Nice hotel, stayed here for four nights while ok breakfast and had absolutely no complaints I could think of. Everything was clean, the amenities worked well, and the staff was polite. If youre used to room service in some capacity or housekeeping they are doing it on a request basis currently due to staffing. Id still recommend it as a comfortable option in the area, especially for a brief stay.
We stayed here for one night. The room was clean. Spotless. We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. She also provided us with utensils for the food that we got from a nearby middle eastern restaurant. Parking was easy and abundant. Breakfast was cold, for the pandemic situation. We will be back.
The property is nice for the area, well kept, friendly Staff. Our only slight inconvenience were the 2 rooms we booked were not ready due to an unexpected shortage in Staff. Also, the Staff told us one room was available shortly after, but they had just done some wet-vacuum carpet shampoo in the entrance to the room. The Staff did say it was damp, but basically it was slightly more than damp and remained that way overnight. Not a major issue for us since we were away except for the late evening and had an early departure. The room was clean otherwise, and beds comfortable. Just to note weve had other minor travel inconveniences due to shortages in Staff, so this wasnt a deal breaker for us. And, the price was absolutely great with my retired military discount.
My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding. The Fairfield’s are not our normal Marriott hotel choice (we always stay at Marriott hotels just one of the others), but this particular hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the one bedroom king suite room and were pleasantly surprised at the space and amenities it offered. The room was clean, updated, spacious, and just what we needed. The bathroom was updated and had a larger, nice shower. I loved the wardrobe type closet in the rooms as well. Not only was the room great, but the hotel staff was excellent. We checked in later at night and learned of the staffing issues the hotel was having based on the signs around and the front desk mentioning the changes to breakfast. Despite the staffing issues, the staff still went above and beyond. We needed a few things from the front desk (towels, shampoo) and she brought them to us with no issues despite her having to do front desk and other jobs. Breakfast was changed due to food and labor shortages, but the staff handled it wonderfully. Despite the food and labor shortages, the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel and their staff!
The Fairfield is located right off the highway, making it easily accessible. Great location for visiting students at University of Akron or Cuyahoga Falls. We have stayed at this location over the last 4 years. The rooms are quiet and clean but most importantly the people are GREAT. The workout room has good equipment. The covid breakfast option is quick and easy with some fruit, bread, packaged breakfast sandwiches, etc. There isnt a wide restaurant selection near the hotel, but many options not more than 15 min away.
I have a family member in the Akron area & stay at hotels while visiting there. I chose Fairfield Inn based on its location near where my family lives, proximity to Rt 8 & the good Internet reviews. It appeared the hotel was new but after checking in, there were signs of age & wear...banged up furniture, worn carpeting, outdated bathroom features. I thought the daily cost of a room a bit too high for the aging esthetics. I never cared for hotel breakfast buffets but with COVID essentially ending buffets as we know them, the breakfast offered was not edible in my opinion. There was fresh fruit & yogurt but Im on a restricted diet & wouldnt eat those items. Id rather have had a price reduction than a free buffet. The 24/7 coffee & hot water station was always cold to room temp as the day wore on but with a microwave in the room, you could warm it up. Appreciated the room refrigerator, microwave & ironing board. There is no daily housekeeping services during COVID but you can request them. I did not. I brought my open antiseptic wipes for cleaning frequently touched items. There was dust on all the table lamps which implied they had not been thoroughly cleaned, unfortunate as the buttons to turn on those lamps were located on the bases of the lamps. The bathrooms were just OK, large showers with glass doors but poor water pressure. There were 2 spots of mold/mildew in the shower stall. Very poor lighting in all rooms even with all the lights on. Heating & cooling easy to adjust but noisy. Good TV program reception.
Hotel was clean and staff was helpful. Some reviews mention mustiness, room was a bit humid but i keep my room very cold. My only complaint is one not limited to this location, regarding breakfast. Staff does not wear masks and none required of guests, same for distancing, but most all breakfast items still eliminated. Not sure what cutting out belgian waffles have to do with covid safety. Or oatmeal. Or milk. Same # of people set out the muffins as needed to heat the pre-made bacon. Room rate is the same, though. Its about time to stop pretending reduced breakfast is anything more than to increase profit. But i would return here because it was clean and i liked the staff very much.
The Staff was friendly and welcoming . I had to get their names . Essence , Emma and Shaylee . They were a lot of fun . The Hotel was spotless and had a lot of eating places around or less than a 1/4 mile from the Hotel . I liked it so much that I already planned for my crew to stay there when we return to Stow for a week in November !!! Couldnt find anything at all to complain about . And Im very hard to please lol . Just an overall great stay !!!
