Ive eaten at Firehouse probably a dozen times over the years, but only for lunch. No complaints. The food and service is always on par. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of menu choices. Id like to check it out in the evening sometime. It might be a totally different experience. Ill be back!
Been here for many years and always pretty good. Last 3 times not so good. This will be the last time. Experience is mediocre at best doesnt match the prices.Cowboy burger was good.Pizza was ok (Blaze makes a better pizza much cheaper).Wings (expensive $13 for 8 tiny wings) were dry and Im pretty sure not cook freshed. Appears pre-cooked and kept warm (they were brought out within minutes of ordering).Tacos were terrible, Carne Asada served cold, sent it back and came back luke warm. Pork tacos COLD not edible. Tacos were soggy, all contents just broke through, so be prepared to eat with a fork. Most disgusting thing.. I did not like the busser putting his bucket on my table while Im eating to clear a few plates. If you ever worked in food service you know where these busser buckets have been. Thrown on the floor and rarely washed beacuse their purpose is to hold dirty dishes. I dont think they should be slammed on a customers table while they are still eating. I dont need to see a bunch of dirty plates and food scraps! Repulsive.
The decor was very nice. The food was bland and tasteless. We ordered buffalo chicken rolls, Blackfire wrap and Salmon club. The items were under seasoned and over cooked. The menu items where great ideas but was executed poorly. The best thing was the fries. The wait staff was ok.
The restaurant is really cool and the menu is awesome.. they serve the beer from mad tree brewery.. they customize cocktail if you ask for.. the salmon the menu is good.. fish n fries sucks dont order this.. I have posted the dinner menu for your reference.. 6 -7 pm is the busiest time..
This just isnt the type of place for us. We must have much higher standards than the average person. Everything was over cooked and dry with no flavor. So much salt and pepper had to be added to the veggies to make them palatable. If you enjoy Applebees and the like you will enjoy your meal here otherwise pass this place right up and go to the Senate for a hotdog and fries.
Surprisingly not busy on a Saturday night, even though they are close to Kenwood mall at the holiday shopping season. Usually packed after work. They are a brewery, but have a huge selection of guest taps in multiple styles. Food is better than typical bar food. Parking lot fills quickly, especially when they have a private room booked, but that doesnt mean they dont have tables.
Excellent Draft Beer selection. I do like their Mile High Meatloaf. Their chili was passable and so was the Chicken Enchalada soup but nothing to get excited about. Revisit 4/20/17: The New York strip steak was very good. Good asparagus and also broccoli. The Key Lime pie was presented excellently and was very good. See pic.5/1/17:. Excellent fish and chips.
(Long but well worth the read!)This establishment used to be a great place to enjoy with friends, family, colleagues, etc., but after a recent visit I wouldnt recommend it even if it happened to be the last place on Earth.Their new menu (including kids menu) is abysmal at best. Enjoyed the side salad & beer battered fries. My family was ignored by multiple employees for over 30 minutes despite calling ahead. Once finally seated in a dirty booth with hair & food crumbs on the floor... our waiter arrived to take our orders; however, we waited for 10 minutes or so before reminding the waiter that we would appreciate some waters.Food & additional drink orders were forgotten. We were lucky to eventually receive clean plates, utensils & napkins. Some staff were slightly friendly. Restrooms were absolutely disgusting. The entire ordeal (not meal) lasted 2 horrible hours. We were going to leave right as our food arrived after an eventful, exhausting day of activities.Bring your own snacks, bottled water and/or caffinated beverage if you want to survive.
They were out of most every beer we ordered, had to settle for a bud light because it was the only thing available. Food took forever but as soon as we asked amazingly it was available, we wondered how long it was sitting waiting for someone to come pick it up. We drove 40 minutes to try this place and wont be back.
Firehouse Grill is a Go To for the Blue Ash Cincinnati area. There is a lot of restaurants in town and Ive visited many over the years but only a few stick out as Good Food, Good People and Service, Good place all around to just go with friends or coworkers for a meal and drink. I have only found a few meals on the menu that look or feel generic(still delicious) and most everything else is unique and delicious! Service above all is just consistent and great!
