Its a love-hate relationship with this place. The foods good the service is good but man the prices are high.
You can never go wrong with burgers and fries at Five Guys. Meal was very good. Only thing is the price, a little steep for burgers and fries.
I was in Newark over the weekend and decided to check it out. It was worth the walk, wait, and the rather large expense. I got a large fry, and they filled a whole brown paper bag with fries. Their were too many for me and one of my friends to tackle. It was worth the 6.79. My other friend got a burger, which he spent almost 10$ for. Steep prices, yeah, but he said it was a good burger for the price. They also give you free peanuts while you wait for your food. Overall it was a very good visit. If you have money and your going through Newark, I highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was great... prices are to high. And if u want to build ur own it costs more. Wont be back...
First as a farmer who has butchered my own beef and grown my own potatoes this food taste as fresh it gets. But its nothing special to merit the crazy prices. ** warning ** my wife who is deathly allergic to onion had cross contamination in her burger and had to be watched. NOT HAPPY . Going back to Steak and Shake.
The older lady that works at the counter was so rude, kept yelling at me and just being a horrible person and very disrespectful she expected me to know the menu... And she order me something I didnt even want .. dont go to this five guys its horrible.. breads soggy, threw an entire large fry in the bag instead of in a fry cup . Go to Columbus if you want to go to a real five guys.
Good food as always but they were extremely slow. One order in front of me and it took over 20 minutes for 2 burgers and fries
Clean, new restaurant, friendly staff. Cheeseburger, small fry and a shake cost $17.00 per person! Good food but expensive for what you get.
Ordered online for curbside pickup. Arrived on time, called the number and the woman who picked up the phone says “Um, okay” and hangs up. Nothing happens. Ten minutes later I call again, “Oh shoot, okay” and hangs up. There is one family inside and NO ONE in line. Still no curbside delivery. I step inside, explain why I’m there. The cashier gets the manager who starts a refund, no explanation, no offer to re-make the cold burgers and fries, just asks for my card for the refund. I had added a 20% tip, the total order was over $60. Refund did not include the ti because the manager said she didn’t know how to refund the tip. Now I have to call the general manager tomorrow so he can do it. Long story short, I just paid $11 and wasted half an hour for ZERO! Never again, don’t waste your time.

Consistently delicious burgers and fries no matter the location
Dropped a star as they really to improve the online ordering pickup process. As soon as I get to the store, the app should advise the employees or a way to separate the in-store and app purchases. Many times my order is behind the in-store orders and it doesnt make sense. App ordering should speed up the process not slow it down
The freshness, flavor, portions, and friendliness of service are outstanding. The prices are higher to compensate for the previously mentioned. I recommend sharing meals to get all the benefits but not bust your budgets. Doesnt even matter if you dont like the same thing as your burger sharer. Without us asking they offered to put different toppings on either side, so each gets exactly what they want, made from fresh ingredients and with love. Fabulous experience and food!

Keeps with the five guys standards. My son loves the peanuts you can get. Our burgers were delicious and the toasted buns are on point! My only nit-pick is that not one of the burgers coming off the grill had the cheese melted on them, they placed the cheese on right before they build the sandwiches. Id prefer it to be melted on the grill, but thats just my preference and its not going to make or break a burger place. Great food, nice staff!
Nice sized burgers at nice sized prices. Nice selection of toppings to choose from too. Fresh cut fries take me back to my youth. But no offers of a combo (burger/fries/drink). Im not cheap, but $28 for 2 people is a bit high in my book..
The food was fresh but very bland like they didnt use salt or pepper and the meat was grey with No char on the meat making it taste boiled. Ive had better experiences here.
GREAT burgers. Fresh fries. But this is not fast food. You get top notch quality, but you are paying a top notch price. Other restaurants with similar quality (again not fast food) are at a lower price point in the area. Price is the only reason rated at 3. Family of 4 is close to 60 bucks if you get milkshakes.
Fries for days! I had a hamburger with the works and the wife had a little cheeseburger. We split one order of fries and we still didnt eat them all. Everything is fresh made to order. My only complaint was that the Coke Freestyle machine was out of several flavors. Kudos to the staff for being so efficient and pleasant.
I ordered a grilled cheese. One half of it was grilled, and the other half was buttery but not cooked. The cheese was not melted, and they literally used a bun and just flipped it. I took pictures to post with my review because it’s honestly impossible to ruin a grilled cheese, but somehow they managed to accomplish it. And it won’t let me upload them. Very disappointed.
Staff was amazing. I stepped away for a second and when I reappeared she made sure that my fries were hot before serving them to me. Excellent Food. Perfect wait time. Temperature was very comfortable after coming in from the humidity.

