Upon first walking in to Goslee & Goslee, I was introduced to Zachary Bayless, who was to handle my case regarding faulty workmanship from a local contractor. Having been in contact with other counsel regarding this issue, I requested to draft and send a letter of demand to the contractor’s insurance company, which I was informed by attorneys (both before and after Mr. Bayless) was a concrete course of action.Mr. Bayless informed me both verbally and in writing that my requested course of action was not possible. He then guided me on a course of action involving drafting and sending the letter to the contractor himself. After accruing multiple hours of charged work pursing this course, with no response from the contractor and much delay in the timely pursuit of my case, he then informed me in writing that sending the letter and contacting his insurance company directly, as I initially requested, was indeed a viable option, and we could now pursue that course if I wished, although nothing that transpired between the initial request and the statement in question would have had any effect on the ability to have taken this path from the beginning.It is our full belief that Mr. Bayless deliberately deceived a client as to his legal courses of action with the purpose of generating additional income for both himself and Goslee and Goslee. Expensive “Trust transfer” charges are being billed with no prior notification of purpose or price, and documentation of my agreement to pay such fees has yet to be provided. Notice of these issues was provided to Goslee and Goslee after separating from them to pursue my case with a more ethical counsel in my corner, and although a two week additional grace period was given, neither the firm nor the lawyer has made any attempt to contact me regarding this issue as per the simple terms set forth in my letter.The lack of attention to this issue denotes Goslee and Goslees full intentions: to keep all ill-gotten gains produced by Mr. Bayless (theyve also not returned the remainder of my initial deposite), while attempting to simply sweep this issue under the rug. What an entire firm of lawyers is apparently incapable of comprehending, however, is that issues dont simply go away, they get bigger.We are now well into the process of filing formal complaints with the Ohio State Bar Association, the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, the Supreme Court of Ohio, and the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline, with the ultimate goal of removing Zachary Bayless ability to practice law in this state (and hopefully any other state as well), in addition to all lawyers knowledgeable of his actions who simply sat on the sidelines at Goslee and Goslee, allowing us to be preyed upon once again, not by a contractor, but by those from whom we sought assistance from in our hour of need.Seeking around $75,000 to cover our damages from this contractor, my daughters college fund was exhausted by the predator. Goslee and Goslee exhausted my hopes for ethical legal representation in Bellefontaine.If youre looking to be taken on a wild goose chase in your pursuit of true justice, if youre looking to do nothing with your time except continue to be victimized, if youre looking for someone who swears assistance while sucking the last cents from a young family who simply wants to provide their daughter with a future, Goslee and Goslee is standing by to swipe your money. What they are willing to provide in return is a plethora of ever illegible paperwork seemingly designed to confuse the customer, an incompetent staff unable to answer the simplest of questions, and an unending ignorance to your attempts at communication and diplomacy. Goslee and Goslee - If you value your family, just let them be; there are plenty of other lawyers to choose from.
