As of 6/14/21, the demeanor of one of the staff members was entirely unacceptable for someone working in customer service. She displayed a candid annoyance after I asked if she received my mobile order. Apparently one shouldnt come here with an expectation for friendly service.
Tastes great but I have yet to order online and not get an incorrect order. I’m really amazed how they manage to screw up my order every single time. This was easily the 7th or 8th time in a row they forgot multiple things to add to my custom bowl and I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.Update 3 months later: we gave them another shot today. Guess what, they forgot the sauces again...
Place has been better last few times... the rolls are still occasionally still mangled, but less often........I like this place (sometimes) and still eat here (but less often). Im tired of the roll looking like they cut it with a chain saw and it ends up being more like a sushi salad thats a pain to eat. Im still baffled how theyll plate roll that is clearly a mess and then serve it to you like its no big deal. I sent a note to them once and they responded with a free roll and said theyd work on it, which was nice, but I havent seen an improvement and Id prefer a consistent place to eat that doesnt frustrate me half the time.
Im hit or miss on this chain, because I think the quality is great, but the portion size for the price isnt so impressive, however this location at least has really clean, very courteous staff, and with the new sushi bowls you actually get plenty of food for the cost. Not sure I would do roll here, but its worth it to stop and for a custom bowl definitely better than the competitors.
Placed order online at 7:47 and was told order would be ready for pick-up at 8:07. Arrived to store around 8:00 pm and was told they were out of white rice and it would be another 15 minutes and agreed to wait. At 8:32 I am still sitting here waiting for my order. I think it is really strange for a sushi restaurant to run out of white rice. As much as I like to customize my sushi and previously enjoyed the food, I will not be coming back given this experience.
Make no mistake about it, Im not bashing Fusian at all. Its great. I just have a thing of giving a review that doesnt need improvements. Even at a 5 star rating there always has to be an improvement somewhere, somehow. There is no such thing as perfection, but there is a such thing as continue to strive for perfection! Thats what keeps customers like me coming back, what was different from last visit!
One of my favorite sushi places in Cincinnati! I found out about this place when my son was in the NICU at children’s and they had it in the cafeteria. I went by their location a week later and I’ve been hooked ever since! We even had rolls from there on his first birthday. If I don’t feel like going out to pick it up they offer DoorDash which I love!
I dont think Ive ever seen an upset employee here, because Ive been so focused on their crazy fresh ingredients! Their PB&J rolls SOUND like a good idea only, only to the ear, not mouth, or colon probably3. Their sushi rolls are the only Grade A thing (aka their main business), but their side game is mediocre

