Enterprise Rent-A-Car in other cities:
Really I have bad experience in this location and it should change all the manager over there because the manager there lie and Plying geme with customer and always all the car needs service I go to change the vehicle because I have long trip this doesn’t want help me It’s have to many car available in the location 1/27/2022 3pm
I want to give a big shout out to National Rental Car. I had flew into BWI airport and rented a car for a week, then within two days of having car I ended up testing positive for Covid ( No fault of National ), and was sick and in the hospital one a month. I was worried that I was not going to be able to return the car and gain outrageous fees. After getting in contact with National and advising of the situation. National was very empathic and understood my situation and took real good care of me. I want to publicly say Thank You, and will always continue to use your service.
I picked up after a late flight and was greeted with quick, friendly and knowledgeable Enterprise employees. Return is done by non-company employees I think and it was a little sour.. without a greeting I was questioned about a dent the car had and didnt get a chance to provide information about gas use before finalizing my drop off. However at the counter, Enterprise employees apologized and assisted. Traveling to a new city and airport can bring a lot of uncertainty and there are so many options these days but I will DEFINITELY stay loyal to Enterprise with future trips.
Son rented, left my ez pass in the car and instead of calling us when they found it, they threw it in a box with others and you have to have the serial number to look for it, I had to cancel my service and order a new one. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!! And they dont answer the phone. Had to drive 45 minutes back to find out the above. 1 star only because there is not a 0 star!!!!!!
My overall experience with Hertz has been terrible at best. During our trip from Texas to Ohio, we received a car that would not start up once we turned it off (and because of that we were stuck in Whitehouse, Tennessee). We paid for roadside assistance but no one answered the phone when we tried to call them. We called Customer Service multiple times, and stayed on the line for more than an hour, but they did not answer the phone either. Plus, the one time they did answer, they were no help when we wanted to switch cars, and when wanted to find a Hertz location in Ohio, they sent us to a location that DIDNT EXIST!!! The only reason why my experience wasnt a zero (and besides the fact that Google wont let me post zero stars) is because we received excellent customer service from Scott (manager of the Cleveland Ohio Airport location). He was able to get us a different car, remove the roadside assistance from our plan and was extremely helpful of getting us to our final destination. My overall experience was dreadful and I will never rent from Hertz again. But I wanted to personally thank Scott for his attentiveness and patience with us. Piece of professional advice...If Hertz wants to continue to stay in business, they first need to ANSWER THEIR PHONES!
I have rented from several Enterprise locations and will never use them again. The employees are lazy and not helpful. I left an item in the car (distinct item) and tried calling the branch (within 30 minutes of turning the car in). The associate from a different location told me he was transferring me to the branch and was cut off. I called back a little bit later and another associate told me that he could not transfer me because the branch does not have a direct line. I drove to the branch with my rental agreement and asked them to look for it. I gave them all of the details down to where the item would be in the car. I was told they could not look for it until I submit a claim and it would be easier to locate it with a claim. All of the details I provided would be more helpful than submitting a claim. They refused to look and used every excuse in the books. It was my fault for leaving it, but the customer service and unwillingness to help was absurd. Just pure laziness.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I worked at Enterprise for 2 years and I know the standard for customer service and that was not displayed on this night. After a long day of traveling there is no reason that I should have to wait 40minutes for a MT to even acknowledge that I am standing there. There was no sense of urgency, or anything. This is sad, I expected more from Enterprise.
Waaaaay disappointed this time around with Enterprise. The young lady was a little rude. I gave her my drivers license and my card. She then turned around and asked me for a second form of identification. Ive been renting cars with Enterprise for OVER 20 years. I know if you use a debit card at the airport you have to have a returning flight. I showed her my returning flight and she still asked for another form. I asked her when did they start doing that. She said just recently. The couple in front of me used a debit card as well and you didnt ask for another form of ID. Why? She didnt say anything. When I asked to speak to a manager her reply was Im going to approve it this time, but the next time you will need to show two picture forms of ID and a debit card. Maybe if you had a credit card I wouldnt of asked for another form. If I didnt need the car for work I would of canceled my damn reservation. Ill NEVER go to that Enterprise again. As a matter of fact Ill never rent from Enterprise again. Ill take my business, my family and friends business (cause Im definitely letting everyone know the racial profiling I experienced yesterday) right on over to Avis and Budget. My job does a lot of business with Enterprise.. matter of fact we Have a contract with Enterprise and Ill be sure to tell them NOT to book with Enterprise ever again!
Gentleman behind the counter was not very friendly. Robotic almost. You could tell he was agitated to stop be there. Unfortunately, when flights are delayed, so will everything else be. Was actually rude to my father who was standing behind me as I was finishing up my rental agreement. Also, given a real POS vehicle. When I went in to complain, gentleman was gone.
Not great experience car that was rented had problems with tires. Was able to swap out while on vacation and started back home and tire pressure warning came up this car about 2 hrs into the ride. Kept having to stop for air. Called to report was going to be late coming back, no notes put in and had problems checking car back in and being charged extra. Was able to eventually have charge fixed. Car rental return for airport not able to easily navigate at night in the rain. Lighting and signage not good. Just not a good experience.
It is rather confusing on how to get there. You have to take a shuttle. The shuttle is free. The layout on the building is a little confusing as well.I was told by the cashier that we could pick our car. That seemed very exciting to me. Then the cashier said he would be right back and picked the car for us. I was not too excited about that because the car he picked would not fit my brothers suitcase and mine. So everywhere we went we had to have his suitcase and visibility in the back seat. I was not exactly excited about that. In addition I know the Enterprise likes to walk around the car with you to know any type of damage and scratches done to the vehicle. That did not occur either. We were just told its outside. When we got to the car it had lots of scratches. So we went back inside and asked them to document it and they told us to tell the guard shack attendant when we left. It just didnt seem right, plus I didnt want to be accused of any damage to the vehicle that I didnt do for sure.Customer service could have been more reliable.
Enterprise personal are always professional and courteous. Depending on the time of day and day of the week, which goes for all of the rental car companies, determines if they have a car for you that you originally booked. However, with that in mind, Enterprise personnel have consistently tried to accommodate me with a comparable vehicle or an upgrade. Unfortunately, most upgrades cost more and that is a choice that has to be made by you. Cleanliness of the vehicles varies by location and changes every time. Better prices seem to be consistent for vehicles at Enterprise compared to other companies. Models are not consistent, just had a King Ranch F150 in Tennessee, loaded, compared to a bare bones F150 in Southern California. Models and options should be consistent across the world, no bare bones vehicles.
Excellent customer service. Chris greeted me in the parking lot and worked with me to find a car that met my standards. Even when we had car trouble while traveling out of state, calling the roadside assistance went well and my car was able to be switched out at an Enterprise office in the city I was visiting. Return with Jeff went smoothly and he was able to adjust my total accordingly due to the mechanical issues we had with the first vehicle.Overall, even having experienced issues, I am extremely happy with the level of care and genuine friendliness of all the staff I dealt with during this rental period.
The young man that took care of us very kind and helpful. He totally understood why we wanted to rent a vehicle that was similar to what we drive after my SUV was rear ended and was going to need to repairs. The SUV we got was new and super clean. Fast friendly service! I highly recommend them
We got a really nice vehicle for a very good price. The staff was efficient and professional in their work. They were not overly friendly , but they were helpful. It was very easy to get from the airport to the car rental place and back using their shuttle service. We did not have to wait very long at any point of the way. The shuttle drivers were very good to take the luggage and put it onto the shuttle then take it out from the shuttle.
Great service. Very nice car, no complaints at all. Check-in was very easy and quick. The return directions were confusing. Four left turns!! Once I figured that out, it was a smooth and quick process. No need to return to the rental desk. Highly recommend Enterprise. It’s the only rental company I use.
The Amherst location almost ruined our trip by not having our van as promised. And by not communicating to us of issues about getting it. Lied to us and didnt care about helping to resolve problem. The trip was delay 4 hours while we waited for van and it never showed up. We had to go to Cleveland location and that is where great customer service was achieved. Got a great van rental and the staffed cared about our needs. If possible dont go to Amherst location.
