First Watch in other cities:
The food here was quality but the experience was lackluster. This place has very high potential but it fell short with poor attitude and service. I wouldnt say our service was bad (very slow service and ticket time but that is understandable at times like this) but rather poor. Our waitress walked past staring at us many times without checking on us and she was not very friendly. We felt unwelcomed at what seemed like a friendly environment. I think we will give this place another chance one day
5 stars for sure. The food is presented very well, the taste is excellent. Real food with a lot of great flavor and none of the bad processed products. The staff is friendly. Theres plenty of free parking. They are handicapped accessible. The waiting area is usually crowded. They offer free coffee and flavored water while youre waiting for a table. I cant wait to go back.
I go to the First Watch on Portage Trail located in Cuyahoga Falls and I love it! I have eaten inside once and it was a pleasant experience and ordered to go twice. I did not think I would be able to eat here due to being GF, however, they do have GF toast and I substitute the regular bread for that instead regarding sandwiches. :) So, if you are GF give that a try! Being GF, you cant really have any of the breakfast items except for the meats. Other than that, quality food and not too bad price wise. :)
Great food, kind staff, gets very busy on weekends and needs around 30 minutes wait, but totally worth the food. Chicken quinoa bowl was very tasty, “the works” omelette was soo good, and their seasoned potatoes are delicious and homestyle. Didn’t really like their eggs Benedict, tasted good but far from the original: they served it on ciabatta instead of English muffin and their hollandaise sauce tasted very different, don’t get it if you look for a creamy genuine eggs benedict
Put our names on the list and waited 45 min, sat down and ordered food immediately and waited FIFTY MINUTES for food. 2 of us had to leave so asked for our food to go and cashed out before then, and still waited for food, finally came out as we were leaving and our friend had to run it out to us as we very nearly had to walk out without food that WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. I newsstand that restaurants are short staffed but is the point if the wait for seating not to ensure everyone still gets their food in a timely manner? Never coming back here
My app order was accidentally sent to the wrong First Watch location, but all of the employees at Portage Crossing were so helpful, kind, and accommodating, even making my meal right on the spot. Thank you for being kind, especially during a time when there is so much negativity out there! I appreciated this customer service so very much and will absolutely be returning to this location in the future.
We were silly to think we could just walk in to a brunch place on a Sunday before/after a holiday (the Sunday between Christmas and New Years) at 10 am. Silly, silly, silly. When we spoke with the hostess (who took and entered our name and number before being able to give us a wait time which felt a little weird) we were told 30-40 minutes. And we all know those estimates are hardly ever right. So we check the text that sent to us and there are 25 (!!) parties ahead of our little party of 2. Forlorn, we hover with the mass of people also waiting for their turn. There was a table with bar stools that was offered as a first come, first served option, but it didnt seem comfortable in any way. After nearly an hour of waiting, we were finally seated. Our waitress was quick to take our drink orders, but it took a while for her to come back to check on us. The place was packed, so I guess thats to be expected.I had the Hacienda Hash, and my boyfriend had the French Toast. Both were very good. His came with a fruit syrup that was very very good. And mine was really tasty, too.Overall, for the price and considering the waiting time... I dont think well come here again. But it was good food and a decent atmosphere.
Pickup order was wrong for the 3rd visit in a row. The cooks must not know the difference between their Turkey sausage and their normal sausage links because they almost never provide the choice that is placed in the order. We tried to call and get it sorted out and after 10 attempts to call and speak to a hostess they never picked up the phone.Try the summit mall location, this location has no attention to detail nor do they answer the phone.Update (year+ later) corporate First Watch informed me they would send a gift card in the mail. They never sent anything.
The chopped chicken avocado salad was good enough that Id order it again. All kinds of other foods including pita croutons were embellishments. The dressing was flavorful but light and WAS TOSSED-IN.I was starving since we were experiencing yet another power outage, and the salad met my need (very filling). The service was performed by a friendly, attentive, seasoned server who even gave me a cup of coffee to go (voluntarily) since I did not drink much. The atmosphere was nice diner and a bit loud.
