Usually, I dont waste my time writing reviews but I felt that this review is necessary. Ive been in this place for a while. The management of this place is getting worse and worse. Call forever no one responds to your calls. Place a maintenance request and it will not be done until you walk into the office and show your upset face. Laundry rooms are the worse: very dirty and stink. Nonfunctioning cars are everywhere as if I am in a ghost city. If you have kids be prepared to check them for lead level in their blood since paint chips fall every minute. Not happy with you Governors Square and I know you will respond to this review trying to justify your laziness.
Governours Square is a beautiful apartment complex with beautiful landscapes of trees, bushes, and flowers. The units are wonderful with nice rooms, hot water, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and etc. They also come with a handy storage for extra storage. The internet in that area has been great without any issues. They also have a nice exercise room, basketball court, and swimming pools. I highly recommend this apartment complex. It has been a positive experience living here!
Awesome community! Ive lived here for about 3 years now and have had nothing but positive things to say. The office staff is so pleasant and the maintenance staff does a great job any time that I need something fixed/addressed!I will definitely continue to renew my lease and recommend this community to friends and family that are in the market for a new apartment! Keep up the great work!
I moved in just over a month ago and have been overall pleased with my experience here. The leasing agent, Paul, was very friendly. I appreciated that he didnt do a hard pressure sales pitch on me. I had looked at another similar complex previously who wanted me to sign a lease immediately after the first look at the apartment. Paul was understanding that I needed time to think about this decision. The grounds in this complex are beautiful and they do a great job with the upkeep. The community is fairly quiet and its a nice area to take the dog on a walk in the evenings. The only con is that the apartments themselves are a bit older, which means that when you are on the first floor you can hear a lot of creaks in the floor when someone is walking around on the 2nd floor. This is to be expected. The carpets and finishes are a bit dated, but everything is clean which is all that really matters. Ive had to call maintenance a couple times and theyve responded within 24 hours each time, once they even responded with 20 minutes.I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a reasonably priced apartment in a great location. The price Im paying for a 2 bedroom with laundry is less than I would pay for a 1 bedroom in one of the newer complexes in the immediate area. This area is conveniently located to most everything in the Columbus area.
Have lived here for 2 years and have had an average to below-average experience.- Overall, the complex is clean and seems relatively safe. Have not had any security issues personally, although a handful of cars in my parking lot have had shattered windows and slashed tires.- Laundry facilities can be rated as a D- at best. Costs nearly $4 to do one load of laundry and half of the machines do not work properly. Washers dont spin, leaving clothes soaked. Dryers dont heat up, leaving the same problem, making you spend more money.- Staff is solid overall. Maintenance crew is also very kind and responsive to emergency issues like AC/Heat.- My biggest issue with this place is the way they bill gas and water. At least for the apartments, they bill by your building unit and not individual residence. I barely turned my heat on last winter and still had a high bill because other units in my building blasted their heat or left water running.- The new management group was kind enough not to raise rent due to COVID, which led me to sign on for one more year but likely wont renew after that.Overall, its a D+ complex on an A+ to F scale.
Apartment walls are paper thin. Buildings are super old. Noise complaints do not work because the management won’t do anything about them.Laundry rooms here are disgusting. Be prepared to try a handful of washing machines and dryers that do not work before finding a good one.
I absolutely love living at Governours Square. The leasing center staff are always super welcoming and helpful, the maintenance staff are prompt and knowledgeable, and the neighbors are friendly. All of the amenities (workout room, pools, laundry facilities) are spotless and are kept up very well. Also, the apartments themselves are in great condition. My partner and I have lived in two different units and both were incredible. Ive recommended these apartments to several people already and hope they end up here. We are certainly here to stay for a while!
Gotta say this community is a little bit of a hidden gem. The units are very nice and most are updated plus lots of variety of floor plans. I will say the units are older so come with realistic expectations, nothing is perfect but everything works and looks very nice. Prices are fair, cheaper in the winter and they will tell you that too. Not all have washers and dryers but there are laundry facilities all over the community. They have three pools, really nice basketball court, & tennis courts. I will say probably my favorite thing about living here is the grounds - huge trees, flowers blooming in every season, and well maintained. Whoever did the grounds did an AMAZING job. The community is nice just to walk around and see people walking their dogs. Super pet friendly!!
Wow! I just moved in yesterday and I can’t say enough good things. Taylor Miller handled my move-in and she is fabulous! I had something come up and I needed to move 2 weeks early and she not only found me a unit available, but an upgraded unit with a move-in special !! The entire staff is so pleasant and helpful and always available. The apartment itself is stunning! Very spacious with lots of storage everywhere! You can tell they upkeep the grounds which are gorgeous! I look forward to living here for awhile and experiencing going to the pool and gym (if they are able to be opened up with CoVid-19). I highly highly recommend !! And thanks again Taylor- you are amazing!!
Wow, I have never had to rate an apartment complex Ive lived at as a one before. But this place has worked hard to deserve it. Hope you enjoy the story as to why:My wife and I were moving across the country from Utah so I could start optometry school at Ohio State. I had secured an apartment at Governors Square 2 months in advance so there would be no problems.I paid the security deposit, application fee, bought renters insurance per their request, and spent over a thousand dollars for a moving truck to get across the country for our set move in date.Less than 2 weeks before our cross country trip they call and tell us they messed up and the person living in the apartment we are set to move into is actually staying there for another month! The only option they had prepared is that they could have us live in an apartment that was way out of our price range as grad students.So...after their mistake, I had to be the one trying to work a deal out with them, rather then them coming up with a workable plan to help me. After we have spent hundreds of dollars trying to move into this place. They refused my suggestion that the more expensive apartment be lowered to the agreed upon price. They refused my other suggestion to give us 2 months free rent to offset the expenses. The only thing they finally offered is that we could move across the country and live in the more expensive apartment for a month (and pay rent while living out of our suitcases.) And then, when our apartment finally opens up, we could move there. While potentially acceptable in their eyes, that means we would have to move not once, but 2x in a month. All while starting grad school and my wife starting her new career. So we had to get our money back for our security deposit and application fee and find a new apartment with less than 2 weeks due to their mistake. Feel free to message me about my experiences with them. Finally, Im sure Governours Square will probably comment on this with their standard reply on all the negative reviews: sorry about your experience...please call out management team to try and resolve...etc. However, they had their chance to make it better with me on the phone. They chose to give me back my deposit and make me find a new apartment with less than 2 weeks before moving across the country.