I booked through the AAA site, Enterprise had MUCH better rates! My experience from the counter to returning the car was excellent. Very kind and polite. They walked with me to pick my car, helped carry my bags, and made sure car was in great condition before I drove away.upon returning, I was greeted by the customer service coming to my car, making sure I had no problems and again was very kind.I will definitely rent from them again!I also was very pleased they offered Ford cars as options, as my son works for Ford and we are familiar with them. It makes an easier transition.
I have been renting from Enterprise for over 15 years. I have come across some great, and not so great associates. I was told about 2 years ago that the company would be standardizing its policies. Two weeks ago I obtained a vehicle from a local location and everything was as expected. When I rented from the airport this past weekend there was a $200 hold plus 20% of the new total. This seems excessive when compared to the other operators at the airport. I dont mind paying for exceptional service if that is what I am receiving; however my pick up and return were far from exceptional this trip.
Reserved a car online from colorado. According to the website I was good to go.I get to the rental place to pickup my reservation and I couldnt because they didnt accept the major credit card that I had and according to their sign debit cards are welcome with a return flight itinerary however, they dont tell you that doesnt apply if you have an Ohio i.d.Bad customer service.
Enterprise has always been my go to for car rentals, unfortunately this time they failed me big time. Any time I make a reservation online it has let me know if it is after hours. This time it didn’t say it was after hours. I had a late flight and arrived at 10:30. There was no one at the enterprise booth and there was only one line for a different rental company. As I stood in line at the other place a couple people that worked for enterprise came out to the desk so I went over. The gentleman told me that they closed early due to Covid and he was unable to get me a car. I’m not sure what they expect people to do when they fly into another state and need a rental car to get to their destination an hour away. After standing in line for the other rental company for an hour I was told they could not rent me a car, as they were running low on inventory and I didn’t have a reservation with them. I understand there is a pandemic going on but there are enough people flying in that it is necessary for them to better communicate with loyal customers who have a reservation. A $120 Uber ride later and I arrived at my destination without a car. So disappointing. Step up your game enterprise. There’s lots of other companies to rent cars from. I’ll give 3 stars since this is my first bad experience with them after many rentals.
Brian at the counter was very easy to work with. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly while answering any questions I had.The gentleman outside greeted me quickly to show me to my vehicle and to make sure that it was suitable to my liking and needs. He also took the time to explain things thoroughly and professionally; great attitudes all around at this location. My 2018 Nissan Maxima rental was clean and well cared for inside and out. Interior smell was clean also; huge plus!
Employees are super nice and friendly, get you in and out of a car quickly so youre not wasting time standing around. My concern is when I request a four door car, and there are no options except for a convertible (in February... driving to Detriot...) or being forced to pay for an upgrade, that is unacceptable. Enterprise should be automatically providing that upgrade for free if they cannot provide the car I requested well in advance. Going to consider avoiding your services in the future, because that left a sour taste in my mouth.
Horrible Customer Service!I recently rented a car from Enterprise at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport. The tall Enterprise employee that greeted me when I arrived at the desk in the parking lot was not friendly! He looked up my reservation and walked me to my assigned car. After he watched me load all my luggage into the back of the vehicle he then proceeded to tell me it was the wrong car! I then struggled to unload all my luggage and walk across the parking lot to another car. Same thing happened. Finally when he found me the correct car I loaded my luggage in and was not pleased. I then drove to the exit to leave the Rental center at the airport. Once I was in the car and getting settled and exiting the center I noticed a car that was tailgating me very closely... It was the Enterprise guy! He was either relocating a car or leaving for the day but he proceeded to tailgate me the entire way out the the rental center then sped past me to the employee exit! Road Rage! I happened to be returning my rental car at a different location and I mentioned to the agent upon returning the car that the Enterprise employee at the airport location was unprofessional when I picked up the car. She could careless and proceeded to charge me for an entire tank of gas! Once I saw the receipt I told her that I just filled the tank with gas minutes before I pulled in the Enterprise parking lot for the return. She went to the vehicle again and I pointed out to her how to read the gas gauge. She had no clue! She corrected my bill and I left! Never again! You cant blame this on Covid-19 because it was purely horrible customer service! I am never using Enterprise again! What an bad experience!
Two things they ought to do1.Clean the car prior to renting it out2. check the cycle of when the oil needs changing my last rental displayed a message oil needs changing in (230) miles that to me is a concern. I knew I was going to be traveling at least (450) more miles to return my rental.Am picking up a rental Friday evening I hope these 2 matters are of no concern because that is not the kind of service one should expect from you. Your staff on the other hand where great.
The staff was very helpful. The issues I had were the following: car had a very strong smell of cigarette; the company billboard at the Return Car section was very dim and not visible at 4:30 am which caused me to drive around 3 times; it would have been helpful if the staff explained or pointed out the where to drop off the car and where the entrance for Enterprise return area.
The guys in the check out were fantastic and very accommodating. We arrived over an our late and it was past 1 am. The crew stayed late past teir normal closing time to make sure we got our vehicle and and they had good attitudes to boot. Great friendly service and they followed up the next day to make sure all was going smooth. Easy in and out. Vehicle was clean and in great condition.
Worse Enterprise ever.No rental car agency should ever close before the last bird of the night lands. Unfortunately my flight lands after midnight and still have an hour trip to my final destination, worse yet when attempting to rent a replacement at our final destination they denied us the option to drop off at the airport. Horrible will never fly into location ever again.
I dont rent a car very often, so my experience is somewhat limited, but I have been impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of Enterprise every time I do rent a car. The reservation process is easy and user-friendly, the car I was promised is always available when it should be, and when I do have an issue (e.g., the trunk isnt big enough for my familys luggage), Enterprise usually gives me a free upgrade. I appreciate the consistency and reliability Enterprise offers customers like me.
Smooth sailing for the whole experience! We had to wait a little longer to pick up our car only because the couple in front of us had some sort of problem they were trying to sort out (which didn’t seem to be Enterprise’s fault lol). Our car smelled a little like cigarette smoke but that didn’t bother us too much. Super easy drop off process as well. Would rent here again!
Great place to rent a car. Customer has always been exceptional. I have been here 5 times in the last two months and the staff has always gone out of their way to assist me with a preference of my car. This is certainly expected from the number 1 car rental company in the world and they have done everything possible to make me feel as welcomed as possible. The staff members that assisted me with great customer service and deserve recognition for their good work are: Bruno, Mike and Mike (there are two Mikes that work here and both have provided superb customer service, along with Bruno). Sorry I dont know the last names of these gentlemans but they certainly deserve recognition for their exceptional hospitality and customer service. I will definitely keep renting from this location as many times as I come here and recommend you all to do the same.
Car i reserved in Cleveland was not available, so representative immediately apologized and gave us wonderful upgrade and service with a smile...Could not imagine a better transaction and started our trip on a very positive note. Great people, great staff well trained and polite to a fault. Car was perfect and entire trip was 5/5 star quality.. i will continue to be an Enterprise premium member
The staff is top-notch, but the management of vehicles leaves much to be desired. Ive flown in a few times, and though its a popular airport you have to learn how to keep quality of vehicles while scaling. My car had a passenger headrest that was reversed, and the entire car was covered in pet hair which left me sneezing. I told the customer rep who discounted the car (though I was not looking for that) and I only wanted them to be aware for future clients who may not be as forgiving. It did not disrupt my trip since I was the sole driver, but if I would have had passengers I would have been embarrassed to let anyone in the car. The rating is for attention to the need to ensure each car is properly cleaned and maintained.
Everything with Enterprise was easy. From the booking on line to the check in and return, it was very efficient. We were in Cleveland for the weekend and rented the car at the airport. We spent very little time waiting in line. There was an agent outside ready to show us to our car. When we left the lot we were greeted by name at the toll gate. Drop off was super fast and convenient. Definitely recommend Enterprise!
Great team there at Cleveland airport. Dakota and I think Mike (manager) were very accommodating. My car was not available so they gave me a choice of upgrades. They were quick and the best service I could ask for. They really turned me into a loyal customer and Enterprise will be my first choice in my travels. Thanks Dakota and Mike !Alex
The service here is excellent! We rented a minivan and it has less than 1500 miles on it and was impeccably clean. The agent had it brought up front, running and the heat on and warmed up! Both pickup and drop off were smooth. This location had the best customer service and organization out of all rental places I have used. I will be a repeat customer.
