We love the Front Porch Cafe! They have gluten free options (like gluten free bread) which is a bit tricky to find in the Hartville area. They have such a calm and relaxing environment, with great outdoor space! The food is reasonably priced and so good, and the same for the coffee drinks. We love coming back every time we visit the Hartville Flea Market and Thrift Store
This is a must try!!! Under new management and it’s family owned and operated. Food was bursting with flavor and prices were good. Well decorated, comfortable and has a very nice outdoor patio plus the staff and owners were super friendly. We will for sure find any excuse to stop in again any time in Hartville. I would give it a 10 star if it was an option.
I got to be honest I didnt go in there for coffee its attached to Hartville thrift store which is right next door to it theyre attached side-by-side but Im sure its a really good place to stop in if you want to get some coffee but for me I didnt go in there but it looks like it would be interesting place to go
My absolute favorite spot for work, conversation, or just because. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Nikki and Erin are who I know by name, but I have had great experiences with each member of the staff I have encountered. The environment is lovely, decor is homey and comfortable. The restaurant is always so clean, they have a great system of cleaning tables and using cards to indicate if tables are sanitized. Food is notably fresh every time. My favorites are the club sandwich and the Cobb salad. Baristas are always helpful when I try new drinks! Also they have the best brewed sweet tea around, I kid you not!I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I recommend it to everyone I can, and I look forward to getting work done when I go there. Hartville is lucky to have you, Front Porch Cafe!
Wow just a really neat lil place to stop by for a sandwich. Spotless clean , unbelievable hostess and servers and on top of all that …a fantastic sandwich with chips and dill pickle! Great prices and I am just really hoping to stop in again soon . Will recommend to all my family and friends
Friendly staff for sure. Nice, quiet place. We order the breakfast sandwich on croissant with ham (tasty and larger than expected) and the avocade toast (well worth the money, they put on a healthy amount of avocado!) And finally a house blend coffee which is medium roast and a solid coffee.Definitely recommended if youre in the area.
Opted into trying this spot on our way back from the Hartville Flea Market. This spot is a classic rendition of every cool weather, pseudo dark day coffee shop vibe without any spice. After twenty plus years in the hospitality industry it pains me to have an experience so subpar that visiting this location again would have to be under very special circumstances.Saturday afternoon-Upon entry: barely greeted. One couple seated in a booth. One table outside. You order at the counter in classic coffee/cafe style fashion. I ordered a cold Chai, Avocado Toast with two eggs and a half portion Margarita Pizza and waffle fries. The drink was great. We sat down on the patio & waited almost twenty minutes. My drink is done… food arrives…Margarita pizza & fries…. NO SAUCE and cold….fries, cold and rubbery.Avocado toast…eggs are cold and absolutely ZERO SEASONING on the toast or eggs. Literally just smashed avocado on dry toast topped with an egg. I don’t know where y’all have been having avocado toast but this isn’t how it’s done & it’s not why it became popular. Try adding at least some salt if not some sunflower seeds & spice…maybe some lime…If this is what post covid life has to offer as society gets back together, you can keep it. I’m sorry for the poor review but we can’t keep accepting subpar experiences as the normal. We’re disappointed that we paid for this experience.2 stars only for the nice porch.
This is part of the mission of service to the community by GentleBrook. The food is great as well as the pricing. Beautiful decor inside and out. Patio space is well spaced and nice to have a meal there.Services include breakfast and lunch. Teas and coffee. The location is great and near shopping of thrift shop and new shopping.A good space to have a casual meeting or catch up with old friends or family.Highly recommended.
This place is the only coffee shop I can find within a 30 mile radius of me that gives me all of the good vibes and aesthetic I crave! The biggest plus is they have a real food menu. Most coffee shops only sell bakery treats. I am a type 1 diabetic who follows the keto diet to help regulate my blood sugars, and this coffee shop is the only one that has food choices for me! They also make a mean cold brew, and every barista who has helped me has always been kind.
Never been in the Cafe. But tried the store once. And will never be back. My husband has emphysema and is told by his Dr not to wear a mask. One older employee harassed him about wearing it. He initially gave in had his nose covered but not fully and she still continued to bother him about wearing his mask. Will never return again. First and last time
First of all, let me say that this place is super cute! The decor and the environment are top-notch. Unfortunately, my experience with the food was very average. I had an egg salad sandwich and the salad bar. The salad bar was well stocked, and although it was mostly okay, I particularly noticed, by biting into several pieces, that the cantaloupe had begun to go bad. Although I did inform the manager, and she said she would remove it immediately, it was still on the buffet when we left. My sandwich was made on dense homemade white bread, but the bread-to-egg salad ratio was way off. The bread was thickly sliced, and the egg salad was runnier here than most Ive ever seen, and so I mostly felt like I was eating eggy bread rather than actual sandwich. It tasted all right, but it would have been so much better if the egg salad had been a little less runny and there had been less bread. Im not recommending against trying this place, especially since this was just my first experience. And to be fair, I was in the mood for Mexican and only came here because my best friend insisted. So some of my meh attitude about it might have been simply that this was not what I wanted to eat this day. So I would recommend that you try it for yourself before making a judgment, and I will maybe try it again when I am going there of my own volition.
Cute local place, great service, and good fresh food. I completely disagree with another review... I can tell you that their breakfast sandwich cannot be compared to microwave toasted sandwiches. They are so fresh that I must have one every time I make an early morning trek to Hartville Hardware.
So looking online it looked like a great little place to try. We ordered the salad bar with our lunch. They were out of iceberg salad so I went up to tell the cashier that took our order that they were out. She said ok I’ll let the girl in the back know. I stood there while she waited on 5 different customers and helped them, then she went to back , after seeing us still waiting for our salads, and cake out and said oh, when she’s done cooking all the orders , she will fill the salad. Really????? I had to wait for them to take care of everyone after my family?????? So then our food was delivered to our table, we are still standing and waiting for salad and the cook delivers food to other customers then cones up to tell us, I’m sorry we have no more lettuce, maybe on tomorrow s truck??????? After I stood there for 15 minutes waiting???????? I have never had such poor service in my life and will NEVER go back! They obviously do not put their customers first, and/or take care of others before the ones that ordered first!!! Needless to say that our lunch was almost cold from waiting on a Sana’a bar that we finally find out, oh we don’t have any??? What kind of service is that????? Not friendly cashier either, when she stood there looking at us , knowing we were waiting on lettuce and all she did was keep assisting other customers before she even went to the back to tell the girl that we needed lettuce. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We were there around 2-3 pm on Monday July 8, so there’s your happy servers.
Excellent atmosphere and excellent coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly upon my visit, and the coffee was both hot and fresh. Prices are a bit on the high side overall, but given the location of this establishment, as well as its style and the customers it caters to, this isnt a major complaint. Will definitely be coming back.
FINALLY Hartville has a sweet little coffee shop thats perfect for meeting up with friends or studying after school. However, the staff is not very knowledgeable about coffee at all. They tried to tell me that a latte and a cappuccino are the same thing...theyve also gotten my orders wrong in the past multiple times. I keep going because of convenience and it had a great atmosphere!
I love to go here, Friendly and wonderful staff, I have a Bible Study there every two weeks and look forward to it, great food and nice selection, go shopping next door and buy some beautiful crafts made by the kids.Or just go for a cup of coffee and some quiet time.

