Toledo was roughly the midpoint of a two-day journey for me, so this hotels location was ideal. Its near I-75, yet in a quiet part of town. Theres good shopping for travel necessities nearby; the Meijer superstore across the road is first-rate. The hotel is in excellent condition and sparkling clean. Staff members I spoke with were all pleasant. I liked the hotel well enough to book a reservation for my return trip a week after this stay.
The bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was really good. Not sure why they seem to turn the elevator off around midnight but the one desk person had to flip a breaker for me to turn it back on. The grab and go breakfast was kind of a joke. If restaurants can operate the hotel should be able to have a decent breakfast available.
Stayed here twice going and coming on a business trip. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and welcoming. My only issue and I only mention this because it happened on both trips was that I found hair in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom both times. The second stay, I also found a dirty bath towel that was left behind the main door once it closed. Other than that, it was a decent over night stay.
The website says they have a pool, however the pool is not open. This hotel was picked because it offered a pool. When I asked the staff why the website says the hotel offers a pool, she told me We do have a pool. So I asked her when would the pool be open, and I was told I could call back tomorrow and ask the manager because she didnt know. The website currently shows: Indoor Pool Hours: Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri: 06:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Sat,Sun: 06:00 AM - 12:00 AM.
The hotel is a nice place to stay. The staff is friendly. I have never encountered an bugs, which is very important for me and worries me when staying in a hotel. The $30 pending charge is a lot more affordable than most of the hotels. I have always chosen this location for staycations when I need a change of scenery and to get away from my norm.
Beds were nice and rooms were ok. Clean, but poor/sloppy workmanship where things were “updated”. (Patches in wallpaper, unfinished woodwork, wood stain on the walls). The “suite” was tiny and the same size as a typical room. It was more like a tiny studio room. No place for a family to eat (or do anything but sleep) if you are staying for an extended time. The coffee was terrible and all they offered for a breakfast was a banana and a muffin. For the money I spent, I would NOT recommend. I would look elsewhere.
Dirty! Elevator floor sticky and dirty. Rug at the entrance very dirty. Dirty walls in our room. Broken light fixtures in the hallway. Pool has been closed for renovation since July and isnt mentioned anywhere on the website (its now November). Wallpaper in the lobby area is peeling off. Vending machines all out of order. Bleh. I expected more from a Marriott property.
1000% recommend one of the best stays I have had. Staff is super friendly and space is clean and nice. I had an issue with my room and Claudia is amazing, helped me get a new room without any hesitation, and the maintenance guy Kevin was super helpful and friendly with the issue that came up too.
This place is really overpriced! The property is in disrepair. The pool had been closed for a month with no mention of it being closed on their site It is located in the red light district of Toledo. The AIR CONDITIONER WAS FULL OF BLACK MOLD!!!Others mentioned to much air freshener its because of the mold!!Smelled so bad I asked for another room. Was told none available and I could speak to the manager in the morning. In the morning I asked for the manager and was told he is not on the property and would call me the next day. Of course no call!Very poor management!!
Our room smelled so musty and horrible! The bath tub leaked when you turned it on. The walls were dirty. There were things in the room that were moldy and falling apart. We chose this hotel because it was on our way home- but we will never stay here again. The price of this room was way too high for what we got. Horrible experience. The owner of this place really needs to do better!
I had to stay here while I was relocating for work and it was an exceptionally bad experience - so much that I am actually writing a review of how bad. The room itself was fine and decently clean, but it is not in a safe area and since I was traveling alone I felt very uneasy the entire stay. They lost my reservation twice and were very unhelpful in trying to get my details confirmed so I - you know - had the room I paid for. The manager would not respond to the calls about these questions the front desk people had to ask for me, and when I got in touch with her she came off kind of rude and accusatory like this was my fault. When I thought everything had been figured out, my last night there a group of people tried getting into my room while I was in bed - because after all that they had ended up double booking the room. I would highly recommend single female travelers not stay here. There was one woman who tried to help me through all this and while she was really apologetic and understanding, I am annoyed that she was given no way to actually help me.
The Fairfield Inn is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hallways are clean as well. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, as well as the housekeepers. This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I go to Toledo to visit my son. Thank you Fairfield Inn for such a wonderful and comfortable experience!
It was the longest four day stay ever. They provided no breakfast service of any type. I understand the Covid situation but other hotels offered modified breakfasts such as bagged meals or instead of buffets having the food served. This Fairfield Inn of Toledo North offered nothing. Most hotels offer daily room cleanings and linen/towel exchange. At this one it was only routinely done when guests check out. Daily I had to gather up my trash and take it down stairs to an outside dumpster to prevent it from piling up in my room. Our sheets were never changed during the four days and I had to exchange my towels daily with either a member of the cleaning staff (if I could find them) or at the front desk. Our rooms were not skipped because of us being in them because we left the hotel each morning and returned in the evening. I will never stay at this property again.
You are traveling back to the distant past. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the property and rooms are properly clean, but I dont think anyone has kept up with the times at all, and management seems to avoid customers as much as possible. There is no way to email or text anyone at the property, at all, which is insane. Wifi logs you out arbitrarily regardless of the length of your stay every day, with no way to preempt that, so you get cut off mid-meeting or mid-work arbitrarily, and then re-signing in is far from as trivial or easy as at other hotels. I suspect (but do not know) that management is hourly and fairly untrained for their roles. So, some good with some not good.
This place is really overpriced! No breakfast available that I found. The property is in disrepair. the landscaping looked like they just mowed the weeds flowers and all. The pool had been closed for a month with no mention of it being closed on their site. It is located in the red light district of Toledo. Also next to a raceway so a good night sleep on race day will be challenging. The air conditioner was full of black mold!!! Smelled so bad I asked for another room. Was told none available and I could speak to the manager in the morning. In the morning I asked for the manager and was told he is not on the property and would call me the next day. Of course no call! Very poor management!!
Terrible location next to Speedway without letting us know. Old and needing updating. 20 minutes to check in -- staff person was awful. Awakened at 1 am with loud music outside from our room. Had to call desk who responded we are fully booked. Our 2nd worst Marriott stay.
I was worried because of the reviews on google but it was very clean! Yes the tv was small and things werent “modern” but I loved the Jacuzzi and how it was set up! I could watch tv while in it and it wasnt in the same room as the bed which was very nice. Also whoever is complaining about “no breakfast because of Covid-19” and “they should make the price cheaper because of it,” need a reality check Karens! You guys have no idea whats been going on with the world especially the US huh? Thats all im gonna say about that. Staff were super friendly and I loved how clean everything was. I am definitely coming back soon!
