Great units, great space. (the pics are of a 2 bed 1 bath deluxe) The only drawbacks are that the staff (like everywhere rn are a bit overworked and may take a bit to get to work orders, they take them as they come in unless they are urgent. If they are urgent they are quick to fix.) And the flat roofs are known for leaking. But they repair as they can and overall it isnt an issue. But the pricepoint, location and grounds? Phenomenal. Wont find better for the area. The sliding doors make moving so easy and the terrace is an awesome bonus. *washing machine and dryer not included, but hookups are available*

This was my first apartment with my daughter. I rented a 1 bed , 1 bath deluxe. I loved the bigger space with a fireplace, dishwasher, and my ultimate favorite: washer and dryer hookups. I even had my own personal patio that was fenced in. The sliding glass doors in the bedroom and living room made it easier to move furniture in. It also had big closet space and with only 1 room , my daughter and I were able to have our own separate closets. The flat roof was awesome for rain lovers but are known to leak. The pool was an added touch , especially for my daughter. The rent was a little to high for my liking but knowing I had a few days at the beginning of the month to pay rent was awesome. I would definitely rent here again.

The apt are a lil outdated matinence is pretty fast for theyre work the staff are fantastic you are allowed pets but dogs have to be under 40ibs. theyres a pool ive had a few small problems as to the apts being outdated but on the other hand i love it here cozy place big on the inside get your own patio comes with a garage all and all id rate it 8 out of 10 for a good pieceful neighborhood the reason i rated it so low is because of the work need done as far as lil updating on a few things but no complaints so far as of living here i greatly appreciate living here thanks grandwoodlands without you my life would be a mess tryin to find a new home to live in i love it here

I really loved living at Grand Woodland Apartments. The apartment is a lot larger then a typical apartment out there especially for the amount of rent I paid. The staff in the office are great. They are very friendly and were extremely helpful with meeting my medical needs. The maintenance staff worked very hard to get things done quickly and did a great job! I highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a place to call home. Thanks Grand Woodland Staff and maintenance for everything!!!

My fiancé and I have lived here for a whole year now, so I can give my honest review of what it has been like. The staff of Grand Woodlands are the sweetest.Yes, the apartments are pretty old/outdated, but if something does go wrong, maintenance gets right on it.You get your own little patio area, some have doors & some do not. But either way, it makes the area very quiet and peaceful. Except for when the raccoons get in the trash, but I think as residents it’s our responsibility to close the bin after putting our trash in to prevent that.Everyone with pets seems to clean up after themselves, which is great! There’s even little stands with doggie-poop bags to pick up after the dogs.Every month we get a newsletter in our mailbox with information about the complex, as well as other miscellaneous information. Usually once a month they do a potluck/get together. I’ve never been to one of those personally, but I think it’s a nice thing that management does for/with us tenants. Last year they even had a contest for who had the best garden! Which is another thing I love about this place, you’re allowed to plant your own garden/personify your space.A few months after I first moved in, some kids came around and put nails in everyone’s tire which sucked, but i’ve noticed since then there’s been cameras up and I haven’t heard of any issues since. There are lots of stray cats here, there’s a black cat that has kittens all the time. But that’s not a complaint on my end, i love seeing the little kitties!! There’s also deer that I see when I leave for work early in the mornings too.Overall, living here has been pleasant! I’m glad I moved here, and will be living here a second year. Thanks so much Grand Woodlands!!!

Very greedy ownership. I moved to Florida after residing here and they sued me for $3,500 of damages that I was not liable for. Since I wasnt even in the state anymore, I was never properly served. The court ordered a wage garnishment which resulted in my army reinlistment bonus being taken from my bank account 4 days after I got it.

Its nice and quiet compared to where I used to live. Were mostly surrounded by older folks, which is ok. Some of the apartments are a little out-dated, but you are allowed to paint and bring your own appliances(just have to give management the heads-up). I absolutely love how spacious the 2 bedroom is. The living room alone can fit a large sectional, recliner chair, and entertainment stand. The larger bedroom can even fit a king size bedroom set. Would definitely reccomend

I am going to give this apartment complex a fair review with both pros and cons.1.These apartments are OUTDATED. This is the only way to accurately describe them. If you are looking for décor and construction that appears to be from the 1960-1970’s then this is the place for you. The bathrooms have PINK tubs, toilets and sinks. And my bathroom sink so old, it has rust stains everywhere, this was like this when we moved in. The kitchens are just as outdated and it’s frustrating. They are galley shaped kitchens and unless you are 6 feet in height or taller, then you will struggle with the kitchen cabinet layout. There also aren’t enough cabinets or enough room. The washer and dryer hook ups are directly in the opposition of the fridge which makes it for a very tight area to wash and dry clothing. Our refrigerator, which came with our unit, is from what appears to be the 90’s. Instead of replacing the fridge or properly fixing it, they left the arm that holds in condiments in the door bent, and the bottom drawer that pulls out is adhesive with some gray goo that doesn’t hold the drawer in place whatsoever. The countertops are old and in the majority of the units, so in the linoleum. The living area is plenty spacious, and there is a fireplace that we do not use because it falls on the tenants responsibility to pay for a chimney sweep, an additional cost we do not care to accumulate.2.The garden terrace on the units is nice. It is convenient for planting flowers, having a grill and there is even room for us to have a small fire pit. The cons: You may or may not have a door to your garden terrace. If your unit comes with a door, congratulations, you are one of the more fortunate people. However, if this door becomes broken or non-functioning, they do not replace it. It is at your cost, time and labor to put any new doors on the garden terrace. If you are one of the unfortunate souls who don’t have a door, good luck, people have had things stolen off their terrace.3.The grounds for the most part, are well kept. However, as of lately the grass isn’t being mowed consistently. This is frustrating because we have a dog that at times the grass has been a good 6-8 inches which is almost as tall as her body. There is a pool, which appears to be well kept, but we do not use it. They charge extra for any additional pool passes for guests to swim. There is always a life guard on duty at the pool.4.For the most part, it is safe. When we first moved here, there were a slew of thefts from cars. This eventually stopped; however, we ended up having a car charger stolen from a car, so make sure your vehicles are ALWAYS locked. Not long after that, I awoke to a note in our mail box stating the police were chasing an apprehended man earlier that morning and that they think said suspect has discarded a weapon somewhere on the premises. To this day, I have no clue if the weapon was ever found. This place is located in an area of convenience, there is a grocery store right around the corner, but travel too far south or west and things can begin to get sketchy.5.It’s usually quiet, it’s usually safe and it’s usually clean. However there are times when it is loud, the 4th of July being one of them. Apparently tenants at this place believe its ok to shoot huge fireworks off their small garden terrace. As for cleanliness, sometimes the dumpsters get too full. We also have a very BAD raccoon problem right now; I have spotted a total of 6 raccoons that live in the storm drains. They dig through the dumpsters and are out at night when I come home from work!Overall this is an ok place to live, the price is good compared to other places, but you do get what you pay for. We are staying for 1 more year because we our having our wedding and then we will be gone.
