My boyfriend grew up eating Gyros and he said Firdous has been the best he has ever eaten. I thought tge portion size was great, pita was soft, and all the toppings were so fresh. The tzatziki was the best!
This place is a hidden GEM in Athens. I didnt know about it until I went to get bubble tea (they are together side by side in one building) and I am obsessed with their food. I love going in for tea and then a bowl from Firdous. Everything seems fresh, their house dressing is amazing and the staff is kind. I am sad I am a senior and only get to enjoy this wonderful food for a few more months. Go check them out!!!
Tried Firdous Express for the first time tonight and it was amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly. The menu is expansive with many options. Their hummus is out of this world. Will be going back again to try other menu items. Thank you!
We got two bowls - one with cinnamon rice as a base and one with lettuce as a base. The bowls are really large portions, so unless youre a big eater like my boyfriend, youll probably get two meals out of one bowl. Definitely take a second to figure out which sauce is going to be your go-to!

Really great food. We tried the gyro and chicken shawarma on pita. The Greek fries were delicious also! Will definitely be back to try more.

The food is good, and tastes fresh. The staff is kind. The place is clean. Couldn’t recommend it more! It’s my favorite place to stop uptown for a quick bite.

2022-01-05Best Greek food Ive tried in Ohio so far! My experience with Firdous was amazing! The food was delicious and fresh! The place is always clean and I love their cups (no straw needed). The service could improve, but I guess theyre just college students after all. I definitely dont expect top service for an express restaurant. Id happily drive the 59 miles again sometime soon!

Just really, aggressively bland.Ill start out with the good:Vegan options are always appreciated, as well as gluten free.Pita bread is cheap(and very good)and fries are bountiful.The falafel is definitely authentic, I believe its deep fried if you prefer that.As best as I can tell, this isnt a corporate chain, so if you want to avoid pita pit this is one of the Mediterranean options on court street.The meh:Most of the actual containers where decompostable and they had an option on the website to exclude silverware, but my pita still came wrapped in plastic and the carryout bag is plastic.The hummus bowl was very expensive for what I got(12 dollars at the time, plus 3 for extra falafel and a dollar for pita).I wish the fries where offered in smaller amounts. I definitely got 5 dollars of fries but they where meant as a side.And the bad:The hummus is very runny. I dont know if this is the traditional Mediterranean consistency but having made hummus it tastes very watered down.I cant place it, but theres definitely a herb in the falafel that doesnt mesh well with everything else.The fries got soggy very quickly because of the carryout box.Verdict: Not terrible, if you eat meat it might or might not be better. If I was going to eat here again Id probably order exclusively things other than the bowls.Edit:I did really like the fries though. Reminded me of carnival fries.

2022-07-20My family and I ate here for the first time today and a absolutely loved it! Even my toddler loved everything he tried. All the ingredients were super fresh and the flavors were so unique. I highly recommend the cilantro lime hummus, it was out of this world. Well definitely be coming here again!

2021-02-09I had Firdous Express delivered and I thought it was delicious. I ordered two gyro bowls, one with hummus as the base and the other with pita. The pita was incredibly fresh and the hummus was smooth and flavorful. All of the veggies were fresh and the whole bowl was topped with the House sauce which was yummy (the House sauce is a mayo based sauce with vinegar and lemon). My only recommendation is to order the sauce on the side next time.We also ordered a side of falafel, which was fresh, crispy, and flavorful, and baklava for dessert, which had distinct layers and oozed simple syrup. Overall, I definitely see this restaurant becoming a staple in my household. The whole meal was light and flavorful. The menu was simple, which allowed for each item to shine. Im looking forward to trying new protein options and appetizers.

2021-12-29The head lady was extremely rude. In fact in all my years of ordering at restaurants I’ve never encountered anyone so rude. She didn’t apologize or anything, even though she was in the wrong. I will never eat there and will tell everyone I know not to eat there. It sounded like she was one of the owners but I don’t see how they have high stars and she had such horrible customer service. The gentleman in the back that came out to help was very nice though.

2021-12-29Was very rude and didn’t want to serve me since I was delivering through UberEats instead of their drivers. I was just the driver doing my job. I was just there to pick up an order and pay for it and was disrespected. The thing I didn’t understand is that they were still getting business from the one I was delivering for. The head lady was literally not going to take my order because I wasn’t their driver. Don’t recommend any place who looks down on anyone.

2021-07-23This place is a hidden gem in Athens, OH! I have never had authentic greek food outside of gyros, but this place is super fresh, delicious, and unique. It’s a bit of a “greek chipotle” where you can build your own bowl or gyro in pita bread. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and it was super yummy and lots of it. I had enough to eat half for lunch and then eat the other half for dinner that night. The falafel was fresh and yummy as well. This is a great restaurant if you are vegan or vegetarian 🌱 There is something for everyone!

2021-04-29Really good food! The Greek fries are amazing (regular fries with feta and spices). The pistachio baklava was also great, and I dont normally like baklava. Easy online ordering process, and my food was ready before predicted.