I went here with 3 other people on a Sunday around 1pm. We waited for 30 minutes to be seated and then was greeted by our waitress who seemed very rushed and did not want to give us time to decide. She did not check in on us after ordering or give us any updates while waiting. The food took 45 minutes to come and while the food was good it was not worth the wait or the price. The quality of the food was good but paying $12 for Avocado toast and potatoes just didnt feel right. I wouldnt go here again; theres better places with the same quality food, better prices, and faster service.
First time there for breakfast. Service was slow.We waiting about 5 minutes before greeted by our waitress. Kitchen was slow also. My waffle was cold. so butter didnt even melt. The waitress forgot the syrup. Took her forever to bring it. My friend liked his breakfast but only one slice of toast? How cheap can you get. Another pet peeve is when the waitress slams down the bill right after you get your food. Never asked if we wanted anything else. She expected a tip, we expected service. We both got neither. Wont go back.
Went with my dad for breakfast, food was wrong, no one checked back. Everyone seemed to be stressed out and managers non existent. Used to be a great place to go. Servers didnt recognize me as a former employee because no one ever looked at me while taking our order. You can treat me poorly, just dont treat my loved ones like you cant be bothered with them. It was rude and unacceptable.
First time visit and I like it! The place is full of smiles and the customers overall seem to be having a good time. The menu is loaded with unique options. I had the roast beef sandwich, broccoli cheddar soup and a side of biscuits and gravy. Im stuffed and very satisfied. I will be back 💯
Excellent healthy food options! Its been years since I had a frittata and my veggie frittata was yummy. Perfect portion sizes! You leave feeling full but not so full you need a nap. I feel terrible I cant remember our servers name, but she served us on the patio and was so kind and pleasant. We will definitely be back. 😊
Ordered takeout at 11am to be ready at noon. Went to the restaurant to pick up and the hostess said it wasn’t ready yet and to stand outside (in the rain) and they’ll bring the bags up to a table inside next to the window. I asked her how much longer (it was supposed to be ready at 12) she says probably 20 more minutes. Didn’t apologize and just told me to wait outside. There was a handful of people also outside waiting that said they had been standing there for almost an hour. Not one person came outside to apologize, offer a coffee, water, nothing. The male manager standing inside didn’t say one word to anyone either. What type of restaurant has people waiting like that and a manager doesn’t do one thing to acknowledge it?? Didn’t receive my food until 12:45. Ordered at 11AM??! Got home and the food was packaged so incredibly poorly, they made it incorrectly, and it was the worst food I’ve had there. I am so upset with the lack of communication, poor food, and terrible service.
Oh...yum. I mean, there isnt anything else to say about this place. Do yourself a favor and eat here as often as possible. The service is great. So polite and nice. Like they actually want to help you and not just their job to. The food is, well, yum. Who has carrot cake pancakes?? Come on! Just a great atmosphere and delicious food. And the potatoes!!! Did I say yum?
I would leave 0 stars if I could. The hostess was not transparent about the waiting situation. We checked in and were given an hour time frame for a wait. When :75 min went by and we saw people walking in and getting seated we decided to check back in. It wasn’t till then that we found of that if someone checks in online they get priority. So people that aren’t even there get priority over the customers who showed up and are physically there, waiting. I was frustrated to find out that people who checked in on the app AFTER I checked in in-person would get priority over me. A little backwards if you ask me. Glad I wasted my time.
Organic, gluten free choices, cage free eggs, pancakes are huge, nice waffles, jams are delicious, lots of flavor. The service is outstanding and friendly. They move quickly and work together well. One of my favorite places for breakfast, different menu but great. Always feel happy when I leave here. Great experience
I visited First Watch for the first time recently and loved it. The food was great and service was excellent. Our server was so friendly. The environment is so cozy yet modern. Everything looked great, but I had the market skillet hash and it was amazing. I also liked their coffee and toast. We waited 10-15 minutes for 2 on a Saturday morning, but it was worth it. My only complaint is that parking could improve and I wish they stayed open longer. Also wish they had a North Canton location!
