My waitress must not have liked me or something because she acknowledged that I asked for a glass of milk and said she would be right back but then didnt come back to my table or say anything.
The dinner menu is excellent, everything you can think of is here. Quality of food is very good. Steak and ribs, worth the trip!

I came in the morning before 10am thinking they were only going to serve breakfast but found out they serve brunch meals instead of breakfast. Which is dinner choices mixed with a few breakfast choices, the drinks were only foundation soda, tea, water and coffee. Wished they had more for breakfast but the servers were friendly and the food was good nonetheless.
I am a big fan of the Golden corral franchise. This is the first time I have eaten at this location. I feel some of the food may have been not cooked properly. Overall, still pretty good food. Food. Love having the variety for when something you may have wanted wasnt quite prepared for your liking. Normally theres plenty more options to choose from.

What happened to all the food selections? Why do places like this start off really good then slowly over the years they quit caring about the customers? Server didnt refill beverages. Food was just ok. I suspect this place wont be in business much longer. I would not recommend this place nor will I return.
This place to great! There is so much differnt types of food to choose from! The place is always clean with nice employees. They pay attention to when you need you coffee or beverage refilled. Even the area were you get your own food is alway clean and replenished with more food. I have three different pies for dessert that did not cost any extra! Go & anyjoy!
Was really busy this day. Our server really hustled and we appreciated it. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. Looked like a few items were out of stock so selection was a little off. All in all a good visit.

This place is garbage anymore. No meats for salads, horrible selection and the things they did have were either burnt or out. Along with that, some patron felt it was ok to use the urinal to relieve themselves in. And I dont mean relieve themselves of urine. And the waiting staff, whether understaffed or not, no manners, no respect and horrible customer service. This place needs to be closed or under new ownership because its GARBAGE.
Great Food, BUT, FOR 3 OF US IT WAS( 2 ADULTS& A CHILD, IT WAS 45$, WITH DRINKS) we got there at 7pm and they were already clearing and puting up tables and puting food away already, they were upset because we ask to sit back in the back, there was no where else to sit, it was packed. The food was good that was out though.
Been here a few times and every time the buffet has had a nice selection and has tasted great. The employees have always been nice and polite and the place always looks clean.

If you cant do the bar minimum of changing your hours on Google you dont even deserve a star. Imagine putting this little effort in at a restaurant, the food isnt getting anymore attention.

Now its overpriced. Same food higher price. Not worth $20.00 at all unless you eat a whole lot of food.

The food was fresh and fantastic. Great friendly service. Reasonably priced. They have a great variety of food. There is something ther for everyone. The cook making the steak was definitely making some fantastic steak. I would definitely recommend stopping by. You wont leave hungry.
The food and atmosphere was great at this location. We drove 40 minutes to try this location out and so glad we did. Parma Golden Coral which we are closer to has been aweful with food cold or overcooked and dry meats.
The food was delicious and yummy.Loved the variety of food and the staff were great.Our server was delightful and full of cheer.My favorite dish during my visit there was the smoked sausage with peppers and onions. Yummy! And the honey chicken was outstanding and flavorful

So heres the thing...Havent been here in awhile so wasnt sure what to expect. Food was good, hot and decently fresh for the time we went. No ham and chicken to put on the salads. No candies for the ice cream for the kids, what happened to the gummy bears. Waiter kept the plates cleared off the table and drinks refilled. Now heres the kicker tho...lets get to the bathrooms. The stalls are so small its hard to get into them and Im not even a person of bigger size. Then the stall door I was in was held on by wire coat hangers. Bathroom was dirty and smelled. I would have rather went in the parking lot then feel like I got a staff infection from the dirty bathroom. Probably will go to canton next time I want to eat here.
This location has really taken a poor turn since the pandemic. Many foods have been dropped from menu. Resulting in many empty spots on the buffetService behind the buffet not good. However there are several outstanding servers that are a joy
Overall a good breakfast experience. The waitress was attentive and the salad bar was fresh. I only thing that is not good at breakfast is the hasbrown casserole it is always undercooked.