Car was dirty inside when picked up. Even noted by associate when he went to get my car, presumed he got it cleaned. No, I regret not thoroughly checking inside with him, like we reviewed outside for dents. They advertise that car will be clean and I took their word on it! Had to take 45 minutes when got home to clean, wipe down, sticky seats, etc, but also had to vacuum extensively. It wasnt clean by pre covid standards, but certainly not clean given a pandemic. Not the plan as I was busy preparing for a trip, not only an inconvenience, but a health concern for my family. On hold 45 minutes when called to advise, had to go thur reservations, because really no customer service number. Person from customer service escalation was supposed to send me 3 free days to compensate. Never received, so I will have to spend more time on phone! In general after cleaning, car was fine, mini van, met my family traveling needs and the cost was competitive when I booked reservation.
If you want to be treated like a mark, go to Enterprise at the Cleveland Airport. As usual, we were greeted by a representative who wanted to be “your best friend”, but it turned out that he only wanted to provide us with subpar service. He went over our rental agreement and showed us 2 cars parked next to each other. One was very small and then a larger one. Of course, we selected the larger car. Noticing that all the windows were rolled down but not thinking much about it. However, once on the road it was clear why. The car had been treated, very poorly, for a smoker. The “scent” was slight but very noticeable. Also, once we were above 50MPH, there was a faint sound of either a wheel bearing or knot in a tire. Due to commitments we drove for about 2 hours before stopping. The car sat in the hot sun for 3 hours. When we reentered the car, the smokiness was significantly more pronounced. Unfortunately, we were a great distance from the Airport. When I called Enterprise for assistance, they said I could turn in the car along our route, but we would be charged a drop off charge. So, we were stuck with the car. Meanwhile, the knot or wheel bearing sound became noticeably louder indicating that it was becoming worse. At turn in I voiced my displeasure with how we had been treated like a mark. They definitely knew the car had odor problems and to mask it opened all the windows so we would not notice it. Also, they parked next to a much smaller car to entice us to select it. The person that checked us in was very apologetic and sent an assistant manager to talk to us. He essentially disavowed any responsibility for knowing the condition of the car which was disturbing. He finally asked what could be done to “make it right”. I said giving us credit for a day or two would go a long way. He said he would do this and also have his manager call us. Neither of which happened. Which goes to my point of being treated as a mark – say anything, promise anything and send the “mark” along their way, but do not hold to your commitment or make it right. Instead, I had to go to Enterprise Corporate for assistance.
My friends and I rented a car from Enterprise to travel to Chicago for the weekend. Everyone was very accommodating and very friendly. The process was very smooth and efficient and we were able to get our car within 10 minutes of arriving at the location. Also Mike was very friendly and helped us to choose an amazing car and even remembered us from when we rented a car for a road trip 2 months back. I would definitely recommend the Enterprise at this location and my friends and I will continue to come back the next time we take a road trip!
Recently I had a family emergency that required me to drive out of state. I was a little low on cash and unsure of my options. Someone suggested renting a car instead of doing maintenance on mine in preparation for the trip. What an incredible idea it turned out to be. I own a truck and although I love driving it, the cost for gas on a trip can be a bit much. I found that for the trip I could rent a smaller car and put gas in it for half the price it would cost me just for fueling my truck. On top of that, it was easy as can be to rent a vehicle. Every employee I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. From the person at the kiosk all the way to the employee handling the return of my vehicle. They made my experience incredible. My family matter has made it that I need to travel out of state once a month. Now that I have found Enterprise I have less worries and a little more money in my pocket.
The Lady that attended to us was very helpful. At the time of making the reservation selecting a 4 wheel drive truck was not an option. Once we arrived at the counter she was able to help us get the truck that we needed for a reasonable price. Return went very smoothly as well. The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt. No issues experienced.
Sorry everyone, I posted this review before realizing that the location was wrong. I rented a car at the Hopkins Airport rental center. This review is for Dollar, not Enterprise. Rented short term and found a good deal here with Dollar. Cleveland airport location. Wasnt sure how long I would need to keep the car (my car being repaired) so I chose two days. Selected a compact to save money and had my choice of seven or eight cars. Was able to find an American made car - Ford Fiesta. Turns out my car was fixed in less than a day. When I returned their vehicle the staff worked with me to avoid a $25 early return fee so I ended up paying $36, which may seem high for a one day rental of a pretty small car, but still left me feeling like I got a fair price. Thanks to the Dollar staff member for explaining and helping me avoid that $25 charge, which people should be aware of when choosing to rent a car. Not sure if all rental agreements include this but be aware that Dollar does.
Enterprise is by far the best rental car company today. They are always so friendly and efficient. Getting my car never takes more than 15 min. My only request is that made develop a program where your bonus points can turn into dollar towards a down payment for a car purchase.
For the cost of the van I would have expected a more modern set up. The van was a Dodge Grand Caravan, however the phone system was quite antiquated and difficult to use. None of the phone charging plugs were working either through the cigarette lighter or the USB ports. We had a phones plugged in for driving for 6-8 hours in different plugs with no increase on any phone. On the plus side there was plenty of room and the van had luggage racks which were nice to have. Mileage was good.
I am a loyal Enterprise customer but I must say I am slightly disappointed. When I arrived at rental facility, no one was at Enterprise. There was a note stating to walk outside and to the right. Another lady and I waited outside in the heat for about 10min before the reps walked out and got us squared away. My car was not cleaned at all. The car appeared as if it sat outside in the rain. Enterprise if you all dont do better, I will be standing in the long line for Avis. However, the car I received rides well.
The Enterprise experience takes too long. I had an advanced registration and when I arrived at the car rental desk there was a line and the self serve kiosk did not work. My team and I were in a hurry but the only option was to wait in line to process the reservation, then go out to meet the attendant who explained my car options and had to walk me around the vehicle for inspection, then I still had to collect my paperwork from the car lot attendant as I left. Thats three (3) people I interfaced with during my approximately 30 minute experience. To be clear, the people were friendly, the process simply takes too long! As a business traveller with a reservation I like the idea of being able to go straight to the car and go.
I had a good experience there was a little bit of a breakdown at the counter when I was getting ready to check in, the credit card from my company was not on file or something even though I had the confirmation page stating that it was. the manager came out and quickly handled the situation I emailed him a copy of the confirmation and not long after we were on our way. It was almost closing time but the managers were super nice and worked really hard to get us going as quickly as possible the car was good also and really good on gas. I will definitely use them again in my travels. The return was quick and easy and the price was exactly what I was quoted.
The staff was very friendly however Enterprise service was not on point today. In their defense they were having computer problems but it took one hour from start to finish before we left the lot with our rental car and that was with ordering it ahead of time online and we were there when they opened. We had to stand in two long lines and wait for an attendant to let us out of the lot which was a third line. One hour of waiting in lines with a toddler after a red eye flight was no picnic. While we were waiting we did notice Avis was open earlier than Enterprise and seemed to have more seamless service so I think the next time we rent a car we will give them a try.
The personnel was really nice; they are very organized so that the rental process was flawless. I had a choice of 5 different cars and they were all in perfect conditions. When I returned the car the personnel was very nice again and it was a very quick process. good job!
The car was dirty and smelled like smoke. Besides not looking vacuumed or wiped down, there were empty water bottles under the seat and a phone charger. Clearly the car was never cleaned. I should of asked for another car.I was 35 minutes early picking up the car. The agent initially charged me for an early pick up fee without giving me the choice of bringing the car back 35 minutes early. He did adjust the price, but I thought he should of told me before he charged me. It just put a bad taste in my mouth.
Just had literally the best customer experience of my life. Running late to catch my flight - I was nervous about taking the rental car shuttle. I reached out to enterprise and explained my situation and they offered to have me drive to the rental car return area and have one of the employees there drive me directly to the terminal. If that wasnt enough, Westin (the employee who drove me) was incredibly kind and generous with his time and made me feel like a member of the family. Seriously incredible.
Enterprise needs to do a better job of cleaning their cars and getting them ready for people to use! I had to go home and wash the inside of the windows just so I could see clearly in the car I got today... Another car I rented the tire went flat when I reaches my Destination, thank God it didn’t blow on the interstate and yet another one we rented in Ohio from enterprise the air conditioning went out!!! Overall, not having good experiences!! ...Unfortunately I can’t change companies because this is where my Company has their corporate account.
