. Im very happy to be a long-time, repeat client!(5 stars)I always have the best experiences here! The staff always greets me when I arrive and makes me feel so welcome from the moment I walk in the door until the moment I exit. They feel like family! Ive had excellent massages with Trent and recently enjoyed a great facial with Morgan. I always look forward to my next monthly visit. Thank you, Hand & Stone Dublin!(original review: 4 stars)Professional, clean services! Excellent team! Great place for massages and the monthly member pricing is a great deal. Very glad I signed up to become a member. My monthly massage is the best thing ever!
Clinton works wonders! I highly recommend him and this business. The monthly membership is comparable to other spas but your unused massages carry over from month to month. This creates the flexibility I needed. I was satisfied with the membership and the great atmosphere but, with Clinton, I wouldnt consider anywhere else.
I am a member at Hand & Stone, and continue to have mixed experiences with their Dublin location. Some days are wonderful and others are not good at all. Most recently was one of the not-so-great experiences. I need to use up monthly massages so I had scheduled specifically to use 2 of them with an 80 min deep tissue massage (which I only learned about as a possibility from using Hand & Stone in a different state). As it turned out, even though it was requested in writing from the initial appointment and reiterated on the phone, no one relayed this message to the therapist. I did not receive the massage I signed up for, and ended up over-paying for the experience I had. The first massage I ever had with them was fantastic - I was then told I could not request to see that therapist again unless I had 2 massages that I was unhappy with. I will use the remainder of my monthly massages and then cancel, as I cannot justify this expense for such mixed and inconsistent experiences
My Hand and Stone experience at the Dublin location wasn’t the best. My esthetician was kind, but made the experience a little awkward. As products were “soaking in” for 3-7 minutes on my face, she sat over me in silence the entire time, just watching me. I just couldn’t get relaxed; which was my intention of getting the facial. The machines in the room were noisy and the bed was very uncomfortable for my neck. The part that makes me not want to return to the Dublin location was when the receptionist would not take no for an answer that I didn’t want to proceed with a membership. I politely listened to her sales pitch, and declined. She asked the reason and I told her I just bought a car so I wasn’t look for unnecessary expenses. She told me that if I just didn’t “go out” one night a week this would pay for me to be able to get a facial or massage every month and that the membership isn’t that expensive. Again, I declined. She was speaking loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear this private conversation. She then announced to everyone that I “couldn’t afford it” and proceeded to be rude because I wouldn’t buy the membership.Besides this receptionist, the other staff were pleasant, but I won’t be returning.
Recently I went to have another massage and was very well pleased with the young lady who gave me my massage.Everyone makes you feel so relaxed, plus they dont rush you through like you dont count.Thank you Hand & Stone I needed the right person to relieve take my muscle stress. Try it just once or try the hot stones..youll love it.
Loved my experience here but I have tried 4 times now to cancel my account as I have moved away from the Columbus area and am no longer to come in. Each time I am told a manager is unavailable and going to call me back but I have not received the calls. Due to this delay, I have been charged for another month. I do not recommend signing up for an account unless you are in it for the long haul.
I was so looking forward to my massage today and I left feeling so disappointed. I have been a member of Hand and Stone for several years now in Ft. Worth, TX. We recently moved to Ohio and I decided to try this location today. When I schedule the appointment I requested deep tissue massage. When I arrived I was half heartedly greeted by the girl behind the desk and then given paperwork to fill out for the location by a male employee who may have been a manager. No one offered to show me around, offered me a water, or generally made me feel welcome in any way. Honestly I wasn’t particularly bothered by that, but in hindsight it should have been a red flag. The massage was, hands down, the worst massage I have ever received. The therapist asked what kind of pressure I wanted. I said “Firm. I can take a lot”. For the next 50 minutes there were times that I didn’t even know for sure if she was touching me. At one point she asked me if it was too firm and I thought surely she must be joking. Seriously, there was nothing firm about it. It was like an hour long weak hand shake, with me lying there feeling agitated about it the whole time. When I approached the counter to check out I was asked how everything was. I responded that I was actually pretty disappointed and that next time I needed to book with someone who had a firm grip. The girl behind the counter sighed, shrugged her shoulders and said “um do you want to fill out a comment or something?” I declined (based on the attitude). Then, and this was the breaking point, she said “you owe $16 for the deep tissue add on”. I have never been asked to pay more for deep tissue and furthermore, that massage could not have possibly been further from being deep tissue. At that point I paid the $16 so I could leave. I went out to the car and called the Polaris location to make an appointment. Hoping for a much better result there. I will not be returning to this location any time soon.
I have gone to Hand & Stone many times. I am always greeted by a friendly person as I walk in the door. They offer services without being pushy. The massage therapists that I have had are all amazing and really listen to what the customer wants. I joined their membership program and I am glad that I did!
I have been a member twice now with Hand and Stone. I love the atmosphere and have always enjoyed my visits. Jamal is the best massage therapist there. He is so polite and does an amazing job. Every response from him is yes maam which really stands out. I recently downgraded my membership to bi-monthly which is great because I am not able to get in as often as I would like but can now just pay for 6 services instead of the full 12 that take me forever to use up.The one thing I do have an issue with is how sales-based some of the frontline team members can be. I understand that its a business, but not everyone who walks through the door is interested in membership. I brought my friend in as a referral and she really liked the service, but was turned off from a membership solely based on how insistent and pushy the girl at the desk was being. She even went as far to ask why dont you want a membership? which made myself and my friend a bit uncomfortable.Aside from that, there is one gentleman at the desk who stands out among the rest, and that is Jordan. Ive booked a few appointments with him and he is always genuine and helpful. Just yesterday I booked a massage and facial for myself and I ended up having to make some adjustments within the 24-hour window. I work in membership as well, so I understand there are rules and policies when it comes to cancelations and adjustments. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Coming from a similar industry, I truly appreciate his willingness to do the right thing for a member. This instance alone is one reason I will continue to be a loyal member of Hand and Stone. Thank you, Jordan!
