I give it a three star because McDonalds employees got what they wanted the money went up that they get paid prices of the items on the menu are going up the counter that but the service is going down

Worst experience ever my son sausage muffin was soaking wet and Soggy I took it back and all the lady could do was say sorry. Not acceptable this is food were dealing with people get very sick from bad food. I told her it look like it sat in a puddle of water one side of the muffin was completely dry the other side the top was soaking wet and squishy. That was our last trip to McDonalds
Ordered a hot chicken sandwich and there was barely a drop of sauce on it and no pickles. The fries were disgustingly cold. Also ordered a BTS chicken nugget meal and they didnt include the sauce. So literally every portion of my order was a disappointment but the beverages included with the meals. You almost have to try in order to be that bad. I even tried to call and nobody picked up!

My friend orders here and she often gets super angry after. They mess up her order all the time. For ex: She pays for 6 McNuggets to go and they put 2 in a 4 nugget box and serve this one in a 6er box. I bet that is intentionally. I consider that fraut. But its definitely annoying for others to deal with. Stop messing with our minds .
Drink dispenser broken & manager took no action when notified. Kids meal had wrong toy and chocolate milk was missing. Staff member was eating in sandwich prep area. Fries were cold so I asked for fresh. Overheard staff say while pointing at me, Watch out for that customer, she has an attitude! Received online order with no straw for my beverage. Luckily I had one in the car!

McDonald’s website states that quarter pounder’s with cheese are made to order. Even with just four other patrons in this location during the high time of lunch hour they serve burgers that are pre-cooked, dry, cold, with cold toppings and no melted cheese. There are more employees then there are patrons and they still manage to take the lazy way out. There definitely needs to be a better managed staff because this location compared to the others in the area Is awful and of the poorest quality.

Every time I get a coffee here it looks and tastes watered down. I think they add a splash of coffee so it at least looks ok. I still drank the cream water but not what I wanted
My order was OK. Everything was there. My problem is simple. I hate when they put the sandwiches in sideways; all the condiments end up dumping out the side. What got me today was watching them put my fries in the bag upside-down. They were open side down. It really annoys me to have to dig my burgers and napkins out of greasy fries. At least I got exactly what I paid for and these days thats a win!

The floor was a greasy ice skating rink. I my feet almost slipped out from under while opening the door to leave. The manager there is trying her best with the tools she had.

Terrible service. Didnt get my order correct. Missing sandwich that I paid for. Never again will I go here. Hard fish bun was served. Locked the doors when waiting on my order through drive through when I was told to wait at 3rd window for my order for over 20 minutes. They gave my order to someone else. Manager didnt offer to correct it.
The place was disgusting! All the tables were just about as filthy as the employees mouths! Every other word was inappropriate. One employee was sitting in the lobby on speaker phone with someone yelling and cussing. Very unprofessional. I have a recording of the employee but it lucky for her it wont let me post it to this review. I dont know how this place is NOT shut down!
Not only was the wait in the line long for the time of day it was. But the food was awful! Fries were cold, as was the burger, and there was only one piece of meat. It explained why the line moved so fast. Fries werent cooked... Just made me really 😥, fries is all I really wanted, and you couldnt even get that right....