Lots of outdoor space on a nice day which can be hard to find around here! Indoor space is also spacious. Friendly staff. Recommend the buffalo chicken rolls appetizer! We got a few different apps but this one went fast. Beer choices that are brewed onsite, plenty of good choices. Hadnt been here for years but Ill be happy to go back.
Nice outdoor patio, might get loud inside at happy hour. Food quality above average, pricing comparable to the quality and area (business parks). I dont come here often but will have to change that. A little too expensive for a semi-weekly lunch but good for a bi-weekly sit down meal. Very nice beer/drink menu for that Friday lunch!
Had to ask the waitress twice for straws & refill on water. The salad which should be simple had a huge end piece known as the core from the head of lettuce in it. Was not worth the money. The menu was horrible no steak no chicken dishes. Had to ask twice for a to go container. The staff were dressed in street clothing not professional. Will not return & we waited forever to be seated no one was there at the entrance to greet & seat.
The cowboy burger and firehouse pasta were good, the salmon burger was okay, but dry. The kids mac and cheese smelled weird and tasted worse, not only for my five year old, but to the three adults and other toddler at the table. Unsure if they used a different sort of cheese or if it was just over expired. The kids pizza was okay but not very good. Side of fruit was DOLE mandarin oranges. The servers were friendly and efficient. though.
I had the firehouse steak salad and it was amazing!! I normally only eat the awesome buffalo rolls, but Im on a diet. Service is perfect. Great atmosphere. The owner even walks around and makes sure everyone is satisfied. Every entree I have ever ordered is the best bar food you will ever taste!
Friday night ...Update... went back tonight. Took about 20 min. to order a beer! Food was okay. Service was slow, at best Salmon Club had the tiniest piece of salmon. Tossed at least 1/2 the bun, as it was empty. Waste of $$. Fries were excellent!Thursday night...Walked in at 9:15p to be told they would not serve us one beer each since they close at 10p. 45 min early? So much for visiting a local place while in Cincinnati. 🤬
I really like this place. We were seated and served promptly. The food is really pretty good and they have a nice selection of beers on tap. I have only been there for lunch, but I will be coming back for dinner. The appetizers were great. I tried the fried pickle spears and wings. Both were very good. My burger was a bit pricey, but it was very good. I dont mind spending a little more for a better burger.
The food was really good but our waitress was flaky. She would forget to come back with our drinks or take the order like she said she would. I would have had more leeway if the place wasnt almost 50% empty and you visibly saw more staff than tables dining. But the food was good enough to get the stars up to 4 and the beer and drink selection was decent. The Hawaiian pizza was a sweet and spicy amazing experience and the spud ball things are a winner.
We liked it! The staff was accommodating concerning my food allergy. Our server made a nice custom side spinach salad for me. We shared the steak and potatoes entree. The potatoes were great as well as the vegetable medley. The steak was delicious but could have been seared a bit. We had the cheesecake dessert with raspberry sauce and that was great as well. Great choice!
Weve visited this establishment several times because its convenient for us. I havent written a review because I honestly dont like leaving negative reviews. Its never been a horrible experience, but never outstanding either... Mediocre at best service wise, but the food is always good so we continue to go. However we went in tonight and had a much different experience. The food was good as it always is but the service was stellar. Donna served us tonight and she was wonderful. Never waited on a thing and never even had to ask for anything. She anticipated every need before we needed it. She was pleasant, attentive, and kind and really made us feel at home there. They werent terribly busy tonight but she seemed to constantly keep herself busy doing little odd jobs around the restaurant while several other servers just stood around chatting. This evening was most definitely the best experience weve had at Firehouse period, and really the best service weve received anywhere in quite a while. Seems like something is changing there and its for the better!!! Kudos to the Firehouse Grill for the improvement and to Donna for the outstanding service!!
Good pizza!UPDATE: I was just there again last night with a friend and had their pizza again; it is still very good. Our waitress, Jessica did a great job of helping us with our decisions on which beers would suit us and suggested the parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to go along with the pizza. We were there for quite a while and Jessica made sure that we were well taken care of.Well be back!
