Fair Electric always does great work. I have always been happy with their professionalism. Every single person from Fair I have ever interacted with, from the owner to the scheduler, to all the electricians, has been friendly, helpful and a joy to deal with. I wouldnt choose anyone else to handle electrical for my family. These folks are the best.

Our office A/C was out during a stretch of 90- degree days. Although they were busy, they were able to fit us in quickly and repair the issue at the breaker box. I have used Fair Electric several times, including at my home, and the electricians are professional and knowledgeable.

We hired Fair Electric for the entire outdoor electrical for our campground and cabin resort. They installed 7 panels each of 400A and powered over 130 sites. Dan Fair and his team was professional, did work for our satisfaction. I highly recommend.

I had an above ground pool installed and needed an outlet put in for the pump. Dan and Teresa have been so helpful. Dan came out on time and told me what needed to be done and what work I could do in preparation. I would recommend them 100 percent.

I called with short notice to get an estimate on a panel replacement and Dan made it out the same day, which was great since I was only in town a few days. Price was fair and Dan took the time to answer all of my questions as well as thoroughly explain the work that will be done.

Owner came to give estimate, nice guy. One of the things we needed was a 2-story foyer chandelier placed. Estimate showed a charge for chandelier install, charge for height over 8ft, and a scaffolding charge. We didnt understand why they couldnt just use a 2 person ladder, and didnt really think the scaffolding was necessary but trusted their expertise. Still more expensive for the install than the light alone. Eeek. But moved forward with the work. Different people show up to do the work. Immediately upon entering my house, they say dont need scaffolding. OK fine. They install new chandelier pretty quickly. Get my bill and they still charged for the scaffolding. I called and was told they had to rent it and thus I am still charged. While, I do understand to some extent, I felt that shouldve been told upfront. Had we known, we wouldve said just use a 2 person ladder. We had the same exact chandelier placed in a previous house with almost exact entryway. Didnt need scaffolding. I feel the owner shouldve been able to determine scaffolding wasnt needed as quickly as the install people... is this a money making ploy? I dont know. Take a few measurements and you can determine if your ladder will fit in the space, right? Isnt that the point of the $85 service call charge included in my $2030 bill? Ultimately they gave me a $40 off the $125 scaffolding charge. Then I go to pay the remaining balance (they require a deposit upfront) and I realized my balance was higher than it should be. Somehow they added an additional ceiling fan to the outstanding balance total (charged me for 3 ceiling fans instead of 2, but the charge for the fans was less than what it shouldve been for 3). It was $80 over the remaining balance. I called and spoke with the not so pleasant face of their company- and she said well let me look at it and then says well all we can do is give you a check. I said ok fine. Then says, well Im not saying youre getting any money back, it has to be looked over first. I said ok, well its simple math. Here is my estimate, I paid a deposit of X and the balance should be X. I never got a sorry, I apologize for the oversight, nothing. Get an email from the owner saying I will be receiving a check. Again, not even a simple sorry about that. Clearly someone went into the spread sheet and made 2 changes- increased the total number of fans AND the cost of the fans. A little bit of upfront honestly and customer service goes a long way. I get, mistakes happen, but take ownership. The work itself was fine. Not perfect (wiring not secured as tightly as some electricians would secure along your basement ceiling rafters), but its fine. Moral of the story- ask questions and look over your bills closely.

The crew is polite and they always arrive on time. They maintain a clean environment and pick up after themselves. They answer questions. The work is always very well done and completed. They are kind and polite. They have provided useful and creative solutions to challenging problems. The prices are reasonable. The communication with the office is always polite, helpful, and friendly.

We lost half of electric service to the house. After several calls to electricians who did not have availability, I called Fair Electric. Within 3 hours Dan Fair was out to survey the problem and provided an estimate. His crew was here 2 hours later. They quickly found the underground fault, dug to the broken wire and repaired it with a splice. I was back in business in less than one and a half hours later. The knowledge, professionalism and quick resolution were greatly appreciated. I would recommend Fair Electric as a great company to do business with!
