My husband and I visited on 7/15/2022. The French toast was just average, the coffee was okay, and the iced tea was weak, but the bacon was crispy and the biscuits and gravy were good. Warning: if you order the biscuits and gravy they will cover your eggs and hash browns in the gravy too, which was unexpected and made them inedible for me. Fortunately my husband will eat anything.
It was so fun eating here today 3-19-22 !!! My waitress, MAGGIE, and another waitress, NATALIE, were both so sweet!!! MAGGIE kept on checking on me to see how my food was which was so great of her. !! It was so fun talking to the girls too. I felt like I was on vacation getting to eat at the cutest diner 💛💚💙💜
We went for our first time Sunday, and it was so small, WAY OVER PRICED, and served pretty much a sloppy mess. We we’re highly disappointed! The prices were outrageous. For me, my husband and step son it was 64$ and that was not even including a tip! We won’t be returning
I’ve had several great meals here. The patty melt was probably my favorite! Great lunch, great breakfast! And everyone is always very friendly! This is my favorite place to have something quick and I suspect they will do even better now that the street is opened up! Make sure you try the croissants too. Had a chance to come back and it’s just as great as before! Me and my buddy had some omelettes and they were fantastic! Coffee was great, and the service was so warm and welcoming.
We aren’t from the area, but we were passing through cuyahoga falls and needed Breakfast. This place was by far the best breakfast place i’ve ever been to, no joke! Such a fun and bright environment. There was a wait, but that’s only because of the tiny place that it is. They don’t have microwaves here, most food here is made from scratch by the owner, including the pancakes...which is hard to find nowadays. Most places use boxed pancake mix. I could taste the quality in the food! Loved everything I had. They have all kinds of artwork for sale on the walls and it’s a very colorful, fun, warm, and inviting restaurant. I love how it’s right on the corner of where people are walking or driving by so it captures people’s attention. I got to see lots of people walking their pups as we walked in and when we walked out. Wonderful Place and We will be back!! And maybe we will bring Friends. *Starting around April 7th they will be open on Sundays 8am-2pm*
Throwback diner style restaurant. Nice atmosphere hardworking young staff. Food was hot, but it was just okay. I didnt taste anything eggs-citing. They were extremely busy during my visit. The even had a decent number of carryout orders, so they must be doing it GREAT to a lot off peoples liking. I had the pecan pancakes. They were good, but the were served dry and there was some nameless syrup on the table. Some whipped butter & whipped cream on top along with some Real Maple Syrup or even some Misses Butterworth could have turned them into a treat and not just an order of pancakes.
We ordered our drinks and that was it. They came back to give us refills but never decided to get our order. We waited for 30 minutes. A family of 4+ came in after us, got seated, drinks, and they even got their order taken by our same waitress. I get yall are decently busy but its not that many tables...and youd think with like 8 booths and some counter seating, youd try and get people in and out. The drinks were just okay. Wish we could of tried the food.
I came here today with my friends and our experience was AMAZING. our server was so personable and attentive. (shout out to you i don’t remember your name but i do know you have a browns tattoo lol) I got a cheeseburger and fries, my friends got blt’s— both delicious. their ranch is so good. the atmosphere and everything overall was great, will definitely come back :)
I just wasn’t impressed. I inquired about the French toast and showed her a pic from a recent review, the lady told me it’s no longer on thick bread, it’s on regular white bread (???). My mom got their ‘homemade Mac n cheese’ it was homemade! but that doesn’t mean it’s good. It was basic. I ended up getting the pancakes (definitely didn’t taste like buttermilk homemade pancakes), I asked for maple syrup she said the syrup was at the table and that it was mrs butterworths. Yikes. Prices are very reasonable, you pay for what you get.
Pickup. Very tasty, but over easy eggs were harder than usual. English muffin was a bit soggy, but think that was only because it was pickup and in boxes, continuing to cook. Served fresh, it would have been perfect.Have eaten there for years and always love the food.
Breakfast was very tasty. Veggie omelet had a good variety of vegetables which were perfectly sauteed before being added to the omelet. The toast was wonderful. Again, perfectly prepared with just the right amount of crispness. The service was great. All the staff were so polite and attentive. We will definitely be returning!