Went with a group of 7 ladies. The booth was large enough for us. Our server was excellent. The menu was large and everyone enjoyed their meal. All large screen TVs are set to sports channels, of course. It wasnt too loud. There was plenty of parking. Not a fancy place, casual. Large selection of beer and wine.
Meh...definitely over-priced...food was ok just not worth the price.Fish from fish and chips were basically two tasty fish sticks...for $14ish there shouldve been four pieces that size. Fries were good.My first drink had a fly in it...bartender obviously fixed it after I brought it to his attention but probably wouldve caught it himself if he was a little more focused on his job...and it wasnt busy at all, sooooo...Craft beer I got wasnt great (sycamore blond)...I understand it can be a matter of taste but I used to deliver craft beer and Ive had a lot of them...this one just wasnt for me I guess.
The services were great, but two of the three meals were something less than great. The two were salads. The chicken was very tasty, but very tough and stringy. My salad(Cobb) was OK, not great and skimpy. The third was an outstanding pizza. The people up front were Super and our server was also very good.A bit pricey for the salads!!Very, very noisy.
Fairly wide assortment of local and national beers but they dont always have them all in stock. Wait staff is attentive and the menu is broad enough to satisfy most parties. Tonight I had a molten mushroom pizza with mushrooms, artichokes, and feta cheese. Quite good! I will be back to sample more of the menu.
First time here..I think Ive been working on getting time to go to this place for a very long time now and finally was able to make it. Had a business networking meeting today. Food looks well done and so many other things. I think this might be something to build on consistently.
A lady with a high pony tail, reddish brown hair with dark rim glasses served our table on Friday Jan 10th 2020. Once she took our order she never came back until it was time for the check. We tried to get her attention but she purposely avoided our table. She would rather set unused tables than to even make eye contact with us or to ask us how our food was. I would like to speak to the manager of this establishment. Ive always enjoyed coming to this location but after the service we received its unlikely that we will return. The food was great but our server purposely ignored us.
Went to this establishment last night (8/10/19)with friends for the music. Thank goodness for the company and music because the entire experience was terrible. Waited about 13 minutes to be asked if we have been helped. Finally received drinks. Ordered appetizer which was ok but when time for food terrible experience. Wings came out ice cold, salad specifically for a vegetarian and specifically asked for no chicken came out with chicken. Sent salad back for them to just pick the chicken off and give back. Requested a new salad again. Pizza came out underdone and 2 burgers came out over done and cold fries. Worst $80 I ever spent and yes I still tipped 20%. Overall terrible experience but the desserts were pretty good and drinks.
Overall the experience was better than good. They were a little slow but made up for it a free appetizer. We didnt even ask for it. Hosts were really friendly so you get a good first impression. The food was very good. I would absolutely recommend it and will go back soon.
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the quality of the service. The staff was very polite and helpful, in particular our waiter Adam, provided 10/10 service. The food came out incredibly fast and was very fresh. I wish more restaurants had the same quality staffing. Thank you for the wonderful night, we will definitely be back again.
Ive been there 3 times, first time the food was really good, service was great, although they forgot about our milkshake, but it wasnt that big of a deal. Second time the wait was forever, and they comped us for our appetizer. The third time was last night, we sat down right after we got there, waited 10 minutes to be served, I asked about a question on the menu and she said she was going to be right back with an answer but never did, the waitress refilled our waters, but didnt even acknowledge that we were there. After 30min of waiting and other peoples food came out, I flagged down the waitress to ask where our food was, apparently our ticket got lost. We got up and left. I wont be returning.
They were out of 3 of the beers we tried to order so we finally got one on attempt 4 after for each one they walked to the bar and checked. It took very long between service visits as well. A 45 minute happy hour turned into taking 1.5 hours after waiting to pay the bill. Usually its much better than this.
