The estates at New Albany are a wonderful place to live with great diversity of people , caring neighbors and staff. One staff member, Dakota is exceptional, professional and friendly. He is very helpful, listens attentively and promptly assists with maintenance concerns or other issues as they arise. Dakota is so knowledgeable he puts you at ease and gives you real confidence you have made a great choice living here. Dakota always calls you by name and is a huge asset to our community here at the estates at New Albany. The maintenance staff and manager are very professional and friendly. We enjoy living here!
I just recently moved into the Estates and worked with Katelyn and Devin in the leasing office. The application process was super easy and moving in was nothing short of a breeze. I love how close the community is to everything, especially being new to the area. It makes navigating much easier. I truly look forward to being here the next year. I would recommend the community and the staff to anyone.
I cant wait for my family and I to move into our new apartment. Dakota has been nothing short of phenomenal getting us a gorgeous townhouse. My daughter cannot wait to start school here because it is the best. The community is gorgeous and well maintained and the area is so convenient. I truly could not have picked a better community to live at. Office staff is professional and fast in response. Super excited!
I love my new apartment, Dakota is always so helpful every time my wife or myself stop into the office. The convenience the community offers is incredible! We are so close to New Albany, tons of shopping and dining and in the New Albany Schools. Our apartment is HUGE! The open concept and the natural light is increíble, this is by far our favorite apartment we have ever lived in. The customer service here is next level! Thank you Dakota for everything!
Finally a forever home! (For the time being). I moved into my new place at Estates about a couple months ago. I’m still pretty new with the area so it was tough to find something that was a good fit for me. After my first tour of the facility, i knew this was the place for me. A huge step up from my last apartment complex and the staff has been super helpful throughout this entire process and they are always right there when i have questions or need help. Katelyn, one of the staff members of Estates, was an absolute Angel and the perfect guide to help me find my home. She made sure i was getting everything i needed out of my new home and even went beyond that by helping me find places that have the stuff i still needed for my new place. She answered every question that i had (which was a lot) and always seemed so happy to help even though i felt like i may have been a bit annoying about it lol. 100/10 would recommend estates at New Albany for your next home. Great staff, great home and great city!
The office staff overall are very eager and happy to help as well as knowledgeable about what to expect when applying for a lease here. They were transparent and realistic in what their costs of leasing the place are and broke down what utilities and other living expenses might be as well. Jessica was very friendly when walking us through our new place. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a place to stop by and apply.
I moved into the Estates at New Albany about a month ago and my time here has been outstanding. Katelyn was the star because walked me through the whole moving in process and was there for me from start to finish. She has still stayed in contact with me asking if there is anything she can do to help make my time here better.Maintenance has been night and day compared to other places I have lived. I put in a request to fix my drain in the bathroom, Rob and Samir came out the next day and fixed it. I am happy I can call this place home. Highly recommend this place to other people.
A beautiful place made even better by excellent staff. The leasing office (and the whole place in general) is kept clean and organized, and combined with the friendly staff it made for a great first impression.Katelyn Rachfal was the employee who showed us around and signed us on to our new home, and none of the other places we were considering could compare to the experience she gave us– her assistance was a key factor in our decision to move to New Albany Estates.A lot of people were looking to move into this place, but Katelyn gave us the time and attention we needed to make a decision despite our last-minute application. She was incredibly welcoming and engaged through the whole process, and even after the tour she immediately responded to our emails and always answered our questions any time of the day.Anyone looking to move here should absolutely ask for Katelyn. You will get a first-class experience– and if the quality of this place hasnt already won you over, she definitely will.
I can’t wait to move into my new apartment home, I picked up keys today and the apartment and community is absolutely gorgeous! Dakota has been the most amazing help with this process! Can’t thank him enough! Super excited to live here for awhile and my kids are super excited for the New Albany schools and we love this area and how convenient it is to everything! Definitely recommend this community and the area!
States at New Albany is a Lovely place to live with great management and friendly staff. They always take care as quickly is possible when there are maintenance issues. John is the current manager and is great to work with him, also Dakota and Margaret are greats doing their Job.
Let’s be real- Whether it’s parking or noisy neighbors or whatever, every community has random issues that we’d like to see fixed. But what the Estates has is friendly attentive, and caring office and maintenance staff. We’ve been here over 8 years and the key is to communicate with them and they’ll do their best to help resolve any issues in a timely manner.
If you’re looking for an apartment, take this as your sign to live somewhere else. Since day 1 this place has been nothing but issues. I have no other reason to write this negative review besides to help others as I am currently still living here, unfortunately. Be prepared to spend $130/month on cable and internet (was $99 when we moved here in January but has since changed). When we moved in our apartment was not wired for Spectrum even though this was the provider we had to use (we were told it was wired prior to moving in). First week living here we had a mouse in the apartment. During the winter our heat went out in the middle of the night on 4 separate occasions. The outlets in our kitchen only work intermittently. To top it off, we have gone the entire summer without AC. Maintenance comes as they please with no warning (even though we ask each time for a call before entering) and leave without notifying us what has been fixed. It’s a constant cycle. I have been in the leasing office multiple times trying to get in contact with the property manager with no response. Read your lease carefully as there is a clause stating that if you pursue legal action you will also have to pay for the complexes legal fees! $75/month for trash. Kids constantly run around without parents and no regard for cars. We have actually seen a child peeing off of the roof that overhangs the porches. So please, look around for other places to live before thinking about moving here. It has been nothing but stressful. And yes, all of this has been brought to the leasing offices attention and no issues have been resolved.EDIT: I have sent multiple emails to the property manager and have been in the leasing office to try and resolve these issues and no one has helped.
I am so excited for my boyfriend and I to move into the Estates at New Albany! The community is so beautiful and I love it here already! The location is so convenient to everywhere in Columbus! Dakota has made our stay here incredible so far and know that he will continue to provide exceptional customer service!
The staff and property are great! Dakota was especially nice to us as we toured and made arrangements for moving. The property and units are exactly as we expected from the website and conversations we’d had with friends who loved their experience prior to purchasing a home.
My new apartment is incredible ! Dakota has helped so much during the entire process and I can’t wait to move into my new apartment ! It is so close and convenient to my job and was so clean at move in! Thank you Dakota for your help and the incredible view is great ! I can’t to stay here for awhile!
My stay at the Estates has been phenomenal, Dakota has been amazing and I would highly suggest working with him and getting your new home here at the Estates. My family love the area. Our apartment is the biggest open floor plan we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend moving here! You will not be disappointed!
Dakota was fantastic in helping us move in back in October, but due to issues with A/c for over a month, calling and visiting the office everyday, and still a month and a half later still having the same issues with the ac. I live with my elderly mother who has diabetes and It’s currently 80 degrees in the apartment. It has been unbearable living here. I had to purchase my own mini ac units which barely help due to blowing around hot air. Extremely disappointed especially with the price to live here. Paying luxury prices but can’t even get a good working ac. Would not recommend moving here until they get the ac situation sorted out.
Katelyn & Rikki are beyond amazing!! I was looking for a two bedroom and am astonished with how how spacious the apartments were, all the amenities, and the beautiful view from the balcony! If you are looking for a wonderful & inviting community this is the one y’all! Thanks again!!
I have been living at Estates at New Albany for a few years now at building 19. Today I met Presten from the maintenance team. He provided me delightful experience that I would like to share. He was very professional and courteous. He knew his stuff. He was very efficient in fixing the toilet and the kitcken garbage disposal issues. If there is a away to get him for future maintenance requests , I would be thrilled. In my opinion, I would not be surprised if he becomes a maitnance manager here or elsewhere. He has the temperament to sooth the most irate tenant.Thank you.
We are super excited that we moved into our new apartment home today! Dakota made this process amazing, and super easy! We absolutely love our unit and can’t wait to be here for awhile ! Office staff is super friendly and have been super helpful, we can’t thank Dakota and everyone else here at the Estates for all of your help and we are so excited to be here at the Estates at New Albany ! Highly RECOMMEND!Update: we’ve been here almost 2 years and are still enjoying our home. We love the diverse neighbors. The staff has changed some, but Dakota is still here sharing his professionalism with us and the rest of the residents here. The maintenance staff have been more than helpful with repairs. We enjoy the walking path and dog park. Dakota is always efficient and ready to help us with any concerns. Dakota is super nice and explains things in great detail. If interested in the Estates for its great location, school system and large apartments be sure to ask for Dakota by name.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. I have lived here since 2019 and my experience gets better year after year. The office staff is extremely nice and helpful. Especially Dakota, always has a smile on his face and the first one to help and answer any questions or concerns I have. I love the Estates and my apartmsnt.
