Floor & Decor in other cities:
Found this Brazilian Teak butcherblock and thought it was going to be perfect based on the sample at the store. As you can see from the images below that the sample shows the butcher block varying in colors but within the very natural brown color family. The third photo is how it was after picking it up from store (sanded to raw finish), but then as I went to wipe it down before seasoning it(second picture), it immediately gave off a reddish hue (not at all what I wanted or what the sample picture from the store conveyed). Since it had already been installed to our island, I had to make do with what we had and instead of being able to use it as an actual butch block, we stained and seal it (first picture). A beautiful piece that we get a lot of comments about...just wished I would have know this before purchasing.
Great selection, wish they had more people to help though. NOTE: we returned 5 days later to purchase. We were helped quickly and paid. We then waited 1.5 hours to get our tile out to the car and loaded. There was only one customer ahead of us. I’ll NEVER come back here.
We’ve made multiple purchases at this location, and the experience has always been good, but I haven’t felt compelled to write a review until now. We purchased large format natural stone tile that turned out to have some defects. We were outside of the return window, and on top of that we had already cut some of the tiles. Despite these factors, this location refunded us in full for the purchase. We worked with Matthew who is the natural stone manager, who approved the return. This is pretty top notch customer service in our opinion. We will absolutely be back for future purchases and would not hesitate to recommend this store to others. Side note - They also have the best prices on Schluter products that we’ve found, including free in store pickup on special order items that are very costly to ship from other vendors. Thank you Matthew and thank you Floor and Decor.
I am a truck driver I was delivering a load here ,I come here 11.27 pm wait 1 hour the store was closed I check in back & front nobody was there ,I left I colled 10 in the store no body answer a phone .I showed in the morning they no want to take my load I took to manager they say you was not there they empty other truck at 11.30 pm but they lying because I was there &left at 12.39 am so gise be careful no respect for driver
My husband and I both had great experiences working with this location! He picked up supplies for our project and found them to be friendly and highly organized.I worked with one on one with Emily in their design team and would highly recommend her for anyone that is remodeling a kitchen or bathroom. She was absolutely incredible and made what felt like an overwhelming project, to be fun and exciting. Not to mention her expertise totally put me at ease. Thank you so much Emily Walkup! I could not have done this all without you, nor would I want to. If you have a project like mine, Emily is the professional you want to have at your side!!! My husband and I highly recommend this store.
What an amazing place. We are remodeling our bathroom and have been to several suppliers to look at shower tiles and floors and havent really found what we are looking for until now. This store has it all and then some. Well laid out with a huge selection. I cant comment on the price I just dont know enough so I went with 4 stars instead of 5. So take that into consideration, but a fantastic store none the less.
I was wasting my time looking for flooring at Lowes and Home Depot. Floor & Decor is the place to go. The selection is almost overwhelming. Huge, clean aisles of every kind of flooring you can think of. Customer service is great, too. Wesley Walker helped me find the type and the design that was just right. Highly recommend.
This store is a joke. I have been here for an hour and a half. My order was placed online and paid for when I came in. I knew how slow they are so I put all my tile and grout on the cart and proceeded to pro desk only to be told my order hadn’t been “pushed through” and to call customer care. After a 30 minute wait I finally got through only then to be told I need to drive around back. 35 minutes later I still have not been talked to about my order while I park here and watch employers just sit and smoke out back. Unreal the incompetency is allowed because they just don’t care. At this point I think it has to be purposely done. Nobody is this bad at their jobs. I stood thier with my cart for 30 minutes and he didn’t know???
A good place but didnt let my wife know they wrapped the floor model for her purchase (which had several dings and a scratch and some scrapped off paint). Overall pretty good. Nice selections of various materials. Will be going back again but will explicitly ask before buying things to ensure we got a new and not demo version.
Knowledgable employees, great stock of very affordable tile (and other flooring). Certainly the best location to find Schluter System supplies and knowledge. Even the return policy is quite generous. If youre in need of a bathroom or kitchen remodel youd be remiss to pass up Floor & Decor.
This Guys provide horrible customer service, I have a dispute opened with them Since last September 2020. we installed wood flooring and within Couple weeks we started seeing cracks in our floor.we opened the dispute with them, a certified inspector came and did what all he needed to do, it has been 7 months since then, we have not heard anything back from them. Buyers please be aware we spend close to 18K with our wood flooring and havent heard anything from this sham place. The lady called us and wanted to close the case by giving us 250$ just imagine what would have gone through our minds when we heard that, I didnt take it, they just say open a ticket at their customer care website you open the ticket and nothing happens. Not sure who is running this sham company.😢
Had a horrible experience with Lowe’s- a friend told me to go to here, as I was trying to find the trim I was looking for I only found 1. Matthew approached me very friendly and offered to help - he looked up the product, went and got it for me and it was a great conversation. Great people make great experience.