Hmmm. . . where to begin?? Took my daughter to lunch on the day she was going back to college at the end of Spring Break. We were literally the first customers into the restaurant when it opened for lunch. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. 25 minutes later, our lunch was served. No fried pickles. My daughters order came out incorrectly. Mine sat and waited for her replacement to come out. What started out as an already cold grilled cheese and fries became colder as I waited. The waitress had on a shirt that said Drink Up F*****s on the back (except no asterisks). Look, I know it was St. Pats Day and there IS a bar at this establishment but it is ALSO a restaurant where there were kids eating!!! I thought that was COMPLETELY inappropriate and unprofessional!! Lets see, what else? The menu stated that you could get fries instead of chips with your meal for $1.00) . Each of us ordered the fries and were charged TWO dollars each!!???? I dont know how you mess up a grilled cheese but mine was horrible. I asked for no bacon and it tasted like they put the bacon on and then remembered and took it off. The bread was soggy and the sandwich was cold. I would never go back to this restaurant. I was super disappointed!
The food was fine but unexceptional. However, the service and kitchen were really struggling. The restaurant was nearly empty on a football Sunday afternoon, yet our food took 45 minutes to come out. My wifes burger and fries were cold. Our waitress disappeared for 15-20 minute stretches while our drinks sat empty. Meanwhile, about 5 minutes after being seated, the temperature dropped about 20 degrees. Some employees had propped open a nearby exterior door (in the middle of the winter) so they could smoke. We had to argue with the waitress to have the door closed. All in all, this feels like a restaurant on its very last legs. I expect to see it closed next time I happen to drive by. Unless you are looking for slow, mediocre, overpriced bar food, I encourage anyone considering this restaurant to just keep driving.
I was a part of a birthday dinner and service was really slow. My husband and I brought our 1 year old and didn’t get our orders taken until 1 hour later. Never got a refill on our water and couldn’t find our server to ask for assistance. I don’t blame the server as much as I blame the management. There was about 40 people at the party with 1 server - that’s a pretty impossible task. I felt bad for our server to be honest. The food was good but that service alone gives me all the reason to never come back.
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner in one of the banquet rooms and it was wonderful. Thank you Terri for all your hard work and all the little extra things you did for us. The night went seamless and everyone had a beautiful time. The food was fabulous and the servers were in and out without interrupting the festivities. Loved it!The Kelleys
Went for a promotion lunch on a Friday. It was pretty busy inside but we got seated right away. There were 5 of us we all got waters. and placed our orders. Placed these orders around 12:15. Sitting there, sitting there, people around us are getting their food, We ended up asking for our checks around 12:50 because we only had an hour lunch. Our food finally came out while we were signing our bills and when we requested them box it up for us because we had to leave, the food runner just ignored us and kept passing out our food. The server then had to bring us out to go boxes and we had to put them in ourselves. When asked to speak to the manager, he came over and listened to what we said and said hang on let me pull the receipt. He comes back and tells us Well the server put in the order at 12:26 and shes really good about putting in the orders and it usually takes that long to get the food cooked and together and since you already closed out your checks we cant comp anything. Basically telling us to screw off. Couldnt give a gift card, nothing. Ive worked in restaurants and lunches should only take 10 minutes to cook and dinner should be 20. Thats pretty universal. Needless to say wont be going back for lunch.
My co-workers and I visit Firehouse Grill for lunch occasionally. Its a fine eatery. The interior is attractive and the food is good. The menu includes burgers, wings, and specialty pizza. Its a bit more expensive than fast food, but its also better quality. Firehouse is a nice sit-down experience.
Food was mediocre at best and was served lukewarm. It seemed like it had been microwaved to reheat it. The quality, service, and atmosphere does not justify the cost. For a sandwich you pay upwards of $12 to $15 dollars for something you could get at a local deli. It only comes with bagged chips...for the price it should be a salad or soup. I cant speak for their entrees whether they are worth trying but they didnt look like anything special when they were brought to a neighboring table. It seemed the prices were too steep for the quality and type of establishment. If Im going to spend the money they wanted for a steak or chicken entree I would choose a small local steak house that was not a sports bar.
Food is above average, and pricy. The bar area send to be the main attraction. Several tons allow groups to meet, and wait staff is fairly efficient in servicing the large groups. Flamethrower burger is probably the best thing here, closely followed by the chefs signature sandwich, which is grilled chicken with balsamic glaze. Had the street tacos last night and was not impressed.