It was very clean & well kept. It was dinner time & they busy, but everything remained clean and orderly. The drink & condiment stations were stocked and organized, no garbage laying around. I have a 2yo and was very pleased to see all the high chairs were in good repair and wiped down. No little food particles in the cracks even. There was a changing station in the mens room, which is far less common than it should be. The service was great & the food was delicious, which is typical the 5 guys chain. The cleanliness really stood out for me and I thought it deserved a shout out.
Great burgers! This is a recently newly opened place at this location so it dont run like perfect clock work but the food was still great. Im sure all the bugs, not literally, will get worked out in time. For what you get the price is pretty high to 3at here everyday but once a week or so isnt bad. If you never had Five Guys do yourself a favor and try this place, just remember this is a newly opened location.
Next stop on our search for the best burger in Newark / Heath was Five Guys. Friendly staff very helpful, and a thick & Juicy Burger and fresh ingredients. We were very pleased with the burger and absolutely can recommended. The only thing thats we have to point out is the price. If you go here with your family it can be a little bit pricey. Thats why we get Five Guys four out of five stars.
This is absolutely one of the best burgers money can buy. The only trouble with it is the cost. For of us had three single cheeseburgers, and a double cheeseburger. Along with a small fry and medium fry, three waters, and a Coke. Almost $50. If you go be prepared to pay a high price for a great burger. This is not the only five guys Ive been to, its the same at every one Ive ever been to.
I have only been there once I heard they give you lots of fries, but I cant eat them. I had a kosher hot dog and it cost as much as a whole pack in the store. And it wasnt prepared very good.
For the prices they charge the burger should be a little more memorable. I cant remember a thing about it other than the price
Great burgers but a small order of fries produced over a pound of way-too-salty potatoes. Urgh....Hamburger was nice and cooked perfectly--several drops of clear liquid dripped but it wasnt grease. Well probably go back.

I eagerly dug into the fries. They were way too salty so I called in to let them know and was told, The fries are salted according to Five Guys standards, let us know you want less salt next time.Ive eaten at nearly every Five Guys location in Columbus and Reynoldsburg for the past 6 years, lol. The fries are nowhere near the quality served at their other establishments and were way over salted. Make sure to ask for less salt.Burgers are of the same quality at other locations though. So thats good. If they fix the salt problem, this could be a good location.
YUM. Burgers are delicious and the fries are one of my favorites ever. A little pricey, thus the 4 stars. This is a high quality meal with a diner/fast food restaurant kind of feel.
Went there about 2 pm so it was busy but not too crowded. In spite of plenty of staff (at least 6 behind the counter), it still took a long time to get our food. I ordered a cheeseburger with almost everything. It was good but I needed a fork to eat it because the bottom part of the bun was soaked and it fell apart. Got to be a better way.
Clean place to eat. You get tons of fries and the burgers are great... pretty pricey but a nice treat now and then.
Love the hamburgers and fries , last time in the hamburgers were cooked perfect but the fries were mixed some good some under cooked and greasy like two different batches mixed together. But usually all good.
I have been to many Five Guys Locations and this rates at the bottom. My Burger was overcooked and they forgot one of my toppings. They didnt even give me a full cup of fries. It every other location Ive been to the food was excellent and they overflow your fry cup and put some in the bag. I was highly disappointed and will not be going back. If you plan on Having Five Guys for lunch or dinner drive the extra distance and go to one in Columbus.
Good burgers, friendly staff. I have been to 6 different five guys from here to Virginia and they all put extra fries in the bag, for 5.99 large fry you should. This five guys does NOT. If you go do NOT order fries its a rip off.
Reminds me of the In-N-Out restaurant chain out west. Delicious burgers and oh the fries are sooo good! The bigger sandwiches are a little expensive, but the smaller sandwiches are big enough to fill you up and are reasonably priced. And they overload you with fries. You wont go away hungry :-)
YUM!!! Their Little Bacon Burger is ridiculously tasty. You can get ALL the condiments if you want - its up to you. Their fries are absolutely always fresh and you CAN order them with less salt (even fresher) - but why would you want to?

This place definitely isnt for vegans or vegetarians. The veggie burger contained no patty, only veggies, mushrooms, and tomatoes on a bun. The cajun fries were way too salty. The coffee milkshake was the only thing that salvaged the visit. Ill probably never return.
I love 5 Guys! They are my go to burger joint! A bit pricey but worth it. My only complaint is the undercooked limp fries. I heard that they will cook them to order if you ask bit i have asked for them well done and I still got the same limp fries, a bit disappointing in that area.

