We are extremely happy we chose EMI for our landscaping/snow removal needs. From our initial meeting, we found them to be very professional and easy to work with. Whether through email or phone, it was always very easy to get in contact with them. Their price is very comparable to other landscape companies and snow removal costs are actually less than our previous landscaping company. They went above and beyond with cleaning up the entire property from debris. Its amazing how simple mowing and clean-up, can totally change your landscape. They worked diligently to make sure our parking lot is clear and safe for our customers during the winter months.Thanks again EMI! EMI is doing a great job in our Patio Home sub-division - The Glens at Ballantrae. They took over the water sprinkling system and corrected the major issues immediately. Garrod, the EMI Tech, spent 12 hours on a very hot day this week and did not leave until the sprinkler system was back up and running. Thank You, keep up the great work EMI!!Creighton & Jamis were out yesterday and set up our sprinkler system for success. Great Job Guys!
They do my apartment complex and when they did leaf removal they completely covered my car with debris because they didnt clear what was around my vehicle by hand. And when I approached them about it and just politely told them to please be more careful next time they just said every car is like that when my car was the only one covered in debris. If you value your stuff dont hire these unprofessional hacks.
EMI does great work and their Westerville crew represents the company well. Theyve transformed our walkways leading into our building from a jungle to a beautifully manicured entrance! And despite the 90°F temps outside they work with a smile and provide a wave and a hello as to us as were heading in the door. EMI was a good choice for us and well pass their name along for services in the future. Keep up the great work & professionalism!
On Monday, May 18th my husband and I were driving with our 15 month old son in the car. As we were passing through a traffic light an employee in a large EMI vehicle ran through a red light and almost smashed into the side of our vehicle. This occurred on route 23 N and Lazelle road. We were driving in the right and lane and had to swerve across all 3 south bound lanes and into oncoming traffic to avoid being hit by the driver. Thank goodness there were no cars in the oncoming lane at that exact moment. We attempted to get back into the right hand land after this near collision and the driver zoomed up and would not let us over. Once we got over he road our bumper. I’m not sure if this people was drunk, high, or texting on their phone but the clearly weren’t paying attention at all when they ran the red light, which almost resulted in my 15 month old son being seriously injured or killed. I immediately called the office and spoke to a receptionist who took my name and number and then rushed me off the phone. I never heard back from the office, so I have no idea whether they took my complaint seriously or not. Please DO NOT support this company, and if you see one of their vehicles on the road stay FAR AWAY!
We had Camden, Charles and Alvero out today and these guys did an awesome job. We had out of control bushes and shrubs. Guys worked quickly and efficiently even in this smothering heat. Our property looks incredible and we appreciate your hard work. Thank you guys so much!
Not sure if you’re aware but you all have a truck that literally blows black smoke the entire time it’s being driven... I just saw it on 270 going west towards Dublin ... not very environmentally friendly if you ask me
When we purchased our historic home in Victorian Village, it need a lot of care both inside and out. After renovating the house and building a carriage house, we turned to the task of landscape design. We called in Dennis Karem from EMI because we had worked with Dennis at our prior home. Dennis developed a site plan that we was compatible to the home and our new carriage house which we then submitted to the Victorian Village Commission (architectural design review). The plan honored the historic nature of our house, its location on Columbus Neil Avenue and also our desires for how to use the property. The great thing about the plan and working with EMI is that we were able to implement it in phases, which helped us from a budgetary standpoint.EMI did an outstanding job installing the hardscape and plant materials. They moved an existing tree and installed all the large trees, bushes and shrubs. Dennis consulted with us on other appropriate plantings for a perennial garden, which we have had fun installing and maintaining. We have had several issues arrise now that the landscape is becoming more mature - mainly due to storm damage. EMI was there to help us restore portions of the landscape that were dammaged by wind and falling trees and it looks just as beautiful as ever. We frequently receive compliments on the gardens, landscape and hardscape and have had our home featured on the Columbus Recreation & Parks Open Garden Tour as well as the Short North Civic Association Tour of Homes.I cant say enough about EMI, Dennis Karem and all of the EMI associates that have assisted us over the years. They are true professionals and do outstanding work with great attention to detail. We continue to invite them back to assist with maintenance from time to time and have recommended them to a number of friends and neighbors.
I have been in Property Management for over 20 years in the Columbus Ohio area.Throughout my career, I have been acquainted with serveral different companies that made the decision on whom they used as a landscape provider for their properties. I was introduced to EMI in 1995 just a few years after they started business here in Columbus. As a Regional Manager I was responsable to insure that all properties look their best at all times, throughout the year.Once I had choosen EMI they always provided my properties with the best service and quality for our landscaping needs. Presentation is a high priority in this business and the landscaping is the first and last thing customers see when deciding where to live. I have always received prompt, professional and personal service from all EMI employees all year around. This is a company that only holds high standards and quality work behind their name.

