The lady at the desk was very nice she tried to get me to upgrade to a king room. I explained I had my daughter and mother with me so that wouldn’t work. She then told me her manager asked her to upgrade the rooms because there was no clean queen double beds. I understood but I asked why wasn’t I notified in advance seeing as I’m not from the area I didn’t have many choices. She reached out to her boss and he stated someone was coming to clean the rooms I waited a hour and thirty minutes before I had a room. While waiting my daughter had an accident on herself because she had no bathroom to use. I couldn’t leave the hotel because she had to be changed . we finally made it to our room and I had to go get food; Since we missed our dinner reservations. we couldn’t get into anything at Easton until midnight. I have a four year old of course she fell asleep while waiting. Before leaving I asked for a mini fridge . I was told when I came back it would be in the room. Upon arriving back to the room it was a new gentleman who was very nice. I came down and explained the fridge situation he stated. The previous worker had to figure out rooms because they weren’t clean and customers were becoming angry with her. He stated to give him a hour and it would be there. I never received the fridge.the next day the elderly lady who checked me in apologized and stated she was trying to keep everything running smoothly she never got the fridge to my room. The hotel staff is the reason I give this a four star they were very friendly and were doing what they could to help keep everybody happy. I do fault the hotel because a simple phone call before driving 3 hours away could have prevented a lot. I would have understood and been grateful. Many of places are short staffed right now it’s understandable. What I didn’t not understand is why my daughter couldn’t use a bathroom when we reserved a room in advance. I didn’t understand why managers didn’t come in to ensure things were being ran smoothly. Also when we got to our rooms there was no tissue or towels. And there was no available staff to bring the items I had to go get my own tissue and towels from the front desk because the rooms wasn’t stocked.
Nice and clean. Room was comfortable and cozy. The bed was nice and we slept well. I liked the coffee and tea in the room and the shower was great, nice and big. Soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers provided. The front desk staff seemed very friendly and accommodating. Quiet in the halls and we didnt hear too much noise from the airport nearby.Overall we are pleased and will most likely choose this hotel in future
Our stay at the Four Points Sheraton was wonderful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well appointed. Coffee and tea service in room. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Bed was really comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice blankets. The hotel was quiet which made our stay that much better. The only thing we were disappointed about was the restaurant and bar are both closed. We ordered in pizza, which was fine but the restaurant would have been better!!
Did not seem up to par to have a Marriott name, but beds were comfortable. Huge stains on carpet, bottom of bed linens. Pool was closed but it was to late for us to swim anyway. We only stayed one night before an early morning flight. Got the job done but far from special.
We stayed here for 5 days in October to attend an event being held at the expo center. After a long travel day, we checked into our room. I was very surprised to find clothing in our room. A pile of it including men’s construction type boots. It made me question whether the room was even cleaned. This wasn’t something you could miss. I wasn’t surprised when told that there weren’t any other rooms to switch us to. I expected that given the event that was happening at the time in columbus. What I was surprised at was that no one wanted to come and cleanup the clothing. I was told that there was no housekeeping service on the weekends. No where did it state that when I booked this hotel. With covid and bed bugs, I didn’t feel comfortable touching someone else’s clothing. Couldn’t sleep at all because I was wondering if maybe someone was coming back? If they may have given us the wrong room. Needless to say it was the longest 5 days and couldn’t wait to leave. My husband put the clothes in a pillow case using a towel and set them out in the hall. They stayed there for days. We packed up on our final day and I asked my daughter to check under the beds to be sure we didn’t forget anything. To her surprise , there were even more clothes.Terrible experience and would not recommend this hotel. Surprised it has Marriott attached to it.
Very Disappointed. However, staff very friendly. Room was not Cleaned properly, At all! You could tell it was a very quick turnover. Flooring in Rr waas badly cracked. No washcloths. No Sanitizer in any of the Dispensers. Wrong size lids for cups. Breakfast in Bag. Oranges were bad. Beds very uncomfortable. Poor pillows. Need 4 at least to make one comfortable pillow. All Fixable issues. But definitely not the Sheraton Class that we are accustom to.
Thank you very much to a tremendous staff. Friendly shuttle was very prompt to pick me up at the airport. I arrived a little early and the wonderful young lady working the front desk got me in a room quicklyThank you all for excellent services and making me feel important
If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere else, do so.Poor upkeep.HVAC unit barely worked wouldn’t run throughout the night and wouldn’t stay even near the temperature you put into it.The toilet paper rack was literally on the ground when we walked into the bathroom. They didn’t advertise the fact that their bar and breakfast option was closed, found that out when we got there, then they explained that they have complimentary items behind the counter. So wait covid exists so you can’t do the bar or breakfast, I get that, but then you force me to have interactions with people to attempt to get complimentary food. Does that make sense? No.The bed…. Was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on. Springs were very loud, even moving slightly woke up my wife. There were stains on the sheets as well.If you have the opportunity, stay elsewhere.
Upon checking in with a 2 room reservation, the agent could not figure out how to split the rooms onto separate credit cards. Then when he said “talk to a manager later in the evening” and checked my boss into his room, turns out it was occupied! Way to make a great impression with my boss….
Found bed bugs on my bed, no microwave,or fridge in any of the rooms. When transferred to the second room other sheet were not cleaned and we were refused sheets the first time we asked for them. After the manager came up to “inspect the dirty sheets” he was very rude to me and my friend. The lady at the front desk told me to watch what I was saying in the lobby even though I was only mentioning the truth about bed bugs in my room. Would never stay here again.
The hotel was clean but had very little to offer. I chose this hotel because of the free shuttle to the airport. When I went to book the shuttle for 5am to take a 7am flight, I was told the shuttle was not operating until 7am. Also there was coffee in the lobby only 1 day of my stay because I was told there wasnt anyone working that knew how to make it. I would not stay there again. I could have booked a hotel in the same area that offered food, coffee and a shuttle when I needed it.
I was recommended to stay at this hotel and to my surprise it measured low in accommodations. Met with dirty/stained bedding. Carpet in the room was filthy, spots and stains. No enforcement of the mask policy posted. With COVID numbers rising in that area, attendants did not care people were in the lobby not social distancing and unmasked. Breakfast grab bags sucked to be this kinda establishment.
Regardless of what you are told on the phone, your rate does not include long term parking! We had an early morning flight and thought we could stay at a hotel which included parking anyway, and not spend much more than if we arrived in the morning and paid for airport parking. There were many options and this seemed like a good deal. We called the hotel directly to book. We were quoted a reasonable rate and confirmed several times that parking for 8 nights was included. We arrived at the hotel only to learn that parking was not included and that it had to be booked independently online through a third party vendor, despite the fact that we were parking in the hotels lot. We were offered no explanation, or even an apology, for being told something entirely different on the phone.Making things worse, the hotel front desk offered no assistance whatsoever in making the parking reservation in their own lot. We had to figure this out and do it online ourselves. Thirty minutes later, and at a cost similar to on airport parking, we had secured our parking spot. What was supposed to be a relaxing start to our vacation ended up being a frustrating ordeal. Also, the airport shuttle doesnt start running until 7am, so be sure to budget an extra $20 for an Uber if you have an early flight. The hotel was fine as far as comfort and cleanliness, but all this completely defeated the purpose of our stay. There are hotels that actually include parking near the airport. If that is the point of your stay, definitely avoid this hotel.
It got one star bc I cant give anything lower. We arrived after midnight, we were tired. I was very thirsty I asked about water in the room when I arrived. The front desk host said there were 2 bottles of water in the room. There were not.. when I called to get the other bottle I was told I had to come pick it up from the front desk.My friends bed was fine. My bed had NO fitted sheet on it. It was just a bare mattress with a thin flat sheet under the comforter. I called the front desk again let them know I have no fitted sheet. She says she need to check to see if they have any clean sheets for my bed. AND I have to come get it. Keep in mind Im already dressed for bed after a long late flight. I have to get dressed to see if they have any fitted sheets. When I arrive to the desk she still has to go check for the sheets. She come back to inform me they only have King fitted sheets and nothing for my queen size bed. She hands them to me which means I now have to go strip and make up my own bed.The room was dusty and dirty. It was clear no one had dusted or cleane many areas in quite some time. Photos attachedWhen I pay to stay in a hotel the expectation is that I dont have to make up my one bed. Included in the night stay should be clean bedding and room. The thin flat sheet that was on the bed was not clean. (It is hard to make that out in th photos.) If a clean room and clean bedding is not possible I should NOT have to fix those things for myself. We were in town for a few hours for a funeral. If I had to stay any longer would have never stayed there.