I have lived in this complex almost 7 years, and moved within to 5 different units - that’s how much I love it! Every home has been wonderful. Great location, grounds are kept beautiful, pet friendly, and very fast maintenance. Also, the gym, pool, tennis courts and laundry houses are great. They’re very accommodating (especially with my relocations). The resident events are always fun, and the resident care team and management are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend - won’t be leaving anytime soon.
Beztak is an awful company that doesn’t know how to manage an apartment complex properly while keeping their tenants happy. On top of the fact that they are impossible to get ahold of, they changed things that I have agreed to in my lease prior to them purchasing the company, expecting me to spend more of my money and energy on things that should have carried over. Also there has been a bottle of human urine in the bush in front of my apartment for over a month, which I have made them aware of (by physically walking into the office since nobody answers phones or emails)
I moved here in September 2017, and I love it. A big reason I originally chose Governours Square was the fitness center, and it has been everything I hoped it would be--I work out there regularly. But more than just that, its a great community. Ive made many friends among the residents here. The leasing office staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff is very responsive and effective. And the location is also great, especially for OSU students or staff--its just about 15 minutes from campus.Governours Square is an excellent community and I highly recommend it.
Ive lived here for about two months. Good amenities and very clean. Picturesque neighborhood with good landscaping and mature shade trees. Our area is pretty quiet, we occasionally hear neighbors outside and upstairs neighbors walking but cant hear TVs, conversations, etc. through walls. Apartment itself is pretty basic with cream paint, beige carpet, and very cheap cabinets on the inside but the newer vinyl floors, bathroom lights and countertops are nice. Maintenance is very responsive, the best my wife and I have ever had living in an apartment.
If you want to get a hold of ANYONE that works here (maintenance, leasing office, etc.) you better start a year in advance-and even then they probably won’t return your call. “New management” =no management. I’m actually convinced no one even works here anymore. They love to give week long windows for work that will be in your house. So if you have a pet or work from home that whooooooole week you need to figure out an alternative plan. And what’s even better is when they don’t show up that whole week and then no work actually gets done. Then you get a new week window (when it probably won’t get done anyways- scheduled work has been pushed back about a month now) If you want things done you may need to do it yourself at GS…also if ANYONE from management at govs square is reading this PLEASE CONTACT ME!!!! I legit do not know another way to try at this point. Pigeon carrier?????
Decent apartments. I rented a studio apartment here and it has been pretty good overall. The quality isnt superb but the prices are fair. Its fairly safe although there has been some car break ins. The office is quick to report and advise the community. Repairs are quick. Multiple on site laundromats for the communitys use with passcode access, tennis courts, basketball courts, and multiple pools.grear location with a 10 minute or less drive to Walmart, kroger and a walgreens on the corner.
I am a resident of Governors square for around three years now and am very much happy about my stay here. The maintenance service is very good. And we have bus transportation which is very helpful. The rent is quite nominal. But not all units have washer dryer facilities. You need to use the common machines. Still it is a good place to reside.
I lived at Governours Square for over a year, only moved to be closer to work. However, the location is great, so much food, shopping, and things to do around the area. Quality apartments that are affordable. My unit was updated and very charming. The maintenance and office staff are very efficient and timely. Taylor in the office is AMAZING and always willing to help.
The application process was so easy through the online website. I chose this community because of the spacious 2 bedroom town home, many on-site amenities and abundance of parking (as this was a constant issue at my last apt). I loved the contact less move in option Governours Square has right now to make their new residents more comfortable.
My husband and I moved into Governours Square last summer and we absolutely love it. We both had really bad experiences in past places with poor management staff who dont care, but the staff at Governours Square are so friendly, very professional, and quick to respond and address any concerns. They care about YOU and want you to have a great experience here (which is SO rare to find!!). Great community feel, well cared for grounds and amenities, and the best value for the best price in this area. We couldnt find a better place and we are so happy here!
The apartments are a great choice for new comers who move to Columbus. Supermarkets are nearby on Bethel road and theres a Pharmacy right opposite to the community. For people working in downtown, bus service is available as well. I have enjoyed living here for more than four years. Theres a large amount of space for walking in the community and there are walkways around the community as well for people who run. The community also has a small Gymnasium and houses three tennis courts. The location is extremely convenient and the staff here are very friendly. Apartment services are done on time.
I lived at Governour’s Square for almost 3 years and absolutely loved it! I lived in a one bedroom one bathroom then moved into a two bedroom townhouse with 1 bathroom and no laundry. Maintanence requests were always taken care of quickly and they were always communicating things with enough notice. I never had issues with neighbors being too loud or ever feeling unsafe. There were a lot of different situations in the community and most people just did their own thing. The courts and pools were always clean and fun- I always took advantage! I moved to Cleveland and was very sad to leave!Pro tips:The laundry rooms are not always the most reliable- dryers took forever sometimes! They have switched to an app instead of card which I wasn’t a huge fan of before moving out.Stacy is the best in the leasing office! She always has a great attitude and is super knowledgeable!
My boyfriend and I have lived here for a few months now and are continuously impressed with the staff, maintenance and amenities. Taylor did such an amazing job making us feel important and comfortable when helping us find our new place! She took her time with us and helped us pick out the best space specific to our wants/needs. Check out Governours Square if you’re looking for affordable living in a great location, inclusiveness and lots of green space for your pets!
I moved to Governours Square about a month ago, and I have had a phenomenal experience! From the start, I was very specific about what I was looking for, and Jacqi was extremely patient and easy to work with in finding the home that was best for me. My move-in went smoothly, and that has not changed since Ive been here. Everyone in the office is friendly and quick to offer help or just an ear to listen to. My service requests are always completed within 48 hours, which I couldnt believe when they told me that that was their standard, considering the size of the property. The apartments are older, but theyve done a good job keeping up with updates, and it really feels like home. The bonuses are also the pool and 24 hour work out center, they are fantastic! Id recommend living here to anyone!
