This place is very busy in the month of June, but I was able to get a room with two beds in the end, with a senior discount!...these gals are very nice and accomadating, I feel like they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Room was clean, looked like it had a few updates, and clean. I will stay again.π
Below average for a place with Marriott in the name. Room small barely waking space for one. Bathroom tight. Pool not open due to unseen construction. Was water in pool? Breakfast disappointing- eggs & sausage gone well before end of service time. Tried boiled egg - was tough - tasted old. Very dry. Didnt find any toast or bagel options -- sad. Not what I expected for 120 a night.
This is a run down facility that has sticky floors, a smelly elevator, a pool supposedly under construction (never saw anyone working on it the 4 days we were there!), no access for a scooter in the main entrance, only one working hand sanitizer station (during a Pandemic!), a faulty toilet, minimal breakfast food choices, random placement of refrigerators and microwaves (our relatives who stayed 1-2 nights had one but we didnβt have one and we stayed 4 nights!) and no communication that we need to say we want someone to clean our room. These issues are not the fault of the employees who work there-they were doing their best with what they had. It is the fault of the corporation. It is clear that the corporation has not invested in this hotel and they definitely need to do this.
Worst customer service. No daily service. We asked for towels and toilet paper, first thing in the morning, again at 1:00, and then again at 2:15. Eventually, a maid was in the hall and she said she didnt have any of the supplies and we had to go to the front desk and get them. The rooms are infested with stink bugs, we have been killing since we checked in. Will move to another hotel tomorrow and cut our stay short.
Pool- green and closed, under renovation but never touched on to be worked on.Smell- not clean. Gross and off.Masks- not really wornHand sanitizer- empty constantlyElevator - dirtyExtra pillows, towels, blankets- never came despite multiple ways of communicationAPP- the functions didnt help me be contactless and the front desk said the app was only to tell them we were on our way and be tracked.Towels- only came once we got them ourselvesTrash- we were asked to take our own trash out to the dumpster behind the hotelLights- burnt out and showered by phone flashlight. We asked in the app to be fixed and received a reply that they would be. 10 hours later, still out. Asked the front desk and was told it was the GFI outlet reset button. When we said it wasnt, it was still never fixed.
I was disappointed. Although a work trip with 14 hour days, I anticipated (knew) this would be a place to sleep and shower. However, the gym, pool and laundry were unavailable. Also, twice during my day, the sink clogged from typical use. The front desk staff was rarely seen. I requested one wake up call during the night of daylight savings, and there system was not updated to reflect the change. I made my reservation over a week before arrival, requested first floor, was promised that and received third floor, stating there was nothing they could do. Breakfast was below average. Iβm not sure Iβll be back at this location.
Fairfield inn in middletown was amazing the staff were always friendly and always had a smile on their face I felt like I was at a Disney resort lol. The only problem I had was they did not have the pool open but thats ok it wasnt their fault hopefully the next time I visit it will be open breakfast was great very clean rooms and a very comfortable bed
The staff at this hotel went above and beyond on my behalf. There was a problem with my reservation (through a 3rd party service). Jessikah and her manager Rochelle were able to solve the issue while I was waiting on hold to speak to a customer service representative with the 3rd party service. Once I was in my room, Jessikah called to make sure all was well. I will definitely stay here agin.
I really hate to say this but Very disappointing stay. If you want to feel unvalued, and stay in a unupdated hotel book it now. Sink cracked, drapes ripped, shower curtain stained. The only drinks for breakfast are coffee or milk. No water, no juice. A lot of room for improvement.
Priced highest than others in the area, we were disappointment to find amenities no open and lacking. Staff was nice. Tvβs in rooms are dated and remote control functions for hotel system were lacking. Iβd stay again but will lower my expectations for this Marriott branded location.
After a 9 hour drive, we were ready to relax. The General Manager and staff went out of their way for great customer service. (Never get this at other places). I always look at the room first before confirming because we had bad experiences in the past. The king room was very clean and comfortable. I will not take away a star for this, but some of the wall paper/covering was puckering at the seams throughout the place. Even though this little issue needs repair, I would still highly recommend because of the staff and cleanliness.