Nice for a grab and run on the go breakfast or to sit down and relax a while. The chicken salad sandwich was great. The biscuits and gravy wasn’t the best. Loved the environment nice to sit at a window seat and watch the cars. Loved all the old fashioned kitchenware. We will definitely be back.
One of my favorite places to grab breakfast. The food is always fresh and prepared when ordered. Quality ingredients are really what separates. Coffee is good too. Love their homemade jams. Still need to try this place for lunch but I think breakfast is harder to get right, so Id be surprised if it wasnt just as good or better.
My absolute favorite dish here is the sausage gravy with biscuit, which comes with eggs and hash browns. Everything is ALWAYS cooked perfectly, and this is the hands down best gravy Ive ever had. The servers are all really nice and attentive. They also recognize regular customers, though they are good to new patrons as well. I cannot recommend Flurys Cafe highly enough!
Cozy little spot, definitely more space than the last location. Very busy.Breakfast was good, took a long time to get our pancakes which was not ideal for our children but now we know for next time. I would definitely try this place again. All the servers were super friendly!
Now accepting credit cards!! fantastic diner fare. They are still seating challenged, finding a table for more than 2 people is difficult during peak times. food is worth the wait. breakfast portions are generous and the toast is great. homemade jam is also yummy. kids love the milkshakes.
Fairly expensive for what you get. I got the pesto tomato cheese omelet and it comes with hash browns. I added the bacon for extra. I got a sprinkle of crumbles on top if my omelet and the hash browns were overcooked. The omelet, however, was amazing. Still too expensive, but was good. Good biscuits too, a little dry, but good flavor.Stupid expensive. Nice, hard working wait staff.
This past Monday morning was our first visit and I LOVED it! The food was great, service was attentive, and prices were reasonable. Its my new favorite breakfast place. Hash browns are great! Will be bringing friends and family here. Love that its a local business we can support.
Without questions, one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Flurys Cafe is a quaint spot that only seats about 30 people, but despite its small size, it has great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The walls are decorated with local art--much of which is for sale--and the music isnt loud or antagonizing--think more coffee shop than franchised diner. The servers and owner are friendly and always willing to give you the best service possible. The food is cooked with care, and there is an ever-changing selection of homemade jams and cookies. I recommend ordering one of the daily specials (keep an eye out for the cornmeal pancakes. They are great), Eggs Benedict, or a patty melt.
This diner is very small. We walked in and there are 3 booths and someone was already sitting at one... The other two were reserved for parties of 2 or more. They had stools along the wall for seating as well and one actual table. It seemed like it had fresh paint and cute decorative pictures on the wall. Their menus were paper. We ordered a banana shake! Very good!! Tasted smooth, tasted like it was made with real bananas and it had whipped cream with brown sugar/cinnamon they also brought out the extra too! I ordered cinnamon French toast, which looked really good and tasted really good. Ordered a side of French fries which totally looked like it was out of a frozen bag. I also ordered onion rings which kind of looked home made but tasted frozen. My boyfriend ordered chocolate chip pancakes with ham and eggs he said the ham was really good! Overall he said he liked what he got. It was kind of expensive for what it was! But we tipped good anyway! Its a cute little diner!
A great breakfast and lunch place. One member of our party had lunch, the other three had Chocolate Pancakes, French Toast, and Banana Pancakes. Everyone clened their plate the food was delicious. The building is small seating wise, but was neatly decorated. We will be back again.
Cute little diner. Emphasis on little. I didnt count chairs, but 20 people would probably leave this place packed. Was pretty slow at 9 AM on a week day.Menu was small but covered the basic breakfast spread. More expensive than a comparable meal from Garretts Mill, or even a Dennys but not so much that Id skip out on this place. My scrambled eggs looked like they were done on a flat top grill. The bacon was very crispy but not burnt. The hash browns seemed home made. I suspect they were fresh instead of frozen.Looks like some local artwork on the walls along with cute art, knick knacks, and a chandelier.Food was quick. Cookies were great. Tiny glass for my orange juice. Id go for a coffee or tea in the future.
