Peaceful..clean..quiet..The staff was very helpful!!
Have used this library as my home library for the last 40 years. It has kept up with the times by educating their staff so they are savvy in aiding the public in so many topics. They have areas dedicated to different age groups and tastes so that this branch is inviting to all ages. I rate this branch A+.
I am so glad to be able to get back in the library and the gentleman who helped me with my checkout problem could not have been nicer or more helpful. Thank you for a great first experience being back since March.
This is a great branch. The librarians are so friendly and helpfull. The branch manager is congenial with a jovial friendly manner.
I have been visiting this library for over 20 years (not in the same state-of-the-art building we have now). With the help of fantastic staff, I did most of the research I needed to earn a bachelors and then a masters degree. I give my library an A+!
Fairview library is large, well organized. Staff is very helpful if needed ☺️. A great place to replace read a book.
Really a mis-spending of taxpayers money. Always over-staffed. Sometimes there are more people working there than customers. They are paying some people $35/hr to do basically child care work.People are on cell phones ringing away. People eat greasy chips at the computers.The workers dont even notice what is going on and choose to ignore it. They leave the management up to the patrons and do nothing unless it is brought up to them. Most of the workers surf about 1/2 the time and shop on line and prepare their resumes and text from their laps. They know very little about technology or computers or the internet. I have been trying to figure out exactly WHAT they do know.They need to hire tech savvy people.They do not have a complaint system (no wonder!). None of the workers have name tags or any way to identify them. So if one of the workers is not behaving well there is no way to report them. Even at Walmart a person can complain about the service.Most of the jobs could be done by volunteers and/or minimum wage workers.But the pay range is from $20 to $40 per hour.Most of the circulation are DVDs like Legally Blonde. I read that is costs $500 per year per patron so a person could just about afford their own internet and book club for what it costs.It is really a sham to benefit the workers and not the taxpayers
Great Genealogy resources available here and through here. For me, the location is a bit out of the way--even though it is not really--its just that I live a distance from it. I went here for a genealogy course series to learn the basics of how to get started.

Its very nice and has a good play for kids to play with rentable book packs for kids and a good place for students to study and the library has a homework assistant and a comfortable area for teens to hang out and socialize and chill
Great branch! They have little tables that can be used with comfortable chairs and small details like that make all the difference!
This branch rocks because of location. I enjoy most of the branches this one is in close proximity to high school and recreation center. The location is uber convenient and maximizes usage.
I love this library, and now they are doing everything they can to keep patrons safe during the coronavirus crisis...
Staff is so lovely, and the childrens area is a great rainy-day activity for kids, complete with themed play areas for imaginative play.

Not very helpful staff, they give you a attitude when you ask for help, this happens often and Im not referring to the checkout desk staff, there always accommodating...

This is the third time I have been at this library to tutor a high school student and each time I ask the workers on the second floor a question they are extremely unhelpful and rude.
Plenty of computers to use. Plus it has a job and career services department

2022-05-03Definitely going to give this a five star review. Im giving this is a five star review just because the place is absolutely amazing!!! The layout and the feel of this particular library is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Everything is so easy to find and organized. Also very clean. The thing I absolutely love about this building they have multiple floors and bathrooms on each floor too. Another thing if you need to get online to search something or look something up bam no problem. They have computers everywhere along with wi-fi. One more thing if theres a line to checkout items not a problem!!! They also have a self checkout where you you check out the items yourself.

2019-06-27Fairview has a nice little branch of the library. The DVD selection is especially good, and the book selection is decent. Of course, the entire Cuyahoga County branch has pretty much anything you could want so you can always request it. The staff are helpful and cheery, and the environment is nice and serene.

2022-01-17I requested curbside pickup on a book online and didn’t realize it takes a day for the book to be ready for pick up. The librarians were so nice and still brought my book to me. So nice, excellent customer service. Thank you!

2018-12-31One of the best librarys Ive been to. They have a good amount of books to look through and a TON of movies. The childrens section is amazing. They have so many kids books and the best play area. My son LOVES to play at this library. It really is an awesome library.

2020-11-03This is a fantastic building. Love the design, inside and out. Just went there to vote most recently and the setup was great. In and out with no issues. Kids have gone there a few times and they love it.

2018-01-17The library itself is very nice but unfortunately it is very loud inside due to the way the layout is set up. They have study rooms but- as most places- there is a time limit on how long you can stay in them and because it is right near a few different schools, it tends to get busy in there around the time that school lets out. Most of the staff that works there is friendly but there is definitely a good handful of staff that works there that are not very nice.