Firehouse Grill is great! Lots of choices on the menu and a large draft beer list. The food has always been well prepared and the servers are attentive. In the summer, the patio is delightful. The inside has a couple of large rooms. The main room resembles a beer hall, high ceilings, large bar with seating around it in the center of the room. Kind of noisy during the dinner hours. Even though there is a large parking lot, often its necessary to park on the side street, but dont be discouraged, its a large restaurant bigger than it appears from the street.
It had been years since I had eaten here. I wont wait so long for my return because it was delicious! I had a balsamic chicken sandwich and it was the best sandwich I have had in ages. Marinated grilled chicken with sliced fresh mozzarella, onions, balsamic glaze, lettuce and pesto mayonnaise. Serviceable beer battered French fries rounded it off. My other companions had really good looking fish tacos, a chicken caesar salad and a cheeseburger. Since we all cleaned our plates Id say it wasnt only me that loved the food.
Decent food at a decent price. During the warmer months they have a very nice sitting area outside with a view of the lake. Only complaint is that if a server is new they should probably have someone experienced with them I tried to order a drink and it took 3 times to get the right one because the server didnt know the drink menu and put it in wrong several times.
This place looks like a nice steakhouse from the outside, but its just an above average sports bar. I came here twice in my three days in Blue Ash because its so close to the Courtyard Marriott we stayed at. I got dinner here one night at the bar by myself and the patrons were talkative, the food was good, and the bartender was down to earth and easy to talk with. I went here again for lunch with colleagues the next day, and it was packed. Again, the food was pretty good, but not impressive enough to me for 5 stars. They have a great draught beer selection too.
The experience from start to finish was terrible. Host sat us at a dirty table, the soft drinks and tea tasted terrible. Chili nachos were cold, tasteless & came out with a bay leaf in it... burgers were cold and gross. The fries were just about the only thing I ate.... I wish i could say the service was great but she was cut off the floor and wasnt attending to our table or her other table that was looking for her as well. She stopped by our table maybe 3 times. Manager walked by us several times to see barely touched food and didnt check on us or anyone else for that matter. This place used to be good but the past couple times weve been its been similar to the above review. I dont think we will be returning. The price i paid for that meal was ridiculous... i could have gone to sonic and gotten a better burger for less...
Good beer selection. Food was okay. Seems like the restaurant lacks leadership from owner/upper management from what I have heard from employees. Menus were unreadable from being so old, we were told thats because they are getting new ones. Little details like this seem to go without notice. This is probably my 5th visit and it has always seemed this way.
Im hoping they were just having an off night but our service was non-existent! After 2 hours we had no food and the waitress never came back and ask if would like a drink or anything and kept blaming the kitchen. Other people at our table were served and their food seem to be quite tasty but I would have no idea as I was never served my dinner. I cant imagine this is a common occurrence but it pretty much ruined the dining experience for me and I dont ever see myself going back.
Excellent spot for hosting a party! This past weekend I held my dads birthday celebration with 55 guests at Firehouse Grill and everything went great. We used the Sunset Room which has 3 walls of windows, so lots of natural light. (...but it was a little warm - if I have one suggestion its to figure out how to get a little more AC in there late in the day.) But a very nice room nonetheless, and Firehouse allowed us to add decorations that we wanted and worked with us on the setup. We looked at the other 3 rooms and they were also very nice, had natural light, varied in size. They dont charge for the rental of the room itself, so thats a huge plus!We chose the food from the group/party menu and had an open bar.Sarah, the group sales woman, was very accommodating and easy to work with. We made several changes to the standard buffet and appetizer menus and everything came out great. We even had a few things left over (but not much) for guests to take home. Overall the food was very good - no complaints from anyone. The very best part was absolutely the staff we had during the party itself. We had 2 servers, Matt and Taylor, and I cant even say how impressed we were with them! They managed all guests quickly and efficiently, made sure the food came from the kitchen exactly when it should, and even handled a few off-the-menu orders for people with special needs. They were AMAZING! Seriously, I cant believe 2 people handled 55 guests without a hiccup. Incredible!I would absolutely host another party or a business function at Firehouse, and Id ask specifically for Matt and Taylor! Good food, excellent service, very reasonable prices on food and drinks, nice setting - perfect!
We had a wedding rehearsal dinner with Firehouse Grill. The room was awesome, the staff was on top of it, and the food was excellent. Before the day of the dinner, we met with the events manager and the chef. Both were very professional and very kind.Great place for dinner, drinks, and a place to sit and unwind.
