Goodfellas Pizzeria - OTR in other cities:
Pizza tasted kinda ‘meh’ and under-seasoned, I can name two other pizza spots that taste better (and around the same price) and both are in the Clifton (Dewey’s Pizza) and Newport (Strong’s Pizza) areas a little ways from Goodfellas Downtown Location.Beer/cocktails were yummy though so three stars instead of two. I order the Marilyn Monroe, which tasted like an alcoholic version of lemonade. Quite refreshing.Goodfellas has large pizza slices, so if you don’t have taste buds like mine, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth and be content.
I will say from someone whos had some great pizza all around the world Goodfellas is by far one of the best. The staff is very hospitable and engaging and the food.... well lets just say good coma incoming. The speakeasy upstairs has a great variety of drinks, but I will say the wooden Nickel is my favorite. I could and have drank those all night. If youre ever in an area with Goodfellas they are a MUST to go visit.
Great place for single slice or whole pizza. The atmosphere is great treated very well by staff and they were very helpful on our selections, being new customers to them. The bourbon bar upstairs is the bomb, very knowledgeable staff. Last time I was there we walked in and right back out not seats. Went on a Monday late afternoon. Will definitely go back.
Placed order online for lunch. The email said my order would be ready at 7pm. Im on the phone with them, phone laying on the counter, listening to the kitchen laughing, helping other customers, 4 walk in orders now, and no sign theyre going to pick the phone back up. Do not tip if you make an online order. Good luck getting refunded.
Super good calzone. Good beer selection, and great whiskey selection. Only bad thing was waiting 10 minutes or so for anyone to say hi. Waited around looking completely lost and staff was too busy stocking and cleaning the bar. Not a bad thing, but a quicker acknowledgement would have been much appreciated.
Lawd have mercy that pizza was off the chain! I ordered online and my food was hot and ready at pickup. Being open until 3am is perfect when your out partying downtown and need something to not only fill your stomach but tastes good too! I ordered a large so I can have leftovers but, I knew it never would of made it to the car. I even told people where I got it from as I was walking down the street eating it. I was upset that I didnt get to order one week because it was too late. I now have a full game plan on when to order so I dont miss out again.
Pretentious and self-congratulatory. Bar tenders are so focused on showing their flare, (yeah flare, you know like 2000 era TGI Fridays), to actually do their job. Sat there multiple times throughout our 2 hour-ish stay with empty drinks. And all we were drinking was bottled beer and water. There were approximately 9 people at the bar and 4 tenders. Had to flag someone down to order pizza. It was delivered without plates, napkins, and accoutrements. Dont even get me started on the ridiculously overpriced bourbon. You could buy a bottle for what they charge for two drinks. Im giving 2 Stars because pizza and peanut butter jelly shot was good. But I would skip this place and not play into their self aggrandizing fantasy.
Unimpressed. Had to wait 20 minutes past the pick up time (which was 60 minutes after we placed the order). Got the order wrong (missed one of the breads). The sundried tomato and cheese bread was not good. The garlic butter was inedible (it was almost solid and reminded me of popcorn butter sludge). Pizza was fine but not worth making the trip. Staff did try to make up for it but we wont be back.
I love this place always so good and tasty every time that I visited Cincinnati thats on of official stops always good experience. Good staff great service and you can watch how the make the pizza right in front you to bad that they dont have one on my city very well recommend I had visited several stores in different states always great #WelldoneGoodFellas #Ilovethispizza
Anyone from the East Coast will be suspicious of locals claiming this place has the best pizza..., but it is a clear contender. The za is excellent and it doesnt have the coagulating pools of grease hallmark of a NY slice. You will not be disappointed with this the pizza from this establishment. Apparently, Saturdays are extremely popular here, such that there is a doorman/bouncer, according to locals. Seating is very limited. Buon appetito.
Honestly 5 stars just for the young guys who work there. Especially D and the other guy who wears the glasses with the pink lenses. I am from out of town And went there on Tuesday night after a couple drinks with a friend. They gave us a ton of suggestions on where to go eat and what to see and were just super friendly and genuine. Thanks y’all.
2 words... SO GOOD!!! Friendly staff and welcoming environment - essential components of a great dining experience. The pieces of pizza are huge but reasonably priced. We had to definitely bring home the leftovers. Parking could be a little better. We had to pay $10 for parking and walk a couple blocks. However we will be back again. Thank you to the staff for an awesome time!