2022-06-03My mom tried the Guatemalan pour over, and that was definitely the highlight! I didn’t love the flavor of the espresso in my cortado. Still enjoyed trying this local spot

2022-06-04A really cute breakfast, lunch, and coffee spot in Hartville. We came for lunch and had a flatbread pizza, a bbq chicken sandwich, chili, and frozen lemonade. They were able to put the sandwich on gluten-free bread for me and told me they also had gluten-free pizza crust. Everything was great. I would come back.

2021-11-30We started with two huge muffins one raspberry and one dolce the leche both full of flavor and moist. Then my fiancé had the tomato basil flatbread pizza, chili and an iced tea, I had the garden flatbread pizza and a caramel macchiato. We would definitely recommend this place, excellent customer service, clean and pleasant environment and delicious food and drinks!

2022-03-08Great atmosphere and friendly staff but seriously, if youre going to slap two chicken fingers on a waffle and call it chicken and waffles then at least make them decent chicken fingers. That was a huge disappointment.

2021-06-18Quaint little spot in the heart, on the strip in Hartville. You can order at the counter and take a table inside or outside. Helpful service and plenty of smiles. The atmosphere is laid back. Afterwards take in the areas other stores.

2022-04-29The front porch used to be a decent place with a good environment and food, but average coffee. It wasnt worth my time, but the change in ownership and commitment to coffee makes it a must visit if youre in hartville.

2020-11-21My wife and I came here for the Stark County coffee crawl, and Im glad we came out to Hartville for it. The food was great, the bonfire mocha was wonderful, and they were such a friendly group working there. Also everyone was wearing masks and I saw them cleaning and sanitizing tables very quickly between customers.