Price is unbelievabley high. I had four LITTLE cheeseburgers, two LITTLE fries, and four SMALL drinks = $45.58! Big price for little order. Food was decent, service good, but the price tag will keep me from returning.
Usually this place is a great place to eat. However this time it was not. Our cheeseburgers were very cold. And our french fries were so salty that they could not be consumed.
Its as expensive as perhaps even better burger places like Flipside Grill, but its still very good in its own right and the food is always fast.
The burger was pretty decent. Be aware when you order a cheeseburger, your going to pay $7.89 for it. Its actually a double cheeseburger so your not getting as fleeced as it sounds. Also, a large fry is $6, but it will feed 2 adults and a small child. The fries are made from real potatoes, however come out a lil on the soft and soggy side. They also have Cajun fries if thats your thing.Overall, its a lil pricey. The good news is that its different and the burgers are made of real beef. When compared to a fast food joint, 5 guys wins out on quality. 5 guys probably loses the fries taste war to everybody but Wendys.
Initially my takeout order was horribly incorrect, but after calling, the manager was eager to rectify. He noted all mistakes, detailed, dated, and named in a log, and ensured that our next meal was free. Five Guys cannot disappoint in flavor or server.
The one at Easton is great. This location not so much. Ordered burger all the way. It was a disaster in a wrapper not portioned so that it was actually edible on a bun. The fries are terrible. Dropped like 5 pounds of salt on them. Looked like they had fur all over them from all salt. Manager making fries was yelling Dont people know how bad these are for you! at fry station while i was there.Thanks for the warning.
The food was pretty good but the music was WAY too loud. We couldnt talk across the table. We asked one of the employees to turn it down but nothing changed. I wondered how close it was to the OSHA 8 hour exposure limit.
Great burger and fries! I had the mini cheese and bacon burger and a small fry. The mini means you only have one patty of meat the next time I go Ill get the regular to Pattys to meet. French fries were very good and you get lots and lots of french fries

Always outstanding, just like all the other locations Ive eaten at around Columbus. If you read most of the negative reviews on here, theyre older people. We get it, the music is loud. You have a cabinet of plates no one is allowed to use in your house, so you both suck. Its a draw. Secondly, yes the food is more expensive. Its not 1968 and everything isnt 15 cents. The fact that people mention five guys food being bad and going back to steak n shake is absolutely hysterical. Are you really that old and redneck that horsemeat and spare parts meat taste better than real beef fresh-cooked in front of you?Kudos to one older gentleman who hit the nail on the head for the last point of my review the cost of a burger seems to warrant it would come with fries. So that shows you how expensive it is to bring you real beef cooked to order, with every condiment or topping you want on it in 8-10 mins. Instead of wondering why real things cost money, you SHOULD be asking, what are you eating every time you go to McDonalds or Steak n Shake that allows them to sell a meal with fries included so cheaply?? It isnt beef or potatoes, Ill guarantee you that.
Stopped in during tornado warnings and staff were so nice! We had kosher hotdogs and shakes. We asked for extra strawberry and chocolate in them. They were awesome! Not the largest shake but most filling. Im not even a shake fan but these are addictive.
It was $15 for a burger and a small fry..Took 16 mins to get my food.There’s over 25 topping options and all I got was mayo. Lol..Literally just got mayo on it.Terrible won’t be back lol just had to try it
Certainly the food is tasty but all Five Guys restaurants have long waits and the food in my opinion is overpriced. I have been to several Five Guys as far away as California and my tab last month at one in Columbus was north of $ 13.00 for their cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Heres my tip... save your money for a trip to California, Texas or Las Vegas and get a Double-Double at an In-N-Out Burger. Much tastier, cheaper AND, for the same amount of food....youll get CHANGE BACK from your $ 10 bill !
Didnt feel good after eating here. When they first opened it wa as great but now it seems like its a hit or miss. And there milkshakes are horrible. They taste good but makes your super super thirsty.

This is the worst Five Guys I’ve ever been to. The food is either wrong or terrible at least 50% of the time. The service is slow and the attitudes are bad. A lady, possibly the manager, that runs the cashier register has a horrible, nasty attitude.