Updating my review: Things are still solid here 2 1/2 years into my time here. Complex changed owners but things are still solid. Maintenance is still excellent, they come same or next day for anything I put in and are always super friendly. Front office is friendly. Landscaping is still amazing and I love how they decorate the landscaping around the complex and leasing office depending on the season/holiday.Place is still pretty quiet overall. Walls are good for sound proofing and all I have ever really heard is bass from my neighbors sound system.... But there isnt much that can be done for that as it will travel through any shared wall pretty easily in anything built in the past 40 years.Original review:I really dig this place to be honest. Maintenance doesnt fight back when I try to get stuff fixed, and comes quick, which is refreshing from a renting standpoint. Landscaping is great here, and the grounds as a whole look nicer than anywhere Ive lived before. I really appreciate the flowers and seasonal decorations they do by the leasing office. The only thing I wish they could change is to bring in some sort of enforcement on residents only being able to use the basketball courts and pools. During the summer, random groups of people show up and swarm the basketball courts and pools. Theres no key needed to get into any of them, so you just get random groups of people coming here to use those facilities that you never see any time else. The people that live here are mostly college students and young professionals, and its pretty quiet after dark. You just get that riff raff coming in for the basketball courts and pools occasionally and there doesnt seem to be any enforcement on that. The leasing office is responsive, and is open 7 days a week so you can stop by or call when ever you have an issue.
It hasnt been the worst place I lived. I like the location. My apartment size is nice. The rent itself isnt astronomical, but add 40 a month more for water ( which is about what I paid at my house for a family of four previously! , 15 for trash, admin. fee, etc.) and you are paying quite a bit each month. Initially, I thought maintenance was really exceptional. It depends on who responds. It can take 2-3 responses at times to get things right. Laundry rooms are a bit of a mess. The community has a contract with a company for used washers and dryers and they are quite often out of service. The most recent situation has many of the Laundry rooms credit card systems not working any longer. We had 5-7 machines completely broken for a period of close to six months. Personally, I have a infestation of flying ants in my apartment every spring. Management has been attentive to this every year, sending out pest control and having to rip back my carpet and fill in the crack in the foundation with silicone filler, etc. This year though, much to my surprise, they sent out the pest control company, and filled in a hole with some caulk. When that didnt do the trick, and I was still vacuuming up flying ants daily, the Manager wouldnt return my calls. I started filling up a jar with the ants and brought them to the office, thinking that would get his attention. I left the jar full of flying ants with his assistant as proof they were still a problem, and a message to please have him call me back to schedule an appointment to take care of the situation. Still, no call. That told me all I needed to know. They werent interested in taking care of the problem. They were hoping that the swarming season would end and my calls would subside. Thats why they know have a Reputation Director. Companys that take care of their tenants dont need a reputation director.
The moment my Girlfriend and I arrived on site, and met Taylor, we knew right away we would become residents. Taylor made us feel immediately comfortable by giving us the one on one attention we were seeking, answering our multiple questions, and in no way rushed us, or our decision. She showed us multiple sites and was able to find the perfect unit for us. We are going on our 4 month at Governours Square, and so far we couldn’t be happier. We had 2 (very minor) maintenance requests, and within our first week both were addressed! Unheard of!! Lots of green space and walking, so our 3 year old pup loves it as much as we do! Quiet, good neighbors, clean, and great amenities! So far, so good! Thank you Taylor, and thank you Governours Square, for making our experience top notch!!!
I am happy here. I haven’t had any issues with noise, not sure what others are talking about. I have had a few maintenance issues but resolved quickly. Wish there was more parking but that’s due to residents having too many cars per an apartment, or having immobile cars, nothing against the complex. Breyona is the office has been extremely helpful.
I signed a lease while visiting family at Thanksgiving & just recently moved in. Although it has only been days, my excellent experience with the staff (Taylor, Morgan & Paul)started right away.I couldn’t see my exact apartment, as it was occupied, however I toured a similar unit. Once the tenant left, Taylor made sure everything was spot on perfect. Installed new carpeting, (since she mentioned she wasn’t impressed w/ the carpet cleaning) as well as a new bathroom sink.Since I was in CA, Taylor sent me a video of my unit, so that I could pre-plan where I would want the movers to place large pieces of furniture. There was a slight issue w/ the shower head, but a great guy from maintenance came on time & fixed it right away. The responsiveness & genuine interest in satisfying their tenants, makes me feel confident that choosing to live (for however long that might be) at Governours Square was the right choice! Thanks Taylor & the rest of the fab Gov.’s Square Team!
Have lived here for almost a year and am not renewing my lease mostly because its a far commute from where I work and because theyre raising rent by almost $100 a month. Community is nice and quiet and amenities are pretty standard. I moved here because friends of mine lived here for three years and they had a pleasant experience and I was new to the Columbus area so I trusted it. Theres nothing about this place that has impressed me beyond measure but it is a nice place to live. Its quiet, seems safe, and Ive never really had issues. Upgraded units are nicer but you can still tell the complex is older. My biggest complaint is that because the lock on my door has been changed so many times, it can be difficult to lock/unlock. My favorite parts about the complex are the amount of pools they have, they are pretty responsive when it comes to requests, and the community is well kept (other than plowing snow in the Winter which was semi annoying). Overall nice place to live and would recommend to a friend.
I have lived here for a year and a half, and I dont really have any complaints. The grounds are well taken care of, and issues seem to get taken care of in a timely manner. The price for my unit is pretty competitive with what else is out there, and everyone I have dealt with has been very nice and helpful.
Ready for a review?I only moved here because they were the only place willing to let me bring my two dogs.Maintenance never actually fixes anything. Everything is fixed for about a few months. The A/C goes out every summer. It was 98 degrees in my apartment and they wouldnt come out and fix it because it wasnt an emergency. They wouldnt even compensate me for when I had to go buy a bunch of fans. Getting an appointment to get things fixed is impossible. Ive lived in two different apartments in two separate buildings and havent been able to take a decent shower because the water is ice cold or too hot. Water pressure also varies. Ive lived on the top floor, and both times at each apartment they had to come in because there was a water leak in the apartment below me.I also cant use half of my kitchen cabinets because they rotted from before I moved in. They fixed them with hot glue. They also mow the lawn at 6:30 in the morning, because who likes to sleep in?They also dont believe in shovels or plows in the winter. The laundry facilities is also a joke. One year it rained pretty heavily, and the parking lot flooded. Ended up four cars, including my own were totaled because of the water damage. Also, dont leave anything in your cars as break-ins are a common thing. The communication there is awful. I would get notes on my door all the time because they would have to come check something for maintenance. I would stay home and change my plans and they would never come. When I did need them to try and fix something they either wouldnt show up or change the times at the last minute. The newer staff in the office (not Stacey, I liked Stacey) are all very rude, including the manager Mike. Im always getting different answers every time I had a question. They also up your rent significantly every year. Everything looks nice on the outside, but the actual apartment is a joke. Moving out and buying a house was the best decision I ever made. My monthly house payment is HALF of what I paid living here. But boy did they send things to you all the time about how great apartment living is... false. At least not at Governours Square. On the bright side, they have swimming pools, tennis courts, and basket ball courts.