This property is fantastic. However, my debit card has a hold for double the total amount of my stay and I have been charged for one night of stay as well. Spent two hours yesterday trying to get it fixed and so far nothing has been resolved. I was told its a system error and that things went crazy after a credit card system update this week, yet nobody at Marriot seems to care enough to straighten it out. Extremely frustrating, never seen anything like it in all my traveling years.
Had tickets for Blossom concert and didnt want to drive an hour home. Booked a month in advance. Friendly staff, clean, quiet. Panninis is right next door, went for dinner before concert and wings after. 10 minute drive to Blossom from hotel. It was a perfect stay. Highly recommend.
1- my sister had booking at the same hotel through third party but there was error in her booking thats the booking date was made two days earlier and when we asked the customer service to help us, they couldn’t help and they insisted to charge my sister though she didn’t receive any service!2- the bathroom floor was not so clean.3- the toilet flush lost the water at 2:00 am and we got it back later on after about hour!4- the room size was too small for two queen beds!5- the hotel website mentioned that the hotel has two pools inside and outside, but there was only one small inside pool!
With the exception of a few minor things such as the refrigerator not being plugged in and the deadbolt not working, it was a nice stay. Everything was clean. The beds were comfy. With COVID, breakfast is different but it actually was very good. They had everything individually packed.
We stayed at three Fairfield hotels in three states this weekend and this hotel was the best for us. They accommodated our need for feather free pillows which one hotel could not. They had breakfast with protein options since we are not able to eat carbs currently. The rooms were updated and up to brand standards. The rooms have thermostats on the wall which controlled the temperature much better than the other hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Super clean and comfortable, and decent continental breakfast. My only super minor complaint is that in our room the water pressure wasn’t great because of the shower head; there was no setting between light rain and narrow stream beating on your skull with no good way to balance it in the middle.
Very nice. Property is either new or recently updated. Great breakfast options. Breakfast room is huge. It never felt cramped or hectic. We were upgraded to a 2-room king suite with a separate area with a desk, couch and 2nd HDTV. Mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Great value. New policy (COVID related???) - daily housekeeping is by request only. That was not a problem, just different from the past.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate considering we received bagged breakfasts at other hotels during Covid. No hot food, but cereal, breads, bagels, fruit, English muffins, and coffee, tea, etc.
Nice rooms with semi-smart tvs (Netflix, Pandora, Crackle), comfy beds and non scratchy sheets plus plenty of super soft pillows, nice extras too; free breakfast, use of the pool & exercise room with bikes and treadmills and if you go down to the lobby free coffee 24/7 and you have free coffee in the room too. Walking distance to many good places to eat and across the street from a gas station. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean as well. Id stay here again.
I had been driving from Elgin, Iil and felt I was too tired to drive any further, so I pulled into a rest stop and looked what was available in my AAAbook. My wife told me Akron was about 22 miles away. I did not like the breakfast at the Marriott Courtyard , so I decided to try the Fairfield Inn and use some of Marriott points. I put the address in my Navigator and got back on the road. When I got there I was advised that it was a company Policy that I could not use my points without a reservation. The young lady on the desk advised me that there were openings and suggested I call and make a reservation. I knew I did not feel like driving to the Holiday Inn , so I called and was told their would be a wait to talk to an Agent. I had to sit in the lobby waisting 10 minutes to speak to an agent that did not want to hear me complain about the company policy about Reservations and sitting in the lobby to talk to her. After getting thru that problem I made the reservation With Ms. Schmidt and got a room for my wife and myself. The room and the breakfast were fine. My only complaint was the Agent and the Marriott policy about checking in.
Our stay last Friday night, prompted by little more than a wish to get out of our home-bound Covid protocol. Was meant to be uneventful. I chose this place based exclusively on the deal I was able to get and the positive reviews of this place-as compared to other area hotels. We made a good decision, as our stay was marked by little trouble and a nice nights rest. Thanks for having us. Hope to come back soon!!
Vehicle traffic way too loud and it prevented sleep. We dont like the idea that we were placed in this room when it seems that many other, likely quieter rooms, seemed to be vacant. No other options were offered when we booked the hotel, so thats the problem we had with the service.