I love this place. I will admit, I have never bought an entire pizza from them, but I frequently drop in for a single slice and a breadstick. If Im being completely honest, I drop in for a breadstick and a cheese sauce maybe too often! If you go, the cheese sauce is a MUST. Their ranch isnt my favorite, but the garlic is top notch. They have a lunch special that is a killer price.
Guests and bar staff witnessed a man physically assault a woman, and once the bar staff was asked to do something they said “you can call the police if you want, we’re not getting involved”. Want a disgraceful and dangerous environment. I’ll never be backResponse to Owners Response: I too am in the entertainment and hospitality industry, which is what prompted me to write my review. I would never give a 1 star review unless it was 100% warranted. No one from your bar staff attempted to de-escalate or remove that patron, they simply came from behind the bar to yell at people trying to forcibly remove the assaulter. Another bar guest had to take matters into his own hands in order to keep said woman safe, which I applaud. You had ZERO security working, and a member of your kitchen staff had to come upstairs to de-escalate what was already done. This isnt a matter of opinion, its what happened. You can continue to remain neutral on the matter, but several witnesses would say otherwise. I called the police because the woman did not feel safe leaving the premises, as the man was still outside your establishment. The police thanked me for calling.
Well well well.. You wake up in the middle of a night hungry, they are open for you till 3 am in the morning.. Bringing magic to your palette from basic and simple ingredients. The core of Cincinnatis vibe and energy can be felt in a small corridor of Main Street; The Goodfellas is has lived upto its hype for me.
In town over weekend for work, and needed a quick meal! (total out of towner, I googled) Easy to get too. Ambiance and decor was spot on, plus friendly and nice staff. Very quick for a bite to go... 12 minutes! Prices were great, portion sizes for price was spot on. Taste was delicious! I will return when back in town. I say try it!
Went here with my girlfriend the other day and I have to say this place is awesome! Reminiscent of the traditional, New York Slice Goodfellas, is able to establish a good rapport with customers in such a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high-quality pizza. The slices are the size if your face and tasty til the last bite! Definitely returning here soon
Im from put of town and my friend suggested this place as a good hole-in-the-wall type of place. Walked in right before the lunch rush. They have a lunch special where you get 1 slice from the case, 1 side or dessert, and drinkI got two lunch specials for 13 dollars. They handled the lunch rush with poise giving appropriate wait times. Thus place is small.but they do got an up stairs. They play up the Goodfellas theme with names for their pizzas that reflect mob bosses and such. They even have a picture of ice T( old school) on their ice tea dispenser. Lovely eats and cheap lunch.
First, Im a PizzaExpert and I reviewed this pizza on YT.It was loud in here with the music although it was stylish and hipster but I chose not to eat in. I did wait for a fresh slices pie to come (about 5 mins) so I could also get the freshest sense of this pizza. They were accomodating even though they had slices on display. The pizza was actually very decent. Edge crust was a lil thicker than I usually like but bottom crust was evenly cooked and perfect thickness.Cheese was a lil dull but a little bit of salt can help boost it. Sauce was bright and fruity. Good flow throughout. It was a giant slice compared to most and for around $4, it was well worth it.See more in my video review on YT
This place is amazing. I love OTR in Cincinnati for the ambiance and the employees are excellent and fun. I got a 17-inch half-and-half Goodfellow and boss. Perfect pizzas. I ate so much I was so full. Perfect way to end a Friday evening and get the weekend started. plus I ran into Tim Robbins and he walks with me for a little bit. Really cool guy in real life. Hes a good actor and a really good dude. I dont know what he was doing here but I dont care, Im just happy I got to meet him.
I really enjoyed the slice of artichoke pizza I had, and the location with the bar upstairs was pretty sweet. Its definitely got a great thing going as a hangout spot, and it was clearly popular. The New York-style pizza was fairly priced and tasty, and the workers seemed pretty cheerful.