Dakota, the property management assistant welcomed me with such grace and poise. His professionalism so far is beyond words! When I initially moved into my assigned apartment, there were some issues on day one. I spoke with Dakota on day two and he rectified the situation immediately by reassigning me to another apartment within the division. As this is the beginning to a new journey within this housing complex, all I can say for now is more to follow on my stay here... And I hope they keep up there standards.
Me and my family just finished moving in last night and Dakota has been great since we first visited The Estates in November last year. He was able to answer all of our questions and take care of all our concerns. He even went above and beyond when our previous apartment complex didnt return his calls. He went to the office in person to get all of the information needed. We really appreciate all of his help in this process.
Margaret has been so helpful from the time that I first visited the Estates to the time that I moved towards the end of July. Margaret was so awesome with getting me taken care of that I even got her a gift card to show my appreciation. She is so personable and an absolute gem to work with. I could have asked for a better specialist. She met my Mother and little brother who are both fans of hers as well. I had a work order entered through Margaret and she stayed on top of it giving me calls to make sure I was home and letting me know the maintenance person would be coming. She always has a pleasant attitude and a big smile when we speak. I would recommend working her and she really made me realize this was the best decision for me. She was even excited for me moving because I was excited. I appreciate her asking me if I am enjoying my apartment and if I needed anything when I turned my move in sheet. Great service goes along way.
My fiancé and I have lived here for 2 years and have loved it! The office staff is always incredibly helpful and the apartments are well maintained. We recently worked with Dakota to transfer to a larger apartment. He made the process so easy for us! We are super happy with our upgraded larger place!
Don’t take house for rent in this Estates at New Albany. Worst service. We couldn’t move here on given date. When we step in for the first day the house was so messy and full of dust n dirt. We informed the people and they took one more week time to clean up and we stayed out for a week because of their negligence. Their major concern is MONEY. They never serve people equal. Discrimination is definitely there for Indians in every concern. The first and foremost thing is Lease. If we take one year lease and step into the house, they will torcher us before 6 months of leasing period expiry to extend it. Also Late paid rent (even 1 day delay) they charge us 150$ which is too much. For Trash removal 150$ per month. We will not get our deposit amount back. They cheated our deposit money and they will charge us minimum 1000$ as breakage saying this is not good and that is not good in the last minute. They are money minded people. Mouse problem is the major issue. No proper step was taken for us. They will charge for this and that. So I don’t recommend estates!
I was searching for a new apartment and happened to stop by Estates at New Albany. The units are gorgeous and the community is flawless however the real star of the show was Dakotta. He was prepared to answer every question I had in a professional manner even adding in pros and cons. The unit and community are wonderful and I hope the rest of the staff is as amazing as Dakota. Thanks again this was fast and easy!
Jon was very positive and had a great energy that immediately impressed my father and I. Even though the apartment I had called about had just rented, he found the place Im in had just come open, and were glad he did. He was very affable and engaged while talking to my Dad, and took the time to get to know him and understand my health situation. After I moved in on Friday, there were some issues with the place, and Im sure I broke protocol when I texted him Sunday afternoon. Instead of being annoyed, Jon made sure all my issues were addressed and taken care of first thing Monday morning. Im very happy with my location, and after looking for literally 2 months for a new place, I can say Jon provided the best experience Ive had in a very stressful process, and is a big reason why Im here. Thanks for everything!
Disgusting on the inside and outside. Do not move here, it is not worth and single penny that you pay. The office staff is rude and do not care if you’re not happy. All they care about is getting a good review. It supposedly “passed inspection” looking like this. Nasty.
Absolutely love it here. I moved in about two weeks ago and the amenities are great. Theres a really nice trail for walking, a dog park my two dogs love, and a patio that puts alot of other apartment complexes patios to shame. Besides amenities the apartments themselves are great. As someone who just moved from collegiate housing I cant express how happy to have thick walls so you dont hear everything your neighbors are doing. On top of being a great place to live, the staff has been super responsive and been available to answer any questions I have had. John and Alex made the whole leasing experience free of stress which is exactly what youd want during a move.
My fiancé and I have lived here for two years and have loved it. Any issue in our apartment was taken care of right away. We recently transferred to a larger unit with the help of the front office, especially Dakota. Dakota made the process swift and painless. We’re happy to be calling this place home.
The quality of this apartment is amazing but even better, is the staff. They really care about the renters! Work orders are timely and they are very responsive to concerns. They call to make sure everything is going well which I appreciate very much! I havent interacted with other renters too much, but when I have, they were kind. Many families with kids that are often in the road, riding bikes and walking which can get annoying as the roads arent the widest.Last time I went to the gym it was meh. Weight machines are in varying conditions but all worked and If you only use the treadmill Id just as soon recommend running around the property because its beautiful. They are very dog friendly. Dogs are everywhere. The dog park and pool are both excellent! Some of the outdoor grills werent working when we used them last, but we brought it up and I have no doubt they will be fixed the next time we do!
I am so excited to move into my new apartment at Estates at New Albany I have loved this place since my initial tour with Erica. I just moved in and Dakota made my move in experience wonderful! I cant wait to live here with my son, he is going to love the on site childrens park and the school district is amazing ! Hughley recommend for anybody looking for a new apartment home in New Albany ! Thank you Estates for being so professional and kind during this move !
I have lived here for 11 years! The previous management company was great! Now with the Connor Group I have water and trash removal fees of $150.00 a month! They raised my rent $270.00 more per month. So I decided to move elsewhere. I gave a a 80 day notice. Then I received a bill from them for $800.00...$200.00 of which was for early termination, a water sewer bill for $265.00 for 2 weeks?!! Paint for a 10x9 foot wall another $200.00. It goes on from there...totally fictitious!I was a great resident for 11 years and this is the thanks I get!!And to add further insult they said if I dont pay this bill in 2 weeks I will go into collections...I spent a lot of effort to improve my credit score, I dont need this! I was in the hospital last year for a week and have incurred a lot of medical bills!
I absolutely love this community! Margaret is phenomenal! She was/is extremely helpful. She was very friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and very welcoming also. I love that there are kids playing together and it is safe enough for them to actually do that outside!
So far this place has been an absolute nightmare, I was lied to as to what the remodeled unit I was moving into would have. Paying almost 1600 to live here and the gym is a joke. Missing weights old equipment that is unsafe. And the pool is never open. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. Looks beautiful on the outside but definitely not on the inside.Update: 8/5/21rubble from the pond thats taking up parking space and now I cant even park at my own building.Multiple code violations with my unit had to call city of Columbus and they were sent a notice of violation. Do not move here
I’m a former 20yr Retired Marine who has rented many homes and apartments in numerous states. This was by far the worst place I have ever rented. I realize this may be viewed as an exaggeration by some but it isn’t. The staff is extremely rude and dishonest. They’ll harass tenants 5 to 6 months before lease ends to ask if you are renewing lease. The staff rotates often so they can’t be held accountable for anything they tell you when touring the complex. I emailed my move-in discrepancy list to a staff member who was no longer at the apartment complex when I moved in. This became a problem for me when my lease ended because a member of the current staff named Erica billed me for issues I noted on the move-in list. The noted items where never addressed nor repaired so Erica incorrectly assumed I was responsible for the damage. I could go on and on but hopefully you’ll learn from my mistake and keep clear of this place.
I am so excited to live here at the Estates at New Albany, Dakota made my move in experience so easy! I love my apartment, it is the biggest one bedroom I have ever seen! We are so excited to be at the Estates at New Albany! Gorgeous property, great location, amazing swimming pool! Amazing staff and customer service !
Do not move here. Connor Property is horrible. First, the rent increase is at minimum of $100 a year, the place is not that nice, and they screw you out of anything they can. Waste of money. My smart locks stopped working twice within a two month period. They are less than considerate or compassionate when youre locked out of an apartment you pay rent for. This time I had to wit two hours before someone arrived to unlock the door. They do not compensate you for the inconveniences, no matter how frequently they happen, and they charge far too much money for what they are. The place is way overpriced. They also forced you to get Spectrum which is $50 more than Wow because they have a deal with the company. Run from this place as fast as you can. They are total rip off.
Worst ever service.. Staff here main motive is only money . Rent late fee is 150$ if we pay even 2nd of month and monthly maintenance is 150 to 200$ . Mandatory cable connection should be taken 150$ even if we aren’t interested. They’ll charge minimum 1000 to 1500$ charge after vacating with false charges. They’ll treat immigrants different and worst maintainance. After multiple months also our complaints won’t be fixed … Immigrants better to be avoided to rent this apartment… won’t recommend at all.
The estates at new Albany is the most wonderful place to live. Margaret is amazing she helped my family and I find the perfect home. If you are looking for a nice home please don’t think twice this is such a nice community and they never closed the office even during the pandemic.. rent here you will not be disappointed.