While picking up a car, I was hurried out and mistakenly marked for a full tank of gas, when in fact the car started with 3/4 tank. I returned it full, but the returning attendant was more than happy to take the 1/4 tank off my final bill to compensate - no questions asked. That level of trust is why I use Enterprise, and this location is great.
Enterprise is a ripoff and more than 30 days after you turn in car and they inspect and say everything is good they send a letter saying you turned in the car with body damage???? Really?? Never use this garbage company and take pictures when you pick up and drop-off! Screw them!!!
The truck was clean, staff was friendly, we were in and out quite quick. I had to return the truck early before hours to catch an early flight. Afterwards there seemed to be an issue with the distance read from the odometer. I was charged for extra miles but after contacting customer support they quickly admitted the error and refunded me the money. I was very pleased with the service. Im more than happy to deal with one or two hangups with a business as long as the company is willing to do the right thing. I would use this service again.
I told the person who shows you to your car that I wanted a full size car, not a premium car. I was told that the Ford fusion was a full size car. I was told that the bill would be adjusted when I returned the car. I just checked my credit card statement. I was billed the original price, not the adjusted price. When I returned the car, I asked the worker if the adjustment had been made. He assured me that it had. I have the paper copies of both receipts showing that you over charged me by $50. I do not think that is very good customer service. And I hope you will make the adjustment to correct this issue.Karen Clement
We rented an Infinity Q70. It was not an inexpensive rental, but certainly should have been. This was absolutely the worst rental we have ever had. Steering was not automatic, the side mirrors needed to be readjusted every time after backing up. The radio changed channels, all by itself, every time I started the car. It rode like a sports car, feeling every crack in the road. If I wanted a sports car, I would have rented one and would probably have been better off. We enjoy renting different vehicles to get a glimpse into different vehicle arenas, especially for future car purchases. Infinity is definitely NOT a contender. Total waste of money.
They were wonderful!! We had a 6 suitcases and 4 carry ones for 2 people. The guy at enterprise actually drive us to the airport gate so we wouldn’t have to try to attempt to move all that to the shuttle. Then he also helped us unload. Great service going above and beyond!!!
Service was great from arrival to car return. After confirming reservation at the Enterprise counter, I was met on my way out to the parking lot by another team member who took me directly to a car and i was on my way in minutes. Tee return process was just as easy. I was in contact with a total of 5 Enterprise employees and each was friendly and customer focused. this was only my second time renting with Enterprise... I will definitely consider them in the future.
We had to extend our rental last minute and the representative at the counter was incredibly helpful, calm, and personable. When the EZpass we rented did not work on the Indiana State Line, Enterprise took off that charge. Their customer service is the best of all the rental companies and it is therefore worth the extra $5 or so a day to rent from them versus any other rental car company.
What you need to know:There is one shuttle for 6 rental car companies that picks you up from the airport. All six share a building. When you get off the shuttle you approach the desk belonging to your rental car company. They then send you to another agent outside that shows you to your car.You get your receipt at the end as you drive out of the parking lot area, yes its your receipt for your rental, not a generic receipt. When you return just drive over the one way spikes into the return area. The building you pick up your car from is not far from the airport but the roads leading there are very round about or windy (not air blowing but curving a lot).Enterprise: Your car has to return with a full tank of gas. Keep that in mind. The staff was very helpful, kind, and speedy. They were professional and despite every part of the process being digital except for the receipt, I felt like a customer the whole time, each person handed me off confidently to the next person I had to interact with. I very much recommend Enterprise to anyone looking to rent a vehicle.
I only rent from enterprise now as a result of the excellent customer service. We had to wait 10 minutes for our vehicle because one of the employees called off work at the last minute that morning. The manager apologized for the wait and gave us a free rental upgrade. I was thinking what wait? Wow. Great service. Highly recommend.
Great customer service, when booking I asked for a discount and she gave me a few options. She mentioned a Costco discount and I do have a membership so that gave me a discount. Customer service at the airport was great, got through very quickly. Sign up for the Enterprise Plus on their website it is free and there is a separate line at the desk, makes it go much faster. The only bad thing was I only needed the car for 1 day and it was way more expensive for a 1 day rental, 1 way than renting for 4 days.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Cleveland Airport was a very good experience which is odd for me because most rent a car places seem to not be very customer-focused and have tons of problems. I fly a lot I rent a lot of cars and usually the staff is ambivalent to their customers and if they dont have your car or theres any problems they dont really seem to care one way or the other. When we arrived at the Cleveland Airport Rent-A-Car Enterprise they didnt have our vehicle and there were a couple issues with our reservation. Normally last stop was friendly they were helpful that got us a similar vehicle and got us out of there quickly and with a smile. Hopefully if your rental car is not set up halo you wanted to be staff are going to be like the ones at the Cleveland Airport Enterprise Rent-A-Car. If youre looking before you rent a car at the Cleveland Airport I would recommend Enterprise.
I visited Cleveland recently to spend time with family and rented a minivan to carry my family around. I walked right up to the counter, no waiting, and was on my way to my waiting car less than 5 minutes later. The car was clean and was perfect for my needs. As always, Enterprise did a fantastic job of ensuring everything went well on my trip. Thanks Enterprise!
I rented a car at the Cleveland airport for my trip in December. The airport has a convenient shuttle that takes you to the car rental location...I have never had to wait but a few minutes to get my car and out the door. They have a good system there, keep up the good work.
Ive rented from this location several times and its always been efficient and easy. This last time my trip was extended, and I had to fly in two other people in the middle of my stay. They made it easy to extend my rental as well as add the additional drivers. Check in can be a little frustrating but that is mainly due to the fact that it is off site of the airport and an entire bus load of people will sometimes be dropped off at the same time. Overall a solid four stars.
Other than getting a Ford, everything was very good and easy. Shuttle brought us from airport right to the lot, we walked directly over from the counter, were greeted on our way and directed to our car immediately. We were out of the lot and on our way in minutes. Returning the car days later was even easier and quicker.
The customer service at the Cleveland Airport was rude and nasty..Would never use them again... They told me if I didnt use their gas program that I would have to pay extra money. So I decided to take the plan which cost me $60 and all I got for $60 was a tank of fuel. Whatever you do dont fall for that trick.
Do you know this company put me on there do not rent list because months ago I was car jacked in one of there rentals as I was working for Lyft! Now not only am I on these list but also budget rentals and national rentals! Thanks a ton Enterprise for absolutely 💯 nothing!
Several cars were clean and ready for our selection upon arrival. Requested car seat was delivered to car for install within minutes. We took advantage of prepay full gas tank, a great deal. Car return was easy and efficient. Several cars were returned at same time and there were plenty of representatives to receive and check cars, very speedy check-in! Appreciated thorough inspection, as our representative found my husbands glasses in the process! Everyone was personable and in tune with customer service. Transport to and from CLE airport was ready and available in both directions, friendly and helpful drivers! No problems at all! Thumbs up for the five days of rental!
My check in experience deserves 5 stars, the representative behind the desk was excellent! She gave clear instructions and answered my questions, impressive! That is where my positive experience ends... I was met by a very rushed representative to take me to my rental car, it was pouring rain and I get it, but he made me stand outside the car until he checked the inside and then we walked around the outside to check for damage. He had me initial and sign and then stated there was a few stains and burn marks and he made a note of them. Then he was gone. I got in the car and it was DISGUSTING, it reeked of smoke and was filthy and well as burned. I can not believe it was being rented with out being cleaned first.... I was late for my meeting and had to go, so could not take the time to exchange it. This was my 1st experience with renting from Enterprise at CLE, and unfortunately will be the last. When I returned the car, I only had it for 24 hours, I suggested they take the car out of circulation until they could get it cleaned and aired out.... I HOPE someone listened!
First time car rental, chose Enterprise at Cleveland airport, needed to drop off in Seneca PA. Entire process was amazingly easy and well organized, great customer service, rate was very good, actually cheapest of all rental agencies. Cant say enough about pleasantness of people who run their counters!
Had a wonderful experience with Jacob at the Enterprise rental car at Cleveland airport. He hooked me up with an SUV rather than the full size specialty car I reserved and it helped get all my kids and baggage inside without trouble. The SUV was new and clean, drove perfect. Thanks again Enterprise.