Latrisha did a fantastic job on my massage. There was more up selling before and after my massage than I’d like. Also be prepared if you have a gift card for the process to just seem odd. They wanted to confirm the card over the phone and I didn’t have it with me. I was able to use it no problem but just found it odd.
Clinton is fabulous. I think your experience depends on your therapist and I highly recommend Clinton. I canceled my membership because it was hard for me to get there monthly. But I will pay to see Clinton again. Thanks for not trying to push me back into a monthly membership.
If I could give this place one less star, I would. I called in for a same day appointment, I was told over the phone that the introductory price was $49.95 for my massage. The massage was great, but I have never dealt with worse customer service. I had already paid the introductory price once my visit was over and then a lady comes running out of the back insisting I have to pay the regular price because I did not pay online. I was NEVER made aware of this online payment earlier in the day when I was booking the initial appointment over the phone, Though I made the receptionist aware that the man on the phone did not bring up the online prepayment whatsoever she INSISTED I pay the regular price. So all in all I had to hand over my credit card AGAIN to them. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. It ruined my relaxation and stress relieving massage I had to pay extra for...
Wish I could give them less. Used for a year, then, after trying to cut costs in order to save for a house, as well as my normal masseuse leaving and no one telling me before I showed up for my appointment, I decided to cancel. When canceling, all they did was try to sell me on staying while I was signing papers. NEVER ONCE did they tell me that my service credits would expire within 90 days because they were too busy harassing me to stay. When I called to use the remaining two massages I had I was told they had expired a week prior and there was nothing to be done. Then, we I expressed my dissatisfaction with the fact that they had never mentioned this and just given me a sales pitch, they proceeded to give me another sales pitch without ever addressing the concerns. I will never recommend this as all these people saw was dollar signs and not the person.
It is very rare that I write a negative review but after hearing the experience my family went through I felt I should lend some knowledge to customers who may think about going here. My mom went went in for a massage and ended up getting a package. Long story short she loved the massage therapist, however, after her massage the front desk staff was uncomfortably trying to sell her more products. Later on they charged her card when she did not authorize it. They never remedied the situation and when she tried to close her membership she was verbally harrased as to why she was leaving. It was a horrible experience! During the same time period my husband was also getting massages there, great massage therapist, but every time he would leave his massage the front desk staff would push their products to the point of uncomfort. I went in once myself and tried to politely ask that they not try to sell me any packages and was met with incessant sales tactics. The massage therapist we saw was incredible but the business side of Hand and Stone is absolutely deplorable!!!!! PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!
I was a member here a couple of years ago. They seemed to have high turnover, and even changed management/owners at least once during that time, even though they were relatively new to begin with. The massage quality was inconsistent and varied from excruciatingly painful, to so soft I could have received the same result by rolling around on my extra firm pillow. There were a couple of people that were amazing, but they were always gone by the time I wished to book a 2nd or 3rd appt (in part because i didnt have time to go every month, so there may have been 2-3 months between my visits). I would never recommend a facial here. One time I had a facial, and the lady kept disappearing during our session, didnt explain anything from one step to the next, and my face didnt feel any different by the time i left. If all i wanted was to have lotion rubbed around my face, I would have stayed home. I was told that even after i terminated my membership due to moving out of state, I could still use my remaining services on my account. Never did they tell me I only have 3 months to use them. When I called to schedule an appt later to use my remaining 2 services, they said i was no longer a member and those had expired. So, essentially this place robbed me of $180, since i paid $89/mo for my membership.
This location is unbelievable! Colleen and Brent were absolutely wonderful! They took care of me from the start! Just calling in and making a last minute appointment to getting me a great price! I will never go to another location. I’ve been to the Polaris location and had some issues. My opinion customer service is where it all starts. This location clearly has that at the top of their list! My therapist was literally fanaminal. I will be back. Thank you Colleen and Brent for the great experience.
I purchased gift certificates from Hand and Stone to give to friends after a death in their family. Due to the amount I was spending, I was told it would be a better financial decision to become a Hand and Stone member. I knew that I would not continue to be a member for long, however, it seemed like the best option at the time. I used one of my membership massages but I let the others roll over to future months, which I was told I could do. After a couple of months of my membership, I called to cancel. While cancelling, I confirmed that I could still use my membership massages that I had accrued. I was never told that they would expire (let alone expire within a certain timeframe) or I would have booked my remaining treatments that day. Any sane person would do the same. Who would knowingly let massages that were already paid for expire?Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I called to schedule a massage. Upon scheduling, I was told that all of my membership massages had expired. After asking numerous questions and speaking with a manager, I found out that the gift certificates I had purchased for my friends were also expired and there wasnt anything that could be done as they are under new management. The manager proceeded to tell me that I signed that the membership deals and gift certificates would expire when I agreed to their terms and conditions.I understand that my membership benefits are expired. It is unfortunate and a poor business practice for an employee to not reiterate (since its safe to say not everyone reads terms and conditions) that information verbally, but to some extent I see where they are coming from. However, it is unacceptable that there wasnt anything that could be done for the gift certificates, especially since those that received them did not know when they were purchased or the date they expired (since they did not have access to the terms and conditions) and an expiration date is also not listed on the gift certificates. All in all, I would not recommend becoming a member and if you decide to take the risk to purchase gift certificates, make sure you provide the full terms and conditions information and share with the recipient when the gift certificate expires.Hopefully the new Hand and Stone management does a better job than the previous group, although, Im not sure if theyre off to a great start.
Run from this place ....we booked way ahead of schedule. Drove 2 hours to this establishment. They changed the time on us once, told us 3 days before they couldn’t do the stone massage but could do Himalayan. We compromised. Arrived as scheduled to be told no one was there that was certified to do stones would we like a regular massage. We of course left. Not happy. The whole reason we chose this place was the stones and planned the entire weekend around this spot. Horrible horrible business practice.