Moved in a few weeks ago . I love the apartment. Lived here 15 years ago and had bought a condo.John and Dakota. Are great . Everyone in the office is great . Great customer service. Timely responses . My view is awesome I’m back by a beautiful pond and walking path . My cat is even happier here . Thank you everyone for the great welcome I’ve had .
The leasing team at The Estates at New Albany helped us move in within the week. They were timely, accurate, and worked with the urgency and professionalism our special circumstance required. Thanks again for Jon and team for helping us out in such a huge way. We will not forget it!
I am in love with my new apartment. Margaret Is so nice and she helped me with my new home. Location is great and customer service is top notch. I would recommend anyone traveling from to move here at all cost you will not be disappointed. I am so happy thank you Estates at New Albany. 24 hr gym and freeway is 5 minutes away
In addition to the nice floor plans and easy access to great schools for my kids - Ive really appreciated my experiences with the staff at the Estates, they have been very helpful. Jenni has helped me on a number of occasions and was very kind during the stressful moving process. I really appreciated her ability to provide a virtual tour - she answered all of our questions and helped make it a smooth transition.
First id like to start by saying the area itself is amazing and VERY family oriented and Dog friendly!! Apartments are very very beautiful inside and out and might i say spacious, I am very pleased with the customer service That JON no H 😊 gave. Hes amazing ,very down to earth and Welcoming !! He made the move in process easy and hassle free . If youre looking for a place to move look no where else, make sure you ask for Jon and he will get you right 💃🏽THANKS JON !!!
Do not rent from here. The charge exorbitantly and increase prices each year. Not to mention they lie about pricing and the conditions/amenities offered. You are 100% better off avoiding this tragic excuse of a company.Oh and lets not forget, all those 5 star reviews? Bought and paid for by the company via a measly $25 voucher for 1 month of rent. What a joke, not to mention, despicable and immoral. Estates at New Albany is a joke.Edit: and now theyre lying about paying for reviews. I literally have proof of this. They absolutely buy reviews.
I moved in about a week ago. Stacie and Erica where awesome. Very professional and accommodating to my circumstances and needs. My apartment is beautiful and the few issues I had where and are being addressed. My new neighbors are welcoming. The grounds are clean and well kept. I have not had time to use the amenities but am looking forward to using the pool and walking paths and workout room. Would recommend to family and friends.
My first year here was a bit crazy, but I must say the older gentleman maintenance guy is quick and pleasant. Has dog treats if you have a dog. I have been here going on 3 years in September. Erica was great at understanding my issues with upgrades and was helpful. Margaret is very attentive - answered all my calls within minutes of not same day. She was awesome in helping me transition from 2 bed loft to two bed apt. Love my new apt. And thanks Dakota for running to my my old mailbox for me!! No parking issues, people seem to pick up their dog poo - dog poo stations all over the complex. Dog park is new. Pleasant complex, paying for the location. My view is the Blendon Woods very relaxing and private balconies are nice. I made it 5 stars after today!! Erica helped me ALOT today! 5 stars all the way!!
My 5 year old daughter and I recently moved into a 1 bedroom and our experience was amazing from start to finish! My leasing agent was super informative about all of the amenities and the community. If it weren’t for her we would still be searching for a place to call home. So happy to start this journey in a wonderful community! ☺️
I’d love to give more stars but the roaches has carried that away. We just moved here. First I’ll say, Margret was very nice when I first came in. She showed us the unit we got. They were putting new carpet in. The unit has amazing sunlight. We are downsizing from a huge home & we were looking for something much smaller. The location is wonderful. All the office staff have been nothing but gracious. We had bugs from the jump! I let the manager know & they sent someone to spray, they will be out again in two weeks! Now I completely understand when your living this close to others there’s no telling how or what goes on in another unit. It’s just so disheartening & a huge disappointment to pay as much for unwanted pests. Yes, I’m still seeing them! I’d give them 5 stars if that wasn’t the case. Unfortunately that & the cigarette butts & trash makes me regret moving here!**update!! 2/25 I really appreciate how the management handled the situation with the unwanted pests! They stayed on top of that & the manager called & stopped by!! Very pleased with the resolution!
Be mindful of all the five star reviews. They tell new tenants they will take money off their next months rent if they submit a good review (we never got ours credited). The apartments/town homes themselves are very spacious and very nice if maintained. Ours had a leak in the living room that we were told was nothing to be worried about but then lo and behold it started to leak after two months and was water damaged. The carpets are cheap. The continuously try to get you to resign your lease throughout the year (their first attempt was about 4 months in) saying they have great offers which only increase your rent. Now that we have moved out they are trying to claim we caused close to a $1000 in damage. Just seems like a very sketchy and poorly managed property where the goal is to make money as possible without caring for the tenants. When moving out or neighbor informed us he was paying close to $400 more for his unit when they were identical. Also, the monthly fees on top of rent are insane.Be careful.
The Estates is such a nice place. Margaret helped me find my new home. Great location to everything and I love it here. My apartment is so nice and I am so happy now. If you are looking to find a nice place in the New Albany chose here. Outside nice and people are friendly.
Staff has been helpful and friendly! The apartments are spacious for the cost and the location. When you pull in, it feels comfortable and like home. The pool and fitness center are very nice and well kept. I didn’t do 5 stars only because when I moved in, my apartment was not thoroughly cleaned, dryer not set up and since they only have one maintenance guy, requests go by priority so they may take a while. I liked that Maya walked through the apartment with me on my move in day.
What a wonderful experience! I love this place. I hadnt even seen it before I rented it. It was all online and through the amazing staff and especially Erica! She helped me knowing I was not going to be able to visit the property prior to being able to make a decision of where to live. She was super helpful right from the start. We were moving from Florida and had to have a rental within one and a half months. She was very informative and showed me all the options available and helped find the perfect apartment in our budget. The place is perfect for us! The communication with the office is great! Erica even took pictures of the insides of the apartments and the outside of the apartment I ended up choosing. She went way over and above! This was an easy transition. Avery the maintenance guy is superb and super nice. We had a brand new washer and dryer delivered the day we arrived and he hooked it up ASAP!I highly recommend this property. I am looking forward to this year here!Thank you Erica for making this a smooth transition for me and my family.
The apartments and community are nice and very well kept. The pool and fitness center are an added bonus as they are very nice. Maia was super helpful in dealing with our crazy schedules and all of our questions. She was very quick to resolve and issues we had. Application process was super fast and easy and maintenance is very quick to deal with any problems you may have!! Over all very pleased so far!!
My children and I recently moved from Virginia Beach, VA to Columbus, OH. We travelled one weekend just to spend time looking at apartments. The Estates at New Albany was the first on our list. Like most people, you tend to look at other properties for comparison. Well...we just kept going back to the Estates at New Albany, and how much we liked the apartments, location, and how nicely the grounds are kept. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. When we originally stopped by to look at floor plans and ask questions about the apartments, we did not have an appointment. Kelli, was wonderful and took the time to show us a unit and answer our questions. We thought it would be an adjustment moving from a larger home to an apartment, but you cannot beat the square footage of these apartments. Very spacious!!! I am very pleased with our choice, and love all the amenities that come with the apartment. If you are looking for a nice apartment, I highly recommend the Estates at New Albany!!!
Great place to live and a nice community. Mandi & staff are exceptional and they made my move in perfect. My townhouse is awesome and the pool, workout room, clubhouse is clean, maintained and convenient. Ive met really nice people here and when my kids visit we have a lot of fun at the pool with other kids.Since I moved in Mid-June there have been many upgrades to the grounds including new street asphalt and sidewalk pavements, really awesome built-in BBQ grills, fountain, signage, exterior paint and restoration, as well as attention to ground improvements all over the campus.Being a designer, busy entrepreneur and dad -- , I wanted a place that is comfortable, safe and well maintained. Its really great to see and live in a place that pays attention to detail and cares about tenants and the community.
Moved to the estates at New Albany earlier this week. The staff was friendly a d considerate. Margaret was especially helpful with the paperwork and getting me situated. This is definitely one of the more expensive places to live but the community and amenities are appreciated.
Very happy knowing my family will enjoy being at The Estates of New Albany. The apartment is perfect for our family. We have an amazing location. The grounds are nice and we already are working out in the fitness center. We couldnt have picked a better development. Staff is wonderful as well. They really helped my wife pick a great place out for us. I highly recommend The Estates at New Albany.
Ive been living at the Estates of New Albany for almost half a year now and have greatly enjoyed my time! My neighbors have been sweet and kind-hearted with me since my move in date. The same can be said about the front office! I havent had a problem since moving here, and if I did - I know the front office would take the time to help work things out. Overall, love living here!
