Good Neighbors does a lot of good in our community. I took a load of donations there for the first time and saw the volunteers at work - I was incredibly impressed and touched by how much they care. This location is the food bank, and they accept donations of all sealed, nonperishable foods. Additionally, theyre always looking for coats to hand out to those who come in without.
No one should feel ashamed or embarrassed to ask for help. You will not feel that way here, at all. Everyone is very kind and so willing to help those in need. You always receive fresh produce and items that you really want to eat. There are always extra items that you can help yourself to, bread, rolls, bagels, produce. And, there are books and magazines available to take home, as well as paper products, clothing, toys, games, soap, detergents, etc
First time coming with fiance needing food for Grand daughter whom we have temporary custody. Waited till 10 min past the time they were to have opened and no one showed. I understand if its bad weather but today it was 30 degrees with just a little sleet and icy rain. Hardly what I would consider reason for not opening. Not only were we waiting but others in need as well. So needless to say was disappointed by first visit. Not even sure when we will have the opportunity to return due to our work schedules.
When you dont have enough food to eat that is your special place to go and the people have a nice smile for you and they are helpful if they have staples you get some always pray for the food you receive and the people who gave it to you. Goodyear. Heights wonderful place.

2021-11-03I felt like I actually went shopping myself and the quality and variety was great. I was happy they had organic food. The only small issue I had was I received pork and I dont actually eat pork due to religion. Overall they didnt give less or treat me less because I was in need. Thank you good neighbors!!!!!

2021-10-28When in need, these people care, without judgement. Very friendly bunch of people. The place is clean and organized. I was in and out in minutes. They have the job of giving down to a science. Definitely recommend them with confidence.

2020-12-10Good Neighbors are a HUGE help to me when Im low on food. They give all kinds of stuff like fruit, vegetables, milk, eggs, bread, and some kind of meat! And the people who volunteer or work there are so nice and treat you with respect.

2020-02-19Their food distributions are greatly appreciated by those in need. However, they dont seem to have proper temperature storage or refrigeration for produce, so the produce goes bad very quickly. Even though this is a charity that gives items free to those in need, even those in need dont want to receive free produce which has already gone bad. It is rather insulting to someone to have a charity feel that they are not deserving of being given produce that is still good and usable. Giving bad produce to those less fortunate is basically the same as handing them a bag of garbage and expecting them to eat it and be grateful for it. If the food bank cant get proper storage to keep produce good, then they need to stop dealing with and giving out produce altogether. The volunteers are greatly appreciated too.