Didnt have the floors I wanted. I ordered them. Waited on floors for a month and they never came in..... nobody knew when they would be in. None of the associates were helpful , until I went to store and got my money back. Now that was easy , in and out no problem. Although, I did purchase with debit card so it took them 48 hours to credit my money back.
We were in the beginning stages of building a home in Texas while living in Columbus, Ohio. I have been working with Emily Walkup at the Hilliard, Ohio store for the last 6 months. There are not enough kind words to say about her. She has been amazing since day one. She is quick to respond, always available, very knowledgeable and so helpful. Now that we are living in Texas and in the building process, she has still been great about answering my questions. She is BEST and Floor and Decor should be proud/lucky to have her.
Floor and Decor has done it again. Ive had a couple appointments with Emily in the Design department and she is Awesome. She listened to my needs, we walked the floor and picked out likes. She gave me some great ideas I hadnt thought of, that were going with and also let me know if I was getting a little off track with my selections and I really, really appreciate that feedback and honesty. It shows me that she cares about the customers final product not to mention that she is a PRO... Shes probably forgotten more than Ill ever know about decorating and shes up on all of todays and tomorrows trends.Seriously... If you are remodeling and not 100% sure of exactly what you want... Why not take advantage of the Design Services? The price is right, you cant beat free. My next project is coming up and she will be finding me on her schedule. Were going to have some fun!Past review:Great Customer service! Carey at the Pro desk got us all set up for Pro Premier. Since were spending the money why not get the perks? My future flooring needs will be purchased at Floor & Decor on Fishinger Rd. 👍PJ, Project Manager for Central Ohio Real Estate Investment.
UPDATE:I was contacted by someone who wanted to settle for $500.00. Instead of disputing, I decided to accept. I accepted, but no one will return emails. As an FYI, we had water damage to our main floor...2000 square feet of flooring we will be replacing, but not with this company. Very disappointed. They dont stand by their word. We installed approximately 1500sq feet of AquaGuard flooring in our basement. We were told by our contractor and the store these floors were water resistant. They both said if our basement flooded, it would withstand the water. A few weeks ago, we had water leak in from outside. It was a small amount and under the flooring. Within 30 minutes, the flooring started to peel up and now looks warped. I spoke with my contractor who told me, hed installed miles of this flooring and had only one other similar situation. He said to call the store and theyd work with me. I spoke to the manager, who told me theyd do nothing. I could, however, contact the corp office customer service escalations. The email was sent back as undeliverable. Ive been trying to contact someone who will help us to no avail.
Unfortunately, I need to change my previous positive review of this location. We have shopped here numerous times for projects at several homes we have remodeled. I can only assume that management has become a problem. My last visit here about 2 weeks ago, I was returning in some wood flooring that I purchased. As I approached the register, it was easy to see that the employee helping me was not having a good day. She was quick to tell me that I could not have store credit for my purchase and could only credit what card was originally charged, which was a Visa gift card that I no longer had in my possession. Then she was rude to customers on the phone and complained to another associate about her day as we waited on a manager to help us. After he told her to give me a store gift card, she handed it to me and then rudely complained about customers who use these cards, while using foul language as I walked away.If the manager helping out had not been busy, I would have immediately spoken to him, but there was a long line when I left. I contacted the corporate office about my experience. They contacted the manager twice and I never received any sort of apology or response about my terrible customer service. This is totally unacceptable and I will not return to this location due to extremely poor management.
Great selection (especially the NuCore brand). Was just wandering around and one of the reps introduced himself and gave us the rundown of the flooring we were looking at. He mentioned that the reps dont work on commission so he would help us find the flooring we needed not the one he would make the most money on.Office with the new flooring is almost finished and we love it.
The store has many great flooring and decor options to choose from; however, a majority of the store staff could use some serious training in good customer service. I have never witnessed such horrible service towards customers. Not just my own personal experience, but while waiting for 4th time to finally get all of my $5,000 order I witnessed some ridiculously rude behavior by staff towards customers! Again, love the store options but be ready for some unacceptable behavior by rude staff. It’s apparent they hate their job!
Good prices. Good selection. Its worth the extra trip if you are doing a project instead of buying everything at one of the normal big-box stores. Its pretty much just tile and flooring and anything you would need to complete one of those jobs (meaning tools and supplies). So the decor doesnt mean youre gonna find a lamp or curtains there.Customer service is marginal. I bought a piece of molding there that was 12 foot long and asked them to cut it in half for me so I could fit it in my car and they couldnt... but they did offer to sell me a saw. If the chicks running the cash register tried to help me with a solution instead of standing around cracking jokes Id give the store five stars.
