PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE AT ANY FIRESTONE!!!! 9/27/21 I specifically explained 3 times that I would like to do a tune-up, an alignment and check ALL the normal wear and tear, Cuz I havent had my car serviced for quite some time. so general maintenance to anyone is tires, brakes, hoses,fluid things that u normally need to service due to normal wear and tear. $800 later I thought I was ok and they did all that I needed...Well 11/14 almost rear-ended someone cuz my brakes went out on my car, The scariest thing Ive ever been through. I Called Firestone and had it towed back. And lets just say thats when all the craziness, chaos unnecessary stress and anything that can go wrong did. As of 11/14 Im still without a car die to the 3ring circus that manager Jonathan and his worthless helper Jess. On 11/14 my friend was with me and heard the whole conversation they said $500 to fix the metal brake lines that are so rusted and corroded but they didnt see that on 11/27 4 days later its now $1,300 the same metal brake line, I need rotors, pads bearings ect, AND Im told theres $7,500 3pages of issues ...And yes the brakes/repairs is ALL that I asked them to look at on 9/27. According to Firestone in black-and-white estimate they gave me my car is unsafe to drive. IF they would have told me on 9/27 ANY/ALL the issues I would not paid the $800 and looked into a new car back in Sep. The unprofessionalism, disrespect literal trauma the store manager Jonathan cuz me is not something that anybody should ever go through, Jess the whole store gives the brand Firestone a bad reputation and I cant even comprehend how many other people they do this to.on 11/18/21 is when I reached out to corporate several times explained several times when the best time to call me and it seems the 2times DAN from corp called me is while Im at work and couldnt answer. I am mentally physically and emotionally drained from this Firestone...to my surprise friends and family are telling me theyre horror stories. I think Firestone is a good company they just made some bad decisions on the handful of people they got running some of their stores.
Unbelievably bad experience. Had a 1pm appointment to have a tire fixed (nail) and front desk guy told me could be 2 hours. That’s would have been nice to know when I made the appt. waited the two hours to have the tech come out and tell me based on where the nail was they could not fix and had no replacement tire in stock. This simple visual inspection could have been done 2!?! hours earlier. One of the most ridiculous service experiences I’ve ever had.
I needed brake pads changed on my car. My husband usually does maintenance on my van but we have been busy so he took it to firestone on Hamilton. They called a couple hours later saying the rotors are bad too. They wanted to charge us close to 600. It didnt seem right so my husband asked them to just change the brake pads. Thankfully we had a good coupon. It ended up being 70 for just the front two. My husband bought rotors and took it apart and the routers are fine. Now we have to take the rotors back. Our mechanic is out of state so we are going to have him take a look at it. Thankfully my husband is knowledgeable if he wasnt we would have spent so much money we didnt need to. We are used to our mechanic always helping us out being honest and saving us money. It sad what some mechanics do to get extra $. If it sounds a lot look it up. They are definitely upcharging on labor.
Probably the worst place to have your car looked at for any thing at all. Yet the greediest place. Staff are poor with customer service and KNOWLEDGE. The last time I went there was for a very simple task which is putting a new set of tires on a great condition base model truck. They could not even take a bolt out because they did not even want to try. They simply wanted to charge me 200$ to get it completely replaced. I took the truck down the street and it was done in a second. Came back to them, and they were livid lol like immature kids. Since then I have a light of Tire pressure system that they broke off and refuse to repair. HORRIBLE PLACE AND A WASTE OF A GOOD SPACE.
The entire team at this Firestone location went above and beyond my expectations. Starting with my phone call this morning needing a new battery John was willing to work me in to todays schedule. I arrived and he did as he promised...worked me into their busy schedule. Thank you Firestone!!!
Terrible communication from the employees. We needed a tire replaced. They lost the tire, ordered the wrong tire, and then refused to put the new tire on.When I asked to speak with the service advisor, he refused. This has led to a loss in confidence and a terrible customer service experience.Do yourself a favor, do not work with this branch of the company until they have significant staff turnover because what they are doing at this location isn’t working.
I have been coming to this location since last year but after yesterday I will go somewhere else. This is the second time where I have dropped my car off for just an oil change and they do not communicate with us about whats going on. My husband and I dropped off my car at 7am on Saturday because they told him the early we drop it off the quicker they will be able to get to our car done. 11am came around so WE called again to see how things were going and they said two more cars ahead of us and they will be working on it. 5pm came around and still no call from them so we went to go check personally and they said they needed one more hour but they will be closed by then so we should pick it up in the morning on Sunday. Why couldnt they have called us and tell us that it wouldnt be ready by closing time?! Communication isnt really that hard to do and Its disappointing how they handled this situation. I am so upset that this had to happen a second time.
Used them for new tires for my Civic because they had the best prices. The manager, Dave, took great care of me. Came back about 2 months later because of an air pressure sensor problem. Instead of charging me, they actually credited me back money because they said it should have never left that way in the first place. Ill be coming back for more care repairs. Appreciate that level of honesty and customer care.
Very good experience. Made an appointment for an oil change and a complete inspection. They discussed with me what was going on with my car so that I understood and gave me estimates of what needed to be fixed. I got out of there sooner than they stated it would take so that was great. The only fault is that the free WiFi there blocks websites like Hulu and Netflix, which was a problem cause that was how I was planning on passing the time during the wait. Other than that this location is great! Great customer service.
After a frustrating visit to a different Firestone, I was quickly scheduled at this Firestone location. Heather, went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that I was going to get done to my car. She went over details and specifics for my tire purchase and alignment on my car. They were also super kind to my toddler who came with me. I will be coming back for future car maint/repairs at this location. Price was reasonable, if not better than a dealer and the time that was taken on my car was a reasonable amount of time for the type of service.
Awesome staff and crew. Always pleasant and helpful. Consistent customer service. No matter what auto issue we bring, they take on the challenge of solving the problem fast and reasonable, so we can get back on the road. It is impressive that they know us by name, and know all our vehicles. Thanks.
