The guy with braids who works at the store half is extremely rude and unhelpful and shouldn’t be yelling at customers. The outlet side has much nicer staff but there is currently a shopping cart shortage and no one seems to care. Really annoying when your main source of income is reselling and you can’t even get a cart to do it comfortably. Lots of people doubling up on carts too which isn’t allowed but the workers have favorites and don’t seem to care much.
The retail store is nice but small. You still can find nice things. The outlet has a lot and the people are nice. Employees and customers. Some things you find are nasty or broken and I may next time get some gloves with me myself because of that but you can find really nice deals.
My only complaint is that ppl will load cart completely to the top of shoes, clothes, etc and take it to rear corner of store. They leave these carts there for HOURS. They pull out a bucket or folding chair, a coffee, etc. while they wait on new items to be brought out. This ties up the majority of carts.
There was a lady by the name of Tiffany who answered my questions about mattresses and box springs she was very nice polite and caring. She was able to tell me pricing and tell me where they were located in the store. Tiffany you did a great job such great customer service
I am an expert bargain shopper in found very few items that were very good economy. Everything is priced by the pound. Books are $0.59 a pound clothing is a dollar 49 a pound and miscellaneous items are a dollar 59 a pound.I found some thin music instruction books that were very good economy. I bought some brand new with tag shorts for the children but were in bargain compared to the retail price. I bought a brand new DVD for $0.35.There are much better deals in the world of thrift then this place. However, it is worth experiencing at least once. Some of the regular shoppers are used gloves to sort through the bins. There is no rhyme or reason or true organization to anything there. the books are separated from the shoes and the shoes separated from the clothes. So you basically put your cart around on going on a digging expedition.
The new manager is extremely rude. Constantly yelling at customers and always has an attitude when you ask her a simple question. Awful attitude towards customers and treats them horribly. I’ve never been so belittled and talked down to by a manager at ANY store that I’ve ever visited.
This use to be a great place to find items and make a day of it.The regular thrift stores are overpriced and items that don’t sell from their main stores and other thrifts end up here. You literally can go to regular stores and get items off their clearance racks that are new for what others are asking used. Now they are now pulling everything to sell for their own auctions and clothing boxes on line and what is rolled out should just be sent to the dump. They aren’t leaving anything to even give you hope if you keep coming back you may find something the next time.
Main manager there has been caught lying about customers multiple times. She is very childish and likes to gossip. The assistant manager Jeff is very rude and does not need to work any kind of retail position . also they are supposed to move things every 15 minutes they do not cashiers and floor managers like to take up to 45 minutes. Very slow .
Nice outlet center. Cleaner than most that I have been in, also smaller than pyhers I have been in with this center being mostly clothing (4 rows) Books (2 rows) Bags (2 rows) and misc (2 rows). Not a huge selection. Zero furniture here, just a few chairs and things but no real furniture selection. The way things are weighed here make the prices about 10 to 25 percent than the outlet on Woodman in Dayton to shop accordingly. They like to throw everything on the scale at 1.59 a pound. Adds up quick.
I purchased a Gucci watch from this location via their auction site. Upon receiving the watch, I immediately knew the watch was counterfeit. (I have considerable experience dealing with higher end fashion goods).Anyway, the watch was lightweight, and lacking the proper markings. I tried to communicate this directly with the representatives at this location, but kept being told that the watch had absolutely been authenticated (in other words, they were unwilling to take the watch back). Im now resolving this through Paypal. Typically, Goodwill stores are very diligent with their listings of fashion brands. They will not sell counterfeit items. Furthermore the representatives are typically quick to please when Ive expressed a problem, such as unmentioned damage to an item Ive purchased. Not the case with the Columbus location. The Columbus store needs to overhaul their management.
OK you have to be a die hard bargain shopper to love this place as you literally have to dig through ginormous troughs of of stuff. But I always end up finding stuff that is useful and Ive seen brand new items with the tags still on them, leather jackets, etc. Do not go their expecting to find designer purses or anything but if you really enjoy bargain hunting its pretty fun. The other thing to watch is that stuff that is heavy may not be a bargain since you purchase by weight. If you want stuff like laptop bags and zippered carrying cases this place is a GOLDMINE. If you like finding odd bits and pieces to make things with its also a blast. Huge variety of people too and they have a bathroom and pop machine which is a nice extra. Id rather do this than go bar hopping LOL.
Great place to go if youre into thrifting. They have something for everyone. The only downside is that you have to dig through a bin to find some great clothes. Also, Some of the people are rude as hell! If you have a bad back, You will want to pass. I forgot to mention, You most definitely need to bring a pair of gloves.
Went there to donate 8 bags of clothes, the person manning the counter was very rude. He even said he didn’t work there yet he had on the goodwill T-shirt and everything. He was the only one at the counter then asked if I wanted a receipt. I prefer when they had the truck next to speedway.
Clean and spacious environment. The biggest problem comparef to other outlets are the prices. $1.59 per pound. I got one bag of clothes which cost me $30. At other outlets i could have got 6 bags of clothes for $30. Hopefully the prices will change. So i can ship here and not have to travel to Dayton, Cincinnati...
If I could not give an start I would this is the most ratchet store, the manager is so rude and racist, I saw this manager that probably does not even have a high school diploma, mistreat a Spanish speaker costumer. Goodwill you make money with our donations, the last thing you should do is treat your costumer with respect. I will never donate a thing here, thanks God Salvation Army exists. Please never go to this store, PLEASE!!!!!!
The bins are dirty and full of junk. The prices are high and you could do the same at regular Goodwill stores, especially on books. People practically trample you to get to new bins as they are brought out and everyone is hurriedly going through purses, bags, and pockets trying to find money. Low class.