My sister and I have been living in this apartment complex for almost 3 years. Everything was pretty great until recently when they decided not to help us out. My sister and I were out of state visiting my parents (6 hrs away from our apartment to be specific) and when we came back we noticed that we had accidentally left our apartment keys at my parents house (again, 6 hours away). It was close to 10 pm when we called the emergency service line to request their help to open our door because their website listed that they offered locked out service for a fee, but the guy we spoke to told us that it was against company policy and didn’t know what to tell us. We mention that their website clearly stated about the service, which again, he just said he didn’t know what to say. We had to figure out a way to get in because we were tired from the long drive. The next day my sister sent the office an email, a long with a screenshot that we took from their website where it stated about the lock out service and explaining them the awful situation we had gone through so they could somehow fix it. As of today, almost a month later, we still haven’t heard from them at ALL! The funny thing here is that they did read my sister’s email because the next day after the email was sent they updated the information on their website where it now says that locked out service it’s not permitted. Every other apartment complex that we lived or look at has offered locked out service, which is one thing we make sure they have because you never know when you will accidentally leave your keys somewhere where you can’t easily get them.We haven’t lived at an apartment complex for more than a year because there was always something that didn’t fully meet out expectations, but I haven’t bother to give them a bad review because after all, it wasn’t so bad. Governours Square was the only complex that I had really liked and was thinking of staying there for longer, however, that has changed and I strongly believe this is the worst place, service and treatment we have had as tenants. As soon as our lease is over, we will for sure move out and make sure to let everyone we know of this awful experience (which I hope does not happen to someone) and look for a place where they actually care for their tenants. If I could I would give this place zero stars and I know this review will get a general response from their people because “they want to fix things” but I won’t believe them because if they actually wanted do something about it they would have replied back to our email to really fix things.
Ive lived here off and on over the last 35 years. Great community with decent amenities. The apartments are updated and clean. The landscape and grounds are always manicured and tidy. The 3 pools are sparkling and the front end staff at the rental office is very professional and accommodating. 5 stars!
I had an okay experience until I moved out. The apartment was fine, but not great. However when I moved out, my negative experience took hold. On the morning I returned my keys, I submitted my keys 2 minutes after 9am. They charged me a $50 late fee. Better yet, they never contacted me about the charge (I had provided my phone number, email, and forwarding address). The company sent the unpaid bill to collections. Shady, shady, shady. I paid the charge because it wasnt worth the time to dispute it and didnt want my credit to be aversely affected (but it likely was as it was sent to collections). Actually, I did dispute the charge, but after a number of phone calls and no progress I just paid the damn bill.Do yourself a favor and avoid this apartment complex.
I lived here a few years ago and it was great so I moved back, but they are under different management and it has been completely the opposite experience this time. Our carpets smell like dog urine, so bad that I had to go out and buy a carpet shampooer. Our freezer did not work upon moving in; they came out to “fix” it twice before I had to buy my own thermometer and take photos to prove to them that it was still broken. We lost over a hundred dollars worth of food and lived without a freezer for over a month until they finally replaced the fridge with someone else’s old fridge. Our dryer (which we are paying extra for) doesn’t work and they won’t fix it. They charge you $17 a month for trash and the dumpsters are overflowing 24/7. I pay too much to live here to deal with this.
If youre looking for an apartment managed by incompetent people and maintained by people somehow even less competent than the management, look no further than Governours Square! Calls and emails go unanswered, staff are rude and unhelpful, and apartments are poorly maintained. New management has really driven this place downhill and it shows.
Have lived here for about a year and a half. I like the location and it is a good atmosphere. Two stars lost because the unit i lived in has janky closet doors that are always falling off hinges which was really annoying. Staff is very nice and helpful however, when I tried to move into another place I was told that they would not be doing another check since I’ve already lived there. They did anyways and denied me because of my credit dispite never once being late on rent & I provided proof of more than enough income. The next place I attempted gladly accepted me and helped me out, gov. Square could have done more to help this situation. Maintenance is awesome as well. I would say the community location is not the best when it comes to safety (not apartments fault) I was broken into twice & someone attempted to steal my car. I move out in about a week so I will update with how that went.
I have lived at Govenours Square going on four years now. I used to love it and thought that it was a great place to live, always enjoyed having friends over to the pools and facilities. Once the new ownership took place it has been nothing but problems for my roommate and I. It seems like they are constantly trying to find ways to fine us or threaten to fine us. The maintenance team is very incompetent. We have problems with our heater that cause it to pour out condensation and saturate our carpet (My roommate working in heating and cooling was easily able to tell the maintenance guy what the issue was, which just seemed to confuse them). We are being charged around $1000 a month, both rooms dont have lights, or lights in the closet, we have an updated kitchen and new flooring, but the quality of the apartment stops right there. They charge us for trash service, but in the City of Columbus trash service is tacked on to your water bill. The list goes on and on, I had faith in them because over the years they have been nothing but great to me and my previous roommates. I would not suggest anyone to live in Govenours Square any longer. There are much nicer places in the area at a better value.
Governours Square is a great place to live. The office staff are very helpful and good at working with people coming to Columbus from out of state. The pools, tennis court, basketball court, and workout area are nice. Maintenance responds quickly. The shared walls are nice and thick, but the floor/ceiling is very loud and creaky. It is in a great location (close to parks and libraries and schools and stores) and has a bus stop right outside that stops by OSU campus.