Goodfellas pizza is just okay. Its drunk food. They call the pizza New York style. If you have been to NYC for New York style, youll see that Goodfellas is not really New York style. Its much thicker, bigger, saucier, not as fast, etc.Ive been a few dozen times though mostly hang out at the Wiseguys lounge upstairs instead. Wiseguys is awesome (5/5).I had a weird experience at Goodfellas last night though. Its very common for people to bring pizza upstairs or drinks downstairs and eat them together. You can order pizzas from the bar upstairs too. However, late at night after we waited in line to get in, got drinks from upstairs, hung out for a bit, and came down to get a few slices, we were told by the bouncer You cant order pizza inside late at night. You have to finish your drinks, go back outside, and wait in the line again. What? We just waited outside to get inside for drinks... but they did not care. At that point, the wait outside was 20+ minutes.Thats pretty unreasonable to me. Im in your building with a tab open and you wont let me give you my money. At what other business do you have to wait in line twice to get food and a drink?I hope they figure out how to both crowd control outside on the weekends and keep their customers inside the building happy too. We left and took our business across the street to Lucy Blues where we got a hot pizza in five minutes and they were very friendly and professional.Next time Im grabbing pizza Ill probably consider some place else. Im really looking forward to the forthcoming Taglio OTR location.
I do love the pizza here, though its not really like the pizza I had when I was in NYC. THat being said, the puffy chewy crust is pretty good, and no complaints here - i just would temper your expectations if you think youre gonna get a new york slice here. You can order online, and its super conveninent. The takeout order is almost always ready when they say it will be ready, and thats a huge plus.
I absolutely loved this place. This was my first time ever eating at a Goodfellas and I wasnt disappointed. The pizza was huge! The crust had just the right amount of crunch. The sauce was not too spicy, just perfect! The pepperoni covered the entire pizza. We ordered the Tommy Two Tones, it has extra pepperoni.
Pizza is good needs more ingredients on them tho.Respond to Response: Sir it was my first time trying the pizza I did get a whole pie that time not a slice..After my very first pie I knew that if I wanted more toppings I can and would pay for them..I did not feel like I insulted your food after all I said it was really good.
The gentleman behind the counter was amazingly helpful. He was very polite and nice and joked around with us a bit. We got a large pizza and a sun dried tomato bread. They were both absolutely delicious. I couldnt stop eating the bread and it was finished before we got home. The pizza was amazing and fed 4 large adults with plenty for leftovers. I love this place!
Friendly staff, overly generous on portions, reasonable pricing, multiple levels for you to choose from for seating.Enter to some ready to go foods and photos of some famous goodfellas like James Gandolfini, Sinatra, Robert de niro and so on.Pizza, Calzones, breadsticks and plenty of other options.
Ive come here a few times over the years when Im working and visiting for a lunch break or just casually coming for dates and hanging with friends. This place never disappoints any occasion. They have really good lunch deal too. Around 6 bucks you can get a massive slice of pizza an equally giant breadstick and a drink that comes in a cup thats worth keeping. Good food, bar, and always good vibes.
Get rid of the steroid meat heads outside. You ask them a simple question like is it alright to come in the building and look at the menu and pizza? and the meat head says its cheese, pepperoni, and cheese..duh?? I said is it alright to look at it inside so I know if I want to wait in line? The meat head response why should I let you go ahead of everyone else? I just wanted a simple yes or no if I could look inside? Is it that hard? And by the way I wont bother you again your majesty no worries...UPDATE!...STOPPED BY ON A SUNDAY AND HAD TO CHANGE MY REVIEW. WASNT CROWDED. NO BOUNCERS. AWESOME INTERIOR DECOR & PRICES! YOU GET A LOT FOR WHAT YOU PAY FOR! NICE SELECTION OF FOOD & DRINKS! THE FIRST EMPLOYEE I INTERACTED WITH WAS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL! SHE PROVIDED ME A SIMPLE RUNDOWN OF THE MENU OPTIONS, AND MADE THE BUYING PROCESS QUICK AN EASY WITH A SMILE!
This was our first time eating at Goodfella’s and it was not disappointing. Brandon recommended the white pizza and it was delicious. The medium size was huge and the pizza was fresh. Brandon also told us about a location that just opened near us in Chattanooga Tennessee that we are looking forward to visiting soon.
The Employees were extremely friendly and even though we arrived just minutes before they closed, they still greeted us with a smile and the gave us more than exceptional customer service. The entire staff was very friendly and I was very happy with the fact that I didnt feel rushed or unwelcomed since they were all just minutes from going home. I am also assuming the young man who waited on us was the manager and because they were about to close up the manager gave us a great deal on our food and the food wasnt old in fact the quality of the pizza was just as good as one that had just come out of the oven. But even though the pizza was average the staff was not. Our experience at Goodfellas was great and I would eat here again and recommend this place to friends and family.