I am leaving a 5 star for the thoughtfulness an caringness at this location. I have been going through such a hard time with this new car I bought less than a month ago. My brakes were all messed up, long story short after breaking down multiple times i pulled in at this firestone an they assured.me they would figure this out. Turns out it needed new break lines which they did for me for FREE!! They kept it over night an fixed it in no time!! An id like to say a big thank you to Tim for his hospitality an making me feel like firestone cared about my safety an making sure to correct the issue!! Of course I made an appointment and got in right on time. Dave the manager is great when it comes to keeping me updated. I TRUST this location as they never sell me something I dont need. To I did need a new cable on my battery and that doesnt surprise me because the car is six yrs old. I cant speak for anyone else but this ol lady will be a customer at this Firestone location for life. Man....can you see me driving my car in at 110 !! 🤔😉😎😁😂
Had some work done on my Ford F350 and was extremely satisfied with their work. I normally shy away from these types of stores because of some bad experiences in the past. I found the employees of this store to be extremely helpful and honest in their dealings with me. The one thing that I went in there to have them check was my front end steering which developed a wobble even with the slightest bumps and really bad if you hit a major bump. They could have easily said that I needed some major front end work and I would not have known the difference. After further inspection, determined that the front shocks were bad and suggested that I replace the front and rear shocks which took care of the problem. To me this type of treatment speaks volumes about this store. Thank you all for being honest.
Took two hours to patch a tire with an appointment!!! When I voiced my dissatisfaction as I had to wait for the repair on my lunch break and had to use personal time to get my tire fixed (since I am not allotted a two hour lunch)they had me email corporate. Best part is no one ever followed up.
I get my oil changed with them every time and have never had any problems or anything but good experiences with them and there employees. In most cases the person running the counter ends up playing with my daughter or trying to make her more comfortable wile we are there. :) great job guys and thank you!
Each Firestone is different. Ive used many across the country in the many places Ive lived and they are widely varied, in my experience, in quality and capability. The store in Columbus Ohio is excellent. Clearly they are not out to make a buck but instead they are trying to succeed with customers. I trust their judgment and wont hesitate to return. This store is highly recommended.
The oil change is supposed to include a tire rotation, but I was told they couldnt do it because the front tires were too worn - which would be a good reason to rotate them. My receipt mentions a declined alignment check, which I was not asked about, which Im assuming is because they didnt rotate the tires. I didnt appreciate not receiving the services I went in for, and will not be back to Firestone.
My car had a break noise issue and I was checking with multiple firestone locations and none of them could figure out the issue. This store staff could find the issue with break pads and rotors and the replaced the rotor and pads in the rear at no cost to me. Excellent service finally after consulting with many other locations. You wont believe me. I was telling this issue to almost 10 firestone stores. Happy that this store could rectify the issue.
I came in this week and needed a simple fix. It was busy, so I took a seat. Another person from a company came in, insisting to be served first. The manager was insistent but professional about the situation and told him he had to wait his turn. Thank you for going above and beyond.
I live out-of-town and had a flat. The weather was kind of bad and I didnt feel comfortable driving home on the spare. I stopped at Firestone Complete Auto Care on Hamilton Road. It was about 6:00 p.m. The hours online said they were open until 8:00 p.m. My hope was to repair the current tire or buy a new tire. I explained to the guy behind the counter that I was from out of town and wanted to see if they could help. The guy told me they already had a couple people before me and they only had a couple people there. They couldnt do anything until tomorrow. Thanks for the help and concern... Schedule employees better or close earlier.
This place is conveniently located within walking distance of my home so I took my car in for a check up because of some weird noises. I walked out with a recommendation for thousands of dollars worth of work that seemed overstated based on the age of my car and the relatively minor issues I was experiencing. My brother in law is a mechanic but lives in Cincinnati so before I spent thousands of dollars I took the opportunity to go visit him and have him check out my car. After he evaluated it he found that almost everything but about $300 of work was completely unnecessary. Needless to say, I will not be going back except maybe as a last resort for a simple oil change.
These folks move with speed, but also work hard to provide the correct diagnosis. My envoy crapped out with low oil pressure in the middle of the road. Firestone recommended a tow, saw my car same day, fixed the problem, and gave me the standard guarantee for the diagnosis. So when later my check engine light came back, they re-diagnosed, and fixed them problem gratis.
I was taking all of my cars here for oil changes. That is until my visit last week. They told me that the serpentine belt needed changed and I agreed to have it replaced. After picking up the car and turning on the A/C the belt squealed extremely loud. I was told that the A/C compressor was locking up and needed replaced.Second opinion from another car repair location: The belt was routed incorrectly and there was nothing wrong with the compressor.Additionally the voicemail that Firestone left for me stated that the cabin air filter was dirty and needed replaced, for $49.Really strange considering I just replaced it 2 months earlier and it cost me $8.Will never go back.
Way too expensive!Firestone - water pump replacement $602.Other shop - water pump replacement $342.Paid for the inspection fee of $10.74 and went to other shop and got it fixed. Saved approx $360 for the same parts and labor.I asked them why so much compare to other shop? They said that because they are nationwide and ASE certified technicians. Well I think other small shops technicians are certified as well.
Think twice! Went in for tire rotation and balance on an AWD vehicle and they failed to complete a proper rotation, fill my tires with air, and there is still a wobble, so I don’t know that the balance was completed, either, despite the fact that I waited for 3.5 hours in their store with a scheduled appointment. My brakes and rotors were also repaired, but who knows if that was done right, considering they can’t even check air pressure. This is why chain stores have a bad reputation. You also claim to have completed a full inspection, but it’s obvious that wasn’t completed either. They gave me 2 free oil changes for the long wait, but I’ll never go back. Not worth the risk. Find a trustworthy local mechanic, if you can.

