We have been working alongside Falls Village for 9 months now and have enjoyed the professional relationship. Theyre understanding individuals with the goal of not keeping their patients there for any longer than needed. They understand the value of exercise (hence why we are working together) and that is highly valued. Great people!
I was told Monday they were sending my dad home (insurance ) & was told they would order the hospital bed he needs. Jennifer said she would do this. Well, it’s now Wednesday & she hasn’t returned my calls. I actually called the business they usually order thru & was told that beds are on back order. ???? My 90 year old mom is freaking out & she’s so stressed. What are we going to do ? I might take this further, as we also had other issues.
My mom had been in two other nursing homes in cuyahoga falls but we decided on this one because it was so close. Falls village is horrible . Worse experience ever when u have to call 911 yourself because the nurse was so slow well... my mom passed away there. The nurses there probably couldnt get a job anywhere else. The only good thing I can say about falls village is that the Stnas were great. Very under staffed especially at night. Horrible place would never recommend. Go elsewhere.
I do not recommend this place. My mother was here for rehabilitation and she passed away after being here for a month. I feel the staff let her down through poor care taking. Seemed very under staffed every time I visited. When I came on the day she had passed they were more concerned about me picking a funeral home than anything else. Had no compassion or empathy for my situation. I was I shock and trying to process as to what had happened. They also didnt answer any questions I had about her death. All I can say is stay away from this place.
It’s been a year since I fell in the ice covered parking lot which remained un maintained for one week. 1” of ice. = slight whiplash and physical therapy. Wasn’t looking for a lawsuit but should have. Head of management Sucks. The parking lots were to be maintained by Falls management.

2022-06-30I went out to this location for a notarization. First of all it was surely one of the cleanest locations I had gone to. The staff was helpful and pleasant especially one staff member who stood out. I dont recall her last name but her first name was Ursula. She was right at the front desk. The person I was assisting talked about how good her meals were and how comfortable she felt. You dont hear that very often in nursing facilities. So shout out to Ursula and Falls Skilled Nursing.

2022-05-03This retirement home has private rooms that are spacious and pretty decent in size for your loved one. They have a nice dining area as well. They have great nurses that have worked at this location for many years, as well as the Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing Melissa H. is professional, and always in the best interest of family members being satisfied with the care of their loved ones. I recommend checking this retirement home out for your loved one.

2022-06-20Unprofessional, ludacris, un compassionate. My dad was unmonitored the FIRST day and fell. He has bone cancer. Today, he fell again, unmonitored. They dont answer the phone after 6-10 times in a row. Wont transfer me to my dad when I do get someone on the phone. Wont answer the front door for 45 mins. Wont help him eat. Nurses never have answers for anything, literally shrugs and says dont know. I had to cuss out the 3rd floor in order for something to get done. Please DO NOT send your loved ones here. They dont care, more of a prison than a skilled nursing facility . No skill, no class, no care.

2021-06-17Id heard about places like this but never experienced firsthand. Selected because it had a 5 star rating and on-site dialysis. My husband (who is on dialysis) fractured his hip and needed physical therapy to regain mobility. From the start, the lack of communication was astounding. It was nearly impossible to contact any of the people in charge and I finally had to ask a nurse for a telephone list. My husband was there for 3 days before *I* asked THEM about a care conference, to which they casually replied oh Ill have to remind so-and-so about that. Very little if ANY physical therapy was provided. Indeed, my husband was in worse shape then when he left the hospital. At one point, the facility closed to visitors due to a positive COVID test. My only contact was the telephone, but many times I could not get anyone to answer. I understand they are understaffed, had only 2 nurses on the floor, etc. But I have only ONE husband! And THIS was a 5-star facility? My husband could not move enough to reach his phone, nor could I reach anyone by phone to put it on the bed so he could. I even tried calling the general facility number and often even that phone went unanswered. When the lockdown began, I dropped off a plate of chicken for him. When the lockdown was lifted one week later, I found the uneaten plate still sitting on a chair in my husbands room! Apparently no one noticed or bothered to throw it away. With difficult communication, it took me more than 3 weeks to have my husband transferred to another facility. All the while, I worried for his recovery. Now, because hed shown no progress, our insurance does not want to cover him at the new facility. But the only reason hes shown no progress is because he really had NO physical therapy at Falls Village. The place is more of a warehouse than rehab facility. DO NOT believe ratings you find online!

2020-02-26The rooms are nothing like pictures in their advertisement. No one introduced themselves or even said Hi when first entering the building. They didn’t ask my family member if he was hungry so he didn’t eat. The rooms on floor two are average. The top floor rooms are very small. People were left screaming in that hallway. They lack nursing help as the nurses let us know. It took over thirty minutes to answer the call light more than five times during the stay there. One aid was super rude consistently and nothing was done about it when I told the nursing director. The food was okay. The therapists were wonderful and helped us out a lot. We got everything we needed for home. I just wrote this because the bad outweighed the good so we chose another place this time.

2021-06-30If zero was an option... how in the world do you let someone sit in a bed after a major hip replacement/reconstruction asking and asking for an ice pack for what now is almost an entire 24 hours???? What the actual hell are you doing?? Its not like these patients can get up and help themselves...thats what youre there to do. Why should anyone have to wait or be told that ice is not in the doctors orders!!!!!! For Gods sake dont try calling. I let the phone ring for 15 minutes 48 seconds and NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. PATHETIC!

2020-10-05I took a tour of the facility and many other facilities in the area. I was surprised to see old bars of used soap in their shared shower area. The shared shower area was not fresh smelling as a matter fact it smelled moldy. Of all the places I toured this was the worst with the dirtiest bathroom. They do not have a walk-in Jacuzzi tub as some of the newer facilities have. The headboards on their beds are deteriorating and need replaced. Their are small older style windows in most of the rooms. They dont let much light in. Some of the rooms have a terrible view of roof tops etc. the gathering areas are very small and not updated. As a matter of fact this whole facility needs a facelift. It is very apparent that it hasnt had much money put into keeping it updated. This facility has a Hospital like feeling to it.

2020-01-20Very bad place to work and you do not feel welcome at all. My first day of clinicals on the floor was terrible. Nobody in upper management did not know what was going on. They treat the residents like they are animals and not like a person. Worse place I ever encounter in my life to work at in the medical field. The whole staff gossips about each other instead of doing what they are being paid to do. They neglect the residents , i have encountered on my first few days of working at the falls that residents have not been getting bathe or change like they should. They skin is very red and irritated from skin breakdowns because they been sitting in their BM and urine all day. Very sad and the staff does not work good together as a team. Very sad place. I would not reccomend working for this company in particular at all. I do not write reviews on places but this was a must

2021-10-23Notice the one way sign on the left in the do not enter exit only sign to the right. You tell me management cant solve something like this. This is my first impression in my last impression of this place. If they cant get it right on the outside image whats going on inside!