Professionalism was not in place the cleanliness was poor and the service was horrible. Stayed there with a few of our wedding party guest they had us all over and on my wedding night our friends did our room up and light all kinds of candles only to get a smoking charge after check out! They didn’t not enforce mask on guest in common area’s as well. Never anyone at front desk. Very disappointing being Thai was my wedding weekend and when I emailed to make a block reservation I didn’t even get a reply we all had to book separately.
This property needs more attention to details (ensure lights in room are working, check that hairdryer is available) and staff need to pay attention to guest profile preferences. In a time when there are few guests and many hotel rooms available, this is not an acceptable level of service.
This place is beautiful and extremely clean. It smells fresh as you walk through the doors. Our room was super nice and very clean. The employees at the front desk were very attentive, nice and helpful. Emma, the lady that did the complimentary breakfast was so helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to help me with using the waffle machine to finding me places of interest and restaurants on the internet. I so appreciate the hospitality this hotel crew showed us during our stay. And, the breakfast was so delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I know when I am in this area again I will definitely be staying here again.
This is a superb hotel. I stayed overnight as a stopover on a 2 day road trip. Amber st the front desk was super friendly and got me checked in expeditiously. The bathroom, bed, and living area were all well maintained, very modern, and very clean. Shower was one of the nicest Ive ever seen. The fitness center had the basics plus free weights and 2 yoga mats. It was extraordinarily clean. The pool hours were very extended (6AM to 11PM) and was the perfectly maintained. Complimentary breakfast had lots of good options on the healthier side, and the dining area was very spacious and again... super well maintained. I think this was one of the best hotel stays Ive ever had, even if it was only one night.
Everything about this hotel is terrific and Ive been there multiple times. Its a great location; clean; comfortable; attentive front desk staff; facility cleanliness; bed comfort; super quiet; easy to print flight boarding passes; good breakfast; nice eating area; pool (a bit small but its great nevertheless); workout area; across the street from the Nervous Dog coffee shop, which is terrific. Italian & Mexican restaurants are within 500 feet of the hotel, too, as is a convenient & clean gas station. Blossom Music Amphitheatre and parks all nearby. No need to look for another hotel -- its my new go-to place and should be yours, too. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. The hotel is bright, colorful, contemporary and clean. Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. Amenities are great. The room decor is bright but warm and cozy, clean with a spa-like atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling. The room stay was worth twice of what I paid. I wanted to stay an extra night, however they couldnt give me the same rate I paid for the first night. The second night rate was still a great price, it was just out of my budget. I was in town for a ministry event. When i visit to attend the ministry event again, I wii definitely try to book a whole weekend so I can just chill out in my room and work out in the fitness room.
After reading several other guest reviews I decided to change my stay to the Fairfield Inn & Suites Akron Stow from another Marriott property. I was traveling for business and had to be here for a week. I’m so happy I did. I really enjoyed my stay here. My room and the bathroom was so clean! The room had a wonderful smell. I felt so comfortable and safe during my whole stay. The staff was also very professional and friendly with amazing housekeeping.
The room was pretty clean but house keeping should make sure there is no stains on things like bedding, curtains etc.. an hairs on floor or dead bugs in window seal or cob webs . the room is basically in my opinion for a quick stay we had 2 queen beds , 1 tv, desk w chair , sm coat closet, small fridge no freezer ,small microwave, no whole kitchen, no couch . the plus was the pool was open pretty warm inside but up 2 10 guest at a time the area is not that big pool is 4ft . the exercise room was open no more than 3 people variety of machines. still grab an go breakfast.. i like they dont do pets so it was pretty quiet but i cant tell if the walls are thin dont think alot of people were in the hotel at the time . halls were pretty clean the front desk was friendly also saw her wiping down the elevator buttons.
This is a newer hotel and contains the latest Marriott decor, modern and very efficient. The staff were all very pleasant and the guest room was functional and clean. The hotel was sold out the night I stayed, but it was still very quiet and I got a restful nights sleep. Internet speed was great, and even the breakfast was done well. The hotel is located near the interstate, and getting to and from the various conveniences (eating, shopping, music venue, etc.) was very easy. If in the area again, I will definitely stay at this property.
Our room was newly renovated and spotless. The breakfast was pleasant, appealing, and the room was clean. The entire hotel staff was pleasant. The town, Cuyahoga Falls, was near the hotel and was lovely to spend the evening there. We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. On the whole, one of the nicest Marriott properties we have ever stayed at.
Room was very clean and the hotel itself was updated and seemed fairly new. Breakfast was decent but nothing special, similar to other chains that offer free breakfast. Overall we had a very nice stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. Was nice to sit out on the back patio and just relax after a day of hiking in the nearby Cuyahoga Park. This Fairfield was definitely above my expectations for this particular Marriott offering.