I checked the other reviews before I decided to write this one... I sat at my table, had dinner and started scratching the back of my leg before we left. It was itching non stop. I didnt think anything of it since it was pressed up against the chair. I went out to my car and the itching increased and I noticed about 10 bed bug bitesall over my calf!I immediately walked back in, demanded the manager, and he said it was just an allergy and gave me 20% off our next meal. Ive never been back.
I picked up a to go order last Saturday. The food tasted fine but I woke up the next morning and threw up. I was sick all day long and could not hold any food down. I even had to call off work the next day because I felt so sick. I will never ever eat here again
Changed my review from 3 years ago due to my experience tonight. Arrived and saw the sign on the door We are understaffed, please bear with us. Walked in with low expectations, as understaffed USUALLY means poor attitude by staff that IS there. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was VERY obvious that they had about a third of the crew I would usually see. But that third - those are your rock stars Golden Corral. They were working non-stop. They had a GREAT attitude. And they truly CARED about what they are doing. The food was great. Hot. And your workers kept up with everything that was thrown at them. With all the negativity in retail during these times, this staff needs commended. In particular, the young girl that worked at the Home Depot end. Im in Retail Management. This is a great crew!!!
No staff no drinks dirty silverware and only got silverware for 1/2 of our group. Horrible selection and tasteless food. Never going back. Management sucks

I had such a pleasant trip to Golden corral. I had a large party of 16. They were busy and they still made accommodations for me. The manager was so amazing she arranged us to have safe seating within 10 minutes and even dealt with an unpleasant party before us with class. Our waitress provided fast service we never had to ask for anything.
Very impressed overall. All of the food was always stocked hot fresh and delicious. Even with a very large party it was unnoticeable that they had such a large crowd. During dinner rush hour service was great place was very clean and staff was friendly courteous and on top of it. Definitley the best golden corral experience ever and we will definitley be back to this location. 5 stars for sure.

The food tasted great. Amanda was an awesome waiter. My only complaint would be Golden Coral needs to do a better job at keeping their food hot. They also need to do a better job at having coverage at the different food stations so that the workers do not leave their stations unattended unless they have somebody else to relieve them.

We were here for Veterans day (husband) The service was excellent. They had kids from Green ROTC program helping They were excellent....very well organized. Highly recommended.
Very clean. I really like how they do the buffet now. I wasnt even going to go until I went in and asked how they were operating now. They serve the food to you from behind glass. Only 1 person touches your plate (with gloves on) throughout that whole section of the buffet. We happened to go at a time when we had a whole section to ourselves. They bring the rolls to the table now. Only thing that bothered us was it was very cold in the restaurant.

Well, Golden Coral was the only thing I ate today food wise. Went in for lunch completely fine and healthy. About 2 hours after leaving, well lets just say I needed the toilet and the trash can.

Got here at 12:28pm and was charged for dinner?? Their posted information said dinner starts at 4pm. $38 for two people to have lunch. Two stars because the waitress was great though the person that checked us out was pretty gruff.
The food was good for a buffet,.of course.They practice social distancing and have hand sanitizer stations in each line thats roped off. The only thing I was concerned about is when I was there they only had one waitress. One. She made her tips though she was so nice.

Where to start.....It was straight attitude from the moment my family and I walked in the door. Very insensitive people to children wondering and touching things- they’re kids they do these things.The people working the bar stations acted like it was so hard to hand people plates. I get they’re not used to actually working but due to the pandemic, that has changed.The food was ok I guess.Our server was the only nice and professional face that was in that place which is why he received a nice tip.I do not think we will be back.
Worst restaurant ever the food was not changed almost the whole time I was at the establishment. The workers that workedwith the food were too busy socializing thanmaking sure that the food was fresh. The only items that were changed were the steak and the mashed potatoes. People continued to come in and still they remained cleaning letting the people eat that old Food. This was the absolute worst restaurant and service that I have ever experienced The absolute worst! !

10 months ago, I visited this location in hope for a pleasant dining experience. I was let down greatly. I stated in that review it would be quite some time before I went back. I am pleased to say, this time around was a world of difference. The steak was cooked perfectly, and my father said he could actually chew it this time. The food was freshly prepared, and the staff was excellent. I would like to see a bit more selection on the seafood, but I could have just been there at an odd time. If you havent already, I highly recommend the carrot cake. Solid 9/10 experience.
My wife & I really enjoyed GCB. Walked right in, sat right down ...Remember that song on the radio? Well, the workers were very courteous & helpful too. Now. The buffet tables are not fully staffed with food, due to the present issues. However, we really believe that what food they are preparing is better tasting than ever before. Im not spoofin now, the food is great right now. Including all the fish dishes and veggies. And the fruit is too. Go for it, and enjoy!
For $15, it is not worth it. Food is mostly bland and lacking flavor. Everytime Ive gone here, it just doesnt sit right with my stomach for the rest of the day, so not sure whats been done with the food to cause that. For what the price is, food should be at least prepared better. Waiting staff is great, but need better cooks, Id say...