This company does poor work the rush through sometimes cuts gras sometimes not! Trimming is not done hardly at all! Would not recommend this company!
We contracted with this company to do snow removal. All the paper work and approvals were done ahead of time so as it could be planned out. They showed up and plowed the lots on saturday to open the streets, and have not been back, have called and emailed them for help. No return call or email. Use catuion when dealing with them, they do not provice good service after the sale.2-5-14 service,HUGE IMPROVEMENTS THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HARD WORK ON THIS SNOW FALL!!!!!! We have 5 of wet snow and considering the volume of it, you guys did a bang up job, THANK YOU

Would Never recommend this place for anything, Poor Quality of employees, they All need drug reviews, poor quality, this company is just using whatever kimd of employees to pass their production and drug tests, that is a sad state of what what america has come to , to keep low lifes in their working force, while taking advantage of customers, Rate companny and most employees of Low Standard!!
One of your idiot drivers almost ran me off the freeway today, look over before you get over it simple and the idiot didn’t even notice he kept driving. I don’t know why people with truck feel entitled on the freeway when it’s snowing and feel like they can do anything.

2022-05-24Our Condo Association hired EMI at the beginning of 2022, and shortly thereafter, a major snowstorm hit Central Ohio. Within hours, EMI was on site making sure the main street was plowed and snow removed from the driveways by the next morning. Once Spring arrived, the grass was neatly trimmed and all of the flower beds outlined so that our common areas looked like a lush carpet. We are so proud of our community, and EMI certainly has contributed to that sense of pride. Well done, Team EMI!

2021-08-27Scott, Hector, and Carlos just completed the fountain renovation project at the community Memorial Park. The design and execution is exactly what I had in mind. I appreciate the time everyone put in this from start to finish. It was a team effort, but I must give an extra shout out to Hector and Carlos. They did an outstanding job working through the project, making proper adjustments to the existing structure, maintaining a safe and clean work space, and most important they were very polite and professional.

2022-05-23We have worked with EMI for some time now but last fall, installed a completely new landscape around our offices. They created the design and it looks amazing! Also, they took the time to go over with me the upkeep and have assisted with maintaining the look of the beds and planters to keep them looking beautiful! Great company to work with!

2022-05-30Our condo association contracts with EMI on landscaping and snow removal. 2022 is our first year with EMI, and I can say with confidence it was a great decision! The employees and teams are friendly, responsive, and the landscaping is simply amazing. The care they take with mulching, edging, cutting, planting, and overall maintenance is top notch. Our community looks fabulous, and I cannot thank EMI enough! Highly recommend, they are pros.

2022-02-04I am thoroughly impressed with EMI. They do our snow removal and lawn care. The communication through a snow storm alone is the best I’ve dealt with. As a facilities manager you are constantly being asked for information during a storm. EMI’s approach and Jason Hall’s email communication is the best I’ve ever seen. 2022-05-27These guys do the landscaping in Dublin Village condos and they have cut down my plants in my flower bed multiple times over the past couple of years. I have even put wire fencing around the plants and they RIPPED OUT the fencing to get at the plants to cut down. I tell to stop but they act like they don’t speak English and giggle and walk away. Most unprofessional company on the planet. I can’t wait to move and get away from these dopes.