Looks appealing with the great upkeep on the outside, but not a good place to live.We moved here about a month ago and were disappointed from move-in day. They clearly did not check the apartment after the previous renters moved out, or just did not care to fix a single thing, yet Im sure GS kept most of their security deposit. To name most of things that we noticed when we arrived - bedroom door handle completely hanging off, kitchen lights burnt out, FILTHY kitchen, carpet torn up in living room corner, base boards chipping and molding, paint chips everywhere, holes in ceiling and in every wall, bedroom window lock broken, other bedroom window not even on its track, closet doors not on their tracks, shower was black, beer in storage outside, nails all over patio, screen door did not open, and a few more things. HA! So that was from the very first day. Now that weve lived here for a month, we have put in maintenance requests and theyve showed up without even fixing the problem (something as simple as replacing a light in the kitchen). Oh! And be prepared for the maintenance crew to come into your place even if youre not home - or hope that they dont come in while youre in the shower and unable to answer the door.Neighbors on all sides do not give a damn that they have neighbors. Unfriendly, and ridiculously loud (at least ours are). But also the walls are very thin. If you live on the first floor you hear every movement and know exactly where the person is above you. I can even hear the guy above my snoring at night.Leasing office does not answer their phones. We had an important question (which they knew because it was stated in our message) and they called back one minute before close. Another time, I went in the office to pay my rent rather than online and no one was in there. Waited for 10 minutes (made me late to work), after the wait someone came out and asked if I needed something, told them I was dropping off rent and they yelled to another guy in the back who then yelled from wherever he was in the back and told me to put my check in the drop box (which I was originally told they do not have a drop box). Also there are handicap spots but I havent seen a single ramp...so absolutely not handicap friendly and the sidewalks stop at random places.Oh! One last thing, the back of the complex is literally the dump zone for anything and everything. Its been a month and the same piles of junk are still in the parking lot.Now for the positives...everything is well maintained outside and the complex feels very safe.Ive tried to hold back from writing reviews, but I felt this one was needed. Dont let the apartment they show you when touring fool you. Thouroughly inspect it even if you think you look crazy.
This is a great place to rent! Comfortable accommodations, quick and responsive on-site maintenance, kind and understanding management. There is lot’s of green space, multiple pools, clean laundry facilities, and an overall calm/quiet setting. The neighborhood is great and the staff are even better! 10/10 would recommend!
Looking for my first apartment with my girl and yikes this place does not take the cake, I havent lived here but these reviews are so messy. Major occurrence is them charging for small things in the apt AFTER you move out. Ive had an issue with this before when me and my parents moved out of an apt and they billed us 600 for dirt and grass smudges on the carpet because we were in and out from moving out. Dont want it to happen again so not renting here.
My neighbour is super quiet. I even didn’t hear anything in my neighbourhood when I lived in GS. I satisfy with the overall quiet and tidy community, but I have to leave GS because work location changes.Maintenance person is pretty kind to provide any help. In my memory, one time bathtub was clogged and maintenance came quickly. He even helped to fix door lock by the way, which I forgot to submit request before. The grassground kept so well that no kids threw trash or toys outside, not like my current community. Overall, I enjoy and miss the days in GS.
I lived here for 5 years in three different apartments. When the management changed after the first year everything when to s**t. The maintenance staff had one person who was worth anything and he was overworked so he quit. After that the maintenance was next to nonexistent. The property management is trash and will make evey little problem seem like it’s your fault. They take no responsibility for anything. I had to live with no locks on my front door or my patio door for over 2 months, a mold filled dishwasher for over 6 months, and no A/C for over 3 months during the summer. Then we are “asked to vacate” when my wife went in to pay rent for the month. We then were given 3 days to leave or be evicted.. for. It paying that months rent... they refused our rent payment and asked us to vacate... makes sense, right? Then after we leave they sue us for the final months rent that they refused to accept in the first place..... stay away from this place as if it’s infested by bed bugs or has the plague...
Beautiful grounds. Maintenance is quick. Management is very reasonable when you take the time to work with them.I really enjoyed the courts, pool, and work out facility.Rent can be high depending on when you sign - they can take advantage of you if you sign at peak times during the year.Otherwise the apartments are nice - and the townhouse style units with the patio (which I had) are great.
I’ve been living at Governours Square for about 6 months and it has been amazing! They stay on top of maintence and landscaping and even decorate for the holidays! The gym recently got some upgraded equipment too which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend living here.
GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. I’ve been here about a nine month. I am nothing but happy. Everyone has been super helpful. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I haven’t had many issues at all, but the couple of things I needed help with, staff and maintenance were on top of it. The location is perfect. I’m happy with how well kept the grounds are as well as my home. Extremely happy with the way everyone in the office treats me.
Almost 70 percent of the washing machines / dryers have been not working for a long period. The credit card swiper are not working either. The leasing office definitely knows this but said it is contracted out. There is no reason to have such contract continued and what they really should do is to fire the current contractor since they are doing a horrible job. If you plans to wash clothes, keep away from this apartment.
I have been living here for 3 years, I have to say it’s a good place to live with nice community, however, the service is horrible.I paid my rent online with email confirmation. However, I started receiving written notes saying rent is past due. I have to go to their office and show them my bank account transaction. Next day, another agent called me saying my rent is past due, so I went again and showed her. Two days later, manager called me, same thing. I have been to the leasing office at least three times for the same issue. Finally they learned they post my rent to someone else’s account. They never apologize for the mistake of putting my payment to someone else’s account. No apologize for making me going to the office three times during the snow. The only things I have received are the non-stopping written notices on the door and the harassing calls from the leasing office. This is not the first time the leasing office treat me like this, I have paid in check before, and they kept on calling me for not receiving payment until I pulled my account statement to show them the transaction. The 24x7 emergency maintenance is also a joke. There was electric sparking outside of my apartment, we can hear the sparking from the room. I called the maintenance for more than 5 times and left several voice messages, no one picked up or called back until I left a message telling them I am going to call 911.I liked my apartment and enjoyed living here, but I am really done with the horrible services. It’s time to move out.
Moved in a year ago, and weve loved this place. Its a bit expensive, but Ive found it worth it. The biggest selling point is probably that Ive never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. There is a huge, diverse crowd, ranging from families to students, and I never have issues with noise or rowdiness. My only complaint is that the maintainance crew varies wildly in professionalism, but as far as Im aware, theyve been trying to hire more staff since we arrived. Theres also one person who works at the office who is consistently rude and unprofessional, which is sad considering how great the rest of the staff is.
I hated this place. i had a studio that was way too expensive. the pools are nice but thats about it. the laundry machines always ate my money. now, this was a couple years ago, so maybe it has changed. but my friend still lives there and her rent is crazy high. the staff was super nice at first but then their attitudes changed once i got moved in. i left as soon as i could ! also not to mention, an apartment caught fire and the office staff didnt even tell us why or how it happened. and there was a couple break-ins, and when asked which area it was in, they refused to tell us. -_-
The maintenance staff are on call 24/7 and always respond right away. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds and landscaping are very well kept. There are three pools, two tennis courts, and a basketball court. The only downside is that the community does not offer recycling.