Stuffs are very friendly, food is good. They have good steak served in dinner time. Steak is well seasoning and perfect cooked. Their steak station is at a good hand. The server cared about customer, she came up couple of times to see if you need help or satisfied with the food or service. Definitely recommend this place.
Went out to eat with my folks, and I have to say I was very impressed and pleased! Food was fresh (I highly recommend the fish) the grill master was my guy he was great to talk to while the steak was cooking! Service was very good! The ladies were very generous, always making sure we were taken care of. I was very impressed because its been a while.since Ive been there. Will come back again!
I was at your restaurant yesterday at Akron, Ohio @ 3:10p.My boyfriend pushed me in my wheelchair into the restaurant, we heard the Cashier treating previous customer RUDELY! The without a HELLO, the Casher preceeded to tell us that ,We close in 20 minutes! RUDELY AGAIN! So...the restuarant closed at 3:30p. My boyfriend also notice that they were shutting down the buffet 20 minutes early, and their were customers still in there eating. So we left!! While we were getting back into the car, other customers were trying to go in & denied service and they were just as angry just like us.I was looking forward to a nice meal with my boyfriend. Especially since this was the first time I was out to a nice restuarant, since I was in the hospital with Covid /Pneumonia & Rehab for 6 weeks in June 2021. Your restaurant and employee ruined it!So SHAME ON YOU! I looked online there was nothing about your restaurant closing early. Then, your rude employee. This is how you treat your customers, no wonder over half of your corporates restuarants are closed. Speaking of corporate, I am calling corporate headquarters about this situation. I used to love eating at your restaurants, but now I dont know if I will be back. We will see what corporate says...
Missed going, they do ask you to wear masks on and when collecting your food. It is still buffet style, but shields are in place the staff wears gloves and serves all requested food on your plate. Silverware and drinks brought to table and refills as usual. A big thank you out to the staff at Golden Corral our server was on it, the lady at salad bar stayed busy, the gentleman at the fried fish was a real sweetheart and I want to thank the manager for purchasing the restaurant is to my understanding if he had not done so they would be permanently closed down. It has been a very LONG TIME since Ive eaten at an All you can eat Restaurant! And I have to say I was surprised!! Not only was this place clean, but everyone was very kind and helpful! Also the restroom was clean, and thats a Plus! And the food was very good, and they were very hands on with serving as well as making sure no one was hovering over the food, especially children 10 and under! Great Job Golden Corral! 5 Stars***** 👌👍

The food was worth the money. I only had 4 other people with me and I spent $91.59.
We picked our seat. Then you go to the buffet and they put your food on the plates for you. This is fine but in my case they put too much food on my plate. I usually like to get very small portions so i can get more items. The server was very pleasant and kept our drinks coming.
The service was great, the staff was very accommodating. Most important the food was spot on. I do not get to come through Ohio at all and for my first time this golden corral was the bomb. Thank you guys for the super positive experience. I had a salad the was big as mount Everest along with a steak and the food looked very fresh indeed.
My girlfriend said she didnt know what she wanted. So I thought to myself, I wonder if there are any buffets left around me. After a quick search and a short drive my girlfriend could have what ever she wanted. We both were pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was! We tried so much our first visit. I loved the popcorn shrimp, and all the Chinese food. For dinner on a Sunday it was busy but the food was fresh! They were quick to top off all the dishes. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean! I liked that it was partitioned, you could hardly tell how busy it was noise wise. We will definitely be back!

