Habitat for Humanity ReStore in other cities:
I love this store. They have so much to offer. If you’re looking to furnish a new home I recommend stopping here once a week. You will surely find some staple pieces here that you can play with and even some decor. I found some Arhaus fabric patterns that I will turn into pillow or curtains. It’s always so exciting to go in here
Went yesterday to browse. As I love this store and have been many times in the past. BUT, the prices have soared in the year that I havent been. It was crazy to see a scratched up and dented dresser for $699.00. My husband about died when we seen all the prices. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
I was disappointed to after not being there since early summer to be treated by a very rude worker standing on the dock who directed us toward the end of new entrance by talking to us like we were retarded not knowing where the entrance was. Prices are very reasonable but staff attitude really ruins the shopping atmosphere.
I was impressed by the friendly greeting from the lady at the counter as we walked in the door. They are really trying to clean and fix this store up nicely and I appreciate it and you can tell others do also by the increased traffic they are getting. Thank you! We were looking for some things that we did not find, but as we know from past experience, we shall try back. We did find a beautiful antique-looking porcelain pedestal sink for our mexican-styled bathroom which we bought at a great price. Thank you to the man and woman who helped us. Some of their prices are great, some fair and some way too high for a thrift store, even though its for a great cause. Thank you to the man who stepped up to help at the register when they got busy and thank you to the courteous and efficient service we received all over and even at the pick-up dock. You made a fun shopping experience even though I forgot the door latch and handles I bought on the checkout counter. Oh well, that was my fault and after all Im only out two bucks. I just consider it my additional donation to the cause! Thanks again for everything youve done and continue to do!
I shop at this location a lot and I love it! Tracy (I believe) who works the floor is always very helpful. The two women that frequently run the registers are great (the one lady is a little “no nonsense” but in a good way) and Dave who works on the dock is always very helpful and makes sure the guys over there are on top of things. The only way to improve my shopping experience was if there was more stuff to buy and longer hours! I’ll definitely be back. 😁👍
The place is supposed to be a thrift store. But they sell top end Arhaus furniture for $1500 and so on. And or course thats a fraction of what it would sell for at Arhaus. But they take this stuff in donation. Arhaus gets a big tax credit Habitat for Humanity makes almost 100% profit on it. So I just wonder why they feel like the people shopping in their store would have $1500 to spend on a sofa. They do have used furnishings priced appropriately. But you have to get lucky and find something that doesnt look like a 1970s nightmare. All in all it is a good thrift store. Area rugs priced nicely as well as some of the mattresses.
Shoutout to ReStore for making used furniture beautiful as well as affordable. I have been searching online for a large dresser for a good price and they are SO expensive! On my first trip to ReStore I found a large Oak dresser for $85. Also, the employees who helped me were very kind. A good place to go for furniture as well as to donate used household items. Thanks ReStore!
Big warehouse full of stuff for the house. Prices are decent, except some of the nicer or antique furniture is priced higher than I would expect. I think they do come down on the prices after so long, though. All the clerks there are friendly, but Shondra (at the register) is the absolute best. She used to work at the old Unique Thrift on Lorain at Fulton, and she really knows how to treat people. We come in just to see her.
Great way to recycle, reuse, and rediscover. They accept lots of different items for donation like unused wood, pipes, tiles, carpet and some items gently used. Please call to see all the items they accept they will even come and pick up items from you. All items that are sold in ReStore goes towards construction of houses for families ♥️
Excellent place to get doors, sinks, furniture, flooring, light fixtures, lawn and garden supplies, tools and much, much more to fix up your home at unbelievably low prices. Also, donate your unwanted items or fixtures you removed from your house to them. Youll be helping people in need by buying and donating. Now thats something to feel good about.
Make sure you have plenty of time to browse! There are all kinds of treasures here, from ( sometimes) vintage pink bathroom fixtures to furniture, cabinets, building supplies, doors, windows... Well, you get the idea. If you need inexpensive home building/furnishing supplies, check here first and have fun!
I bought a 200$ fridge from here about 2 hours ago. Used a man Habitat for humanity recommended. The man charged me $40 to move the fridge to my house. The delivery guy broke the door to the fridge. Left the thing in my living room. He told me I just delivered it, what do you want me to do about it. Habitat for humanity told me theres nothing you can do. The delivery guy told me he isnt doing anything about it. Police say civil matter. Nothing they can do. So Im out of $240, still no fridge and I have my grandson here a lot so what am I supposed to do with his bottles?
You can find some truly amazing things at ReStores, but Ive found that thus location lacks a lot of the really great bargains that Ive found in other locations. I am standing on a rug and illuminated by a light that came from a ReStore, but not this one. Its all cyclical... And the inventory frequently changes, so maybe theres hope yet!!
I went there today its been a while since Ive stopped in. I dont like the renovation, the entrance is nice but I feel like they had a few better items before renovation. The staff sucks. Talked to one of the younger male workers today, he had this look on his face of not wanting to be bothered. The atmosphere is not welcoming at all.
Awesome, attentive, jovial, and plentiful staff here. Some things seem pricey (considering I have seen the same item or better on the treelawn more than once), but deals and markdowns abound, often hiding in plain sight. Got a nice set of two hardcase Samsonite luggage in light blue for $3 total ($1 carry-on size and $2 for a large one)!
Come here almost every other weekend just to see what I can find in the electronics section. Usually prices are close to that of a good garage or yard sale. Sometimes you find new stuff, sometimes you find old stuff, just depends on what people bring in! Will always be back to find more.
Price gouging for extremely over-priced, dirty junk. Many of the ReStores items are filthy, and are so over-priced, that they are close to retail! The items are so marked up, that they are still a rip-off at 75% off!Do not waist your time here, unless you like grossly over-paying for dirty, used yard sale items. Very, very disappointing.
The supplies and wide variety of, especailly, tools is wonderful. while the best items are very reasonable, certain sleepers are always a nice surprise. paints and brushes, power tools, pretty well stocked furniture selection, and garden supplies. when i have that thrifter instinct to satisfy, i have time to search around and grab a deal. with this atmosphere and the easy to find merchandise, its a wonder i dont pull up a chair and do some reading, but, gotta go. thanks for the shopping experience.
Habitat is currently redoing a house next door to mine, the crew is completely rude. They threw cement onto the street creating a giant sink hole over the sewer (said it wasn’t their job to fix and to call the city). They then did not bother to exterminate a house that had been abandoned for YEARS before remodeling it, instead they pushed the rats out of the house into mine and other neighbors. Joke of an establishment. And insanely rude customer service.
We walked into the warehouse and immediately a woman yelled at us and said WERE CLOSED. ITS 4PM! The doors were wide open, we couldnt see the hours. No matter what though, thats just not the way you treat a potential customer. I personally dont want to go back and I was excited about going there since I had never been. How can a place that sells things for such a good cause employ someone so rude and nasty? Im honestly dissapointed with the employee and the company for not addressing her behavior.