I had a great experience with Felicia. She made me very comfortable and explained what she was doing because I was a little jumpy. She also explained what I could do better with my skin care routine. Can’t wait to go back and hopefully do the microdermabrasion next month!
Felicia at Hand & Stone in Dublin is absolutely amazing! She listens to what my goals are for my skin and helps me achieve them in a relaxing and calming environment. Some months I need a little extra like Microdermabrasion and other months I just need a classic facial. Felicia is honest, skilled and not pushy! She truly wants what is best for me.
Hand and Stone exceeded expectations this week. Brent and Tiana cleared up my confusion about a lapsed membership, and patiently explained the details of future membership to me. I had a very relaxing massage by Trent that helped my sore muscles from mulching the yard. I had the hot stone massage with medium to light pressure and it was perfect. I recommend them.
Very poor experience in terms of massage and customer service. I never signed up for monthly membership but they kept on charging me even after my repeated calls and discussions with them. Please be careful when providing your credit card number to this place, they will use it and make you run for your money.
I used to think that this was a very nice special place to get a Massage...then the best Massage Therapist Ive ever had, Paige Middleton, ended up being forced to leave on August 31st, 2017. She left for various reasons, but mostly didnt like the way she was being treated by management. Keep in mind, I only went to this spa, because of Paige. She left, and on September 1st, I received a phone call, that my massage would not be happening today because Paige was out sick..At that point I already knew that she had quit....but I remained quiet. I waited for the truth but never heard it.Then two weeks later, on September 15, 2017 I waited and waited for a call that my appointment would be canceled. There was no call...finally at 11:20 am, I phoned them and left a message, asking to speak to Colleen and or Brent. About 30 minutes later, Laura called me...I explained to her that I wanted to speak with one of the owners, Colleen or Brent...she said they were not in. She also said that she was just about to call me when I called. She told me that Paige was on extended leave. I then told her that I already knew Paige Middleton had left their company and had been waiting on someone to tell me the truth. She informed me that the employees had been told to tell Paiges customers that she was on extended leave.I told Laura that I wanted a call from Colleen or Brent regarding a refund of my monthly charge of 64.45 That the took from me on August 28th...4 days before they should have. Reason being, these owners new if I didnt have Paige as my therapist, I would not come to their Spa.I also told Laura I did not expect to be charged any further.Buyer be ware....these owners do not really care about their customers...if they did, they would approach a customer with the truth. Apparently the almighty dollar is more important. It has now been 94 hours since I requested a call from Colleen or Brent...so far nothing, and my 64.45 has not been returned to my card.Again...BUYER BE VERY AWARE....*****PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN OR CHARGE ME AGAIN****YOU ALREADY TOOK 64.45 FROM ME....HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT WHEN TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH SUCH DISRESPECT?*****9/20/17**UPDATE**my August money they took was refunded. Much to my surprise. Stand up for yourself and your beliefs...that would be the lesson learned.
Would give 5 stars for Erica who did my facial but the way Colleen treats customers and employees is atrocious. Would not go back there ever again because of her. I had a bad experience with her then when I complained and went back for a second time my friend witnessed her yell at an employee claiming they did something wrong then sheadmitting that they had accidentally charged a customer for something they shouldn’t have. (She did not realize friend was sitting in waiting room) Save a trip here, spend more money somewhere else and get a better experience
I was threatened with collections after canceling my membership. I wanted to take a break from services. I would have probably returned, as I enjoyed the services. The customer service is horrible!Update: This issue was resolved. Hand and Stone has heard and taken care of my complaints.
Please dont waste your money with this place an be careful giving any credit card information. I put my account on hold and was then charged anyway and they refused to refund the amount. I then cancelled my membership due to the horrendous customer service I received and was subsequently charged another month. Apparently this place feels it is ok to steal money even when memberships have been cancelled.
I love this location. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and clean. I’ve had several massage appointments and the staff members are professional and experienced. I’d recommend this location to anyone who wants a massage or facial. 👍🏼👍🏼
I cannot express enough the disrespect, dishonesty and unprofessional of this establishment. There was a problem with the payment - I had packages left, but yet they charged me. When I called to get the problem rectified Zach the manager accused me of lying and was unhelpful and disrespectful. I am shocked by the lack of customer service. You can trust I will tell everyone I know never to visit this establishment or any other hand and stone massage store. Absolutely ridiculous.
I always have a great experience at Hand & Stone. I have never waited in the waiting room for a significant amount of time, the environment is relaxing and comfortable, the therapists have always been great and the membership keeps me accountable to do something for myself monthly!
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DONT GO HERE FOR ANY SERVICES ! I had scheduled a microdermabrasion, and was told when scheduling that they perform microdermabrasions there. As soon as I got there they had me confirm that I was there for a microdermabrasion and shortly after I heard the front desk workers whispering in the back about my appointment. I was then approach by someone from the office staff that told me that although I had scheduled for a microdermabrasion, they are going to let the “experts” decide what would be best for my skin...fast forward a bit; I end up never getting the microdermabrasion because the staff I spoke with said that the “experts” decide what service I should get done, even though my original appointment was for a MICRODERMABRASION! My esthetician kept steering me away from the topic (which was the original reason why I was there!) They also upcharged me for a special facial that I wasn’t given a say on if I wanted to pay more for it or not and they made me feel like it was my fault that I didn’t get the service I orinigally scheduled for. This place is horrible, I don’t even think they have someone qualified to perform a microdermabrasion which is why they skirted around the topic the entire time. Sickening.
Horrible customer service. Called to make an appointment and was put on hold two times. Took 8 minutes to schedule one appointment. When I showed up- had no record of me making appointment and I sat in the waiting room for half an hour while they whispered to figure out what to do. Got sent home with no compensation- attempted to make another appointment and the exact same thing happened. Although they said they made an appointment- the following day when I tried to confirm there was no record of it. Avoid this place!!