We were in Stowe for our nieces wedding. We stayed for 2 nites 3 days and were VERY pleased with this hotel. Beautiful lobby decorated in brightly colored mid century modern decor, friendly staff, clean comfy room, very nice breakfast buffet, reasonable rates, nice amenities. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel stay. We would definitely stay again! Thank you to all of their great staff!!
The first time we stayed at this Marriott in Stow, we had an upgraded room and it was summer. The HVAC worked well and the hotel seemed OK. The second time we stayed it was winter, the room was a lesser quality and the HVAC was loud and performed poorly. The water was a bit too cool as well so the shower was just above adequate, not great. There were fresh strawberries one morning for breakfast, and they were excellent! Overall the breakfast isnt great though, because the egg products are kept warm and get soggy, probably powdered. They hotel uses paper products for plates and bowls which we really appreciate. The less plastic the better. We think breakfast would be better if the hotel provided a menu on checkin and then there would be less waste and the food could be made to order.
Check in was quick and friendly. The lobby had 24 hour coffee that was always fresh. We swam in the clean, warm indoor pool. The room was the cleanest Ive seen and the bed was super comfy. The shower was so nice, I didnt ever want to get out. Overall, a very nice, clean hotel. Excellent value
I typically stay at choice hotels, but after our recent stay with this marriott location, I find myself looking for other marriotts while planning up coming trips. The hotel looked very appealing from the outside and even nicer once in the lobby. Our rooms was nice, clean and the shower was amazing. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was good and offered a nice variety. If we are in the area again this will be my first choice.
The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly at check in and check out. Overall the entire building seemed very recently updated. The room furniture was top notch and the bathroom was great. I noticed how quick and nice the elevators were. The location was great, very close to plenty of food and not far from Blossom if you are looking for a hotel after a concert. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Extremely clean and polite people there. Bed was comfortable and we love the option of watching our Netflix there. My only two negatives were no trash bags in any part of our room (had to get some from housecleaning) and the breakfast bar wasnt as widely assorted as expected. Lots of healthy options, though. I would definitely stay here again!
Very modern new hotel with great amenities. Local restaurants Very close to this hotel. Nice gym! Modern and comfortable room design. Bed and pillows very comforable, relaxing/peaceful stay! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Really appreciated my late night check-in and them allowing me to stay until early to mid afternoon to get extra rest with my late arrival. Neje (sp?) at front desk was sweet, professional and very helpful in making my stay great. I wish every hotel was this comfortable and had such an at-home feel. I have extensive travel experience Both internationally and nationally many times annually and this location is definitely at the top of the list.
Incredible hotel!! Definitely a newer hotel and extremely clean. The shower smelled like cleaning supplies when I first showered, which is always comforting in a hotel. The fitness room is incredible- complimentary headphones, a bike, an elliptical, two treadmills, weights, and a little yoga area. Free breakfast in the morning, which was great. Also infused water offered all day and tea and coffee. The WiFi is really fast too.
This facility meets all of the high quality standards that the brand implies and that customers expect. Everything was perfect and we would absolutely recommend it when in the area. Staff skill, professionalism and pride in customer service was unbelievable. Friendly, accommodating and well groomed. Breakfast area and food quality amazing. Decor stylish and contemporary without pretentiousness. Conveniently located to highway access and Blossom Music Centre. A must stay.
Im a lifetime titanium elite member and usually stay at JW Marriottt, Marriott, or Renaissance properties but thats not an option in this area. I was very happy with my stay at this Fairfield Inn. Property is newer and very clean. Good breakfast. Fresh rooms. Very pleasant staff. Plenty of parking. Several good restaurants nearby. Quiet surroundings. I will definitely stay here again when Im in the area.
This is a great hotel. It is incredibly comfortable. The rooms are very well appointed and perfect for a work trip or for families on a holiday. The staff at the hotel are some of the best you will every encounter. They make your stay even better. They have the X factor that so many hotels look for but never have! Thank you for a great stay.
We were in the Akron stow area for the Kent Potter Fest and then spent Sunday at Lake Erie. I choose this hotel for its location. I am also a big fan of the Fairfield Inn and Suites brand. The service at the hotel was amazing. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. We chatted with them on several occasions and they were helpful and personable. I always ask for extra towels and pillows on my reservation but this is the first time they were actually in my room upon arrival. I appreciate that they pay attention to guest request and actually fulfill them. The location was very convenient as it is right off the interstate. There are many nice restaurants and attractions within a 10-20 minute drive. There were also several places within walking distance. I would definitely stay at this property again.