We recently moved to the Estates at New Albany and are really liking it so far! We moved here for a job and didnt get a chance to come visit before moving so had to find a place remotely. We have 3 young children so needed more space and preferred ground level. We were blessed to get a ground level 3 bedroom 1400 sq ft apartment which is so rare to find! Kelli in Management has been so nice and helpful to us throughout the whole process. Once we arrived we were happy with our place and have enjoyed the area and amenities here. After doing the walk through we found a few issues that maintenance came and took care of immediately. I know they are still in the works of doing some changes and renovation and am excited to see what they do. Overall, we highly recommend the Estates at New Albany.
I love this place! My experience in moving here was seamless the first moment I stepped in the door of the leasing office. Danielle was my leasing agent, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly! She made the entire process smooth and easy, and all of the other staff members I interacted were also very friendly and welcoming. The community is beautiful and well kept, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and a great value for the money! The property includes several amenities including a pool with grill area, a fitness center, dog park, playground, and club house. As a former resident, I noticed the area around the community has developed yet the complex still feels like it’s tucked back into a quiet corner backed by trees and wildlife. Other perks include valet trash pick up twice per week, washer and dryer included with every unit, and close proximity to grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, shopping, etc. I am very happy with my decision in moving here, and I cannot speak highly enough about Danielle and her team I the leasing office! With the variety of units ranging from single bedroom to family townhomes, I would highly recommend this community to just about anyone. Very satisfied - 5 stars!
First, Ill start with how helpful Stacie and other staff have been from start of application to second viewing to help with decision making. The staff have been super friendly. Moved in three weeks ago and so far have really enjoyed the open concept layout. Easy for entertaining. I do wish there was solid surface floors on main level but an area rug will help with food under dinning room table. Did have some sticking of door lock but maintenance was very responsive and got it taken care of in no time. Will rate again once I get a chance to try out the pool in a few weeks. Lastly, but was high on importance list to my family is no problems with parking. Havent had to fight for a space and guest can park close by.
I just moved in last weekend. So far I really love it here. The apartments are beautiful inside and out. Great location! Updated kitchen with new appliances, spacious for a one bedroom. The maintenance team is very quick to respond and fix things. Alex was great when doing the walkthrough with me, she answered all of my questions/concerns. Thank you estates at new Albany staff, for making my move less stressful :) I’m happy to call this place my home!
We recently downsized and transferred within the complex into a two bedroom town home here and we couldnt be happier! Weve been onsite for three years now and have no intention of leaving! The complex as a whole is gorgeous, many new fun and beautiful updates. The pool area is amazing - great for kids and adults! The town home itself is beautiful, spacious and beautifully updated. And the office staff couldnt be better!! The ladies in the office are so helpful, prompt with their responses, and truly dedicated to the residents and future residents. Maintenance staff was there on our move-in day and couldnt have been more polite and helpful - such a refreshing change from past complexes we have lived in. Parking is plentiful, the neighborhood is quiet and the location is convenient to everything. I would recommend Estates at New Albany to anyone - from singles to full families - they have beautiful accommodations for all!
I lived here previously from 2008-2011 and it was a great neighborhood, but the management staff was not easy to work with. Since there is new management I’ve had zero issues. I couldn’t wait to get back into the neighborhood. There are many updates within the apartments themselves and the exterior is updated as well. The apartments are super quiet and people are very friendly. Danielle in the rental office worked with me to get me into the apartment and it was a smooth experience. When I have maintenance issues they come fix them right away with barely any wait time. Glad to call the Estates at New Albany “home” again!
Editing my review once again after my extension problem was discussed with management. Although the resolution was not perfect, I believe an appropriate compromise was reached. If you had asked me two years ago what my rating would have been, it would have easily been five stars.First the positives. The location is wonderful and the screened in patio is amazing. I am literally just feet away from Blendon Woods. I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent on my patio just reading and relaxing while listening to the birds. There is a beaver that lives in the on-site pond that is a delight to watch. I love the fact that there are so many children running around happily playing. The pool is very nice.I do wish that there was more of an effort to foster a sense of community in this complex. With so many young families, it would not be difficult. Some suggestions: weekly food trucks, decorating contests (Christmas, Halloween, July 4, etc.), community newsletters (not just stating rules and notices). These wouldnt cost much, but would encourage residents to get to know their neighbors better. So, why has my rating dropped from five stars to three? We had a pet when we moved in, but she sadly died a bit over a year ago. They refused to remove the pet fee from our monthly rent without a death certificate which is not provided by vets for animal deaths. My wife actually took our pets ashes into the office for the manager at the time to see in order to have the fee removed. To be fair, the current manager was unhappy when I repeated this story to him, but that lack of compassion during such a painful period of time still hurts.Beyond that, the ever increasing fees (I think $50 a month for valet trash pickup is a bit steep when you are limited to two bags, no boxes, and the bags must be stacked inside of your 13 gallon can), the large quantity of dog poop laying around (seriously people-pick up after your dogs), and speed of maintenance requests are negatives.
Wonderful experience! My apartment is spacious with an airy and beautiful view balcony. Feels homey seeing kids playing in the community. Also, the customer service is good and they help you with the application. Location is great due to proximity to grocery stores and restaurants.
I moved in this past summer and love my apartment. The complex is very centralized where you have gas stations, grocery stores and not to mention the restaurants. The staff is great. The kitchen is amazing and up to date. I love that the trash is picked up three times a week. This is really great with the weather we have had. Amenities are great!
Moving here will be your biggest mistake. If youve been a long time resident here my review will be no surprise to you. My family and I live at the Estates for 6 years and just moved out this spring. Under the old property management company (Village Green), we had a great experience. The property was well maintained and the staff was amazing. However, everything changed with the Connor Group staff. The management test, especially Erica, are incompetent, rude and incapable of acting ethically. They maintenance staff is non-responsive and often fake repairs or act as if they could not gain entry to the apartment. It took them over a year and a half to replace a hole in my ceiling that resulted from a leak. The last year I leased with them, they were offering upgrades to the apartments at an additional cost of $200 per month (on top of the increase in rent). I was sold a dream about how the upgrades were with high quality materials and improved the appearance of the apartment. None of which were true. They did the repairs 3 months late, which means I paid for something that I didnt receive and they never offered to accommodate me for this. And the quality of the materials and craftsmanship was TERRIBLE! In fact they damaged my apartment while doing the upgrades. I sent over 20 pictures to Erica with an itemized list of damages. At first she acted as if she would rectify the situation them never followed through. When the leasing staff (Alex) came to talk to me about renewing the lease, I mentioned this situation and she had nothing to say but are you going to renew your lease. That response, in its self, offer so much insight on the level of incompetent with this staff. Needless to say I moved out, which Erica tried to make a difficult experience by refusing to offer a rental verification to retaliate because I would not resign the lease. They tried to force me to give notice of vacating the property before I was approved for my house even though I did not have to give notice yet per my lease... VERY ILLEGAL. My realtor and I both had to call Corporate and even threaten with legal action to obtain the verification. I cant tell you how happy I am to no longer have to deal with Erica and her team even though they charged me $1862.50 in move out cost (with some of the items being for repairs that were requested but maintenance failed to complete). But thats okay it was worth writing the check so I never have to deal with the Connor Group again.
We moved in to the Estates at New Albany less than a week ago. So far everything has been great. The apartment is very spacious and the management team was very flexible with our move in date. The only problem that we had was not having the correct keys to the apartment when we moved in. The management resolved this problem very quickly. Overall, we have been treated well since weve been here.
I am so excited to be here! From the beginning, this team, Margerite, Dakota, and Matt, have kept me informed. Had patience, and walked me through this whole move. They eased my concerns, moving from out of state, making my transition almost seamless!! Thank you! ...and the apartment is beautiful!!
I have lived here for some time now and regret it 100%, although my upgraded apartment is very nice, the customer service here is 1/10. I was shocked when I did not receive genuine kind care from the staff, but now on a regular basis when I have a question, or need something I am never surprised at the lack of simple kindness. I am so surprised that such a large apartment complex can not supply good, quality customer service. I would not recommend living here. Not to add that the gym and bathrooms are never touched and are always found horribly dirty.
Its incredible to work with great people who care. Dekota hs been an amazing guy to work with. Through out the process of moving in and settling in he has always been there to not only guide us by giving us the information need but also staying on top with any issues weve ever had. He is very professional and very attentive to details.