Stayed here last night. Paid $200 for their best room. This place is disgusting. There is mold in the A/C unit and under trash cans. The room smells like straight up cigarette smoke, mold, throw up, and musty. Looks like rats have been biting all the corners of their furniture. Went to use the hot tub in our room last night and it leaks everywhere and all over the floor. The tile floor is falling apart everywhere. This place isn’t anything that it looks like online. Really disgusting here. The windows are so dirty and have never been cleaned. Not happy with this hotel at all. Look somewhere else!!
I called the hotel a week before our family trip for my sons birthday to reserve a room. The front desk representative i talked to told me I needed to book 2 rooms for the 5 of us and said they would be joint since it was 2 adults and 3 children. I arrived the day of our reservation to check in and the rooms were not joint they were on different floors. The front desk employee was extremely rude. I asked her to please hold the rooms while I called other hotels in the area just in case we couldnt find anything elsewhere and she canceled them anyway. I ended up being able to book elsewhere. Im very disappointed in the customer service.
Stayed here for a last minute visit and will never visit again. The room walls and ceiling had stains on them. The water in the tub would not go down when taking a shower. There was only two towels in the room and you could tell that they had been there for a while and hair was them. The fitted sheet on the bed did not fit it had to be queen sheets on a king bed.
Pleasant stay and loved the comfortable beds. Bagged breakfasts (fruit, muffins and a granola bar) were available on request at the front desk. The room and facilities are dated, but clean. We were appreciative of the pool and hot tub being open. Robert was especially helpful and went above and beyond to tend to our needs and even took care of drying our clothes when the guest dryer was not drying well. Will definitely be back next year.
I put next to the door that people went out to smoke and it was slamming all night and then the fire alarm went off for no reason when I was trying to sleep. We booked for the pool and hot tub which was closed and there was no notice until we got there. One of the front desk workers was super rude.
I have stayed at this hotel since it opened and it’s gone to crap. If you stay more than one night, you can’t get your room cleaned and the pool is as dirty at the Maumee River. Literally had film floating on the top. Mask wearing is not enforced and although there is a no smoking sign on the door, smoking was permitted during my stay and you could smell it through the halls. Obviously the cleaning people don’t care because they didn’t report it and the culprits were allowed to stay. This place has gone completely down and only good if you’re trying to party. Don’t use this hotel if you need rest. The doors slam so hard, you’ll be up all night listening to your neighbors run in and out.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Half of the room is falling apart. My sheets had a stain on it. The coffee pot had mold in it. The fire alarm went off at 4 in the morning and was told its a false alarm. I would never stay here or let anyone in my family stay at a hotel by Marriott again. Honestly it was embarrassing staying here. If I could give it no stars I would.
We checked in for the night specifically to use the pool and the heater had broken. Pool was way too cold for a child to swim in. We are locals only interested in swimming, not sleeping in the room etc. Was a waste of money to not be able to swim all Saturday. We don’t use any other amenities and the jacuzzi just isn’t the same as being able to swim. One good thing is Maria at the front desk- she always provides impeccable customer service, she is the shining star at this hotel.
Hotel was fairly clean but the pillows and mattress were very low quality. The staff in the evenings was not very friendly. The staff let you in the pool area and keep a count on the amount of people in the pool and hot tub so that they keep up with cdc guidelines which is a positive. Unfortunately the staff allowed one adult with 6 children into the pool area. Three of them of which were under 5 and they were in the hot tub unattended. Hotel seemed very low quality in general.
The gal at the front desk is SO sweet- Jasmine I think- l Ill lead with that ! I stay at Fairfields often and this is the worst one. The carpet is falling apart, wallpaper coming off wall, I stepped into the bathroom and tile popped up as I walked. Cracks in it everywhere. It didnt appear very clean, toothpaste still in sink, soap still stuck to the hottub sides and the coffee maker still had coffee in it. Pictured is our grab bag breakfast. A nearly complete frozen banana, a semi smushed and frozen muffin and a cup of Apple Juice. The only thing that I could consume here is the apple juice. Paid way too much for this and am extremely disappointed. $200 for the room.Wont be coming back for sure.
Honestly we got the room to sleep, and it served its purpose but we will not stay there again. The room smelled like vomit, the latch locks between the rooms were busted. Trash cans had no liners. No bathroom floor mat. Cleaning person had no shows on. We will not return to this location as it did no stand up to the standards we are used to for Fairfield/Marriot.
I hate to leave poor reviews, but I also don’t want someone to have the experience we had. This hotel is just awful - very poorly maintained. The worst of it was that we could hear every step of every person in the room above us and next to us. After a sleepless night we checked out and found another hotel. Shame on the owners for not putting the minimum amount of care into the property The staff was delightful and I feel bad they they have to put up with these conditions.
I had a fantastic experience with Fairfield by Marriott in Toledo. My best friend and I were staying as part of her birthday weekend. This was my first time making reservations, and it went so smoothly. Check-in was fast and the two ladies at the desk were very friendly and explained everything very clearly. My room was well cleaned and organized, and the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. We used the pool and hot tub- both were comfortably warm, and the towels in the pool area were restocked before we had the chance to tell the front desk there were none. Breakfast was good and the area was clean. Check-out was smooth and the gentleman who helped me was very friendly!
Nice location. However, pool and jacuzzi water was extremely cloudy. Turned on the jets to see if that would clear it up. Jets didn’t work. Jacuzzi water was like warm. Hair and bandaids littered the surroundings of both pool and jacuzzi. We passed on getting in either.Room was ‘clean’ but lots of hair on the bed skirt. Bathtub was very slow to drain.Parking lot to our surprise had drug paraphernalia littered in spots. And the morning police had to visit to take a patron to the jails continental breakfast (if you know what I mean) we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. This was our 7th hotel in our travels for the week. The first one we were disappointed with.
This hotel is near a track. So late into the night all you will hear are engines revving. Besides being up well past midnight because of this, my stay was fine. I wish I had of known this was next door to a race track because I would have stayed elsewhere. The room was fine. Nothing extravagant. Something was up with the A/C unit so I didnt turn it on. Thankfully, during this time of the year, I didnt need to. (See the uploaded pictures.)The front desk staff was very friendly and my special requests were accommodated without hassle. The lady at the counter even remembered my name and inquired about my stay everytime I entered through the lobby. I rate the customer service a 5/5.Breakfast was just okay.Would I stay here again? No. For it not to be so busy, the noise level in this place from other guests and the track prevented me from getting any good sleep.
