I contacted an esteemed attorney here in Cincinnati. I discovered the attorney does not handle the category of civil case which I described to his paralegal. They guided me to Finney Law. Although I had explored other options and legal representation, I now have absolute certainty: Finney was the right referral.No matter with whom I worked at Finney, each and everyone was timely, knowledgeable and professional in their responses.Ultimately I had an opening consultation with Steve Imm. What won me over was Steves forthrightness. He predicted and candidly shared what Condo Associations Board of Directors do, when faced with the type of problem within which I had become entangled. Bullseye.At the same time after reviewing the comprehensive and detailed documentation which I presented Steve, he termed the incident outrageous. His careful review confirmed it clearly was grounds for filing a lawsuit.He also definitively stated he believed me. He believed the jury also would find me believable. After a number of years of going to a number of law firms, trying to find a law firm that would take on a rather complicated court case, a colleague and I went to the Finney Law Firm. This was based on a recommendation from another law firm. We met with Stephen Imm and Matthew Okiishi who spent a great deal of time with us. The Finney Law Firm accepted our case after doing much due diligence. Other law firms had stated our case had validity, but shied away from taking the case. I believe this was because they regarded the case as time consuming having acknowledged the case could end up in higher courts. In short, they didnt want to assume the risks or time involved. Thus far, we have been very pleased with the thoroughness of the Finney Law and how well they communicate. I would highly recommend them.

Stephen took my $400 and listened to my discrimination case and said he can’t filed my complaint. It cost $400 to filed a complaint in federal court. He was negative like it didn’t happened to me as if I was crying wolf because one of my bosses was black!

I was referred to Stephen Imm at this law firm by the Cincinnati Bar Association. He was very unprofessional by eating while he came and sat with me discussing my issues. He did not seem very caring at all, even though somewhat informative. I had to pay the $50 first for the consultation. They obviously did this knowing someone would have walked out due to the unprofessionalism. I highly do not recommend.

Very rude, I called to set up an appointment with them and the receptionist hung up on me, believing it was a mistake I called again and she was reluctant to let me talk with anyone but forwarded my call to someone else then they hung up on me in the middle of my sentence asking to speak with someone about my issue. Called back immediately and my call was ignored. The statements on their website that says they care about community and people is an outright lie

2021-06-14I cannot rave enough about Finney Law Firm. Especially Tammy and Isaac. They were absolutely fantastic when it came to my brother and I handling my parents estate. We knew from the very beginning we were in excellent hands and knew that everything would be handled. Tammy and Isaac are wonderful people with great personalities and they helped immensely during a trying time in our familys life. They are friendly, personable, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. They stayed in constant contact with us. Told us step by step how things were being handled. 2020-06-18I was referred to Steve Imm by the Cincinnati Bar Association. I was in a very bad situation with a big loss because my previous lawyer messed up. I consulted quite a lot of other lawyers before calling Steve, and no one could help me at that time. After left a message with Steve, he called me back very quickly. Steve is very professional and have extraordinary experience. Within a couple of weeks, we had a plan for my case. With help from Steve and his staffs, I finally see my case turning to the good direction.I also worked with Isaac for my other business operational issues and personal estate planning. The experience was very good too. All staffs working at this law firm are very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. 2021-04-20DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I reached out to Finney Law Firm due to a clear case of wrongful termination. The first time I spoke with Stephen Imm he stated that he works on a contingency basis meaning that I would not owe anything out of pocket except for a $350 payment for the consultation and if he decides to take my case he will be paid out of the settlement once the case is won. I spent two hours explaining my case and informing Stephen of the details and chain of events that lead up to my wrongful termination. Stephen then told me that he would take my case but not on a contingency basis because the percentage of a win wasnt high enough. I feel that process was very deceitful because Stephen stated he would take my case but only if i paid for it out of pocket but that was not what i was lead to believe before the consultation. I was lead to believe that if he saw a case at all it would not require further payment from me. However, it would because it seems to me Finney Law is scared to have to build a solid case they want you to hand them a for sure win or you have to pay tens of thousands of dollars but nothing is a guaranteed win but this case is definitely able to be won by any half decent lawyer. My belief is that you hire lawyers to help you build an airtight case with the information you provide not have the client build the case. I feel took. The only reason they got two stars is because he gave me some halfway decent directions on state resources that i can file complaints through but the more and more i think about it if I feel that i was mislead when it comes to the contingency vs payment to retain. If you can find a lawyer that has a free consultation go with them before Finney.