I live near CLE airport and rent exclusively from Enterprise at least once a month for work. The team is always fast and professional, and I use this location because of the large variety of vehicles. They always make sure to find me a car I’m happy with. I got to know the manager of this location, Mike Achour, who really helped me get the right car for a golf trip I took with some friends (large SUV at an affordable price). I’d recommend this location and specifically Mike who is friendly and really made me feel like I mattered as a customer. It was honestly something I would never expect from something as mundane as a car rental company, so he exceeded my expectations.
The staff from the desk to where I picked up the care was just wonderful. They were very professional and so helpful. They did not press you into getting any additional promotions or insurances. I will continue to use Enterprise to rent a car. Keep up the excellent work .
Im always pleased with customer service in the phone or in person. Sometimes booking on the site is not user friendly. If I book online, it is not easy to locate military offers. Hiw can you make it easier to navigate. The in person customer service at Cleveland Airport was outstanding. Great attitudes!!!
The staff is so friendly & personable! I used another rental car company at the airport, and while the woman at the counter was very nice, when I went out to get my car, it was clear the employees werent lovin life. At Enterprise though, everyone has been super nice & upbeat. They do an excellent job hiring & Im assuming, treat their employees well.
Showed up and the selection was limited. The person that greeted me, had the cars that they offered. I, 99% of time, rent with Enterprise, and normally I always ask about an upgrade. Most of times, it is $10-$15 a day for the next model up. I normally rent a small SUV but sometimes opt for sports car. I questioned how much for an upgrade, the salesman told $70. I questioned $70???? Then the guy has the nerve to say work with me. Felt like an insult. So I took the original vehicle I reserved and when I dropped off vehicle, the rep taking the vehicle was very nice. Asked if I had any problems. I informed him and he gave me a free upgrade, which was very nice. Just did not like the initial interaction and Enterprise at this airport.
Excellent customer service. Attentive, courteous service representatives at both pick up and return. I was in and out in minutes. Highly impressed. After a horrible experience the same day with another rental company that did not have my prepaid confirmed (2 mos. prior) rental when I went to pick it up-they did nothing to assist with helping me find a replacement.Lucky to not only have found an available mini van rental at Enterprise that saved my vacation plans--very appreciative of the service I recd. Thank you.
Personal and professional. The attendants were attentive and seemed very happy to assist in all aspects of the rental. Very refreshing amid the overall travel experience of the airline portion of trips that tends to be full of anxiety. Thank you for helping to reduce the stress of travel so we could enjoy our vacation.
Enterprise Cleveland Hopkins Airport was first-rate, both in vehicle quality and in customer service. We rented a standard-size SUV in order to assist an elderly relative with his move to a retirement center. The Enterprise staff member in the vehicle pick-up area was exceptionally helpful with advice (which I requested) and knowledgeable about the available vehicles. When we returned eight days later, he not only remembered me but remembered why we had rented the car. I was impressed by his professionalism his exceptional degree of personal service. The car was excellent, the customer service was superb; and I plan to rent from Enterprise on our next Cleveland visit.
They where very rude and rental had bedbugs did not want to help me and kicked car when coporate called to force them to exchange vehicle the lady I spoke too must not care for her job very rude use anyone else other than this enterprise atleast till the management gets switched seriously made me drive 1100 mile with this picture I attached her to vehicle worst experience ever
Slight bit of confusion with the reservation number saying the rental was through National instead of Enterprise, but a quick call to the manager had everything sorted out. Car was great, everyone was polite and helpful and everything was much more reasonably priced than I had expected.Much better overall experience than renting a utility van from another Enterprise location, when on two separate occasions the van we had reserved had been rented to someone else.
Great service by the Enterprise Team at the Cleveland Airport. One heads up for everyone that is renting at this airport is that the airport staff does not do a great job at marking the rental car return area, so look that up on your GPS before you start driving back and it will save you a few minutes and some frustration.
Really great service and attitude from ALL the people I interacted with while renting a car for a weekend trip: the guy at the counter was courteous and sincerely engaging; the woman who walked me to my vehicle was the same; the man who checked me back in really truly wanted to know if I was 100% satisfied. I will use Enterprise again and recommend them to you, too.
Price and vehicle were fine; however, we went to pay with a debit card (we paid off/closed all credit cards) and they would NOT rent to us without one. VERY frustrating. Had to got pick up a family member and bring them up to use their credit card. Extremely frustrating and VERY embarrassing!
The customer service and car were fantastic. However; I left an item (wedding ring and two keys attached to the rental keys) in the car and went back to the counter 10 minutes later to notify the agents and they were unable to locate the car. They looked for 30 minutes and still could not find the car. Consequently, the agent started a lost item claim and had texts sent to my phone to check the status. I have tried several times to do this but it just tells me the the search is invalid. I guess my stuff is lost forever. Thanks Enterprise.
Rented a full size (Toyota Camry) from the Enterprise location at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport this past weekend. Was pleased with the greeting & service I received from the staff and they had a few cars in that class from which to choose. The car was in great condition inside and out - no dents/scratches or odd smells inside. The car drove great as I drove around Cleveland and took it to and from Columbus, OH. Returning it, too, was easy despite the mad rush of folks returning their cars on a Sunday afternoon. Overall: nice car & great employees. Would definitely rent from here again the next time Im back in CLE.
I travel for work and always use Enterprise. A family member is an employee so I know, through this connection, it is a good company in how it treats its employees. Every single employee with whom I have ever engaged is professional, sincere, well trained and knowledgeable. I have no reason to ever look elsewhere in renting a car -- either professionally or personally.
Wish I could give 10 stars! ILL ONLY USE ENTERPRISE!!! For the last year Ive been relying on Enterprise for several rentals, both one way and same location pick-up/return. Each location has been staged with helpful, kind people! This last one way trip starting out at the Cleveland Airport was EXEMPLARY service! After researching prices for one way, I found a competitors ( A
I met Jake Atkins of Enterprise in early 2019 at Hopkins airport Enterprise counter. My travel day had gone very poorly as we all have experienced, so I was expecting the next related debacle. Even though this event was some 8 month ago, I just found Jakes card and felt compelled to write a stellar review due to his understanding of event out of my control And what he was able to accomplish with Exceptional Customer Service !! Jake took an untenable situation of having very short vehicle availability and turned my experience and overall satisfaction to the next level. Jake was able to meet and exceed my vehicle needs with both sensitivity and creativity. I continue to choose Enterprise and hope to have the pleasure of working with Enterprise associate Jake Atkins again in the very near future !! John S
Everything was fine with the car, pick up, and drop up of the car. What was frustrating was that it didnt seem to matter that I am an Enterprise Plus member and booked the car online weeks before. There was no line at the pick up counter but I waiting probably 10-15 minutes for the Enterprise rep to key in my information and ask me the information that I already provided. Not sure what the benefit of Plus is. Next car will be through my other rental rewards programs.
My experience was jaded. I have been a member of Enterprise for years now yet it seems as though with each rental in different airports my experience changes drastically.Last rental was in Ohio International and oh boy what a mess plus car rear tire needed air every morning. But, even though you are a member with them you are treated like a new comer each and every time. The whole walk you to your car is a monumental waste of time. To me the greatest gift from a car rental agency is the respect of my time. I am not there on pleasure nor do I have the patience to go over the intricacies of each car rental.Perhaps there is someone out there that needs that step by step and they should be able to ask for it.Fortunately, for me I have options and enterprise is once again on the bottom of my list. Good luck with your business model.
We travel quite a lot and rent cars in most locations we go to. Over the years we have tried many companies. But we now use only Enterprise where they are available. They consistently offer the best service of any of the rental companies. Our last rental at the Cleveland Airport was no exception. Friendly, knowledgeable staff provided amazing service and product.
Made a reservation for a car at this location well in advance. Arrived on Thanksgiving Day 2019 to find NO CARS were available! Their flimsy explanation was that 93 cars that were scheduled to be returned that day had not come in. Somewhat hard to believe. I suspect poor planning on their part.As the old line from the Seinfeld series goes.....You know how to TAKE the reservation, but you dont know how to HOLD the reservation!!Last time we ever use Enterprise anywhere.