Wasnt bad. Wasnt sure how GC was going to rebound after buffet ban was lifted. One way entrance to the buffet line have to sanitize your hands before they give you a plate. I guess they opened cafeteria style prior.
The salad bar prepper kept wiping her face. They were out of ice cream. The icee machine was down, the chicken was dry.
I was very disappointed with this location. I enjoy golden corral the have hot fresh food normally and generally friendly service. This night i came in with my family of 10. The employees working the drinks and cash register were very friendly. The food wasnt very fresh and it was taking a long time for them to refresh there popular dishes. No potatoes they were offering a wing special and had no wings. I asked for a piece of medium cook steak and the grill guy tossed a piece of steak on my plate and said there you go and proceed to talk to another employee. I sat down to a very well done piece of steak . I went back up and he had no more steak on the grill. When i asked he put some on but to me i dont understand. My son asked for a refill on his fruit punch and the server took his cup threw it in dirty dish containers and never brought us another drink . My son had go back up front and get a new glass. Then desert time and they were out of strawberries and there marshmallows where hard as rocks. I asked if they could get some more and new and was told no more strawberries and eventually got some more marshmallows. I wont be going back to this location.
Terrible service. I had to get up and ask for refills, to clear our plates and for rolls. Workers were EXTREMELY rude to everyone and us. Lastly to food was super gross and cold not 1 thing any of us got was good or hot not even warm. Everything ice cold. Paid 50 dollars for the worst experience not worth it at all. Please dont not waste your time guys
Really great food and an unbelievable spread. Each employee was very nice, kind, and professional. I couldnt go back up to the buffet though because there was a hair in my cottage cheese and it pretty much turned my stomach. I did point it out to our server and I heard her tell someone behind the line to pull the cottage cheese so I thought that was pretty cool. Oh I will go back, just not anytime soon.
I would leave zero stars if I could.. only the manager and one of the waitresses(Amanda) were friendly. the dishes were not the cleanest, some even had little pieces of food left on them. I watched a woman in the kitchen POUR the taco meat out of a plastic bag into the serving container. the buffet counters were not kept clean and had food mess all over. and the ranch dressing.. absolutely terrible. Also the view from our table was a nice moldy corner by the emergency exit door. Not sure how this place passes health inspections.

Great food they always keep it hot an rotating the old food to new food.also very prepared for a buffet during covid they make sure you sanitize your hands everytime you come up before you get a plate, they have barriers for the food so everyone isnt jus gonna ng up an around people there is a easy line threw the food like a cafeteria. Ive been to several Golden Corral restaurants across the Eastern states and this one ranked among the best. The food was all fresh and well stocked. The desserts were amazing. Some places use cheap ice cream mix in their soft serve machines, but it was not the case here. The service was also very good and the staff was all friendly

To each is his/her own when it comes to this place. Some days the food is fantastic, some days its garbage. Some days the service is good. Some days its treacherous. I use to eat here frequently till the (ethnic types) started working there. You ask em a question about something and they get all smart with you, or its a big ole hassle to tell me what an unlabeled item is like Im supposed to just guess. But its like that anywhere now. People dont believe in treating people like human beings anymore

This is my first time eating here took one bite and we left. Food was cold and nasty like is old. The restaurant smells like it has some serious health problems. Im surprised they are still in service. The baby changing table has old dried of poo on it.. disgusting!!! I do not reccomend eating at this location! And check in service was not great the cashier was busy talking to the other employee when cashing out! $30 in the trash!
This is the second Golden Corral that Ive been to this one is very delicious as well I believe the food is a lot tastier than the one Ive been to a park but my do I do go to the one in Brookpark often this is my first time in many many years going to this go to Corral and it was delicious the customer service was great the food was delicious when I say theres a lot of flavor in their food and I for One Love Flavor because Im a restaurant owner so I love flavor and they got the flavor the menu items there were a lot of items but during the covet I can understand why they dont have a lot of choices but the choices that were there were great choices I love it so if youre planning on going to go to Corral I do recommend this place Im for it youre a low-cost group eating its nice clean and sanitized and there you go

Golden corral has been the go-to buffet restaurant for me and my family/friends for the better part of my adult life. To be honest, it almost seems like a part of American culture. The price is always right and youre practically guaranteed to leave with more food inside you than you thought possible. With all that said there are a few things I wish were different. Firstly, even though there is quite a number of of dishes to pick from I do wish that their buffalo wings were not only an occasional thing. It seems like I always miss them. Secondly, it can be sometimes very busy there given that it is so popular and that means there is often a wait to get a refill on your drink. An easy way to solve this would just be to allow people to get their own drinks. Im sure theres a reason this isnt the way it is here but honestly I feel like it would take a bit of the load off of the sometimes preoccupied waiters/waitresses. Aside from that the only other issue Ive had is that sometimes theres an absence of food or food that has been in the warmer too long to be appealing to eat. If these issues were no longer present I cant see a reason to ever rate this eatery below a 5 star aside from accidents and unavoidable situations where people would have negative perception.

