Hadnt been in this thrift store in a few years. Historically organized and clean, with decent merchandise. I would not describe this store as anything close to that now. While they may still try to organize some the clothes, its not working! The store looks dirty and dingy. A lot of the household items were broke, or just needed tossed period. Will not likely return!
This was my first and last encounter with this store. I was trying to donate a over the stove microwave and they guy and girl that came out to help me get it out was nice, but the guy looked at and said how old is it?. I replied I don’t know the year but it works just fine. He then told me that there not accepting this item at this time. Since when did the Goodwill deny items to be donated ?. I could see if it was an item that looked like it needed to be thrown in the trash , but I think he just didn’t want to lift it. Needless, to say I went to the Village thrift store in Northern Lights and they took the donation with no problem..
I dont like the way this one is set up now. everything is just kinda thrown on shelves that would be great for totes, but these shelving units make it easy for stuff to fall through and impossible to move stuff around so you can see it and hard to reach many things. It is looking very trashy in there. I liked the way used to be with the beat up metal shelving, it made it much easier for customers to shop. It took me longer to find the things I was looking for than it used to.One of the employees was throwing around merchandise and making loud banging sounds almost the whole time I was in there (about 45 mins.), not cool!!! I was going to ask him help with something, but he just totally ignored my presents. So he just lost the store a sale. This was not a pleasant shopping experience.
From the time I walked in to Marcus friendly and professional service to the time I checked out with all my inexpensive goodies... My shopping spree was glorious. I really hate clothes shopping, but here on this particular day, I was able to enjoy myself and my findings. It was 50% off red tag and 50% off all luggage day.
Love this Goodwill. They have a great selection of books as well as a HUGE housewares and furniture section. It is close to a HomeGoods and I often see Homegoods stuff that was slightly damaged or on clearance that was perhaps donated? At any rate I have found lots of good stuff here!
Very friendly employees but only find Made in China collectibles and unsigned pieces! Impossible to never find a signed piece of glass and I go in there every day looking. I am asking the district manager to look into my concern/complaint. Where are every single one of these pieces going??? Not on the shelves for customers’ purchase- that is for certain.
I have been shopping here since this store opened, for years I have donated thousands of dollars of items, bags upon bags upon bags of clothes, furniture, strollers, baby items, organizational items, household items, books, movies, games, luggage, toys, shoes, microwaves, vacuums........when my mom moved from her place of 30 years, I donated at least $4,000 worth of stuff that could of been sold otherwise but I just didnt have the time. I also used to shop here weekly, after raising their prices YET AGAIN IN 2019 SO THE CEO CAN GET EVEN WEALTHIER, I have decided to start donating to womens shelters or treatment centers, and shopping elsewhere. I have donated so much, they have made alot of money off of my stuff but I pay 4.99 for a kids used t-shirt, really??? I just saw the brand new stroller I donated for 45.00 I would have charged half that, this is a goodwill. Everything I come across in there I price check because I often find they mark it higher than the original retailer!!! They had bath and body works stuff the lat week and it was marked higher than bath and body works!!!! WHAAAAAAT?

2022-06-10I received great service at this location. The clothing section was large and looked pretty good. The ceramics section was easy to look through thanks to the well-organized shelves. The ceramics I found were great as well. I plan to return to this location in the future.Pictured below is a bowl I purchased from this location.

2022-06-04No! Garbage👀 and u have to ask for newspaper and wrap ur own breakables the worker said. He said customers usually wrap the wrap their own. I have been coming here and other Goodwill for years and that has never been the case. He was a bit awkward. He rushed and was down right lazy.Lol these places have gone downhill. Pricing donations as if they on Rodeo drive 🙄

2022-04-01Found a good HP 2009 W7 computer that had escaped the recycle net for only $20. Good for parts. Memory, power supply, 1 TB HD.

2020-02-04Not a bad location. Smelled a little funny inside. Overall pretty clean though. Didn’t have anything I was I looking for but was organized well enough to find everything easy

2022-03-12Decent mens pants selection, lots of womens mixed in the mens. No mens t shirts. Small housewares section.

2021-03-22Staff are polite, good sized store. The floors always have several layers of dirt, my son gets dirtier playing with their toy section than he does at the park. Often shoes end up getting stolen or missing one. The last time I went in the childrens section was a bit more organized than previous times.

2021-11-26Have been visiting this place for the past 15 years, I never had a problem with its customer service personal until they hired this new kid (20yo?) who claims to be their manager. He is incompetent and rude, definitely places a bad shadow on the company branch.

2021-06-15It seems not too often anymore that you go in Anywhere here in Columbus and have a good experience let alone a wonderful experience but in this Goodwill they are always so pleasant and the manager is just such a sweetheart I missed her name but I wish that more people had her demeanor just in life but especially in a business setting!! They truly have Good Will at this Goodwill!

2020-11-04I have been in this location a few times. Yes the organization system isnt the best but considering the volume of what they have, it seems expected. Prices are reasonable. I do not care for the few staff who care to stare as though me and my family are suspicious or who knows why. Its a thrift store. Who is going to steal from there? And we come in masked as required.... Cant say the same for the employees. Its not effective if its down on your chin.