Me and my lady come here often. The vibe is very farm to table with many healthy options that I promise myself I will try next time I come. The waffles are light, crispy, and perfectly golden each time I order it. The coffee is another highlight. The service can be hit or miss, they get very busy during the morning rush, so it is understandable. As for value, it is definitely not an overwhelming one. For the quality and variety of food it is not horrible but 8.00 for a waffle seems a bit high.Overall it is a nice place to get breakfast! Arrive early and avoid the rush!
This has been a decent experience for small parties, but we went in with a party of 7 and they told us 30-40 minutes and ended up not seating us until after an hour and 20 minutes. Then, they seemed put out the one time we checked in (after an hour) to ask how much longer. After we were seated our server greeted us then went away for 20 minutes, then after ordering the food took an additional 25 minutes to arrive. We knew we would be paying a little bit higher prices for your basic breakfast foods, but did not anticipate the extremely slow and indifferent service. Probably wont be back- at least definitely not in a large group. Every other breakfast place seems equipped to handle the breakfast rush. Our server never checked in, took forever to bring our check, and we all ran out of water. Meanwhile, four employees stood chatting at the front desk. We did not plan on spending our entire morning here. Go to Fluries or Blue Door!
Weve gone to First Watch many times, but had just been in again recently for the first time since the pandemic began. Theyve taken all the measures for safety that can be expected while still being able to operate a successful business. We never felt like we were being rushed to finish, despite the reduced seating, which my wife and I both appreciated. Overall good experience as always.
Food was great! Mediterranean baked eggs and million Dollar Bacon, both were season items. Coffee was fresh and hot and food arrived quickly. Upon arrival there was confusion which line was to be seated and which one was for paying the bill. Several groups were seated before me but had arrived after. Minor issue and not any major inconvenience unless youre in a hurry.
I have become a regular here since Im in the area a lot nowadays. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is really good and the service is always very good also. I like that they have newspapers for people to read and that you can eat and read and not feel rushed. they also give you a carafe of coffee and let you take the whole thing home to go if you would like in a cup. Not the carafe of course!
Very good coffee here! We went to Bob Evans almost every weekend and this has replaced that. If you get there too late in the morning, the wait can be crazy but it is well worth it. Food is very healthy and delicious. My mom and I go as much as we can. Their coupons are really awesome as well. Free meal for signing up and free meal for my birthday month. We love this restaurant! and will continue to be recurring customers!
The food was excellent, once we got it. ! Waitress was great and very appologetic. The kitchen was very slow (probably understaffed), and you need a bussperson since it takes much longer to clean an sanitize a table and chairs. Maybe a P/T Host to take money while the other is seating customers.
My wife and I absolutely love going here. I have had many items off of the menu and I have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and most of the ingredients are local. Outstanding food and coffee.Because they are so popular, there can be a wait. Its worth it. The weekends get especially busy but you can easily get a table on most weekdays.
The wait from door to pour...was about 50 minutes...from pour eat --> another 25 minutes. But they always have great coffee, and their farmers skillets are awesome especially with one of their multi-grain pancakes! The lower stars is due to waiting and the coffee amenity typically coming up short (probably a great perk if not always packed!). They typically try to have hot coffee with cream and sugar while you wait... but with all the people... theres always something missing, empty, cold, etc....kudos for making an effort.
My 1st time visiting First Choice for breakfast today. I had the ricotta pancakes with lemon curd and berries. Was so surprised how big the meal was. It was enough for three meals! Delicious! My friend had the Belgian waffle with compote, eggs and bacon. She said it was really good too! Liked the decor and the service was great too! Looking forward to visiting again.
Open only a few hours and be closed after 3PM. How do you stay in business? I know how... charge $15 for an egg, add the tax and ask for a tip. Today I came to this place in spite of the ridiculousness and there was a line. I have been told I would have to wait for 20-30 mins and I gave my number for text notifications. I waited and nothing... I called after half an hour. The girl told me I would have to wait for an additional 25 mins. How nice. Why did not you tell me I would wait for an hour so I would not wait in my car in this winter cold?
