Picked up my heritage around black friday for a pretty sweet price compared to everywhere else. I feel like they usually have slightly higher prices but no doubt you can find some pretty good deals there.

Everybody here was friendly and knowledgeable in the firearm department. The store had a great selection of Fall clothing, but I would love to see bigger sizes in the womens dept. Some of us gals hunt AND cook 😂. Really, its a great store and Ill be back!! Thank!!

This is the best Fin around. I drive here from Akron almost every week. This one usually isn’t as busy as canton. The guys at the firearm counter are very friendly and offer alot of knowledge. If you’re looking to sell firearms here they basically told me you will get 50% of what you paid if it’s in like new condition. So that’s one thing I don’t like, but for the most part all the other shops do the same thing. They participated in the ammo gouging of ammo-geddon too. But again every shop did the same. For the most part prices are back to normal except ammo is still 20-30% more expensive. They usually run sales on ammo/firearms so you can get a good deal. They have a good clothing selection! They actually have tall sizes in carhartts. That’s kind of unheard of unless you want to buy on Amazon. Stores run well like an oiled machine, very clean and tidy. Easier my favorite store in the Youngstown area! Highly recommend this place!

My girlfriend got a gun there. The guy seem to be knowledgeable. He was nice. It was pretty cool place. Didnt really look around a lot but it looked like they had about anything you would need.
Always liked this store a lot but when i noticed they have a store policy in regards to doing background checks that include those with a conceal carry permit. According to and for the last 6 years the ATF has sent out reports to Federally licensed dealers that there is no need for the customer to fill out an application every time! They know this law and they continue to make the customer fill out forms and wait until it goes through to purchase a gun! Stupid. Wont be back. There are other guns stores that honor the permit.

They have quite a large stock of firearms and some ammo.I generally really like the store but they are jacking up the prices on ammo. Approximately 7$ more for a box from 1 week ago. Cant be mad though, supply and demand.Fairly large selection of hunting apparel and firearms accessories.
I love this store. I have been using them as my go too gun store for about three years now. They always have fair prices and reasonable sales. The workers are super polite and they go above and beyond. One of the gentlemen at the counter helped my mother out with some .380 ammunition even though he wasnt supposed to go into the stock. Outstanding and I would only ever go to Fin to get my guns and outdoor gear.
Definitely not a female friendly business. I went to purchase a firearm today & was treated rudely due to someone else trying to purchase the same firearm earlier in the day. He assumed I was purchasing it for someone else & was very rude. He got loud & told me that he informs every female about the consequences of purchasing for someone else. As if, women cannot purchase firearms to protect themselves. I would rate ZERO if that was possible & I won’t be returning for business!!!!!
The store at the time of my visit was very well stocked from ammunition to their clothing to everything it was it was a good experience overall prices are pretty tight didnt see any major sales.

I would give 5 stars if theyd find a new cashier...a blonde girl rang me up when I bought something for my boyfriend and when it was my turn she kept talking to people Im front of me & I waited patiently for her priorities but then when I finally thought shed take care of me she starered texting first on top of thay which I found extremely unprofessional & extremely rude.... but I will say the guys back by the gun were rather helpful with information instead of snobby which I greatly appreciate! Thanks to the men who helped me with my boyfriends Christmas gift and made me laugh and smile and more informed instead of making fun of my lack of knowledge. Props to you guys.
This is a great store. Hunting, fishing, camping; even safes are available for purchase. Whats more, if you want to get information on firearms, their staff is patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Great place to shop.
I knew what I wanted when I went in. But service was prompt and friendly. Got in and out fairly quick. Overall I was very satisfied with the level of service and promptness they showed. Will be back to shop here again.

I call the store before driving all the way over there to make sure they had the ammo I needed in stock. Guy on the phone tells me they have it in stock, but when I get there not one box could be found in the store. Thank you for wasting my time and my gas.
Youd think a store about hunting and outdoors would have the same boring rifles that cost $5000 and all do the same thing, but no. Exotic firearms of ALL shapes and sizes, and for very good price. Usually under MSRP on manufacturers website. Some more rare ammo can be found here, including 5.7x28 and sometimes 8mm Mauser. Also has a section for used guns that are usually some hidden gems for some INCREDIBLY cheap prices. Have bought a good handful of firearms off these folks and have never regretted it. Good stuff all around!
Huge Selection of what you could be looking for! Sometimes you just have turn an walk away out this place to stop you from spending over 1,000$. Would be 5 star if your workers knew about the rare guns you bring in. Maybe have more than that rare gun to let your workers understand to help the customers more.