No breakfast, even though it states on website they do. I asked about getting a juice one morning and the manager directed me to a cooler, where cold drinks were for sale at a ridiculous price. For what I paid for a room, they could at least offer danishes and juice in the mornings. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Night shift was very helpful and friendly.
We stayed at this particular hotel on the weekend of May 7, 2021 for one reason: it offered an electric car charger. It actually has 3 Tesla charging stations and one charging station for other electric vehicles. However, when we returned to our room after a busy day in Columbus, we found a combustion engine car parked in the charging slot. We approached the manager about this problem and he told us that he was parked in that spot! He said he likes to park close to the building when working the night shift. This was unacceptable behavior of a hotel manager - especially for a hotel that offers itself as a electric friendly and above average facility. Additionally, the office chair in the room was so old that the fake leather was more than halfway peeled off, and if you sat on it, the flakes of material would stick to our clothes. The room itself was quite dusty: we could leave visible fingerprints in it. The hotel offered a breakfast to go when we checked in. Our preference of a breakfast sandwich was taken by the receptionist. Yet, in the morning when we asked for it, no such breakfast was ready. We were told to wait and 2 would be made up for us. Our preference was taken again, but this time there was no breakfast sandwich, only a choice of 3 muffins. After nearly a 15 minute wait, we took the brown bag breakfast to the car where we discovered that we did not get either of the muffins we selected. Im afraid we will not be staying there again, despite its electric friendliness and despite the fact that I am an elite member of the hotel loyalty program!
Check-in: Went very smoothly. Found out the restaurant wasnt open (wasnt stated anywhere else when booking). Was overcharged, and come to find out they charge you a temporary 1-time $50 fee. SURPRISE!Room: Very clean. Comfortable beds. Big spacious glass shower (unique). The trash cans didnt have liners in them (odd) and we didnt have bars of soap (had to request them). No fridge (I guess I didnt notice on the booking site-odd). Cordless phone (interesting). Barn type sliding door for the bathroom didnt latch - so it just stayed partly open.Outlets for phones were below the bed, not higher up on the wall or even in fixtures as some hotels have them. The computer chair was the MOST uncomfortable chair Ive seen in a hotel period. Thats a pretty big statement.Check-out: Just dropped our cards in the fishbowl. No hassle.Overall I felt the hotel was very nice but at the same time very weird. Side note: The hotel has charged me about 5 times now and am waiting on a refund. It was a MESS!
For the price, you’d expect the room to at least have a refrigerator in it.A brown bag, cold breakfast? What is this - a sleep over at day camp?!?There was a huge family there having a reunion or something and the lobby had kids running around unsupervised…. You’d think that since it was happening right in front of the front desk they would have said something to the parents, but apparently not.I won’t be staying here again.
Front lobby has an overwhelming perfume smell.Room had no room service over the weekend. We, like others had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. When we checked into our room, it was missing the full set of towels on the first day. Others were complaining about no room service also.
My fiancé and I always stay at this location as it it around the corner from my mothers house. I was told 15 minutes ahead of time that there was a king room available and when I got there I was told that it was not available. There there were only two full beds. There was not body wash in the rooms end no towels. I was then charged a completely different rice than what I was told. I need a refund.
Was an okay stay. You’d think in 2021 that a standard hotel room includes a microwave and fridge? Nah. Internet was painfully slow, was 100% useless. There’s about 15 channels to choose from on the tv, hope you downloaded some Netflix episodes if you want to watch anything.
Booked the park here, fly there option from Marriott website. Upon arrival, was told that the shuttle doesnt start running to the airport until 8a due to staffing shortage. Flight left at 8a. Was told to take an Uber or taxi to the airport. Upon return, nobody answered the phone at the hotel. Tried calling three times over a 10m span and nobody answered. Uberd back to the hotel. Chatted with the guest services lady who informed me she was busy and unable to answer the phone and there by herself, then told me as a Gold Elite member, the hotel would arrange for a Lyft or reimbursement of if their shuttle is not running. Good to know after Ive spent $60 in roundtrip Ubers to the airport and back.
Stayed in the double queen bed room. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space. I didnt expect any special given the current amenities so I was pleased overall. Only strange thing was the bathroom door was a sliding door that did not actually close, but slide past the hole in the wall considered a doorway. Overall a nice experience
Was the absolutley most disgusting hotel Ive ever stayed at. Throwup on the reclining chair, room was never properly serviced, and during times like these this is just absurd. And when I asked for a refund they offered me points. I will never stay at another marriot nor will my company. Just a disgrace
It was honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Horrible advertisement of things that are not available at the hotel. Pool not opened, no restaurant open, no breakfast, nothing. Only one towel in the bathroom for our room that was for 3 people. No mini fridge, no microwave. Stained carpets. Thin walls.
We was there for a teenage soccer tournament. This was the worst place we have ever been. Pool closed, lounge closed but still have signs to advertise their draft beer choices. No type of breakfast at all, not even a coffee bar. All this was figured out just after getting room cards. Then get to the room. WOW. Stained up carpet, no microwave, no mini fridge. What hotel doesn’t have these???Let’s just say VERY THIN walls. I’ll leave that there. No security. Next room playing music pretty loudly after 10pm. Called the desk multiple times and nothing done.Next night, kids running up and down the halls after midnight. Yes, parents control your kids BUT where is the staff to put a stop to it.Only reason for giving two stars was due to the most amazing bed ever.At the end of the day, we chose here because the name is a good name. We could have got a $40 night motel and had better amenities.
Regardless of what you are told on the phone, your rate does not include parking! We initially tried to book this hotel online but could not book a park-and-fly package and use our AAA member discount on the Marriott website. Because of this, we called the hotel to book. We were quoted a reasonable rate and confirmed several times with the person on the phone that parking for 8 nights was included. We arrived at the hotel only to learn that parking was not included and that it had to be booked independently online through a third party vendor, despite the fact that we were parking in the hotels lot. We were offered no explanation or apology for being told something entirely different on the phone, and the hotel was not able to assist with making the parking reservation. Thirty minutes and $36 dollars later, we had secured our parking spot. What was supposed to be a relaxing start to our vacation ended up being a stressful and frustrating ordeal. Also, the airport shuttle only runs from 7am to 9pm, so be sure to budget at least an extra $15 for an Uber if you have an early morning flight or late night flight.
We checked in on Friday and stayed until Sunday. The exterior of the hotel was beautiful. The lobby was clean and well kept. We watched the OSU football game at the bar. The bartender was great, she spoke to everyone and made a great atmosphere for all. Our room was clean and comfortable. Also, there was breakfast in the morning and the kitchen was open in the evening, but we didnt have an opportunity to try it.
Stay was awful! We checked in on a Friday , paid cash for the room , needed a credit card to place a hold , which we were told $60 . When checked our account the placed a $699.39 hold . Went back to hotel and manager refused to come in, left a new girl at front desk whom knew nothing and refund still not refunded telling us we have to wait 3 days for the refund. Not happy because this was their mistake! Then swimming pool not open or the restaurant! When reservations were made we were told all things were open
I have stayed here twice while traveling for work & found the staff very friendly & helpful! The rooms are clean & quiet, the bathrooms are updated & modern with huge showers! I do wish there were refrigerators in room, but overall my experiences here have been nothing short of exceptional.
We stayed for only one night, but it was a far superior experience to or stay at a Courtyard Marriott in a nearby city that was only very slightly cheaper. There needs were far more comfortable, a were the pillows. The showers were large, which as a large guy I always appreciate. The staff was very helpful in our needs and accommodating for our very late check-out. My only complaint would be an annoying sliding bathroom door in the room that want entirely visually protective from other individuals in the room. The location is conveniently located in regards to the airport, just two or three miles away.
Came out with some friend and got 5 rooms. Amy and Frank got everything setup and checked in quickly and effeciently, with all the rooms together. We did not need to use the shuttle or restaurant but the latter was nicely setup. The large lobby had a fireplace and seating allowing for our group to congregate and chat without feeling cramped or interfering with the front desk. We had a complicated checkout with various payment changes but the front desk handled it without issue. Overall property was nice and clean, rooms were spacious, tvs on the smaller side, beds firm but not uncomfortably so, staff very nice and friendly throughout all our comings and goings. Being near the airport I worried about noise but only heard planes a couple of times and not during sleeping hours.Lots of quick food options within easy (5-10 minute) walking distance (26 degrees kept us from walking anywhere )
The room was nice but there isn’t a sitting area with even a coffee table if you get a room with 2 beds the bathroom was amazing but we did find a towel in the basket with mold on it. We couldn’t use the pool because it was way to cold the night we check in the guy did look into it but the following day we tried to go back but there was about 15 kids that a couple decide to throw a birthday party in there after the signs clearly state no pool party’s. They breakfast and dinner are over priced like the alcohol And there pop is flat and gross. I would stay there again if I had to but with lower expectations.