This location is horrible. No management at all! An employee screaming about working and when she had to work all up and down the front line. Throwing food to the customers and not listening to anything. I felt bad for the other customers...I will never go back and its one me from my house. I come here every morning for breakfast. They are the most consistent with my iced coffee being the same and not messing up my order. Id say this is the best McDonalds in town. They make mistakes sometimes but overall, I still think they are the best and if I want to go to McDonalds I will drive out of my way to go here rather than the other local ones.
Consistent wrong orders and forgotten items every time I’ve been here. I just went through the drive through and half of my order that I payed for was missing, had to do an embarrassing pull back around into the drive thru to get the rest of my meal. 30 minutes wasted. Don’t go here. Go to the Jimmy Johns right down the road they are far more accurate and personable
I really wanted to give this McDonald’s a better rating, but I’ve been there several times and each transaction has a familiar problem. The familiar problem is that you hardly ever get what you actually order. I’m only stating my experience. I ordered a double quarter pounder twice and got a single in a double quarter pounder box. I went through the drive through both time and drove away before I checked my order. My next visit, I went inside to order. I was greeted by a line of angry customers that had been waiting in line for five minutes. The person gathering the food for other orders told us we must wait because she can’t do two jobs. I can understand that maybe they are short staffed, and I try to give everyone a second chance. I finally get to place my order and I have been waiting in line for 11 minutes. I ordered just a cheese burger and a small fry. I got a hamburger with bacon and ketchup only(maybe a win), and a mc chicken 🤷🏼♂️ Make sure you check your order every time.
This place was so slow. Sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. If we wanted to sit and wait we would have went in somewhere and ordered our food. What happened to drive-thru times and speedy service. It is called fast food for a reason. When Im driving back from vacation I dont want to get stuck in traffic at the McDonalds drive-thru.
I went here today and they charged me for cookies but didn’t give me any. i was very upset so i called when i got home to see if there was anything they could do like refund my card or give me a credit or something. i called 4 times and no one ever answered me. ruined my night and made me depressed.
This McDonalds is the only one Ill go to. Its always clean and the service is great not to mention the food. Im usually there around 2PM when I do go about once a month. The staff has been courteous and prompt. It seems to be well managed and cared for.
If theres a long line or a line forming at the drive thru . DO NOT PARK ALONG THE BUILDING. I got stuck there for 45 minutes untill the line moved and I backed out right in front of a moving car . They werent happy. I wasnt happy. But I wanted to get home it was 13 degrees outside.
The service was slow. I stood waiting on 2 apple pies that were ready while the gal stood in front of the order screen doing nothing while waiting on a order to come up. There was plenty of staff, but delivery time is slow. It would be nice if the staff would smile.
Friendly help, food was fresh, hot, and correct. The lobby/eating area was filthy, only 2 tables even close to clean. All trash cans were over-flowing with dozens of trays on top. This was at 8 PM. They pay way too much attention to the drive-thru and ignore the rest of the place.
Drive thru was super fast even though they were very busy. Iced coffee was the best I have ever had from any other McDonalds. Their ice water was amazing too!

This is the best McDonalds out of all of them in Newark and Heath. Its cleaner, faster, fresher food, better atmosphere and management/staff than any of the others. The one by the mall is okay sometimes, the one on 21st by Walmart is great if you have kids and dont mind ear piercing screams while you eat but the one off I believe its Union Street that one is absolutely horrible. I will drive from any place local to go to this McDonalds because its hands down the best in the area. Major kudos to the managers and supervisors for a job well done. For McDonalds this is the best it gets.
I live close to this McDonalds location, it is convenient and only that. My orders are never right, even when I ask repeatedly for a large size, the screen doesnt say large and I do not get what Ive asked for; yet I somehow get charged extra. The employees are polite enough, but are too busy socializing with one another to pay attention to me and/or their job. I have had many other bad experiences at this location, and think adult supervision and maybe service training is needed.
I ordered from this place tonight on doordash.. this location always messes up the order.. they forgot my sandwich but got everyone elses.. did put a single straw in the bag, nor did my kid get her sweet n sour sauce.. and this happened every single time.. and when I call 10 times in a row because they dont answer their phone, it shows poor customer service. I hate ordering from this location but doordash makes me use this one because it is .02 closer than the one on 30th street..30th street is by far more superior. Fed up.

Arrived around 7 pm for dine in. Not busy. Wife ordered coffee mocha. Not avalable apparently cleaning coffee machine. Placed order. Took nearly 10 minutes. Asked is there a problem with our order? WERE BUSY. Nice attidude! We will not return to this location.
Very nice people that work there. But God forbid you want a breakfast sandwich in the afternoon . all 3 times Ive tried them were absolutely horrible. The muffin is literally so hard you couldnt eat it even if you tried hash browns always soggy an cold. Very disappointed I have thrown it out all 3 times