2022-02-15My boyfriend bought as a couples massage for us last year. However, due to the pandemic, we couldnt book until now. After the massage, we were charged an extra fee because prices went up this year and taxes were not paid when the massage was initially bought. Im confused why we had to pay extra for a pre-bought service and how taxes were not paid when the service was bought?? READ THE FINE PRINT EVERYONE!Then when we were also checking out, the receptionist tried to sell us monthly memberships, which we declined. She continued to ask us why we werent interested and would not accept no for an answer. She was very pushy! The spa is a place to go to relax, not get pushed to buy things you dont want. Finally, our massage started 10 minutes late despite us being early. We arrived early to ensure paperwork was filled out and that our service started on time. We werent even called back until 10 minutes after our service was scheduled, and then we only received a 45 minute massage instead of the full 60 minutes.Overall this was not a relaxing experience and we were highly dissatisfied. We wouldnt recommend this spa to anyone. They are overly expensive for no reason. There are far superior spas in Columbus.

2022-03-21I went in for a facial that my boyfriend booked for me as a surprise for my birthday..no matter how many times he told them to contact him, they still reached out to me so it was no longer a surprise. AND THEN I show up for my appointment 15 minutes early like I was told, and the girl that was supposed to do my facial was not there...and apparently was not planning on coming in...it was just very frustrating. Instead of them offering another service / discounted service for the inconvenience they caused me, I had to ask about any other appointments at a different location....overall, I will not be going back to this place.