I checked in late last night. Prepaid online for a night for me my daughter and my aunt. Front desk said there’s deposit of $60 & charged me $100 without telling me he was going to charge me that amount. He just said $60. Didnt even wanna give me anything to confirm the transaction. Never again will I stay at this hotel or any other locations with same name. Tried to pay cash for deposit since I’m getting it right back and he said it’s a non cash hotel. Save your money and choose a different hotel. All they do is lie and will charge incorrectly.
Its a 110-room, full-service hotel and it opened in 2009. I had a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and hotel was centrally located making it easy to access all points in Columbus. This hotel was a solid 7 out of 10. The only negative was that the walls were fairly thin. On Saturday night, the hotel was full and I could hear noise from the rooms all around me and could actually hear peoples converstions in the next room. It did not prevent me from sleeping, but someone who is sensitive to noise would have had a problem. The other negative is that when housekeeping cleaned rooms, they threw the soiled linens from the rooms onto the floor in the hallways where they remained for several hours. Its just a training issue, but seeing dirty linen piled on the floor in the hallways is tacky and linen should not be thrown on the floor.
The girl working atthe front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. Shes the only part of the night here that has been pleasant. The rooms are so small, the furniture is old and worn. The phone didnt work in my room and they have no guest laundry. I realize a lot of this is pretty and normally I dont write reviews. But they need to keep up with competition.
Stayed 3 weeks for businessHotel had 3 weekend groups that decided noise rules did not apply to them .This went on all night till 4amHotel staff couldn’t control the groups and did nothing for all the other guestsIf you’re looking for a hotel which you can be a complete animal in this us definitely the one.
The front desk staff is wonderful and friendly. However, each time we went up (check-in, towels for pool, billing issue) we waited in line for around ten minutes. There is only one person assigned to front desk. There are no towels in pool area. Our room had a smell. We paid extra for included breakfast. The first day, after waiting for over an hour for food, it was inedible and we ended up driving through Tim Hortons. For the second day, we asked to have the charge for breakfast removed as we did not want it from Sheraton. We were told manager does not work weekends (!) and we would receive a call. We were told this by three different hotel personnel. We have not received a phone call or an attempt to resolve.
The hotel is in an excellent location of the airport and surrounding Columbus area. Although planes take off and land above the hotel, it did not interfere with the peace and quietness of our stay. Heavy road construction, it did not impede travel. The linen was dated and could use replacing, but sheets and towels were clean. The property is well maintained, staff very professional.
We were moving my daughter into her apartment for OSU. We couldnt quite finish up and needed a place with a great bed, clean bathrooms and convienent (free) parking. I had stayed here in the past and knew it would meet our needs. The bed was SUPER comfortable, the bathroom, especially the shower were awesome. It has a few fast food and walk up casual restaurants near and also a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Since we didnt plan on going out, this place was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
My company had a meeting at this hotel. While in the lobby to check in, one hotel staff spoke very unprofessionally to the front desk clerk. I could hear staff yelling, cursing at different times.Meeting RoomThe meeting room chairs were torn. The food did not come with any serving utensils. Hotel RoomThe bathroom sink was clogged took forever to drain. Desk lamp did not work. The canister for conditioner in the shower was empty. At one point, the heater was blowing cold air! I had to put the thermostat at 80 degrees to warm up.Restaurant/BarWe had to practically walk into the kitchen to let the server know that we were there and she acted like we were bothering her for coming in and sitting down at 9:30pm. The restaurant supposedly closes at 10pm! When my client ordered a glass of wine, the glass had lip stains on it. So, she had to ask for another glass of wine. I ordered a Cabernet which had been kept in the fridge! Cabernet should NEVER be refrigerated. While waiting for our food, we could hear whoever was washing dishes completely making unnecessary noise with silverware hitting the sink. Finally, when the food came out, the server said that they ran out of silverware and gave us plastic utensils. This was probably the worst hotel experience that Ive had. And Ive traveled quite a bit for business.
We enjoyed staying here the night before our flight. Very clean and the staff is amazing! Their shuttle was not running on Sunday when we got back and they took care of us with a Lyft. I called to thank them and let them know we were back. They called me back within maybe two minutes to make sure we made it there since they did not see the Lyft driver drop us off. We had him drop us off in the back by our cars. How amazing is that! They made sure we made it back safely. I will always stay here when I need a room at the airport. Thanks to the staff for being so incredible!
Hello, Let me first say I have stayed in this establishment twice before, and had no complaints. Unfortunately my visit 1-23-2019 thru 1-25-2019 was not so great. First thing the King size bed had a Queen flat sheet. Second - The phone jack was broken and I had to ask 3 times for it to be fixed. Third - The room was dusty all along the walls. I did not look on purpose it was just so obvious. Fourth - Breakfast was awful!!!! The only chef for the morning had to leave for the ER I was told. One poor lady was trying to serve, cook, and take all orders. There was very little to chose as a result. To make matters worse I paid for the meal that I could only half eat, because it was so bad. Eggs were NOT done at all. I was told the meal was only going to be $6:00 because I had to wait over 30 minutes to even have my order taken. Then it took another 20 minutes at least to get the meal. I looked at my bill today and I have been charged the full price of $11.44. Fifth: The chair at the desk was very old and many many cracks in the cover were noted. It was also one of the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever set in. I would like to be refunded the meal price at least. It was a very disappointing stay this time around.I hope to hear from your management or I will not be staying there again.I will say the staff were very friendly, but I feel they were left to fend for themselves. Where was management when that poor lady had to run the breakfast alone. SAD.Guest number 300180. Cheryl Hance.
This is a small facility but not to be underrated. It’s super clean rooms, quaint dining space with a lovely fire and comfortable meeting room made this trip very easy for me. It’s quiet, staff is very friendly and attentive especially the cleaning crew and food servers. Loved this place!
First of all there’s no microwave in the room or mini refrigerator! Second the lack of security there is horrible! Almost every night there was screaming and running all up and down the hallways while we were trying to sleep at 3 am and 6 am. People outside screaming , fighting, banging on people’s doors for no reason. They need security there walking around to ensure none of that happens. I paid way too much money to have to deal with that while I’m trying to slp !!!!!!!
Very surprisingly, my room was not cleaned up on 2nd day. I did not put on do not disturb tag. But the room was not cleaned up, towels and beds were not cleaned up. I believe these are including the fee, but they did not provide. I was very surprised and angry, but it was too late at night to order room make.My English is not enough to negotiate about this, and my plane was too early to negotiate. This hotel must be the last choice if I or you want to have a cleaned up room.
I’ve always enjoyed these hotels. They have a nice modern cool clean style. The staff was very pleasant while I was attending a three day workshop. The only reason for the four stars is because someone left the back door in the conference room open each day which let some gnats and other flying insects in from the back patio. I’m not sure if they were trying to dry out something or why they continued to leave the back door open but every now and then you would see some small flying insects in the conference room which was distracting and annoying.
Hotel room was fine but room service was terrible! Just asked them to send a box of facial tissues since the bathroom was out of tissues. Never got it. At the end of any trip we always get a receipt from any hotel we stay at. This hotel in particular just refused to print one and threw some serious attitude on how the print out will be blank but sure we can print that if you want?! Like are you serious?! We just wanted to ensure we didnt have incidentals and check the food order we had placed from the hotel restaurant.
Four points are usually fairly nice hotels, but unfortunately whoever owns this particular branch is very cheap and cuts corners.First off, the shuttles only goto the airport but are notoriously bad at following schedules. They always take nearly 30 minutes even though theyre 5 minutes away from the airport. The rooms are setup so that theres a master switch that the house cleaners turn off. When Its off, you phone doesnt work! So if you dont notice it when you check in, you can miss calls and no be able to call anywhere. Each room only has TWO towels for your stay!Eqch room is equipped with a small TV thats low quality and grainy. Each room doesnt have a refrigerator or microwave. They charge $10 for them to bring a cheap fridge to your room that doesnt keep very cold! The drains for the sinks in most rooms are clogged up. The sink faucet in some rooms leaks all over the counter. They cant afford a microwave for every floor. On my recent stay, the body wash and conditioner dispensers were completely empty. On another stay, I needed a toothbrush and the front desk told me to go buy one at a gas station!