Great customer service. I am very picking when it’s comes to my steak having fat on it. The young lady and gentlemen that worked Saturday July 6th between 2pm or 3pm. Was so patient with me. I wish I got her and the gentleman name. Both worked great as a team. I will be back just because customer service was a WOW factor.
The sushi has always been good, and I love the customization of it. And they have options for those who dont like seaweed or fish, which I havent tried but is a nice touch. Also they have delicious cucumber water that goes perfectly with sushi! Well they did until they switched to house made beverages such as gingerade and lavender lemonade and others that are interesting but not as good to me.
Super friendly right when you walk in.I want to give them 5 stars but there is always one thing that stops me; either there is something out of stock (which i assume is because they are always so busy), or the fancy roll cutter is not working properly and my roll gets all messed up.food always taste great and they sometime have given me a discount cause of wait time.
Just ordered on Doordash, my salad was two days old and my Ginger salad dressing was spoiled! Complete waste of my time and money and when I tried to call to report it the line was forever busy! Went back to the store today and they were great about replacing the meal and assured me that it would not happen again! 5 Stars
There is a soy wrapper option besides the usual seaweed, brown or white rice, tofu as well as sashimi (raw fish). I got their sweet soy sauce for dipping my tofu sushi. The servings are generous. Service great. I live nearby and it is all I can do to keep from going every day!
Well there was nothing terribly wrong with the meal that I purchased. And as a corporate entity they are keen on offering only healthy options which I applaud. However the morning only time that Ive been there I asked some simple questions like what I have as a pop. And when the answer is no and as I was referred to you I didnt ask if I could have some sugar, or some artificial sweetener, and the look and the attitude and the explanation that I received from the workers both on the top and on the sugar was unacceptable to me and rude and snotty and you only want to offer healthy options and you find sugar to be unhealthy thats great but I will not be eating at your restaurant again because of your attitude not because you dont sell or serve sugar
This is a waste of money. People where great very friendly. I ordered three different rolls and thet looked great. I got home and started eating and they where very dry. I couk2d tell things where not fresh. I will not be returning, if yoy want sushi just pay a little extra and go to a real sushi bar or resturant. I learned the hard way.
I will never go back to a Fusion restaurant. The girl with short hair and a ball cap working the counter refused me in-restaurant service even after I preseneted my physicians note exempting me from wearing a face mask.She tried to tell me to wait outside, order online, etc. So I was supposed to sit outside in the heat, not enjoy the A/C, not be able to refill my drink, etc?I showed her a copy of Ohio State Law explicitly exempting those with medical conditions from wearing face masks. I also showed her Governor Dewines order, again complete with exemption. She refused to follow the law as written so I took my business to your competitors right across the street and they welcomed me. Corporate needs to educate employees on the actual state law regarding mask exemptions.
Ordered at this Fusian location for myself and some coworkers to celebrate one of our coworkers last day of work on 6/26/2020. As a joke, I labeled my coworkers dish who is leaving as The Saddest Day In History. The workers at Hyde Park were nice enough to put a gift in the bag for us! I went to FUSIAN at 9:50 at night, knowing that they were closing, but not only was I welcomed with a wonderful greeting, they were more than adamant with serving me and taking care of my needs. Finn, I believe that’s his name, really went above and beyond with my needs.Not only did I feel bad for coming so late, I had a hard time choosing what I wanted.Again, without hesitation, Finn was there helping me choose what I wanted. Also, there was a girl name Cynthia, and she just helped make the experience even more of a joy!I will purposely come back to this location because of the wonderful service, how fast they are, and how they really focus on the customers needs. Out of all the Fusion locations, this is by far the best one!Definitely come by and see Finn, he is a true reflection of what customer service should be at Fusion, same for the team!
I like the concept of this restaurant a lot and have eaten here several times. A little more attention to detail and cleanliness would easily move this to north of four stars. I felt compelled to give a less than glowing review today because the condition of some of the food items, such as the carrots, was on acceptable...badly discolored and very dried out. I would also strongly suggest that the owner of this establishment find a way to anchor the piece of equipment that is used to cut the rolls into individual pieces. It is obvious to anyone observing that this device is difficult to operate with it bouncing around on the counter. It would be relatively easy to modify the base, maybe with an attach/release suction cup type of mount, so that it could be anchored when in use, then easily removed for cleaning. I have had a couple of rolls in the past that were somewhat mangled because of this issue. In the end, I would eat here much more frequently if the appropriate level attention was given to these type of details.
I heard outside a dispute between a manager and an employee about 2 weeks ago . The manager accused an employee of not being open minded about the lgbtq community. The employee isnt like that. I am apart of the community and he is always asking how I am doing and I tell him a bit of what goes on. He has helped me just by asking me about my day , not just by customer service. I wish I knew his name , but that manager needs a talking to. She needs an attitude adjustment. He is only human and as humans we make mistakes . Whatever happened I was not happy hearing outside . That should of been taken in an office not where I could hear it . She was so unprofessional.
I had a terrible experience this evening, an employee was disrespectful and I felt like he was attacking me.... He didn’t do a good job at cutting or rolling both of my sushi rolls they were falling apart and when I asked for the manager to make my rolls for me he threw the messed up sushi on the wall by the trash can..... I visit this location once a week and have never seen someone react so ignorant.....After the manager cut my sushi the other employee proceeded to talk about how his rolling is compared to the manager making comments and trying to argue...the manager repeatedly told him to stop while there were others in line behind me... I’ve never been so mad about sushi I definitely will not go back to this location if I have to put up with an employees bad attitude I’m in the food business I’ve never argued or disrespected a customer!!!!!
I do not know about the place itself but I would never recommend to order delivery at this place, the restaurant staff was super rude on the phone when I called to change my order, ended up hanging up. Then the food was delivered in a very messy way by a rude courier. Highly disappointing,
The worse experience ever the braised steak was more like burnt the hell up the shift manager she was rude because I asked for new steak she had an attitude then the black guy with the dreads his attitude was horrible and no customer service , the best person there was Nate he was cool the

2022-07-21Oh, it was amazing! Beautiful and calming atmosphere, along with really cool and friendly staff. They were kind, we shared a few laughs while they made my order and they were accommodative to our needs/wants. I will definitely be back for my other order with more family/friends!

2021-11-28The food is AWESOME 👏🏻! The customer service is not spectacular, but every time I go there it makes my day feel 1,000,000 times better! I would say this is the best restaurant ever!