I lived in Governours Square apartments in 2012. My roommate and I kept the place very clean and were rarely there due to busy school and work schedules. After moving out I received notice that my deposit would not be refunded and a bill for over $600 for “damage to carpet”. They claimed the balance was for a stain in one of the rooms which I informed them was there upon our move in. I even had dated photos of the room from the day we moved in which showed the discolored carpet. They sent me to collections where I continued the senseless back and forth until a notarized letter from my lawyer was sent to them. Now, after 7 years, I am contacted by a collections agent AGAIN to collect a balance on this absurd claim. After moving out I heard similar stories from previous renters. Governours Square will nickle and some you am much as they can. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOVERNOURS SQUARE TO ANYONE.
Wouldnt recommend this complex to ANYONE. Nothing but trouble since the day I moved in. Very thin walls so be prepared to hear your neighbor doing everything next door. Maintenance staff is friendly, but a total hassle to put requests in over and over again for simple fixes. Be careful upon moving out, may try to charge you for ridiculous cleaning and damaging costs. Many car break ins the year I moved there as well. If youre looking for a nice, clean, safe, and affordable complex do NOT look here.
I enjoy this complex. Very pet friendly, accommodating and prompt with service requests. A majority of the people here are very friendly and nice to talk to. The office staff are very helpful and understanding. The only complaint I have is about the laundry facilities, every time I go to use the machines at least one of them will not accept my card or takes my money and doesnt work. Im not sure if it is an outside company that manages the laundry machines but they could use some improvement.
I lived in a two bed room town house for two years. I found everyone very friendly and helpful, service requests were always dealt with promptly. (though I always felt it was to expensive). My moving out experience however awful. They know that unless they charge you for more than a few hundred dollars worth of damage you arent able to fight them cause it is not worth taking them to small claims court. So just go ahead and set aside $200-300 before you move in and consider it a move out fee. (They will also increase your rent ever year just enough that you seriously consider moving but then there is also a high cost to moving so you end up staying)
Never expect a full portion of your deposit back after your lease. I got deducted 100 dollars for my final utilities for April and May. I was told that by turning in the keys early I get a couple days of utilities back but another person who answered my phone denied the fact. Extremely bad experience dealing with the leasing office.
I honestly would had recommended this place before when i trusted them but when i most needed an emergency service from them that they listed as available in their website they failed. They put false information on their website, I called them out on it and they never apologized for it. I forgot my house keys at a place 6hrs away that I drove from that day and on their portal they said they offered lock out service for $150 so I called the emergency line and told me it was against company policy. I sent them an email regarding the issue and how they were lying on their website and they never even CARED to responde to their mistake, they fixed their website though so good thing no one else is going to encounter the issue i had. Point is, they don’t care about the people living here and i ended up having to pay $215.
Did not get the unit we were initially promised because, supplier ran out of materials. They also claim our carpet was only 2 years old; however, they were ready to fully renovate my unit when I moved out. (why are they completely replacing 2 year old carpet with new?)Yet when we moved in the carpet looked as if it was already 5 years old.Expensive rent for small units.Take your business else where.
Don’t live here. If this can be rated as negotiable star, I will do it.I used to live here and moved out around September 2017. I paid the final bill right after I moved out. I was told the deposit will be mailed to me in 45 working days. But the thing is, I still didn’t get it. I went to the office serval time and called several times, all they can say is they are using different system and cannot access to my old account. They transfer me to different managers and tell me to explain my situation. What a joke.........and now they are telling me they did not see me paying any deposit......
I am showing you how bad the apartment I move in. Because of the dirty stuff and big space between the window frames, I have to use tapes to seal. I am speechless about the closet door and other old and unfixed stuff. This is a super super old 400 sq feet studio with dozens of problems but I pay around $800 per month (gas, water, etc). More importantly, I have more terrible and life threatening stories waited to share due to the building structure. I chose to live here only because it is close to a Japanese grocery and I hate moving. I feel I am so stupid to live here! I am working with my lawyer on an safety incident now. Once the thing has been done, I would like to share more safety issues about this community.
Pros:1) Perfect professionalized service maintenance and quick responses.2) Varieties of apartment styles like Studio(Ash, Willow), 1 bedroom(Maple ElmMaple Elm, PlanDogwood, Birch), 2 bedroom(PlanBuckeye, Oak, Hickory Sycamore, Pine, Cedar Walnut)3) Moderate rental range and near by bus stops, restaurants, BMV office, stores, medical shops, bar and boxing club.4) 24/7 Fitness Center with WIFI, 3 Swimming pools with public grill and furniture, 3 Laundry, 2 Tennis court and 1 basketball court and trails for walking.5) Wide car parking and lovable squirrels, sparrow, birds and rabbitsCons:1) Partial of apartments are not covered/surrounded by tress. It would be better feel if we have more trees on parking places as well.2) Need more options to select apartment while for new entry as well changing apartments.3) Common Laundry machines are often not working condition.
If youre moving in near Henderson & Kenny, Id like to let you know that therere much better Apt.s near here in both quality and price. GS used to be good, but not recommendable anymore I think. Quick maintenance, small pleasance looked beneficial before I move in, but after I found bunch of cockroaches under the sink 3 days after I move in and a mouse(still dont konw where hes from) within first month, I concluded that this wooden house is already damaged by dirtiness and cannot be fixed unless whole units are treated at once. Another concern is that they divide the total utility expenses of all the apartments by all the residences so that you need to pay way more than what youve used if youre not a heavy water/gas user. It was awful especially when I was out of town and billed slightly less than $100. Therere more to talk about, but these look enough to support that I dont recommend this apt.
Absolutely the worst place in the area. Youre paying around $700 a month to live in a slum. Rooms are disgusting, ants and other bugs everywhere, paper-thin walls, the shower jumps from hot to cold or cold to hot without any adjustments. Front desk never follows up on calls, you constantly have to call them back. I sub-leased for only 4 months because I needed a place in a hurry, thank god its only four months. Ive lived in other places in Columbus, in Cincinnati, in Arizona, in Los Angeles and this is by far the most over-priced disgusting apartment I have ever seen. The window blinds are the cheapest you can possibly find, they constantly fall off the walls and dont bother asking them to be replaced unless you want to pay double. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT LIVE HERE. DO NOT LIVE AT GOVERNOURS SQUARE AND ANYWHERE FOR BELL APARTMENTS. Youve been warned.
Thin walls, old flooring. But very big community. Three swimming pools. Three tennis courts. One basket ball Court.. Pet friendly. Also they are doing renovations. If you move in the winter , it will be cheaper. Prepare to pay more for successive years..service requests will be addressed quickly.