My husband and I love going to Flurys! Weve tried quite a few breakfast places but this is the only one we refer to as our place. The staff have always been beyond friendly and the food is always delicious. If you want a quaint, nifty little breakfast diner, you should totally stop here!
Very disappointing. Service was ok. Coffee and water were served in tiny cups which required effort to get refilled. The food was not worth the price or wait. The plating was non-existent. Pancakes didnt even come with butter. A sandwich that costs $7 should come with a few chips or at least an entire pickle. Prices were much too high across the board. I couldnt recommend this place to anyone. The second star is because the atmosphere is cute.
This place is like a diner out of the movies. Its on a downtown corner, its quaint, but more: the food is great for breakfast and sandwich options, and the people and service are fantastic. If you ever happen to catch them with fresh gingerbread cookies, get them despite the slightly steep price. The pumpkin pancakes are also the best Ive had.The high prices and inflexible menu keep this from being five stars for me.
We are from pittsburgh. Went for lunch because reviews where good. Ordered soup, cod sandwich, both where terrible. Cod was very small and burnt. Service was horrible. No one asked how food was took 30 minutes to get waited on. The waitress never came back to table after taking order. The young man that brought food took my money never asked why I didnt eat my soup or sandwich. Paid $11.00 for food I didnt eat. Maybe I should have ordered breakfast .Sarah
I have enjoyed this spot for sometime. Great friendly wonderful owner who , when chance provided, will stop and say hi to you with a courteous coffee refill. Great conversational decor and employee associates , some have worked at Flurys since its inception at the Portage&Front Street location , all serves up to a pleasant experience . Very tasty meals in regards to price. I love the banana cakes and chorizo . Good coffee to. Its nice to have a good place to go to with reasonable eatery prices in the Cuyahoga Falls/Front Street area . Thanks to all who make it happen.
I love Flurys! Theyre just as great after moving from their old historical location (my 73 year-old father remembers bicycling there as a kid) to the new location on Front St (with more seating, yay!). Its still a great little breakfast and lunch place. And now theres street-side parking on Front St, so its easier to drop in.
This is an awesome little diner with good home cooked food. I had the eggs benedict and they were good. The poached eggs were a bit overcooked but the hollandaise sauce was very good. The hashbrowns were a bit soft but not bad tasting. The pumpkin pie was great and so was the coffee. Only problem is that they dont offer Splenda or Equal, just Sweet & Low. Not very good. Still I wouldnt mind going back again for breakfast. Would not recommend this place for parties of more than four people. They had very limited seating because its a small intimate place and two counters.
This place is amazing. If you have never been there it is easy to drive by it; it is a very unsuspecting place. It is fairly small inside but the food is outstanding. I usually get the pancakes for breakfast and they always turn out great. Im always trying to go here more often as the price is pretty fair too.
This is one of our familys favorite places to go. We always have a good time and the food is great! I have Celiac disease so everything has to be gluten free and I have to be very cautious of cross-contamination or I get so sick that its like food poisoning. Ive never had a single problem after eating here. I just tell them and they take care of me. Its a relief to know Im safe eating here. Thanks for that! I truly appreciate it.
Great food. Great people. Got to meet the owner and I can display my art there; like this place is just totally awesome. Clean bathrooms. Only fault I could find if I had to find one would be I wish the staff was more bubbly/energetic. 5 stars nonetheless. I love this place
The small little cafe in the corner of Portage Trail and front street, has such delicious food that both vegans and non vegans will enjoy, the cafe also has amazing art for sale and to look at. So if you and some friends and family want to enjoy some delicious brunch in Cuyahoga Falls, I recommend Flurys Cafe.
First thing I noticed is that they have moved locations on me?!? But hey change is the only constant in life right... Second thing the food is so awesome that I would commit crimes so heinous that even my own my dog. Which is supposed to be mans best friend, wouldnt be able to vote non guilty if on a jury against me. One more thing BANANA PANCAKES!!!!!!!!
Disappointed that you decided to change location. Food was always fabulous now its just a little bit more difficult to get to even though its right on the corner. Wish you the best of luck Flurys! I will get there as much as I can and still tell my friends its great!!