I love enterprise. I never have a issue with them. Everyone is always friendly and willing to assist. They value your time and their goal is to get you in and out. This time in particular, i had booked through budget and they had credit checks and jumping through hoops. I went right over to enterprise and was in and out.
I just had a very pleasant and quick rental pickup at the Cleveland Airport Enterprise location. Adam was very personable at check in and Jake A was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on pickup. I had lots of questions and Jake A. patiently answered each one. Thank you! No unwelcome surprises and great, friendly service.
There was a misunderstanding with the rental agreement that occurred during my upgrade request. The Enterprise Rent-A-Car team at Cleveland Hopkins Airport corrected it above and beyond my satisfaction! They really do care about providing outstanding customer service! See you next time!
My experience with Enterprise was great. When I arrived the interior of the car that I was supposed to get was not clean so the guy who helped me gave me an upgrade to a more presentable car. When I was returning I got caught in traffic and was running late for my flight. The lady who was checking me in actually drove me to the airport so I didnt have to wait for the shuttle. The customer service at this location was stellar. I will ALWAYS rent from Enterprise when I fly into Cleveland!
I am impressed with the service of Enterprise. So far, my experience doing business with them is outstanding. I arrived at CLE and the shuttle picked me up and took me to the central rental location. I was issued a Ford Fusion for my five day stay. The counter person was very helpful. When I went to the lot, another person walked me around the car and explained all the gadgets for this 2015 car. They give you current year cars to drive. When I returned the car, the personnel were quick to check me in. After inspecting the car, I was soon on the shuttle back to CLE airport. There is a lot of road and airport construction going on because of the upcoming GOP Convention. Driving back to the rental location was not difficult. Enterprise has taken a huge step in customer service. Everyone I came in contact with could not be more helpful and pleasant. They are always smiling and appear to care. I opted to pay for Enterprise to fill up the car with gas at drop off. The area price per gallon was $2.40 per gallon. The Enterprise cost was $1.88 per gallon. It is more convenient to allow Enterprise to manage everything at drop off. Absolutely incredible. Thank you Enterprise for again taking the leadership role and taking care of your customers. You have convinced me to remain a loyal customer and I will do my rental business with you again.
Came into Enterprise tonight to ask for help looking up a past rental, and I was greeted by a set of INCREDIBLY enthusiastic employees that accomplished what I needed with ease, while still showing off their remarkable skill and experience with the company. Shout out to Jeff, Mike, and Bruno - you all deserve raises! Seriously, they were so good, they prompted me to post my FIRST EVER Google review!
Great experience from start to finish. The customer ahead of me was having an issue, so the employee directed me to the self serve kiosk. It was very quick and easy to get what I need to then go get my car. Enterprise employs very friendly people, making a weary travelers experience quite pleasant.
Rented an SUV. When I received it you could tell it hadnt been cleaned. I found sand, food, bugs, trash, sticky drinks on seats. This is all during COVID!! They did not care enough to disenfect the car. I had to sanitize, wipe down and vacuum the whole car before we could drive it. All they did for me was take the extra driver cost off! That was only $100!!! I paid $1500 for the rental!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
The Cleveland Enterprise office is outstanding. When I arrived at the desk to check in, there were several people ahead of me. I tried to use the self-serve kiosk (which I have used before), but the drivers license reader wouldnt read my license. The agent politely apologized for the inconvenience and took my suggestion of having an alternate way to retrieve my reservation. He then gave me a slight upgrade in cars. The agent in the lot asked me what car I drive at home in an attempt to find something similar in my class so that I got the best car possible. Everyone was very friendly with their service. I only wish that I had driven farther.
Usually I have very good experiences with Enterprise, but this time in Cleveland it was not so great. The rental car facility is rather far from the airport so it took a while to get there. The staff on hand was very nice, and gave us a choice of cars, and here is where maybe I take the blame for choosing badly. I chose a Jeep Patriot because it had a more roomy interior and cargo space than the other options. We loaded up and left, and it wasnt too long before I realized the car had no acceleration, squeeky, worn out brakes and a not-so-great A/C. It had plain aluminum rims and wasnt very stylish at all. Bad choice on my part, but the car was not in good condition , which is your fault. The car seat they gave me didnt fit very well and it was hard to tighten it down to add to the frustration.
I recently rented a premium luxury vehicle through Enterprise. I have only rented through Enterprise, but their customer service is subpar and leaves a lot to be desired. My most recent vehicle was/is infested with ants. They bit my infant and have wreaked havoc on the interior. I placed a call (which took two hours) to corporate and was told management would call me to switch out the vehicle - nothing. No call. No adjustments. Nothing. Will never rent from Enterprise again.
This is the 2nd time Ive rented from Enterprise and both times were great. Very professional and polite personnel. Well organized; a selection of vehicles within the class I had ordered and check out/check in times were speedy. Ill definitely rent from Enterprise again.
Employees are very friendly. There is no hassle to get your car and go, but my only HUGE concern is that the car I always gets smells like cigarette smoke. I hate and cant stand the smell. I almost turned around to get a different car but didnt have the time to turn around. I wish they did more so that it didnt smell like smoke. Charge people an arm and a leg when they do smoke in the car or something. I had a headache the whole time I had the car. Who smokes anymore? Smoking is out folks!
A compact car was not available so I appreciated the free upgrade. When I returned the car it was a discrepancy in the fees for the weekly rental. The counter agent refunded 20 buck for the error that the booking representative created. It wasnt my error so I filed a complaint in regards to the AM, PM mistake that was made by the booking representative. A few days after I returned to California, I got a call from Enterprise. Amazingly they refunded an addition 27 bucks to my account. Now thats what I call customer satisfaction!I would have continued to book my rentals from this company because I have never had a problem EVER with Enterprise over the years. Of course I learned to pay attention to the time factor as well as the dates. Over all, Im a happy customer:)
This a friendly , on top of things business. I have been using them for years and find them to be a great rental car company to work with. I once left expensive sunglasses in my drop off car and they Fed Ex d them to me the next day. Says a lot for the character of the persons working there. Just had a mixed communication issue and they took care of it right away. Cant say enough about them and highly recommend them.
THE absolute best experience Ive ever had renting a car. The price was the best for the vehicle and time I needed it, and the gentlemen who helped me are top tier customer service professionals. If they arent the best rate the next time I need a rental (highly doubt that will be the case), I wont mind paying more because their service is worth it.
We needed a car for a week to attend a 50th high school reunion. The reservation was made a couple of weeks before we flew into Cleveland airport. The shuttle bus from the terminal to the consolidated rental lot was quick and easy. The check-in and car pickup was also easy. The lot attendant pointed out the quickest way to get to I-480 so we could head west to the reunion. The return instructions on the enclosed paperwork made getting back to the rental car return simple. The return process and shuttle bus back to the terminal was uneventful. Nice job Enterprise.
We have rented many times from enterprise in New Phila, but I must say Cleveland Enterprise hooked us up. Great service and wonder people. Thank you all for the help to travel safely back home! I will always rent from Enterprise!!We set everything up from the website. Get to the airport, take a shuttle about 5 mins away to the enterprise and other car rentals. It took about 10mins once we got our luggage, to go from the shuttle to rental to check in to getting the car. Very easy, fast and very convenient
Avis is super and excellent. They have all varieties of card you want and you get a free upgrade with no extra charge of they dont have a type of car which have reserved. I like that feature from Avis. You can extend the rental duration just by calling them and it will be done in hardly 10 mins. This would spare lot of time for you. There are lot of discount codes available so that you get the car for cheaper price than competitors
I didnt understand the full cost of the toll pass sensor that I used only one day during a multi-day trip. I mentioned this when returning the car in Pittsburgh (after renting it in Cleveland). Drew checked the car back in and cheerfully and efficiently removed the toll pass charges for the unused days. What great customer service!
The last 2 rental were a great improvement in your customer service. In Cleveland, the rep was very accommodating given that there was expected inclement weather-I was provided with a great vehicleIn FLL on my return, I was given a choice as they were hit with a lot of travelers. The rep there provided a great car even though it was a one way to Sebring
I have been renting cars through enterprise for over 15 years (Plus Member). Happen to have my wallet stolen and could not get a car even though it was reserved under a debit card. I understand the damages and liability aspect, however, for a loyal client with a known address I thought an exception could have been allocated given the circumstances. Versa rented need some brakes as well. Not a great overall experience. Sat there over an hour trying to get a friend/relative online to make a reservation on their card on my behalf.