We found Floor and Decor to have prices that beat their local competitor and superior service. What impressed me the most was their very helpful employees. Emily and Brandon are two excellent examples, they went above and beyond what one would expect. Emily is smart, polite, and willing to help with any chore no matter how difficult. Do not let her petite size deceive you, shes one strong lady! Among many other helpful things, she loaded our tile for us. I went back for some amenities that I decided add to my project. Brandon spent a long time checking inventory, consulting with fellow employees and physically searching through all the bins to find one small and relatively inexpensive piece that I needed to complete my job.Bottom line is, Floor & Decor has a quality product at a decent price and excellent customer service.
Tried calling every single line, every prompt to find out if store had electric carts for people with mobility issues. No answer at either Hilliard or Reynoldsburg locations. Tried several times. Nothing on website to show answer either. Guess people with disabilities/mobility issues cant shop here.
Huge store front for flooring. The prices are great and the selection is amazing. I drove 4 hours to visit the store. I had purchased a few samples online and when it came time to purchase the shipping was $250 so for me it was worth the drive. Once I arrived I noticed several other out of state plates in the parking lot so it obviously draws a large crowd.
Went in to find a box of peel and stick mosaic. Turns out they didnt have it yet. They were able to call another state that did have it, unfortunately it was out of state, but shipping was really good. So they were able to set up the order and have it shipped to my house. Great customer service!
I’m a contractor that does a lot of work in the area. I am very disappointed with the pro department and how they take care of their customers. Their delivery service fork lift operator ran into the garage on one of our projects. I was assured by the manager I would be taken care of. After well over a month of following up nothing has been done. You can buy tile anywhere. Buy it from somewhere who stands behind their customers.
Your typical warehouse-style shopping experience. Large displays of many products, however, the selection is limited to flooring and bathroom/kitchen tiling options. Staff was helpful and in an hour I was asked by no less than three Associates if I needed assistance. Overall a pleasant shopping experience.
I wish I had read the reviews regarding loading time. We have waited 35 minutes to have the floor loaded in our truck. When we asked the loader where was the rest of our order , his reply was some one else has it. Other than the slow load time I would shop here again. Very helpful professional team in the store. Great selection and prices.
Wow! I was really impressed with this place. It wasnt just that there were an astonishing number of flooring products, but also bathroom tile, back-splash tile, counter-tops, etcI was also really impressed with the customer service. I spoke to Brandon and he really went above and beyond in answering my questions and helping me choose the right flooring product. We probably talked for 20 to 25 minutes (it was a slow night). Then, at the cash register, we had another great conversation with the attendant there (whose name escapes me right now).10/10 - would shop again.
It’s a very nice place in a nice strip mall on the north west side of Columbus. Their selection is pretty good but a little limited and that’s why the four out of five stars. It’s very clean well organized and the prices are great. I’ve been here both during the day and evening time when it gets dark and this place is safe. The lighting outside will make you feel safe and seeing cop cars patrol occasionally as to the level of comfort
Great selection! Bought beautiful tile for our kitchen and laminate flooring for the basement. My favorite part of my shopping experience was working with in-house designer Corinna. Both a great designer and super knowledgeable about materials and construction, she walked us through our entire kitchen design. We couldn’t have been happier!
My husband and I are redoing a bathroom starting with the shower and walked in completely clueless. Matthew walked us through everything and made sure we had everything we need for the project. We had a similar experience when we bought our flooring a few years ago. This place is excellent and everyone is extremely helpful!
They have just about everything you woud need to replace flooring and adding tile work. It was difficult to find anyone to assist us... the one employee we did locate appeared to be speaking with an acquaintance that happened by. We were happy with the product we bought but we didnt get any help so if you know what you want and know how much you need, its a good place to shop.
I am registered as Pro at Floor and Decor and have sent all of my clients there for years...but never again. I have issues every single time with every order one way or another, but this last client, a 1.2 million dollar home, nearly every single aspect of the order was incorrect. They shorted us half of the tile needed to complete one shower so we had to drive 100 miles to the nearest location to get enough to finish half of the shower, then changed the design using other colors so it could be finished. We only recieved one box, yes, I said one box of the tile needed for a 90 square foot tub surround. If you have read this far, keep reading, it gets better. We bought 200 square feet of tile for a basement floor and of course the store barely had enough due to half of the boxes being damaged. The associates loaded them up (still 4 boxes with not a single viable tile) and we were on our way to tile through the night. We finished at 7 a.m. and when the sunlight hit it, 3 different colors of the same tile emerged. The store manager then told us it was our fault, not their fault and they didnt refund the bad tile, but instead sold us flooring at half price to cover it. 4.5 baths and 500 plus square foot of flooring purchased. For this project. Never again. Every. Single. Aspect. Of this project had some type of mistake. I am a patient person and laugh it off when it takes the warehouse two hours to put a pallet on my truck because they are understaffed. I joke with the pro desk that I have never been in the store less than three hours to purchase anything more than a bag of mortar. Never again. I brought you my highest end client ever and your store manager just looked him in the eye and told him it was his fault. When you break it down, it was my clients fault. He trusted me and I sent him to Floor and Decor. Never again.Edit. Two months later and I have yet to receive that call from customer service mentioned below.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with store employees on shift!!!!! Minimum of 2 hours trying to find samples and I could NOT get any of the three employees to assist.Phoned store manager next morning and I was told that she would send the samples that I could not locate myself and was very apologetic. Although I very much appreciate the help of the store manager the next day, it was still a VERY poor (in-store) experience. If it werent for how far I traveled and the amount of time I had to search inventory without assistance, I would give a higher rating.