We were there due to a family member being in the hospital. The staff was very kind to us. I wish that there was a rate for people visiting members in the hospital. We are from out of town and on our third week of hotel stays; it a bit pricey, and some type of hospital discount would be helpful.
I recently stayed just over night at this location and was very happy w our stay. They only had one room left and it was the handicap accessible room. Which Im a recent amputee so that was perfect. Room was clean, bathroom was great, grab bars and connected shower seat are such help. Liked the phone on the wall by the sink and toilet(just in case emergency)The breakfast was amazing to say the least, for hotel breakfast... All the different choices I believe even the pickiest of eaters will leave full. Also super clean. The lady working the breakfast area always on the go.Id recommend to anyone if in the area to give it a try. P. S. Pool also has a chair lift to help
Everything was very clean and it looked like everything had recently been updated. Breakfast was nice and the eating area well kept. The rooms were a little small but not too small. We booked three rooms and had no problems with any of the rooms. The best part of this Fairfield Inn was the staff. The maintenance man stayed past his normal hours to make sure the pool was in perfect order after having recent issues. The pool was very clean and my eight children and I had a great time swhimming in it. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. If I ever have to stay in the Cincinnati Ohio area again, this where I am staying.
I stayed for two nights for the 4th of July weekend. Room was very clean and comfortable. Check in and out very quick and hassle free. The breakfast was kind of mediocre with the usual scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Also I thought the water was over softened and left a slippery feel on my skin. That really should be addressed. The price was reasonable and I selected this hotel due to the low price compared to hotels closer to my destination.
The Hotel is conviently located near the high way, restaurants, and grocery stores. The staff was very nice from the time we checked in till the time we checked out. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The temperature in the room was comfortable and it smelled pleasant. The pool and hot tub were kept clean and at a good temperature. The free wifi was fast enough to browse the Internet and watch a few videos. The breakfast in the morning was not the greatest but it was still fairly good. Overall I recommend this hotel for the price, great value and I had a great stay.
Our stay at the Fairfield Inn was wonderful. The associates were very informative and friendly. The rooms were large and clean. We didnt do any swimming but the pool/hot tub area looked nice. It didnt have a workout room which my friend was disappointed about. The breakfast area was clean but a bit small, but the breakfast was nice. A good variety of food and the coffee was very good. Our over all experience was great.
It was a nice hotel that was easy to find located very close to some nice places to eat dinner at. The hotel itself shows to be a little outdated especially with things like the front door not being an automatic door which makes it kind of hard to use the luggage cart when your one handed. The staff was friendly and more than willing to help out if there was any kind of an issue however at breakfast time the breakfast area was not look at at a regular basis as both mornings we went down for breakfast it had run out of eggs and sausage and fruit and it took a while for somebody to fill it back up. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I like staying at Marriott properties whenever I can. This property is just average
I believe that we were able to get a group rate, due to our team/families staying at the hotel during the tournament weekend. For the cost, our overall experience was a great value. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient; the room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast area was well-stocked, clean and offered many fresh options. Making reservations was a breeze, as well as check-in and check-out. We will definitely stay at Fairfield Middletown for future events.
This hotel has wonderful staff, from the guest relations center to the cleaning ladies. All are super sweet and want you to really feel welcome there. The hotel looks a bit older on the outside, but our rooms had been updated and the inside of the hotel was nice. Breakfast was on the smaller side of a Marriott breakfast, but was still good. Great hotel for personal use. We did not use this for a business meeting area, so I am unsure of that aspect of the hotel. We love Marriott hotels!
I stayed here 5 nights in a row, in a room across from the elevator on the second floor. Was surprisingly quiet. Room was clean, staff very friendly. They even opened the fridge a bit earlier so I could grab something for breakfast which they didnt have to do, but was much appreciated.
Staff was courteous and professional. This is an older location and didnt have a market area, but the vending machines take credit cards. The bathrooms are a little bit tiny. The pool area was unusable due to a very strong chlorine smell that burned our eyes and throats within seconds of walking in. The room was clean and comfortable enough, but the double queen room feels a little cramped due to the beds. In the end, its not a bad stay and I would recommend to anyone that prefers Marriott properties if they have to stay in this area.