Good food, ambiance, value: this place lacks it all. First, its *the*place to go for all those coming out of the gym next door, so you dont have to feel bad about wearing sweaty exercise clothes and leaving sweat stains on the furniture while you wait half an hour for a table. My party of three got two of our meals a good 10 minutes before the third, so we had plenty of time to contemplate. My avocado toast was certainly interesting. A couple stale ends of bread topped with an ice cream scoop size of avocado. The oils had separated, which added a nice gloss to what looked like mayonnaise mixed in. On the side was a pair of flabby, cold eggs that were not cooked to order. The server *did* ask whether I didnt like the eggs, and wound up knocking a couple bucks off the price, bringing it down to a mere 10 bucks, which is I guess the going rate for stale toast these days. Fortunately the place is loud enough I wasnt able to concentrate and dwell on things. They have one convenient station for both taking seating requests and paying, so you get to wait another 10 minutes with the gym crowd while the host flirts with the hotties. If you hate money as much as you hate food, this is totally the place for you.
Service was not good. I received three different time for food orders and nobody in the restaurant actually wanted to try to help me with my food order. We were then told that that the wait time was for an hour but the next group came in, with no reservation, and was seated before us. It seemed like we were pushed off more than helped in the restaurant.
First time there! Very beautiful atmosphere. Mitch was our server and he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! The food was fresh and delicious! Loved that they give you your own pot of coffee so you can drink at your own pace! Definatly going back to try out lunch!
Delicious, efficient, friendly. Those are the 3 words that come to mind. Had a group of 12, separate checks, yet the wait staff were friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Cant forget, we did call ahead of time to let them know our group size. It was the right thing to do. 😊
This place gets one star in my opinion, but I have to give an extra star for the food, which is quite good. I went here twice, once for brunch on a Saturday, and again on a Thursday for lunch. The first time, the service was extremely slow, and we had to ask other waitresses for refills. We waited fifteen minutes for our bill, which isnt even paid at the table. I am a very low maintenance customer, so this is definitely out of the ordinary for me. The second time I was seated, and waited for about ten minutes, with no one even greeting me or getting a drink order. Im not sure if I had the same slow waitress as last time (I was actually at the same table), because I never saw one come my way. I walked across the street to Chipotle, because my lunch break is not long enough to wait for service for fifteen minutes or more. I would go back, but only if their service situation was remedied, and maybe some of the laziest staff let go. It was not at all busy both times I went, by the way.
Their food is very good, but, unfortunately, several people at our table today had cold food. I think the servers may have too many tables to be responsible for as I had to ask for our table to get another pot of coffee. For $50 for 2 people to eat breakfast seems a little pricey when you have to suffer these kind of service issues. This is our 3rd time eating there and we had a gift card so we went back. There are other places in Cuyahoga Falls to get a better breakfast experience.
This place is hit or miss depending on whos working. I have always loved First Watch but this location is off. Staff isnt always friendly and Ive had incorrect orders several times. The food quality can also vary depending on whos cooking the food. Also theres only 1 stall bathrooms here for it being such a big restaurant. Like other First Watch locations, the food usually very good and the service fast.
I just ordered here a few minutes ago. I told the person who took my order I was going to be eating outside on the patio, instead of inside. After somewhat of a wait, the hostess came out with my food in a bag and asked was I eating in. I said no, I said I was dining on the patio. She looked at me as If they did not have a patio. I started walking towards the patio door. She followed me and said, I dont know if I have a clean table out there and waited for me to respond, rather than clean a table off. I said, never mind, its not that serious, then walked off their property with my bagged lunch. Service was pretty bad (I was even handed a receipt with a space for tips. I have never had this kind of service at the University Heights location. Definitely wont be returning here.Ever.Again.
Ordered a Doordash delivery. Breakfast tacos, million dollar bacon, and a drink.Took them 40 minutes to get my driver the food. Tacos we good but the bacon was burnt badly. Like black edges and dust bad. Called them and politely told the issue to the person who answered the phone. They told me one sec and I said no problem. Put on hold then hung up on 30 seconds later.
Went during a busy time. 40mins to wait for a table of 4. The food was an even longer wait. Prices were normal for what you expect. The coffee was horrible, and the price for one cup was $2.70. No where near that good of a quality. Not my type of scene, very hipster like. But if thats for you then itll be fun. I might go again during a different time. But nothing special.