Nicely maintained buffet. Freindly staff. Full salad bar. Dessert bar had limited selections but what was there was good. Fried fish was quite good. Did not like the stuffing. It was too moist and mushy. Service was very attentive. They charge additional for coffee. I thought this came with the buffet.
My experience here was awesome. The food was fantastic. The lady chef was incredibly helpful and very positive. The receiving attendants were very gracious and they immediately saw to my requests and wants. A absolutely wonderful visit.
Wonderful food and prices are great. Free coffee and delicious steaks cooked to your liking. All 5 of my late Mothers Children was there with spouses. We had a great hostess.!Early Bird weekdays $8.53 Desserts included.
All you care to eat. At night they have steak. Lots to choose from. Many desserts including icecream.
The salad bar was very limited! Was disappointed. But the man on the grill and the gentleman who was out server was terrific. Just dont go if your looking forward to salad

Tonight it wasnt good.. The food is basically what you would expect, buffet food. However, the staff apparently didnt feel any desire to wait until closing time to start clearing items off the line, and they were dumping raw water by the giant bucket load onto the kitchen floor while we were still trying to eat. Somebody also decided they were going to take whole trays of food to go and emptying completely every piece of fish, ribs, etc.. leaving us dine in people to wait until the cleaning crew decided to get back to putting out more food. Usually its not so bad, but today was awful.
What can I say? It is what it is, but it always exceeds my expectations for quality. We had a great experience and I honestly cant think of a single reason not to go here.
I havent been there for years and my friend and I went in there the other day and they have the best food and such a huge variety and I would recommend it to anyone
We have to give a HUGE Shout Out to the OWNER of this Golden Corral location our Card got flagged & we had to step aside & call our Card Provider. Once we found out our Cardholder stated we were outside our normal spending area {mind you we were still in the city we live in LOL} & they wanted to make sure it was us! So, all was good however, we had to wait 20 minutes before they could run our card again. We stepped aside & was going to wait out the 20 minutes & this host walked over to us & told us, Go eat & pay before you leave. He looked @ John & asked, Promise? And of coarse we replied, Promise. Anyway, come to find out that was the OWNER. We went up paid, Thanked him, Shook his hand & went on. We NEEDED an interaction like that with all weve been through this year!! Great place, AMAZING Food & Priceless Owner & Workers!!!
This happened to be Veterans appreciation tonight.It was so wonderful to see the staff keep the lines moving,and assist the Veterans.They were genuinely happy to help.The food was great,as always,but witnessing the respect and kindness toward our Veterans was as sweet as any dessert.
I went to this restaurant on April 15, 2019 and the food was so delicious and seasoned to perfection. Me and my mom were enjoying our food until she found A FLY EMBEDDED IN HER SALAD. And you want to know what’s worse?! When I told the manager he didn’t even apologize! He took the plate I had in my hand, mumbled something and a lady came up to start the refund. But wait that’s not all!! THEY ONLY REFUNDED ONE MEAL. A courtesy refund of both our meals to say “I’m sorry that you found an insect sleeping in your salad” was not established. NO ONE APOLOGIZED. I will not go here again and am looking for different sites to review this place.
Social distancing is in play. Waitress or waiter gets your drinks, rolls, butter e.t.c. Buffett is served to you as you walk the line. There is no touching of anything. Food was great and so was all the staff. I was really impressed.

Havent been to a Golden Corral in several years and our first visit to the Arlington Rd in Akron location and I could not be more satisfied. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was kind and professional and for a party of 3 we tipped our server $40 😁
Even though it was Thanksgiving and very busy, the line went quickly. There was plenty of fresh, well prepared food available. Our server Mario was really attentive to our needs. This was great. I am never cooking Thanksgiving dinner again.
Nice variety of choices. The steak burgers on the buffet was especially good. Of note : 1 to 4 pm senior price includes a drink and is just over $8. The price is not available on Saturday or Sunday to my knowledge. Easy access to I 77 at exit 119(Arlington st) North on Arlington.
Awesome food. Daughter asked to go and I have only been there a few times so wasnt sure what to expect but was very impressed.
Place looks a little run down from the outside, but the interior is nice, the restaurant looks clean and modernized. The service we received was great. The food is pretty good for a cheap buffet, the steak I had was very juicy and tasty. Overall, had a good experience and will come back in the future.
Im not sure if Ohio buffets were ever closed due to covid but Im sure there is a chance to scrub the carpets and clean this place up. The process of getting your food is not explained when you come in. Youre never told you cant grab a plate or Serve Yourself so lady was being rude acting like someone should take my plate away from me.And the worst thing is the food ended up messing my stomach up.