The staff at check-in were very nice. The room was a standard double room. We were brought a refrigerator after our arrival, which we appreciated, but it took a long a time to cool down. Then when checking the bathroom, we found hair that was left behind. If we have to travel to Middletown again, well probably stay somewhere else.
We didnt expect to stay an entire week, but only two days. We got a great rate and me and my 2 kids were stuck at the hotel while Daddy did a last minute job for a friend on our stay in Ohio. The staff was so nice and friendly and helped us with little things like band aids and popping our popcorn for us. Since we were stranded most days, the only thing we had to do was swim and hot tub and it looked like we werent going to get to do that since some previous guests had left the hot tub looking gray, but then Scott the maintenance man SAVED the day! He is definitely an asset to this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
My experience at Fairfield Inn Middletown is always grade A. Staff and cleanliness in particular are always excellent as well as definitely getting your moneys worth for your stay. Front desk and cleaning staff are all extremely nice and are always prompt to provide whatever is needed. The property is clean and well maintained as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Ive stayed here very many times and Ive never had a problem with anything being broken or unclean or to even be moved to another room. If your staying remotely close to Mddletown area, make this hotel where your stay.
Fairfield Inn Middletown is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is welcoming, engaging, responsive, and as reasonable and considerate as one can expect. My room was clean, up to date, and inviting ... even received a very nice welcoming gift bag when i first entered my room. The breakfast food selection is well prepared, varied and healthy. Very near the hotel there is a wide range of nice restaurants, a major supermarket, a Walmart, service stations and other services. Its the people ... management that makes the place special ... just a wonderful place to stay...
Though the staff is Midwest friendly, the hotel needs some renovation. The air quality in my room was extremely poor. Very high humidity made everything feel damp. I tried turning the a/c down to 67, I tried turning on the heat to 74, nothing helped. Though the front desk did what they could (an ozone machine improved the air quality to ease my breathing issues) the problem was not resolved. I live in the south and am very familiar with humidity but, this was a very uncomfortable stay.
Great hotel, super friendly staff, modern spacious clean rooms. The rooms are nice and the cleaning staff leaves notes so you know someone actually cleaned it. Close to restaurants, shopping and highway. Excellent breakfast-fruit, bagels, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles. The only reason it doesnt receive 5 stars is there is no workout room on premises. Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.
The G.M. accommodated our special requests which we greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and always well groomed. Weve stayed at this property many times over the past several years and it is consistently clean. We enjoyed the salt water pool and the temp was perfect!
This place was wonderful. They had a great breakfast spread with eggs, bacon,,sausage, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, milk, juices, toppings for oatmeal or the waffles, waffles, yogurts, bread for toast. There was hot tub and a pool. I swam in pool for a bit, then got in hot tub to warm up. Ah, it was great. The staff was friendly and wonderful.
The hotel was tired and need renovated. The room smelled like urine and the breakfast was cold and tasted terrible. As a Marriott Gold member, I have has excellent experiences at other properties, This is the first one that has been sub-par. You need to renovate and get rid of the smell.
It was pricey for what you got. The room billed as a suite was small, the bathroom was small, the breakfast area was hard to access if more than two people were getting food, a typical carb and powdered eggs hotel breakfast, the area in the halls and elevator seemed old and the wall were marked. On the positive, the staff was very pleasant and outgoing and the bed was really comfortable.
3/4/2015 - 3/7/2015Your staff was very friendly, courteous, & helpful.Housekeeping recognized that we had left behind my wifes favorite pillow and turned it into the manager on duty so we can pick it up this Saturday morning.Breakfast was very good. Good selction of foods.Room was spacious & comfortable. Very clean.Saturday morning the lobby could have used more tables & less sofas.W.B. Bowman
Ms. Knight at the front desk was more than helpful and accommodating by working with my wife and I to secure a room to stay last minute. We stayed for multiple nights and always had thorough and timely services provided and all staff were very wonderful. Highly recommend this Marriott branch.