My room was comfortable, if basic. There was no fridge to keep water cool, or food fresh, which would have been useful, given the abysmal state of service in the dining room. I did not manage to eat in the dining room, though not for the want of trying! On my first morning, I waited 18 minutes for my breakfast order to be taken. It did not happen! I had a meeting to get to, so I left, and ate fruit that I had (thankfully) brought with me. I had better luck with room service that evening, which was prompt and courteous. Food was adequate. Conference facility was not.
(Review Updated)While we only where there for 4 hours it was clean, and friendly. The biggest decision for our stay here is the parking and shuttle service to the airport thats included in the price.(Update) I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend that anyone not stay at this hotel especially if the print and shuttle service is the attraction. You will not be able to use the shuttle service back to your car if your flights delayed and you arrive back at 12:10 am. The shuttle service is discontinued at 12 am. Use this review as a guide because they will not tell you that and have zero sympathy when you call them for help.
This hotel is a mixed bag. Upon arriving, the outside looked nicely appointed and the German luxury cars bespeckling the parking lot didnt hurt. At check-in, they quickly gave me keys to one room, but I reserved two. They made me keys to the second room, but were confused as to why their machine was telling them that there were already keys made for this room. The rooms are nice enough. They are typical airport rooms--not a lot of room and no real dresser. The bathroom comes up lacking, however, with mildewy caulking around the shower and soul-less tile and wall coloring. Also, I dont think my neighbors were being loud, but I could hear them.Overall, I think this hotel can be summed up metaphorically with this actual example: They will give you a complementary bottle of water, but its not cold.
Its not a 1 out of 5 star review. Its 1 out of 3 for a 3 star hotel. The dining room was filthy and everything else is cheap and outdated. The fitness center is a joke. However, the staff was very friendly and thankfully the room was clean or I would have left. They have much to improve to have me back for a stay. Its a pretty sorry excuse for a Sheraton property. Just providing honest feedback.
Jamal made our check-in fun and easy, he was very welcoming with a can-do attitude.Frank was also a big help, made sure that our meeting room was ready to go on time. The Wi-Fi was good and the property was clean and up-to-date. Their food was good. I only wish their Fitness Center was better. However, we would definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend.
They dont mention there is a $50 deposit prior to booking. I prolly shouldve canceled. The room #210 was clean but the master light on the wall did not give me light into the entire bathroom. The bathroom light was still dim with light. The phone didnt work. I was like what the hek is this ... i was too tired 😫 to argue but never again. The breakfast bar was out or close 🤔 become of the virus but give u a sandwich , drink or chips a guest.# Bogus. I had to ask for a bottled water . Man Im over 4 Point# Bye
I dont often write reviews, but felt compelled to share my experience with other business travelers regarding this property. I also dont make a habit of staying at airport hotels, but had to due to special circumstances. This Four Points stood out for exceptional service and a well designed room. I had a lot of work to due and the desk and task chair were perfect. The bathroom was bright and open and the design of the room very modern. The staff went out of their way to assist me and make me feel like a valued guest. Just a ten minute drive from downtown it is value for the money and a great place to stay.
Has potential. Needs much more attention to general maintenance. There was no ice in any ice machines on all floors. The bathroom door doesnt slide close all the way so other guests in the room can hear (and see) you.Food is below average. Soups are either bland or way too salty. Breakfast is not complimentary.Mixed drinks at bar are well below average. Bloody Mary tasted like water, Old Fashion was okay, and not even a bottle of Merlot was in stock. Bartender was all over the place.Gym is mostly fine. Someone mentioned the treadmills were filthy. Pool looked fine, but didnt swim.
The guy working at the front desk (Frankie believe)was incredibly nice and helpful. That’s the only part of the stay here that has been professional. As I walked outside to the parking lot I overheard one of their managers yelling at somebody with no regards to the children or families around As she was yelling across the parking lot. Very unprofessional Definitely not an atmosphere I’m willing to be subject to in the future, maybe next time they will have the respect to do something like that behind a closed door not out in public where they clearly don’t care about their Professionalism. For the price My room was small, the furniture is old and worn. I would be hard-pressed to come back.
I have never once had a bad experience at this hotel. Customer service is SPOT ON - everyone is attentive, helpful, and very pleasant. From the shuttle drivers, to the front desk to the bar/restaurant, etc. etc...My only negative is that this hotel doesnt have microwaves, or mini fridges. Other than that, I love everything else.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping missed our room the second day. The front desk had fresh towels up to our room but they did not take the soiled ones so we had a pile of towels in the bathroom. They apologized but it wasnt heartfelt. It was like Oh Well Sorry. Not that I wanted a free night or anything like that, but they could have done something. It was like that happens all the time at this hotel.
My arrival was met by a very helpful young lady. The restaurant staff was also extremely courteous. I traveled with foreign colleagues and they were also impressed by the attentiveness. The shuttle driver was prompt, courteous and helpful. I wish all of my stays were this pleasant. I had multiple hotel stays in a week and 1/2 and this stay was the most relaxing and trouble free.
Cozy ambience, good parking, friendly staff... the front desk clerk provided good information regarding transportation to the airport. They have a good bar at the lobby. The rooms are okay, they are clean, and have a great view to a landscape and a pond. The hotel its close by the airport so if youre flying early in the morning or late at night this location its very convenience.
Room service is offered from 5PM to 9PM we called at 5:45PM to place an order & were told the chef was not in & they would call when he was. At 6PM they asked what we wanted to order we were told one of the employees thought she could make that & it would be ready in 15 min. needless to say that didnt happen. The chef did arrive & after a 2 hour wait we had food. We would have just gone out to get something but had already turned in our rental car. The room was nice but surprisingly in this day & age no refrigerator.
My most recent stay was for four nights and I just about broke bones or WORSE just from the slippery shower stalls. I did inform one of the clerks and she suggested I put a towel on the floor, she said the towel might get wet, but not to worry about it. I do not think this is a satisfactory solution to an ongoing problem. I was quite annoyed with the speed, or lack there of, with your high speed Internet service. I am diabetic and found that $15.00 a night for a refrigerator to be excessive and did not rent one. With a total of 12 nights, I would have spent $180. Do you realize that I could have purchase two mini refrigerators for that price? Instead I just used the ice that you have available, it would have been helpful if the ice machine on my floor had actually worked. Lastly I was informed when I checked in that I was already a member of you frequent stayers club and I had not used my account in some time. The nice clerk said she reactivated my account but I did not get any points for my most recent four night stay. If I had a choice, I would not return to your facility. However, I will be staying two more weeks (4 nights each) starting July 28, I hope that I can get out without breaking any bones.
After having to make a last minute change to my plans and needing a room at for 5 hours, I decided to chose this hotel being a SPG member. Usually SPG hotels don’t let me down but this one just wasn’t a pleasant stay. The bed was terrible and squeaked anytime I would move even an inch, the conditioner was empty and the shower drain was completely broken off. I will say the front desk was so nice and hospitable but the hotel quality wasn’t what I’m use to especially when I paid $140 to stay for 5 hours.
My friend and I were in desperate need of April. We checked all surrounding hotels everyone was booked we went into the four points hotel and after seeing me they look me up and down and said no were booked.I said okay thank you proceeded to go across the street to the Marriott which is they were booked up as well but they looked into the system and seen that the 4 points actually had two rooms available for $175 a night. I asked the woman are you sure because they told me they were completely booked, she assured me that shes a hundred percent sure the rooms were available. Bottom line is the four points by to us and I feel borderline racially profiled.... Im only giving this one star because I cant give it zero because I wanted my review to be counted....
Terrible. Management confrontational, belligerent and unwelcoming. On a 4 night stay housekeeping did not change our sheets, not 1 time!! Housekeeping only serviced our room upon request, and never before 3pm. No regard whatsoever for guest needs. The continually charged me daily, even though my room was paid in full, in addition to this they held $230 on my debit card without cause or authorization. Crippling my ability to access my money. When I inquired, the manager asked me to leave. He confronted me 3 times, without resolution to my missing funds, but to berate me and ask me to leave. Retaliation? I’m afraid, so. Ice machines inoperative. Furniture was uncomfortable a d very worn. DO NOT BOOK HERE.