Went to get a sandwich. When we entered a customer said good luck they are out of everything. We ordered Fish sandwich they were out. Went to get iced tea and they were out. Another guest came over and said the same thing. Young kids working and no adult.
So lets begin with last night as I waited in line to order a sweet tea and a mcdouble with pickle only the sweetest girl took my order (She gets 5 stars) after that it was a nightmare. The manager was so busy chatting it up with his younger female employees that he didnt read the screen and deleted the order . I said pickles only....well they asked twice at the window what I ordered. Then I get home and there is 1 pickle on my cheeseburger. ONE!! next I will.speak about the experience of this mornings group of unhappy individuals that work here. The young lady that took the order confirmed it, it read correctly however when getting the food realized that we were missing a hashbrown. The driver of my car asked for the hashbrown the rude employee said hashbrowns are a $1. Obviously she was having a bad day....but we still wanted it. She spoke to the driver of my car like he was beneath her and I dont appreciate that. I will be calling their district manager due to the fact the quality is declining.
New kiosks mean more control of the order process, but also a little more stress on unique orders. My wife likes Big Mac lettuce on her chicken sandwiches but that is not an option on the kiosk. Fortunately the staff were very accommodating, even though it was an extra request.

Food is standard as far as McDonalds goes. Line is always pretty quick. The only downside is traffic leaving here. Especially between 4 and 6 pmIf you are turning left you will wait longer to turn then for your food

Weve have had mostly good experiences at this location. Sure, there have been the occasional mixups, or longer than normal waits, but over all we like coming here. Lately, it does seem theyre training some really young, very novice kids, but hey, they gotta start somewhere too! Funny how folks say McDonalds workers dont deserve $15 starting out because its considered an entry positon (and I agree), yet the next sentence they say how McDonalds needs to hire more mature employees. Im the patient person waiting in line and greeting the workers with a smile and a kind word, after all, theyre human too!
Ordered a chicken sandwich and it was literally thrown in the bag with no wrapping! Other items were incorrect as well but it was just typical McDonald’s errors! I called the manager and all she said was come back in and we will replace it, no apologies. This restaurant has bad customer service, and after speaking to the manager I see why. Poor leadership

Terrible sandwich making skills. I ordered McChickens with no lettuce add pickle and 2 sweet teas. They opened the window to tell me they had to make more sweet tea but I got one sweet and one unsweet😐. A clump of pickles hanging off the side & a half a squirt of mayo on not even half of the sandwich. I will NOT be returning and would not reccomend to anyone!
Waited 20 mins for an iced coffee at 3pm. Was told twice it was coming. Dont go here they are either overwhelmed or dont care. They gave me an apple pie and apologized so take that how you will.
I had asked for Spicy bbq chicken tenders, and we got to the second window to get the receipt and notice it was not on the receipt and ask the guy if the tenders were in the bag, and he said yes and they were not in the bag.

This is by far the worst McDonalds to go to in the surrounding area. they have the worst service ever, mostly because the young non fully trained younger people who they employee. if they actually would hire managers who are more mature in age and actually run the place right it would be ok. they get orders wrong, always standing around talking when you go in; and they have poor attitudes towards customers. i highly recommend they re-staff this location with employees who care about their job.
Please shut this place down for a couple hours take your staff to chick-fil-a for a field trip to learn to to operate a drive thru. Fast friendly and efficiently

Normally I do not like McDonalds but their big breakfast in the mornings with the pancakes and everything is so good and its not very expensive I think its like 6 or 7 $ it comes with three pancakes one hash brown some eggs a pick between bacon or sausage a roll and all condiments syrup for pancakes butter two different jams there might be more Im usually hungry when I get it lol.

I placed my order for dinning in. I ordered 2 bacon mcdoubles a medium fry and a large coke. The fries were barely warm and the bacon mcdoubles were luke warm. The coke was good though.
So what can you say about this icon McDonalds is McDonalds is McDonalds we love the golden arches when we travel its beautiful to always know trust and like their food this particular location was extremely friendly the cashiers didnt even have to look at the pretty little buttons so they couldnt make mistakes thats a little big on our current millenniums hahaha any who this particular location and very clean bathrooms the food was to be expected on their standardization and I simply enjoyed the crowd very friendly
CHECK YOUR FOOD IN LINE... or better yet, go elsewhere! More than any other fast food drive-through they consistently forget part of my order or give me someone elses. Today it is a biscuit instead of egg McMuffin. Several weeks ago no cream in the coffee, last month it was a yogurt instead of a burrito and McMuffin. Not big deals, but as I said, much more unreliable than any other drive-though. Give your business to an owner who cares. This one evidently does not.