2022-03-28Do not waste your money here! They will literally take your money and have zero care for their clients. They pressure you into getting a membership and then when you decide to cancel somehow multiple people come out of the office as soon as they hear that and guilt / bully you into putting your account on freeze which they dont tell you also charges your card. Then when you decide you dont want it anymore you have to jump through a bunch of hoops in order to cancel it. And then they still will bill you the last one even if you dont plan to use it. They literally just want your money, I recommend going anywhere else!

2022-07-28Terrible experience! I received a gift card for a Stone Massage and was not given that massage. The woman at the desk had no intention of making it right. Never gave the manager the message to try to fixed what happened ir tried herself to make it right. The gift card was given to me for Mother’s Day. What a sad situation to not make things right when it was supposed to be a special gift.

2022-06-14The Front Desk personnel, as well as, the Licensed Massage Therapists and Estheticians are very professional and accommodating. They make it their mission to ensure your visit is a memorial experience!

2022-01-10Scheduled a 60 minute massage for my husbands birthday. He was scheduled for an 11 Am, and I received a call at 9:45 day of, and was told the therapist for day didn’t show up. I understand these things happen but to only have on therapist for a weekend is bonkers to me. It was also bonkers when I asked what rescheduling looked like to be told that there was nothing “anytime soon” and left at that. Minimal apology, no offer for a discounted service in future, no rescheduling offered. We were first time customers who will not be using their services and I would not recommend them as a gift as you cannot rely it can be used.

2021-12-14Had my 90 minute massage with Cynthia today- she is fantastic! Listens to what areas I would like to be worked and then she tackles them until I let her know things are feeling better- always asks about how much pressure I would like and continually asks if I want more or less throughout the session. I always feel so relaxed and better when leaving than when I arrived!

2021-12-06I had a membership here for about a year at the Dublin location. While I had the membership I received good service and my appointments were good as well. Once I canceled my service I no longer received the same service. Every time I called no one would pick up. I would leave a message and not get a call back. When I finally got a hold of someone to schedule an appt I was advised that my remaining value left from my membership had expired 5 days earlier! 5 days and they were unwilling to work with me even when I canceled I was told they would never expire. Plus I had been trying to get a hold of someone for quite some time to schedule and an appointment. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she/he was not in the office. I was promised a call back and never received one. When I asked who would be calling me back so I know who to expect a call from she REFUSED to give me the name of the manager. Said it was company policy.

2021-07-19I had previously used Hand & Stone in Texas so I initially was happy to use this company again here. However, i initially scheduled my massage in late June for early July. My 1st appointment was canceled several days ahead of time. Okay, disappointed but understood. Reschedule for later this month. Several hours prior to my appointment my massage was canceled again. After calling to express frustration, the manager responded back with a text. They were EXTREMELY unprofessional and snarky. Attempts were made to belittle/ judge my frustration with having my new customer massage canceled yet again. Will never use the company or facility here again.

2021-01-23My wife and I have been to this location ( Dublin ) several times. The owners and staff do a great job overall. These types of businesses are not easy to run due to constant corporate operational changes and turnover in personnel. Fact is, no business is easy to run. However, good businesses want to hear from customers when there are issues so they can be addressed and resolved. Some people will always find fault, no matter what level of service they may get. We continue to do business with Dublin Hand and Stone because they genuinely care about their customers and are receptive to feedback. If you want a massage, Clinton does a great job. He is professional and knowledgeable. Last note, we dont know the owners or staff personally, I wrote this review to help other customers. As we appreciate quality reviews, good or bad on businesses.