I stayed one night, breakfast was great, fresh fruit and oatmeal were delicious. Friendly staff, very clean rooms. This is a great location to jump on the highway. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. I travel often and have been to enough bad hotels to appreciate the good ones, this hotel is top on my list. I would stay here again.
It was fine. But I have a few complaints. My shower drain didnt drain... I was standing in a couple inches of water by the time I got done. Also, kinda sketchy when I first walked in. It didnt seem very welcoming it felt like they were worried about loud obnoxious unwanted guests. The rooms were fine other than the fact that I had a stain on my pillow.
Room is spacious and well appointed. Little things drag this place down. No wastebasket in the room, only the bathroom. Only one outlet has multiple receptacles to plug in phones or tablets. No cups were left in the room after housekeeping cleaned. The dirty footprints in the bathroom from our first day were still there after the room was cleaned. You could do worse but probably can do better.
I had an overwhelmingly positive experience here. I was traveling with 3 small kids and no other adults. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. I didnt catch names, but I interacted with staff during 3 shifts. The evening desk receptionist offered a portable crib for my toddler and delivered it promptly. The overnight desk attendant was so friendly to everyone who had special requests (I was hanging out in the lobby while my kids slept). One woman was working in the breakfast area and thoughtfully brought my kids crayons and coloring books to keep them busy so I could eat. Everyone was patient with us despite the fact that traveling with my kids is like herding cats. Highly recommend!!
App check in easy. Room we were assigned was dirty. They quickly reassigned us to a different room. The room was described as having a pull out couch and a refrigerator, it had neither. We requested additional towels and pillows on the app prior to arrival, we had neither. We were able to get a refrigerator, but it took 3 requests. The tub didnt drain well, so we showered in ankle deep water. We chose not to report this as it took multiple requests it took to get the other stuff. Food was average. App check out easy.
Very convenient hotel 15 minutes from University of Dayton. Conveniently located off the highway, ample parking, clean grounds. The lobby was inviting and clean, the rooms were spotless, beds comfortable. The complimentary breakfast has a very nice assortment and clean. The staff goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and will ask each guests how their stay is and if they need anything additional. very professional, courteous and sincere.
I slept so good after relaxing in the hot tub the beds was comfy . My only complaint is I was told breakfast was until 10am I went down at nine and everything was almost put up so I couldnt get much and they saw my husband making waffles and they took the butter and syurp so he didnt eat because it was already gone. But other than the rude morning crew who stands there arguing about who was gonna pick up a mess infront of the elevator.my night was pleasant
While I had checked in through the Marriott mobile app earlier in the day and there wasnt much for the front desk personnel to do when I arrived, she was very friendly. She thoughtfully upgraded me to a king bed that was away from the elevators. The room was clean. Would stay at this Fairfield Inn again.
We stayed here returning to Canada from Florida. This was during the Coronavirus. Everything at the hotel was very clean. The breakfast had to be scaled back due to precautions they had to take. Nothing they could do but adhere to rules for keeping everyone safe. This is our 3rd year staying here on our way home and would never hesitate to stay here again.
I thought the Fairfield Inn and Suites was tastefully decorated. The staff at the front desk made check in easy and accommodated questions from me and the other parents traveling for the karate competition. They kept up with the needs of the guests for breakfast and had a good variety for all ages. It is conveniently located to shopping and lots of restaurants. I would stay here again. Thank you Fairfield for a comfortable stay.
This is an above average Fairfield hotel. Clean and neat.....not renovated with new decor, so rooms will seem rather dated, but bedding is very comfortable. Dont expect any convenience outlets in good locations for charging peripherals in the room, youll be unplugging lights and clocks to charge anything.
If you stay using Corporate Lodging, they will fill the rooms with no refrigerator or microwave for you first. Thats sad because were staying here for an extended period to work in the area, and we need those! The hot breakfast consisted of some kind of bacon patty, sausage, eggs, and the waffle maker. Most mornings the coffee was either empty or cold, and once, they sat a new one out for us, and it was also cold! There is no coffee in the evenings, its always empty. The room was ok, beds are decent, the shower was good, but the water is horrible. The kind where you cant get the soap rinsed off and never feel clean. Maybe its the area? Dont know but it wasnt enjoyable.
