Went in for lunch with my wife and got the Worst food ever got a s chicken salad sandwich that was spoiled that needed not to be served to any one unless they are trying to get your customers sick and side salad that was supposed to not have eggs in it that came out with it tried to send it back and got told no my wife got a over cooked burger waste of money dont waste your money go somewhere else

I always love Grinders so I’m biased. I’ve been going to the chain for 35 years. First time in Minerva though. My thing is the chicken fingers. Love them. My wife thinks they are nothing special. But I’ve been eating them longer than I’ve been married to her!
Me and my wife live in Hinckley Ohio we went there for lunch and let me tell you the Ruben was excellent 👍
Their take out needs help, we ordered Rubens on St Pattys Day they were small and hardly any of the good toppings on them.So its been a few months thought we would give them one last try. Husband ordered a side of fries the bag had enough in it that barely covered the bottom. I wouldnt even call this a child size fry. No rolls for either dinnerYou dont get the same service for pick up as dine in

Very good food and service. My favorite is the chicken tender loving sub. Its chicken strips with bacon,Lettuce and grinders special mayonnaise. I say that cause it always taste better than any mayonnaise I have ever had lol.
3.5 stars. Popular place for meals. Large menu available including many types of large subs which are the grinders. Also appetizers, burgers, salads, entrees available. I got the meatloaf which I liked. Great desserts. Excellent service.

Very good food at reasonable prices! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and quick to serve us everything. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs and boneless chicken wings. Both orders came quite fast and were hot and fresh. It was also very clean and well managed. We loved the large menu that seemed to have all we wanted and more. Next time well enjoy an adult beverage or 2 with our dinner!

Love this location, great food and service. Its always busy, but you are never unattended. As usual, the steak grinder and fries were absolutely perfect. Met several friends there as well. We all try to stop here when we go through town!
Fish tasted old no cocktail sauce. Baked potatoes was rubbery. Had to wait longer than expected. Just didnt taste fresh. My Grinders werent bad not great but not bad.
Stopped by for lunch, of course their pies was right there when you step in. Pretty good place to stop by and grab lunch. Ive never had dinner here yet. Wanting to one day.
Food is always delicious and servers are friendly..kids menu is awesome and my picky toddler actually eats here so we make a trip every few weeks for a girls day..

In light of the current situation, Grinders has done an excellent job adapting and adjusting to the pandemic. Servers were polite and spoke clearly through their masks, food was phenomenal, and staff quickly disinfected surfaces after patrons left.Well done.

First time we have ever stopped at Grinders and any time we are close we will stop again. Service and food were excellent! The homemade chips were great, you must try them. I am a coffee drinker and the coffee is worth the drive. I did not have to ask for a refill, it seemed the waitress was standing behind me waiting for me to empty the cup. Loved it!!

The past two times they have not gave us all we ordered first spud nicks n then a burger some attention to detail is in dire need of this place I do not recommend to call in orders it’s worse than sitting in a drive thru at McDonald’s and plus hours on weekend suck !!!!! Close at 4 on a Sunday that’s sad
Always a great meal here. The southwest steak wrap, BBQ veggie wrap, sweet potato fries, spudnicks, Veggie burger, chicken supreme salad, are a few of dishes on our normal rotation. Have never had a bad meal, on the rare occasion a mistake was made, they have been very courteous and prompt with making it right. The kids love eating here as well, spaghetti and especially the meatballs, smile fries, chicken fingers are a few of their favorites. The deserts are always amazing (when we break down and actually have it). The staff is top notch!! Management always greets us like we are family. The waitstaff is usually spot on, there are occasions when you can tell a server is having a rough/long day (who doesnt sometimes) but they always do their job well.
Their food is outstanding. A bit pricey but worth it! The staff is very friendly here!