Employees walking around chit chatting with each other. Not interest in helping you, unless you have a skirt on. I couldnt believe that I was never asked if I needed some help. I was in the store 20 min. Employees walking all around me, never said a word. I walked out and went to Walmart.

I liked it at first. But not after this trip. Drove 30 mins there. Had to wait in the rain outside in line to enter another 15 mins / Then to do a simple return, I had to wait in a line with Laway, and gun purchases that is taking another hour. Once the return is done I was going to buy more gear but Im not going to waiting line shop then wait in another line that is stretched half way across the store. Management get it together. Get 1 line for returns, 1 line for layaway and 1 line for firearm purchases. This is poor management

Great selection, good sale prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They can answer just about any question you throw at them, and if they dont know the answer, they steer you to someone who does. Thorough explanation of background check as well as merchandise to put a new gun owner at ease. I buy all my familys firearms and archery supplies here.

Customer service is good, prices are great, and they finance. Only 2 miles from my house. I could do with a little more selection in rifles, but they have the most popular. Handgun selection is pretty good, but mostly just popular ones. All the ammo you want. Everything you need for hunting, fishing, sport shooting, and more. Nice place.
I cant speak highly enough about this store. The employees are great, helpful and knowledgeable. I carry a great assortment of pistols and rifles as well as ammo. Their fishing equipment and supplies is always well stocked. Stop in, see for yourself.
Went to buy ammo. Like everywhere else in town they were sold out. If you love hunting, fishing,hiking, or camping this is the place to go. Very helpful staff.

This store has a large selection of guns. As of 2019 ammo prices are also great, they always seem to have sails. Though that can easily change with supply and demand. The store also has a great selection of non-firearm related sporting and outdoor goods.

This store is just awesome, went in there to look at buying a good conceal and carry gun. The Rep helped me out tremendously and helped me pick the right one for me. Also Love the Layaway option, it makes buying stuff so much easier.
As an inexperienced gun person who was looking for a pistol for home protection this was about the best place I could have probably went. Super attentive and knowledgeable staff at the gun displays. Gave me a lot of useful information and i generally felt more comfortable about potential gun ownership. I didnt but the day I was there but when I do decide on a purchase they will surely have my business.
I was enthusiastic when this store first opened up and the prices on guns could not be matched by anyone locally that I was aware of. Naturally since they have gotten a foothold ; the prices have risen slightly but not unreasonably. There are plenty of people to help you at the gun counter and they are eager to help you whenever you need assistance which is to be commended. The weakest link that I see in the store is there shoe department because you cannot find the shoes to try them on nor can you find anyone to help you they have a display of what is supposedly available but where they hide their shoes and boots remains to be seen because there was never anyone there to ask. I have seen many bewildered would be boot customers wandering around aimlessly needing help only to wander off to Buster Browns . Reloading equipment and components such as powder bullets and Brass is actually very good.
I ordered a Liberty Lincoln safe on September 17th 2020. I was told at the time that Liberty was running a little behind and instead of the normal 90 day lead time for a custom order, that it would be more like 100 to 120 days to get the safe. It is now May 4th 2021 which is 231 days since I ordered the safe. At about 140 days out I contacted Fin Feather Fur to inquire about the lead time on the safe. I was told that they have no way of knowing when the safe will ship and that Liberty is running way behind. I contacted Liberty Safe directly and their customer service told me that Fin Feather Fur could easily look on their order forecast sheet and see when the safe is scheduled to be made. They also said that only Fin Feather Fur knows my order number so only Fin Feather Fur can look up my order. Liberty also gave me a contact name and number to the Fin Feather Fur employee in Ashland Ohio that was in charge of the orders for this region. I contacted this person and I was told that my order was delayed because of the color I ordered and I was told that they would look into my order and get back with me. That was in mid March of 2021. I have called and left messages with Fin Feather Fur and never heard anything back. My calls are never answered or returned. According to the Liberty dealer in western Pennsylvania an order is received by Liberty corporate and with in about 4 days the safe has a scheduled build date and a scheduled ship date. These dates may move as conditions change but they can be viewed by the reseller. My advise is to buy a Liberty Safe from a Liberty Safe Dealer and do not buy it from Fin Feather Fur.
Very nice selection for a store. However, Id like to see a bit more archery selection. We do live in Ohio and our bow season is longest for deer. You know what would be awesome? An indoor archery range to try different bows.
Very cool place. First time going there...looking for a gun. Sales man was very helpful and understanding with me. I will definitely be going back. Very clean and overall a very nice place.