The drive thru service here boggles the mind. You can literally waste a half an hour waiting for cold food. It is absurd how slow they are.
Quick on off road, walk in and use the kiosk, get a ice tea, pay w your gift card, pickup the cup, get your drink and off you go, no people no lines
Every time I go through the drive thur my order is always missing items.
I dont go inside very much because of the homeless people sleeping in the lobby
Ordered a McChicken, no lettuce, add cheese. Got a McChicken with pickles, tartar sauce and cheese. Most incompetent workers ever, this place is a joke

Ordered food and they didnt even put a patty on several of my cheeseburgers. Tried to call and talk to the manager but she hung up the phone on me.
Food was fresh and hot. A bit long of a wait in the drive thru for only having 2 vehicles in front of me.
Chicken sandwich and sweet tea, both were delicious.

Dont go through the drive through after dark. They will give you the worst and coldest food available. Lunchtime is fine.
Consistently the worst McDonalds to order from in Newark. Even the simplest order is wrong and they dont bother calling if theyre out of something.
Sausage McGriddles were the best and workers were continuously cleaning the dining room and they took my tray!

Out of all the fast food restaurants in and around town, this one particularly sucks the most, orders are wrong 90% of the time, menu has items that they dont have, they consistently do one thing right, get your order wrong!

Dude taking my order totally got it all wrong. I was seriously bummed out when I got my food, which were not the correct items I ordered at all. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

2022-05-02Last two times at this restaurant we received great service, but the lazy shift manager must be on duty today. I was with my son and was not provided with a tag for the table. Was not given any napkins. Had to go get my food from the counter even tho I TOLD HER it was for here…just said, ‘we bag everything.’ I’m aware! I’ve eaten inside here before! Fed up with the laziness and rudeness that seems so prevalent in fast food.

2022-09-10Mmm they were struggling today. Missed a drink and a fryTold me I was missing it them. Only got the drink and gave up as they were really struggling and husband said nope I will just give our grandson my fry. The fries we got were gross and cold. Like nasty. Nuggets we got. We got 30 were partially warm and 19 ice cold. Not what I expect hopefully better next time. No apologies. Kinda sad about it

2021-04-26Service was quick to start and that was the end of the, barely acceptable experience... Order at the one drive up as they had large trash cans blocking the close one... Then pay at the first window and then before moving to the next window for pick up the worker calls us to back up, at 9pm ordered ice cream for the kids and the worker says no we cant serve that, were cleaning the machines... Then the double cheeseburger that was ordered was over well cooked and been sitting for an hour in the warmer..... MANAGEMENT, YOUR TRASH AND THIS LOCATION IS TRASH

2022-08-17This was a large fry, and my medium frappe. Did not eat or drink up to this point. Didn’t inspect my food until 5 mins later when I returned to work. This is what you get when you do not donate…..Third company this week caught skimming.This is not ok. You cannot Jack up prices and serve less than advertised.But here we are….

2022-05-28Everyone we go there anymore there’s an issue and the only reason I go back is because e it’s close to where we live and the kids love it , but there’s always an issue , this time we get home with out food and at least it’s all there this time , however the bottom bun of my Big Mac was as hard as a rock !! Seriously ? You could t tell that it was like that when you made it

2022-03-24We went in to have lunch. Everything was all clean and good. Bathroom too. I got the double quarter pounder meal. Took a bite out if it and it was pink on the one patty. I took it up and she gladly changed it out for me.I kept the other burger but didnt eat it. I brought it home to the dog who was VERY happy to eat it. Finn the dog thanks you McDonalds!!Keep up the good work!❤