I was very pleased with our experience! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The accommodations were excellent! We had 2 kids and an infant with us. It was great to be able to go to the front desk area and grab snacks from their store. The pizza rolls were a hit! The room was quiet and clean. We will stay here again the next time we visit Toledo.
Its a Fairfield, but an excellent Fairfield. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a good condition. Water pressure in the shower was excellent, and temperature control was quite good. I was recognized for being an elite member and offered a free cold water + the welcome points. Staff is very nice here. Internet speeds were high and I had no issues connecting. Breakfast items were kept stocked throughout breakfast and staff kept watch over breakfast - which was nice as they were on top of items as they started to empty.
Very courteous staff. Check-in experience was great. Nice rooms and a nice pool with a hot tub. Had fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, omelettes, strawberries, bananas, and apple juice for breakfast. The breakfast staff kept the breakfast open for an extra few minutes for us late risers and even asked if we wanted them to leave anything out once they started packing up. Great experience.
I thought the general hotel appearance was good and clean. Room was standard and initially seemed clean, however, upon using the bathroom, noticed what appeared to be dried blood on the front rim of the toilet. Definitely turned me off and negatively impacted the whole impression of the facility. We were prepared to use the pool but decided we were too tired in the evening to do so. We had no problems with internet connectivity. The continental breakfast was standard, but good fare. Eggs, omelets and bacon were all well cooked and warm.

The Hotel was beautiful, clean, great staff. Good location. Pool and Hot tub wonderful. The hours for check in/out are outstanding. I had phone service trouble - dead spot with T-Mobile, not the Hotels fault but it was a great inconvenience. I could text and I had Data. TV stations good. Lobby nice.
My stay was disappointing for a few reasons. I had a first floor room, the bathroom was dirty and I found a tick in my bed. I had an empty orange juice bottle with me so I captured it, took it to the front desk and asked that a manger call me. Moe the manager called to let me know it was not a bed bug, to which I replied, I agree its not a bed bug... its a TICK! Additionally, I chose this hotel in part because they offered a continental breakfast. No breakfast was provided due to COVID. The manager was unwilling to issue any portion of a refund. I expect better from the Marriott chain.
While traveling from IA back to CT my daughter, 5 yr. old granddaughter and I drove 15 mile off of I80 to your Fairfield Suites, arriving at 10:30 on. We were struck by the smell of cigarette smoke and signing a form stating smoking was not allowed, left of with questions. The beds were too soft, pillows too lumpy, the smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere and very noisy. We shall not return.
Lets just say I will never step foot into another Marriott ever. Pool had tons of kids running splashing and yelling, even though there was a limit which was way over due to covid. For a $200.00 room i walked in and was greeted with a old used band aid on the jacuzzi. I went down to complaine nicely and was given supplies to clean it up. When I started to clean it i saw what looked like to be a pube hair. At that point I was leaving. Dropped a pen on the ground and went to pick it up and saw a bloody kleenex or paper towel right in front of me. The manager did not do or say anything when I called the next day had to drive 2-30 hours back home that night.
This was my second time staying here and it was a great stay like the first. First and foremost the price is a steal! I have never stayed at a hotel this nice for so cheap. They could definitely raise their rates and I dont think anyone would mind. The double queen rooms are VERY spacious, staff is always attentive, and the breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. The pool area was nice and clean and fully stocked with towels. The location also has easy access to main roads, highway, and numbers of fine cuisine establishments. Also right near numbers of shopping attractions. I will most definitely be back!
Hotel was clean but in need of some improvements. We stayed in a king bedroom suite. The TV was small, the wallpaper was peeling off of the wall in the bathroom, and our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The hotel is directly next to a 24 hr trucking company. You can hear the trucks being loaded all hours of the night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The shower heads were adjustable and the front desk staff was very nice. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. You would be better off going to the Bob Evans down the street.
My Go-to hotel while visiting North Toledo. Its close to food and Meijer (like a Walmart). I think we may have encountered the manager, and like all the staff, was extremely friendly and gave top customer service. The pool was well maintained and the market area was always well stocked. Didnt request room service, but room was very clean upon arrival and workers seem to follow proper cleaning protocols. Fabulous Marriott property for the area and love how close it is to express way access.
Stay away from this hotel. It reeks of pot and cigarettes. Every corner is filled with dirt and grime. No masks, no distancing. The pool was repulsive. Couldnt see the bottom. Housekeeping staff didnt wear masks. The couch in my room was stained all over. Even the office chair had a white film on the back. There was food smashed in the carpet. The floors were sticky. The elevator hasnt been swept in weeks. The rug in the elevator was stained and sticky.
The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the complimentary hot breakfast was delicious! There were a few minor defects in the walls but they did not affect my stay at all.The one complaint I would have is the feeling of being kicked out. Check out was at noon and at 11:50 the cleaning staff knocked on the door to try and get in the room. Then at 11:55 the front desk called and asked if I would be staying another night. I understand they need to get in and clean the rooms but allow me to stay until the check out time before you start pestering me to leave.
Our stay was excellent. Room and linens were veryclean, we actually arrived to a room with music, a bathroom that smelled fresh and clean and plentiful towels. Breakfast had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Staff was nice, and professional. Very helpful. The photos online matched the hotel which always is a PLUS!! Bed was comfy! Breakfast was AMAZING, and hot! Plus they has turkey meats! Most hotels only have pork options! We were so happy to have a great stay as we were taking our daughter to college!
The hotel was very nice. It exceeded my expectations. It was clean and looked updated, unlike some other reason stays I have had at other motels. The breakfast area was very large and comfortable, and the free breakfast was good and coffee bar well stocked. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable and once again looked clean, not overly used.Staff was all very nice and friendly. Pool was alright, a little small but at least temperature was alright.Would definitely recommend for a short stay!