We have been living at the estates for almost a month now and we have really enjoyed our living arrangements so far. We were looking for an apartment that we could afford in the area that also allowed our pets to live at a decent rate. We actually found an apartment closer to Easton that we originally were going to sign with however due some weird vibes with the office staff we decided to pull our application. I was in panic mode when I got to the estates (as we only had a few weeks until we needed to be out of our old place) Alex was amazing she took the time to answer all of my questions both in office and the days following.Pros:-Nice area and tons do to surrounding the complex-Safety – I feel completely safe walking my dogs no matter what time-Speaking of dogs – the dog park. This was a must for us.-Newly painted outdoor porch-Large living room space, bathroom and closest for a one bedroom I am impressed with how much space we have-Friendly office staff (they have been willing to answer my questions and hear me out at all times)-Work out facility and pool are a good size and kept clean-Rent including our animals – we feel comfortable with the rent price we are paying and what we are getting for it-Utilities (so far we have not had an issue with the utility bills, we have not received a true “real” utility bill yet so time will tell if they are truly as high as some of the complaints.)-Its pretty quite –however it is an apartment so some noise is expectedCons:-Trash. Trash gets left outside of the compactor even when it’s not full. I wish the complex would enforce the rules on leaving trash outside of it more.-It’s a large complex and while they keep up on the grounds fairly well sometimes the grass desperately needs cut making it harder to clean up after the dogs-Parking this is not as much of a struggle as I thought it was going to be when we first moved in. But I have feeling this is about to get harder as it gets colder and snowy out.Overall/ So far we are really happy with our decision to move into The Estates.Hoping the good vibes and happy living conditions continue.
Margaret was extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating! We just moved into our first apartment and she made the process insanely easy. The place is beautiful and located just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough that errands aren’t out of the way. Love it!
This apartment complex is more like a fraud. They charge for no reason huge chuncks of money. First of all other than rent they charge a monthly fee around $130 for utilities which is trash, valet trash (3 days a week and only 2 bags each time), sewer, common gas, common electric, admin fee, etc. They charge me 210 for deposit and another 200 for all the initial fees. On the move out I had the carpet cleaned by professionals and after a month Im out Ive received a letter which is showing they are charging me 100 for carpet cleaning, and the rest of the deposit to other charges. So all the deposit is already gone. They asked for 150 more for the utilities and they are asking for termination fee which I dont understand what that is when you put a notice and your lease is up. Theyre charging for move out about fee. I dont understand why a landlord should try to make money like this.If you need a place which is only called luxury but there is not even enough parking spots and the building is old and management is only trying to rip you off by all means then this is the right place for youIf you are looking for a place which had an unbreakable lease term only with the possibility of sublease through them to pay more admin fee and a bunch of other fees and a refundable deposit which will never be refunded then this place is for youIf you dont need a parking spot near your apartment then its yoursIf you like cabinets which their paint peel off all the time like they get skinned then their white cabinets are perfect for youIf you like utility cost increasing without your consent then youre good to goIf you like someone comes to your door every 6 month to make you renew your lease and inspect the place then thats itIm really disappointed with Estates at New Albany and I wish I never lived there if I knew all this in advance. If you notice majority of the good review are from new residents because management ask them to write a5 start review and get $20 off the next month rentIf you forget your rent for just a day they dont care even if its your first time. 120 late fee is added
We have called the Estates of New Albany home for over 15 years. Not only is this complex in a great school system, it is wonderful family community with tons of perks like the new dog park, the beautiful pool and a safe walking track throughout the community.Earlier in 2017 the complex was taken over by new management but we havent seemed to skip a beat. The new office and maintenance staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive.Along with the great office staff, the Management company is currently performing upgrades to our somewhat outdated complex.Weve truly enjoyed our time at the Estates and have been proud to call it home for so many years!
Erica, Lexi and Stacey are the BEST! You made us feel like celebrities! Every need and want accomplished immediately! From the approval up to moving in was a platinum experience! Now THATS top of the line customer service. The weird thing is, I was gonna ask about a few things to get done in our apartment and it was as though you read my mind! Love the new fencing, LOVE my flooring and my resort luxury living! Can you tell I am happy??? Been a long time since we received such great customer service with the ability to problem solve so kindly and expeditiously! Ladies, keep up the GREAT job! Christmas gifts for everyone!Loving Lagare!
The apartment itself is very clean and is way bigger than other apartments that I looked at! The staff is friendly and has been available every time I needed them. The bathroom has a deep tub and ample counter space for getting ready. There are multiple closets with more than enough room and the bedroom closet is especially nice, not to mention it is walk-in. To add onto that, the balcony is big and adorned with a beautiful blue color paint.
If there was anything below 1, I would have given that rating for this apartment. That is how much disappointed I am with the management services. I moved out of this place in October, I left my security deposit with the office because they say it take cares of the outstanding utility bills for the last month and they will mail the refund after evaluation to my new address(that I provided). My utility bill for the moving month was $186 for single bedroom apartment and I wasnt getting much for refund which I knew so I careless about it.In good faith, I left hoping they will take care of the issue. I never got any mail or anything from the office, neither did I ever hear back from them until Wednesday. Wednsday, after four months of leaving the apartment, I got a call in the morning from COLLECTION saying I have a pending balance for utilities for $186. I was furious, I never got my deposit BACK and the bill was still unpaid and when I call them they made me call back and forth to utilities office which was ridiculous. They had not taken care of the matter even at the end of that day. I called on Thursday and Manager said she took care of it but I doubt that. They were not even apologetic or anything. They dont realize what impact does it have on us getting call from COLLECTION.Let me tell you a little bit more about this apartment, it is a spacious apartment (No Doubt) but their billing services for utilities is unrealistic and pathetic - $60 ONLY FOR TRASH, like who pays that much for trash only and including everything else, I paid almost $200-$240 for single bedroom. Manager Kim, she will be super nice to you and will come visit you to convince you to stay with different kind of offers, which is just fine but please when it comes to take care of our important matter, show the same enthusiasm too.
I recently moved in and my experience has been a good one. My apartment looked great when I moved in. I did have a couple of leaks happening and they were quickly taken care of. Ive seen some reviews that said theres trash laying around but the complex grounds that I see is always nice. I also live near the dog park and I havent come across any dog poop that hasnt been picked up. Maybe my location is better but I never have parking issues. I also happen to like that theyve painted the patios/balconies various colors, it livens it up!
The Estates are a great place to live! The location is close to any kind of shopping or food you could possible want but is still quiet and peaceful. Office staff, especially Alex and Kelli, are amazing and go out of their way to make it a good experience. The apartment is spacious with lots of natural light. I have lived here almost a year and have had only minor maintenance issues that you would expect in any place. They are quick to fix anything, and the complex is well maintained. My only complaint is that they no longer provide recycling - which means I have to haul it away myself or not recycle at all!
Ive lived here for almost two years. The majority of the time was in a three bedroom and recently moved into a two bedroom (kids moved out). The office staff was amazing in helping us transition our lease to a two bedroom. They are very responsive and extremely helpful. The area is great, and they are doing many exterior upgrades that make the community very nice.
From the moment we walked into the leasing office at the Estates at New Albany, we knew we were home. Moving from across the country to Columbus, we did not know what to expect, but Kelli in the leasing office made it an easy choice. She immediately addressed all of our needs and ensured that we were able to move in on time. After moving in, Tad and the maintenance crew quickly fixed all of our issues, even over a holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing all of the updates around here completed as well. Thanks to the staff for making this an easy move!
We just moved to Columbus from New Jersey and could not be happier with our new home. The apartment is clean, spacious and very quiet. We are in a great location, close to shopping and pretty much everything you need. The property is great especially with the pool, playground and dog park. Also plenty of great walking and running trails and routes. This is a great community and we are so happy to be a part of it.
Weve had a great experience at the Estates at New Albany so far, they have been nice to us and very helpful from the very beginning. We cant thank Danielle Smith well enough for taking the time to get us settles and ready into our new apartment., job greatly done Danielle! you rock! Thank you again for everything :)
I just recently moved in, but so far the experience has been great! My timeline for moving changed a few times. Everyone I worked with was so helpful and patient. The apartment was clean and in good shape. I have a lot of space and love my porch! It’s also nice that there is a lot of outdoor space for kids to play in addition to the playground.
We moved to Escorts about 3 months ago. We found staff was friendly and very helpful. Helped us to process documents quickly, we moved in very fast. We love the green and calm environment, great place who ever seeks to live with peace in mind.I also appreciate maintenance service, we had trouble with one of the lights in the living area – support came to fix it within few hours we requested help us.
I love living at the estates of New Albany! It has been a great experience. I love my apartment and the property ! It is pet friendly and has a nice walking loop around he perimeter. The dog park is also great for my dog playing with other dogs. It is also just minutes away from any store or business you could possibly need!
Very worst service they provide. They highly discriminate tenants. They won’t give any proper service for immigrants . They are using the school zone and keep on increasing rent for every lease . First lease they ll give less price after each year they’ll increase rent 300 to 400$ . After moving out used to charge minimum 1500 to 2000$ as breakage even if there’s is no issues. Won’t get fix for many months being there including mice problem. They won’t bother to fix the issues. They initially give us for lesser rent and keep on increasing for this and that. Also if we are even one day late in paying rent they charge us 150$ as penalty. No lease breakage with them. They won’t consider any of our problems and attend it on time. Discrimination is their major goal. Completely money minded people. Before 6 months itself end of lease front desk people used to call and torture to renew lease by increasing rent 300 to 500$ Saying that to be signed immediately. Internet including Cable to be taken for 120$ even we won’t use cable. Not advisable apartment especially for immigrants.