Heard some good things, so decided to be a first time visitor. Great selection of firearms, ammo, reload supplies, etc. BUT the prices tend to be WAY overpriced, particularly on firearms. I understand the desired to support a local store but you can definitely find the same items for lower prices at other stores. Clothing lines tend to be WAY over priced, and designed for wanna be yuppie city wear. Nothing designed for real work outdoors. Wanted to pick up some fishing lures, hooks, etc, because the prices were great, but the sales rep in that area couldnt be bothered. Firearms sale staff was extremely helpful and answered all my questions even though I wasnt buying.
Before you order a gun online, check here. The selection is the best Ive seen anywhere. They always have ammo. Even during panic buying times.
Beautiful store, good variety. Used weapons are overpriced. They only offer 2% military discount, thats not even enough to cover the tax (kinda pointless).
The store is always clean and the selection is great but I cant get over the rude staff behind the gun counter. It wasnt always that way and its not every salesperson but it has been a trend recently. I think Ill take my business to one of the countless other quality shops in our area.

The staff is pretty knowledgeable in each of their own areas. They used to have a large selection on hand. Now the stock is very limited mainly do to the changes in government driving up demand.
Dont ever buy a gun there a got a defective anderson ar and it dont eject the bullets I tried to take it back but they couldnt do nothing for me all they can do is send it back to the manufacturer

Large variety of outdoor stuff. Mostly good to excellent quality. Prices are a for the most part are a bit higher than you would find on Amazon. Some items are significantly more than other places. Overall, its a great place to find quality outdoor items. They have a indoor archery range to test bows and crossbows. 4 stars only because of inflated prices!

I love this place. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. They have just about everything you need for hunting, fishing, firearms and supplies, clothing for the occasion, and accessories.
Pretty nice place, staff is helpful and they have a wide variety of stuff you can get here for outdoorsmen activities. I picked up a pair of work boots here, they also have Tac boots like 5.11s here as well, which impressed me.

Awful customer service! I brought in two nice .22 rifles seeing how much they would give me so I could put down on another gun and he told me they were trash and he didnt want them and said that maybe I could get $25 for them! So ignorant and he was going to get my business! Not anymore I wont go there again after that! What bad customer service you dont say that to customers no matter what you think about what they bring into your store so bottom line they wont be getting anymore of my business!!!
Frequent store regularly for all my outdoor needs, entire staff is awesome, friendly and helpful and rarely have to wait for help. archery and firearm departments chock full of friendly, patient and VERY knowledgeable staff, great selection, pay a bit more at times for some things but it is worth it due to entire staff effort and attitude, GREAT FOLKS!!!!

Great outdoor store, fishing section and archery section are great and so is the gun counter. The hunting section doesnt have as much inventory as Gander Outdoors but makes up for it with experienced and knowledgeable staff.

It took them 3 days to get my order to my doorstep durring the covid 19 Hysteria.The last time I ordered ammo from a different company it took 6 weeks. This is the only company I will use for ammo.

I will not shop here again i bougt a climber returned it bc it was to heavy didnt take it out the box but opened it the lady almost didnt return it so I bought a hang on that the dud was so eager to sell me i explained to him that I didnt want to carry a heavy tree stand he said a climber im like is it light he said ya I looked at it ya its light cool i said when there is such a thing us a saddle that I would of bought in stead not i cant return the hang on the lady said this sail is final now your return policy says if u didnt open it u will take it back waist of money and the lady at the deck was so rude.
Not only are their primers over priced, they have consistently raised the prices this past month. It’s ridiculous I’ll gladly drive twice as far to get better prices.

