My whole family loves the dentist and hygienist! Best we have ever had! However, today’s experience left me so shaken I am leaving my first ever negative review. The woman at the front desk has to be the rudest and most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. Full disclosure this was my third and final strike. My First was arriving at an 8 AM appointment that was canceled. Confused, I politely rescheduled understanding these things happen. Second strike, The day of my sons appointment which we waited months for, I received an impatient phone call explaining my sons insurance info was wrong, and I needed to immediately call his insurance company , or he would be rescheduled first available 2 months later. At work and with no notice ,I asked if I could please handle this in a hour or with his insurance card 15 minutes proir to his appointment? Insinuating that this this was my problem I was told NO , she wanted it done right then before her lunch. Left with no good option, I left work and after a 45 minute phone call trying to figure out the issue with the insurance company, it ended up being a typo on great expressions end. After which the rude tone turned apologetic, and although we still had to reschedule his appointment I reacted kindly and politely. Today I came to 9 a.m appt, to an immediate and rude greeting stating my appointment had been canceled and they tried calling me. not only that but the doctor would be gone all week. Confused , knowing I had received no such phone call, and shocked at the abrupt rudeness upon walking in the door, I immediately showed my three text messages confirming today’s appointment .Instead of apologizing and understanding the confusion, I was lectured it was my irresponsibility for not returning phone calls or answering voicemails. . Again believing I had no missed phone calls or recent voicemails, I did check and was surprised to find one single attempt to reach me by call, an entire month earlier, with a 15 second unopened voicemail from an identified phone number. Even more frustrating, I had spoken with the office several times after this voicemail with no mention of the cancellation, and received three separate text messages, including one from 6 PM just the night before CONFIRMING The appt . Suggesting that there could be a better way to communicate, like a second call to spare someone of the inconvenience of taking time off work to drive across town for a canceled appointment, I was responded to with even greater hostility. Although I was given an explanation that hands were tied by a bad corporate policy that doesn’t allow them to cancel confirming text messages for canceled appointments, and that it is the patients responsibility to call the office and cancel them, it was the outrageous and rude way in which it was handled . The manager did come to mediate after things escalated. Unfortunately she also blamed everything on a corporate policy , refusing to address the disrespectful way was I was being treated, even with the fact that the employee was still making rude comments and shaking her head the entire time we were speaking. The employee even snapped at her threatening to clock out immediately when she said some thing she did not like. Sadly I realized there was going to be no professional resolution, so I left knowing I still desperately need my appointment with the doctor , really shaken up from the whole experience , and a corporate phone number to report the incident. I am a patient person and just a small bit of kindness or professionalism would’ve resolved this issue an entirely. I hate leaving this review but hopefully someone might be spared what I was. And moving past the front desk I trust the dentist 100%. Completely sad and unnecessary.
Awful customer service. I have been fight them to bill my 2nd insurance for 2 years. When calling office Kristie advised they do billing in central office and the do not take call and no one returns my call. I never receive any answers. Service was good but not worth the money when you have insurance that would have paid. I work in the medical field and this is not a company I would ever return to again. They are about money.
I am so impressed with Dr. Sabreen Owais and her entire staff on Airport Hwy, I recently had to find a new dentist now that COVID conditions are improving and am so happy I tried them. Ive been there a couple times now, they are very welcoming and professional, but most of all they hustle. If dental x-rays were an Olympic sport I sure the technician that did my full mouth set would have a gold medal on her wall. Congrats to Dr. Owais for motivating her staff to work at the same high level that she does.(I would like to know her secret)
Ive been going to Great Expressions for about 3 years now, and have had nothing but amazing experiences. I just got 3 of my wisdom teeth removed by them, and it was a breeze! No pain, and was in and out within an hr. Everyone has always been very professional and friendly with me, I would reccomend this company to anybody.
My children and I have been going here for 2 years and when I went for my most recent appointment I was told to sit down they would be with me. I went to ask after being there 15 minutes and they said it would be at least another 40 minutes for them to be with me. When I told them that ndidnt have the time to wait the lady said well its not our fault we lost our hygienist... actually it is though...this is the third time I get this reason from them but never get told until I show up. In 30 years of going to the dentist never have I seen a business have this much trouble keeping employees. They are never on time and get an attitude when the customers are unhappy. Im switching dentists and I suggest no one ever chose this company but at the very least not the airport hwy location.
It has been far too long since Ive seen the dentist. My moms cousin recommended this office and I set up my appointment and loved it!! Riann, the hygienist, is AWESOME. She is so knowledgeable, gave me a great description of what was going on behind my teeth in a way I could understand, didnt force me to get any procedure, she said she would give time to think about it, but I proceeded. She was so gentle, kept asking if I was okay, and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Owais was so friendly, made me feel so relaxed and calmed my nerves when talking about removing my wisdom teeth. The receptionist Lesley is even awesome! She was so sweet and so helpful, both on the phone and in person. I live in Texas but was visiting my home town and wanted to get my teeth cleaned here and she squeezed me in for a few appointments in their busy schedule. All around, great experience!
I called to see if i could get my appointment sooner (it was 2.5 weeks away at the time) since i was in pain and could not chew on my one side. I didn’t want to spend Christmas not enjoying family meals. My apt was 9:30 for my cavity. Day prior i was told they could do 10:30 and also get me in for cleaning. I agreed but stated as long as i can get my cavity fixed.Arrived this morning. Staff was friendly. Got X rays and i asked if it was cavity and if dentist was coming in to fix it (bout 20 min into my apt) was told she would check.Hygentist came in and did exam. Informed me i needed “deep cleaning” which consists of two different sessions (that would need booked for future dates). I said ok but can i get my cavity filled please it’s hurting. Said she would check (bout 35 min into apt). Dentist who is very sweet came (bout 45 min) in n said i needed 3 fillings in one area n that is what was giving me trouble n also pointed out all the other work i needed for my “treatment plan” and left. Once again i asked yet a 3rd person who came back to show me how much everything would cost (bout 55 min) when i was getting filling because i was in pain. Said she would check...They were booked. I could not get my painful cavity filled WHICH IS WHAT I MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. Booked till after holidays. I fought back tears as i had to have a baby sitter watch my 2 small children so i could get this taken care of.COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.I cried the whole way home out of frustration and pain.So if you are in pain and need dental work done that day go somewhere else.I called my father’s dentist who felt terrible this happened to me today and is getting me in tomorrow to FIX the issue.
I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone. Every visit I came home with sores in my mouth and fat lips. On one occasion IMY lips were even bruised. Before you get any treatment done they go over a plan of procedures and amount of the service. I was charged more than they quoted me. Very disappointed with this dentist.

2022-03-16I have Dr. Sabreen Owais and I am SO happy with how I am treated. I am terrified of dentists and she is so gentle, explains EVERYTHING she is going to do before she does it. The Assistants are so kind, understanding, and funny. I have been to so many dentists and have been actually physically hurt, scammed, traumatized, but never here. This place is awesome.

2021-05-19Great service, very kind & helpful staff. The dental hygienist was very kind. The Dentist was very kind & good at what she does too. It is always clean & they follow covid precautions well. Its not a very warm & welcoming waiting room, but Ive never had to wait before going back, so it hasnt mattered much. I havent had to do any big procedures, but Im sure they do a good job. They are good at explaining what they have to do before they do it. And they are one of the few dentists in town that takes Medicaid, which Im so grateful for!