Went at night around 730 not to busy for a Friday the hot food was decent and restocked the stakes where grilled nice but the salad bar and dessert bar were slim pickings...The worst part is 3 out of the 5 waiters were eatting right off the buffet and even introduced herself with a mouth full of food and her hand over her mouth..That was 15 min after we sat down..she refilled the 2 adult drinks and when she came back 2 of our 4 asked for another drink she said want me to just bring them big ones. (Could have been a nice thought) but felt Like it was to much for her to have to come Back. The waiter came to our table a total of 3x each time with food in her mouth or drinking a drink..No I did not tip and thats something Im big about.but how do u tip for NO SERVICE..AWFUL
I love Golden Corral. I have Celiac and Type 2 Diabetes and GC enables me to eat a great meal within my parameters. GC keeps me healthy!!!
Went there for an aunts birthday gathering. Tons of food choices. One of the few surviving buffets from the late 80s early 90s weekend hometown buffet briefly changed the way that Americans dined. The process are still reasonable. I think that people with young children prefer buffets because even the picky child can get the meal that he it she wants. They offer prime cuts off meats on certain days to attract the picky adults to the buffet. We had a large party if around 30 people and we hadnt made a reservation. They were able to accommodate us. Not many places can do that and everyone gets hot food.
A bit crowded. The variety of foods was amazing. full salad bar. YumEntree bars where Chinese, fish, meatloaf, beef stew, real mashed potatoes, ham, sausages, steaks cooked to order, sides galore, and very tempting desert bar featuring a chocolate fountain.Service personnel were quick to remove plates and refill glasses. We go there often
No self serve! Covid Compliant! Fresher Food! Great spacing of seating amongst dining families! Sadly no more melted chocolate, though for Strawberries.