Its a great place to shop! I was happy to hear that theyre not going to be like Dicks Sporting Goods & Walmart and move their age from 18 to 21 to be able to buy guns and ammunition. Not only am I a strong supporter of our 2nd Amendment RIGHTS, I am pleased that Fin Feather Fur Outfitters recognizes that it is not their job to undermine legal rights of their customers.
The fishing gear they have here is unbelievable. I was actually shocked the first time I walked in and saw what all they had. Instead of waiting for online deliveries, I can walk in here and get what I want. Also they have a bow tech in the archery department who REALLY knows his stuff. Ask for Josh. Ive went through my first three months back at archery after 20 years with his help and my gear is in top shape when I leave there.

Most Rediculous Hours to be opened. Ever since the store has been opened, I have only been in there once or twice because they have abnormal hours of operation. How about be open everyday 8am to 6pm would be way better.
My first contact was to make a purchase...greeted immediately..VERY NICE people...second contact was to have a repair on an OLD gun...greeted immediately...repair was expertly done...VERY NICE people...safe to say their NICENESS is GENUINE!! Prices are usually quite competitive and the staff in the firearms area is very helpful and knowledgeable, a much better place to shop than Miller Rod and Gun.Not a good FFL holder to ship to however, price is high and it must be first shipped to their main location. There are many local FFL holders with better prices.

One of the best outdoor stores in Ohio. The canton store is still my favorite but with the boardman store being closer I go there. They carry a big range of ammo, guns and tactical supplies, clothing and fishing supplies as well.
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality products and generally, quite nice staff. They have just about everything you need for the most part. All in all, its my go to place.
Overpriced on most everything.Had a used revolver selling as new.Used hand guns over priced when compared to what new would cost elsewhere.I use fin as a place to do price comparison now after realizing that prices are not very good.

Just left that place have bin in there several times before. This time was my last Horrible service, the rudness to other employees got asked if i needed help when i was back at the gun counter said probably in a minute wanted to look a minute then when i wanted to see something the 5 employees were to buisy talking amongst them selves to care so went to knife counter kid there didnt even acknowledge me till someone from another department came over and they helped me. Told him thank you and walked out never to return

Purchased a Barnett Recruit Crossbow from them. Josh was very helpful & knowledgeable about the products. He even put it together and set it up for me. Also have me lessons on how to use and shoot the crossbow at the indoor range. Will definitely be back !!!

Live here in Youngstown Oh, Just got a great deal yesterday on my Ruger LCP 380! For only $210 Nice gun for the back pocket. First I did a little price shopping. I Went to my local Canfield Oh Armory Store and they were asking $318 for the same gun and wouldnt match the price. So fins has the selection and the best prices!

Called about a gun and was told they would transfer one from another store. Called 3 different days after they said when the truck was to be there. All 3 times put on hold and eventually I was on hold so long that it hung up on me. Called back again right away and again put on hold which eventually I was on hold so long that it hung up on me again. Will not be doing business with thus company anymore.

An older gentleman there is very rude. Looks at you like youre stupid when you ask a question. I always avoid him. A younger man J is always very nice. Tells you everything about the firearms and is always very polite wth ab questions you might have.

Great service they need to get a larger variety of different clothing not just the same but some high quality products made here in the united States and not just types but in larger and more durable sizes I dont mind spending a bit more money if the products are good and I am helping to support my fellow countryman and their families but I dont think its worth buying products that are made in other countries and dont last the store is clean and well maintained the people are friendly and helpful and they seem to like the jobs that they are doing in most cases witch makes it easier to shop here

Nice store, very organized, and the employees were friendly.
They did not have anything pure alpaca but the salts lady did let me know they have alpaca socks. They have a bit under half the materials listed in the sock as alpaca. Partial win here.

Took a while to wait in line. Disappointed that the gift card I purchased wasnt in a more suitable cover for gift-giving (it was a tiny manila envelope with a faded stamp of the business name on it). More people are buying gift cards these days... They need to step up their presentation!