Two words, great pizza. Im no longer a eat the whole pizza kind of guy. However, I had to restrain myself with this Goodfellas pizza. My goal was to save some for my Wife. On one trip for seconds or thirds I realized that it was nearly gone. I actually had to tell myself to stop. I could have easily eaten the whole pizza. Nice job Goodfellas Over-The-Rhine. 👍🏾
Great pizza, fantastic service!!!The pizza was delish but the service was outstanding. I called ahead and ordered a pizza but was late to pick it up. Despite my mistake the fellas at goodfellas made sure I got my pizza even though they were about to close and it was a busy Friday night! They were kind and looked out for me. I appreciate their help and service! I’ll be back soon :)
Best pizza in the entire city and they have the most hard-working and amazing staff around. With everything going on with staffing shortages, the managers are there every day working super hard to make sure their customers are taken care of. Everyone that works there deserves a massive raise for everything they have put up with through Covid and everything else going on right now. Also their cannolis are amazing.
We were told by a few people to check this place out when we were visiting, and we were not disappointed! As soon as we stepped in the door, the guys downstairs cooking greeted us and told us there was space upstairs to have a drink and order food. The bartenders up there were amazing with their bourbon knowledge and friendliness. The pizza is great. We will definitely be back next time were in town!
Great place for a slice and to grab a hand crafted cocktail when visiting from California. Had an Old Fashion, and was talked into the Wooden Nickel, something I wouldnt have chosen but was pleasantly surprised with its smokiness. My lady had the Juliet, another great cocktail served no where else. Will definitely go back.
This place is hands down some of the best pizza in town and the enviroment is super cool. Pizza is huge and the crust slapped. Service was great and super friendly, one of the managers chatted with me and the boys for a bit since they were from outta town and I really didnt want to explain all places to check out to them. Pointed out some spots to hit afterwards. They knew what was up (Im from cinci but buddies werent). I cant wait to go back and bring my daughter and my family. Will be going back. If i could give 6 stars I would! Keep it up yall cause its fantastic!!! Will be recommending.
Decent pizza that can easily hit the spot, but horrible and very slow service. Often when you go in and stand there waiting to be served, there will be an employee right in front of you but they won’t greet you or acknowledge your presence in any way for quite some time - they just keep doing whatever they are doing without even looking up, as if they don’t see you. And then it always takes way longer than it should to check out. The cashier is also in charge of answering the phone and taking down carryout orders, and it is not uncommon for them to take a call and put in an order right as you are checking out, which can take as long as five minutes - when it would only take about thirty seconds to take your payment. They have the most disorganized and poorly conceived ordering system of any restaurant I have ever been to. Incredibly inefficient. A pizza-by-the-slice place is supposed to be fast, but for some reason it always feels incredibly slow, and I can never quite pinpoint what is making it take so long. The employees are curt at best, and sometimes outright rude, probably because they are poorly trained. The manager at this location must be either totally absent or absolutely terrible at his or her job. That’s my impression. On the plus side, the food is not bad and it’s neat having a pizza-by-the-slice place in Cincinnati. The service just needs drastic improvement. After a series of bad experiences, I won’t be going back anytime soon.
Delicious pizza and great service. They were able to accommodate my requests and my large order. The pizza was made right as I arrived. Ordered 8, 22 inch, square-cut pizzas and every one of them were great. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and surprisingly there was only half a pizza left for 40 people. Highly recommend coming here. Great variety of vegetarian options.
Goodfellas has nice late night pizza. The portion or slice sizes are large and therefore fill you up on one piece. Bread sticks are yay and good quantity. A variety of flavors exist for the pizza choices. Quality is usually high with a did once in awhile. Overall very good and much better than Lucy Blue!
Amazing pizza (I may be biased because I was once employed there and have nothing but respect for the staff and management) but one thing that I found sort of upsetting was the fact that my favorite pizza, the Jimmy the Gent, was taken off of the menu without a replacement. I know the ingredients were maybe not cost effective, but it would be nice to have an alternative pie in its place. Other than that, I love this place and I know the owners care about both customers and employees to the highest degree. I just wished they would add to the menu after removing some items.