Taylor made our experience so easy and quick! We came in not knowing what to ask for. She pointed us towards multiple floor plans that were available for our ideal move in date, in our price range, and had all our must haves!!!! She answered all of our questions and walked us through the application process and we were approved the same day!!! We can’t wait to move in!
The only way I can get in contact with anyone from the office is if I leave a negative review (rightfully deserved). I am being up charged for water and not having insurance when I quite literally do have insurance. PLEASE CONTACT ME GOVERNOURS SQUARE THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!! AND NO THE PROBLEMS FROM THE PREVIOUS BAD REVIEW I LEFT WERE NOT RESOLVED. STOP COVERING UP PROBLEMS AND ACTUALLY HELP OUT THE RESIDENTS WHO LIFE HERE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE WE ARE LITERALLY BEGGING AND SCREAMING FOR YOUR HELP IS ANYONE THERE !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
The attitude of the service officer is awful! The concrete stairs in front of our townhouse were somehow broken before we moved in and they didnt repair that at all! Then they told us because the stairs didnt reach the level that can be repaired, which the level is subjective as they said, they can do nothing. They tried to hang up my phone with bad attitude and without solving any problem. The patio of our townhouse was dirty with branches everywhere and spiders were in our house as well, which our townhouse is renewed. Super dissatisfied and want to move out!
This place is the worst apartment I have lived in in all of columbus. They are repaing the roof to our building and have failed to clean up their trash. Our back porch now looks like a trailer park. Do not live here. There are much better complexes in the city. This place is a waste of money.
Stay was ok..but when you leave the apartment and those who travelling aboard ,please make sure they do not report outstanding in credit histroy even when payment was done. I had the same situation, I have document trail that I made payment through check (luckily I could track from old US bank account), it shows bad in credit histroy. While leaving i made sure communication could be only with email since I will staying aboard, they did care to notify me that they are considering me as defaulter.Me aware, they mess up sometimes.Hope they resolve my issue soon and take back from credit history
Don’t live here. If this can be rated as negotiable star, I will do it. The management so sucks they’ll tell u the rent something and you’ll pay more then thy said the and your gas bill will be 60 to 90$ and so bad Neighbors they not respectful. Don’t move here and safe you’re life and you’re money and it’s was the bad year for me ever.
Never live here. Currently I am living at Governours square, and water was stopped for three times only this winter without notice. Once they sent email saying that the water would be not running in 5 minutes, and they argued that they let us know through this notice!! The two other incidents were just happened without notice. They said the water pipe is too old and they do not know where the exact spot has been damaged, and that is why it has kept happening. Besides they have no plan to replace the whole pipe because it costs a big money. I ask them to compensate in any way for the resident for this inconvenient, and they say nothing. DONT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUSH INTO YOUR FRIENDS HOME TO TAKE A SHOWER EARLY IN THE MORNING.
DONT LIVE HERE. From the get-go, my roommate and I had a negative experience here. One of our cars was broken into within the first week of living at GS, his car was parked right next to the leasing office!!!! How did GS address the issue? we are not responsible, this happens here sometimes. HOW ABOUT INSTALLING CAMERAS??? furthermore, after paying gas and water every month that weve lived here, I just receive my deposit back and what do you know? A $250 water and gas bill !! Lovely. Thanks for absolutely nothing GS
Woke up to my car being broken into while visiting a friend and she got a text from them stating there’s been cars broken into a week beforeUpdate: My friend car has now been broken into last week since my last post 2 months ago she call the office just to tell her they can’t do nothing about it which is messed up they need to invest in some cameras or get a security guards out at night since that’s when it gets crazy
When we lived there The lady who let us move in lied about the rent she made it clear it would be 950 maybe a couple dollars over but no every month it was 1100 also we never once got to use any extra things they have around here the pool has been closed since we moved in there has been so many ants coming in our window we let them know and nothing happens we have to put traps out selfs if you have kids watch them outside cause people like to zoom around here like a race track and SO MANY BEES OUTSIDE if your looking I suggest not here 😄
I loved this complex. it’s def my favorite amongst the many ive stayed in. the apartments are very clean. no bugs at all. good front office, good maintenance, the grounds are kept clean and the amenities are very nice. it kind of bugged me that the gym began renovation and wasn’t finished by the time my lease ended but i know it’ll be so nice when it does open up. one thing that did bother me is that within the last two weeks of my stay, my hot water went out and i had to call for maintenance four times across a week and a half span. eventually it did get taken care of and i had hot water for my last three days. i’m not sure if it was miscommunication or what went on because usually they’re very quick on fixing things. regardless , i loved being there and def hold it as a top spot to go back to once im done with school
I would not move back here if this was the only option I had. Not only did my dog get attacked by another dog of an aggressive breed that they say they don’t allow but management misplaced our keys after moving out and said they would charge us even though the lost keys were a mistake on their end. Be prepared for them to schedule people to do “upgrades” during the day and give you very little notice. The electricians that “upgraded” our apartment left marks on our walls, a hole in our kitchen ceiling, and old outlets and receptacles lying around for us to have to clean up. We also had an excessively loud neighbor that we notified the office about no less than 10 times and they did absolutely nothing about. They didn’t care that this was disruptive to feeling like we could live comfortably in our home. They also switched management and didn’t have any information transferred over making it inconvenient for us by having to get money orders for rent for multiple months before the new online payment system got set up. The gym was absolutely disgusting for the time it was open, many machines were broken and they tried to put way too many machines into a very small space. They also renovated the gym but didn’t offer residents another gym option while it was being renovated. Their office staff changes very quickly and none of them seem to know how to communicate residents concerns with one another. We turned in our move out notice then received a notification a couple weeks later to let us know our lease was coming due and we needed to let them know if we were staying or not. We paid almost $1200 for a small, terrible floor plan that was not worth it.

2022-03-03This place is horrible. It wasn’t too bad when we moved in a few years ago but it’s steadily gone downhill. The sidewalks flood every time it rains, washers and dryers are constantly broken down, they up rent every year we’ve lived here but do no regular maintenance like changing furnace filters. They have huge rats throughout the complex. The contractors they hire are illegitimate and they steal from tenants. They stole my medication and the office did nothing about it. Once the new owner took over they upped our monthly rent to $1,400 and they upped our water fee without even telling us. There are no security cameras at all and there are car break ins and ppl getting their tires stolen left and right. I guarantee any good reviews on this place are staged or they’re old. I would not recommend this place. I know housing in Ohio is hard to find right now but I wouldn’t waste your time here unless it’s a last resort.