I got put in a pinch by my contractors last night and needed some stone to finish a fireplace and came to Flooring and Decor as they had options in stock. I came from about 45 minutes away and it was close to closing time. I was helped very easily and I wanted to again thank the warehouse manager the absolute most. She made everything super easy and worked with me knowing I traveled a while and the situation I was in. Working in retail in the past I know how things can be especially close to closing. What the employees did not know is that this is the first room of a 3200 sq ft house (not including basement) that we arencomplately remodeling and based on our experience and their reasonable prices, we will definitely be back. Thanks again for making my night and keeping my contractors happy and on schedule!!
The place to go for everything floor related. We have gotten our flooring here. They have a ton of choices and will walk you through all the options. They have high quality to mid range options. They can help you find what you want in your price range. Great option if you are looking to remodel.
If your looking for flooring you really have to start your search here. We had been looking to replace our kitchen floor with tile and shopped all the big box stores. We found many decent options but the better quality was always out of our price range unless it was a closeout and then there wasnt enough quantity. The difference in the amount of tile available was astounding and we were able to get the quality in the price range we were looking for. All of the rest of the items like thinset, grout, tools, etc are all around the same price as the big box stores.
Their selection and service is fine. They are willing to sell during this time but they will not take returns right now. So DO NOT BUY MORE THAN YOU NEED if you just expect them to take returns right now. They wont. So be warned. It is only on their website and not mentioned at material pickup.
We went to this store looking for a specific flooring we had seen on the website. We found an associate to help us. When we told him what we was looking for he informed us that it wasnt available at that store. He said not everything you see on the website is available at the store and then proceeded to show us similar items that cost significantly higher than what we intended to purchase. After leaving without a purchase, my husband called to inquire which store in our area had what we wanted. None in our state. The website should make it easier to see whats offered at locations in close proximity not whats offered somewhere across the country. Very disappointing to say the least.
Very helpful isle workers. Good store overall but as a contractor that spends a lot of money here 15min wait time to check out is unsatisfactory to say the least. Time is money.Make that 20min wait.Note to management... Have more workers that are crossed trained to work the checkout, please!!!
Not reliable! We found a Premium floor system, at premium price that we liked at Floor & Decor. The local store was missing the trim. We were about ready to head to one of the other big box stores to see what they had, when the sales person said they could have it shipped from one of other stores. She call the the stores and confirmed they had it. We bought the floor We paid to have the other parts shipped. They said it they be ready for pickup on 7 days later 12/30/1.Its now 1/8/2017. I called the store. The sales person said. The key item has not shipped and the other item just shipped. I talked to the manager with his response was, you were told what the status is. My response was can you call and see why it has not shipped and when it will ship.At this time if I dont get the parts, I will have to rip up the premium flooring I put down. Never shop here again.
Worst loading experience in the history of building supply stores. Customer service on product knowledge is good, but if you order more than 5-6 boxes of anything theyll recommend you pay upfront and pull around and pickup in the back. Welcome to hell. Youll sit there for 30-45 min while they pull your boxes (and thats with no one else waiting) then its another 10-15 min of loading. Good place to kill an afternoon. Very disorganized and very slow service. Main reason I prefer Lowes and Home Depot, but then enough time goes by and I forget and fall back into the same trap.
This is the absolute best place to purchase your flooring and other decor needs. The prices are always competitive, and you don’t have to wait for a President’s Day Sale to get sturdy and affordable flooring. The best part is that the flooring is much thicker than a place like Lowe’s or Lumber Liquidators and much higher quality. When we got samples from others stores to compare the thickness, there was no hesitation on which place had the best flooring.