I rent vehicles fairly often and the last few times, I would get a vehicle that I really did not want, at the other rental companies. This time with Enterprise, I got the vehicle I wanted. Great service also, My only concern was it hit 5,000 miles and the check engine light was on for the duration to Orlando FL and back. No problems though, it was a great experience. I will be back!!!
The car was nice, and the price was great! I did feel like the person who checked my reservation when i arrived to pickup my rental was rude but I addressed it with someone at the car pickup and they apologized and assured me they would deal with it. When i returned my car I discussed this with them and they took care of me! This is why i only rent from enterprise for the last 4 years!!!
Vacation rental was a 2016 Nissan Murano, brand spanking new. Excellent car, had five other cars they let me choose from. From check in to picking up car was flawless, quick and easy. Returns was even quicker. Very friendly staff on both ends, explained everything perfectly. I definitely will rent cars from them in the future..
I have rented from enterprise all over the country but CLE was terrible. They were understaffed with no one available to take you to you car. My family stood in the cold for 15-20 minutes while I looked for any workers. On the return a few days later, it was the same situation. We stood by the car looking for anyone for at least 10 minutes with other renters waiting for an employee to show up. While I will continue to use enterprise around the country, I will choose another rental service on future trips to Cleveland.
I rent a full size vehicle for a one week round trip from Cleveland to St Louis and back. I have always used Enterprise. This is the first time I felt totally let down. The car was dirty. The windshield looked like some one had rubbed a mop over it and then let it air dry. Only noticeable through sunlight. The passenger compartment had not been swept out.Additionally, I rented a Premium level vehicle. There is a significant difference in price between Full-size and Premium. The Nissan Maxima I drove, other than the on board/in dash navigation system was no different than my personal Hyundai Sonata, so I really dont feel that I got any value out of the car. Last year, the Chrysler 300 I rented WAS significantly better.Check in and check out was fine. Counter personnel were fine. But, overall, I was very disappointed.
One of the better locations. I rent all over the US and Las Vegas is one of most efficient, especially considering how many cars they rent out and return a day. The selection in the Executive rows is always full of good cars to choose from. Check out is always hassle free and fast. Return is always a breeze. The employees understand the stress in air travel and it is appreciated.
Enterprise always impresses me with their customer service and the only car rental company that I use when traveling for work but my experience this week at the Cleveland airport location blew me away and deserves a special shout out. The customer service provided by Branch Manager Chris Meinhold was outstanding. I dont come to Cleveland often but when I do, I will be going to this Enterprise location and asking for Chris! :)
I recently rented a car from Enterprise at the Cleveland Airport in Ohio. Joe, from Enterprise, asked me where I was headed. When I told him, he said that I would be going through some toll roads. He advised me to purchase the toll pass for an additional $4. I took his advice and I am so glad that I did. I went through 4 tolls on my one hour trip each way. I was able to thank him in person the next morning when I returned the car. But I wanted to publicly acknowledge his great customer service here. He looked out for me, the customer, and I greatly appreciate it.
I always used Avis. One trip Avis at Cleveland airport were completely incompetent and treated me terribly. I walked over to Enterprise and they treated me like gold! Robert Shea the guy on call was super nice and accommodating and made me feel amazing! Every time I come back he remembers me and is super nice! Go Enterprise!
I was SURPRISED!! Pleasantly surprised! I needed a rental car for a trip to Ohio and first went to Hertz. $174/day. Wow! Budget was the same price. Enterprise was $77/day with unlimited mileage, BIG difference! I booked Enterprise fearing I would find a negative reason for the difference. Nothing could have been further from the truth! At the Cleveland airport, I walked up to the desk and gave my name. The associate actually reached out over his monitor to shake my hand and welcome me with a friendly smile!! Who does that?? Within 2 minutes I was walking outside to find my car. Star #1!I was then immediately spotted by the lot associate who came to escort me to available cars. There were 3 that didnt excite me, all having dark interiors which I dislike. He asked what I would like and I told him I was hoping for a Hyundai Elantra with lighter interior. He asked me to let him check out other vehicles and in a couple of minutes he pulled up in an Elantra with light gray interior and it appeared in as standard condition as any rental car. Star #2!I stopped at the exit post and the man inside was so friendly it actually shocked me! He offered directions to help me get to my destination. Star #3!The car was fine, certainly not inferior to others, but when the interior got really warm from the heater (which I like), there was an odor generated. When I returned the car at my destination, I related this to the fellow who was checking it in and suggested they may want to detail it before the next driver. He apologized profusely and immediately gave me a $50 credit. Star #4!!!Am I now an Enterprise customer? YOU BET! GO ENTERPRISE and keep up the good work! It was a PLEASURE from start to finish!
At first I was not happy for the unexpected charges. I spoke with the person that gave me the rental. He upgraded me to the Chevy Mabliu with Apple CarPlay (which I absolutely love) and took off the charges! That made me feel like a valued customer. I will be renting another car in February from Enterprise because they truly care about their customers! Thank you!! See you in February 2019!
Our experience with Enterprise got off to a rough start when, after arriving on a 10:15pm flight, we had to wait 45 min for the toddler car seat we reserved to be located. However, I am still giving a 5 star review because of the courtesy, care and attention provided by Ian and his team. They went above and beyond, including traversing the grounds on foot, to locate a car seat for us, gave us updates as the search progressed, and kept their cool in the face of an increasingly annoyed toddler. Kudos to Ian and his staff.Once we got our rental underway, our experience was fantastic and enjoyable.
I was disappointed with Enterprise for the first time. The rental car had not been cleaned and was covered with salt, the gas was one measuring bar short of a full tank, and the clerk knew nothing about the free upgrade I was promised if I booked the car through the link I was sent. I would prefer that this feedback be for Enterprise only and not be posted as I have always been happy with Enterprise and this is an exception.
Flew into Cleveland, OH late and got outstanding service on a cold snowy night from the team at Enterprise. First, they got the car warmed up while we did the walk around. They offered GPS and directions, which I did not need, but thought was nice. They were really helpful the whole time I was onsite picking up and then when I returned the car. Outstanding service and really clean cars.
I first tried renting from a competitor but a combination of return location and customer service led me to go next door to the Enterprise counter. Im glad I did! Robert was friendly, great to work with, and focused on me the entire time, and this service helped to convince me to spend a little extra for an American sports car. When I went to the lot to get my vehicle, the Challenger I planned to drive lacked SiriusXM, but Jacob grabbed me a Camaro SS (upgrade, in my opinion). He was as happy for me to get the car as I was to drive it! The other guys on the team there were friendly and supportive as well. The gal at the gate to leave the lot was also all smiles -- a fitting end to my experience at CLE!Turned out in the excitement and smiles someone messed up my rental agreement and I didnt catch it until shortly before I returned my rental at my destination -- they had mistakenly checked CLE as the origin and destination both. (That was how I got such a great deal on the Camaro!)I called the CLE location back and explained the error. They resolved the issue quickly and courteously (and charged me extra since I was driving to a different location a state away). I dont even begrudge them the additional charges I was forced to incur -- if nothing else, the level of service was worth it.Overall, my experience was GREAT! Would *definitely* recommend the Enterprise CLE gang for any rental needs. And Enterprise will be my first consideration for any future rental cars!
Earlier this week Dakota did a phenomenal job with helping me out at the counter. Great service overall! However Michael (who usually gives me an upgrade for free🙄) took me to a Ford fusion instead... which didnt even have heated seats. Overall great experience as usual!