The waitress was terrible, didnt keep drinks full. Had an attitude when I asked for a different item bc the first item was wrong. She spent more time walking around with her phone in her hand rather than handle her customers. There was 3 other tables when we were in there. So being busy wasnt an option to get out of this problem. I hope this is handled proper.
First time at Grinders in Minerva. Went in on friends recommendation. Incredibly nice people and the Lasagna was delicious. I am writing to thank everyone we met. Best Wishes and we will see you again soon.
Food looks good. To bad we waited an hour and a half to get our food. Needless to say, we asked for to go boxes so we could just go home to eat it.Wont be back!!!Ticked off.
I used to go here often when I was young. I stopped by the by the other day and had a great experience. The food was excellent just as I remembered. If you are in the area stop by and have a great meal. Get the Original Eastern Grinder!

Always a solid bet. Been pleasantly satisfied for years. When out of town friends and family arrive this is one of our go to places. Seen a bit of dip in quality over the years but still a great place.

We got in there and it wasnt very busy our waitress was attentive at first. We got our food which was luke warm like it had been sitting there for awhile. She gave us our checks as we had 2 seperate orders. My bill was 12.50 and I was charged 15. But it got rejected but i knew i had 14 on my card. i asked her if she tried to ring it up with a tip instead of the actual price. waitress quickly said no and looked nervous. (I had her tip already in cash) We paid in cash and she avoided our table even after asking for a to go box. We waited 15mins for a the stupid box which another waitress gave it to us. When we went to leave we got ignored. Point of the story make sure if you pay with card make sure they are charging the correct price and not adding their own tip as you may double tip if you had planned to do so already in cash. We did the math and she tried to take the biggest tip percentage at the bottom of my receit. 😒

We eat here or order out pretty regularly. The food is good most the time but every time we call it seems like the person answering the phones has no idea whats even on the menu. Which makes ordering pretty confusing and frustrating. If you want to enjoy it more just eat in.

Was excited to see the original Hawaiian on the menu again. What a disappointment!! All, bun, lettuce, and onion. Maybe an ounce and a half of deli ham, and a half ring of pineapple. I thought there used to be cheese on it, there sure wasnt any on this one. As corporate takes over more and more, Grinders slides further and further down my list of favorites 😞😞

Its ok. Open face roast beef hoagie bread that is a sub bun thats hard to cut and def not same as a Texas toast slice of bread but was delicious I have to say. Spinach dip too salty. Waitress made us feel very rushed when it was 9:00pm and didnt close until 10 I think, I could be wrong bc I asked but dont remember by now. But felt really rushed. Even my 13 yr old daughter asked me why she was being so fast with us.
Todays experience was not the greatest..was wondering if it is under new management?? Our waitress was so slow..did not give my daughter green beans she ordered..people that sat down and ordered after us got their food b4 we got our 4 lil spudniks..never came back to refill.my water ..just was not what typically expected..seen hiring on the door also..with that being said..yes i still tipped my waitress 20%..js
They did not have many options for gluten free and the staff was not helpful in helping me make a safe choice.

I absolutely love grinders! Ive been going here for years and used to love this place as a little kid. My favorite sandwich is The Aviator and I definitely recommend the French onion soup.

Ive been going to this Grinders & Such (above and beyond, whatever) since I was a kid. Total comfort food, & my fav place to eat in the whole world. Always friendly. Eat in... the sandwiches are tastiest when fresh!

Noodles from spaghetti was over cooked and undercooked waitress was very rude and hardly checked on us they wasnt busy at all but was really slow.

Been going to Grinders for years and love the Eastern Original. Brings back memories of when it started at a house and having high school friends meet there. Anytime I am in town for a visit, I have to stop and get a grinder..

2022-04-30Havent been here for many years ,long enough my 20 year old said she hasnt been there,🤷, anyways we had two appatizers,spinach artichoke dip and potato skins both were excellent,our meals were good,I feel the portions of the BBQ chicken in that dinner were quite small,but delicious,also didnt realize that they now have adult beverages,go and check them out if you havent been there for a while,the wait staff was very friendly and attentive,we will be back again

2020-08-08I wish I could give them 0 stars. We were there for an hour and a half. Our server never made eye contact with us. It took 45 minutes to get our steak; and even though my fiance and I ordered our steaks the same way (medium rare) (his on top, mine on the bottom) at the same time, his was was well done and mine was rare. The salad is basically a mix of bagged coleslaw shred and bagged salad mix. I was so excited for pie when we walked in,but was too nervous to order it after such a disappointing experience.