The hotel itself is located in what appears to be far out there. Once you are there, the staff is great. Really friendly and helpful. They also are responsive to your needs. Acknowledged status with Marriott. The pool seemed a bit cloudy, the hot tub was nice, not too hot. The area just outside of the pool, had nice tables and greenery that made it feel private so you could sit out there in your swimsuit and be comfortable. Beds, well they are on the softer side, and the pillows are what I would call normal pillows. When you go to most places, you touch them and the go completely flat, (you need 10 of them to elevate your head) not these. Bathroom well stocked with nicer shampoos, conditioner and lotion. Shower was nice and clean, same with the toilet and counter/sink. Breakfast, well, if you are looking for hot sausage, (temp wise) or hot eggs, (temp wise) you will be disappointed, There was plenty of food, nice variety, just not hot. Was lukewarm at best. Again, the staff did a great job and acknowledged you every time you walked by. If you are looking for a place to rest after a long drive to or fro this location would suit anyone just fine.
If you want to actually sleep, this is not the hotel for you. If you want to rest assured that standards of cleanliness are applied especially during the Covid pandemic, this is not the hotel for you. From the cops coming to another room on my floor, to the disgusting nature of the room, there was no sleep to be had.
The staff was friendly and great. The positives: the lobby and the hallways have been updated; the breakfast is included with the room and is above average compared to other hotel chains; the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The negatives: the wall paper was peeling in certain areas of the room and in the bathroom; significant crack in the floor of the bathroom. All cosmetic, but you just dont expect those things when you are paying a premium for a Marriott brand hotel.
Location was great; lots of shopping, gas stations & restaurants; loved that it was next door to Toledo Speedway, safe to walk to & from even late at night. Bed & room were most clean & comfortable. Breakfast was shutting down early (before 10 am) even though guests still coming down for food. Would prefer to have bacon over the sausage patties, otherwise it was great. had issues with my credit card not getting properly charged. not informed of $20 deposit charged upon reservation & still waiting for the proper amount to get charged to my card (I checked out 3 days ago). in meantime, hotel still holding extra amount over total cost of stay. dont try blaming bank, they say it is the hotel who made the charge & has not sent it through. staff tried to fix this while I was there (I discovered it myself checking my card), but was not able to. the elevator is slow & is a bit creepy. I didnt feel safe riding it alone. I would love to stay here again, but will take more caution on my reservation & check in & I would try to get on the 1st floor. Not all of us are crooks trying to rip off or destroy hotels.
Hotel was clean and comfy. Was able to sleep well and wake up the next morning well rested each day. The hotel manager was very helpful and accommodated our groups special needs throughout the week. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning. I would stay here again whether for a personal trip or business.
After a long day we arrived just before 9pm (Saturday). We checked in our room (325), unpacked a few things and turned on the television.. It didnt work. Michele called the front desk. The woman told her to unplug the TV or cable. I tried both, nothing! I called the front desk again and again and again!. After 3 times I went down to the front desk to complain about the TV not working. Instead of finding a solution she just said Sorry..... no other rooms available! The next morning (Sunday) we talked to Maria. I assume she was the assistant manager for the weekend. Maria said there was nothing she could do! She told us to call the Manager (Mo) Monday morning to discuss the bad experience we had with our hotel room and the hotel staff Saturday evening. We called Mo three times Monday and left messages. No response! Nothing!! The room we paid for was unacceptable! In all of my travels, I have never experienced hotel service worse than this! UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Upon arriving the staff was very friendly and was sure to explain all available amenities. I received my key card and proceeded to my room, only to find that the bed was not made, dirty towels were piled on the bathroom floor and trash was on top of the microwave. I returned to the front desk, explained the situation and was given another room, along with a sincere apology...this next room was nice and clean.I saw someone mention noise in another review. I agree, this location has much to be desired. There is some sort of car racing track next door, a train nearby and the view out of the back of the hotel is of a semi loading dock, complete with graffiti.
This was a really nice Fairfield Inn. Everything was neat and clean. The lobby had some Christmas decorations out and that looked very nice. The room was clean, plenty of towels, good internet speed and a lot of TV channels (I love lots of choices). The bed was on the firm side but still cushy. We had the complimentary breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, many types of breads, bagels, and muffins. It looked like they had several cereals and fresh fruit too!All-in-all it was a nice place to stay and I would stay there again.
We stopped here overnight driving from Colorado home to New York. It was definitely clean and comfortable which is so appreciated. The rates were great considering we weren’t looking for any amenities, just a place to sleep with the kids comfortably for the night. It was quiet and the staff were very welcoming.
Bed bugs! The manager said he would comp us for our entire 3 day stay and did not keep his word. We would have left rather then stay in a hotel with bed bugs, but we had a wedding in the city and we didn’t have time to deal with this so he said he would comp us and went back on his word.
My visit to Fairfield in was.. Well lets just say sub par. I visited the Fairfield inn as part of an orientation for a job. As I waited in the parking lot with my 5 year old daughter in the back seat at 7:45 am a police cruiser pulled into the parking lot. I thought nothing of it because I wasnt engaged in any wrong doing. As the police got closer and closer to my vehicle I looked around and began to realize there were no other vehicles in the vecinity where I was parked. As this thought crossed my mind the two police officers exited their vehicle and began approaching my vehicle, hands on their weapons mind you. One officer approached on either side of my vehicle, the officer on the passenger side signaled for me to roll down the window. In which I complied as a law abiding citizen of this city and this country. As I rolled the window down, I noticed a white Ford suv with extremely dark tinted windows (Including the windshield) approach slowly. A man in plain clothes got out of the white suv and reached into his shirt and pulled out a badge. He failed to identify himself as law enforcement, Considering he had a shiny silver badge. He then approached the window of my vehicle asking what was in my book bag... As I had walked into the hotel a few minutes prior with a bookbag, which housed my lunch for the day, a notebook, and a writing utensil. He then proceeded to order me out of my vehicle and ask vulgure questions. He started with how much dope is in the bookbag with a look of extreme concern and nervousness on my face I said excuse me to which he began to ask me Do you know the owner to which I replied of the hotel? No sir I dont with an even more confused look on my face. He then continued to hassle me about my vehicle not having a front plate. Which is no longer required by Ohio law. He then turned around and entered his vehicle. Im assuming because of the utter embarrassment he felt for his lack of intelligence and exited the parking lot. Moral of the story dont visit the Fairfield inn and definitely dont ever have a false sense of security from law enforcement, whether you are involved in criminal activity or not.