Once again we found the Fairfield Inn at Stow Ohio to be a most pleasant stay. The Staff, Services and amenities are excellent. My wife continues to rave about the bathrooms and how wonderful the design and appointments are. Breakfasts are good but I would suggest a bit more rotation of the daily menu to mix it up for patrons with longer stays. Overall, you will find this hotel a Great Value for the money.
I LOVE this hotel. The staff are so friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be!The hotel is very well appointed and comfortable. The rooms are kept in great shape and housekeeping does an amazing job!Thank you for everything and making my stay great!
I had a brief stay for one night on a Sunday. The property is new so it looks very modern and clean. The room with two queen beds was very clean and comfortable. An added bonus was zero noise. I rarely stay at a hotel where there isnt some noise from another room or the air conditioner makes some weird noise or there is noise outside. So I got a good nights sleep. The breakfast was typical of most hot breakfasts at a hotel. Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal. yogurt, milk, cereal, fruit, and some pastries. Its not going to blow your mind but it was satisfying. Despite the quality, prices were below average which was a surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very clean and clutter free! Im not much on hotel art and Fairfield is great! The bathroom is well maintained, you cant find any dust in the corners, which is somewhat normal for a hotel. The staff was more than attentive to my grandsons needs. Hes 10 months and they offered a pack n play just seeing him! Thank you for the wonderful service thus far!!!
The people at the front desk were so nice and accommodating. I made a mistake and made the wrong reservation but they completely understood and switched the initial date with the night I actually came. They made it so easy and were so nice about it. Also the room was so nice and clean. One of the best hotels that Ive been to in while.
From when we first turned into the parking lot and until we left, our stay was flawless and enjoyable. Our room was sparkling clean, nicely prepared, and in new condition. The staff was delightful, the internet was great, and breakfast had a great variety and was prepared well.Overall, Fairfield Inn is a great value and my go-to brand for most of our family travel.
My teenage son and I stayed here for a weekend tournament in Akron. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.Good variety at breakfast from cold a la carte items to warm eggs and sausage. The location was great - allowing a 15-minute drive right down the highway to the University of Akron from the tournament.I will say that had we brought our whole family, the pool would not have been big enough for the kids to play in, but that did not affect my stay this time.
We booked this hotel to be near the Cuyahoga National Park. It was close to the park activities and conveniently located by the expressway. Room was very quiet, spacious and clean. We had a king bed room and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and very satisfying - to give us a great start on our hiking adventures in the park! We found staff to be very pleasant at all times.
Great stay. Service was amazing. Requested extra items via the app before arriving and they were already in room when we arrived. Rooms were extremely clean and welcoming. Only thing that got to me was that you could hear heavy walkers above you and teens goofing around next door. Got close to asking the teens next door to quiet down or it was going to be a long night with a 2 yr old but figured it was Christmas break and they were traveling to see family and were excited so I let it go. Next time Ill just request a top floor and not right up against a room with teens. Bottom of door into room also let in a high amount of light but nothing that cant be stopped without a towel on the floor. Im a bit on the sensitive side when it comes to sleeping with noise or excess light. Pool was a good size. Little on the cold side but still able to get in for a bit before heading up for a warm shower. There is a pub grill close by to walk to for food or plenty within driving distance. We ended up having dominos delivered right to our room for convenience and timing. Included breakfast was a great spread and had a surprisingly variety of foods to eat. Would return.
This will for sure be our overnight stay between Michigan and Virginia every time we travel. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. They helped with everything we needed. Breakfast was good but make sure you go early because they dont replace items as they run out close to 9am. The rooms were wonderful, the beds were very comfortable and the walk in shower was fabulous and clean.
Nice clean modern hotel. Staff was nice and helpful, breakfast was good with many options and points for using compostable paper products. Pool was small (ranges 3 to 4 ft deep) but great for little kids. Restaurants close/walking distance. Could login to Netflix, etc on room TV.
Very nice place to stay with food options within walking distance. The continental breakfast had really good choices and the seating area was very nice. They had plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful. It made a nice place to stay away from home and its a very popular hotel with business travelers, so it is a busy place during the week.