I am frequent traveler, I spend 4-5 nights per week in different hotels. And I stay in this hotel for 3 nights but Everything here is the worst experience I ever had in SPG hotel! The room is not quiet enough, I can easily hear every sound from outside. The Wifi is extremely bad, they have multiple Wifi to support the hotel but non of them is stable! Never think about working remotely in this hotel! The housekeeping stuff is not friendly, never say hello to me. The front desk stuff is the worst part. They are NOT professional and knowledgeable. I choose Green Choice to skip the housekeeping for whole stay to collect SPG points, one day I asked for a free bottle of water from the front desk since I know if I have housekeeping they will give me a fresh bottle of water everyday. But the front desk girl refused and said I have to buy the water just because I skip the housekeeping! I never experience it in every other SPG or Marriott hotel! In other hotel, whenever I asked for a bottle of water, they are pleased to give me two or three, because I am the platinum member. When I checked out from this hotel, I asked front desk to check if they have added my Green Choice bonus points, they confirmed it has been added. BUT, it didn’t! I call the hotel and they confirm points will be added. BUT again, it didn’t! So after 4 days I called the hotel again, for 5 times, every time the front desk stuff transfer my line to manager but the manager never pick up the phone, I left the message but still no reply from them. I think the stuff from this hotel really doesn’t know what customer means to them!
This is not a safe area if your on foot, there are places close by to eat and shop but too dangerous on foot. Looking at the junk cars in the parking lot and the clientele should be your first tip off. NOW for my expirience. Staff was not rude but were indifferent and seemed uncaring, one staff member even walked into the Lobby and loudly belched. None of the staff was even close to being professionally dressed. It took forever to check in, and then when i go to my room on the SPG floor the door was hanging open and the room was tossed. There was nobody to be found on that floor even though maids carts were everywhere.I went back to the lobby and waited for the same UNTRAINED girl try to find me another room, again this took quite some time, to the point i just went and sat down. I finally got the keycards, the room was not on the SPG floor, and on checking the room out there were bloody mucus like spatters on the mirror UGH!!! I asked the girl that checked me in how bout a couple drink coupons for my trouble and was given a CURT NO from the manager-this was the belcher. I am a 100% SPG hotels stayer when its my choice, but after what i think is the third stay at this dirty hotel i am finished with it. This place is not that old and i was happy when it opened but it has disappointed every time. This place needs some serious management replacement. Just so you know this was all witnessed by my elderly parents that took me to the airport, they even said dont stay here again. I surly hope you contact me and have a little something to offer for my trouble besides a curt NO. I am a loyal SPG Menber
The staff that I met was nice and check in was quick. I also talked for a second to two members of the cleaning staff and they were nice. The lobby looked good but the halls just looked old. They were clean but the carpet had holes and was starting to come up in places. In the room, the bed was comfortable and I liked the pillows. The room was clean so the housekeepers are doing a great job! However, the room just looked cheap. The lamp in the corner looked like it cost about $5 at a garage sale and would wobble around whenever it was touched. Also, there were little baskets instead of drawers. The shower door was crooked and didnt close completely. The worst part is the bathroom door which is on a slide. So even when completely closed, there is about a half inch gap so the bathroom didnt feel at all private. One other thing I didnt like was that I booked through their website. On their homepage was a promo saying you get breakfast for $1. I used that promo code when I booked. When I checked in and asked about it they said they didnt do that at the hotel. So why was it the first promo listed on the hotels website? It was actually a big deal for me because I would have brought something to eat on my own if I had known. Im not a big eater in the morning so I dont want to pay $10 or $15 to just eat a few small things.
Dont even wanna give 1 star a 0 -1, just called to check availability rudest guy ever. Very sad 3 minutes away from my daughter an granddaughters houuse ,looking for certain amenities, along with prices an rrooms an availabilitys. Only answered the first question before he hung up on me.
Im a business man from Taiwan. When I ask for self-laundry facility, they told me they dont have one. I just want to make my clothes clean, and I only do front desk drop-off laundry service when I have important meeting within several days. Thats because the price are big different, and a good hotel should consider different peoples condition and need not just provide only one option.Other issue is they dont provide refrigerator in the room. I really don like what they provide because I feel staying in this hotel need to pay more but get less. Im rather to stay in a normal three stars hotel than this one.
We came here for the weekend of our 1st anniversary and reserved a king size room, however, we got a 2 queen handicap room next to the elevators. They told us that they cannot guarantee your original booking. Ridiculous! We just wanted to enjoy our anniversary and they can’t seem to accommodate.

The employees disappear at every possible moment. Often had to call multiple times to the desk just to ask for a wake up call. Scorch marks on the carpet, and poorly maintained rooms add to the unpleasantness.Fire alarms went off in my room. (no smoke or anything). Had to go down to the front desk and wait for someone to show up to tell them. Then, it took forever to remedy the situation, which was great at 3 in the morning. The gym is two cardio machines and a third broken one in the corner. Had to stay twice do to other hotels being fully booked. Both times the rate was wrong when I checked in and they never sent the folio, had to call twice each time.Careful wandering outside, very dangerous area.
The building was nice. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a king bed and a pull out couch instead of two queens. Unfortunately the pull out couch was horrendously uncomfortable and wed have rather had the two queens. The restaurant food was okay but a little bit overpriced for the quality.
Stayed here for one night on a work trip. My room was very clean, the staff were friendly, the room service was OK. The hallways look a little dated, but the rooms were upgraded just a few years ago and look really nice. I noticed several complaints about the Wi-Fi, but i was able to watch Netflix, play games, and do work without any problems. Its a great mid-price hotel. The only complaints i have were really just me... The light switches were in confusing spots and the TV was a little older than Im used to so it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Its not really within walking distance to many places, so i had to get a cab.
Awesome place to stay. The rooms and facility are above average but nothing special. The thing that makes this hotel is the staff. Upon being picked up at the airport the driver was super friendly and a pleasure to be around. He took us through wendy’s drive-thru which was awesome cause it was super late. When we checked in everyone was very attentive and helpful even though it was midnight. It took a minute to check me in because my room had been booked so late so I had to stand around for a little bit but I didnt mind. The concierge felt so bad he hooked me up with some breakfast. There were some people complaining about not being put in a proper room but honestly I just think theyre complainers cause this staff appears to do everything in their power to provide for the customer. Yeah stay here and see for yourself. This is definitely where im gonna be staying next time especially if you have a layover its super close and easy to get to the airport but not noisy with planes landing like some places.
I love Starwood Hotels and have been a loyal member for many years. Unfortunately, you get spoiled on the usual high standards which makes stays like this jarring. The AC was falling apart and made a horrible noise if turned on - which prevented any sleep. So i had to try and sleep in a very hot room.I am allergic to down and asked for non-down blanket from the front desk. They explained to me that the even though the blanket they were sending up said DownLite, i shouldnt worry because it wasnt down. As a life-long traveler and allergy sufferer, I am well aware that the Downlite brand of blankets and comforters (very popular across SPG properties) are 100% down. She disagreed and sent it up anyway. Luclkily, I didnt need a blanket because of the high temp int he room due to not being able to use the AC.The shower wouldnt properly turn off either but at this point in my stay, this was a micor problem. I was just dying to get out of there. No attention to detail and the overall stay was miserable from beginning to end pretty much. I hate to say it (I love SPG) but it was not a good stay...
First, I booked online....when I arrived I was told that I booked through a third party and there must have been a mistake because they are full but we will take care of you. They relocated us to another hotel 30 mins away!! When we arrived, I was told the real story--that they overbooked--and they will walk third party bookers before those that book direct (mind you I just booked from the picture with a 4-star hotel). Not only was I unhappy with the 30-minute drive to the new hotel, but the hotel also was not a 4 star and the pool was less than desirable. It gets worse....while I was told we will not charge you any more than what the confirmation stated... when I checked my card--it was charged $37 more than my confirmation price. The hotel that I stayed at provided me with a statement of approx. $175 (the amount that they billed Sheraton) yet Sheraton billed my card $212! Not only did I get walked, they lied, AND then attempted to charge me MORE!! BUYER BEWARE!! They did nothing but disrupt my travel, transferred me to a lower hotel, lie to me, and then charged me MORE. That is how the Sheraton takes care of you. No thanks!
I have avoided most Four Points over the last 5 years because they have become dated and overdue for a renovation. If this Four Points is any indication of the new design and layout, I will rethink my strategy.Front desk was fast and friendly. Very welcoming and comfortable lobby. I almost didnt want to go to my room. When I did get to my room, it was fresh with design traits that I would even want to recreate at home.Fast internet, good parking and convenient to airport.