TERRIBLE service !! Front desk was not pleasant when checking in. We are GOLD members and felt as if we were inconveniencing the lady by checking in. Then we go down for a hottub and there were children doing cannon balls in the pool and running all over splashing. These kids werent even supervised by a parent. You try to let front desk know and they tell you theres nothing they can do, even though the Pool Rules are clearly posted otherwise. The TV in the room is small and there isnt even a plug by the bed. DO NOT recommend this place at all. Stay somewhere else of you are looking for a pleasant experience.
This was the best stay we have had in 30 years of visiting this area. The staff were fantastic. Everything in the room was perfect. There was nothing I could complain about. Breakfast was great and ready before the time they said it would be and plentiful. The Lobby was very clean and staff were very polite and willing to take care of any issue or need that you ask of them. Will always stay here when visiting this area. Will definitely recommend the Fairfield Inn to anyone that is going to this area.
Room was clean. Bed was fairly comfortable, although would have preferred a firmer mattress. Bathroom was clean but toiletries were not of good quality. TV screen was smaller but sufficient for occasional viewing. TV offered Netflix and other live streaming options which was nice (didnt have to plug in my laptop to watch Netflix). Complimentary breakfast was reasonable stocked with both cold and hot breakfast items. Fresh (self) baked waffles were of poor quality. Eggs were good. There were many fast food places close by as well as a grocery store which is probably useful for families staying. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room. Overall, not a bad place to stay for one or two nights.
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for one night during our sons baseball tournament. The location is good, with shopping, fast food restaurants very close and sit down restaurants about 10 minutes away. The lobby area was clean and well kept. The room was okay however I wouldnt say it was exceptional. The size of the room was adequate for 3 adults however, the cleanliness could be improved. I expect the bed sheets to be crisp and they appeared wrinkled. The free breakfast was fair, however not exceptional.
I highly recommend this motel. My stay was the best I have experienced in a very long time. The staff distinguished themselves in truly making me feel as though I were the only guest there. My room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was hot and delicious. The coffee pot was kept fresh and filled all day. This place is a gem!
This hotel was very clean, the beds were so comfortable. It smelled clean with no odor of smoke. Staff were so helpful. Hot breakfast was really good. 24 hour coffee was great. Pool was not freezing cold and hot tub was wonderful. There was no noise of traffic. I wish I could find one this good at every stay when we travel. I highly recommend it if you are traveling to Toledo. Not far from zoo and bass pro shop.
Staff was unprofessional, not very welcoming. Room was dirty. Could use some pest control, (killed 2 bugs during my stay) Carpets were wet. Room service made us pick up clean linens. Found dirty socks from the prior guest.(which tells me our room was NOT cleaned) the breakfast was the same for the whole 3 day stay. (Very basic, small selection compared to other marriot breakfasts)
Room is clean trough out and bed is real comfortable. Location is perfect for the event I was participating in. Counter help was not in the best of moods. Although I feel she was doing her best on a possible bad day personally. Rate is somewhat high for my own financial standing. But, I would recommend it as a place anyone would like to spend a night or two.
Agents must be trained to inform guest of price adjustments when inquiring about room changes even if they accidentally state that the rates are the same. As a guest and hotel director I take the word of an agent and if it’s incorrect a simple call to the room to re-evaluate what was told would of been sufficient
Upon checking into hotel ~ the first room had a foul odor - smelled of urine - was moved to a second room (without issue I might add). Once got the second room, I did not realize until almost time to check out that there was a pair of dirty men underwear crumpled in the corner of the room. at this point, I am wondering if the room was ever even cleaned, were the sheets changed, was the tub cleaned, etc...who knows??? But for all of this... I received a 25% discount. They could not even comp my room. The manager even had the audacity to ask what does she want to be done, we gave her 25% off. Well, I guess their loyalty does not lie with me, therefore I will not be staying there again.
Stayed at the Fairfield while attending a wedding in Perrysburg. We had no problems while there. We chose the executive suite to stay in since my adult daughter was in the room with my husband and myself. There were two rooms, each having its own t.v. The room was cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast was o.k. to me, but others in my group were pleased with it. I would stay again if in the area.
Ok stay for a night of two. Room decor nice. Beds comfortable. Internet connection unavailable then available when we check out not good. And millipedes in the bathroom at least I think thats what they were. Toilet had stains on seat. But the rest was ok. Pool was good. We actually got breakfast this time last time had to eat at Bob Evans , but had to wake at 6:00 am to get it. Another family went at 7:30 nothing left so they left pretty upset in the elevator. That needs to be fixed asap.
Was in the area for a business meeting. The meeting was late, so I opted to stay the night. The hotel was in a good location right off the highway. The lobby was nice and clean. I checked in through the app. I received a bottle a water with my room keys. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed a hot shower. The water pressure was excellent. I did not have a chance to explore the pool, maybe next time.
The hotel itself was very nice. Clean. Polite staff. Everything was in good working order. My only complaint was that the rate given to me when I booked my room was $10 lower than when I had arrived. I had mentioned it at the time of check-in, but $10 isnt worth arguing over so I let it be.
Worst service ever!!! Upon check in felt like we were inconveniencing the lady at front desk. After a long day of driving we went to pool to relax and could not use pool. 3 young children in there alone yelling top of their lungs and running around doing cannon balls in pool. Tried hot tub but kept getting splashed by them and the loudness was out of control. Spoke to front desk and was told nothing they would do. Another group of kids came in and they were all yelling songs or something in pool at top of their lungs, needless to say we had to leave. I mentioned the sign about pool rules at front desk we could hear everything coming from pool and they would do nothing. Our room was on 3rd floor and we could her the kids screaming from up there. I am gold member at hotel but was offered nothing upon check in and had to ask. Hotel front clerks were very rude entire time. I will not be staying there again.
Very happy this hotel had a room available as there were none left in the area. It was a last minute cancellation and we were very happy to be staying here. The staff was very kind, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The pool and hot tub were fun for the kids to splash in and the breakfast was the usual fare but was tasty. All in all, a great stay at a good price!