I have rented several cars from enterprise over the last few years for work so they were my go when it came to renting an SUV for my family vacation. The wait and check in process was great and the desk people were very nice. However it took Sirius over an hour to load on the car and I had to call the office about it. Then when we got the car home my father discovered that no one had cleaned the back of our GMC Acadia both the 2nd and 3rd row had food particles ground into the floor and between the seats. He also found a huge stain between the rows that he couldn’t decide if it was feces or chocolate. He and my mother both tried see if it could be cleaned up but had no success getting any of it up. Since they do not normally rent cars for vacations this sent them into a panic. We called Enterprise back and they were willing to exchange this Acadia for another or an equal equivalent. For fear of getting charged they ended up exchanging the car for another cleaner Acadia but there was no compensation for the inconvenience of having to exchange or for giving us a dirty car in the first place which upset them.I have always had great cars from Enterprise and I had been bragging about this location and it’s service when planning the trip so I was very disappointed that this the experience we received. While we loved the car and had a great vacation, I have a feeling that they will be thinking twice before renting from Enterprise again
If I could give zero stars I would! I was very tired when having to rent a car as I was supposed to fly. The clerk made it known that he was very tired too. Needless to say he did not point out on the paperwork that I was getting charged .30 a mile! I havent paid for mileage on a rental since the 80s! They will not refund me either which is horrible business when I was not informed and we rent cars from Enterprise all the time for our business.
Arrived at 11:30pm after being up since 5am, working all day. Check in was easy. Went out to get my car, chose a Ford Fusion. Go in drove away and realized I didnt have a fob. Tried looking for it couldnt find it, turned around went back and they found the fob under the passenger seat. Now normally you have two fobs with the key in the fob. This time I get two fobs the keys out of the fob and a HUGE glob of keys to try and carry in my pocket. Now I wasnthappy so I asked for a different car. I chose a Chevy Impala got in and the car reeked, got out even more un happy said this one isnt going to work either. Chose another Chevy Impala and it was fine. I then apologized to the young man for being a HUGE PIA, I said I was just tired. He said no problem well yes it is. I didnt have the right to treat him that way.To all the staff at Cleveland Hopkins Enterprise thanks for all you do. Again Im sorry for being such a PIA.Thomas
I reserved a premium SUV almost 2 months in advance. When I got there they had none left and I had to downsize to an Explorer which was not enough room for everything I needed. I used my points collection to pay for my vehicle. Even after contacting customer service, they said the best they could do is knock a few bucks off the insurance I purchased. I requested my points be refunded, and they said they had the inability to do that. If you are counting on getting the size vehicle you reserved, dont. Chances are it will not be available.
The staff at the Enterprise Cleveland airport are very friendly and helpful. While traveling to Cleveland on business my day had been very hectic, the bright spot of my travels was the experience at Enterprise. The woman that helped me in the lot was so nice and I even got an upgraded vehicle, that was definitely the highlight of my trip. Thank you!
Grant at Warrens office was quite helpful and upgraded our reservation, but he could have shown us where to get the windows down in the Wrangler 4-door we got. Drove all the way to Cleveland airport without realizing how to open the windows then they showed when returning the car. Other than that a nice experience.
Rented a vehicle in Cleveland. Enterprise gave me a choice. Chose the Explorer. Great car, clean. Dropped off two mornings later before the desk was open. No problem. They called me the next day to see if an item left in the armrest was mine. Really? All the customers they handle and they would mail it back to me? Ill be back.

2022-07-21I rent cars weekly from this location. Megan and staff have been more than accommodating when my travel plans change last minute. Cars are always clean and fueled up. Check in is quick and effortless. Drop off is a breeze. We have a corporate account with them, but even if we didn’t I’d prefer to rent from this Enterprise every time! The shuttle service is always on time. I cannot speak highly enough of this location. Thank you all for your hard work!

2022-06-09They were wonderful. Easy pick up. I must say we had a horrible time returning the carat a different location though. When we picked up at the airport, it was 10 PM tonight so we couldnt see the condition of the car. When we went to drop it off there was apparently a bunch of dog hair and they accused us of having a dog and tried to charge us a cleaning fee for a vehicle we had less than 12 hours... We tried to explain to them that we did not fly with the dog, but they gave us a big hassle trying to return it anyways.

2022-07-20Had signed up for executive, a few months ago.. Using now for the first time.. Had booked myself directly from National website and was totally hassle free, getting the car I wanted. Need to wait to see, how the rental return goes..! But, so far so good..!!

2022-07-22I’ve rented from Enterprise many times before and the service was always great. This location was disappointing, the car was not clean, would not honored my corporate discount. I understand mistakes happen the problem lies when there’s no effort to correct them. I wrote to customer service hoping to get my discount honored and still have not received an answer.

2022-07-31Waited forever. They dont have a lot of cars and what they have is completely overpriced. You cant get a car for less than $300 a day it seems. They need to get their business back in order from before the pandemic, but they dont seem to know how to do that. There is no more customer service.

2022-07-28I reserved my vehicle online in advance, so the pick up was very quick, and I just walked in and got shown the few options for Addams they had available. Friendly staff. My only slight complaint is the cleaning was definitely rushed. There was a sticky spot in the backseat, and the staff left used cleaning rags and spray in the trunk.

2022-07-08Booked a rental to meet my family in Tennessee tomorrow. Got a ride to the airport from strongsville to pick up rental vehicle. A rude rep who didn’t look interested in assisting me, let alone working period, asked me for a second form of ID, he said said I just booked (never happened before) asked for a card of payment, gave him my debit card (I’ve ALWAYS paid for enterprise with my debit card) since I didn’t have a return flight I couldn’t use my debit card and had to use a credit card. (Never heard before and never happened before, nor did they provide that information upon booking) HUGE inconvenience, and the rep literally acted uninterested in assisting further, got up from the counter and started talking to someone else while I was standing there. I’m a loyalty member with Enterprise and will be looking elsewhere. If u need enterprise: book through the Strongsville location! Much more pleasant people and the prices are MUCH cheaper. My rental was 150$ cheaper than the airport. And they are a few miles away from each other. A complete rip off.

2021-05-20Rented a car last weekend for my nephews prom. Got it for a pretty good price since I booked way in advance. Only about $200 for two days for a mustang or anything similar. I stopped in two days earlier since this was my first time renting from Enterprise. I spoke with a young lady who told me they would have numerous options for me to pick from. When I got there on May 14th, Mike Angers helped me( he said he had been promoted). I asked to see all of my options for vehicles since this was prom I had no problem upgrading. In my opinion there were really no options for me to pick from. There was only 1 white mustang, and maybe 6 (what he called upgrades) these options were typical SUVs, jeeps and 1 newer 2021 car but my nephew is a big football player so I felt that option was entirely too small. I was definitely disappointed and Mike seemed to have an attitude of having better things to do. He seemed shocked that I got my reservation at such a low cost. Then said well you know thats not the actual price with the hold I told him Ive rented cars before and money wasnt an issue. When I got to the mustang to actually take a look at it there were some issues I pointed out. He proceeded to say well dont get it then Its prom and I dont have many choices so I tried to call my nephew to get his opinion. Mike went back inside to help another customer whom by the time I walked in was frustrated because she had a debit card. When I was ready to check out he immediately asked me for my insurance company. I hesitantly told him. Then he asked how much was my deductible. I asked him why? He said to contact them if there are any issues. I asked why didnt he offer me the rental insurance especially being that there are already issues with the vehicle. He added the insurance and was trying to fly through the process when his tablet died. He was rushing so much I told him I also wanted to prepay the tank. He kept looking at me as if I wasnt able to afford all of this but was so patient with the lady who had a debit card. I wont blame every Enterprise for this ones bad taste they left me but I will not be returning to the Cleveland airport Enterprise.

2022-06-17We were told we had to use the app and that the person at the desk was unable to do anything other than give us keys. We just wanted to change our drop off location but since it was past the rental time, we were unable to do so on the app. So we cancelled our reservation and went to budget where the line was shortest nb

2022-06-26I have rented from this Enterprise at Cleveland Airport on numerous occasions and have had wonderful experiences, but this time the vehicle selection was subpar.I was planning a trip to Buffalo with some friends and we decided to get a minivan for the trip.I arrived and was greeted by friendly staff, but the 3 minivans available were beat up and dirty. The black Chrysler Pacifica - the front bumper had been noticeably damaged. I did not think the bumper would have survived the highway.1 navy Chrysler Pacifica - the I ultimately chose. Had significant scratches to the passenger rear view mirror case. The passenger window had been covered in some sort of film and not cleaned off. It looked like the passenger had opened a can of pop that had been shaken. And Enterprise never cleaned it.The cloth interior in the back, at the tailgate was also coming apart from the body of the car.1 gray Chrysler Pacifica - this car looked like it had been recently side swiped. I know people get careless with their rentals, but it was in no condition to rent out. Visible scratches all along the rear quarter panel.