2022-03-03Was treated horribly by assistant manager named Charles. Had a very simple concern about a light jacket I went to purchase out of a $4.69 section as pictured. There were about a dozen of them all grouped into the long sleeve section as you can see, in sizes medium and XL. At the cashier I was told it would be $6.99. I bought it anyway, as the price isnt bad for something I liked. When my wife went to ask about the price discrepancy afterwards, a man who said he was an assistant manager named Charles constantly interrupted her, spoke condescendingly to her by telling her to use common sense. Then ignored her completely as if she didnt matter as a person, to speak to me, only to tell me some nonsense about the signs, which if he were listening to our concern, was the problem to begin with. A simple sorry for the inconvenience, putting up a sign with an accurate price or a small discount would have all been appropriate solutions to the issue raised. But instead we got disrespected . Charles shouldnt be working in any customer service position.

2022-07-04This review is only for the retail side of the store, I did not go into the outlet as I ran out of time. The prices are fair and I happened to come in on a Sunday which was $.99 day for two color tags. The clothing items are very basic, kohls, Target, etc. There was a LOT of home items on the day that I was in and they were well organized. I only saw one employee while there and she was pleasant enough while ringing me up. I took one star off because the place definitely doesn’t feel clean or well lit. Could use a good wipe down all around and maybe a scrubbing of the floors. Will definitely have to stop by the outlet when I have more time.

2022-03-20Ive been here three times...One night in November 2021, the staff was really nice and the experience was functional. However, one night in February, the staff was extremely inconsiderate. I was just looking through a bin when a staff member shoved me out of the way and pushed the bin away. They said they always start putting things away early, but they didnt in November at least. At least today, the staff was generally acceptable and they did their job well.To make the store four stars, they could make it so employees know how to be more considerate. To make the store five stars, they could clean more and make a renovation to add fitting rooms and more rows to shop from.

2022-02-26Yes they did have a few good things that you can get a great deal on but heres the thing. They have one side that is the retail side set up like the store which is decent and somewhat clean but the other side where you pay for stuff by the pound is the most heinous thing Ive ever seen. You might go there looking to pick up a great deal you might leave with having picked up a disease. The bathroom had no soap and was disgusting and the actual place where you look through old junk was super dirty they had no hand sanitizer throughout the whole place. If you go here stick to the retail side.

2022-04-12Uploaded a picture of where the 18 wheeler shipment/delivery doors are because I didn’t see any signs to take you there. As soon as you enter turn right and follow the path to the north-west side of the building. That is shipping

2019-08-31This location is particularly strange compared to the other places. The building appears huge on the outside which was exciting. Upon entering Ive noticed no racks. Just a bunch of bins filled with items which everyone rummages through. The quality of the items werent great. It was also a surprise that all items are sold by weight. What a strange concept.

2022-03-07SECURITY CAMERAS LOOK DIRECTLY INTO FITTING ROOM. Employees say they’re non functional but I don’t believe it. Not safe to try on clothes here until they take them down.

2021-10-21First time going here and I will definitely be back. I found some really great items for practically nothing. Its not like other thrift stores where you search the racks and pay for it at the register. This place you go in grab a cart and you search through bins until you find however many items you like and then when youre ready to pay you take it up to the register and instead of paying per item they weigh all of your items together on a scale and you pay per pound. I was a little taken aback when I first walked in the door but once I started looking through the bins it changed my mind about the place. The only complaint I have is the noise. It is so loud in that place from the employees in the back of the store that its a little nerve-racking but considering the items I went home with that day I think I can overlook that. I 100% recommend this place.