Went before the pandemic. Multiple people had recommended them, however, when we went in the server told us to have a seat and she was busy and she’d be with us within 20-30 minutes. She said no one showed up for their shift and maybe it was just that she was under stress but she was incredibly rude.
Potential is there - nice dining areas and our waitress was good; good menus options. BUT all the appearances of a restaurant that is on its way toward closing. Poorly organized. Very slow kitchen and some of our orders came out less than hot. No heat in restrooms. Twice a very cold draft where we were sitting as one of the staff propped open a back door while smoking... waitress tried to fix it closing an inside door. Too bad as could be a nice dining option.
This place used to be so awesome but the food seems cheap and doesn’t taste too good. The wait staff was too busy to give us the service I need(I’m a former waiter and I know how to do this job well, they have little to no idea how to make a dining experience fulfilling or engaging.) Also, I never saw a manager once. Most places have someone else checking on you during the meal but not here.
I was at a dinner party and I ordered my food. After everyone had gotten their food, I didnt get mine. They claimed they had lost the order. Finally, after reminding the waiter, he gave me my food. I took a bite and it was hot and spicy, and the menu said it was normal. Then, my friend didnt get her pretzel. The other food was good, but it was a bad experience
This was my first time here, even though I have driven by it numerous times between my hotel and office down when I am in town. I finally noticed it and decided to stop in last night. I had the Blackfire Wrap (sans onions and tomatoes) with a side of steamed broccoli. The meal far exceeded my expectations in portion and flavor! Sat at a low-top table, since those are normally away from the noise of the bar. The drink selection was amazing. I had to call our server back after ordering water to order a beer as she was speeding off to fill the water order. Server was friendly and overall attentive but I expect to be asked if I am also having a drink with my water, especially when a drink menu is given to us. I will be back.
I go to Firehouse once or twice a week. The food is good, but the staff makes the experience worth going multiple times a week. Friendly staff that goes out of their way. I see a few reviews where people are complaining about the food quality. I believe they just got a new chef recently and you can tell the difference in the quality of food they bring out now. I used to not care for the food that much, but kept going to support a local business, and my patience has paid off.If the parking lot is full, dont be afraid to go in and get a seat. The place is big enough where there is never a wait for a table.
Typical sports bar atmosphere: lots of TVs and a bit noisy unless you ask for a quieter area. I had shrimp stir fry and friend had lemon pepper chicken. Both were delicious. Only reason for 4 stars is the store was understaffed. (No dedicated server for patio dining, so inside staff had to cover it, causing long delays in ordering, getting refills, paying, et al.)
Food is tasty and averaged priced. I was super disappointed at lunch today because it was the nicest it had been in weeks and they did not take the time to wipe off a few chairs so you could enjoy the patio. Unfortunately, you will need more than an hour to dine at lunch, service is good but something slows it down.
This place is fantastic! If you come here to eat, try their buffalo chicken appetizers! You can literally make a meal out of those alone. Ive been here a couple of times and I am noticing that theyre adding new items to the menu. Which is good because their menu is lacking in the quantity department. First time I went, other then looking at burgers or wraps, the main items werent that appealing. But now, thats beginning to change. The service is good, the money is right on the nose in my opinion. Not breaking the bank eating here.Overall, I highly recommend this place.
