Went with intention of getting a BLT and seen picture of the rice burger and it looked good and unique so I tried it and so glad I did. The flavor of sandwich was excellent!!! Chicken breast fried to perfection and the dipping sauce that came with it was so freaking good. Definitely will be back again and again for the rice burger. The loaded fries are definitely worth a try they were truly loaded and enough for 2 people!!!! This place was very clean and staff really friendly.
Went to the downtown location with a group for lunch. It was absolutely fantastic! I did the Your Call which is a cup of soup and half a sandwich. I selected the chili and the chicken salad on multi grain bread. Yum! No room for dessert but the chocolate cake looked incredible! Cant wait to go back!
My wife went to Flyboys Deli on 9/18/2021 which was adjacent to the Hispanic Heritage Festival in Downtown Dayton, Ohio. It was our very first time dining there. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a marvelous atmosphere. Highly recommendable. Also an ideal place for lunch dates.
Flyboys is always great food! Im never disappointed in the food or service there.
We stopped to get lunch later in the afternoon around 2:30. The people were friendly and the chicken tenders were good and looked like they were actually hand breaded. Maybe not, but at least different from standard fare. Nice place!
As a former New Yorker I can say that this place thoroughly scratches the itch. Excellent sandwiches and sides. Im also delighted there is finally a place in the Dayton area serving egg sandwiches early enough to grab before work. The only thing missing that would complete the NYC experience is rushed, indifferent staff, as the people working here are attentive and friendly.
Best chicken salad in the city! Pastrami is also top notch!

I got the large reuben. Huge. I could have probably split it with someone. I ordered to go but Id love to come back and sit and enjoy a beer or two next time. Staff was friendly.

Here I have their Dayton Nachos, chicken, cheese, lettuce, salsa & sour cream. Very nice size portion for the price 8$ They offer a wide range of items, sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, desserts etc etc.

Great food and atmosphere. Styled after a NY deli. Perfect location across from day air stadium. Been there twice while in downtown and it has been a treat to the taste buds both times. Will definitely go back again.

2022-03-31I eat at this location of Fly Boys about once a week. Today it was very busy and parking is always an issue. This is simply due to the downtown location, and not an issue with this deli. As always the business was clean, the staff was polite, service was fast and food was great.

2022-04-11Such an easy review to write. Flyboys is fantastic. I have eaten what they have to offer hundreds of times and I can tell you without hesitation that its all good. Sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts, all prepared with attention and concern for the customers experience. They have some really great breakfast items Ive never seen anywhere else and those are delicious. They do an excellent job with Doordash as well, taking care to package things so you get them in once piece. A fantastic place to get food. And now Im hungry from writing the review. I think its time for The Liberty Reuben...

2022-04-13I have tried a lot of their food and wanted something new to try. Today I tried the Katsu Chicken burger and it did not disappoint. Unique Asian twist, chicken sandwiched between rice patties with a spicy kick and kimchi😋

2022-04-22This is a good place to eat. I ordered the chicken noodle soup which was hearty and delicious. I was at a business meeting so I didn’t take photos but when I go back I definitely will. The place was clean, staff was prompt and professional. The decor is nice. It’s walking distance to the ballpark or for a lunch. That helps with the parking part that all downtown businesses struggle with. Good experience. I will return.

2022-06-19Had a birthday party there with quite a few family members. They were down several workers but they did their best to take care of the patrons and us. The steak sandwiches smelled and tasted so good. All the little kids loved their food. It was a perfect evening.

2022-05-21Flyboys downtown location was the host and caterer for my military retirement party for 40 people on May 20th, 2022. We had an amazing time! Excellent customer service from date/time selection, menu selection, and of course during the event. We felt honored and well taken care of. Oh and the food was phenomenal!!! The buffalo chicken flatbread pizza was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Flyboys for your family or corporate events!

2021-07-26Pastrami sandwich was ok. Both slices of wheat bread fell apart when I first picked them up. Food took over 15 minutes during lunch, which makes coming often during hour-only lunch break difficult.Ill try again another day to see if today was just a fluke.

2021-06-29Came for the soft opening and had a bite of their Reuben and chicken panini which were both amazing! They also have really good breakfast sandwiches — “K street” sandwich was my favorite 😊

2021-12-10We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the downtown Flyboys and the food venue and staff were all awesome. Our out of town guests loved all the Air Force pictures and information hanging throughout. Highly recommend working with them on menu selections. Great food and drink!
