The food is fabulous!! Gitta gives a great gourmet twist to lunchtime deli sandwiches. And her catering is creative and delicious. Family and friends are still raving about the graduation party catered by Gittas Table and Wine Shop. She is professional, timely, very thoughtful about every aspect of the event, and excellent in food preparation. Love working with her on events and always excited to stop by during the week for lunch!
Absolutely LOVE Gittas!!! Where else can you grab a quick amazing homemade sandwich for lunch and a bottle of reasonably priced GOOD wine for dinner?! Gittas - thats where! Fantastic food - super friendly staff and adorably quaint premises! Highly recommend!
Pure love for Gittas table! Sandwich creations are truly amazing, unique and well thought out. Soups are out of this world. Cookies, muffins, quiche, they do it right! Yummy selection of wines. Beautiful atmosphere. Love love love.
I was super excited to have a sweet little sandwich shop here in Avon Lake. Sad to say it failed my high expectations. While it is adorable and quaint inside and displays a very nice patio outside, my sandwich was a disappointment. I ordered a Cuban sandwich with chicken. I really wish the chicken was freshly cooked, or roasted or something other than defrosted from a food service company. It reminded me of the gross rib meat chicken strip that are served at Subway. Gross and more gross. Hopefully Gittas Table might reconsider where they purchase their chicken from.

If you have not visited this gem, it is an absolute must. Delicious food, interesting selection of curated wine and beer that you may not find anywhere else. At the least stop and grab a sandwich or a corn and crab dip.

I went into Gittas Table for the first time last night and I purchased pasta salad for my husband that he loved!!! I also got my son a big chocolate who is a huge cookie critic and hes asked if there was another one in the bag (lol) Gitta you have a cookie loving critic that gives a big thumbs up! I also grabbed the Corn Chowder cheese dip and took it to a baby shower last night and the ladies of the church loved it too! They were all asking where I got it and I told them my new place Gittas Table which is located off Lake Road near Jake on the Lake. Ill give great raves when they are earned. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality you have to check her out next time your on Lake Road. I give her 5 stars and my son gives her a thumbs up!
I went to lunch recently and it was delicious. The pricing was reasonable too. If they have the Basil Pasta salad get it. YUM. Also, Gitta catered a lunch for 60 and it was great. This long time AL location will hopefully be Gittas Table for a long time. The catering would be perfect for a graduation party. This place is a MUST try.

2022-03-27I was fortunate enough to come upon Gittas as it opened right up the street from my sister. Once I started going there and then bringing my family, it’s how a destination and often tell friends they must check out the wine tastings and amazing sandwiches. Not to mention the great selection of wine and beer and cheeses.

2021-08-28The wine slushies are very delicious. This is not one of my favorite places. I cant really explain why. I feel for them, with the difficulties of keeping a small business open, but Ive just never warmed to it.

2021-04-06Lovely. That’s definitely the word for this place. Recently moved nearby and had to try this place. Great alternative to a corporate sandwich shop or fast food. My sandwich was delicious and BIG especially for the price. I’ve always been a fan of the “mom&pop” type eateries and this is definitely one I will be returning to A LOT. I got The Bellie and it was sooooo good. Took my sandwich to the park and ate by the lake. I mean come on, it couldn’t have made my day any better.

2021-09-02I would gives 0 stars if I could. Overheard the owner talking down to an employee, it was very uncalled for. Also theres a botfly infestation around the patio outside, not a safe place to enjoy a glass of wine.

2015-11-22The food here is so high quality! I love the GT salad with chicken. I also added the delicious marinated mushrooms and avocado my husband didnt want on his sandwich! Made a great salad for me! Weve also tried the muffins, which are freshly made and excellent. Nice wine selection too. Cant wait to try many other things.