PLEASE HELP US WE DO HAVE SOME PEOPLE IN THE FAMILY THAT COULD HELP build or something we need also need beds ,clothing school suppliesps GOD BLESS YOU HOPEFULLY IF YOU CAN HELP OUR FAMILY PLEASE MESSAGE BACK.
Great original and unique cheap finds for my old house, the only negative feedback is the store hours are HORRIBLE, they completely cut out anyone who works 8-5pm with money to spend . ..what I also dont understand is why they close for several days during black Friday weekend, they would ABSOLUTELY make a killing if they opened for a few hours Friday /Saturday /Sunday, 1400%-1600% increase in sales compared to any other weekend ! Staying closed Thanksgiving day and even the day before I get it, but the long weekend where people are specifically looking to buy? ...No brainer...
If you do not want to get banned from this place for doing absolutely nothing I would not recommend going to this store i donate something and is shop there and I get treated nasty by most of the employees there and I spoke with the manager and he got real nasty with me and banned me from ever going to their store ever again so I would not buy their friendly act

2022-04-01This place is AMAZING. Some of the most beautiful dressers, tables, couches, etc. that Ive seen. Prices range but are definitely affordable in most areas. Some of the items that are expensive (outside of my personal budget) seemed appropriately priced still. I went in for a couch and fell in love at first sight. I slept on the thought and immediately went back the next morning as soon as they opened and brought my new (to me) couch home. Terri assisted me and she was such a lovely woman, I enjoyed our talk and all her help. The men that loaded the couch into the truck were careful and they were funny! Help those guys out by renting an appropriate pickup/box truck to move big furniture (not your car that you want to tie a couch to the roof of). I will be going back for sure for other apartment items. They also have a wide selection of glassware that is unique.

2022-04-20This location is large compared to others Ive been to, very organized based on furniture type, and I found an amazing chair for an insane cost! Terri spoke with me on the floor and reassured me they clean the furniture indepth and they have tags on them to verify so. The gentlemen at the loading docks were so kind and helpful, I LOVE this place.

2022-05-29I love this store. Ive been to another location but this one is massive and has a huge selection of items and good sales. Staff are always helpful. Only downside is that some furniture is way overpriced, but they do have different colors that go on sale.

2020-09-10Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit that focuses on building affordable housing for lower income families that may not otherwise be able to own a home of their own. They do this with the help of many volunteers that collect, organize, and sell a wide cross section of household items from furniture, lighting, and paint, to dishware, tools, and soap, plus everything in between, at their retail stores branded ReStore. The proceeds are used to buy the materials to build homes, also heavily reliant upon volunteer work, and eventually provide that home to a family that can afford the nominal zero-interest mortgage. The home recipient is also required to volunteer at least 200 or more hours as well. Its win/win for everyone and by helping out, your not contributing to any political or religious organization. Whats not to like?