Enroute to a wedding outside of Chicago and coming from northeast PA, I reserved two nights at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Toledo North. It was my first time staying at a Fairlfield Inn. Never knowing what a new hotel is like, I was thrilled to note its comfort and cleanliness with friendly service from the receptionist to cleaning personnel in all aspects. The king size bed was firm, smoothly made, very clean and people friendly bathroom for the more senior residents as well, ample room and neatly spaced, accommodative toiletries. outlets are in easy to reach spaces to re-charge cellphones and laptops. The parking lot has surveillance cameras. The hotel is in a very quiet and neat area, close to a variety of restaurants and other large popular hotels. it is like a tourist nook. Easy access to the city for its sights (I went to the wonderful Toledo Museum of Art and the zoo (easy to walk through since the areas are quite close to each other. It has a great aquarium! great fun for the children. The room at the hotel is nice an spacious. The heater-air conditioner worked excellently and kept the room at a pleasant temperature without a noisy fan blowing the air. I had a great non-interrupted sleep. Breakfast included hot items and the kitchen personnel even offered to bring out some food that had been packed away already for some late-comers!!!!!!! Usually it would be....You are too late and I have to get on with my business.! Not here!!!!! Just the opposite. These People Really Cared!!! I have never heard of any one doing that. As a professor at a university I could easily have stayed there more than a week to quietly work on articles to be published and respite from other duties. Unfortunately, I had to leave. However, I Did Stay an Extra Night Because of All of the Above factors. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this Fairfield Inn & Suites Toledo North. You will be very happy you did. I certainly will the next time I have to pass in the area again!!!! Thank you, manager and everyone at the inn.
Previous guess hid crumb substance (looked like cat liter) under the trash can and we found it. Wish housekeeping would have found it before we checked into the room. These was smoking going on at the hotel (smelled like cigars) and was very strong, especially In the elevator. Two Service dogs freely roamed the breakfast area and did that shaking thing where hair and slob flying everywhere right next to the buffet. There are things the staff cant control I understand that. So I will not stay at another Fairfield inn
Staff is very friendly. They checked on our needs several times when we walked by and always greeted us. Room was very clean, TV brand new and even offered Netflix and Hulu. Pool was clean. Breakfast was hot, delicious and fully stocked. No complaints at all, would love to stay again!
Main hallway to our wasnt swept the whole length of our stay, 4 days..the crumbs and dirt kept being multiplied. Internet was out for 2 days, you can hear the people above way too easily. The continental breakfast was good, but staff didnt keep counters clean and the plates/bowls were plastic and melted with the hot foods.
The hotel was clean and the staff was kind and professional. My issue was with the switched accommodations; I was booked for a twin room but was provided an executive king. My daughter go the best bed; me the pull out sleeper sofa. I had two speaking engagements that next day and a long drive home.No one was truly apologetic.
We broke down on I-75 just yards away from the FFI and 210 miles from home without any luggage. The staff accommodated us by getting personal items they had on hand. They went out of their way to check on our vehicle and kept us up to date. We paid a very low average rate without a reservation. Food in the area is pretty good.
BEDBUGS at this location. I found a live bedbug in our room. The maintenance man confirmed it was a bedbug. We had bites and the manager (Moe) refused to refund our 3 night stay. He refunded 1 night because “you only saw it 1 night so I’m only refunding 1 night”Beware if you stay at Here
BED BUG ALERT stayed here 2 times this month on opposite sides of the hotel. 1st time I found a bite but it was really bad so I thought it must be a spider. So I stayed again against my better judgement. I was wrong I woke up today covered in bites. I am extremely allergic to them so I guess its going to be another couple weeks of torture. I called the hotel to inform them. The woman said that the manager would call me..I heard nothing back from him. He is obviously a hotel owner that does not care. I will be reporting to all sources here are some pictures so everyone knows Im not unjustified in my accusations. The one bleeding is the one from 2 weeks ago that has still not healed. There are many more but I can not show the pictures.
Please tell the manager Moe and Emily they are awesome. The room I booked third party wasnt the room I thought I booked. After explaining the problem to Moe He cheerfully fixed it and made our stay the best experience. Then I asked Emily for extra pillows which she happily gave to me. While talking to her I told her how her manger (Moe) went out of his way to get me the best room. She told me that she felt the same way about him being a great boss. You usually dont hear workers that excited to tell you how they feel about their boss, but she did. When managers treat their customers and their employees great you cant lose everyone wins. Im sure theyll treat you the same way so please let them know. We stayed in the King Whirlpool room we totally recommend it.
Was there for a school testing event that they hosted in one of their conference rooms. The staff directed my in a very relaxed way towards the correct room immediately after walking in. Based on my short experience there I was impressed! Management seemed to actually be enjoying working unlike many hotels.
This hotel provided us with a very clean comfortable room after a long drive from Nashville as we were heading home to Toronto. The front desk staff were cheerful and professional. Great value. If on my travels I find myself anywhere near Toledo again this is where Ill stay.
I had a great experience during my time at the Fairfield in and suites Toledo north. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was excellent. I also really enjoyed using the fitness center! I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back to this one if I am in Toledo again!
We were coming into town for the Ice Fest and booked this room for its location. The hotel front staff were very friendly and rooms were very clean and beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet and the staff attending the breakfast were great. We will defiantly stay there again. We saw how close it was to the Toledo speedway and want to come back this summer for a Friday night race.
The entire staff were excellent. The ladies who maned the front desk during the day and night were very friendly and helpful. By helping me find alternate routes to my destinations during all the road construction, they saved me time and my sanity. The complimentary breakfast was great and the ladies who kept it stocked were a great addition to your staff.
Upon arrival was told no other guest even allowed in room which seems a little weird as my kids wanted to have a couple friends up a while but we just said no so we get in room. No garbage bags no coffee for morning bed leg broke and held up with pvc pipe. Over look it all because we came to swim get to pool and it was far from heated it was freezing like they filled it with winter water from outside. Couldnt use hot hub because so many were in there because they refused to swim also..So went back to front to ask why pool was cold and they said they just refilled and had issues and let maintenance know but had no control over.. So then i just ask for refund of some kind as i was only there less than an hour at this point and get told they cant do anything for me..how nice so I paid 120$ to sleep in a broke down bed with a bunch of upset kids...Not the stay we expected..And then woke up to no coffee in room which just was it and was totally over stay by this time..
The location is off the highway near a racing Speedway. The room was clean. The heater is a little weird because theres no actual temperature setting just high or low. The remote control only has up and down buttons no numbers. The staff was pleasant and they actually had hot items for breakfast like eggs, sausage and a waffle station.
The staff here was really great and it made all the difference. They were friendly, available to answer questions and to direct me when needed. Although I believe they could have had more staff to monitor the fitness center and pool, the women that were there did a fantastic job with the shortage. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was good.