Having always been a fan of the full service properties in my 40+ years as an extremely loyal MARRIOTT REWARDS member, I came across this FF Inn & Suites about 4-5 yrs ago, and it has blown away the majority of ‘full service’ properties that I have ever stayed at. The Front Desk Staff in particular is...World Class! Two SHINING STARS...‘Erin’ & ‘Brianna,’ greet you & are exceptional at what they do, making guests feel right at home! The property itself is extremely well appointed, and the guest rooms have ALWAYS been ‘clean as a whistle!’ Would DEFINTELY recommend this hotel when in the Akron area.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is convenient. Great little coffee shop behind hotel and free coffee 24hrs in lobby and delicious lemon water available 24hrs. decent complimetary breakfast and great fitness center on site. highly recommended. I would stay here again.
When I go visit my sisters in Ohio this is where Ive been staying the last few months I feel safe I feel secure I used to be one of the people that wouldnt stay overnight anywhere I walk in I lay my stuff down I take my shower and Slytherin to bed after a wonderful day of visiting with my family without a fear of my security, and to find out that the young lady that checked us in this previous time is for Michigan! She had a U of M flag flying high in her office!Go 💙
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel was nice, the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was good. The area has several restaurants in the area as well. The pool is a little small but it worked out well for my 7 year old. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
We stayed here for a wedding. Hotel is new and immaculate. Staff accommodated all the various needs of the many wedding guests staying, including assisting the eldest guest with the elevator several times. The common area was perfect for our group to gather in the mornings and evenings and the staff always made us feel like we were most welcome guests at their home. I have not stayed at many Fairfield properties, but I will in the future!
This is a Great place to stay. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. When we first walked in this place it was very clean and modern. It even smelled great. The room was very warm and comfortable. The bed and shower were awesome. We come to this area often and by far the best place to stay.
Absolutely the best hotel ever! Sparkling clean, immaculate, brand new, and gorgeous! The staff went above and beyond. We were in town for a 17U travel baseball tournament. We got to the hotel around 11:30 or midnight and found out the team was actually staying across town about 25 minutes away. So the night girl told us to go to bed and get a good night sleep and she would work on it. When we got up the next morning and Went down for breakfast, she had left a note for us with the day girl. She had taken care of everything for us, and had reservations for us for the next 2 nights at the Fairfield Inn where the team was staying! Awesome! ! I wish we could have stayed at this one, though, because it was such a wonderful hotel. Thanks.
We stayed there about 3 weeks after they opened. Everything ran beautifully. There were no kinks to work out. The staff were all well trained, friendly and polite. The breakfast was usual serve yourself food, but things were clean and kept up. While I did not use it, there seemed to be a very good fitness center for a non full service hotel. I would strongly recommend this Fairfield and will stay there again when I am in the area.
Nice, clean, non-smoking hotel. The room got too hot during the night, but was otherwise comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was so-so. I was bothered by the fact that there were compostable dishes and silverware, but nowhere to compost them (and thus they ended up in the trash along with everything else). I reported this to hotel staff, who told me theyd discuss it with the manager; whether they did or not I dont know. Im not crazy about businesses that use the environmentally friendly label as a marketing tool but dont actually care enough to put their money where their mouth is.
I loved The Fairfield inn Marriott in Stow hotel was beautiful clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the shower was so amazing and a good location. The breakfast was delicious and a great variety of foods. My husband and I stayed for our four year wedding anniversary and we couldnt have picked a better hotel. We will definitely be staying here again.
I only stay at Courtyard and Fairfield hotels. Theyre are updated and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. Never have a problem at any of these brands. The Stow location was perfect for Kent Stage, Blossom and much more the area has to offer. Close to all kinds of dining. Staff was great.
We rented two appointed rooms for a wedding. The hotel is highly modern and there is no signs of age to any of the amenities. The breakfast was excellent (particularly the turkey sausage) and the staff was very friendly. At the last minute we needed a reception hall and renting the meeting room on site at literally the last minute did just the trick/saved the day. I would definitely stay there any time I was in the area. Typically I hit up a Hilton affiliate but Fairfield apparently offers similar breakfasts, free internet etc.
This hotel always exceeds my expectations when staying here. The property is always clean and maintained to the fullest, even in the midst of a severe snowfall. Easy off easy on of both Rt. 8 North and South. Will stay here again when opportunity presents itself. Thanks to the management team and their staff for keeping such a great property!
My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel. I am not often overly impressed with hotels............until I stayed here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Akron Stow. Such a beautiful, new facility with the latest in design and furnishings, with plenty of amenities and an excellent staff. The rooms are a comfortable size, beautifully appointed with modern, well-built furnishings, comfortable bed and numerous power outlets and USB charging ports for all your electronic devices. They serve a more than adequate breakfast and also have a mini-store which sells everything from personal travel items to food and beverage. We hope to return tot the Fairfield Inn Akron Stow in the future. We had a fantastic experience here.