This was my first and last visit to First Watch. When you pay almost $30 for breakfast, it should at least be warm. Eggs were cold, not even a hint of warm. The potatoes and ham were lukewarm at best. This was early on a Sunday morning with few customers in the restaurant. The food looked good, but there is no excuse for cold food
Shockingly mediocre food for the high price they charge. I got biscuits and gravy, and the gravy was watery and mushy. The potatoes were really good, and I wish more of that quality went into the rest of the food. The service also wasnt great. We were barely even greeted and treated like we were an inconvenience to our server.
Im not a big fan of their seating arrangements because your almost guaranteed to be sitting within earshot of a complete stranger. I prefer enough privacy that I can talk to my wife without the stranger next to me being able to hear every word. They also must be known for being dog friendly because the last two times we came here someone had their dog with them. Maybe a comfort animal or companion animal but it sure as heck looks like a pet dog to me. The food, coffee, and service are always good. A little pricey for breakfast but its worth it.
This is such an excellent place to eat. While they are frequently busy, I honestly dont mind waiting. The wait staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and they have a large number of healthy, vegan and gluten free options. They pride themselves on community and it shows. I enjoy coming here. I definitely recommend coming here.#healthy #vegetarianfriendly
For the second visit in a row my food was not prepared properly. Blueberry pancakes were burned but I gave them a pass because I was really hungry and I didn’t want to wait for another batch. Yesterday my sandwich had a slice of cheese with the paper still attached. I sent it back. The second sandwich was fine but there was no attempt to adjust the bill or otherwise make up for the error. Annoying.
Fresh food at decent prices. They also offer a rotating seasonal selection of dishes, and healthy brunch food options. The restaurant has adorable farmhouse decoré that gives it a homey feel. There can be a wait on weekendsand it can become crowded near the entrance with those waiting, but they provide coffee and water for those waiting which is nice.
First Watch offers one of the best weekend breakfast alternatives in the area. It has the basic elements of a greasy spoon without the grease. But the menu extends well beyond that, offering interesting and healthy breakfast options. Since my family and I are usually order from that beyond part, we enjoy a Sunday brunch there whenever possible. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is not because of a deficiency of First Watch but rather its success. Everyone wants to eat at the same time. That can put wait times upwards of 45 minutes and beyond. That is too long for a relaxing weekend brunch.
I always love the food at First Watch but the waits are always outrageous. Checking in ahead does not seem to get you seated any faster than just showing up, by the way. Id also appreciate not being quoted 15-20 mins every time when it ends up being 30-45 consistently. Great food but maybe we still need more locations...
Horrible service, long waits. Food isnt good enough to deal with them again. Gave them 3 different chances. Even ordered on door dash and waited 2 hrs for my food. Dasher also informed me that they have issues continuously with wait time and poor customer service. This is my experience with only the one in Cuyahoga Falls, Portage trail location.
The food is great and servers generally friendly. DO NOT order CARRYOUT when they are busy though. Youll only end up with half of what is supposed to be in your order. Unfortunately this is the second time, so shame on me. I get the triathlete, and got the omelet with fruit, but the toast and jelly was left out of the order. (after i specifically asked for an extra little jelly pack to go with the toast). Lesson learned. Skip carryout or double check it every time before you leave.
Every time we go to First Watch in Fairlawn or Portage Crossing, something is dirty. Check your utensils, check the cups, and the coffee/hot water pitchers. This time, there was a lot of buildup on the hot water pitcher. Bathroom was trashed. Luckily, food was decent and service was fast.
This is a nice breakfast and lunch place. Personally, I have gone here for breakfast and havent been disappointed. The menu is set up to offer healthier choices and it isnt a place to go if you are looking for a heavy and greasy type of place. The food and juice are fresh and tasty!
Love the idea of a restaurant that prepares meals from local sources. Food was great. Servers were great. Looked like you could order food and pick it up. Wait time was about 30 mins on a Saturday mid morning. You can download yelp app to know when your table is available.