I had 4 rooms booked (for 4 families) at this hotel for one night on 7/13/2019. Out of 4 rooms, two of them, room 220 and room 222, smelled horrendous. Hotel is very old and is in dire need of renovation. Per the front desk lady Gigi, they did not have any other 2-queen bed rooms available that night. I will never stay at this hotel again. This stay has shaken my confidence in Marriott Hotels. I do need to let you know that Jenece, who worked the night shift at the hotel, was kind enough to lay out breakfast items for us at 5am since we needed to be on the road early. Jenece was very courteous as well. 5 stars for Jenece, 0 star for the hotel.
Check-in went very well. Although we are not handicapped, they booked us into a handicap room. The furniture was dated, the bedding was old and the bathroom fixtures appeared to be the original fixtures from when property was built. The next morning we took advantage of their complimentary breakfast. That particular morning they served biscuits and gravy. One biscuit was so hard that when I tried to cut it, I felt like I needed a SAW. The second one was undercooked. The Inn personnel were very nice and pleasant. The only advantage to staying at this hotel is location, however, there are several other places to stay off the same interstate interchange.
We left an expensive, relatively new memory foam pillow in our room. Not only did the Manager call me to tell me this, she still had the pillow in her office when I called back a week later. She knew exactly who I was and which pillow I was talking about. She was more than helpful and seemed to be truly invested in a guests happiness and convenience. Ive stayed in many fancy, expensive hotels around the world and have unfortunately left many belongings behind. Each time Ive called, Ive gotten the same response: We cant find your items and have no idea what youre talking about. They always seem like they cant be bothered. This is the first time a hotel not only found my things but actually reached out to me first. This might be the most personal service Ive received at a hotel - anywhere.
Spent a weekend recently at the Middletown Fairfield Inn, where weve stayed before. One thing we can always count on is friendly staff, clean and well kept lobby and rooms, and a well stocked and neat and clean breakfast buffet. While as a Fairfield Inn, its not near the top of the Marriott brands, this property is reliably comfortable and clean. This time, we asked for and received consideration from the staff for an early check in, and they helped us out. Great place to stay for a night or two!
Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Two Thumbs Up to the food service hostess; I believe her name was Chrissy. The hotel is conveniently located to majors freeways and attractions. While the staff is friendly and hotel is in a great location, I will add that the hotel is in need of an update; beginning with the front entry door and the hotel room decor.
This hotel does not compare to the usual Fairfield Inn. It definitely needs to be updated. Our room did not have the usual refrigerator and microwave. And I dont believe there was a fitness room. The pool area was clean, but with a slippery floor and no easy way to enter the pool.
Very quiet hotel, outstanding breakfast bar, comfortable bed (and room). Olive Garden Restaurant in front of hotel, Kohls Department store within walking or driving distance (we like to walk), as well as numerous fast food places to eat. Professional and courteous staff, we would definitely stay here again.
Fairfield Inns are a very economical and pleasurable place to stay when you are on a trip. Breakfast is always great and the facility is clean and comfortable place to rest your head. The staff are always ready to please and help with whatever your needs. We highly recommend any Marriott facility for a nice place to stay.
Overall, if I could go back and repeat every word I have already stated, I would. But there are a few that stick in my mind and heart about my staff at Fairfield Inn by Marriot hotel:Friendly Staff- Went above and beyond to make sure that my staff was of comfort- and it was met!Clean and Neat place to stay! I would recommend it to anyone. (I at least hope that you receive the service I did!)Thanks to this stay...I will be returning for future getaways.
Great location for us; we stayed here for visits to area colleges (Miami, UC and UD). All about 20-35 minutes away from the hotel. Could of added Xavier and University of Kentucky if we planned better. Hotel pool and breakfast nice. No workout room though. Mini frig in room. A/C worked very well. Hotel getting a little worn down but clean.