The pizza here is fantastic. Its served classic east coast style so each slice is massive. The flavors were also excellent and authentic. Its a very casual pizza shop atmosphere downstairs but I have to imagine it gets pretty hectic during the busiest hours of the day. You can also take your meal upstairs to the bourbon bar and sit around the tables that they have there. Overall I would highly recommend Goodfellas if youre looking for somewhere to get a quick pizza fix in Over The Rhine.
I would have given this place 5 stars over and over again until two weekends ago when I encountered a female bartender in the afternoon on a Saturday. Came up from downstairs with pizza, sat and waited for a drink. Watched her walk past myself and boyfriend multiple times and give people who sat down AFTER us drink menus. She then continued to take there order before even acknowledging us. The chairs where turned in so as she was passing I asked if the area was clean? She said yeah without even looking where I was. There where two empty shot glasses and a drink cup with just a sip of someone elses drink left and some ice. I moved them myself to the bar mat (went and washed my hands) and they where not touched by the time we left over half an hour later. This woman is wiping down chairs but not picking up glasses people have already drank from?! AWFUL bartender. AWFUL service. Cleanliness issue!
I had to leave stars but I never actually got to eat the food because I placed an order online when everything said they were open but they weren’t yet their online ordering system accepted my payment and told me my order would be ready the next day. Nowhere online or in their ordering system did it say that they were closed. I am guessing the pizza is great however I just spent 55 dollars on nothing :( Now I can’t even cancel my order :(
The pizza is extremely delicious. I definitely want to order from here again. However, picking it up was a complete nightmare. There was absolutely no where to park and there was a line out the door. Maybe next time Ill try on a weeknight instead of a weekend. Also, the workers did a real good job in keeping up with the crowd.
If youre a fan of thin sliced pizza this is the best place in Cincinnati. Im a fan of thicker crusts but this place was great. The only problem I had was they forgot about my calzone, but they were very busy so understandable. They also have a wide variety of other items in their menu along with some fun names. They also sell pizza by the slice so you can try a different toppings to see what you prefer.
Good pizza and service, bread sticks was ok, a little on the hard side. The slices are big ny style ones. They gave me a super small slice at 1st and when I pointed out it was significantly smaller they gave me a huge slice along with my smaller one. They do charge I think 60 cent for each topping though. Theres a bar upstairs when more drink options than you could imagine.
Friendly staff, clean and aesthetically pleasing restaurant and bar. 3 floors, and each one is pleasant. It’s a nice place to let loose after a long day of work. Ordered the calzone and it was huge!!!! Perfect place to share with someone. The men working were all so kind and happy to help! The pizza slices are gigantic and always fresh!!! Must check out if you are in the Cincinnati area!
I visited last weekend with my friends and we loved it. Excellent customer service and excellent food, those are the only things that matters to me and both were great. On top of that, the vibe and atmosphere is awesome. Will recommend to everyone and will try to visit every time I go to Cincinnati !
Got a full pie instead of by the slice and it was very good. We waited about 45 minutes for the pizza even with a relatively short line downstairs (less than 6 people). Drinks were reasonable prices and the bar staff was VERY friendly and helpful. I would certainly stop by hear again the next time Im visiting OTR.
This place has an awesome atmosphere. The first floor is somewhat small but mostly intended for carryout. The second floor houses a bar and plenty of seating. The New York style slices are a good size and the bread sticks are very delicious. I simply enjoy the all wood interior of the place. It has a great location downtown. I definitely recommend this place.
Good pizza in big slices. The crust is great and they go light on the pizza sauce so that it is flavorful but does not overwhelm the toppings. Downstairs seating is limited, but there are more seats (and a bar) upstairs. Its a fun place to share a few slices with friends.
Went in for a quick slice of pizza with my boyfriend and daughter. Been there before but this was my first time going upstairs. It was pretty nice. My only complaint was that one of them wanted a sub and was told that it would be a 20 min wait. So we all just got pizza. Decent little place tho.
Pizza slices and breadsticks are HUGE, reasonably priced pizza. Its not the best Ive had but it will do if you are i the mood for pizza. The employees were nice. The place has 3 floors a nice place to have lunch or to meet friends for pizza and drinks, or to bring the kids!
