Decent sub, but I ordered it 2 hours ahead of time and showed up to 1 or 2 customers in the store and inexplicably had to wait 20 minutes for my food to be done. Cant even eat it because I have to go straight back into work. Dont bother if you have any kind of time restraint.PART 2.Tried again because of the want for a decent sub. Once again Im left not eating at work because of incompetence. I ordered ahead again, and it turns out they were having a staff meeting at the time I had arranged to pick it up. As if they were somehow unaware of intending to close early. Never again.
The app for firehouse subs sucks!!!! My dad turned 75 today and the app said I could get a free sub and of course couldnt use the app to redeem for my free sub so of course I went into the store and they couldnt help me out either!!!! So I guess no more firehouse subs since it was to hard to help out a regular customer on my dads 75th birthday!!!!
When I ordered an Italian sub and Beef and Cheddar Brisket, the ham on the Italian sub was extremely sweet and the meat on the brisket was fatty. On top of that, both of the buns were soggy. I normally have good experiences with Firehouse Subs so thats why Im not giving them a lower rating.
I went in on Wednesday afternoon and the woman at the register was texting and didn’t acknowledge me for a couple minutes. After that she wasn’t the friendliest. She had a mask on below her chin so I’m not sure what the point is to even wear one. Food was good but very slow.
Food was great, but order process was absolutely horrible. I placed the order online and stated thatvI would be there 20 minutes later and the order was confirmed. I arrived approximately 3 minutes late. I was asked how my order was placed and I told them online and was here to pick up my order. I gave them my name and was told it would be another 15 minutes or so. I let them know that I placed the order over 29 minutes ago. His response made me even more upset. He excuse was We JUST got hit with a bunch of orders!!!!! We are super short staffed and its going to be another 15 minutes or so!!!!!. I told him to cancel my order then because I had to be at work in 10 minutes. Again, his response was it will be another 15 minutes. Just then another woman I assumed to be the manager on duty asked the young man what my order was. He gave her no response, so I had to tell her what the order was. All told, I ended being 15 minutes late from work. I called their corporate office to file a concern/complaint, I was told since all the locations were franchisee owned and that the incident that had happened to me is definitely NOT the way they do business and would send the store owner my contact information and would have him contact me. I will wait to see how long, if at all, the owner actually does call and his level of concernUPDATE----- The owner had yet to call to speak with me, seemingly not concerned as to what his e.ployees are or are not doing. I absoluty will be contacting their corporate office once again, advising them that THEIR FRANCHISEE seems to have no concerns with regards to HIS BUSINESS LOCATION. BBB, Ohio Attorney General, Yelp and other will most definately be advised of this FRANCHISEE BUSINESSMAN
Honestly, the wait is about 10 minutes, not that bad at all. Or you can order 20 minutes ahead online or by phone, and it will be waiting for you! Some people say they ask too many questions, but theyve always gotten my subs perfect. I love em. Best subs place ever. They do hot subs, so if youre a cold subs person, not your place, but if youre into hot subs, this place is divine! Great!
First time I was ever at Firehouse Subs & they were very good too.Prices reasonable & generous with their ingredients. Can call in & order for pick up carry out & they also have a drive through window to pick up your order.Not for sure but,they probably offer online ordering also!Staff very friendly!
Ordering online was easy, pick-up window was easy, got home and was missing items from our meal. I called and was only given the option to either come back and pick it up, or they could put my name on a board in the back for the next visit. I said I would not be back. The guy said, Okay, have a good night and hung up.
Subs were great tasting a d the manager helped us with pricing between platters and ordering just a few subs instead. One thing I will say is that if youre expecting an Italian sub like Subway, youll be slightly disappointed because its mostly ham, but it was still very delicious.
The staff was very friendly, and the sammiches are very tasty! You pay a little bit more for the sandwich compared to Subway, but the quality is unmistakable. They have plenty of sandwich options, so theres reasons to go back! They have hot sauces available for those that like to put hot sauce on their sandwich, and they have hot sauces that are no joke. Daves Insanity Sauce, Pain, and a whole bunch more. They label the hot sauces from 1 to 10, with 10 being the hottest. Check this place out!
The store was extremely messy and the food was very sloppy and thrown together with very little effort. I watched in disgust as an employee whose name i believe was cody actually scratch his privates with his gloves still on. All of the employees had bad attitudes and acted like they didnt even want to be there. The only employee who made my experience a little better was the cashier with the red hair who was very polite and even apologized for my terrible experience. This place definitely needs some order and new management. I will not be returning and i advise anyone to stay away from this place.
Not much done different from any other firehouse.Subs are better than subway which I haven’t had in a few years.1 question though.When the last time they cleaned the condiment tray and area. As well as trash lids.This need to be cleaned at least daily.You put drink lids and other things there.
Ive heard much hype about Firehouse Subs. Gahanna really needed another sub shop like it needs another pizza shop but I figured Id still give them a try. Underwhelmed is probably the best word I could use. We ordered 3 subs; My Daughter got the Steak and Cheese (meat and cheese only), My wife got the New York Steamer, and I ordered the Meatball. First off.. the amount of questions the girl behind the counter had to ask is off putting. I know places like their options but WOW... its really frustrating. The layout of the place isnt great either. Where you walk in everyone is just hanging around waiting on their food. Everyone who walked through the door had no idea where the line actually ends. Over all not a bad experience so far, just kind of annoying. So, we give a little wait and then our food is ready. Didnt take too long so thats good. We got it to go so we headed home. Now starts the fun... First.. My daughters sub was not Meat and Cheese only like we ordered, it had the onion and peppers on it, 2nd my Wifes sub didnt have any veggies on it. The menu reads that their subs come Fully Involved and then lists what that entails.. Lettuce, Tomato.. etc.. hers had none. IF the Fully Involved is just an option I cant believe the girl didnt ask that.. she asked EVERYTHING else... so many questions... We all ended up swapping around sandwiches in order to salvage the dinner as best we could. With all the other options in the area (Penn Station Im looking at you!!) we wont be going back to Firehouse. Just not worth the money.. at all.
The subs are very average, and not all that tasty or filling. I went several times when this location opened and every time it was subpar. I would rather have subway, jersey mike, penn ststio subs anytime. I ate at this location at least 4 times before writing of firehouse subs forever.

