2022-08-212016 they lied and said I needed emergency surgery. 2020 got records and seen in notes, nothing has changed since 2006 or 2008. π I wish I gotten records within statue of limitations. Always ask for test results and records. They all just want $$$ when they see private insurance.

2022-09-14Great staff for the most part seems like they care. Walked out of Miami Valley hospital because they laughed at my gf while she was in pain and kept missing her vein for an iv.snd and this hospital is great

2017-06-15My boyfriend and I are camping near Dayton. My boyfriend woke up yesterday with a skin irritation that needed immediate attention. We went to the emergency room at Good Samaritan. We were incredibly impressed by the service and care my boyfriend received. Everyone, the intake person, Med tech, nurses and doctor were friendly, professional and very attentive. Being from Chicago and being use to the amazing care given by Northwestern Hospital, we came to Good Samaritan with very high expectations and they did not disappoint us. Thank you so much for the wonderful care you gave my boyfriend. We highly recommend this emergency room.

2017-09-26Horrible. Everytime I visit this hospital it is always a bad experience. I try to avoid going to this place but it is three minutes away from my home and I go when there is an serious emergency. One time I had visit this hospital, one of the nurses literally shoved an needle into my skin trying to rush the procedure and I was bleeding everywhere and in pain. She was rude to me the whole time and would interrupt me everytime I said anything. She was huffing and puffing also. The nurses there are just very rude. I took my daughter there last night and she was crying because she was in pain from an infection she has. One nurse walked past our room and told another nurse I need to shut that door oh my goodness. The other nurse replied Yes please do! As if they were irritated with her crying. Whats the point of being in a medical field knowing that your going to have to deal with things like that? The hospital staff always seem to have attitudes and they rush you and dont take time to even see whats wrong with you. I always have to go to another hospital the next day just to find out whats really going on. Good Sam really need to do better with their staff.

2019-04-05This hospital frightens me. I went to the mental Ward once and they sedated me without permission because I was asking questions. Recently, I changed jobs and experienced chest pain, with a history of blood pressure, leaky valves, etc. They claimed I was fine and sent me home with anxiety meds. Im sure I had a heart attack and will seek a second opinion.

2018-06-06Emergency room gave my wife a local sedative which she had an adverse reaction to. They evidently had no idea what to do and once it settled down somewhat all they were interested in was getting us out the door. Not sure I would trust this place for any type of emergency again, even a broken bone.

2018-06-08I called up to the front desk to be switched to patient access (didnt know thats what it was at the time) and the lady at the front service desk was extremely rude and hung the phone up on me. I called the supervisor and reported her, too bad I didnt get her name. WAS NOT THE EMERGENCY ROOM.

2017-01-05I went to Good Sam North at the end of oct 2016 for a possible retinal (eye)problem they failed to tell me that they discontinued to pay a retainer for optical doctors so the regular practitioner or doctor could not see I had a retinal tear, but they sure ran me up a large bill for many services which would have to be repeated later, then transferred me to Miami Valley Hospital.I guess my biggest question is if the are truly a part of premier partners ,Why wouldnt they transfer me immediately since I had a driver with me and save me some valuable time and money on a health issue that was time sensitive? My immediate answer is stockholders! They have lost me as a customer and me and my insurance company have spent over 50k on prior heart stint installation over on salem avenue in the last 10 years.