I am very happy with our experience at Estates at New Albany thus far! My husband got a job offer here and within a week we moved from AZ to OH, when we were here looking for places Erica made the process so fast and easy. Even made sure we had a way to get our keys after hours since we would be driving across the country and arriving late at night. So far they have been very responsive and welcoming. I look forward to living here! Thank you!!
Just glad our lease is ending in July, this place will nickel and dime you to death. Be prepared for your rent to keep going up every year due to maintenance costs when is reality theyre just taking advantage of Columbuss housing shortage. Had our Wow cable cut twice now due to the complex sign a deal with Spectrum despite assurance current service wouldnt be interrupted. Unsupervised kids run rampant everywhere yelling and screaming outside your door. Units must have cheap insulation due to hearing neighbors subwoofers and stomping around from upstairs neighbors. But again its a luxury apartment lol, run now
Leasing process was made so easy, they had answers for every question and returned every message so fast. Something I couldn’t get when trying to find a place to lease to begin with. The apartments are very nice and affordable for the size and amenities they have on site. Quiet neighborhood and all around nice folks everywhere. Thanks Lexi, you’ve made this easy for me and that kind of experience with people will take you further. If your looking into leasing here, give them a shout and ask for her, you won’t be disappointed! I guarantee it will work out better than anywhere else you call around this area. They aim to please you and you know that’s hard to find nowadays!
Updating my review. We were pleased to see a short term lease option. Thank you to Margaret for trying hard and getting the preferred leasing option for us. It was really helpful and would save us from unnecessary and stressful moving process, especially in this crazy weather!!
I have lived at The Estates at New Albany for about 2 months now and I love it! Its a quiet, family oriented community, and the office staff is amazing! From the very beginning, Kelli was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the community and the planned updates. Her customer service is a large reason I chose to move here. Also, the office has extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is open 7 days a week, which is nice.I am in a 1BR unit and theres tons of space! It is reasonably priced for the size, but slightly on the higher side considering how old the community is. They are making updates, though theyre all purely cosmetic. Theyre painting the exterior of the buildings a nice blue-ish gray, black, and white color scheme, but theyre also adding horrendous pops of color (red, yellow, cobalt blue, or dark green) on the balcony/patio area of every apartment. While its minor, it was not a good choice and actually makes the community look less luxury. Since being here, Ive not had any issues. My biggest concern thus far is the kids. This community has A LOT of kids. They like to ride their bikes and scooters or play with balls in the roadway, so always be on the lookout for little ones when driving through the community.Overall, this is a wonderful community that I highly recommend! If things stay as they are, and they remain reasonably priced, I plan to stay a while!
5/25/19 Memorial Day WeekendWow, pool just opened and the patio has all new deluxe furniture! Amazing place to live and big thanks to the new management here. Erika and your staff rocks!!! Thank you for making this a great place to live.My kids are here today and we are playing in the pool, which is super beautiful, and grilling burgers. Also big thank you for making sure the propane tanks are filled; these are awesome high-ends grills! Finally thank you to the super cool woman (beautiful) who just brought out water guns, sidewalk chalk, and pool toys for the kids! Really soooo nice of you!I’m glad I just renewed my lease :)
The apartment is good and well maintained. The services on heaters were attended immediately. The leasing office personnel was very sweet and handled the entire onboarding in a very smooth way. Great Experience! Wishing to have a pleasant stay at Estates at New Albany.. :)
Huge shout out to Dakota for helping me and my family in our time of need. I was trying to get an apartment for my mother after a medical condition forced us to find a smaller apartment. Not only did he help us find a great place, but kept up with us and was able to help me on the obscure timeline we had when waiting for results of medias tests and my schedule in the military and having to return back to NC. I was doing everything for my mom and sometimes things were needed or done incorrectly on my part and he was kind and helpful with getting everything done. This was definitely 5 star service and I cant thank him enough for his help, patience, and work ethic!
I would highly recommend living here! The pool and fitness area are always kept clean and the grounds crew is so friendly and helpful. I love my apartment, it has plenty of space for me and my belongings. The staff is very helpful and maintenance always attends to any issues in a reasonable time and resolves the issue.
Estates at New Albany really is a beautiful place to live. I recently moved into New Albany and have absolutely loved my time here so far. Flats are spacious and well equipped. The pool view is awesome. The living situation is pretty good! The apartments are well kept, clean, decent space and the staff is very friendly. The location is also great; youre very close to schools, shopping malls and restaurants but you get a quieter environment. I would definitely recommend The estates at New Albany.
These guys have been so easy to work with during our move in process at our new units. The office staff lead by Erica and Stacie are very professional and friendly during any interaction with them. I would recommend someone leasing from these folks, if you are looking for affordable housing.
I just moved in and so far its been good. I love the floor plan in my first floor apartment -it feels very spacious, it comes with big windows and ceiling fans which makes my apartment being ventilated at all times; it comes also with brad new appliances and a fireplace.Theyre also in the process of painting all these buildings outside walls with bright colors which gives the property a fresh new look.People living here is friendly and its quiet and peaceful at night. The surrounding areas are nice, they have a decent pool, a gym, and a playground area and they have outside grills and tables around the complex.Kelli is great, she took the time to walked me thru my new apartment and answered all my questions promptly, the leasing process went so smoothly thanks to her, she is very professional.A few things I did not like tho:1. All these bugs, there was some spiders and spiderwebs inside and outside my apartment when I moved in; I even saw a tiny snake wandering around in the grass outside. Sorry I hate spiders and snakes, so I cant let this one slide.2. The cheap window blinds, I mean I understand theyre trying to save money but apartments should stop putting up all these cheap blinds and get decent ones that wont break that easily and you will be ending up replacing some of them when you move out.3. And last but not least and I think its the most important one: rent is due the first of the mont, but they dont have a grace period; it will be nice if they would offered a 3 to 5 day grace period before they start charging for late fees.Overall, I can say its been a good experience so far.
We had the absolute pleasure to work with Dakota at New Albany Estates. This move was very last minute and not planned but he’s made the process so easy, enjoyable, and very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend this community and HIGHLY recommend working with Dakota. I’m proud to say I am now a new resident. Thank you Dakota!!!!
I just moved in about a week ago and it was such a painless move. This was the second complex we toured while looking for places and immediately fell in love with it! Maia was so great during the tours and working with my crazy schedule being a flight attendant. She is very helpful with any questions or concerns we have had so far! Looking forward to living here for the next year!
Estates at New Albany was an absolute pleasure to live at. I had a single bed room apartment and I must say it was very nice. My favorite part was the large and numerous windows. The leasing staff were responsive and approachable as well. I highly recommend Estates at New Albany!
These apartments are the most beautiful that I have ever lived in! The application process was super easy and the customer service is great. My dishwasher was not working and all I had to do was text their phone number to let them know and it was fixed by the end of the day!
This place has a warm welcoming energy feel to the community. I was treated as a resident from the first interaction. The office lady, Danielle Smith, answered any question I brought to her and they were willing to move out the supplied washer and dryer for me to move in my personal laundry appliances, which was a huge plus for me. The Estates at New Albany is also located near anything I want to do from fun/recreation to food and Easton nearby.
I just moved into the Estates at New Albany and I have to say the leasing process was seamless. My associate Danielle Smith was amazing, she did a great job dealing with me changing my mind three times on what type of unit I was searching for, when I wanted to move in, etc. The day I signed the lease and the keys were turned over she walked the unit with me and the few minor issues were fixed before I ever moved in. Thanks for a great experience!
We have been living here for almost 5 years now and its been great. Great location, Everything you need is pretty much within 2 miles. The community is nice and because of good schools the neighborhood is full of decent families which makes this place more lively. The maintenance staff is very friendly and will get their job done on time. Kelli in the office is always helpful and understanding. Great experience overall.
We recently moved to Ohio after 30 years owning a home in WV. We looked at apartments for months and finally found New Albany and the Estates. The New Albany/ Gahanna area has everything you could want and my daughter loves New Albany High School. We had no idea how to go about the renting process and what would be best in our situation. Alex in the office was very patient and helped us along step by step. We absolutely love the apartment. We have a three bedroom and it is big! The master bedroom is super and the high ceilings are beautiful. We’ve only been here 2 weeks but are very impressed.
Our leasing agent was friendly and helpful. She really worked hard to help us be successful in pulling off our interstate move in a hurry. Our apartment is spacious and well laid out and we havent heard a peep out of the neighbors since we got here. We love the location of the complex and look forward to a great year here.