I would have gave them 5 stars until we bought a gun on Sunday took back on Tuesday to get next size bigger and more expensive they said they would only give us half of what i paid for it because it was shot what good is the 10 day return if you cannot shoot it to see if you like it.
Went in shop asked were product was picked up and paid for it and went home.

Way way way over priced on their selection of equipment they were almost $800 over the price of my rifle I recently purchased I shopped around and bought mine from expert outfitters sad thing is I got mine for 1,100 which isnt bad for a savage 110ba in .300 winmag the one that fin had was almost 2k and was only a .308

2022-05-25Called several different gun stores looking for a Glock 17 Gen 5 mos. None had them except for the Boardman Fin location. Grey from the gun department answered and was very helpful and reserved the only on he had. When I go to the store he was very helpful and friendly. Went over how to operate the gun safely as an extra safety step. Very personable and there needs to be more employees like him. The lady at the register, she could have been a little nicer but could have also been having a bad day.

2022-04-12We decided to check the store out since its pretty much the only local store left for archery equipment. However, we were less than impressed.They have a large selection, in general. Theres an entire corner of just knives, rows of fishing gear, a full back wall for firearms, and pretty much any camping/outdoor gear youd need. The archery equipment? One small rack. Barely anything more for accessories. Theres literally a larger selection of BBQ sauce. No, for real. This doesnt matter if thats not your thing, sure, but for those that want this type of gear...youll have to look elsewhere.Service is also non-existent, unless youre at the gun or knife counters. We stood at the archery counter for a while - which hides a bulk of the accessories someone would want/need, with no way to access without an employee - and no one came over or even acknowledged us. Theres no way to call for assistance either.Which, having no associates wandering the floor, or even easily accessible, makes my next issue worse. Theres no signage anywhere. Sure, you can see the giant wall of guns, the fishing gear, but all the shelving is just thrown together without any way of identifying where anything is. You literally have to search through everything just to find a section where *maybe* that thing you want could be. Heck, even the check-out is hard to find, with its small, cramped lanes that are hidden by racks of merchandise. Returns has a large sign and roped off area, which was quite busy. 2022-06-10Purchased a Bersa 380 Thunder for a decent sale price. Got it home and cleaned it only to find it had a burr in the barrel that I didnt see when I bought it. Brought it back the next day expecting to have to send it back and get fixed under warranty but they went out of their way to exchange it with another one. They do everything by the book there too, so expect to spend some time waiting if youre looking to buy a firearm. You get great service and they go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want and know how to use it. They also go over the forms and background checks with you so you know exactly what youre doing. Dont let the lines at the firearm counter hold you back, its worth waiting a little while to get their service. They also have great deals on ammo and accessories. They have a HUGE selection of pretty much every kind of sporting goods there at fair prices. If youre looking for a specialty item or something, they have it. Sales people are knowledgeable and more than happy to discuss the products with you so you get what you want. The guy at the knofe counter is friendly and helpful. Even when you check out theyre great to you. This is the best sporting goods store around for any outdoor activities!

2022-05-06Here in north west Pennsylvania, its hard to find a tackle shop that has everything you need. They have it and then some. Some prices are a little high, but that fact that I can go there and get what I need make it worth it. They have hunting stuff as well. I have shopped there for that. I go there more often than not, just for the selection.

2022-07-19I know it’s a box store but they still have things I don’t need that I end up buying. Ex:, another trolling rod reel combo, can’t beat the price anywhere. Another gun, sorry but some of the sales are steals. And of course lures and ammo.

2022-06-15Fantastic prices & great gear. The ammo limit has been removed, so buying multiple boxes of your favorite ammunition is aloud now. They also have an FFL so you can have firearms shipped to them, where you can then pick them up, so ordering firearms online is easier than ever.

2021-11-27The photo I shared says it all. When they sell a decorative patch of a bullet saying I wanna be inside you, I am no longer going to spend money there. I am a Veteran and a big fan of guns. But I am not a big fan of gun violence and certainly not interested in doing business with anyone who thinks that patch is appropriate. Tasteless as hell.