2022-05-02I came in for a ck engine light. Johnathan was very helpful. He explained everything very clearly to me so I could understand everything that was wrong and all of my schedule maintenance intervals. Jesse and Tony were very fun and entertaining. The tech Matt was a amazing mechanic. He was very respectful and very efficient. I love this store and will send everyone I know to this store!

2022-04-21This Firestones customer service is excellent. Devin and Corey helped me and my husband when we found a bolt in out tire. They were friendly and moved quickly. They checked out the tire and let us know that it was not patchable due to the location of the bolt so they could replace the tire there but it would be wise if we checked with our dealership (who installed the tires) to see if there was hazard coverage that would cover the cost of the tire. We took it to our dealership and it did. They save use a good $200-$250 dollars by advising us this when they could have just charged us for a tire right there. I wish all businesses and employees had this integrity. I totally recommend this location if your looking for honest work on your vehicle.

2022-08-02Used them solely for all my automotive needs. They were responsive and professional. Messed up quite a few times but always rectified it. Recently I read they are in the business of price gauging so when the window regulator broke I took my van to them and they quoted me $588 which seemed very high for a $100-$150 part and a replacement that I could personally do in 3 hours. Called the shop up the street and they quoted 1/2 the price. If you want to use them they’ll do good work but will charge you a premium for the “firestone” name.

2022-05-19Came in for a new tire recently. They had a few different options to choose from and were extremely helpful in finding the right fit for my driving habits! They offered a complete inspection for 10 dollars and really overall helped me out when I was in a bind.

2022-07-05Had a free oil change scheduled, but also asked if vehicle warranty maintenance could or could not be done since I was close to specified mileage. Personnel was kind enough to check for me and even did some recommendations. I appreciate the services.

2022-04-29Went here on the 26th and paid over $1000 with them saying I needed a new fuel pump(they charged me $600plus for the pump alone, despite all the auto stores charging less than $300). Car was doing the exact same thing and not starting last night. I have a Buick Lucerne, fuel pump is under the trunk.Upon inspection, Im not sure they even replaced the fuel pump. Now have to take it back to a firestone to have them check it out. Also, customer service was poor. Paying over a grand and they dont even bother going over the paperwork with you. Extremely disappointed. Would have missed my commencement ceremony in Athens if not for a generous friend.