I was dissapointed in my latest stay at the Fairfield Toledo North. While the hotel was fine, the staff was just going through the motions. There was no feeling that they were there to take care of the customers. The hotel had a very flat feeling. They were not rude or anything, just did not have any personality or seem to care about the guest. Just going through the steps necessary to stay employed.
Our room carpets were wet and one bed was wet. Upon asking the lady downstairs about it she told me I could change the sheets myself. I asked if someone there could do it and she said no. Tried to use a laundry bag and they were crumpled and had holes in them. Manager would not return my call until I went above him and left a message for him at corporate. He tried to blame everything on the new girl when the new girl was the nicest and most helpful. He really didn’t solve any problems and didn’t care to.
I really loved this place while working my travel assignment at a nearby hospital. However this morning, immediately after turning on the shower and stepping in I lost my footing on the smooth bottom tub. I hit my ankle on the faucet on my way down and hit my head on the giant solid wood bathroom door. Im 32 yo and I can count on one hand the amount of times Ive slipped and fell on anything except ice since I was a young child....
I thought I had booked a room with one bed and a pull out couch for my adult son who was traveling with me. I apparently hadnt. The front desk put us in a suite to accommodate the situation. I was very grateful Very nicely kept hotel. I travel a lot. Its totally non smoking.
This was my first time staying at a Fairfield Inn. I was extremely impressed with the staff and my room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Great breakfast. Fast and reliable internet. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Toledo, Ohio.
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice in 12 months. I adore the front desk managers (both night and day managers). Best customer service ever! They will bend over backwards to make customers happy. They have an awesome boss. I wish all hotels operated like this. May God bless them.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. My husband and I paid for a room and didnt even stay here due to the 2 ladies from housekeeping that were apparently running the place. We went to check in and Tessa from housekeeping (thats what her name tag said) was standing there. I have her my info and she said a total that was $30 more than we were quoted. I wasnt paying a higher than quoted price and thats when she got rude. She said it wasnt her problem if I couldnt afford $30 and I should just leave and I told her I had reservations and wasnt leaving if they were charging my card. Thats when she said if you dont leave I am calling the cops and we are charging your card anyways, that is our policy. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasnt anybody in charge and I had to speak to her. This lady then picked up the phone and called the cops. My husband and I left because it wasnt worth the drama, but this woman charged my card before I was to my car! She charged me $200 when I told her not to charge my card and after she told me to leave. I have filed a complaint, but am still out $200!! This place is a joke and I wont be returning!
Bed sheets dirty and or stained! Hair in both tubs of whirlpool room. Pool and hottub of pool could be nice if other patrons would consider they are not the only ones who would like to use facilities too. Children can have fun but need to be respectful of others too and be supervised per hotel policy!
Not all outlets worked, room air conditioner/heater smelled musty. Property is right near trucking facilities, if I had not had a sound machine, likely truck noise would have been an issue. Area was not family friendly, i.e, gentleman clubs less than a mile down the road right across from restaurants. I do not consider this family friendly.
Recapping what I already wrote in previous screens, I find myself annoyed that I paid to stay here. The hotel appeared to be nice online and the common areas were probably the most well put areas, although I didnt hang out in any one of them for a lengthy period of time... so given what I saw in my room I wouldnt be surprised if there were issues in the lobby, dining areas as well. There was a huge crack in the wall of the shower in my room. The carpets were disgusting, by the look of the bottoms of my familys socks. The bed was not comfortable. The separation of the bedroom from the living space was inadequate. There were cracks in the walls in various places throughout the room. And the pool had hundreds of pieces of broken tile/grout strewn around both in the pool and around it.
My fiance and I stayed here while he was in town for a weekend-he is typically in Georgia in the US Air Force. The military discount was great and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Although it was a good price, it was a great stay. Lots of amenities and convenient that breakfast was being set up at 5 am when I head to work. I would recommend for anyone passing through and needing a place to stay to check this out! Also conveniently next to Toledo Motor Speedway! May be back! Always impressed with Marriott.
Entire floor smelled like weed. My friend took her daughter and her friends swimming and got them a room. The staff complained that it was too many people in the pool, it was only 7 of us. So we got out and they still continued to harass us. They asked us to leave, we werent being loud or anything. My friend payed over $200 for two rooms and when she asked for her money back, they called the police. She asked to speak with a manager and the staff said hes in Canada and cant be reached. She had to call corporate just to get her money back. Worse hotel experience of my life. I have never encountered such disrespect from a staff. They treated us as if we werent even people. Never going back.
Pretty nice basic hotel for the money. Very clean and great staff. Food was good and they even have gluten free options if you ask. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because if it werent for my family it would have been impossible for me to stay here. Im a full time wheelchair user and the door to the room is so heavy, even with having an accessable room that I couldnt open it. Even with my wheels locked the door was so heavy it would just scoot my car backwards on the carpet when I pushed on it. There was absolutely no way for me to get in or out without someone else there. I have a service dog but it was also too heavy for her. My second issue was the pool. The kids... Mostly teens, were so loud. Thank God the pool closes at 11pm. Other than those two things the stay was great. Great receptionist, kitchen staff, and cleaning staff bit if your elderly, in a wheelchair, have dwarfism or cant push a lot if weight this isnt the place for you. My parents are in the 50s and 60s and able bodied and struggled with the door.
I honestly love this place they had schedules for pool times also a guidelines as far as they were only allowing certain amount of guests in the lobby at a time also is sanitized the beds are very comfortable the pillows I cant complain about they were goose feathers also they have a vending machine and snacks you can get there however they do not have room service that is the only downfall of this place the staff was really amazing very attentive I would recommend this place to anybody coming into town and looking for a place to stay for a couple days and it is also a family oriented Hotel adults you know what I mean
Not a great place to stay if traveling the turnpike, too far out of the way. Not much available around the hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet, pool is open until 11 pm, breakfast standard fare. For those who dont know the area need more info on the website before booking.
Given the lower level of expectations as this is not a full-service Marriott property, this Fairfield was still only average, and a disappointment given my experience working and staying with the various Marriott properties. The room had a few small items broken or otherwise unsightly, and our floor smelled like someone had been smoking a profuse amount of week. A simple walk-through of the property by staff should have caught that.
This hotel is one of the best in town. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are super clean and spacious. There are lots of food options for breakfast and snacks. Its conveniently near stores and places to eat as well as the freeway...but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The internet is slightly slow but I forgive them lol.