Hosted an event in one of the event rooms.Had about 80 guests with no working air conditioning. We had to ask the kitchen help to stop yelling profanities that interrupted the seminar. Finally had to go back to the kitchen to get plates so people could eat. Our group spent about 3,000 dollars while we where there. I was forced to leave a 400 tip, and pay the bill because no one there had the authority to make an adjustment. After 3 followup phone calls, Julie told me.the owner was busy because he had family in town and would call. Its been over a week now.Very disappointing
Went there on a saturday evening with plans to eat outside. When we got there put our name in for 2 to sit outside. We knew we would have to wait a few minutes to be seated so we went to the bar and had a drink. Took close to 10 minutes for the bartender to take our drink order (the bar wasnt super busy). Hostess came to get us not long after we had finished our drinks to take us to our seats. We were seated between two tables that had people at them. We watched one table get their food brought out to them and the other table get drinks brought to them. Then a few minutes later the table that got their food got refills brought to them. We sat and waited for someone to take our drink / food order for over 10 minutes until we finally decided to leave. A waiter walked past us 3 times and never stopped to speak with us. My girlfriend spoke with the manager on the way out who told her he was sorry and that they were short staffed outside. My thought is if you cant properly serve the people in the seating area then dont seat people out there, it only makes your business look bad. He offered us free appetizers if we ever come back but not sure that we ever will. We spent an hour there and all we got out of it was the 1 drink each we had at the bar while waiting to be seated
Service was great, Friendly and attentive. The food here is just so so. The BBQ burger we had was boring. I know I can get a better burger in Blue Ash area for the same price.Wings were all heat, and no flavor. Like some kind of generic hot sauce. Celery wasnt offered with wings either, and its needed. With such a Upstanding looking dining room and surroundings, I want the food to be memorable. Its not. Its a lazy attempt at greasy- spoon fare.Seems they just wanna pour beer and not worry about the menu. This was our second and probably last time here.
We hold our annual fantasy baseball draft here in a private room; it takes 5-6 hours, and they always take good care of us. Food is great; I cant vouch for the beer myself, but my friends seem to like the selection. Internet access can be a little fiddly at times, but its better every year.
This is one of my favorite places to take friends. Their tap selection includes local beers and a variety of rising nationwide drafts, and also bottle and can selections. The food is great and service is always good. During the warm months the outdoor eating area looks out over a lake and is delightful.
Good food,. Terrible service. This was my worst experience at this restaurant. Waited over 15 minutes for drinks. The server was absent for over 20 minutes. We complained to the manager who was also serving tables. It was not a good restaurant experience. As stated, the food was good. It took a long time to get it. Im not sure if I will give this place another try.
Pretty good food. A lot of talk about the pizzas but I thought they were just okay. The burgers are massive and have a lot of flavor. For an appetizer, I suggest the buffalo chicken rolls. The real draw to this place is the beer. They a big selection, a majority of which seem to be local brews. They even have a place to buy a 6-pack or growler to take home with you.
I had reserved the private room for a 50th birthday dinner . When I arrived a half hour before the dinner begun to decorate i was told that someone called an canceled the reservation. Not true. I was very upset. Unfortunately we were still unable to get a private room but we were able to get 3 long tables together in an area off to the side. Turned out to be not so bad. The manager did make up for the inconvenience with several delicious appetizers for all 3 tables. The birthday girl was surprised. The night was successful after all was said and done. The food was yummy. Everyone was happy . I will visit again for dinner next time Im in town.
This place used to be good, but the last several visits have been horrible. Long wait times, even when they arent busy. 3 of the beers we attempted to order tonight were out. And the food is overpriced for what it is. Alot of the time the food comes out wrong. And the food is overpriced for what it is. With each bad experience Ive had Ive never gotten even an apology from management, so I dont expect them to really care about this review either. Sad it has gone downhill!
Delicious food with some focus on spicy. The chili is real meaty and slightly spicy and very popular. Basic appetizer menu and plenty if tvs. Dinners are very good and feature some unique twists on your basic sandwiches. Great beer selection with about 40 taps, featuring many local breweries. This place is also great for groups or just 2 ppl. They have 2 different size party rooms. Easy to see from the road. Parking is limited.
Great place for large groups. Bartenders and wait staff are excellent! They offer good drink suggestions and are very friendly. They have a wide beer selection, and are always getting something new in. Food is nothing to write home about, but everyone in your group will be able to find something.
We had a party of 6 and were seated at a small booth. We asked for a bigger booth and were moved; however, they didnt seem to remember we ordered an appetizer. The new server did not show up for some time. We ordered but had to remind the server to give us napkins and silverware. Although i.had the salmon BLT before, this time it was dry.
Beer selection is a 4.25. Food is a 3.5 for this type of restaurant. But I keep coming back in spring and summer because it was one of the nicer patios in Cincinnati. Service is friendly. Lots of room at the restaurant. This is the place Ive been going to try new beers from the area and have some decent appetisers. Food isnt killer, but it doesnt need to be.
