Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio in other cities:
No paper towels in the ladies room and when an employee was asked about it, she saidWe just dont have any, no apologies, no offering to get some, and no thank you for letting her know that stock needs replenished.Secondly, as I was walking into the ladies room, a MAN dressed up like a woman walked out! I was appalled!!! I also told the employee about that scary incident and all she said was haha, they must have been confusedPitiful and disrespectful employees.
I went for baby clothes only to find them outrageously expensive. $5 for a well worn stretched onesie. I drove up to once upon a child and found the exact same brands for half the price and they actually pay for their merchandise rather than have it given to them. VERY disappointed.
I am a thrift store junkie...to a sickening level. Out of all the Goodwills in Stark county, this one is my favorite. The gals that work there are all great. They stock the racks with new merchandise when no one is in line, but do not keep anyone waiting when someone is ready to checkout.
Absolutely terrible place the prices for donated goods has gotton out of control ... There is no reason to shop at ANY Goodwill with the prices they charge you might as well go buy new ... The corperate greed of this place is sick . i have been shoping at goodwills for ten years and i am done being a money bank for corperate greed i will no longer shop these stores
I have been a patron of Goodwill all my life and today I was treated like a thief because an employee felt my purse was too large. I complied with the request for her to KEEP MY PURSE which had my wallet and items for my disability in it while I tried on items in the dressing room.W I was done I carried my purchase to the register, grabbed my purse and on the way around the counter stopped to look at a flannel that I also wanted to purchase at which time the same employee then decided I couldnt keep my purse at all while in the store despite me clearly carrying all my items in my hand in clear view. She was confrontational and rude to me in front of other customers. Im a forty year old mother who works hard for every penny my kids and I have, I have never been so insulted and embarrassed in my life. Idk when there became a no purse or personal items policy but Ill never step a foot near there again
This was my first visit to this particular Goodwill location; Im a huge fan of thrift stores in general. As with any thrift store, its all about the hunt for the bargain, and if I emerge with a single worthwhile gem, I consider it a successful venture. In this case, I managed to find a pair of like-new Perry Ellis shoes for $7 while I waited for my pizza across the street at Papa Johns. Considering that Goodwill stores have little control over the influx of its widely varying inventory, the hallmark of a good thrift store, to me, generally boils down to having good and friendly customer service. This was certainly the case during my visit to this Goodwill store yesterday afternoon.
Their prices are out of control.. 27.99 for a bed spread u can go to Roses and get a brand new bed in bag set for 29.00.. unreal.. the items are donated to u at no cost.. u used to have fair pricing.. now ur prices are at almost retail..and I also seen items (like legging) that walmart sells for 3.49- 5.00 u had the same leggings for that were previously owned for 12.00..
Cashier felt the need to make racist remarks about two young Latino women in front of me at the checkout line. Intolerable. Not sure if he expected me to join him in his racist rant, but no thank you. I hope management looks into this, unfortunately I did not catch his name but would be happy to describe him if needed. Disgusted.
I sure hope this goodwill is better for you all then the carrolllton Ohio one..an employee chased my sister out and called her a thief so my sister went back in and showed her where the product was in the store and the employee never even apologized to my aoater..it was an awful experience to say the least..I sure hope that employee is dealt with properly as I would if it was my employee! I have shopped at goodwill and donated for over 30 years and that was awful to say the least!
The store could have been cleaner, and the clothes selection was poor. The miscellaneous items were very poor, of the items that were very on the shelves. There were shelves that were empty. I know they can only put out items they receive, maybe they need to close this store down.
It is a rip-off company thats overpriced its not for people that need to save money they are looking to rip you off take your items and ask for the same price of what the store asked they think that you are dumb and think that you are thinking that you are going to get a good deal when youre ngoot they are a rip-off I would never donate to thee
The store has a variety of donated goods for sale at low prices compared to new itemsThey have a variety of clothing and shoes for the entire family. They usually have some furniture and electronic items. They take donations daily so each visit has some different items. They have private dressing rooms and public bathroomsThey also have a variety of used childrens toys and dolls. They have electrical outlets so you can try out a used appliance before buying itThey have daily sales using a color coding system. They use their profits to provide training and job placement for people with disabilities.