Front desk staff was clearly not interested in working for the company, nor were they interested in working in a customer service profession. Communicating with the staff was impossible. They ignored my issues and dismissed them without any concern and then proceeded to complain about the company and coworkers. I generally dont write reviews, and Ive never had an issue like this with a hotel, but this was an extreme case. I will not be staying with Fairfield Inn & Suites again after my experience with them.
Great place and great price! This is the 2nd time I have been here. Both times it was family and event related. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hot breakfast cant be beaten. Beds are comfortable. They offer free wifi a day you can log into Netflix, YouTube and more for entertainment. Nice size pool and small exercise room. The staff are very helpful. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores are nearby too. You always get a good deal at Marriott properties.
This place is horrible. I cancelled a reservation for 2 room using the confirmation number that was sent to me in the booking email. All of a sudden I have a charge for one of the rooms on my credit card. I call the hotel, they tell me it is because I didnt cancel both rooms. WHAT?!?! I only had one confirmation number/email and that confirmation number had all the information for both rooms. How would I know that there were two confirmation numbers if Fairfield didnt send me it?I filed a complaint through the Fairfield company line. It was explained to me this happens all the time due to how their system works. The nice woman I worked with said she would file a case for me. Unfortunately I never heard back on the status. I followed up about 10 days later and got told the General Manager of the hotel would not refund my money because the hotel was sold out. So now I am out of the money due to their horrible system!!!!! They wouldnt work with me to help me resolve the issue and simply said no.
This hotel was newly updated & very clean. Ive never stayed at Fairfield Inn and was pleasantly surprised by the roominess, decor & overall service at the hotel. Our kids had a great time and breakfast was complimentary with various options to choose from to cover all preferences. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We came from Texas for a family birthday(. 9 of us )stayed there and we all enjoyed our 3 night stay. The rooms and hotel were very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Had all the amenities you need. Next time we are in Toledo we will definitely stay there.
We always enjoy our stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites. It is Our Hotel. What a great value for the money. The rooms are nice and clean. They have a fitness room, indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and easy excess to the internet. Centrally located. AND..... free hot breakfast! All at an affordable rate. Why stay anywhere else?
The staff was very friendly and my room was cozy and spotless. The location was conveniently located next to Meijer and Toledo Speedway. There were races going on but the noise was very faint and did not bother me. My only complaint is that the pool was dingy and the rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get.
Pool is dirty. Floor of pool cracked an pieces missing. Hot tub cold, window has been broke in pool area for over A year. I have stayed here before and left due to it being run down. Tried staying again because no one has pools open due to covid and still not any improvements.
Disgusted with our stay & the staff!!1. They walked in with out knocking or announcing themselves early in the morning, hours before check out. My girlfriend was standing naked in the room getting dressed feeling now completely violated.2. When immediately approaching housekeeping on the matter. They blew it off as it was no big deal. That our room was on the vacant list. Not once did we here them as they entered any other rooms knock or announce them selves even after our room. Leading me to wander, Why? Is our stuff even safe? If we were down getting breakfast, or whatever!3. When getting coffee, the lady next to me was trying to get hot water out of the carafe. It was empty so she told the housekeeper. The housekeeper was sitting in the cafeteria area with her daughter. She stood up walked over to the thermoes and told the lady that it wasnt empty, it just makes that noise. Still no hot water came out. The housekeeper, then walked back over and sat back down with her young daughter. ( Shes on the clock!)4. When checking out with the frontdesk and telling them of the incident. Was again made to feel as though. It wasnt a big deal cause our room was on the list! The vacant list....Im Disgusted by the quality & professionalism that should be expected & produced by The Fairfield Inn & the Marriott!!Last i checked as a paying customer, I shouldnt have had the staff all treat this like it was no big deal! Or my fault!
Not all properties are maintained like this with exceptionally good staff. As a long time Rewards member since 1999 and now a platinum one I have experienced some less desirable but of course I believe most Marriott chains are compelled to a standard of higher degree than most. Ones that are exceptional are sure to have good management as this one must have.

2022-03-27This one is definitely a no return location for me. Bathroom was dirty, carpet was dirty, curtains in the room were torn. Went to breakfast 20 minutes before it ended and there was almost no food left and what was left was in bad condition. Was told that was it and nothing more was coming out. I cant believe that Marriott allows their name to be on this hotel.

2022-02-19I called and reserved two rooms for a birthday party. They told me the reservations were in the computer and that the pool was open. When we arrived they had no clean rooms we had to wait and then when we went to do our reservations they didnt have the joining rooms like we asked for. They didnt even have rooms next to each other. They also didnt have their pool open they had it closed even though I was told that it was open. Why even have reservations available if they do not honor it I will never go back to this hotel and the lady up front that I was dealing with was extremely rude

2022-03-20First room we got had not been cleaned at all: dirty towels, messy bed sheets, garbage. Second room we got was okay, bed wise. Bathroom was dirty with a moldy shower current. We mostly stayed here for the pool and hot tub. Hot tub had nasty water, half filed and very cold. Pool was slightly warmer but hard to warm up too.Customer service was decent. Breakfast was warm, lots of options but overall wasn’t great food. No hot water, only decaf coffee, or plates. We ate around 8:30.Overall disappointed with the stay.

2022-04-29Positive: Location convenience Negative: The room was disgusting. It had not been cleaned. There was defrosted frozen foods, ranch dressing on the counter & in the refrigerator. The microwave was clearly filthy. The carpet was wet. There was black mold on the ceilings. Dirty shower, no tissue

2022-04-25Could use a good scrubbing. Felt safe, and the staff was friendly. Few extra coffe cups needed and extra tissue box. Room clean, common area could use attention.

2022-06-24Worst hotel I have seen in years. The hotel is dirty: bathroom, carpet, etc. Mattresses are overdue as well. Certainly not at the usual Marriott standard.

2022-01-20Some have said this hotel is located in the red light district of Toledo. Thats news to me. Sandwiched in between a MEJERS, 2 warehouses and a speedway track. My company uses this to house drivers during orientation. I stay here sometimes for a little getaway while resetting hrs.Great place!

2021-10-26Positive: Very nice area & outside was very clean. Negative: The inside was very dirty- hallways looked like they haven¿t been swept in weeks. A vacuum sat outside of one bedroom the entire day, night and into the next morning. The breakfast bar wasn¿t very much to it or a variety. It had a odor in the entire