You will wait over hour most times to get your food. We quit going to this hole last year .then tried again s few weeks ago and it was even worse. Dont waste your time..if you just have to do first watch got to macedonia one..but one on portage trail is a train wreck
Before 8:15AM on Sunday morning... I finally figured out the secret. Most enjoyable visit. 10th total. No waiting. No crowd. Traditional order - incredible eggs benny and potatoes. Avocado Toast and Tomato Juice over ice. Great service. Side of Italian sausage turned into pebbles smaller then I hear a place called Little Ceasars uses on a $5 cardboard pizza. Most humans assume a side of sausage means patties or links. Pebbles... Pizza. Next time I will offer to help cook.
Went to First Watch at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday for breakfast. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 very small children. Was told there was a 45-minute wait for a table, but we waited an hour and a half. My friends food arrived an hour later but they forgot my food. My meal was comped but only after I asked manager. Service was also poor as well.
I arrived to pick up my carry-out and the rude girl hands me a check and tells me to stand in a huge line at the register while my food gets cold! That’s just unacceptable-seriously the reason people order carry-out is bc they want to get in/out in a hurry. After I pay, no one even hands me my order and they tell me to wait some more! Ridiculous! I get home and my order is wrong. The food is great if they get it right-forget about carry-out option-totally unorganized and rude staff that answers phone.
First Watch is a great restaurants if your looking for other healthier options besides pancakes and waffels. They have these items as well, but I would send you to Wally Waffel if pancakes/waffles are you thing. The fresh pressed juices are good as a starter here. The omlettes were good and did come with a salad on the side to get your greens in. I would advise going either fairly early on the weekend or wait till after the typical 8-10am breakfast rush; you will have a long wait during these times to be seated.
The food and the service at this first watch is consistently pleasant deficient and well prepared. I infinitely prefer going to this establishment then the self watch up in fairlawn and Summit Mall the folks here at portage crossing are the loveliest people no matter how busy it is and its always always clean
Almost always amazing—my only issue is with seating. Has a “text to table” system when crowded so you get a text when your table is ready. Received my text as they were cleaning off our table (that was ok) but we were then seated in the absolute worst seat for my mom. When we asked if there was anywhere else to sit, we were told this was all that was available. They had told the guy behind me (texted right after me) that they would seat him as soon as she seated us. If he was willing to have this table, why not offer it to him and we’d wait one extra minute?Anyway, in the big picture, it wasn’t the end of the world, and we ALWAYS love the food—it keeps us coming back again and again! Won’t let a table issue keep us away. 💜
FIST OFF , please consider reading (USDAs Organic Labeling) . I cant give you the link, but its easy to look up. Seriously , you should look that up . Theres levels to how much organic is considered . Theres 100% Organic , then Organic and the list continues from there on the degrees of what constitutes organic. Now, dont forget , the organic label needs to have the USDA paired together. USDA label first, then the amount of how organic it is attached atop .So that means I can put a label of organic on something ,and without the USDA, it doesnt mean thats it has all the warranties of what you consider organic . I could put an organic sticker on a head of lettuce that I am selling, and it could mean its just grown in dirt. Heres another . Organic Free range eggs. Just because it says that doesnt mean your getting good quality eggs. Heres what I want you to do . Why, cause (Dont Just Read & Believe) . Go to a farm that has eggs and buy a dozen .Ask of course when the eggs where laid . Most likely the farmer will tell you, with a happy smile on their face, just this morning . Go home and have one. Compare that egg with a store bought one , then compare it to the restaurants who make claims about how deliciously theirs are sometime . You will notice a huge, and I mean a huge difference . I am saying this for I worked on an organic farm . Yup, way before they were popular. The farmer I worked for left Cisco right before the dot com bubble bust and sold of his shares and purchased a farm . Why did he do that ? I dont know, he was a genus . Seriously, certified mensa material .His sons and daughter were too. He taught me about the input cost for the different grains to feed the livestock were not that much greater, in fact in most cases they were less expensive , but that the margins in farming still were terrible regardless . He did mention that if people were to pay a higher percentage at the table for more lean health conscious products , that the farmer might be able to take advantage of this at the local levels. Well, the latter hasnt happened , but what has happened is that at the service level prices have lifted and