2021-09-12Stopped by for breakfast simply based on the many great reviews and that we wanted to to something new. Very glad we did. This place is very small. Only a few tables and some bar seats. So please be prepared to wait. There are a few tables outside of the weather is good.Service was excellent as well as the food. My wife had the chicken fried steak and i had the veggies omelet with chorizo (which meant it was no longer a veggie). My son ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. The omelet was extremely tasty. I had a home made biscuit with strawberry/jalapeño jelly....YUM!I love trying different breakfast spots out... but this one I am sure I will be back!

2021-08-10Awesome little cozy diner in a great location. I loved the atmosphere with all of their plants and knick knacks throughout. The food was also very good. Without a doubt, the best fried green tomatoes Ive had yet. My only complaints were that the dining room was pretty small, so more than likely youll have to wait to be seated. Also the inside temperature was pretty warm for a hot day. Only minor complaints and well worth it in my opinion!

2022-02-09Cute, but tiny little diner on the main drag. Food was excellent. Portions were a reasonable size, which was refreshing, but some people may find it jarring. So many places serve pancakes the size of trash can lids these days that it was nice that they just brought my kids a regular sized one. Wait staff was extremely friendly. My only criticism is its a small place with a central, single front door so if cold bothers you perhaps wait for a spring visit.

2022-05-21Awesome food but I miss the best server! I believe her name was Maggie. She made the whole Flurys experience! We havent been back since she isnt there as much and she always went above and beyond. Have had a few poor experiences as of late. :( ah well. Good if you want cheap diner food! Small inside though, expect a bit of a wait.

2021-06-03I adore the quaint back in time feeling I get each time I eat here. This time the food was just “okay”. I had a breakfast quesadilla and a side of sausage gravy. I’ve had the gravy in the past and it was very good, everything from the texture to the consistent and the color. Today the consistency was runny, color was yellow and the taste surprisingly was decent but not great. Our server was fine, not overly friendly. I’ll always keep coming because nostalgic for me☺️

2022-05-11Just had breakfast there today May 11,2022. Ok so the place is tiny. You can’t take a group there. It’s a very nice place if there are two or three of you. The waitresses were very friendly and took care of us perfectly. I had the tomato pesto provolone omelette. It was very tasty and something different for me. It came with hash browns and choice of toast, muffin or biscuit. I chose the homemade biscuit. Soft and delicious. My wife had French toast and bacon. Bacon was crisp and flavorful and the French toast was very good. Mother in law had ham and eggs. The ham looked very good. She refused to share. If I had one complaint the potatoes could have been a bit more done but that’s it. I ate every bite so it’s not like they weren’t good. I also had the ginger turmeric tea. Wow. What a kick.I would definitely return. It was friendly fast and delicious.

2022-05-16The staff was very nice. The restaurant is small, but it was clean. I felt comfortable. They had smooth jazz playing. When I place my order initially, I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits with hash browns. Its didnt take long to come out. Unfortunately, this meal did not please my palette. On this occasion the gravy was very bland and weirdly had what seemed to be a cheesy consistency. The hash browns were dry. My meal came with eggs, I ordered them over medium. They poured the gravy on top of them. Needless to say, I was a little perplexed.I didnt think I would be able to stomach that meal, so they very kindly offered me to make another choice. I ordered the bacon, eggs and toast. This came out better by far. They have a menu for loose teas. I cant remember the flavor that I purchased, but it was good. I was given a nice amount. I was able to fill my tea cup twice easy. One think I observed was that the waiter, though very kind, chose to was her invisilign (sp?) teeth set at the sink in the dining area and sat them on the counter where I think you can also eat. That kinda disgusted me, but I turned a blind eye and continued my meal.Ultimately I think would give this business another try, this was my first time there and I do understand that not all days are your greatest.

2021-02-28Stopped here for breakfast during our Anniversary weekend and were pleasantly surprised! Usually good at places like this isn’t great. Greasy, etc. I had the specialty French toast with bacon and my husband had the eggs Benedict. They were both exceptional. Our waitress Maggie was so personable and a joy to have around. With so few seats, so many came and had to wait elsewhere, but I can say it was well worth a wait. We sat at the window bar and really enjoyed watching traffic pass in the rain. Can’t recommend highly enough!

2021-07-25Cool little spot, great staff and delicious food that was worth the wait...so dont cry about having to wait a bit...you can always go to the IHOP, I guess. (Loved that biscuit)