**UPDATE**I gave this location another chance. This time for breakfast. Oddly I had the exact same waitress as last time. Though this time the tables were clean and her uniform was clean.The meal was great! My faith in Golden Corral is partially renewed.My one complaint on this visit was that breakfast was supposed to last until 11am. They started changing to lunch menu at 10 minutes til 10am. It made me feel rushed while eating from the breakfast items.**1 year ago**My trip started with their app. It showed their lunch price, Monday thru Saturday, as $8.69. When I got there I found the price on Saturday to be $11.99.I then had a hard time finding a place to sit as most of the empty tables were full of dirty plates.I had two sets of silverware at my table. Neither had a clean spoon. Both sets included a dirty spoon.The waitress came by after I was done with my first plate and drink. Her apron was disgusting. It had food slopped all over it.Many of the food items were either non-existent or had been sitting way too long.I went to see about some steak. The cook had a pan on the grill with multiple types of meat on it, all laying in grease. Disgusting!I went to get a clean plate and found one with food on it. I set it aside and observed an employee putting it back with the clean plates.Where is the health department when you need them!! This is just a few things that I observed.(Please see the photos that Ive posted)
I love Golden Coral. Its a good price for good tasting food. Obviously its not the best quality, but I have yet to have a bad experience with the food. However the staff could definitely be friendlier. I understand it must be a tough environment, but still fake a smile for the customers.
Friendly servers and good food. Since covid they put in the hand sanitizing station which is something that should have been done before covid.
Best buffet in the USA. Kids approved, cheap easy meal when you dont want to cook. Food is good, selection is decent. Turn around if its packed, the entire experience downgrades quickly. Oh and they try to hard to have an upscale menu on weekends, and slack on the regulars. Not many want the spicy shrimp or prime rib. Keep the basics fresh and steaks ready instead.
The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. It was very busy when I visited but that didnt change the quality of service I received. Because of the fast pace atmosphere of the restaurant I could see concerns for children, elderly, or people that need to move a little slower.
The food was great, mostly all fresh, except the sesame chicken (it was too hard and dry for my taste). I love that 3yrs and under are free because my kid only eats the buns. And the manager, thankfully, took my expired coupon for my birthday. There were a lot of workers there but it seemed like the ones running the steak and ice cream kept disappearing, the ice cream lady actually said to me Im not in a hurry if youre not...I wasnt at the moment but my dad didnt want to wait for his so he just got vanilla from the machine. The bathrooms are always disgusting when I go, do they ever clean them?? At least provide us with toilet seat covers so I dont have to sit on whatever is on all the seats, literally every toilet had something on it :( Very disappointed, but seeing as I had a coupon it was worth the price. We only go once a year for a reason.
Just a little disappointed.. No breakfast, only on weekends. Soup was old and sour tasting, might have been spoiled. No burgers for lunch like menu stated.
It was by far the worst dinner I have ever got here they was either about out of some of the food or some of it looked like the leftovers from several trays all mixed together some food was burned and to get a piece of steak was like trying to get a million dollars and when i did get some it was so small you had to go back 5 or 6 times just to be able to enjoy the taste. So after all my years of eating with this company im not sure i want to come back.
Every Sunday my family heads to GC for breakfast before church. The folks are sweet, always know us and say hi, and the restaurant is clean. The food is cooked before you most of the time & they always have desert out!
Great food, a little pricey to suit me, never leave there hungry.
Its Nov 14 and its 11:00 am it say on the map that it opens up at 11:00 am so when I called to verify if they severing breakfast she said breakfast over with it was from 9:30 to 11:00 so disappointed.
I love this place. Whenever I ask my grandkids where they would like to eat out its always Golden Corral. Its one of our favorite places to eat. First because the food is always good. Real good and always fresh. Theres a nice selection or variety of food to choose from.We know that when we eat out at Golden Corral, everyone gets to eat what they want and go back for more or for something else. You cant beat the prices. Refills on drinks and food. The deserts are real good too. Thinking about the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce is making my mouth water just typing about it.The customer service is always friendly and courteous.
All I can say what is this location was absolutely amazing! It was very clean and had a great variety of food. I had took my dad here for his birthday and he even agreed this was the best Golden Corral in Ohio!The staff is super friendly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone :)
This is one of the busiest Golden Corral restaurants I have visited, and that seems to be the case whenever I go. Theyre even busy at off hours. As far as food goes, this is a normal Golden Corral. But for what you are paying for you can eat all you like. That makes it taste better, right? I love their pot roast, and you cant go wrong with a chocolate fountain.

Boogerey kids, & boogerey adults... its to big of a buffet to really prevent that- its really just a tick of mine I guess. My family loves the place every birthday thats where we gather. The food is very well prepped & well stocked- staff is so friendly and out going. I gotta say if it wasnt for the delightful staff this rating would be 1 star.
Food wave below par. Meatloaf was salty. Fried chicken was dry. Had the 699 ultimate lunch. Cost me and my wife almost 18.00. ?? Looked at bill and they even charged my wife for water. I think it was 2.59 or something like that. Waitress took receipt when I told her and never got it back.Had the mash and they were gritty. Almost like they didnt rinse them before cooking. Not sure if I will take family back here.
Not overly crowded for a holiday weekend. Our waitress very friendly and manager on duty was on top of his game. Friendly to customers meanwhile making sure staff is getting the jobs done right ( Saw him pull dirty dishes from the clean stacks to be rewashed.) Good job sir!!
Sometimes dirty dishes are stacked up and not cleaned off tables. Dirty floors, food spilled on carpet & it looks messy. The set up reminds me of a cafeteria. Would be more inviting if it were set up as a nice large dining room. Some of the food is bland with very little taste such as the cabbage, green beans, & cauliflower. Also, with the fried chicken its hard to find smaller pieces such as wings & legs.
Pretty standard on food expectations, no real complaints on that. However, they have signs posted saying, kids under 10 must be supervised, no running or horsing around, but literally no one enforces this policy. I swear theres more kids here running around than at Chuck E Cheese. Also, because of the location, the other patrons are insanely rude and obnoxious.

In my opinion Not even sure where to start myself my wife and my son went here the other day very busy theyre out of a lot of food and stuff at the salad bar, most of the workers there seemed like they were aggravated let alone wanted to help you. A lot of the people there were also very rude one Young teenager cut right in between my wife and I at the salad bar no excuse me no apology. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because our waiter was very attentive filling drinks and clearing off the plates. With as busy as they are you think theyd be more attentive to refilling all the food and trays. And at 15 bucks a person for an adult dinner with a couple drinks 3 people was $50. If you go here be ready for rude workers who just dont seem to care or maybe it was just a bad day. My family and I will not return., out of all the food they had pulled pork was decent.