people are paying more at the served tabled . It just really hasnt translated to the farmer . I also have worked at Schwebles Baking Company. Theres the notion that cost have elevated for products because it takes time to teach the handlers of the special(gluten) products and it cost extra for storage . At the baking end , no , it doesnt Plain and simple. Put this here, and put that over there with a sign hanging over it.We always had to clean the mixers out when we changed for different breads . So now actual elevated costs.Where am I going with all this ? Simple again . For me its all about price to product received .I have been to First Watch on 4 separate occasions . Twice I have enjoyed. Once was good and the fourth time service was poor and the meal was cold. The two times I enjoyed the meal more for the service was very good . That does give leniency toward the overall price . I do like the huge thermos of coffee you get. The other two , well , it made the price when the checked was received at the end of my breakfast a little hard to swallow . Sort of like burnt dry toast without any butter. It wouldnt have been so bad if I wasnt just left sitting there waiting forever for the bill. I do realize the girls get very busy , I do understand this, but my coffee went cold and the thermos of it had lost its appeal. I do enjoy their pancakes , but when coupled with an order of breakfast sausage and coffee , with tip, it came to almost $18 . Maybe if I got three pancakes and 4 sausage links. Lets look at it this way. First Watch has a Starbucks right next door to it , correct. Well so does Giant Eagle have a Starbucks .Wanna know what a coffee refill is there, yup, $1.15 . Ya know the new Smoothie King ? Well Giant Eagle and or Marcs has Bolthouse Blends for $3.00 or better yet , Savse . You can get the Blue Machine and or others for even less at Wal Mart .Ran out of characters
I place a to go order with the manger. He stated it would be about 10mins. After waiting for 30mins I asked if someone could check on the order only to find out it had been sitting. The same manager stated he didnt know I was waiting. Though I was sitting right in front of him. His statement to me was your food will be fine, is everything in the bag. Bad service

2022-04-03Excellent service and food. Highly recommend stopping here but definitely get on the wait list before going to save you from a long wait upon arrival.Pictured: The Morning Mediation Juice, Elevated Egg Sandwich and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Excellent!

2022-04-22First time trying this breakfast spot. Not a lot of options for a vegan/GF diet BUT the avocado toast & potatoes were tasty. The coffee was fresh and hot. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Probably won’t be my first choice for breakfast next time but overall not a bad experience.

2022-02-223rd? time here, really enjoy it. Wish it was closer. They were quite busy but we did not have to wait long to get a table. Service was good, the food is always yummy, and the portions are generous. Great variety on the menu, my husband got the omelette with everything and I got the special cinnamon chip pancakes. Food came pretty quickly it was hot it was prepared as we ordered it our server checked up on us periodically. They also leave you your own little pot of coffee which my husband loves. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch

2021-07-09I am a frequent customer and loved the new Mexican style breakfast. I decided to get it to go one day and that was a bad mistake. I was told 10-15 minutes. I arrive about 15-20. I asked the hostess said it would be up shortly. After about 30 minutes I had to ask about the food as I had to get to work. Come to find out it had actually been sitting the whole time under a completely different name. It was cold, nasty and I’m extremely disappointed. I took one bite and threw away. All the hostess said was oh sorry. The first picture was the great meal I had on-site and the last was the takeout. And my name is not even close to Kathryn!

2022-06-03If you’ve never been here, go. Everything is fresh, clean, and tastes amazing. Coffee is left at the table to help yourself. Rotating seasonal menus keep things interesting. I have only tried the breakfast, which every time is divine and we come back usually once every other week. Never had the lunch. Biggest con is they can be busy, check the app for wait times and to join the waitlist.

2022-02-19Advice for anyone doing an online pickup order. Adjust your time at least 15 minutes before you want to pickup your food. They do not value your time here. In January it took 22 minutes past the scheduled pickup time to get my online order and I thought it was a fluke. Today, one month later it took 18 minutes past my scheduled pickup time to get my online order. Food was good but I do not like being crammed inside around so many people waiting and waiting.

2022-07-12I definitely enjoyed my chorizo hash (on the specials menu) and my sister really liked her avacado toast. The decor and atmosphere is a carefully gentrified country feeling and I really liked that they brought us personal coffee pots. The only are for slight improvement is that we were in a back booth and didnt quite see our server often enough. Still -- Ill visit again for the good eats.