2022-06-070 I love to go thrift shopping at Goodwill they hold trash and treasures I have found a few I buy and sell vintage lamps I found a few that on the internet that fetched a good dollar. It seems to be addicting searching for those lost treasures tomorrows treasures and todays I also do some clothes shopping there I find a good selection of Levis car hearts and many more name brand jeans that I wouldnt be able to afford to go out and buy a new so we should we go with next to New 0 I have met a few people along the way they seem to be fairly decent folks so till next time thrift shop away have a good day. Also you are abel to find some nice mirrors.thr one in the pic is solid cherry on the internet it can be found fetching 350 450 dollars . Needlessly to say I paid fraction pOf that

2022-05-07After shopping there this past Wednesday, I think this will be my last time and at other goodwills. Just as mentioned from other comments, prices are way too high. I couldnt believe they were charging almost 7 dollars for a top. Ive been going to goodwills for the past few years now, and their prices went up even more from then. I get they say they help people with their mission, but what about the people who shop there? I also couldnt believe that I saw someone that works in the back, was taking the color of the week tags off the racks and taking them in the back. It wasnt Sunday when the color changes like someone else had mentioned. For now on, my donations will go to a womens shelter.

2022-04-28Always fun to come here since you never know what youll find.Dropping off donations is super fast and easy. Just pull up to the big door, give them donations, and be on your way. I love having a place nearby to donate to.

2021-10-27A good place to go in when you are bored, and want to spend some time, but their prices are often same or more than new items - to buy, just stick to retail overall than going to a goodwill. they often pull all the good stuff and put it on their auction site. thrifting is not as fun as it used to be, for sure. the smaller mom and pop thrift stores are better to hit up.

2022-01-05Every week the color changes on the tags it gives you 50 percent off that color for that week. I was very disappointed to see the worker taking the purple tagged items to the back by the rack full.Thats not fair to the people. It was a Wed. Color changes on Sunday. That was 3 days . Come on now...lets be do this right.Donations are to help the people.I thought!

2021-08-24Karen (a supervisor) gave me the worst Customer Service experience.I originally stopped in at 4pm on a Monday to buy myself dressy work clothes for my interview tomorrow. Unfortunately my toddler made a mess of their clothes and that was the first thing we bought.I purchased my child an outfit and I asked Karen if there was some place I could put the clothes on them. She refused to make eye contact or point to the direction she referred me to (the fitting room). I asked, if the purchase would count towards my Goodwill Points. She asked if I had my card. I said No, I can give you my phone number. She sighed loudly (as if I was bothering her). Before handing me my receipt she looked at her watch. So I assumed it was almost time for her to go home. So I asked, Is it almost time to leave? She just said No. I changed my childs clothes and then shopped for me.While my child was waiting for me to leave the checkout, Karen couldnt resist yelling at my child to Step Away From The Door. (The inside door is automatic and was opening and then closing)And why bother mentioning how Karen walked over to the fitting room just to inform me, No Carts Allowed in the fitting room. I didnt see a sign up, but I had seen two other customers do exactly that.In the past, coming here, Peggy has always been so nice and friendly. Always reminding me to use my Goodwill Card. I hope Karen finds a better job suited to her personality. This Goodwill may be small, but I have enjoyed the great finds here.

2021-06-15Bought 2 shirts, unfortunately neither fit, must have shrunk. Brought back to store, had receipt, however one was missing the price tag. I wasn’t asking for my money back, just to exchange as both were the same price. I got treated like I stole the shirt, having bought there before without any problems. I had always felt good after shopping there, to lose a customer for a $5. shirt, your store policy needs review. ( donated both shirts)

2021-01-23It was great! Everyone at the West Tuscarawas Street Goodwill is so friendly! my cashier and I had a pleasant conversation while she efficiently rung me out. Everyone who worked there said hello to me while I was there. The store was neat and tidy! And I enjoyed the songs they played on the Goodwill radio lol. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.