My move in date was a very short timeline. Kelli was very helpful in working to my schedule, attentive, and professional. She answered all of my questions and delivered a nice home for me and my family. So far, I have no complaints! And Im looking forward to learning more about the community. Its a great place to entertain guests, and everyone is welcoming to us.
Ive lived here nine years now and absolutely love it. The new ownership group hadnt waited even 90 days before they started investing in the property with new roads, new paint and landscaping and plans for a new dog park. The new office staff and property manager picked right up where the previous group left off with friendly and prompt customer service and a very clear desire to maintain The Estates as a premium apartment community. Everyone on the new office staff and grounds crew greet me with a smile and the property manager in charge of the office is a pleasure to work with. Its not the cheapest apartment community in the neighborhood but I believe it is the best value. Large interiors, great service, never an issue with safety and security and a bright future with the new owners. No doubt ill sign my 10th lease when the time comes.
We lived here for a year ! My husband lived there when village green managed the complex and everything was great so we decided to give it a try now that we have a son. When we decided to tour it we noticed that there was new management and we were little apprehensive but Kelli was great. Now she does not work any more. We decided to sign a lease since we got an apartment that was upgraded by previous management. However it does not matter if the outside is great if the inside is not. We moved on May and our air conditioner was not working and maintenance went to our apartment for more than 5 times and did not find the cause until my husband gave them the idea of what they could do. Then, we had issues with our roof that it was leaking. It was never fixed. Also, our living room blinds were falling apart and also were not fixed. We were happy at first with valet trash but the trash was not picked up when it was promised and I even called management and still no one came to pick up my trash that is not pick up for free since I paid $38 for it. The general manager at the time was so rude and did not care about the residents since so many promises were made and most of them were not followed. Moreover, it was outrageous that they wanted to increase our rent because of updates but the updates were not going to be made to our apartment since it were already done by previous management. As you can see, it made no sense. If you are looking for new albany schools, there are other options where you will pay the same amount of rent and the apartments are bigger. Also, the pool was green, the gym dirty and the washer and dryers available for the people that do not have them on the apartments did not work properly at all.
New management staff is fantastic and friendly. The apartment manager, Mandi is very attentive and has handled any issue quickly and efficiently. The apartment complex as a whole is being upgraded everywhere. The new dog park is beautiful, not to mention the new pool area... Its fantastic!
I am a former resident at the Estates of New Albany. I had a 2 year lease with the complex. When I first moved in, things were great. I had no complaints the staff were friendly. Well during my 2nd year at the complex, they got bought out by the Connor group and started to renovate the complex. As soon as this transition happened, warning statements were given out left and right over minor situations that shouldnt raise the attention. Had numerous service calls because maintenance could never fix anything correctly. Upon leaving, They said the cost to replace the carpet and pad was $750 and I had a balance of $180. On top of that, I didnt even spend my last month in the apartment and i magically had a $60 water bill. This place is a rip off.
The Estates at New Albany had been a great place to live. Kelli with the property management has been polite, helpful and very personable! Her prompt response and persistence with customer service has been absolutely comforting! Its great to come home to a community where its good to know there are great people that still have good customer service skills and can relate to people!
I moved here by myself for a year while in college. The prices are reasonable for how spacious the rooms are and the location. Although, the traffic on hamilton road is horrendous. When I first moved in the entire room was spotless. The only trouble I had was with the windows not staying latched. Whenever something broke (which was almost never) they came the next day to fix it. The office staff is amazing, theyre all so nice and actually remember your name and where you live. Organized packaging room in the office. I never swam in the pool or used the fitness center but they look okay. Overall I loved this community, it was a good first place to live. The only reason I am moving is because of school. I would recommend anyone to live here.
I just moved to the Estates at New Albany from out of State. i am totally amazed at the service we have received... TOTALLY AWESOME STAFF!!! The neighborhood is nice and well maintained. Has a very friendy, competent and courteous staff.. who very quickly addressed and repaired all movin-in concerns. If I could give more than five stars... I most definitely would! More specifically... All staff has been helpful. But, I want to extend a special thanks to Lexi... she is awesome... very helpful and invaluable to the office staff!!! I also want to extend a special thenks to John and Patrick (Maintenance) who were also very competent, helpful and friendly. Moving here has been a very positive experience. I highy recommend Estates at New Albany with no hesitaton. TEN STARS!!!
We called and the same day we were shown 2 models to pick from to fit our needs. The apartments are clean, nice and very spacious. I love the dog trail where you can walk your dog and everything else that comes with the place. I love the school district and how close everything is to us.
We recently had a stressful move and the staff at the Estates has been wonderful. Kelli made the move in process easy and has always been able to answer my many questions. So far my family has had a wonderful experience. The three bedroom townhomes are spacious. One huge plus for my family are the three bathrooms. We moved from a house and we don’t feel like we are on top of each other. Keep up the good work.
I am a current resident of The Estates at New Albany and felt compelled to review my experience. It’s an outstanding place to live. They pick up my trash at my door 3 days a week! The units are built well and isolated well in a way that I have never heard my neighbors. Also, I love the area and that there’s a state park down the road. I recommend touring this community if you’re in the market.
The infrastructure in the apartment is good. Environment in the community is beautiful. Property manager is responsible and responsive. Maintenance is prompt. The community if friendly to pets. Shopping is convenient and many places to eat nearby. This is an amazing place to stay.
We moved in a week ago. The property is well maintained and well managed. The office staff is courteous and helpful.Trash pick up is three times a week, just leave the bag outside your front door and voila! This is great, no need to take anything to the dumpster. The pool looks great , we love it!All in all, we are happy that we live here!Jack A.Mulders
Ive lived for a year and plan to renew my lease but in a townhome. Old management was very nice and helpful. New management seems to be helpful but direct. Some ppl can handle that, some cant. Upgrades are needed definitely outside and inside and from my conversations with management, its in there plans. The location is ideal especially for the school district. What you are paying in rent definitely constitutes the school district and surroundings. Heard a lot of horror stories from being over charged when you move out. Will experience that in a couple months so crossing my fingers that management is up transparent in the condition of the apartment before I move and after. A walk through prior to is ideal. After all that I still give Estates of New Albany good marks if you need a 3 bedroom in this school district. Hoping to move on eventually with the same or higher marks.
We enjoyed our 4 years living here, great apartments for the cost and a friendly staff up front. New Albany schools which are great! Pool area has been upgraded with multiple grills and new chairs. The walking trail is amazing provided there is not dog doo everywhere, not the best pet owners here.
Update.I downgraded my review to one star. The main reason is the ridulous Residential Billing Services Fees, which add $1,200+ annually to the cost of renting here. Also, a lot of trashy people have moved in. My neighbors kids constantly left their bikes in the middle of the breezeway and their parents did nothing about it. They also left their trashcans out all week. The fitness center is a joke. I joined LA Fitness because the few cardio machines were overrun by obnoxious kids just in there messing aroundDespite what the entrance sign says, these are not luxury apartments. Now they want to upgrade my apartment and raise my rent by more than 15 percent or $1,800 a year. Bye bye, Estates. Im very happy at the Bradford.
I had an issue with my dryer not heating up. The maintenance guy John did a phenomenal job diagnosing and fixing the issue in a timely manner! While he worked, he was friendly and we had great convo about each others family! I would also like to extend my appreciation to Erica for contacting me. I didnt hear John at the door the first time and instead of them move on Erica called me and sent John back over! Greatly appreciate you.
I never post stuff like this but I would be doing others a disservice if I didnt warn them about this place. My family and I lived here for the last year and had the worst rental experience of our lives. The staff was friendly and approachable when we toured the place, but once we signed our lease it was like they totally changed. Be prepared to wait weeks for any maintenance issues. WEEKS. And rest assured you will have many maintenance issues. The management is so cold and rude. I made sure that my lease would allow me to go month-to-month after the first year to accommodate my work assignment. This was spelled out clearly in the lease I signed, but a few months before the first year was up they tried to get me to renew for another year. When I brought up the month-to-month clause with Erica, the office manager, and even showed it to her she totally balked and said they dont do month-to-month leases. When I argued my point she made up some BS excuse for what that language meant. Finally she said that the summer months were just too lucrative for them to accommodate a month-to-month lease. She gave me the number for the property owner Saul, who never returned or answered any calls. Basically they care more about signing new leases than providing quality service to their current tenants. The place is so massively overpriced its seriously dumbfounding. The rent is nowhere near appropriate for the quality that you get. Be prepared to pay $75/month to use a dumpster. A DUMPSTER! Theres only 2 in the whole complex and they charge $75/month to use it. They also charge $30/mo for their terrible trash valet which you conveniently cant opt out of. Overall I was paying around $150/mo for water, sewer and trash, which is so much more than Ive ever paid in my life, even way more than when I owned a home previously. Ive never been nickled and dimed so much in my entire life. I honestly lie awake at night with so much rage at what this place gets away with. I legitimately question whether the other people whove given this place good reviews actually exist because every one of my neighbors was constantly complaining. Every friend weve made within the year we were here has either moved or is in the process of moving. Please, for the love of all that is holy, run away from this place. Run away while you still have a chance.