2020-07-22Decent meats for a decent price. The freshness is remarkable. This establishment appeared clean and well kept for the most part. There was a longer wait than expected for how many people were in the store but I assumed it was because there were a lot of online orders. The food was very similar to something I would have at home. The meats seemed lacking of flavor but wrent super salty like most deli meats. They tasted healthy which is not a bad thing. I enjoyed their selection of chips as much as the sandwiches.

2022-06-14While they were preparing food they wore no hat or hairnet while having long hair. They continued to hang their head over the food and flicking their head back. That is the most disgusting thing to witness while someone is preparing your food. On top of that the store was completely disorganized. Would not recommend to anyone.

2022-03-15This place is always dirty and the employees move so slow it blows my mind. There is no leadership. Everyone there has potential but not one person is driving the ship. The guy in front of me waited 45 minutes for their order. We are sitting at 25minutes for two sandwiches. There is mass confusion behind the counter and zero effort from staff. This place is a disgrace.

2022-05-27I love firehouse subs. But today among other days in the past they let the phone ring, and then pick up and hang up. I called back again to the line being “busy”. So I decided to go up to the drive thru to put my order in & they proceeded to tell me I would have to come inside to make an order. I had told them I purposely called to make a PICK UP ORDER because I can’t get out of my car & it highly upset me that they treated me like this. Will not be returning.

2022-05-26My beautiful girlfriend and I just met for lunch after moving to Pataskala. Firehouse subs is one of our favorite spots to eat and this place really embodies the hospitality of the gahanna area. Khearsten welcomed us with a smile, had some flair not just a greeting but acknowledging the customer and making you feel welcomed. The crew cut up my girls salad and fixed it exactly the way she prefers and even asked again if it was the way she wanted it. If your wanting firehouse and in gahanna or passing through stop by! Excellent food and customer service will be back!

2022-06-25I order on DoorDash then go to pick up the food. The instructions tell me to walk up to the express cart where my bag will sit. I walk in and see its not there so I take a seat on a bar stool. Can I proceed to watch four orders, get fulfilled and go out the door before mine and no one in there? Thought to ask me if I was there to pick up a DoorDash and that they dont keep them on the rack anymore because they get stolen. And nobody there had the brilliant idea to put up a sign that says such a thing. Instead Im sitting there for 20 minutes for cold food that I thought was going to be hot. Thanks to the staff at Firehouse for being so incompetent for not asking me if I was there for a DoorDash which they do not put their DoorDash orders on their rack as they are supposed to and then for two for not putting up a sign that says we no longer put our DoorDash orders on the rack please ask. I know your kids and this is your first job but have a little bit of common sense and critical thinking there kiddos

2019-06-28Firehouse Subs is a great chain with tasty options. I always go with the smokehouse brisket and a healthy slather of hot sauce. This location did not disappoint. Customer service was solid as well. The restaurant was clean, and there was a solid mix of sports on the televisions. All in all, really good experience.

2022-03-25So Im gonna start out by saying I love firehouse subs. Ive been at this location a few times with no problem. I came today for lunch and was very uncomfortable. Rhe woman who I assumed was a manager was yelling and insulting her employees. Talking to them like they were stupid. It was very uncomfortable. I was tempted to tell her to stop treating people that way. Yes I believe the employee may have been struggling and messing up, but there is no need to treat people that way. Offer them training or pull them aside. Dont continue to insult and embarrass your employees. Telling them theyre making things worse etc... on top of that putting her finger in his face yelling at him. Cussing and everything. This is not ok behavior. I understand the struggles of fast food, but treating people with respect goes along way. I sonappreciate the lovely young lady who walked into work not knowing the situation with a huge smile, handled the stress and awkwardness with grace and respect. She smiled, offered her help and diffused the issue. She should be promoted to manager and maybe train the others. Overall my sandwich that ibwaited 25 minutes for and was good especially because the nice employeenwho came in later made it.. I would have asked for my money back had that mean disrespectful manager made it. All I ask that you train your managers to please treat your employees with respect and dignity. You never know what somebody is going through.

2018-07-21When I walked into Firehouse Subs, I was greeted by most of the staff, with Welcome to Firehouse! The guy at the register who took my order was really friendly and pleasant. I ordered the New Yorker and it was perfectly put together. Will be going back to this location.