I love this place, and they have a very good lunch special that saves money, along with a rewards program that makes it easy to save some more $ that I know we all wouldnt mind to have. The manager is a very great, respectful man that actually cares about his customers. The pizza is great, the 3 foot long breadstick is delicious, with a drink. Well enjoy yall!!
This is kind of the perfect spot to end or start your night. It has multiple stories and begins with an awesome, inexpensive, and super available pizza selection. The bread sticks are serious huge! Like grab-a-yardstick-huge (seriously, share these). And they have that New York Style pizza that is larger than your face. Grab your food and make your way upstairs, thats where the party starts. The bar upstairs is a whole other story. Ive always been impressed with the bartenders and the decor alike. Plus, the drinks are well made and fair priced. I find myself here at the end of many nights out in Cincinnati. Its quality is reliable and consistent, which I appreciate.
My husband and I were out of town for his work and picked this place because of the reviews. I want to help you out if youre doing the same as I did. The pizza was different than any other pizza Ive ever had. (No really) As soon as we walked in we were greeted. (We mustve looked confused) They asked if we ever been there. We said no, its our first time. The guy gave us the run down and we decided to go upstairs and eat at the bar. The bartenders were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the bourbons they were selling. Always a plus when they know about their products. They have a good beer selection as well. It was absolutely delicious. I was so happy to find out we have one back at home. I will be back! It will just be the Indy location!I also loved the old cozy feel the place had to it. I absolutely loved all the wood and rustic feel. Bravo on making something different!!! I highly recommend going here!
The best pizza. Not just in Cincinnati, but anywhere.Ive had pizza in Italy, New York, Chicago, California... none of it holds a candle to Goodfellas. The lunch special is one of the best values in town - the bread stick alone is worth the price, but with a huge slice of pizza and a drink? Unbeatable.
I wanted this to be better than it was. I ordered a calzone and salad. Salad was prepackaged...fine. I expected the calzone to knock my socks off and it didnt. Part of the dough was still raw. The flavor itself was very good, but was not baked enough. If it was done, it would have been 4 to 4.5 stars
Great pizza, and I especially like the Calzones. They are absolutely massive and full of cheesy goodness. I enjoy sitting at the upstairs bar and ordering over the more family friendly downstairs. The late night staff is super friendly and has even done custom by-the-slice orders for me!
I always know its going to be a good night when I have a warm slice of Goodfellas pepperoni and banana pepper pizza tucking me into bed. I have had many friends tell me that no good pizza exists in Cincinnati and I need to go to the East Coast, but then I take them here and they consider it the exception. All hail Goodfellas.
Delicious New York style pizza by the slice. Only $3 for a slice of cheese pizza the size of your head. The bread sticks are good too, and they come with a cup of dipping sauce. Fast service. We went at peak time on Saturday night and didnt have to wait longer than 10 minutes.
Dont let the entrance fool you: there is plenty of space upstairs and at their outdoor patio space. There is a bar as well. Top seating area offers a nice view. You order up front and wait for you food. Menu is moderately priced and pizza slices are quite large. Get a breadstick as long as your arm! Cannolis are wonderful too!Casual and inviting restaurant. Good for dates and casual outings.
Was out with some friends for a triple double date and found our way to Cincinnati by the end of the night we were all in the mood for pizza so one of our friends suggested this place. I’ve never been or had Goodfellas before, it was okay. Not the best pizza I’ve had and not the worst. My biggest complaint would have to be not a ton of space, it was a very tight space for everything going on.