Reasonable, and for the most part - reliable... HOWEVER - this place attracts some UNIQUE characters. I do love the people of Walmart, but pretty sure they all come here after shopping. The staff works hard - the slobs do too - making a mess and forgetting their manners (benefit of the doubt, suggesting they once had them)... When I watch a worker follow a UNIQUE character and clean the trail (mess) they leave - I make sure I throw a couple bucks MORE than norm in the tip - they earn it.
The food is bland no flavor. I go once a year for a celebration and am never satisfied. Our waiter wasnt very attentive either. We had a party of about 12 and had to call him over for drinks and to remove plates.

This is the first time in a REALLY long time that I have gone out to eat and I havent tipped the server. The food was fresh and tasted great, but the service was pretty awful. I had to go back up and ask for silverware after wed been at our table for 20 minutes, because our server was at every table but ours. He didnt come to our table until wed been there for over 30 minutes, and it was just to clear our plates, he didnt introduce himself, ask if we needed anything, or even just say hi. I tried to ask him for a high chair, but he never came back to our table, so I just went and got one myself. The last time he cleared our plates, he said thanks for coming in and walked away as my daughter was trying to hand him the fork that had fallen off of a plate. He completely ignored us, but was really friendly with almost every other table in our section. Im disappointed, and didnt leave a tip because of it.
Late to Golden Corral party and now I wish I never showed up. Expensive considering the limited choices offered for the buffet. There were no bowls available during my visit. Many of the dishes were NOT what was labeled above. The staff was all kind and friendly. The inside of the building looked a bit dated and run down. Not AT ALL what I was expecting based on what Ive heard about Golden Corral. I will not be coming back.

It was okay. Whilst i was there i saw an unattended child grab food with their hands instead of using the tools to properly get the food on his plate of course the child was stoped and the parent took him back to his seat after all that they did not replace the food item the kid had put his hands in. Reasoning behind not replacing the food the bowl is not empty sir after that i lost my appetite payed for my food and left but before that happened the food that i did have like the rolls, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and pizza was great. I also wouldnt recommend the steak they under cooked my friends steak twice. So it was okay
Not very good the waitress was rude i couldnt get my salad or baked potato and butter no one was at the salad bar 3 no no 4 times so id went to the desert bar and these people that work here act like they dont wanna wait on you it was a aweful experience tonight and then it was 7:54 and the desert bar wad NOT PUTTING NO MORW FOOD OUT SO WE ASKED FOR 2 MORE ROLLS AND THEY DIDNT HAVE no more SO ID LIKE A MEAL FOR 2 WITH DRINKS WE DIDNT GET A REFILL ON DRINKS
I always had a great meal there. Very nice people.

2022-07-12Food was OK. Our server Al was fantastic! What I seen happen there was shocking. There was a lady with a tiny dog at the buffett getting her food with the dog with its face in her plate! I just cant believe this was allowed. The dog was NOT a service dog. There were customers expressing concern but apparently the staff did not care. There has to be some health safety violations about this!

2022-04-05I was a little disappointed in the buffet. There werent near as many options on it as there were before. I understand the chocolate fountain going away, but there were several pains that were empty when all of them use to have something in them. The quality of the food was still good and the staff was mostly friendly. I would definitely go again though.

2022-05-28Daughter had a happy and full belly when we left.I; on the other hand, got there and couldnt eat. My belly rolled when we were at IHOP moments before...I took a sip of my coffee then found lipstick on my cup---Im not wearing any!I didnt know that Golden Corral had carry out...I was only able to manage 3 bites--- the manager allowed me to carry out. That was so nice and she could have said no, but for as busy as she was; she was so sweet and kind.The food was yummy, even her steak was delicious and that girl is picky. ;)We shall return!!

2022-03-26I was very disappointed in the service that Golden Corral to start off A overcharged us so we requested the refund and then they werent putting out any fresh food stuff was old and yucky and they wouldnt do anything about it they said theyd already accommodated us once. Which was their mistake to start with. They were very nasty about the whole situation and I will not go back there. If you dont get there at least 2 and a 1/2 hours Before theyre going to close at 8 oclock dont expect anything worth eating