Convenient location for heading north or south on Route 8 or the turnpike. Hotel is clean both in public areas and the room. AC worked well, beds and pillows were comfortable. We were on the side facing Route 8 and traffic noise could be loud at times. Excellent selection of food for the complimentary breakfast. Staff is friendly. We would stay here again.
We stayed in Akron on our way home from vacation. The hotel was in a convention location for our travels. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I was given an umbrella to use to stay dry while moving my car. The workout room is larger and the equipment was easy to use. We would recommend the hotel to our friends and family.
This hotel was perfectly located for our trip to ride Thomas the Train on the railroad in Pennisula. There is an awesome playground for our young son near by. Very close to restaurants and local attractions. There are many beaches and state parks within a 10-15 minute drive. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is full of amenities including a pool, fitness room, very nice outdoor patio, and lots of seating in the lobby/dining area. One of the few hotels that I didnt feel crowded at breakfast. The bathroom could have been cleaner. But overall stay was awesome, would recommend this hotel!
Highly recommended! Immaculate hotel. Room very clean and fresh. Mattress protected with encasement and comfy! Everything updated and well taken care of. Smart TV so you can easily login to Netflix or Hulu. Breakfast was typical for hotel but well stocked and good coffee with outdoor patio area tables. Front desk staff wonderful!
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff was friendly, personable and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Liked the walk-in shower. Overall a great experience. I would recommend this Fairfield Inn. Very easy access from freeway.
I have a custom wheelchair not motorized. I had great difficulty getting in and out of bathroom due to bad design and layout of room. It was supposed to be handicap accessible with roll in shower. Also had a low toliet seat, not easy to get off. Room was poorly designed.
I’ve stayed at this hotel (Fairfield Inn & Suites, Stow OH) several times. The hotel is immaculate, rooms are clean/comfortable and my experience with the staff has been fantastic. It’s in a great location and I think that it’s the best value in the area for the money. I highly recommend it.
We are very partial to Fairfield Inns mainly because of the coffee all day and the many fine amenities and cleanliness. I would like to see the waste cans lined and that is the only thing I would like to know the reason. I say this every time we stay (and bring out own) -just because we think it is more sanitary for the maids, but presume that it is a company policy and there is a reason for it.We own a resort where we serve guests from around the world and this is a small concession we insist upon so that our cleaning staff can handle peoples waste without touching it.
Very clean and comfy rooms. All the staff members were very welcoming, from the front desk to the housekeeping. Was a little concerned being next to the Municipal Court House but we had no issues at all and felt the area was very safe. There are tons of amenities in the area. An Irish pub, Circle K and McDonalds right accross the street and a coffee shop, Mexican restaurant and pizza shop accross the parking lot. Theres a TGI Fridays, Texas Roadhouse and Applebees on the other side of the freeway and a Walmart a mile away. Definitely recommend!
Overpriced for the accommodations. The hotel lost power and had no generator, the breakfast food selection was poor, as for the wi-fi I was never even notified they had it! Would have been nice to know, but then again with the power being out that probably would not have worked either. No one offered to credit any part of our stay, and the evening desk lady was not very friendly.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott in Stow Ohio was one of the best Hotel experiances that we have ever had. It wasnt just that it was clean, quite and comfortable, it was the staffs attitude. They where helpful and kind. Wow, that really says it all, thank you for making everything so nice.
My stay at this hotel was a pleasant one. The lady who helped me out when I first arrived was very helpful, as well as the overnight lady. The location is a nice one as its easy to access off the main road. With plenty of options nearby for food, drinks, and late night debauchery if you so happen to choose.
Overall a good experience.Pros: Very close to my business location. Plenty of food around, delivery available to the room. The Bad: The side I was on got hit with the sunlight heavy in the evening. Black out curtains were in place, however, light still came in. Made it difficult to sleep. The television sits very low on a desk counter...you cant actually lay in bed and watch TV.The Ugly: Basically the exact same continental breakfast every single day...got very old, very quick.
Given our situation on the home front with no working water or toilets we had to find somewhere to stay for the night. Vicki at the front desk who checked us in went out of her way to do so. She is genuinely a kind caring lady that I had the pleasure of meeting. I highly recommend this hotel to others!