We got in around 2am. The associate working was very accommodating of our late arrival and granted us a late check out for the next day. We ended up leaving early the next morning but appreciated the consideration. The breakfast was also really good, best sausage links Ive had at a hotel.
I try to stay in Fairfield Inns, since they are nice and consistent! I enjoyed staying here while traveling between veterinary hospitals. The room was nice, bed comfortable, and the staff were super nice! Some decent restaurants within walking distance, which made the stay perfect!
Nice hotel with a friendly accomodating staff. It has everything you need. Small lobby but never crowded. Attached to eating area. Adequate breakfast, free parking & wi-fi and an indoor pool. Restaurants within walking distance. We always stay here. Resonably priced.
My 6 week assignment to Middletown was made much easier my staying at your hotel facility. It was an excellent location within minutes of anything that I needed. As I described in the survey there was nothing or any service lacking during my stay. Staff management excellent thank you
The room was adequate. However, I left something in the room. I called two days later and inquired about the article I left. They are supposed to log everything that is found. This was not logged or nowhere to be found. It was either thrown away or a staff member took it home with them. I know for a fact that I left it there. I knew exactly where I had left it. Iβm very disappointed in this.
While returning home from a medical procedure, my wife and I were looking for lodging halfway between Port Huron, MI and Rosman, NC. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodations provided by this Fairfield Inn. I have always appreciated the high level of service, commitment to excellence, and attention to detail that the Marriott hotel demonstrates, and staying at this hotel reinforced that appreciation. This particular hotel could use a little updating in decor, but the room was clean and comfortable.
I was quoted one price while booking and charged another higher price when I actually paid.I asked about a corporate discount and they said they didnt have any idea what that was and that they dont do that there. The pool was freezing, the hot tub was broken. Breakfast was so-so. Overall it wasnt an awful place to stay but it wasnt awesome either.
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn Middletown while moving our daughter out to college in the area. We always try to stay at Marriott properties and this hotel didnt let us down. Super clean, easy to get to right off the highway and convenient to many area attractions. Our room was clean, beds/pillows comfortable and hotel staff was very courteous. We would definitely stay here again because of the proximity to Miami University. The value for the quality received was also good. Please consider building a Marriot hotel in Oxford, Ohio itself so we can be super close to the university without having to drive 20 miles. Oxford, Ohio needs more hotels like the Fairfield Inn!
While updated, this is an older design Fairfield Inn. I am accustomed to other locations with on site fitness rooms and I wrongly assumed that they would have one (my fault not thiers). However, the bed was less than comfortable, there was nito luggage stand in the room, the vending machine was sold out of water, (they didnt have there own store set up to by things at the front desk) The milk was warm in the cooler at breakfast, and the coffee station in the lobby lacked Hot Chocolate all things I have grown accustomed with at Fairfield Inns at which I stay regularly. While these things are not deal breakers, given the opportunity and considering the price I would have searched for an alternate location that would have met my personal expectations better. (Also as I am submitting this review, the site will not allow me to check the box that says I would not recommend this hotel, I cant not submitted my review without unchecking that box )
The thing that distinguishes this hotel from the others in the Middletown area is the use of color and modern touches. It isnt a completely modern hotel, but feels fresh and light compared to the older feel other hotels have in the area that are the same price or more extensive. The beds where comfortable, bathroom was good size (able to hold two people), the breakfast was good (decent selection of small items and drinks). There is an indoor pool with hot tub; a bit on the small side bit good enough for kids and fun. Free WiFi is a huge plus for me. Overall, I would stay here again. The only downside is the price. Nothing too expensive but there are a couple hotels a bit cheaper that serve the same function but without the newer touches.
I was in Ohio for my husbands company party ,after driving over 350 miles to get there they called off because of snow storm. After meeting up with my husband he thought I should not leave till after the snow stopped and the roads cleared. Got the room and Courtney was great ,she was so nice and answered all my husbands questions .
We are snowbirds travelling back north and stopped in for a night over. The staff was informative and explanative, without, me having to ask a lot of questions. Dining recommendations and discounts were offered and they were available . I didnt have to sit on a bell. The cost was expensive in Canadian dollar bills. Perhaps like Myrtle beach , discounts for Canadians could be helpful . Especially when hotels are not booked, as such. I would have tipped more, and that says a lot from a Canuck.
