Been here a few times. They offer a few things different from your other farm stores. Prices on somethings are in line with the others but then some things are alot higher. Customer service has always been hit and miss. Some of the employees are nice. Some some are rude. I dont like how half the time nothing is priced. Clearance toys for Christmas are half done like someone didnt want to finish the job. I contacted them before about the bulk plot seed by the pound not having a single price tag on the bins anywhere. The live chickens in the Spring and Summer if they mark them down its never clear as to which ones are marked down. My biggest complaint is customer service and the price tags missing from items. Guess the other reviewers only been the store once and thats it!

Loved visiting Family Farm & Home! Of course, I was there for the chickens. They had quite an assortment. No Amerricanass thoughh, so we bought some feed instead. Next time.
Usually get hay for my horse here. Some of the staff are friendly, some could use a lesson in friendliness and not talking about others. You never know if the customer might know and like the person staff are bad mouthing.
The people here help you find things and get you back on the project, Just like back in the day. Reasonable prices and friendly people. Go Check them OUT!!!

Its a pretty cool store if your a hobby farmer to a full time farmer. Pets and bird supplies, seeds and gardening tools. Plus theres lots of outdoor furniture and cutsie items. I love the chicks and baby ducks they carry in the spring time. Fun store for the whole family.

What a joke! Ive worked on many projects and have bought supplies here I went to take a couple things back and exchange them for the exact same thing but a different size and they told me they could not do that because they are Under New Management! Even though I have done it many times here this place was great when they first opened but now the people that work there dont have a clue what theyre doing they dont even know where stuff is at in management wouldnt even come up to talk to me I will never shop here again in fact I would put money on it that this place is closed within a year! Tractor Supply Ill just continue to go to you or across the street to Home Depot. Oh by the way I was going to spend more money Ive been to many stores and when you dont have your receipt they give you an in-store credit I wasnt expecting any money back so I dont know why this was such an issue but I promise you Ill never step foot in that place again I dont care if I have to drive 10 or 15 minutes south or north Im tired of bad customer service!
Bought 4 bags of cracked corn from here in the spring. Found mold in all 4 bags. My wife just bought colostrum replacer from there today. Expiration date 06 2018! I can say with absolute certainty that we will never step foot in this place again. Rural king and Tractor Supply will now receive all of our business.

We love it in there . We buy all our pet food and supplies here. We take our puppy and they always give her treats. They have a nice supply of live stock supplies and animals like ducks,chickens,and rabbits.

Google keeps asking, so here it is: this is the best store on the planet. They have tools, ammo, fence, chickens, bee keeping equipment, boots, feed, tack, and traps. If I had this store when I was a kid, I would probably be at least 25% better at everything.

Forklift operator forked my pallet of wood pellets and was fairly rude manager was also rude and unprofessional but they did make it right and replaced the four bags. Needless to say I will not be revisiting.

Best place for all farm needs. we have pigs, goats, chickens, horses, cats and dogs. all the barn babies are happy and healthy. the employees are friendly and helpful.

2022-06-03I am completely blown away with the amazing service that I received last night. Remember, way back when, you used to be able to go into a place of business and feel respected, taken care of and valued? When you felt good about a purchase because you trusted the people you were buying from? Its a lost art to say the very least, until last night, it had been quite a while since I felt like a valued customer. Luke was amazing to work with, he spoke about the piece of equipment we were looking at in a very knowledgeable way. He wasnt pushy or condescending, in fact he was very enthusiastic about the product. Piece of mind is important when youre dropping $8600 on a new mower. He explained benefits and financing options with us, he walked us through the Homegrown Rewards program and provided an experience that gained them a customer for life!Thank you to Luke and the entire staff who were friendly and actually treated us like family!

2022-06-03After checking my go to the local Rural King, several time for chicken scratch with no luck, I found a bag here.It also had smaller (than 50lbs.) bags of cracked corn and sunflower seed at a better price than other stores I looked at. If I had the space, Id get the 50 lbs bags at a better cost per lb., but these bags are more for less than a lot of places.

2022-05-25Would give 0/10 if I could. I was parked here with a pick up and trailer to exercise at planet fitness which shares a lot with this farm store. Then I planned to go to the farm store for roughly 1k worth of equipment. Owner called the police because my truck was blocking the view of his store from the street. He couldve asked me to move as I saw him dropping a trailer and I even waved to him and his son. Instead he involved the police who asked me to move to the other side of the exact same lot. Family Farm lost a sale and customer due to their terrible customer service.

2022-01-31Dont stock parts for pellet stoves but they had fan assembly on shelf found by part number and internet. Over 60 miles but picked up that day and staff had at checkout when I got there. Got my pellet stove going again on a cold day. 2 days to a week if delivered to house. Glad to find in stock.

2021-02-21I love this store. I discovered it a few months after moving to Miami County, and during my first visit, with the help of a very patient, kind employee, not only found the perfect type of fencing for my small backyard project, but also learned I could put it up, myself, which I did. The employees make this such a great place to shop or even to browse; they take time to make sure customers questions are answered without ever coming across as being overbearing or as if they’re only trying to sell something. I visited the Piqua location with my guide dog and they were kind, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about etiquette around both guide dogs and individuals with vision loss. Definitely will be returning again!