2022-01-21Beztak is a horrible company, I would not recommend applying or moving in here. They say they are going to “renovate” your apartment and then hire contractors who aren’t licensed to come in and do shotty work, who then steal your things, eat your food or drink your alcohol. Then when they get done with their mediocre work, half of it doesn’t work so they have to come back 2-3 more times to get it right or actually hire a professional to do it right after the fact. After they wreck your apartment, they will increase your renewal upwards of 20% for an apartment that barely works, was trashed when they worked in it and has most things torn up from their “workers”. Our vinyl was torn, carpet stained, paint scuffed up with dirty fingers and drywall holes just open and never fixed. They have also recently stopped using the company that services the washer/dryers on-site so most leak, steal money, or just flat out will not work. So you can’t do your laundry on-site at all and they do nothing about it as they cancelled the contract. And do not ever ask to speak to the RM or anyone in corporate as they will not try to help , understand, or wish to rectify any situation or problems you may have. They are basically glorified babysitters for the on-site staff but do nothing for the residents.

2022-03-08Governours Square has been nothing but good to me while living here. They’ve been great about taking care of my needs and concerns while living here. Ever since moving in, I’ve been in awe of how quiet it is and how nice the neighborhood is, which has made me love living here even more.

2022-05-17If you like sleep or peace don’t do it.The floors are unbearably loud no matter what, if I had the money for a lawyer this place would be done. They have shady unlicensed contractors, personally nothing was stolen from me bc I was there but they wrecked my place and left a soda bottle full of urine outside my daughter’s window. Communication is non existent and flat out ignore you. Unfortunately we really didn’t have much of a choice but to renew our lease, they take advantage of people and it’s sad. Some day I’ll be able to watch a movie with my family without the floorboards blaring over the TV, or wake my baby up from a nap, or make me jumpy because of loud noises non stop. I have PTSD and this is criminal. New good reviews are sock puppet accounts, which shows how shady they operate as well. Please make changes we really wanted to love living here.

2022-07-08All places have their faults and Governours Square is no exception. That said, the staff has always been attentive. They are making improvements as well. It has been a great place to live for a few years. Wish I could give it a 4.5... but we will round up.

2021-03-12I have enjoyed my time living in Governours Square Apartments. As a graduate student at OSU, it is a great location -- not too far from campus/nightlife but also a less crowded area such as the University District. The complex takes great care of their landscape making it a beautiful and peaceful place to walk my dog, especially in the summer with all the wonderful trees! The community is well-kept and the maintenance staff has been friendly and timely with every request. The amenities are an added bonus, with three pools throughout the complex, a basketball court, two tennis courts, and several laundry facilities to utilize if your unit does not have washer/dryer included. The leasing staff takes time and effort to foster community engagement by hosting events throughout the year. For example, for Halloween, they requested that any tenant planning to give out candy let them know and they created a map for the children to pick up so they knew where to go for candy without having to bother tenants not participating. I would highly recommend Governours Square Apartments!

2022-04-16The individual staff members I have interacted with in the office and on the maintenance team have been very nice and seem to be trying their best, but unfortunately the systemic communication practices of the complex ownership/management have not been great, and it has been very frustrating at times in the past year.Laundry has been consistently unreliable for several months, with broken machines left and right. A couple of weeks ago, I was unable to do laundry in my usual laundry room because renovations were happening, which I hoped meant that problems would be ironed out soon. And yet when I went to do laundry this morning, it looked like renovations were complete, but half the machines in the laundry room were still turned off which meant I had to carry everything across the complex to another building.I know the complex has my email address because I received correspondence when it was time to renew my lease (and pay an increased rent), so Im not sure why things like laundry issues, closed laundry facilities, and renovations are not communicated to residents via email. If there is an email list we can join for updates like this, it has not been adequately communicated. Last fall we also experienced a worrying lack of communication regarding maintenance, finding unannounced maintenance workers on our second-floor porch to paint without any notice, and being told that plumbing and electrical work would happen sometime within an extremely vague & lengthy period of time, leaving us wondering when we would need to accommodate time-consuming work happening in our home.I like the neighborhood and our actual unit, and Im happy that we havent experienced any maintenance issues since the fall, but there still seems to be a real lack of communication with residents.

2021-11-19The only reason there are any stars at all is because of how it used to be.I lived here for about 4 years. The area is convenient. The neighborhood is decently quiet. There are plenty of amenities. The apartment itself is pretty nice, though there are some minor issues. In the past when I had issues they were resolved in a timely manner.Lately, after the new company took over, its like pulling teeth to get anything done. They recently redid all the outlets in the apartment t. Everyone in my household works from home so I went to the office and requested they do it at a specific time so we could plan for that without missing out on work. That request was completely ignored. Good luck calling them. The phone will ring for a few seconds and then just loop right back to the menu. Emails will go unanswered. The only way to get anything done is to keep going down to the office like 3 or 4 times. The worst part is that my rent, over the last 4 years, didnt increase very much. I was verbally told that it wouldnt increase if I renewed for another year. When I got the renewal agreement my rent increased by $220! Thats a 20% increase for basically a downgrade in service! And now because it took them so long to respond to my requests for edits to the renewal I have to pay an extra months rent to fulfill the 2 months notice. I feel like Ive been conned.

2022-06-23Can’t say my review is recent so that that into consideration. Loved here from 2017-2021. Besides the thing walls and very creaky floorboards, it was a relatively safe and enjoyable property.

2021-04-16My boyfriend and I moved in, in October of 2020. First thing we noticed was paint chips all on our wood floor, the closet was basically painted shut, the closet doors are off the track and have to be lifted upwards to even open up. We had a random piece of wood left on our floor, from we don’t even know what. The up keep of these apartments and how they get them ready for new move ins are awful.Other than that, it’s a quiet complex, nice to walk around, we are excited to try out the pool this summer. But we recently noticed our bath tub was clogged. We called maintenance & Tim showed up right at 11:00am this morning, he said he had one more run to do and he’d be right back, which I appreciated instead of leaving me hanging wondering where he’s at! He came back, immediately unclogged the bath tub. He kept conversation with me and was very very helpful about how to upkeep our apartment while we are here. If you need maintenance in your apartment I definitely recommend requesting Tim to come out!! Not to mention we had trash sitting outside the door that I haven’t taken out yet & he took it upon himself to take the trash to the garbage for me when he left!!! He is great!!! So far the maintenance has been really the only good thing we’ve noticed being here...