I stayed at this hotel for the convenience and ease to get to the airport, but the hotel needs some improvements. The toilet paper holder was loose and the paper fell off when pulled. The carpet in the common hallway was dingy, tattered and needed cleaning. The printer at the public computers was not working. We went downstairs to get some appetizers and drinks, but was told that because it was costing them more to keep the bar tender there working, they were going to close early. There were about 5 people who could not be served hot food, only salad and sandwiches. No fresh coffee at the reception bar. Although the food we did try was acceptable. If Im to stay there again, some improvements need to be made.
Easy to find. Well located for airport. Rooms are OK but very noisy, need to sample Sheraton CDG airport to see how it should be done (you look out onto airport and its completely silent!). Gym good for treadmill and bike, not good for weights but that will only affect a few people so not a reason not to come here. Ordered room service and food was cold, other guests very noisy throughout night talking and shouting in corridor. As I said, great for location but not so great at being a Sheraton group hotel, should be better.
Great hotel near the airport. Free transportation to/from the airport and they have a park and fly option for a daily fee, which is much cheaper than if you park at a normal airport parking lot. Room rates are right in line with what a 3-Star hotel should be. The hotel was modern, very clean and comfortable for traveling through Columbus. Front desk staff was very good and attentive to our needs. The only thing I wasnt impressed with was the barn-door style bathroom door, my three year old couldnt open or close it by herself. Not sure if it was a heavy door or it was rubbing against the adjacent wall. All in all Id recommend staying here.
Came in the room thought it was nice until we flipped the pillow and blanket and there was dried blood on the sheets. They came up replaced the sheets but could not reaccommodate us to another room. They never came back to clean the room after that... and that was within the clock in time. So if you do choose this place please for your own hygiene flip the pillows and blankets to make sure there is no blood so you dont catch some nasty infection or disease.
Dont spend money with the hope you will have better experience than motel chain such as Comfort Inn etc. Another negative is no breakfast included. Well you would think you will good choice with the breakfast etc in the hotel restaurant. No, not at all. Very limited menu with bumped up price. I would advise travelers not to spend that much with no extra comfort and facilitate than other hotel chain like Choice hotels (all of them come with free breakfast) or Marriott tier 2 chain such as Fairfield inn, Springhill Inn etc.
I booked this room on my weekend off just to get away for a nice relaxing swim at the pool, when I checked in they said the pool was closed Fri-Sat.,what a let down, thanks to Hot Wire.Com they transferred me to Hyatt OSU where they had a pool and the service and room was GREAT!!!!
Tiffany at the front desk was AMAZING. It is obvious that she both loves her job and she’s good at it! She never once frayed from going above and beyond and showing guests that they are her number one priority! AMAZING customer service. I will definitely be coming back!
There were some minor maintenance, and cleanliness issues. The biggest problem was the bartender allowed someone to charge over $40 to our room. Check your receipts before you leave. After a phone call, the issue was resolved, but it should never have happened in the first place.
I arrived on a late flight - got to the property at 11pm. Front desk lady had my room key ready and mentioned nearby restaurants that were still open since the hotel restaurant was closed. They were close (walking distance) so I thought great Ill walk over for a quick bite and then I can get to work on some paperwork. Everything went downhill from there. The restaurants were all closed for regular service. Wendys wouldnt let me walk through their drive through. Local pizza place let me order from their window but wouldnt let me wait inside for my pizza. Why you ask? Because the parking lot was full of young folks with music blasting, smoking weed, and acting out. And here I am walking by in a suit looking like a lost out of towner with no common sense. No wonder the restaurants wouldnt open their doors... So- no thanks to the front desk lady. Anyway - when I get back to my room I found that the light bulb for the desk lamp was out. Hard to work at the desk without light... No prob Ill just swap it for another. Tried one of the bedside bulbs. That one was out. Tried the other bedside bulb but it was screwed in so tight it broke in my hand. Im now down to one other light fixture. I got that bulb and it worked! After getting the desk light on (at this point the only other working light is the bathroom) I called down to the front desk and asked for some lightbulbs. I even offered to comedown and pick them up. The dude who answered the phone put me on hold to check if he could get lightbulbs. Nope he says -bulbs are in the maintenance closet and maintenance has the keys and theyll be back in the morning. Of course they are. Offer to move rooms? Nope. Offer anything else like an apology? Nope. All of this is in the first 30 minutes of my arrival. Normally I love Sheratons and am very familiar with their 4 Points properties. I have had great experiences at the 4 Points NYC Tribeca on Canal Street and the Washington DC property near 9th and K street. But this was just terrible. Dont get me wrong - the room was clean and other amenities seem just fine. But Im from out of town (duh its a hotel - put yourself in my shoes). And figure out a way to keep some bulbs and other consumables in a closet where the front desk clerk has access. What happens if a guest runs out of TP? Housekeeping will be there in the morning? In summary - this is a nice property but its being staffed by people who dont have the hospitality mentality. Im not asking to have my butt kissed. But if I wanted to stay at a Motel 6 I would have gone there instead.
The hotel is newer and appears at first approach as a nice new hotel. But....We rented two hotel rooms with twin beds since there 4 couples of us. They instantly tried to stick us in a king which we declined. We then checked to make sure the other room was a twin setup which they confirmed with us that it was. When the other half came in to claim their room they told them that it was set for a king which obviously it wasnt. For our room. Clean no bed bugs or anything crazy. There was a burn mark in my beds sheet but that bed.... Worst night of sleep Ive ever had. Its nice clean I even opened it up all the way to look at it but it felt like sleeping on a 90 year set of coils. The electrical set up in the room is very confusing at first. We walked in and couldnt get the bathroom lights on at first which was just weird....eventually after figuring out the DaVinci code we got that going. Ice machine was broken on our floor. I called for towels one night and never got then so I had yo go to the front desk to get them the next morning. The USB plug inside our room were broken in our room. The bar was out of a lot of stuff. I will say the parking lot is well lit and garbage free. Its supposed to be close to the airport which can be useful.I guess you can lipstick on a pig bit youll always see the true colors.
Generally room was clean although there were dark spots on the rug in the room. Also the outside hallway had a severely worn spot down to the subflooring or so it appeared.Food was good and served generally promptly. We used their conference room and the staff was very attentive when the projector cable developed problems.
Ive stayed here twice now. First time, great room. Everything was nice, second time not so much. Room seemed very old, TP dispenser almost falling off the wall. Shower door handle was weird. Just seemed cheaply done. Probably wont stay again unless everything else is booked.
My room faced the parking lot. The curtains were sheer and didn’t block any of the light. It was as if I slept with all the lights on. The Ethernet cable plug in was broken as were all other outlets. Conditioner and shampoo were empty. Marks on the walls, stains on the carpet, overall felt dirty.
I did enjoy the drinks but that was it. Service was rarely around and took much longer than expected. I ordered a lamb gyro, in which I have had many in the past. The French fries were salted so much that was all I could taste. After eating my gyro I literally went outside and vomited. Do not advise eating their good or going if in a hurry.
Somehow they allowed an overbooking. This was the second overbooking I experienced in Columbus. I spent the first night of my stay at another hotel which meant repacking and moving. The room we were given was not the single king as requested but a double queen. Minor inconvenience, sure, but when we arrived we were third in line with reservation issues. The keys would not stay magnetized. I had to get them reprogrammed immediately after receiving the keys. The next day one of the two keys refused to work again. The shower cannot be turned on without standing directly under the water. The bathroom door is a barn-type sliding door that leaves huge cracks on either side so every sound AND smell evacuates to the entire room. Hope you like dropping a deuce publicly with your significant other or business partner. On my last morning, there was a robbery from Speedway that ended in our back parking lot. Apparently the guy died from the injuries caused by the robber. The road was built and then the hotel was added so there are left turn only lanes that lead to a curb. Its confusing. The people were nice. They had the new hotel set up before we got there. They comped us with a drink card as well. The bartender was good company. The system and those running the place need to make changes or that hotel will go to the toilet quickly.
Probably one of the 2 or 3 nicest four points I have ever stayed in. arrived late and left early so didnt use the restaurant. the staff and décor in the lobby were nice. not sure what kind of theme they are going for in room décor, but I was diggin it. water pressure in the shower was less than desirable. over all, considering the limited time I spent, its a very nice option.