First off, music was unbearably loud, such that we couldnt even carry on a conversation. Also very expensive, over $20 for one burger, fries and a tiny little shake. The so-called milkshake was as thin as milk and had barely any flavor other than milk, for $5!!! I think it may have been simply a little cup of milk, actually. Burger was so well done it hardly had any taste to it. Fries decent, but definitely not worth the money. Walls are covered with glowing newspaper reviews which must be written by Five Guys. According to their sign Washington Post allegedly declared, The Willy Wonkas of Burgers, whatever that may possibly mean. Other locations may be better, but NOT the one on Hebron Road. Not even close, and a huge rip-off.
Burgers were very good, lots of fries, a large fry Fed 4 of us, a little bit too much salt for me but the rest of my crew liked it. Milkshakes were excellent!
So good. A little more expensive for a burger but we didnt realize a regular cheeseburger was actually double meat and cheese. Next time we will order the little cheeseburger because the regular was too much food for me and i couldnt eat it all.
Super busy but it was only opened for the third day. However they forgot something I ordered and didnt realize till we were home. Along with I got food poisoning from something I ordered as well. I am going to give them another try in about a month when it should not ve as busy. They were so busy that the only option was to carry out. The entryway was filled with 20 people because they could not keep up with their orders by the sheer number of others who kept coming in. All of this could be because of just opening which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 due to getting directly ill from their food.
Cheeseburger, hot dog, one fries, one drink... $20! The food came very very very tightly wrapped in aluminum foil... the buns resembled soft taco shells they were so smashed... the burger was very good except for the very smashed bun...the hot dogs are sliced in half lengthwise ruining any true “hot dog” experience... might as well have been bologna... fries were tiny bits and very oversalted and overcooked...Coke seems watered down... that is all, just 😢

To dang expensive! I paid $5 for shake and it was the size of a Wendys small frosty. I also got large fries and paid $6.30 it was the size of a McDonalds medium. So for $11.30 I got a snack. Could of paid that same amount and visited Chengs

Five guys in general is good, but not the best. It is way over priced by like 2-3 dollars. I spent 30$ on 3 sandwhiches a drink and a milkshsake. Thats just crazy to me. People would eat their way more if it was cheaper

The customer service was extremely rude. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes waiting on a doordash order and when asked what was I waiting for rudely they served someone first and then finally gave me my order, after they all walked past me and ignored me.

Huge portions, but very expensive for a chain burger place. $15 for a bacon cheeseburger, small fries and medium drink! Restaurant clean. They do have malt vinegar, which I like.

My favorite indulgent place to eat. Burgers are fatty and fries are fresh cut.
I am a huge fan of five guys. When this placed opened up a year ago, they were slow to serve, but its better now.
Staf was nie, but the food wasnt as good compared to other Five Guys places I have been to.
Ok burger, soggy fries, runny and bland chocolate shake. If you want mediocre food with a high price stop on in.
Meh over priced for the quality. Not like it is bad or anything. Just not impressed with the food.

2022-07-06I was very disappointed in this. I used to love 5 guys but the last two times Ive gotten from there have been nasty. I thought that maybe the one time was a fluke but it wasnt. The meat patties have a weird texture and flavor. Mcdonalds tastes better and I cant stand them. I seriously think its done to keep from using as much meat and give the appearance of a patty. Everything was meh. The peanut butter shake was alright but almost like eating pure peanut butter. I certainly wont be back. BK is far better and half the price.

2022-02-23My favorite place to go for lunch!! The employees are ALWAYS so kind. They get my order to me super fast and I can tell they all work hard. Restaurant is always clean. I will forever recommend this location!

2022-01-18I used to love 5 guys, have eaten at one in a few different states but after spending 57.00$ on 4 burgers & 2 fries that were so soggy & disgusting that no one was able to eat the buns, I wont be going back to one anytime soon.!! I ate my burger with a fork and only had a few fries cuz they tasted like they were reheated!! The store in Heath Ohio made me look at 5 Guys a totally different way and Im actually very disappointed

2021-12-22Their burgers are so good there I wouldnt say theyre Gourmet Burgers but its a lot better than McDonalds. Its a little pricey so if youre taking the family be ready to empty your wallet. And the french fries are really good too.

2018-02-21This was one of the most disappointing meals we have had as a family. The fries are soggy and greasy. The burger had good flavor but again, it was greasy. The shakes were really good. Its a shame when my 5 year old will not eat the hot dog. I waited 8 minutes for the food which isnt bad but in that time I noticed that, even more than a week after opening, most of the employees seemed clueless. They were arguing over what went on orders and the guy working the grill had no business cooking burgers. Burger 101 is never press a cooking patty with the spatula. He did that with almost every burger and then had to cut the thin patties to tell if they were done. The order for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) was $58. That is pretty comparable to other places like panera or tasty made, but the quality was no where close to deserving that price tag. My wife is the only person that ate more than a half dozen fries and that is only because she likes soft fair style fries. And she still only ate a small part of her fries. The boys and I ended up going and getting the free peanuts because the fries were not worth eating.

2022-01-05While Im not the biggest fan of burgers, Five Guys does have incredible fries and shakes! Its worth the trip just for that. And the free peanuts are a nice touch, too.

2022-02-15Only did one of the orders when I ordered 2 by and I ordered too but they did compensate and gave me my mail for free so that was very nice!