I bought back splash. I was told I needed edge molding. I ask the guy... because I have no idea what that is or what I need. I show him THE EXACT tile I’m using. He takes me to the aisle with it and tells me the world is my oyster. I can have any kind I like... whatever suits me. He works there... I don’t. I trust his professional opinion. So I get a piece. I take it home. My husband installs it. We are first timers, not very sure of ourselves. We get the whole dang thing done and I look at it that evening and say... huh, that edging looks ridiculous. Come to find out the nitwit that works there sold us floor transition NOT EDGE MOLDING. He never freaking told me any of what he was showing me wasn’t for the edge of my backsplash. Fabulous. I now feel stupid, our project is now screwed up because the guy that helped us doesn’t know his product, and I have to go back tomorrow to figure out the right stuff. I’ll have wasted plenty of tile that will likely break when we try to remove and replace the floor transition, and 16.00 on the wrong molding, however much it will take to make it right and a WHOLE LOT if time and patience. I’m so freaking ticked off. Not to mention, I had already gone back today already to pick up my floor tile and their pick up operation in the back was an absolute cluster. I’ll never buy from here again. I’m seriously tempted to return my floor tile and get my money back. This place is the worst. Know your product for gods sake, especially when people count on you to tell them since you’re the professionals.
Unreliable 1000%I place an order on July 22 2017 and today is September 2th 2017 no one has bother to me I came to the store this and the tile was here, only a 10% of I have payed for.The guy at the warehouse told the was going to take about an hour before I was able to get the tile while the tile was next his desk and got rude after I told the it was no need for one hour wait, Im able to load it on my truck. So, Im very disappointed on this type of customer service, I do run a business and its no need to be rude.
The employees here are so helpful!!! Whenever we needed help, there was somebody there and we never had to go looking for an employee. They went above and beyond for us and made shopping so much easier. One employee even offered to help us load our order even though they were closing. I highly recommend this place!!!!
They will say ANYTHING to get you in the store. They say they will price match. but they dont even match their on line prices. They wanted $198 for 18 lbs of grout that 2 other stores sale for $120. They were the only store to have the color in stock on the day I needed it. They sold it to me for $160, no price match. Then I seen a 3x6 tile I needed for a back splash on line for 39 cents a piece. I called the day before to double check the price and quality on hand and was confirmed twice. once by the manager who check on the computer then by a sales clerk who physically checked . The day I go to pick it up it was $1.19 a piece. Bait and switch masters. I have been installing tile for over 25 years and my customer ask me where they should go. I will not only NEVER refer them to this store I will not even install tile from this store ----- minus 5 stars
Great selection of different types of flooring, including natural stones, tile and wood! Everyone there was very helpful and was able to help me know more about my project and what materials I would need to complete it! A wonderful experience that I recommend to anyone doing any home renovations.
My Husband and I have a remodeling company and have had 2 very disappointing occasions with picking up pre-ordered materials. The first was about 2 months ago, at approximately 8:00 am, where upon arrival to the back pick up counter, we waited no less than 15 minutes to be greeted by the man behind the counter who was glued to his computer screen. Once we gave him the order number another 15 minutes went by with no activity of anyone retrieving our order. Finally, after asking what was going on, another 25 minutes elapsed before we were loaded and on our way. A 55 minute pick up experience was entirely too long. The 2nd experience was this past Thursday, July 19th. We ordered approximately $2700 worth of materials online on Monday July 16th. Materials were all in stock and supposedly ready for pick up the next day. My husband called ahead on Thursday, the 19th at noon and spoke to Brad. He said nothing was pulled for the order yet but was assured he would have it ready in 2 hours. My husband arrived at 3:00, giving more than enough time, and nothing was ready for pick up. My husband then grabbed a cart and recruited Austin, who was a great help, to help gather materials. Eventually, Anthony came to help as well and all materials were loaded in the truck and he was out the door in an absurd amount of time of 2 hours. We arent blaming the staff for this mix up; ultimately, it is the managements responsibility to train the staff to execute basic duties to make the store run efficiently. My husband saw no less than 2 to 4 employees nonchalantly wandering about the store who could have easily been asked by Brad to pull an order that should have been ready on Tuesday, the day after the online order. We gave a 1 star rating only because of Austins and Anthonys help but the overall rating is for the Floor Decor in general. If it werent for their help, a negative rating would be appropriate, if available. Our company completes several bathrooms, kitchens and room additions per year and almost all require some type of tile and/or flooring materials. We have shopped here before and sometimes recommend Floor Decor to our customers. However, after this last occasion of lost time and great frustration, we are no longer recommending Floor Decor for anything. Matter of fact, we will discourage any of our customers from shopping there. Quite honestly, we can get similar and better quality materials from other suppliers. The supposed savings arent worth the hassle and lost time and wages to get a deal. Might be good for the average homeowner if they have A LOT of time to kill. Definitely not for a professional contractor.