I travel semi-frequently across I-70 to go to conferences and such, and (after having gone to college in the Columbus area) Im comfortable with stopping in the area for a nights rest. This particular stay, I was traveling from home (Pittsburgh) to Toledo for a wedding, and then ultimately going home after. I had some people to see in Columbus, so I again checked into the Four Points. I called mid day to let them know I would be later than anticipated, and the girl working the desk thanked me for my call and that they would be sure to keep my room for me.At check in (just about 11 PM), Irene was working at the front desk and I felt very welcomed. There wasnt a single hassle at all. Even though the hotel was busy, my room was quiet, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was beyond professional. If youre planning on passing through Columbus for a night or even a small stay, this hotel and its staff have always met or exceeded my expectations and continuously make my stay worthwhile.
Warning! They did not honor our valid reservation made weeks in advance via their own website with a confirmation number. We even called the hotel directly the day of arrival to confirm that we would be checking in late at night. We were told that was not a problem, but when we arrived to check in, they told us there was no room and we were not offered any consolation. Simply had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and find our own solution. Beware!!
Arrived into town the night prior for the Penn State--Ohio State game the following morning. We were greeted with a smile and informed by both the Front-desk personnel and the Bartender at your quaint/intimate bar of any and all local attractions. Our room was very clean and comfortable...great bed! I will be staying here for the next Penn State--Ohio State game in 2021..Thanks Four Points!
Checked in on a Sunday evening for an early flight out Monday morning. Check in was quick and efficient, and I was upgraded to a suite (as a Platinum). The suite itself was comfortable, and all of the furnishing were in good shape. I had to go down to the restaurant to get ice, as the ice makers were broken on the 3rd and 4th floors. All in all, a comfortable stay.
This place has poor customer service. Had a reservation for a thursday and fri. Checked in on thursday. Fri was gone all day come back to my room key doesnt work go to front desk to have it reactivated they look up my room and said i was checked out. I told the lady at the front i was supposed to be there for 2 night she said no 1. Then she said they was sold out on fri and der was nothing she could do. I asked for manger he never comes out, my son needs his asthma medicine by this time. We wasnt allowed to go get our bags had to wait on housekeeping. Front desk disnt care a child was having a asthma attack in front of their face. Called district manager he still hasnt returned my phone calls. This hotel is horrible... .
Great location and close to the airport. Staff was very friendly. Rooms very nice and quiet. Hotel very clean and housekeeping does a very good job. Dani at the front desk was very friendly, had a sense of humor and was very accommodating. She made our stay very nice
I checked in late after a long evening of entertaining clients. I get to my room, the HVAC control unit is dangling from the wall. All else looks fine, I jam it back into he wall and press the buttons. AC turns on and then off. Repeat. Same thing. Its too late and Im too tired. Bed not comfortable, room appears clean but the place feels dingy. Unfortunate there cant be a reputable SPG option near Easton.
Room was clean and comfortable. Dont like the fact you cant run the fan to keep air circulating. Only way to do that is turn the temp way down and you works be freezing. The wifi is anally l absolutely horrible. No strong connections and very slow speed. Made it difficult to get any work accomplished. They really need to fix the wifi.
I really, really, really hate giving this hotel a 2 star review but I really feel I have to. My friend and I stayed there April 29th and May 1st of 2016. I had booked through Expedia and had requested a handicapped room at that time. My friend is in a wheel chair due to an amputation of one of her legs. We did not receive a handicapped room. My friend is very capable and normally this isnt a huge deal, we just ask for a shower chair and we get one. Even at lower end hotels we have been able to get a shower chair. But not at this hotel. They provided her with a milk crate. Yes. A milk crate. And the following day the provided her with a chair from their dining room. She didnt make a huge deal out of it, because she isnt like that, but she actually fell trying to shower on that chair when it slipped from under her. Now, maybe we should have made a larger deal about the handicapped room. Perhaps that was the issue, I dont know. But it seems to me a hotel that charges as much as this one, that is as nice as this one, could have a shower chair! The Super 8 we stayed at recently provided one and even put it in the shower for her. That being said, the hotel itself was lovely and the staff helpful and friendly. The two stars is for the lack of amenities for the handicapped.
Fourpoints Columbus OH, airport location has an amazing staff from management down to room service. They do a great job of making the guest feel at home and special. Lounge area is fantastic for hanging out and having a few evening drinks while watching the game on TV. The menu could use some work, rather than offer a little of everything, be great at something.
The staff are pretty great, as Four Points locations go. As an SPG Gold member, Im often upgraded and the rooms available for upgrades here are typically not available. No problem though, as I have come to expect this. The hotel rooms could be a little more clean, and my heat didnt work in the room. The decor in the rooms could stand to be updated, as well. The breakfast was decent, and wait staff were wonderful. All in all, Ive stayed here before, since Columbus does not have many SPG hotels, and plan to stay again.
Check in was good. Treated hospitably. The room met expectations until the morning. When I found ants crawling on my bed along with another small bug with wings. The night manager was extremely apathetic. Did not offer to comp the room. Never apologized for the experience and after asking me what level of SPG member I was told me shed check to see how many points she could credit my account with. So, if I was a platinum level...the bugs would be worth more points? She needs some training.
This Four Points was excellent. It has a complimentary shuttle from the airport, and the service was very good. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast in the restaurant. There are not many suites, so upgrades were not available, but the room was spacious, clean, and quiet.
The blinds in my room broke; preventing me from opening them each morning. I went to the front desk the next morning told then the problem and that I would be out all day. I came back and they were not fixed. I went back to the front desk and told them they did not repair the blinds and I would have dinner in the bar area. He said they would fix it as soon as the gentlemen returns from an airport pick up. I went back up to my room and it was not fixed. The next morning I told the front desk a third time that the blinds were still broken and again I would be out all day. When I returned that evening they were still broken. I gave up complaining. On my final night, I returned to my room and they were finally fixed. However, no one left me a message telling me they fixed it; nor did they contact me to apologize for the delay or give me an explanation. I was very disappointed. Additionally, the food at the hotel restaurant was not very good. I must say the service at hotel bar was good and the exercise room was very nice. They had new equipment and was clean.
I started staying at the Four Points given its proximity to both my work place and the airport. However over the months, my reason to stay here has changed from that to the Staff. Specifically Courtney at the front desk and Tim at the bar. Its great to see both of them after work, as it seems like coming back to a familiar place instead of just a hotel, while I am away from home. Duran also makes it a point to greet me any time we meet. All in all a great experience due to the people who work here. Love at the front desk is a rising star too!
Can promise you any positive reviews are from the owners. Well, from the owners via grossly under-paid employees. Allow me to explain; This maybe the worst hotel in the area. The newest? Thats a lie they tell you. First of all, the hotel is in shambles. Instead of fixing AC and heating units, they place space heaters in the rooms and tell employees to not acknowledge that its uncomfortable in front of guests The lobby, elevators and floors (and rooms) are all either freezing or sweltering....but the back office is always a cool, relaxed 60 degrees. (We will come back to that) The employees arent trained, therefore, make simple mistakes often. These mistakes arent big deals to the hotel, just the guests they inconvenience. Mostly, the only thing offered for screw ups is a free CONTINENTAL (5 dollar value) breakfast coupon. Good luck cashing it, the rude AM server will question why you even have such a glorious gift. (If she even serves you) Thats if youre brave enough to order food cooked by a guy who is also mopping floors and running shuttles to the airport in between orders. The pool is broken and the balance is kept by a maintenance man, out of the goodness of his heart, BY EYE. They encourage you to swim in a pool they are keeping safe by eyeball. The rooms are constantly dirty, because, again, employees arent trained, therefore, send multiple people to rooms. You may have gotten walked in on if youve stayed here in the past year. It was a very regular occurrence. The management company is run by Indians. I do not specify their heritage to be biased or bigoted. They are, in fact, Indian. They demanded people who didnt show up be checked-in and charged full price. When people would call to dispute, the system said they were there. We also were HEAVILY encouraged to turn off any guests survey if we thought they would give a negative review. When people smoke weed or cigarettes in the non-smoking hotel, nothing happens. They stay multiple days. Why does this matter? youll get a smoked in room in a non-smoking hotel, and the staff will pretend youre crazy when you complain. There is literally no reason, other than prostitution or maybe drug dealing for ANYONE to EVER willingly stay in this hotel. I mean, i havent mentioned the bed bugs....or the toe nail clippings in between sheets...or the ant infestation.....or the flooding....or the raw sewage....or the health code violations in the kitchen....Recently, they discovered our bars coke dispenser was filled with 4 year old coke. Can you believe the owners tried to get a credit back from coke for the spoiled sodas they were still serving people? The exact e-mail read i guess thats why weve gotten so many complaints about a foul taste... Meat? old. expired. not kept properly. Why? the kitchen manager is also the houseman. Why? they pay him under the table through a 3rd party. They recently began charging an extra fee for ketchup. The biggest contract they had, Southwest, recently pulled out. The flight crews refused to renew a contract with them. They take the fridges out of the rooms and tell guests we are all out because they want to save on electricity, not because they are a green hotel. Green hotels dont use plastic bottled water. Green hotels dont print out thousands of pages which are thrown in the trash, daily. They refer to it as Green so you wont complain about half-assed service and amenities. Drains are constantly clogged. Doors are constantly broken. All of the cameras in the parking lot dont work. They charge people to park there while they leave on vacation, and tell them their car is secured. However, upon a break-in (12-15 in the last couple months) they will PROMPTLY tell you they are not responsible and that you parked at your own risk. The police wont even come out.
