Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio in other cities:
I just moved to the area Labor Day weekend and looking for some items for my house particularly a cabinet for the kitchen. 2 awesome workers went in the back to see what they had and brought out exactly what I was looking for! They even helped me get it in my car which wasnt easy. Ill for sure be back!
If I could give zero Stars to this location I would, not only is it a mess, the blonde cashier is not only lazy she does not even pay attention to her customers also the manager I believe her name is Gail is not only rude but very loud and ignorant I do not plan to ever come back here ever again. Theres nothing here to buy and the prices are high. DONT even waste your time. No wonder why this store is always empty.
Very nice Goodwill with a huge selection of items! There isnt one spot where there isnt a lot of things to look at, its almost overwhelming-so definitely allow more time before visiting so you can look for those gems! Prices are reasonable at this location. Employees are nice. Only complaint is I wish it is cleaner! Aisles can be dirty and products tend to have dust caked on them. This particular location does have that funky Goodwill smell to it, as well. But overall, I am excited for my next return! I found some awesome finds at great prices! Not the best Goodwill Ive been to, but definitely not the worst! :)
Was harrassed trying to donate at the outside gate drop off for not wearing a mask. I stated I was exempt, employee called me a liar and threatened to call the police. I was social distanced, I am not contaminated, I have a medical exemption. Bullying like this is inexcusable and considered discrimination and is illegal. Please inform your employees of the illegality of this or your company will be reported to the better business bureau.
BEWARE OF WHAT YOU CAN AND CANT RETURN AND FAKE UPCHARGED ITEMS THAT YOU CANT EXCHANGE.Im gonna start with the positive, the cashier that we had cashing out was lovely and sweet! Her name on my reciept was MBA unfortunately I do not know the actual name.My Negative experience:I bought two Fossil Purses at the Brookpark location where it is normally obvious to spot out a fake purse these 2 were not so obvious so I didnt realize until I got home and was able to spend more time examining them. These purses were on the upside of price for Goodwill. On the receipt at the bottom it says Goodwill gladly exchanges clothing within 5 days with your receipt and the tag attached to the item. You will receive store credit or an exchange of equal value... No where on the receipt does it say you cannot return any other items as well. So me thinking the least that could be done is they let me take it back since it was the next day after purchasing and I could just exchange for store credit. I called the store and Andrea answered the phone. At first she was helpful said she would check that I just need to call back in a few minutes. I called back and then she became rude while I was trying to have a calm conversation.Andrea: Im sorry but we cannot exchange items that are not clothing as stated on your receipt.Me: Alright, well I will probably write a review so that other people dont make the same mistake.Andrea: Be sure to put on there that we dont advertise that they are real. (although they price the name brands higher...?)Me: I will, I just want to make sure that people understand that though it doesnt state at the bottom that you cant return items other than clothing and that what was purchased was fake they wouldnt be misguided.Andrea: (this is where she gets rude) Well did you ask ?Me: No, at every other store and goodwill I have been to the customer doesnt need to ask. The cashier is the one who usually says just so you know you cannot return etc.Andrea: (very rudely) Well no. No we just cant do that we are too busy for that. (I was the only one in line and other stores are not.)I hung up on her cause it wasnt worth my time nor anything nice she was saying or that I could.Im thankful and hopeful that the money I lost out on in a sense could go to a good donated cause. To respond with this kind of customer service at an establishment toward goodwill is rude and un necessary. Every Goodwill is not like this.BEWARE OF WHAT YOU CAN AND CANT RETURN AND FAKE UPCHARGED ITEMS THAT YOU CANT EXCHANGE.
I went there, staff was so friendly, available to help and the cashier answered all my questions. The prices are awsome Im a plus size so i found so many winter clothes and didnt even spend 30 bucks. Its the first thrift store i go in and it doesnt stinck and its well organized. Clothes are in very good condition. I Didnt like The one on Loraine Ave, items expensive, staff wasnt even attentive. I will be back to the one on Snow rd. Thanks for the great and nice service.
Today was the first time checking out this goodwill my family & I said we’ll never come back. Very overpriced don’t waste your time coming. You can buy stuff brand new for the same price. My family & I love to go thrifting and I don’t mind spending money but not at those prices. Total disappointment!

2022-02-26My fiance and I were shopping and she was using the store provided wheelchair. She was walking behind it for a couple aisles as she is sometimes able to stand longer periods than others, and likes to have it near by in case she needs to sit down. An employee approached her and said Are you gonna keep pushing the wheelchair around? Do you really need it? Even after explaining my condition to her she rudely made comments to me, like it looked like I was pushing it around for fun and that if I have a condition then maybe you should sit down, as she walked away. I cannot believe that a store that prides itself on helping the disabled, would discriminate against someone for a disability simply because I am not elderly. You dont have to look ill to be ill. Ironic that your advocacy statement for people with disabilities is to achieve social acceptance and integration. Lesson learned...bring my personal wheelchair from now on because the public wheelchair is only available for those who they deem ill enough to need it.

2022-05-08I love shopping at the goodwill you never know what youre going to find. Its just sad that they keep increasing their prices as if the stuff doesnt get donated to them. Some of the items they mark up so high you can get the stuff cheaper in a retail store.

2021-12-10I know everyone needs to make money but um... thats a bit high for a soldering station, especially a used one.I plugged it in and the heat gun doesnt work and the suction pump doesnt work only the soldering iron.I like shopping here but thats just madness.

2022-01-14Decent prices but there is NEVER a worker at the register except when the 2 younger girls are working. The older women here are NEVER up front. I have to consistently go find someone to check out. This has happened every time I go there that it deserves to be noted.Thank you for the passive aggressive reply. Typical.

2021-09-20Im starting to feel like your ripping the consumers off!! this merchandise is donated and you guys tag it like its new. The reason for a Goodwill is to help your community people who cant afford it and you are selling them to expensive like they are better off buying new clothes. Even if you sold everything for $1 $2 $3 you will still make a profit. You are using donations for monetary gain

2021-09-01A lot of items in the store are over priced. As an example , within the past few weeks there were a few drills that were half or more of full retail prices and they were not of brand new quality and one for 46$ was missing the battery . I waited and at the goodwill on pearl I found a drill and impact driver set with 2 batteries and charging dock for 26$ Lower prices = higher product turnover in my opinion.I do agree with a lot of the other comments posted about the cleanliness of the store. Very clean and the employees are very nice . Also as a side note and as a second shift employee myself , staying open until 9 or even 10 pm would give hundreds of second shift workers the chance to stop in on their lunch breaks.

2021-04-20Since I have to go into the office for my new job, I knew I would need a few business casual outfits. 2 days in a row of easy shopping, I was able to score some great finds and put together at least 8 different outfits to mix and match for under $100. My finds were 5 dress pants, 3 cardigans, 3 blouses , a coat for winter, and 3 skirts. Staff was friendly and I will be returning. Thank you.

2021-07-12Prices were ridiculous high. Ide like to seriously know what percentage of the retail sales actually go to the 26 charities that Goodwill supports? Electricity has not gone up and all thenitems in the store were FREE! so again explain why the prices are so expensive. Many items you can find at Walmart for less money. So honestly, why even bother going to Goodwill anymore?