Like to experience people are nice but when looking for someone to help you not a lot of people to help you Im sure they would if you went out and told them at the register more of a craft store than anything they have a lot of things though like pots and pans maybe something you need thats already been discontinued in toys
Low prices with poor customer service. We ordered 7,000+ worth of hardwood flooring. At the time we placed the order we were told it would be there for pick up in a week. Called back a week later and they said it would be ANOTHER 2 weeks! So, 3 weeks after we placed the order I called again. The response: we didnt get it all in yet, it will be another week until the rest of the order. Bottom line the money saved on the cost of the floor is not worth the extra time it wasted us. Ended up delaying our project by THREE WEEKS! I could have bought twice as much flooring for what it cost in hotel bills while I wasnt able to live in my house with no floors. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
If I could I’d give Floor and Decor a zero I would. I have been dealing with them since April of 2017 and it has been nothing short of a disaster. First time we arrived at the store we should’ve just left and never looked back. We purchased nearly $5,000 in flooring from this “company.”The day we purchased our floor and were loading we had to wait over an hour for assistance to receive the floor we purchased. When we showed up at the loading docks we were told we were going to have to wait even longer - absolutely not, we loaded every box ourselves and left as we live almost 2 hour away and spent half our day there already.Second issue, we get home and notice the sales associate sold us the wrong transition pieces when we specifically told him we would be using them to transition from the 2 floors we purchased that day. So then we had to order online a piece that they didnt have in the store. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. The piece I needed they cant even find, I had to call corporate to figure out the SKU # to tell the associate at the Dublin store what to enter - just sad that a customer has to do the employees job. Then I never get a shipping confirmation on the piece (stair nose). So I call the store and they cant find my order to track it. By this point I know their game, its always a joke so I call corporate whos supposed to call the manager at the Dublin store who then is supposed to call me and confirm where my order is after a month - no answer. I call the manager back and he apologizes but my order has no solution. Another 2 weeks go by and I call the Dublin store, after I was told they would call me when my order was in, my order had been sitting there nearly a week.Thank the Lord I thought this is the last time I have to deal with these people I pick up my stair nose in Dublin because they cant ship items and I live 2 hours away.Of course not, our brand new floor 7 months in (Nov 2017) begins cracking and the joints are all busted in this new floor we purchased (manufacturer issue) So I call the claims department and file a claim. It is over a month before I get a response and Im not one who lets things go I called, left voicemails, sent emails and no one responded. Finally, after a month I get a response that they need further information, which they receive within 24 hours.Again I dont hear from them from Dec 4, 2017 to Dec 29, 2017 which in the meantime I call the district rep for claims and another claims contact no one answers, or returns emails. Also found it funny that the customer service guy who answered the phone says Yeah, youre not the first person to say they cant get ahold of anyone so what does that tell you?I then receive an email in Dec. 29 that claims sent stating they could send out a person for an inspection or refund us for our purchase in store credit or check form. I state my preference as being check form as I am so done dealing with them its unbelievable. Here I am Janaury 15, no response confirming they received my email per refund requests. I have made several attempts to reach out to them and I have no refund check.DO NOT support this company, their customer service is terrible and they cant even do their jobs. I am a fair and honest person and have given this company a fair chance before writing this review. I will never purchase another item from this company and I suggest you dont either. They are so insensitive to their customers its such a joke. Wish I wouldve read more into company reviews before I had purchased from them.I hope this review saves you headaches and financial pains!
Never again!! No everyone can wear mask due to health issue! Education to staff is a must! Can’t do curb side if I don’t know what flooring I want! Common sense goes a long way!!!! In the past I have spent thousands of dollars there and you lost a loyal customer I will never be back!!!
The ONLY reason this isnt a 5 star is because upon entering the store there were 4-5 employees standing around talking amongst themselves in the front of these store when we walked in (and right past them) not one said Hello or asked us if we needed help finding anything or had any questions. After we walked around aimlessly for about 20 minutes and tried to make sure we were in the right area for what we were looking for, we ran into Phillip. He completely turned our experience around with AMAZING advice, product knowledge, and real life recommendations. He was AWESOME! If all the employees here are as kind, helpful and knowledgeable as Phillip then, yay!! We ended up taking samples home and will most likely be back to buy from Floor and Decor. Thanks Phillip!
When I ordered delivery, they neglected to tell me it was curbside only and refused to refund the delivery charge because the information was on tiny print at the bottom of my email receipt. When my contractor picked up countertops from store, they gave him two different types of countertops and wood. They loaded and didnt ask him to check order. But Store Manager fixed things and refunded delivery charge. Good service after problems.
Worst experience yet. Systems were down waited inline for 45 mins for them to tell me they cant do returns. Went and got the items I wanted to buy came back and waited for another 30 mins. Absolutely not alright. Employees need to be more vocal about what is going on as most guys are in there on the clock. If i could give them a zero star i would. Florida tile and tile Shoppe here i come.