This is a beautiful hotel, and the staff was very nice, but the associate who checked me in charged me the wrong rate, issued me a room but didnt log that I had shown up (!), and told me she had changed my stay from 2 nights to 1 per my request- but didnt. Waiting now to see if the manager can fix it.
We stayed at this location on August 1, our honeymoon night. We were only there a few short hours before our flight was scheduled early August 2. The hotel was gorgeous but we didnt get a chance to enjoy the amenities. We parked our vehicle at the hotel for the week we were gone. We had a shuttle to and from the hotel. The shuttle driver to the airport was great. The driver that picked us up was awful. I called as we landed, as I was told to do for shuttle service. My husband has a broken foot so an attendant at the airport wheeled him to baggage claim. This did not put behind though, we waited with other passengers on our plane. We cant control the airport or baggage claim. We met our driver outside. The entire process may have taken 20-25 min. He was not happy when we approached the van. He was agitated in his demeanor and his first and only words to us was Ive been waiting for 30 minutes! I replied by telling him that we cant control the pace of the airport. It wasnt like we played around inside. We arrived at 11:30p and wanted to get home. I was too exhausted to argue with this guy but I regret not ripping into him. We complained to the desk person but I figured it wouldnt get anywhere. I called management on Monday an left a message. I called back on Wednesday and spoke to the manager. He just said he was sorry and that he would take care of it. For such a great hotel, they need to get rid of this guy. We probably wont stay again only because of this guy.
I am currently in a room on second floor, the room 223 is very noise, people start party around 3am and they open, close doors, talk on phones in the hall way. called front desk service and they just do nit want to stop. I am so disappointed by this no party hotel. I am here to sleep ....2018 4/8 4am in the mroningStaff was very responsive, he warned them three times and finally they stopped because service desk thread to call 911.Other parts of hotel is great, average this review to 3 points
I have stayed at Columbus Four Points - Airport several times b/c its en route to a frequent business travel destination. I always have a quick stay b/c Im passing through but wish I could stay longer. The front desk staff is among the friendliest and most helpful Ive seen (and I travel frequently). Theyre genuinely friendly and give good local recommendations. I always look forward to staying here. And they have a salt water pool!
Clueless and unfriendly staff, no parking, rooms just okay, inconvenient check out due to incorrect instructions and phone system not working. When I went inside to tell staff there was no parking, she gave me new room keys which I did not need and I never even said a word about room keys. I explained the issue again and she said to park at a nearby restaurant. I was concerned about getting towed or if my car would even be there in the morning. As a paying guest, I was very disappointed with my experience. I will never stay here again.
Small restaurant downstairs looks like a place to crab a burger and beer with no expectations. The reality is totally different. Tim, the server, was amazing in his job and basically told us that everything on the menu is really good. That never goes well with me, so I did not believe him. Wow, I was so wrong! Their grilled cheese sandwich is the best I have ever had and same for the chicken wings. I am not a quick finger food eater as I prefer finer dining, but I will go back anytime to eat here. Amazing food and Tim is a total super start with his great smile and attitude to his work and customers.Thank you for great service!
In Columbus for 1 night on business - extremely friendly and help check in experience! Clean, comfortable room with a cozy bed that I could have slept in for a lot longer if time allowed. Easy, hot cooked to order breakfast served in the morning fast and friendly with a smile. An absolute repeat when back to Columbus for business or if for pleasure.
Having a bad knee made walking painful and the front desk gave us the closest room possible. Then to add to my pleasure I found that this is the FIRST hotel/motel in which I have stayed which supplied Gluten Free bagels plus Gluten Free egg products. Both of those were a first. What a pleasure to be able to actually...
I changed my reservation when I checked in to accommodate my travel changes due to a death in the family. When I checked out, I confirmed that I was indeed checked out, and that my bill was sent. This was confirmed by the front desk. Three days later I was billed for the original length of my trip, not what I had actually stayed. I called the hotel and they said they would change my bill to two nights, Friday and Saturday. When I received the updated bill, it was for 3 nights. Ive called back 3 times since and am still waiting for a response.
I hate when I get booked here on layovers. Always some issue with checking in or other very basic requests. Rooms are quiet and comfortable but the TV and cable package belong in a Motel 6 along with my taped together remote. Internet works well though. Doesnt seem like very good value at all for the money here
Ive stayed at this hotel several times this year and have noticed a significant decline in overall cleanliness and service. The elevators and hallway carpets were very dirty.Additionally my reservation indicated- feather free pillows due to allergies and it was not done at check in (checked in at 8pm). Waited over 30 minutes so just went without.

2022-04-20Great location from were we needed to be. I am going to pick out a few concerns during my stay. First concern, there was one towel, one hand towel in the bathroom room. Second, no sheets or blankets in room for sofa bed. Bathroom door handles/light switches were dirty. I cleaned them up with my lysol wipes. Microwave didnt work, manager said he would switch it or fix but definitely still didnt work. Curtain/blind chord in main room off suite was broke. Pool was not accessible/closed. Other than that a few of the staff members were friendly and professional. Complementary breakfast was nice.

2022-02-27DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel was having credit card authorization issues for all customers and wanted to charge us an additional $700 when they were the ones who dropped the ball. Keep in mind this was for 13 rooms that were booked. Several customers had to leave with no place to stay. Customer Service was not very helpful or seemed as if they wanted to help resolve our issues. They weren’t apologetic. And when they attempted to apologize there was always a “but”… I will never ever book with another Holiday Inn again in life. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

2022-03-27When we got to the room, it was freezing! The heat wasnt on at all. When i booked the room, no one told me about the service charge that is supposedly refunded when you check out. When I checked out, we were told the computer was acting up and they would email me a receipt and the money would go back on my card....its the next day and its not back on my card yet. The bed was very comfy and the shower had great water pressure and temperature

2021-11-14Room was clean. I like the setup of the room. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. I like the fact they make shampoo, conditioner, and body wash accessible in the shower. Suggestion...please put remote for TV in a plastic bag for cleanliness.

2021-12-30Room is nice enough, probably not for the price. Got the room for three nights and they havent given me towels or washcloths at all. Im just glad I know that every hotel stinks these days and I carry my own.

2021-11-15The pool was closed, no breakfast even though these were both on the listing as NOT closed. Had to ask several times for body wash, they weren’t filled in any of the showers? I had to use shampoo the first time because they “forgot” to bring it to my room after waiting an hour. I asked twice. Once by calling, and once by actually going down to the front desk. We had just drove 9 hours and all we wanted to do was take showers. Not good customer service when the front desk person was too busy listening to their AirPods and forgetting to tell housekeeping about it. There was also no fridge, which was annoying. All in all, it was a very low budget experience and had I known all this would’ve booked somewhere else. We drove 9 hours for a bachelor party and it was subpar.

2021-11-01The hotel was very nice, and everything was great except for the bedding. My friend and I each had our own bed, but both the comforters had mold inside them, and we could tell by holding them up to the light. The bed skirts were also dirty and had stains on them. The bedding altogether was quite disgusting.

2022-03-03Came here for a dayuse booking bc my house was getting serviced. The bed sheets had yellow and brown stains 🤢🤢🤢 also the curtains were stained and there was a white stain on the sofa chair. Besides the stains though, it was a solid hotel. There is a burger king across the street

2021-09-21The experience was terrible. It was very noisy. The people above me ran across the floors and jumped all night long. I finally requested a move and that was no better because there was like a kids slumber party on one side and people who played music on the other. And again over top of me they made noise. The staff (who may be owners IDK) could really care less. They were more concerned about bothering me the next day to check out than they were about my stay.I stayed at the hotel when it was first built and it was really nice. The clientele has change and so has the mindset of the staff. I will not stay here again!!