I like this hotel because of the location. I’m not sure what happened during this stay but there was way too much noise above me, the tv didn’t work, and the room was extremely cold. I wasn’t happy, but normally it’s a great experience. I’m willing to give it another try and if this doesn’t work I’m going to start staying at another hotel when I visit.
The location of the hotel is close to many bars and restaurants, the service was great, though the A/C in my room wasnt working the morning of checkout, it was 86° in my room, thats with me setting it at 65°and only being 72° outside. I informed the front desk and they said they would inform maintenance ASAP.
Very nice, new hotel with refreshing bright color scheme. I would avoid this place in the winter though. If you leave the heater fan on auto, it will eventually turn the fan to high and start blowing 60 degree air out of it. I had to set my thermostat at 80 and put the fan on low manually to make it bearable. If you have the fan on auto, the temperature of half the room closest to the window will vary extremely between hot and cold. Im sure this isnt a problem in the summer but its 18 degrees out right now and I just want to be comfortable. The front desk told me that it only feels cold haha. They even have a sign. Gonna be a long three nights.
The Fairfield Inn is conveniently located off the highway with ample parking. Built in the last two years, this Fairfield Inn still looks hardly used and very clean. The Fairfield Inn Akron-Stows amenities leave little to be desired l,ecxept a bigger pool would be nice. All-in-all I highly recommend this hotel.
The location of this hotel makes it easy to access shopping areas such as: Aurora Falls Outlets, Mall/stores at Fairlawn Walmart, Restaurants, as well as the University of Akron. This is a brand new hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the internet service is awesome . It allows you to connect to your movie services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Nice modern style décor, with a very friendly/professional staff.

2022-06-20Positive: Beautiful property with over sized rooms at a fair price. The staff was super helpful, including going out of their way to get us storage bags for ice for our coolers. Breakfast was fine..what u would expect from this type of property. Negative: Nothing. All good.

2022-05-03Great hotel. Clean, quiet. Good breakfast choices & the woman working was helpful. My kids were very excited to swim in the pool. It was small, but we were there only ones there both times we went.

2022-03-22The room was nice I booked a king suite . The pool is only allowed 10 people at a time even if your not swimming which is no problem I’m guessing due to Covid. Its a very small pool anyways. But they don’t have an exceeding time limit so while me and a couple family members stayed there we were told to sign in, in order to gain access to the pool but had to wait 3 hours just to be able to go in because again there’s no time limit for the guest to leave the pool which is not particularly fair or even realistic with a packed hotel. We didn’t get to the pool until like 9pm they close at 11 and we had 4-10 year old kids so it was annoying having to swim with them that late. When we got back to our room of course we were eating and getting the children ready for bed The front desk called me twice around 10:30 asking could I keep my kids quiet due to it being other guest which was not realistic since we had gotten in so late.Around about 11:30 when my kids were sleeping I got another call stating that There were more complaints about my room when i asked what noise could she be referring to she was talking about me walking i guess the person under me said they could hear me walking. At this point I was furious and honestly considered getting my money back and going home. But my 4 and 6 year old were sleep so we exchanged words and I made sure to leave a review about our horrible stay it’s a very nice hotel but not if you want to relax and go swimming or have small children it’s mainly for business or Older couples I definitely wouldn’t stay again.

2022-04-26Nice, clean, double queen room. Not great water pressure in the shower, but not too bad either. Old lobby. We stayed here to visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park in the morning, breaking up our Chicago-NJ trip.

2022-02-20Solid experience after a day of Ohio on Tap craft beer excursion.Pool a bit small, more of a soaker. Towels a bit small so we used more than one each. But relaxing nevertheless.High marks for the 24/7 fitness center. And a decent free breakfast.Good value for the leisure traveler.

2022-06-23The lady at the desk told me its a $40 fee to check in before 11am. Im a gold member and out of all the Fairfield inns Ive been to, I was always able to check in early with no fee. Never heard of anything like this before. Thats the perk of being a gold member where i can check in early. Now I know not to come here anymore.

2021-10-15My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding.

2021-10-01Hotel - Great.Staff-PhenomenalRoom - OutstandingFood - Its DIY and was rush set out due to a 4am wake up. So, the staff set it out 3 hours early for myself and 2 others. Only Experienced breakfast. Theres a few restaurants within walking distance for lunch and dinner.Cleanliness - AmazingOnly thing I did not enjoy was lack of dark curtain. This is important because I stayed on the first floor and theres a few parking lights immediately outside my window I, so my room was a lot brighter than Id have liked.