Good drunk food, but awful lunch service.Dont get me wrong, Goodfellas pizza is actually pretty good - the slices are large and tasty when fresh. Most of the ingredients are pretty good quality and the atmosphere is pretty awesome; especially when the outdoor patios are open. The lunch service is a disgrace. I work about 3 minutes away and Goodfellas lunch special used to be an obvious choice in terms of quality and price. You can get a slice, side (breadstick or salad or desert) and a drink for $6.47 after tax - one of the cheapest OTR lunches you can get and way better quality than a fast food joint. It just isnt worth it anymore. They do a loyalty program and I waited over 3 months to use my $5 reward because I was so worn out by being continuously disappointed. A group of people I work with were heading that way last week so I reluctantly joined. Again, I was disappointed, but this time, it wasnt really a surprise at all.On a typical lunch day, lunch slice pizzas are almost purposely delayed and will not get in the oven until close to noon. Meaning the lunch crowd is already waiting or they end up getting an hour old left over pizza (that needs to get reheated). The lines quickly back up as the three employees juggle 5 jobs. Only one of which is capable of multitasking at all. None of the employees understand how to clear lines and you end up with the one guy ringing people out chatting on the phone for over 5 minutes while the rest of the line can not physically move because he cant seem to figure out how to ring people out while taking a simple order on the phone. Another guy literally takes 10 minutes to piece together a pepperoni pizza (yes, dough and three ingredients) - and he doesnt even put it in the oven. The poor sap that can actually do some multi tasking is making and rotating pizzas in the oven, boxing up lunches, making bread sticks and flipping dough. All the while the line is backing up out the door and sales diminished because some dumb manager cant figure out that a 3-4 hour part time shift can put together lunches, clear lines and answer the phone. The organization is so bad that the lunch shift is accustom to reheating every single slice in the oven for customers. No one there has seemed to notice that this adds over 1 minute worth of line delay per customer. Not to mention that the customer is definitely not so happy realizing they are getting an older slice. This message will probably fall on deaf ears, but if someone is listening, you need to fix how you run the lunch service. It is so embarrassing that I refuse to enter your restaurant any more and I used to be a 1-2 time a week customer.
The amount of food is staggering considering how reasonable the price tag is! Delicious pizzas and the breadsticks are seasoned with magic seasoning dust. The bar up stairs is plentiful and the bartenders knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely one of my CINCINNATI go to’s
The perfect place to start and end a great night out, the food is always great quality and the staff is always on top of their game. Ive even ran into and sparked conversation with staff from other locations visiting. All around quality people combined with good food and bar service keep me coming back!
Their single slices of pizza are huge for only $3, and the employees are also excellent. The vibe of this place is incredible too, as GoodFellas OTR features an upstairs lounge area, along with a 2 story back patio. I wish it was summertime so I could enjoy it even more! I will be back.

2021-11-29The staff here was really nice and personable! We came in right before the crowd got there. They were very friendly. We ordered a whole pizza and it took about 20 minutes to make give or take a bit. It was basic, half cheese, and half pepperoni. The crust was soft and melted in your mouth. The signature for me was whatever they made their sauce with really stood out from other pizza joints Ive been to. Theres a huge bar upstairs Id recommend as well. But the pizza and friendly staff are my reasons for wanting to come back!

2022-02-27When hype meets reality you get a restaurant like this. We tried some pizza and an order of buffalo chicken breadsticks. Both exceeded expectations. The pizza is a relatively thin, but doughy, New York slice with a crispy bottom. Staff was kind and was working hard. 10/10.

2022-07-08We are glad we found Goodfellas. Pizza is great and we loved the atmosphere. Kids were so excited the pizza was as big as their heads! Brandon was great and Goodfellas will be on the must do list when we make it back to Cincinnati.

2022-06-24Not My first time here. Probably a couple dozen by now. That speaks in itself! 🤷🏾♂️ Look.. Im a big dude. Literally. 1 single topping Pepperoni does me right and I walk out paying under $5 for the slice. I tip well everytime because its easily worth $8 to $9 based off fullness alone. Added bonus is it tastes pretty damn good too.. especially considering the cost. If you like pizza its definitely worth a try. The cost is the added bonus.I am NOT affiliated in any way with this place. Just a good spot to eat in Over the Rhine!

2022-05-04Excellent experience. Pizza is great sold by the slice or a whole pie. Prices are good and the place is really nice. Three levels of seating with outdoor seating available. Nice bar with lots of selection. Definitely check it out.

2022-05-09Amazing pizza, but even more amazing staff! I was there last night and inadvertently left my backpack with my laptop in it. I stopped by this morning and was greeted with a warm welcome and my backpack was returned! Kudos to a great group of people!

2022-07-10New yorker here on a weekend getaway, first off love the atmosphere, pleasant staff, portions are generous, pizza is well priced and I love the decor. I do have to say this is not a New York style slice though, the ratio of cheese, sauce, bread is off, and the dough is too thick, which is not a bad thing considering the area and the ability of this pizza to soak up alcohol. To sum up, they don’t have the special ingredient - the NYC water.