Service was terrible food was nasty. Cheese was hard on a club I ordered and the steak had no flavor. Asked for it to be cooked medium brought to us bloody and the waitress wasnt even nice asked to refill our drinks only once right after we got them ....never going back . Terrible first time experience.
Good for business meetings/casual meetings in a casual settings. Sometimes it can get louder. Lots of outdoor seatings as well. Food tastes ok. Generally I have received good service. Plenty of parking, sometimes it might be tough to get a spot. I have not seen many families or kids. Several rooms to host office parties.
Its a good place for pizzas and multi cuisines like sandwiches, pasta and all other kind of routine food. Guys who booze can also explore some stuff like bottled on on tap liquors. However, if you are a teetotaler and vegetarian or vegan, you may find the place a little boaring, as I did.
The food is pretty good, not sure if its up to the cost vs quality equation though. The staff my last visit was deplorable, unable to accurately deliver drinks or food, when you were lucky enough to find the waitress to place an order. After the last visit, I really dont think well be visiting again any time soon.

2021-12-24My bud and I stopped by on Christmas Eve Eve (the 23rd.) for a couple of beers and stayed for an early dinner. The server said that the place would be closed the week after Christmas so the beer list was limited but I enjoyed the stout and Christmas ale that I chose. For dinner, I had the Firehouse Pasta which featured both chicken and spicy sausage with spinach and shallots. Though I usually do not like spicy stuff, it was thoroughly enjoyable. My bud had tacos with soft tortillas. He said they were tasty but the three were a bit on the tiny side. Dinner with four beers and tax came to $65.00 which isnt bad for the quality of the meal which we enjoyed (and prices are up all over after Covid... weve had far worse at comparable prices at other establishments). I highly recommend the Firehouse Grill.

2022-01-12I came here to attend a private luncheon event and the private area they put us was pretty good. Waitresses were very attentive. They seem to be friendly and know what they are doing. The group has private menu and I got the chicken tacos and it tastes delicious! The lemonade drink i got also tasted fresh. Everything went well except the WiFi. There were a lot of us in the group trying to acces it at the same time so probably main reason why it was not working. I will be back for the food and drinks but most likely wont be celebrating an event that requires internet access.

2022-05-27Wife and I stopped here for a date night as we drove an hour away just to try it. As soon as we were getting our table, we noticed our table was pretty dirty from the previous guests that sat there. We asked our hostess to please wipe the table off as there were food crumbs on the table and the seats. The food was really good as I had the fish and chips and wife had the pasta. The environment is pretty neat and they have a great selection of beers to choose from. 3/5 stars as the first impressions werent so great for us.

2022-06-26Food was pretty good, and the prices were average. Service was fast, and we got our food quickly. I wish they had a bit more hard ciders to choose from, but thats just a nitpick.

2022-03-25My Fish and Chips were delicious, generous portions and size and the flight of beers I ordered was delicious. The service was friendly and quick. Theres ample parking and the spaces for disabled customers were close to the entrance.

2022-02-05They have a limited menu in my opinion & its expensive in my opinion. $15 for a burger, $15 for 8 chicken wings, $5 for a glass of beer. They were out of a lot of beers. Service was good, food came out quick. Lots of outdoor seating.

2022-04-30We saw this place is BUSY when we arrived but we thought we will be okay. When we tried to order beer, we couldnt order flights because they were out of glasses. It was only 6pm give or take. And they dont have glasses anymore. We ordered a burger and a pasta. Burger came with no sauce on it, (Im not sure thats how it supposed to be.. Never had a burger without any sauce at all.) we needed to order extra sauce to make it edible. The food came without silverware. Asked for it but needed to wait again because it was clearly very busy. I was just sitting there and watching my pasta. Finally got silverware, my pasta was already not hot and very dry. That was it, we left. Probably not coming back.If you are understaffed, thats nobodys fault. I dont want to blame our server, she tried her best. But the part I dont get is, if you are that understaffed and cant serve customers with your normal standard, why do you accept that many customers? Accept as many customers as you can serve with your standard, but dont overdo yourselves.