This hotel was dirty. Card for room stopped working twice (did not have it near my phone) shower curtains, drapes, furniture in hotel were all stained. Towels were stained, dust and dirt on the trimmings in bathroom. Hairs on bathroom floor, stuck to the shower and on the sink. Gross!
I booked a guest room for friend who visited me in Cincinnati. First the location is not very close to Cincinnati(I should check the map more carefully, it shows up when I search Cincinnati, it actually pretty far like 15miles from I-275), but very close to the outlets. The staff were very kind and friendly, I lost my room key they give me an extra immediately.
The desk let the neighbors wake up call to an empty room ring unanswered for what seemed like an eternity. I called down to the desk and the staff answered hulla, very professional way to answer the desk phone from a guest caller. Oh, and I could here the phone ringing from across the hall as if it was in my own room. Old building. Limited parking. Unprofessional staff.
My family and I stayed over the weekend for a little getaway we went to the beach Waterpark I left $220 in the nightstand drawer I came back and $100 was missing they told me it was a seasoned housekeeper and they didnβt believe that she would take it not only did she basically call me a lair to my face I had to file a police report about the missing money long story short I didnβt get my money back!!
When planning travel in the Dayton/Cincinnati area, the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Middletown, OH, is very worthy of your consideration. The staff from the top down are the friendliest anywhere. They go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is stress free and that your expectations are always exceeded.
Location was new to us -- had to be in Franklin, Ohio for a funeral so we were only there one day and nite -- This was a definite excellent place to be for the time we spent there -- very convenient to the church, etc. -- would stay again if we were in the area ....

2022-04-24Pool closed says βunder constructionβ despite advertising they have a pool and hot tub. Pool area has beds being stored in pool area with water in the pool. Musty smell in hotel and rooms but makes sense if they store beds in with the pool.

2022-06-12Musty smell throughout entrance, halls,& elevator. Thank God the room didnβt smell musty. Bed was uncomfortable A.F. sunk in in the middle. Walls and halls need an updating and apparently the pool is STILL closed for whatever construction it might have been closed for with it being full of water and all.

2022-07-04For the price it is a five star. Overall I would say its about a four-star when compared to other places but again the price is good which earns at another star.

2021-10-09The hotel was very clean and a very good value. Sierra, the hostess who checked us in was very polite and accommodating and did a nice job. Some reviews said the hotel needed updating. While some of the decor is a little dated, it was still in good condition and everything was clean. Cleanliness and good customer service is what mattered most to us, and that is what we received. We very much appreciated the hot breakfast. The grab and go breakfasts we experienced at other hotels were terrible. There is a Cracker Barrel very close by which was going to be our backup, but thankfully it wasnt necessary. They had hard boild eggs and scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon (on alternating days), make-yourself belgium waffles, oatmeal with toppings, cereal, bagels, regular and greek yogurt, plus a few other items. Beds were comfortable, area was quiet, and we were very happy with our stay. Price was also very competitive. Would stay here again if in the area. 40 minut drive to Miami University. All hotels closer to the university were booked.

2021-10-14Average experience. Room small - bathroom small. Breakfast disappointing. First morning I reached lobby to eat 40 minutes before end of breakfast window - eggs & sausage gone already. So tried a boiled egg - tasted more it was days old - tough - hard to even bite into. Pool closed for construction. So - average. Barely

2021-11-02See lots of bad reviews about smell and decor. I didnβt smell anything off while I stayed there. Breakfast out every morning, snacks when you come home from work. The only problem I had was that housekeeping came in and refreshed my bathroom and moved every single thing on the counter without me requesting it and I had dnd tag hanging on door. When I called front desk, the girl was a little rude, but I probably was too. Awesome location with plenty of food and shopping choices very close. Overall good value.

2022-06-22I have traveled for a living for the last 17 years and this was one of the worst marriotts I have ever stayed in. Not kept up, smells, breakfast was poor, staff was not attentive, Will not be staying again!