The good:Prices, polite people. The bad:Ordered mosaic tile, that had to be shipped from another store. The item was never shipped after many calls and misinformation was told that store ran out and it must be popular. They were perfectly apologetic and I get that mistakes occur its how they get resolved. They said they would order it from a different store and have it overnighted (2 day again), to be received no later than Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and I am being told that it is being shipped today ,overnight and should be received no later than Thursday. Again this is requiring alot of calls by me and I have no trust that I am going to get the tile that I ordered and paid for after multiple promises from them. The learn:If they dont have it in the store, dont expect them to get it especially on time. Dont expect follow through because it is rare if not non existent.
Great prices on tile. Everything is on site, no need to wait for it to be ordered/arrive.CAUTION: The employee I talked to who worked in the tools/thinset/grout section gave me completely incorrect information for installing Ditra (recommended unmodified thinset under the membrane over plywood and recommended the wrong trowel size). Luckily I had done the research beforehand and knew to disregard his suggestions. I also asked where to find the grout additive and he instead suggested I use Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA which is rapid set (he didnt notify me of this) and would have been a disaster. I found the additive in another isle. Great place to BUY tile, steer clear of their advice.EDIT (due to owner response): You and I have done the research and understand the products mentioned and how to install them, unfortunately the employee in your store on that day did not. I knew I needed a V notch trowel for Ditra over the substrate but couldnt recall the correct size. He pointed to the 5/32x3/16 V notch. I asked him what thinset is recommended between the ply and Ditra, to confirm the Ultraflex 2 on my cart was appropriate, he stated unmodified was needed. I knew this was incorrect and stated I needed modified over the ply and he again stated unmodified. After his grout recommendation our conversation was over and I confirmed my purchases (modified between ply and Ditra, unmodified between Ditra and tile) was correct with the Ditra install guide. Trowel size was also different than F&D recommended. As for grout for a DIYer with some experience I dont want rapid set. I told the employee I just wanted the additive for stain resistance. He recommended Ultracolor as grout with stain resistance built in, failing to mentioning the rapid set properties. Selling me grout with half the pot life of Keracolor S could have caused some headaches.Love the store, selection and prices.
They called the police on me for LEGALLY opting not to wear a mask!Whether you agree with the mask mandate or not, most businesses stillrecognize and respect that there are legal exclusions in the orders. The exclusions include things such as medical conditions, childrenunder a certain age, religous beliefs, people exercising, people eating, etc.The Executive order signed by the Mayor here locally (identical to mostevery other citys and states orders) also states that whenever a customerin a store exerts said exemptions that they should not be required to producedocumentation or any other proof of a condition, and that Businesses andorganizations are entitled to rely on their customers or patrons statementsabout whether or not they are excepted from the Face Covering requirements, andbusinesses and organizations do not violate this Executive Order if they relyupon such statements. That last part is basically relieving the business ofany potential fine or liability for not complying with the mandate when a customerchooses to exercise their RIGHTS.But earlier today Floor and Decor chose to ignore all of that by trampling all overmy personal medical rights and civil liberties by picking and choosing which partsof the Executive Order they would have their employees enforce based on their ownpersonal beliefs, laws be damned! The incident began immediately upon walking into the store. When the cashiernoticed that my friend and I were not wearing masks she stated that we must putthem on to enter the store. I told her that I had a medical condition thatprevented me from wearing one, and my friend had Religous beliefs that preventedher from wearing one. This should have been the end of the conversation as it hasbeen with every other store Ive entered without a mask, and every other storethat actually complies with the mandate in its entirety. The cashier basically said that she didnt care and repeated again that we should leave, and that she was calling a manager. Assuming that the manager would know that I waswithin my rights, and because I had driven a long distance to get here, I told thecashier that the manager could find me in the Vinyl flooring section if he wishedto discuss the matter further, expecting that I would probably never really see him.To my surprise, the manager did appear a few minutes later. He again asked us toput the masks on or leave the store. We again exercised our exemption rights underthe Executive Order, and he again asked us to leave stating that Floor and Decor hadother alternatives to shopping in person. It was at this point that I asked my friend to turn on her cell phone video. Whilerecording, I asked the manager a very specific question, Are you denying us the rightto shop because of my medical condition or my friends religous beliefs, both exempt fromthe mask mandate, or may we continue to shop peacefully? For the camera, the managerstated that we may continue to shop without any further intimidation. That was great news, that was all we wanted! At this point though things were obviously a little awkward, so we really just wantedto finish our shopping and get out of there as quickly as possible because we felt likenow every single employee was staring at us like we were Lepers.Little did we know that after being told by the Manager that we could shop in peace, andafter allowing us to check out and spend our money, that the police would be waiting onus once we walked outside, like we were the ones that had committed a crime simply byasking the store keepers to respect and honor our rights under the law!See photo attachment for rest of review, Google has a number of characters limit
I went here recently for a living room shelf installation that we were potentially looking for a countertop for. I was surprised at how large the store itself was and was sure that Id be able to find what I was looking for based on that, but was extremely disappointed in the selection options for a smaller sized slab of granite. There were maybe only 10 in the area that I looked in. Maybe they had more somewhere else, but I couldnt get the attention of a staff member to even ask. I went elsewhere.
