We placed a small soil order to be delivered on Thursday. Then the stay at home order was issued and our scheduled delivery was no longer possible. Grafs moved up our delivery & couldnt have been better to deal with. These guys are a fantastic local business & well be back as soon as possible
I purchased a plant from this vendor, Graf Growers, at their mobile flower truck while it was at the Van Aken District Cleveland Flea. I purchased a string of beads and brought it home. An hour later, I decided to plant it in my succulent plant, and saw that it was covered in mealybugs. These werent hitchhikers either, they had nymphs in their nests on the bottom of the pot too. Mealybugs can wreck plants and are very hard to control once there is an outbreak. They can spread very quickly to other plants. and they have to be thrown away if you cant delicate a lot of time to eradicating an infestation. I was so fortunate to have spotted them right before I planted them with my other plants.I would expect for a company who over prices their plants at the very minimum to inspect their plants before they set them out for purchase. I had to run all the way back to the event to return the plant. I was also very concerned that the other string of beads werent immediately removed for further inspection. Instead one of employees said she felt fortunate that other plants werent stored near my infected one. There is no way the outbreak was that advanced on only my small pot crammed next to other plants. I will not make the mistake again of purchasing from Grafs Garden, at their mobile truck or storefront.
I have always liked going to Graf Growers to purchase plants for my flower pots and landscaping, mostly for their quality and guarantee for one year....until this season when I actually had to return a spirea plant. We had spoke to Scott Graf the weekend before by chance and didnt know who he was at the time but said we were concerned about one of the two we bought that it was dying in the center and we were just going to wait to see if it came back. He told us he would rather us wait a week and if it wasnt getting better to just bring it back. We did wait and it started looking really bad when the neighbor plant was flowering pretty purple this one wasnt and was getting worse. So took it in Sunday and some guy came to look at it and started giving me hard time about how I either let it die or watered it too much, tried to tell him the neighbor plant wasnt even 3 ft away and was doing great...then proceeded to tell me I shouldnt water them at the same time and how hes just telling me this because its no fun for them to have plants returned. I was so frustrated by the time I left that store I may never return and start going to the growers. The owner and other ladies at Graf have always been helpful in answering questions and giving guidance on what to plant where, but this one encounter has ruined that for us.

2022-06-01My new favorite place! Wonderful and helpful staff and selection. I will come here from now on for my garden/houseplant needs, and I only wish I’d discovered this place sooner. I really loved how they even had a labeled section of pet-friendly plants. This place also has cats - an amazing bonus!

2021-09-23LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Terrific selection of houseplants and garden novelties, PLUS small farm market at the front with beautiful, ripe fruits and veggies. I spent too much $$ here (no surprise to anyone who knows me), but the plants I bought were absolutely healthy and cared for by obviously knowledgeable people. One of the best greenhouses Ive ever been to for houseplants, both rare and common. Lots of variety, lots of specimens to choose from. The plums I bought were also delicious and a good price.I would consider driving 1.5 hours from Columbus just to visit this place again - thats the sign of a great shop to me!

2022-05-14The plant quality and selection is very extensive and great. The sales staff are very helpful and kind. But I’ve had 2 disappointments with the management. Last fall I picked out a Christmas wreath priced at $29.95. There were others like it priced similarly. There were no signs.on the wall. I was having a nice conversation with the checkout gals when I realized they were charging me individually for each decoration on the wreath so the total price was over $100.00! I asked to speak with the manager but that person just sent a message back that the larger price was final. I didn’t purchase it. I called when I got home and asked to speak with a manager. I never received a callback.Today we went to the green house without our coupon. The only recourse offered us was to come home, get the coupon and go back. There’s something missing in a relationship when you don’t flex to help the customer have a good experience. I feel very unwilling to shop here which is disappointing. I’ve shopped here for years , even when we lived out of town.

2021-08-17My wife and I would like to thank all of you at Grafs for the wonderful job you did at our home. From Toms great design plans to Dave and his crew that did our walkway last year, and the landscaping this year. Everyone was so professional and hard working. When I say hard working, I mean those guys were non-stop. The temps were upper 80s and low 90s and they just kept at it. Sometimes we felt like we were living the movie The Money Pit with two trucks of plants, two more trucks of mulch/soil, a couple personal vehicles, and 6-8 guys all busting a hump. But instead of 2 weeks, they finished in 2 days. Unbelievable! This was a large project that was done in two phases: 1) A hardscape front walk done last fall 2019, 2) the entire front and back yards of a 1/2 acre property. Grafs has a very professional team that I will always highly recommend. It was a pleasure having everyone here.Update: One year later photo