Great place under new management. We recently sold our home and needed somewhere to be for 12 months until we could find our forever home. My wife and I were very impressed with the amenities of the property and the nice layout of the townhouse we selected. The new management is visibly putting resources to good use in improving the exterior of the community. The interior was clean and suitable for what we needed. The townhouse layouts are very good. We would definitely recommend this place to others AND they have vacancies. 43230 zip and New Albany schools, just minutes from Easton and pretty central to New Albany and Gahanna areas.
I love living at the Estates at New Albany. Its a big and clean apartments. What I truly like that my 3 bedroom apartment balcony its in front of the kids park that it belongs to the apartment complex. The apartment is big and the pool is very clean. The staff is amazing and friendly
To start, I must say we’ll done! This summer has been so busy with having a newborn and suddenly needing to change locations. (What a whirlwind). We initially started with Erica (she no longer works at the estates but there is a new Erica) who was incredibly sweet and did everything she could to make sure we would have a smooth transition into the estates. Secondly, my husband and I met Stacie and I have to say, wow. She was extremely Helpful and understanding when it was time for my family and I to move in. Basically, the initial apartment my husband and I anticipated had to be changed but Stacie made sure to make that process as easy as possible- so graceful. She owned the entire process from beginning to end and that is what excellent customer service looks like. We are truly grateful!
My husband and I were looking at places to rent that had New Albany schools as our house is being built. This place had the worst facilities we have ever seen and staff was rude and not friendly. The workout room was run down but the bathrooms were disgusting! This place should be condemned by the city. Really filthy and this is for the pool and gym users to use.The pool looked like it was being worked on and garbage cans all over property in kids playground and walking paths looked like they hadn’t been emptied in months. The worst was the property manager. Rude, uptight and pretentious! Every question we asked was met with a confrontation response. She is just not the right person you want representing any property. So unprofessional and makes for an even worse experience at this place.
This is year 3 that I live here in a 2 bedroom 2nd floor. If I could move today I would. They promised all these upgrades since they were increasing the rent but the upgrades are tacky or less than professional to say the least. They claim they have contractor they work with for the upgrades they don’t just their own property maintenance. My air conditioner has not worked properly all summer but I’m told there is nothing wrong how can that be when my temperature gauge is set at 68 but it never gets that cool. I’m told I need to not have my blinds drawn don’t run your dryer. How can I live like this when I pay rent but have limitations on what I can do in my apartment. Oh and the management staff where do I begin they are so unprofessional and unsympathetic it is ridiculous. They don’t care. I work in management and I would never treat them how they treat me. If you have an issue, maintenance request you will wait days or even weeks for a response. The place is not worth the money and the amount they charge for trash is ridiculous more than if you lived in a house even paying the city of New Albany. Please make sure you think long and hard before moving here as it is not worth the money or the hassle. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and you would think it would be nice since it is in the New Albany school district but if you asking my opinion I would not move here. I am embarrassed to say I live here.
So far the community has been great. Every time I put in a work order it has been completely quickly. Its also super nice that you just sit out your trash. I was surprised to see they took a large TV box. Syd is new to the location but has been very helpful with my silly questions!
Update 12/2018: The longer we live here, the more downhill it seems to go. High turnover in the office and I never talk to the same associate twice. We have asked the office questions or tried to convey information with no record on their end of doing so. Maintenance now takes absolutely forever; we are still waiting on requests to be filled from almost 4 months ago and from our movein sheet with multiple follow ups with the office. Communication is poor which may come from hugh office turnover. We always seem to be told something different by different associates whenever we have questions or concerns. We finally got the unit updates but they were installed poorly and incompletely. The patch jobs of the removal of previous fixtures and counters look awful with open holes and edges around appliances. The interactions i have had with the property manager, Kim, have been mostly unsatisfactory. Theres no discussion with her; she cuts you off and talks over you to repeat the same thing over and over at you. Very unprofessional and uncaring of longer term residents. Other ladies in the office have been friendly but somewhat unknowledgeable, probably due to always having new staff.Upate as of 3/8: Kelli is no longer with the company. My roommate and I have enjoyed living here these past few months. Minimal maintenance issues and the maintenance team has been prompt on most of them. However, the renewal process was almost like a kick in the teeth. They scheduled a meeting called a 90-day walkthrough with a vague description and then told us there would be a $200 increase and only 3 days to decide to renew at that price. Past that day, it would go up another $100. We were blind sided and scrambling to figure things out. The renewal process could be handled much better. My experience so far has been pretty great! The buildings are older (90s built) but are still in great shape....very spacious townhouses with quiet adjoining walls! There are significantly more children living in the community than expected but all is well so far! Kelli in the office has been the most helpful property manager and is always willing to help; shes got your back if you rent with her! Cant wait to see the property updates!
We just moved in and so far we couldnt be happier! The office staff has been very helpful and great to work with. The apartment is great with many features you cant find in other complexes. We cant wait for warmer weather so we can enjoy the walking tails, pool, and Blendon Woods.
The area in general is nice. There is a state park nearby, stores, restaurants. The one main issue I believe Estates at New albany can improve on are the following. 1. They have an insane charge for trash services, I am paying $49 a month. 2. $19.99 Valet trash service I could not get out of. Not sure why i should be forced to pay to take out my own trash. Finally, I have yet to see the actual usage of water and electricity in the utility bills I receive.

2022-03-19My roommate Teal and I just moved in this past month and truly have loved our experience! Dakota our leasing agent helped us throughout the entire move in process and can truly not say enough positive things to say about the office staff and the community! The area is incredible and so convenient to honestly everything in Columbus! The Estates at New Albany outdoor facility and green space across the property sold me as soon as we toured, my dogs are going to enjoy the nature trail and the fenced in dog park! I have lived in several communities and apartments but have never been this excited and have been treated this great until now! Applause to the company for the exceptional service and beautiful community! My balcony is also something we can’t wait to enjoy! I also can’t wait to relax in my garden tub (also a major selling point) as well as my HUGE walk in closet!

2022-03-19I honestly am so excited to live here at the Estates at New Albany, I ultimately decided to live here because of the incredible customer service and the gorgeous apartments! My apartment has so much natural light (see photos) and it is so spacious and very open! Dakota has been nothing but incredible throughout my entire renting and move in process! I highly recommend this community plus the area convenience is next level, Easton is close, Polaris, and downtown is not to far at all! I truly am so excited, also the nature trail and green space they have is better than any place I have ever lived! My roommate Maysie and I are so excited to stay here for a few years!

2021-08-31I really cant recommend the Estates at New Albany enough due to one employee: Dakota. If youre looking for an apartment here, I highly recommend asking for Dakota to work with. He was incredibly helpful and genuinely engaged with me and my spouse the entire time I leased at the Estates. He was attentive to my family needs and was always incredibly professional. We felt so confident and comfortable with Dakota that we even leased this property sight unseen when moving in from out of state during the height of the pandemic. The move in process was seemless and incredibly welcoming. Throughout our entire stay I couldnt have asked for a better point of contact to manage payments, concerns, and even just general questions. Were there any there issues during our time at the Estates? Of course, but nothing more than you would expect living in a nicely kept, family-living apartments always VERY minor. And when they did come up, Dakota nipped it in the bud.Dakota crushes it. Ask for him.

2022-01-28I cannot wait to move into our new apartment home here at the Estates, I picked up keys today and my apartment is gorgeous and HUGE. It was the biggest one we looked at in the area and fell in love with the community and the office staff is incredible. Dakota has made this move the most enjoyable and least stressful thing ever. We can’t wait for our family to grow here and be here for long time. Not to mention the beautiful community and the convenient location to anything and everything you need! You won’t regret moving here!

2022-05-12I just went for a tour of these apartments. The apartments are very nice and they seem to be worth the price listed on the website. However, the person who took me on the tour, Jess, might as well have been a car sales man. She told me the rent was different than what the website listed and priced me almost $200 a month more than what the website had stated. I felt very pressured and rushed throughout the process. She said if I did not have an answer by the end of the business day then the rent will go up $200 more dollars. The application/admin fee for these apartments is $500 so watch out! I have never been to an apartment complex that can negotiate their own prices for rent. I had my boyfriend call her later that day and she backtracked her words and said she can hold that lower price for a couple more days (after speaking with her supervisor). Definitely do not tell these people your budget! Or low ball it. Jess was nice but very pushy and pulling the rent price out of the air so beware.