A friend who has built hundreds of homes in the Marysville, OH area for over 50 years recommended Floor & Decor. How right he was! From October 2015 to now, January 2016 we had nothing but the best help in upgrading our 27-year-old kitchen, from the sales people on the floor to the clerks on the cash register. We especially want to mention Mike who sat down with us and our kitchen plan and answered many questions and calculated the amount we needed. We asked if he knew who could install the floor for us. He recommended Larry Ferst Floors to install the floor. Wow! So impressed with Larry and his crew, Vincent, and Corey. They were simply the best and we would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! The proof is in the finer details and this is where they really shined! There were lots of doorways and a few tricky places (well, tricky to us) that were finished to perfection!. They arrived when they promised, and finished the job of over 400 sq. ft. in less than three days.
I went yesterday to get about 140 sq.ft. of slate tile to do a fireplace hearth. Tile was less than the big box stores, and they were very helpful. Helped me pick the tile, grout, backer board, sealants, tools, everything I needed to DIY this project. Purchased the tile and drove around back and they loaded it up.
I thoroughly like this place. Great way to go look at anything flooring in person. Have a huge selection of time. Some bad brands, some awesome brands. You have to be pretty knowledgeable on the trade to be effective here. Some prices arent great and some are steals.
As a tile professional I find the level of service that the pros here provide is outstandinh. They go out of their way to help you out. Any question you have they will answer. Any problems you have they can solve. Check them out and use their knowledge to your advantage
Bought over 25 boxes of solid hickory hard wood (3/4 thickness & 5 width) floor for my new house. The planks come in various lengths. Unfortunately, half of the the biggest planks are defect. They are bowing and therefore unable to be installed. I wish I had never purchased it from here. The big planks are supposed give it a nicer look but in my case my contractor was unable to use the long planks. Waste of ~$3k.Bad quality, not just the long boards, but over all...shouldve paid extra and bought it elsewhere...No one follows up like they said they would.
There seems to be a lot of people complaining about the service. I have made four separate purchases for four separate ceramic and porcelain installations and have always been treated well and in a timely fashion. The staff at the Hilliard location is helpful and knowledgeable and the prices and selection very good.
Horrible service. Ordered till 3 weeks ago. Still dont have it- it was coming from Cincinnati to Columbus....h wait that was last weeks excuse. Now from there stoughre in TNHolding up bathroom remodeling project. I have had to call them every step of the way. CCOMMUNICATIONAll $$ refunded- tile in hand!
This is a very sad store I’m a contractor I spend a lot of money in this place I called and asked for a donation for an 84 year old woman that fell and broke her hip she has been in rehab for 2 months now I donated the laminate flooring and ceramic for her bathroom to build a new custom shower over the night someone went into her house and stood 2000 worth of my tools and the mastic and padding I asked if they could donate the padding and mastic and they basically laughed in my face I will never do business with them again or recommend anyone to buy from them

2022-06-12I enjoy this store about as much as you can enjoy a tile store. Several associates stopped to ask if I needed assistance. And when I nade my choice they loaded the cart for me. Very helpful and a large selection of tile @ VERY REASONABLE PRICES.

2020-01-04They have a web presence but I found the flooring I wanted and thought I couldnt afford by showing up and walking through the isles. I got great ideas for my next project too! They often have a clearance bundles, sometimes high end flooring, dirt cheap. The staff is awesome and extremely helpful.

2022-02-04After spending three hours at the Reynoldsburg location leaving extremely frustrated; I decided to try the Hilliard location out for a fresh start the next day. I will say this location is THE BEST! Literally everyone I asked for assistance no matter what department I was in, was extremely helpful. I came back a few more times and each time I have been 100% satisfied with their customer service. Heather that works in their pro service area was literally the perfect person to assist me in my bathroom remodel. From tiling choices to jolly types to backsplash ideas, grout options... etc she spent the time assisting me with it all! I appreciate all of their help. No doubts will I only shop at this location in the future

2019-08-18There are so many choices for tile it is hard to choose. Their displays are set up to help you find the perfect tile and grout color for whatever your situation. I pass so many other stores selling the same items to shop at floor and decor every time. Never a disappointment!
